"I'm sorry... Just... It's against most everything I've been taught and I believe in to kill. I know it was nessecary... but surely even Frosts life has some value." She reasoned, "I'm not used to doing that... I don't think I ever want to get used to it." She flashed him a sad smile. "Again, sorry. Don't let me get you down. We saved the world after all..." She said with a nervous chuckle, a little forced but it would help let him know she wasn't completely down. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."
As if right on cue, Arctico's body began to glow with a light blue hue that formed around him, this was an unusual feature for even Arctico to seemingly perform, however, unbeknownst to everyone else but Arctico, it wasn't the Arcosian who was healing himself, but it was an energy from a seemingly remote location that had been healing Arctico's broken down body. As the hue began to heal all of his wounds, starting with the broken bones, the flesh wounds, and then the Internal Injuries and Bleeding within his body, and the first word he silently uttered "I-i'm sorry..." Arctico weakly said, opening his eyes weakly as he turned to look at Julie "Sorry Julie, I didn't mean to have you feel that much pain over me, I shouldn't have jumped into the fight without thinking." Arctico admitted.
"You're... Okay?" She asked, now somewhat relieved. She paused, awkward and embarased. "I'm the one that should be sorry. I insulted you and sent you to your near death. I should have at least made sure to back you up when you attacked Frost but..." She paused. "I was too stubborn and I still thought you were like the others of your kind in the PTO. I misjudged you... and it nearly cost you your life. I'm so sorry for that."

So he does have a spine after all... She thought to herself as she slammed a PTO's face into her knee, before phasing through him to blast both his buddies. I guess he just needed the old fashioned Green Lantern smack on the Ass. Before she could consider whether or not she had misjudged him, she found Shizuo talking to her. She created a tendril of energy which she used to slam into a group of PTO goons before she answered. "He is stronger... Though I think we should at least give Arty a chance." She then paused. "The names Julie. And just let me know if he's in trouble. I should be able to delay Frost for long enough for Alex to heal." She chuckled as she created a large thrashing tentacled beast construct with her ring, having it do some of the fighting for her. "Idiot thought throwing a Kryptonian into a sun was a good idea."
"What, seriously? That's where he threw Alex? Wow, and I thought he was at least a little intelligent." Shizuo shot more soldiers while he talked. "So Julie, this might be a weird question, but I've got this ability. It lets me absorb forms of energy and use them myself. Do you think I could sample some of that lantern energy you have there?" Weird question, for sure, but it wasn't unreasonable in Shizuo's opinion.Charmera wrote:Kirana
Kirana paused. "There is one guy I know from back when I came to this planet last." She said. "Well, know is a strong word. We met once. I'm not even that sure he'd remember me. I was still with the-" She chocked on her words as she felt the regular numbing pain of Patience in her mind. Naughty fleshbag, the Wardens don't exist, remember? She grunted slightly in pain. "Nevermind. His name is Max. He might be helpful, though I'm not sure exactly."
"We just need to head to the Kingdom of Ur..."
"Ur... I don't know where that is. You're going to have to tell me." Sayaku picked Kirana up, again, and started flying south not really thinking about it. "I've got a phone. You could... call ahead? It's in my backpack, if you can reach it."
Kirana sighed as she was carried, but didn't put up too much of a fuss. She was still weakened from the fight. "It's an island in the North Atlantic. I don't imagine finding it will be too difficult." She responded. She carefully reached for his backpack, pain going through her arms as she did so and she grabbed the phone. She paused before she dialled. "Do you think we'll see her again?" She asked.
