Done. I'm assuming I can post in the current operation seeing as it's just started?
And I don't know if you want any suggestions for more useable weapons, but I feel like the Galil ACE might be a nice addition. Specifically the 20 inch barrel 7.62x51 variant so my character can use it.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to retcon you in. I can make some edits if it's OK with the others.

5.56 and 5.45 are specifically designed to wound not kill (not saying it won't) so the enemy has to use more supplies caring for someone who's wounded, 7.62, both NATO and R, are designed to put them down, it doesn't cost many supplies to take care of a dead body. and since we want to thin the ETs numbers so they have a smaller invasion force, we want something that kills not wounds.

You do make a fair point. Perhaps some Kalashnikov models should be added to the Assault Rifles?

Also, I'd think that the 7. 62 would be the most common round, since 1 in every 5 guns is an AK.

The AN-94 is a bad gun though. Russian military tests found it too complicated compared to the AEK-971 and AK-107, which offered similar recoil reduction on a much simpler system and with the improved muzzle brakes you can get for AKs, you can get the same recoil reduction on the same basic AK system. At this point, the AN-94 is trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist anymore. Give us the AK-12 or the latest production variant of the AEK-971 instead because they're both objectively better guns and look more futuristic as well, which is the most important thing in a sci-fi RP.
