Equipment: Pretty much the only things Florian carries around with him constantly are a photograph of him at age 10 standing next to an IS-2, his favorite tank, at the famous Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia; and a Swiss Army Knife as an aid for his Field Mechanic work. Florian most often wears a white t-shirt displaying a shamrock and an Irish flag inset on the shamrock, and faded blue jeans. When it comes time for Sims or Exercises, Florian dons a Russian World War II-vintage leather tanker cap in addition to his normal wear.

Character Story: Florian came to S.T.A.G. through a friend of his father's. He was planning on taking mechanical engineering courses if the application fell through, and already knows enough about certain tanks to fix them up in a jiffy, even using unconventional methods. Thanks to his knowledge of the history of warfare since AFVs came into play during World War I, Florian has a good knowledge of the Simulations and they shouldn't be too difficult for him. Florian is a happy-go-lucky kid when he's not commanding tanks and will be happy to make friends, especially among those interested in tanks. Florian strives to be the best he can be despite knowing that such an ideal is pretty much impossible to achieve. He wants to be recognized and known for his fierceness in tank warfare and general friendliness around others.

That was a response Tom could expect. "Pretty boring in here, huh? You'd think they'd try and spruce it up a bit." He almost said 'lively', but that would be a terrible choice of words when talking with a suicidal girl.

"Well, alright then, let's just get straight to the chase and blabber out all this crap that's almost scripted. I'm Tom, your guide in this place that you'd probably rather not be in. There was a short pause before he continued.

"Look. I'm sure you're just absolutely joyous about this place and you'd much rather the world forgets you exists, because you don't want to exist anymore. I know how you feel because I was just that way too. I was in a similar place to this. But it was a guide like what I am now who helped me change, and now it's my turn to spread that to you. Make you realize the world doesn't want to forget you, because underneath all the pain you're a wonderful person that the world needs. Now, I know that sounded ridiculously cheesy and cliché, but just bear with me, okay? I know that you probably will hate me, but there's really nothing we can do about that now is there?" Tom finished. Goddamn, he needed to work on his explanations.

Personality: Florian is headstrong and confident. He won't take "no" for an answer, and this can make him a little bit of a perfectionist. Oh, and don't ever diss Russian tanks in Florian's presence, unless you wish the wrath of a Stalinium-powered maniac upon you faster than you can say "Stronk tenk iz ded". He will launch into a red-faced tirade that might last up to a full hour, and then, to put it lightly, greatly dislike you for an indeterminate amount of time. Since Florian knows so much about tanks to begin with, he learns and adapts very quickly in Sims or Exercises, so he is quite the force to be reckoned with. And god help you if he's on the other team in a Russian tank...

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good

Bio: Florian's father and uncle were serving in a British armoured regiment in the Middle East when he was born. Florian's father was the gunner of a Challenger 2, while his uncle was the driver of an FV107 Scimitar light tank. So it was only natural that Florian would come to be a tank enthusiast as well. By the time Florian turned 7, this interest was already well in motion. Anything Florian read "for fun" was about tanks in some shape or form. Any video game he played had to have something where you got to control a tank. He went to as many events involving tanks as he could possibly go to. The commander of the old unit Florian's father and uncle had served in recommended S.T.A.G. to Florian, as the commander had sent his own son there a few years before and it had been a great experience. He told Florian all he knew about the Academy, and Florian was easily convinced. Through a high-ranking friend of the commander's, Florian was able to obtain enough influence to get into the program and pay for it easily.
