Both of the Cap's films were militarized, but the one I'm watching (Winter Soldier) is more modern and it erks me to no end.

So at the end, when Cap and Fal say they're going after Bucky, what the hell? There's no movie for that lined up, nor does it seem to have a tv show or anything. More questions then answers, really.

Apparently, many say that Winter Soldier has been the best film in the Marvel saga at the time of its release - not so sure I agree with that. But tbh I liked the more grim-dark feel, always irked me that Captain America was - you know - a soldier, and that part of him never clashed with his pure heart and motives. No offense intended to any rl soldiers, just that war is a nasty business any which way you cut it.

As a whole movie, I think Cap to would be up there with Avengers 1 &2. However, some of the better/ more fun scenes come from different movies like Ironman vs the tank, or when Thor fights The Destroyer.

okay yeah .50 beowulf is a shit load better, they actually fit inside AR-15s as well, literally all you have to do is change the barrel.

What kind of rifle? If it's not in Van's list, I'm inclined to say no, because I don't think it's realistic for a serviceman to bring his own personal main weapon.

Well in certain countries it is expected(Swiss issue a go home gun, Central and South America, most of Africa, parts of Asia, European countries with no standing army, and most militias and mercs.) In others, if you feel your performance improves with a certain weapon that is not SI they may requisition it for you and let you use it instead (USA.) Seeing how he is a former PMC, it would be odd for him not to :P .
