If they attempt to reconquer them (the Mexican half of the nation probs wants to do so) they risk angering Alaska. Scotland might also just come in and be like EY LOOK THOSE ISLANDS LOOK NICE NOM NOM NOM and grab their shit in the Caribbean.

I would not say to start the war on your own, but in all honesty if the opportunity arises, take advantage of it.

Considering the Hispanic Fed is a rival of Scotland there's no doubt the nation would join you in a war against them, whether or not we make any direct land gains is irrelevant to that fact.

Basically it was that you get the Southern Pacific and if you're gonna gun for Tasmania then go for it. Taking anything in the Caribbean is an absolute no. Besides, the Hispanic Navy would be too strong in the region for you to launch any successful campaign that you'd be able to consolidate any gains.
