So I'm thinking of running this as a secondary character. I'm fine with others taking control of him a bit, like an NPC, but for any major plots involving him, I'd like to get asked for permission and the like as I've got some loose plans.

Experience: 8 years of service with the US Army, 3 years of which were with the US Army Rangers. He also skydived in High School, if that could be perhaps considered ‘experience’.
Height and Weight: 180cm, 80kg (?)
Appearance: Working on it boss!

Short Bio:
Born in the good ol’ US of A, Geoffrey’s parents were farmers, as were their parents before them – a bit of a family business. The middle son of a family of 5, Geoff helped out on the family farm as was expected of him, but he never really took to the life – and his parents noticed early on. There was no animosity caused by his distaste for the work which they had done for generations, and Geoff’s Dad went out of the way to try and help is son find his own place in the world – and that place was found in the backseat of a crop-duster.

Geoff loved feeling the wind rushing past his face, the chill drilling into any piece of exposed flesh. For his 15th birthday, his father had promised him some flying lessons, and it was only a sparse few years before Geoff managed to get his licence. However, he felt like the metal tube surrounding him was a restrictive barrier between him and the freedom of true flight. When the opportunity to try out skydiving presented itself, Geoff jumped at the opportunity, and never once looked back.

By the time he graduated from High School with above-average grades, Geoff had taken part in national skydiving competitions, winning his fair share of accolades – but outside of the course he found that he kept pushing the limits. HALOs, base jumps, he’d even got the fortune to try out a wing-pack at one tournament – as long as he was falling, and Geoff’s blood was pumping, he felt alive. An adrenalin junky at heart, and a patriotic one at that, Geoff enlisted after a gap year of travelling. Eight years in, and he’s earned himself a name as someone who knows bugger all about holding their tongue, keeping it in their pants, and as a darn good Ranger.

That last bit, coupled with his skills when thrown out of a plane at a couple thousand feet and a shotgun in hand, is probably the only reason he hasn’t been demoted all the way.

Weaknesses:
- Good looking women (he’s something of a womaniser and a flirt).
- Overconfident to a fault.
- He’s a very strong believer of ‘no-man left behind’ and, although he may initially come across as arrogant, has put his own life in danger to try and help out a comrade.
- ‘Quiet’ is not high on his list of vocabulary.
- He doesn’t have a lot of respect for authority. He may endure it sometimes, but a couple more stars won’t cause him to stand any straighter.

Skills:
- Airborne: Geoff feels most alive when he’s falling through the air at terminal velocity. He excels at aerial insertion, be it rappelling, or an airdrop.
- The Flash: Although he lacks the stamina of a scout, Geoff is capable of incredible bursts of speed, and has the reactions to match. This is pretty much essential when your role is an assault, and Geoff has a bit of a rep for getting a bit too close to the enemy – so every split-second counts that bit more.
