Take your time (I actually just picked up the Enemy Within expansion from the Steam sale awhile back, so I completely understand)How do you like Bureau so far?

Combat mechanics are extremely similar to Mass Effect2/3, with a few notable exceptions. Mass Effect's "pause time" mechanic, to issue orders, is instead a "slow time" mechanic which was implemented fairly poorly. The cover system is also pretty bad, and using it fluidly is damn near impossible; it's many times worse than ME2's (I've played through ME2 on 'Insanity' many times, and XCOMBureau has proven difficult in some sections, on the easiest difficulty, simply because the mechanics are so clumsy). In terms of story it's not bad, but not spectacular, and the length of the campaign is fairly short and it doesn't have dynamically generated sandbox missions. On the whole, I'd give a 5.5-6/10.
If I'd paid retail price for it then I'd feel really cheated, but I got it for less than a buck so it's fine.

My internet is a bit slow as I downloading World of Tanks. I will post tomorrow, me promise.
Warthunder is better for tanks IMO. Red Orchestra 2 lacks variety (4 tanks; T-70, T-34, Pnz III H and Pnzr VI G), but it perfectly nails the feel and realism of an actual tank, and has excellent infantry combat. I personally could never get over the arcadey-ness of WoT.
