Maxbot 43-F
The Conquest of Subterranea
Part One

One of the many stand-ins for the Mad King of Ur, his robot legions knowing no equal on Earth and beyond - save for the Celestial Army, but that was only at later classes, this particular Maxbot was charged with overseeing the running of the Kingdom in Maxwell's absences, first to Namek, and then to Greece. Like all Maxbots after the C-classification, he retained a synthetic copy of Max Morningstar's brain built from the quark on up, and biologically, it was identical to the Mad King - though some major adjustments were kept as safeguards that were lessened as the alphabet series continued on. This Maxbot served with distinct purpose and had a clean track record - all of his advisors and foreign dignitaries not realising for a second that they discussed the smaller things in life with a robot.

But, with such responsibility, came the ability to make decisions, and sometimes, his hand must be forced. This is one of the times his hands are plunged into action by forces far above his finite, minute control, and without aid from the real Mad Max, Maxbot 43-F must face these trials alone. For deep below in the cellars of the Kingdom of Ur, even below the massive tunnels, caverns, and fortresses built into solid rock that the Mad King called home, the forces of an angry, vengeful kingdom were staging their attack. You see, these tunnels were not built by Mad Max, oh no, that would take decades of work even with superpowered laborers. The fortress below the sea was taken, by force, from the Kingdom of Subterrania after Maxwell discovered it as an outpost to eavesdrop on the nation.

A brief scuffle and an uneasy peace followed as Maxwell renovated the caverns into a modern-looking facility fit for a King, and holding enough space to almost fit all of Ur within it should the need ever arise. Despite the tense peace, revanchism for the stolen land by the Subterraneans was reaching a boiling point, and their own King, a nuclear engineer turned blind who goes by the name Mole Man as well as Mole-King, sought to capitalize on this outrage and re-assert his kingdom's dominance over the realms of the underworld. As each Maxbot possessed a synthetic version of Mad Max's power of Energy Absorption, the stand-in felt and tracked the energies of an underground army as it amassed below his glorious kingdom.

The false Mad King bided his time and used it to think, rather than meet the forces immediately to keep his element of surprise as a ready option, but as the Subterranean Army grew larger, he found that not having an immediate force to contain their advance as soon as they breach through the walls would be a folly. The Subterraneans would be at Ur's doorsteps within the hour if no sizable force could meet them if they advance, so reluctantly, the Mad King stand-in ordered partial mobilization of the citizenry and activation of several A-series Maxbots, sending them below to the expected breach points.

Maxbot 43-F was enjoying a cold glass of ice tea with a British emissary, much to the said diplomat's shock and horror, when a slight tremor was felt, followed by another, and another. Setting the glass on a nearby table, the sophisticated robot ushered the man out, the next tremor knocking over his ice tea and causing him to stumble for a second. The Subterraneans have made their move, and deep below the surface, miles and miles separating them, a small, dwarfish man hopped forth from an explosion hole and gently set foot on the metallic floor, visibly disgusted at the sensation. "That bastard ruined the beautiful caverns. Minions, bring me his hide so that I may encase him in metal and see if he enjoys the sensation."

The Mole Man swung his head side to side, as if he was looking around despite his blindness, and cracked a smile. "Looks like we have some company." He stated, gripping harder on his staff and lowering his protective glasses just briefly - revealing his eyes to not be the blank stares characteristic of the Mole-King, but were replaced with a colorful, changing iris and light speckles swirling around his eye ball. It seems like the King of the Underground had found a new power deep in the vast caverns that criss-crossed the Earth's crust, lost to time and to humanity for centuries.

Jamal rushed Ruby and threw several punches at her, which she blocked and deflected effortlessly. Ruby then threw a punch and Jamal ducked beneath it, spinning and attempting to sweep her at her feet. She jumped over the sweep easily and was met with D'Vorah charging at her and grabbing her at by her arms. D'Vorah then spit out a green liquid substance aimed at Ruby's head. Ruby shifted her head to the side and avoided the substance, which easily burned through the trees outside of the radius of the crater and showed no signs of stopping.

Ruby then headbutt D'Vorah, which caused her to loosen her grip. As the two landed, Ruby grabbed D'Vorah by the back of her head and brought her head down onto her knee. Ruby then delivered a swift kick aimed at D'Vorah's head. The kick missed as Jamal pulled D'Vorah back by manipulating gravity and fired a continuous beam of energy at Ruby. D'Vorah began recovering from the knee to her head as he started ramping up the output to the point where it could destroy the entire a whole continent.

Suddenly a hand reached out of the beam and grabbed Jamal by the throat. His hands instinctively went to his throat to try to pry away her hand. D'Vorah, who was kneeling next to Jamal, hissed and attacked Ruby with her pincer. Ruby simply threw Jamal in front of her causing the pincer to pierce through Jamal's right shoulder. Jamal howled in pain and D'Vorah began shouting "Jam-!" before getting kicked in the face by Ruby.

D'Vorah was sent sprawling backwards across the ground. She brought herself to a stop only to look up and see Ruby prepare to punch Jamal in the face. Before she could react and before the punch could connect, Jamal sent out a powerful repulsive force that separated the two, allowing it to send him flying back at D'Vorah while Ruby was sent in the opposite direction.

D'Vorah caught Jamal and knelt down next to him as he fell to his knees in pain. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-!" she said, worried.

"I'm fine. Why the hell is it always the shoulder?" Jamal said in a half joking manner. D'Vorah ignored the comment and shoved the claw of her index finger into the wound on his right shoulder. "AGH!" he shouted in pain. "What the hell was that f-" he began before the pain subsided and he regained the function of his right arm again.

"I neutralized the venom. The wound should start closing soon as well." D'Vorah stated. Suddenly she looked in the direction opposite of them and Jamal followed her eyes to see Ruby emerging from the forest she was thrusted into, without a single scratch on her.

"Oh come on..." Jamal sighed. "Worldmind, you could start helping us with some suggestions anyday now."

"[Perfect time for you to ask. I've just detected a signal that has origins outside of the planet's atmosphere. The signal is directly linked with our opponent.]"

"So basically she's being controlled." Jamal concluded.

"[It would appear so, yes. I will work on finding a way to disrupt the signal.]"

Ruby then began running at the two of them. "Make it quick!" Jamal said as he stood up, his arm pretty much healed at this point. "D'Vorah give us some cover!"

D'Vorah's abdomen then opened up and hundreds of insects emerged out of her body, flying at Ruby and causing her to pause as she tried to swat them away. She wouldn't have payed them any mind if they had been normal insects, but these insects weren't any normal insects. They could eat through flesh and bone with ease and they all coated their mandibles with an acidic substance that could burn through steel. If Ruby had been a normal human she would have died in seconds. As it stood, they were merely an annoyance for her. A significant annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Still, it served as enough of a distraction for Jamal to charge her once more, this time with a punch augmented with his gravity abilities. It increased the force behind his punch substantially to the point where it might as well have been a planet hitting Ruby. Ruby recoiled back as the punch connected with her chin. Jamal could tell that she was affected, and he continued the assault, punching her repeatedly over and over. Jamal then attempted to deliver an uppercut and Ruby shifted her body backwards, dodging it. She then countered with a punch of her own, which once again sent Jamal backwards.

Jamal grinned and reached out his hand, increasing the gravity around Ruby by several hundred times. He increased it continuously as she fought against the weight. D'Vorah, who had circled around Ruby, attacked with her four pincers. Suddenly a field of electricity emerged from Ruby and struck out through D'Vorah like a bolt of lightning. She screamed, though her screams were drowned out by the crackling of the electricity. Jamal rushed forward and circled around Ruby, grabbing D'Vorah and returning to her original spot. By the time he returned with her, he had absorbed the electricity, though she was unconscious.

Unfortunately, that meant that Ruby was released from the prison of gravity. As Ruby began approaching again, Jamal said, "Worldmind, how's that whole signal disruption thing going?"

"[I am nearly there. This signal is fascinating.]"

"I'm glad you're finding enjoyment out of that." Jamal sarcastically responded. He fired a blast of energy at Ruby. He didn't expect it to defeat her or anything, just keep her at bay long enough. A few seconds later, D'Vorah woke up and groaned as she held her head. Jamal looked down at her. "Good, you're awake. We just need to hold out a little longer. We hit her both at the same time." D'Vorah nodded and Jamal stopped his attack. The two then rushed her again, throwing hundreds of punches a second between them.

Ruby blocked the attacks for a couple of seconds and then discharged electricity once more. However, Jamal easily absorbed the blast and simply used it's energy to supplement a blast of his own. Ruby deflect the blast and then saw that Jamal was several feet farther back than he was previously. She took a step forward and was about to charge at him when she suddenly jumped backwards. Just as Jamal raised his arm to release another blast as a feint, an arm emerged from where her right leg previously was.

Ruby reached down and grabbed the arm, pulling D'Vorah from underneath the ground. Ruby then broke her arm and then kicked her leg and broke it as well. Before she could even scream, Ruby then flung her to Jamal. Jamal caught D'Vorah and before he could retaliate, Ruby was already upon them. She grabbed them both by their face and slammed them into the ground creating a shockwave that could be felt for dozens of miles. She then stood over Jamal, seeing him as the more dangerous threat at the moment. Ruby summoned her gauntlets and sent a powerful punch at him. He managed to get up his shields in time to tank most of the force, but even then the power behind it was more than enough to shake half of the planet.

Ruby then punched him a second time. Then a third, each time his shield weakening every time. At this point his shield couldn't last any longer. Ruby launched a final blow but stopped mere centimeters from his face. Jamal sighed in relief as he crawled from underneath Ruby, who was frozen in place like a statue. "Good job, Worldmind." Suddenly Jamal heard a nasty cracking noise and looked over a D'Vorah. He rushed over to her and knelt down next to her. "How is it?" he said, looking at the arm and leg that were broken.

"It's not that bad. My body is already recovering." D'Vorah glanced at Ruby. "So, what do we do about her?"

"I have no idea." Suddenly, Ruby's gauntlets started glowing and they dematerialized. "Worldmind, what's happening?" She then stood erect and started approaching Jamal and D'Vorah, which prompted Jamal to enter a combative stance. Ruby simply stopped in her tracks and stared blankly at the two of them.

"[Cutting off the signal appears to have 'reset' her, so to speak.]"

"Hello." Ruby suddenly said in a sort of monotone British-like accent.

Jamal facepalmed. "Not another one."
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

A single punch knocked one out as she appeared in front of them. Roughly four of them left now. A ring blast dealt with another two as it sent them hurtling into the ground. The last two aimed at her, firing their energy attacks and hitting nothing but air as she phased through them. She used her ring to create a hammer, tossing it into the minion so he hit his buddy and sent them both to the floor. She noted that this was just a few of the stragglers of the main force, and they seemed quite a bit stronger. She frowned, quickly putting on some green energy shackles onto the unconscious PTO members she had left.

She looked over to the Frost fight, noticing Artico standing in dazed shock. "By Oa's fucking light what the hell are you doing?" She telepathically said, before noticing a good amount of Frosts men had noticed her and were now converging on her position. "Hoo boy. Thats a lot of people..." She muttered. "Stronger than the ones I fought too... I should probably make bigger cuffs in that case."

Petrification by Fear

Falling to his knees, Arctico watched as Alexander continued to engage Frost without heed or relent, something that caused Arctico to question Alexander's sanity "Why does he continue to fight, Frost can't be defeated by any means, his power is incalculable, and I know Frost is holding back a decent part of his energy, when he goes to full power, we'll all be killed either way..." Arctico said within his mind, his will to fight having been diminished by the sheer fear of Frost's rage and anger towards the people of Earth, himself, and even Alexander "His power is too much, he's the most powerful Arcosian that anyone could ever face, no one has defeated him before nor will he be defeated here, we are going to die!"

"Better question is why you're not fighting!" Julie telepathicly shouted at the Arcosian, unbelievably pissed at his sheer cowardice. As she fought the grunts she berated Artico mentally. Fear was understandable, and sometimes necessary, but Julie couldn't help but find this level of cowardice abhorrent. She mentally laughed. "I had you pegged for a coward the moment we met. The only reason you joined with Alex was because he was stronger than you. And now all you're doing is pissing yourself while Frost stands open and unguarded. This would be the best opportunity to attack but you're just sitting there, staining your pants like a baby."

"Is the only time you're willing to fight when you're sure your opponent is weaker than you? Because that would not surprise me at all. And now that you're fighting someone stronger you want to call for mother?" She sighed "Well momma isn't coming to change your diapers. Grow up and put on some big boy pants or so help me Oa I will kick your ass until you can't shit yourself anymore!"

Augustin Gediminid/White Prince

The first thing that Augustin noticed after entering his laboratory was a notice in his armor that someone was calling on his front door, back in his main estate in London. Oh, of course. Unfortunately, he hasn't yet placed security cameras there, so he couldn't see who was there. So, he simply pushed a button on the wall and told his house to send a recorded message to the people there. "Excuse me, but I am currently either not at home or busy. Please come again or call me sometime later" would be told to them in Augustin's voice. He was busy right now, after all. And he needed to work on Lisa, with zero distractions.

The Prince placed the android's still functioning, but non-responsive body on the main, glass-like workbench, and it started shining in a light blue color, indicating that it was scanning the body and searching for what to fix. Soon, it brought a hologram with a complete analysis of the subject. It showed some interesting details, actually. The design was what caught his attention, though... It was a distinct one, and one he felt like he recognized a bit... Maybe it's just his mind deja-vuing or something. Well, someday he'll find out. I hope.

Slowly removing the plating from the back, Augustin took a deeper look at the insides, and what was damaged, since the scan didn't say much. After some checking, it could be concluded that, luckily, the damage was not that big. It's mainly her programming itself that shut her off, most likely. Thankfully, the energy modules were still intact, just disconnected from the system and fairly damaged. It won't take that long to fix it, so at the same time, he placed his hand on a button at the side of the workbench and spoke out:

"Lab, bring me the VAR module." We'll need it. It was a base module for power armor, much like his own. He already had a certain degree of experience in making outside armor, let's see if he can engineer it to work in the inside. He already had a plan on how this upgrade will work - taking quite a lot of inspiration from the Super Saiyan transformation - no, Lisa won't become a blonde super-ape with a tendency for shouting, though that would be kinda sexy, I guess - more around the whole turning it on and off thing. After all, he doesn't want to ruin her looks.

At this time, he had already finished fixing what had been broken, though he did not mend back the last wire - he didn't want to wake her up just yet. After all, it won't be as easy to dissect and upgrade her while she is there with her eyes open. Suddenly, a large swarm of nano-bots quickly walked out of a tube in his workbench and formed a set of armor next to Lisa. Augustin immediately pushed a button and it disassembled. He needed to form what he wanted by himself. And possibly add some new abilities as well. Lisa's a spatial manipulator, right? We should add something that supplements that...

It took quite a few hours to assemble everything, but soon, it was all finished. He even added some programming to Lisa's brain to work as a switch. If she thinks about powering up or entering the super form, the nanobots inside of her will come out and form her super form. I guess that's basically it. Lisa is fixed up and even better than before. Now to mend the last wire and voila - everything is complete.

"Lisa, can you hear me?" Augustin said to the android girl and waved his hand in front of her eyes, hoping that the sensors will pick it up. "If you're okay, say something!" If this fails, he'll get to pinching.

Lisa was silent for a moment, but then her systems came on, one by one. She sat up slightly, scanning the room quickly, finding that she was in Augustin’s Lab. She looked over to Augustin, pausing. “Yes… I can hear you.” She replied, then paused once more. “Is Lucein alright?” She asked. “He was fighting that monster earlier, but it didn’t seem like he was winning.” She commented before looking down at her hands. She felt… different… Systems diagnostics revealed several new systems and applications. “What… happened while I was…” She stopped. “…Asleep?” she used, lacking a better word. She couldn’t really sleep, but she supposed that was a close as she could get. Though she’d like to be able to dream, she knew it was impossible.

Arctico's Atonement

Arctico's eyes widened in both rage and shock, he couldn't believe what had just been said to him, to be called a coward was the ultimate insult to an Arcosian, not only did it damage his pride, but it damaged the honor he and his race held and even though he was fighting against his uncle, Arctico believed himself to be the pure hearted amongst all the Arcosians in the known Universe. Tightening his fists in anger, Arctico's eyes darkened with anger "How dare you insult my courage, and my honor, I am the only pure hearted Arcosian that this Universe has ever known! Unlike Frieza, Cooler, King Cold, and now Lord Frost, I fight to restore the true honor of my race, a people whose honor has been besmirched by trash like Frost!" While this happened, Arctico's form began to glow orange as if he had absorbed a Supernova, cracks also began to appear around his form, Arctico was beginning a unconscious transformation that not even he had known about.

"I will be damned if I will have my honor being called into question, my pride being tested, and to be called a cowards, I have never been a coward-" Arctico's aura flared to life, an extremely dark shade of purple beginning to envelop his body as his rage was calling forth a power that had long been suppressed from his body "Nor will I EVER be a coward, I am the one who will restore the honor of my race and instill myself as the one who saved the eternally damned pride of the Arcosians!!!!!" Arctico screamed.

Arctico Transforms: A Power Unkempt Finally Reveals Itself!

At his final statement, Arctico let out a massive, ear piercing scream that had nearly broken the sound barrier itself as his aura shot up into the heavens, piercing its untouched veil as the red cracks around his body started multiplying by the tens, his power taking a massive increase that shot even above 5th Form Cooler's own power, a power that had lied dormant within Arctico after achieving the Super Evolution Form, but this power was nowhere near godly, rather it was a form of energy that had been suppressed within Arctico's body even without his own knowledge "HAAAA!!!!!" Arctico yelled as an extremely bright barrier formed around Arctico, this light beginning to illuminate the battlefield itself with blinding light matching that of the sun itself.

This rising power caused King Frost to turn towards the epicenter of this massive power increase "Hm?" Frost started, not even trying to shield his eyes from the light, considering that even he was still more powerful than this rising power level, knowing it was his nephew Arctico who had regained the courage to try and fight again "Seems that my fledgling nephew is trying to oppose me as before, well then, scum will never learn even if they face my wrath!" Frost exclaimed with disgust, firing a Full Power Death Beam from his fingertips directly to the Sphere that contained Arctico's body.

Just as the Full Power Death Beam had been fired, the Light Barrier shattered into a million of pieces, dissolving around the brightened form of Arctico, his new form still hidden by the remaining light that illuminated his form. As the Death Beam approached at rapid speed, Arctico raised a single finger towards the oncoming Death Beam, firing his own version of the Full Power Death Beam, a beam that was the coloration of a deep, scarlet red. Within sheer moments of firing the Death Beam, In an amazing turn of events, the two Death Beams were equal in power, causing the both of them to explode, creating a small crater around the epicenter of the blast, as this had happened, the light that illuminated Arctico had dissipated, revealing his form, his body had been altered significantly, his First Ascended Form having finally revealed itself to himself and all other around him.

Arctico slowly brought his finger down before he began to observe the modifications to his body, the ends of his torso armor had been replaced with two giant spikes, his tail had been covered by segments of bone like apparatuses that resembled a human spine, and his leg guards having been equipped with two spikes by the ankle as well. Arctico stared on, no expression being present within his eyes as he continued to inspect himself "Huh, so this is the power that has been lying dormant within myself, although I am not used to the modifications, I'll eventually get used to the feeling." Arctico said to himself. However, he could not distract himself with the modifications, King Frost had warped towards him, his fist coming rapidly to meet his face, Arctico quickly reacted to the attack, bringing his fist to connect with Frost's own.

The resulting shockwave didn't only create a medium sized crater around the two opponents, but it created a massive gust of wind rivaling even that of a Category 4 Hurricane, making it appear as If the two opponents were on the same page, this was not the point considering that due to Arctico's inexperience of his Ascended Form was beginning to slowly drain his power, and this drain was beginning to slowly and subtly increase with efficiency. "It seems you finally get the guts to oppose your own uncle, although you already dug your own grave when you sided with these earthlings, you've failed me and you've failed the Arcosian Race." Frost taunted, an evil smirk on his face as the tension between the two fists caused Bio-Electricity to spark around the two.

Although this taunt was effective to hurt Arctico's pride even more, It caused his anger to rise exponentially "It was YOU, Cooler, Frieza, and King Cold who have betrayed our race, your actions have not only damaged the respect of our race, but it has caused even members of our species to be labeled as cold blooded killers." Arctico growled, referring to Amanda Waller and Nick Fury's remarks towards Arctico personally "Personally, I would have wanted to kill the dirty apes responsible for this labeling, I've found that It was the actions of the Planet Trade Organization and its leaders that have done this, so i've made an atonement for myself-"

Arctico's aura began to propel his body forward, pushing himself and Frost back towards the opposite end of the crater. "- When you have died, I will destroy the Planet Trade Organization piece by piece, brick by brick, with such efficiency and ruthlessness that it will make Nick Fury and Amanda Waller's actions seem like mere child's play!" This caused Frost to laugh as he kicked Arctico with his foot, the younger Arcosian avoiding this kick as he climbed up into the sky "Well how about you prove this to me by ending my life you insignificant fool, before I blow this planet to smithereens!" Frost grunted, taking off at full speed to his Nephew with deadly intent.

Rebecca Phillips/The Jester-20 Yrs-Gotham City

The rest of the date went as well as holding a entire building hostage could go. we were on our way out as I was greeted by the cool air of the early morning. Although having been up for about twelve hours now, I was not all that tired. And so we headed back to the Carnival. "You know, I must admit I am surprised we have not encountered any of the native Gotham wild life." I said as I began flapping my arms in a bat like motion. "They say the native bats here are quite large, hideous too I am sure." I giggled as we returned to what was becoming our home in the Carnival. Our stomachs full from the meal earlier. But as I considered what we would need, I knew that we would need some more muscle. "you know Queensy, we could really use some hired help around this place. It is not lady like to do the heavy lifting ourselves ya know." I added. "Perhaps we could convince one of the local gangs around here to give us a hand?" I suggested. "We will need some more firepower to take on the Bats, but I can make use of anything in a pinch. Knives, explosives and gasoline all work nicely but having some real firepower behind you just feels reassuring." I really wanted to make sure we had enough to accomplish whatever we set out for.

I then turned to Queen. Knowing that she has been in the mad world longer than me and guessing she has been on the other side of the law far longer than I also. So, I should turn to ask her opinion on how she wants to proceed. "So my dear Queen, do you have any resources you have acquired? What do you think we should target first or try to secure?" I then rolled my head. "I am normally not one for plans, things are so much more exciting and fun when you just go with the joke. But, I suppose that is why you are here right?" I then gave a crazed grin. "To make sure I dont blow myself up in the process of putting on a show." I mused, as I found a dusty chair and sat myself down upon it.

I then turned my cane over in my hands.

"Yeah, I do have this. But I have a feeling I will need some knives, guns, bombs and lots of flammables. I am a little on the low side of cash as well. We could always take a bank and purchase what we need. Or just steal it directly. Either way should be fun." I thought out loud.

I then finally locked my eyes with Queen while resting my head in my hand.
"So, how will we proceed with the show my Queen?"

Corinna Erastos-2,187 Yrs-Meditation Room

I grabbed on to the man as instructed as we were transported to a large room in which I felt it was too bright. Lined along the walls were a array of devices and trinkets which were alien to me. I must have seemed quite out of place here, the lights everywhere and cutting edge inventions caught my attention. I approached a device and began to marvel at the technology. Finally beginning to understand how Ur has become such a powerhouse in the world today. I then began to lose myself in thinking, although I was thinking out loud as I spoke to Max. "I believe I am finally understanding the significance of you kingdom. Living for so long and seeing so many nations rise and fall I have become detached from world affairs, as they seem so fleeting to me." I said, as I put the device down. I then laughed to myself. "The world really has changed in two thousand years." I said as I began to analyze other devices.

"In my day, Sparta was far past it's era as a Superpower in our world. We were declining and Rome was on the rise. The greeks were divided, as they have been since the dawn of time. And weary from battling among themselves, we were unable to effectively resist the Roman Legions. Although, like Ur, they were a technology wonder, while we withered away. I had visited Rome as a attache to a Spartan diplomat. While our culture, our history, our very being was dedicated to glory in battle. It was not enough to surpass the superior technology and tactics of the Romans. And so Sparta was doomed to fall into the abyss of history. A footnote of which people pay no mind to." I then turned to him.

"Ares has even offered to bring my people back if I were to succeed in his mission. I had believed that to be my purpose. But to be honest, I do not believe..." I then closed my eyes, remembering my days before my immortality. "My people would not fit in this modern world. We have truly become obsolete, meta human and mutants aside. A world where technology is the law, and that is the measure of power, rather than the defense of a shield or a resolve of a spear. Now, cities can be blasted into nothing more than a memory with a push of a button. Modern firearms can kill a man from miles, and supers can wipe out entire legions with a thought." I then walked over to the center of the room.

"There is no place for the Spartans in the world of today. A people defined by honor, physical capability and courage in battle. Such notions have died off. I suppose it is better for my people to remain in the past." I commented, sliding my hand across the smooth surface of one of the displays. My mind then flashed back to why we are here in the first place.

"That is right, instead of rambling I should be training you." I then turned to him, trying to redirect the conversation. "So, where is the meditation room you were describing to me. We should start immediately, three days will pass quickly. I should know, I have seen too many days go." I smiled at my rather bad joke. Awaiting to be shown to the room we will be using.

The Silver Queen paused, thinking. They couldn't go after any of the more famous costumed individuals of Gotham just yet. They were going to need resources. Her own gang was not all that large, and she wasn't sure how many of them she could safely contact after the incident with Iceman and the police. "We could use some cash. Taking things is all fine and good, but if we're going to convince people to work for us, they'll want money. Money will entice them, while fear and out lovable personalities will convince them to stay." She said with a smile.

"I know I said Bank Robberies are hardly fun, but if you are to be initiated into the criminal world, I suppose you'll have to do one. It's practically mandatory for people like us." She joked. "Though, I'd rather not take hostages if we don't have to."

"Then, we can head to one of the local gangs... and recruit them... "convince" them if necessary. Though there's also supposedly a new guy in town from what I've heard."

The Vannis Family makes its way to the top of the food chain in Gotham. Sure, problems like heroes still appearing. But on the other side, their illegal arms trading flourished, and made its way to their hands, with the likes of assault rifles, and sub-machine guns. To even upping their power so that no one can attack their bases and businesses, military-grade weaponry and equipments are needed.

But that's another problem they need to taken care of, and not tonight. Vannis Family's henchmen made its way to the business of Maroni Family. One of their business places, is a laundering money business, behind what they think is a daycare center. It's night, no one's there but it's obvious there are guards and the officials. 30 men armed with assault rifles, sub-machine guns, shotguns, and pistols, arrive in 7 cars.

The battle was over. Fortunately, there is almost no battle, as the business itself surrendering themselves, as they know that Vannis is stronger than Maroni, and to fight them is a suicide. Fortunately they are smart. Unfortunately not with the Maroni himself. Therefore they should be vanquished. But that's going to be another day.

Report came of an unidentified stranger flew straight to a building. But it's not Vannis' concern for now and thus, they went home.

"Damn it!" Sayaku cursed. "Open the door you son of a bitch!" Prince wasn't answering, and the stupid automated message didn't tell him anything. "Kirana... you wouldn't know anywhere we could go to be 'safe,' do you?"

So he does have a spine after all... She thought to herself as she slammed a PTO's face into her knee, before phasing through him to blast both his buddies. I guess he just needed the old fashioned Green Lantern smack on the Ass. Before she could consider whether or not she had misjudged him, she found Shizuo talking to her. She chuckled as she created a large thrashing tentacled beast construct with her ring, having it do some of the fighting for her. "Idiot thought throwing a Kryptonian into a sun was a good idea."

"So Julie, this might be a weird question, but I've got this ability. It lets me absorb forms of energy and use them myself. Do you think I could sample some of that lantern energy you have there?" Weird question, for sure, but it wasn't unreasonable in Shizuo's opinion.

The Republic of Atria wrote:Alex shook his head trying to shake off the shell shock. Frost wasn't messing around. Which meant he needed to end this as soon as he could. He flew at Frost with speed that made him impossible for Frost to see and slammed into him and smashed them both against the ground, only ot have what would look like to an outside observer as a tornado. Alex was moving with such speed and force, spinning around Frost and throwing literally hundreds of blows at his face as he could. Lightning struck the surrounding area, the winds knocked over poorly held up rock formations and it sounded akin to a bunch of jets getting ready to take off.

To top it all off, Alex was firing rapid bursts of his heat vision while circling Frost, burning him over every part of his body. Frost however was in quite a bit of pain, and Alex was moving quite quickly, but that sure wasn't going to stop him. He bit his teeth and with as much effort as he could muster, grabbed Alex by his throat. His mask was beaten off, he was covered in burn lines from Alex's heat vision and was bleeding, but other than that, he was pretty much fine. "I would be lying if I said I expected this. You are one of the most powerful warriors I have ever faced. Take solace in that fact to your grave." Frost said and hit Alex with an uppercut that sent him into the sky, before following it up with a powerful blast that seemingly not only knocked Alex well away from Earth, but towards the sun. A fitting demise in Frost's mind as it was how Alex claimed to kill Cooler. To top it off, Alex's power level was, effectively, zero.

However this wasn't the case. Alex had been in his healing coma before, and being close to the sun would only amplify the speed needed to recover. "Now then. Is there anyone else left to fight before I destroy this mudball of a planet?" He asked and floated up into the air.

Hiroshi tired to sit still for the outlander, bit the longer he sat there and felt the battle to the west, he couldn't sit still and allow whoever was fighting to do this all alone. Finally, Hiroshi could sit no longer, and stood up quickly, beginning to gain speed as he jogged, his jog becoming a sprint as he turned to the Outlander.

"I'm sorry, but I've got a Acrosian to fight, even in this shape, you've seemed to replenish my energy enough, and healed the whole in my forearm, that's gonna have to do for now." He said, summoning his aira, golden flames lapping at the cracked cement before he rocketed off into the sky.

////////////

'Am I ready to face down this guy? I've never fought anyone of this magnitude before.' Unconsciously he tucked his pinky beneath his thumb. He'd always used the Jade Talon to cut anything from paper to granite, and had never questioned its origins. This technique was meant to kill people, rip them to shreds before him. Sighing deeply, he set his jaw, streaking off towards the battlefield. Canceling his aira, the Saiyan dropped down in front of the Acrosian.

"Leave. I don't want to kill you, but if I must, I won't regret doing it in the name of protecting this planet." Sliding his left foot back, he stuck his hand out, forming a claw with his right, and keeping his left hand by his hip so he could use the Jade Talon when he needed it, tensing his muscles, he readied his body for use of the Kaioken at a moments notice, steadying his breathing before the demon. His tattered Gi fluttered gently in the wind, his raven locks flowing with the push and pull of the wind, his Violet eyes set defiantly before his foe. A Saiyan ready to face his death.

Frost chuckled, covering his smirk with a hand. This boy was in shambles. Torn clothing, burns, lacerations and bruises dotted his lean form, and a bite mark? It was as if someone had taken a chunk out of his face, he'd applaud the boys pain tolerance, but Frost wanted to test just how much the boy could handle before he handed out simple compliments.

"And who are you to challenge me? The one before you was mcuh stronger, and yet you seem confident enough to face me down? Is it a Saiyan thing to face your death so openly."

"I know I can beat you. Your nothing but a murderer, who kills and tortures for his own amusement! A selfish child with power you don't even deserve! No matter what happens here today, there will always be another ready to face you down! BECAUSE YOU CANNOT KILL WAHT I AM!" A massive shock wave shook the landscape as Hiroshi pushed his Kaioken to tenfold, a blood red aira sorrounding his form, burning away the grass around him, the ground cratering beneath him.

" Hmm, your just like any other hero I've faced, and I'll enjoy destroying your precious hope little by little. Either way, your much weaker then my previous opponent, What do you intend to do hmm?'

Golden energies swirled around him as Hiroshi tensed himself. Mixed in with his anger, anger and grief at himself from his own failures, and fury for the monster before him who had so carelessly killed many before, and would gladly do the same to this planet , Hiroshi felt something rise up from the depths of his power. He'd been near death so many times, it'd never occurred to him that his body would harness that suffering and transform it into something else.

Immediately lightning rolled over his body before the ground beneath him cratered outward, spreading across the floor. Golden fire lit through the air, washing away the flames smothering burning around him. Rocky spires buckled, and the dust around them washed up into the air, before being blasted away. The sky grew black as lighting crackled across it, striking close to the pair. A golden light shone in all directions, bursting out of Hiroshi's body itself, piercing through the blackening clouds.

There was something just beyond his power, something Hiroshi wanted to reach out and grab, but at the last moment, he couldn't. It felt as if something was beyond just being an Super Saiyan, but he couldn't reach it. It slipped from his fingers just before he could grasp it, if only because his mind was pulled from all the power swirling around him, to the apparent power gap between Frost and himself. Cursing himself, but none the less ready to face down the beast, he tensed himself.

What do I intend to do?

"Try."

Emerald eyes steeled, Hiroshi burst off, his knuckles smashing across the Acrosians face, the flesh of his cheek being shoved violently agaisnt his cheek, Hiroshi's midn not registering his knuckles splitting open as he burst off after the flying Acrosian.

Phasing behind the Frost demon, he speared out his heel driving it home, flipping away as a beams filled his previous location, a afterimage fading before him. Rocketing at the Acrosian, Hiroshi drove a palm home against Frost's abdomen, the pressure exerted folding the beats over, sending the beats skidding, but no far enough for Hiroshis liking. Hiroshi followed after him, blows smacking agaisnt each other as they danced across the battlefield, the Halfing using several fighting techniques to throw off his opponent, bounding over a kick to spear his boot into the demons stomach, following with a backhand and several lesser blows against the Frost demons bruised and abused midsection.

"Impressive, you've managed a few blows, I can honestly say it's more than I expected from you Saiyan."

He said nothing, never leaving his fighting stance, giving no response as he slid his foot back, extending his clawed hand, golden flames lapping at the ground. Growling, the Frost demon burst off, the Halflign pirouetteing around his claws, bicycle kicking Frost away, sliding low to release a azure blast at his chest, an explosion rocking their rocky area, smoke obscuring Hiroshi's vision. But both knew where the other was, both keeping a conscious marker of where their opponent was.

"Getting cold- ACK!" bile filled the Halfling south as he stumbled forward, a knee waiting for him, striking his chin and sending him stumbling, Hiroshi's vision filled with stars as a fist whipped his face around, sending him skidding with its power. Hiroshi spit a wad of blood and spitlre form his mouth as he dove at the demon, swiping an elbow across his jaw, dodging a fist and driving home a fist agaisnt the biogem on Frosts chest, An elbow smashed across his chin as the demon gave a small wheeze. Hiroshi back flipped away, landing in a crouch, unable to stop the smile that spread across his features.

"What was that boy? You don't seriously think you've already won do you? Oh no no no, we've yet to begin your end." Hiroshi's aira grew wider as he cupped his hands agaisnt his forehead. Frost raised an eyebrow quizzically, just what was this boy doing?

"MASENKOOOOOO-HA!" Any unanswered questions were answered as a freight train fo golden energy shot forth from the Halflings hands, gritting his teeth, the Frost demon clasped his hads together, swinging hard, smacking the beam away into the horizon, the subsequent explosion and shockwaves mattering little to the dueling warriors.

The smoke did better then Hiroshi expected to hide his attack, three long emerald claws swiping through the cloud, ripping across Frosts chest, exploding as they slid into a spire, obsecuring his opponent.

Howling, the Saiyan charged forward, a Ki charged hand cocked back as he sprinted through the cloud, only to recieve one of the biggest shocks of the day. Frost sat there with an almost bored expression on his face, three thin almost paper cut lines across his chest, a stray trickle of blood dripping from the middle one.

"Are you done? Because I know I am!" Hiroshi barely saw the blur of motion, not knowing if it was a fist, an elbow, or a knee that shattered his nose, a resounding crack echoing across the battlefield, the follow up blow shattering his jaw and several teeth like a child would break a twig. Spinning around drunkenly, he threw several powerful blasts, blindly guessing where the blur of a Frost demon was. Azure blast detonated against the landscape, scarring its already cracked and broken surface. Frost smirked as he whipped his tail across the Sayans face, sending the disoriented Halfling into his own little crater.

'Have… to get up… must keep fighting!" Hiroshi growled as he shakily stood, a crimson tinted aura burning around his body, he could already feel the insurmountable pain coursing through his veins, what was a little more?

Howling loudly, the flames around him burst to a deep blood red color. Incredible energy burned around him, but then the wall of aging washed over him like a tsunami. Millions of tiny cuts burst up over his skin, his flesh blistered benath the heat, his eardrums burst and blood poured freely from his ears. Collapsing to his knees, he also let the agony overcome him, but at the last moment he felt it, it was as though a crack appeared in the wall holding back the energy he needed, screaming like a banshee, his body glowing almost completely, gold, he let loose a wild blast of azure energy, the beam washing over the Frost demon, it was as though the whole planet shook with the force exerted.

But the knee that sent the Halfling flying away answered his darkest fears, the demon stilled lived.

Lúxvälik-Taerr had watched the saiyan go into space, puzzled at first by his haste. He had barely noticed the human police that had come up behind him through his thinking. "Freeze!!" They screamed at him, drawing their weapons. There was an expression of fear on every face. Perfect. Now they think I destroyed the city. Just lovely. he grumbled inwardly. He began to float upwards into the air to follow the saiyan, who's name he still had not learned. One could not allow such hastiness when injured in such a way, so it was best if he saw what he was up to. Apparently this harmless gesture prompted the men to retaliate out of terror. Gunshots range out as they opened fire upon him. Outworlder effortlessly stopped the feeble attempts of attack mid flight with a single thought. The bullets clanged to the ground in a symphony of colliding metal. After releasing a pulse of telekinetic energy, not enough to hurt anyone but enough to make them run for cover and stop firing, he flew upward into the sky.

He began to sense a presence. One of extreme power and might. He wondered if this was the one who the saiyan had spoken of. He saw the battle in the distance, and was surprised by how easily the saiyan was defeated. As the saiyan fell, he caught him in the air, unconscious and bloody. He looked to the being before him. He identified it as a frost demon of immense power. He sensed telepathically it's motives, and while it was a vague impression, he learned enough to know that this was not good for this planet. He knew that he did not stand very well against the creature, nor did he believe blunt action was the best course. There were few options in this case however. Silently, he sent signals to the spires he had set around the world in the past few days, just in case drastic action had to be taken. Until then, he would avoid conflict as long as possible.

He had to stall for time, and if necessary resolve the conflict. He generated an aura of tranquility and peace, but I'm reality he began charging his form, modeling it to perform a modified version of photosynthesis to gain energy from the sun. "I am Lúxvalk-Taerr Szúnda'agh, prophet of Waiyäv, explorer of the distant reaches of the universe, seeker of peace. Who are you, and why do you mean this planet harm?"

The Will To Never Give Up

"Well how about you prove this to me by ending my life you insignificant fool, before I blow this planet to smithereens!" Frost grunted, taking off at full speed to his Nephew with deadly intent. Arctico smiled as Frost had flown up to engage him, this allowed Arctico the chance to prove himself and prove that the Arcosians had a chance at redemption, this was not something Arctico could not let go to waste. Arctico formed an energy barrier around himself, the signature Nova Strike technique that had been used by Frieza and went barreling directly towards Frost, but this was no ordinary Nova Strike, Arctico altered to a point that upon contact of a living opponent, the Nova Strike would explode upon contact "You power is beginning to drop steadily, you won't last against my onslaught!" Frost taunted as he fired an energy beam towards Arctico.

This attack was quickly counteracted by Arctico, who fired an energy wave towards the oncoming beam that had been fired by Frost, the resulting clash caused both the energy wave and the energy beam to explode and pick up a decent amount of dust, giving Arctico the cover to attack with the Nova Strike. As he quickly barreled through the dust, Arctico rushed forward, only to be shocked as he was also intercepted by Frost's own Nova Strike, causing energy to pulsate around them as they struggled to overpower each other "I always thought you were a failure, to stand up against your own Uncle and even someone who is far more powerful than yourself, you must be suicidal." Frost pondered openly, wanting to get a reaction out of his nephew.

To his surprize however, a smile formed on Arctico's face as additional energy came pouring out of him "I'm not suicidal, but to see how my race has been the subject of heavy discrimination due to the actions of our family, It is my desire to see that our sins will be cleansed with the blood of those who have wronged the name of our people!" Arctico exclaimed as his Nova Strike barrier exploded, stunning Frost for a second while being pushed a few feet away, this gave Arctico the time to quickly launch an assault upon Frost. Arctico quickly raised his hand up, forming multiple Crusher Balls, he then utilized Rapid Movement to send each Crusher Ball Hurling towards the stunned Frost before he manifested a bigger and sun-looking Crusher Ball, sending it flying at Frost at speeds faster than the previous Crusher Balls.

This action caused Frost's body to be hidden from view by the massive plume of smoke that had been formed, Arctico expected some damage to be done to Frost, knowing that he put a great amount of his energy into the attack, but he would find himself somewhat dissapointed with the result "Well, well-" Frost began as he slowly emerged from the smoke, a smile forming on his face "- Looks like you managed to somewhat hurt me." Frost taunted. Sure enough, there were some wounds and even wounds that managed to draw blood from Frost, but this wasn't enough to really hurt the Arcosian. This caused Arctico to take a step back in shock, there was no way that Frost was unphazed by such an attack, even when he put a good amount of energy into the attack "No, that can't be right, you should be in pain after that attack!" Arctico growled.

This caused Frost to laugh, his nephew actually thought that the Crusher Volcano technique had done anything to him, true that Arctico had managed to draw blood, but it wasn't enough to truly hurt him "True, I do feel somewhat sore from that last attack, but it was only a mere flesh wound to me." Arctico said, dusting himself off with his hands, his aura flaring back to life "Your attack was meaningless because your energy is beginning to drop significantly, you can't last my onslaught further, so why just not give up?" Frost asked, curious at how his nephew Arctico bothered to oppose him.

It was true, Arctico felt his power beginning to decrease at a faster rate and that Frost was just letting Arctico score hits on him just to see the will of his nephew, Arctico chuckled as he slowly rose up, with scrapes around his Bio Armor as he still continued to oppose Frost "I've already told you haven't I?" Arctico began, his aura starting to flare back to life again "I stand against you not only to show my power, but to show the people of the Earth and even the Universe that not all Arcosian's are bad, just that it's the decisions of the Arcosians who want to show off their ruthlessness and their consolidation of the Planet Trade Organization, I want the Universe to see that there is at least one Arcosian who has goodness within his heart-" Arctico then began to walk slowly to Frost, even though his energy was decreasing at an alarming rate "- I want to be that Arcosian who never wants to give up, I'm the Arcosian who show the Universe that there is some good within our people!!!!" Arctico cried out, charging directly towards Frost.

Craig's personal opinion was no, it seemed contradictory to him, but he decided not to comment, in order to not start a debate on ethics.

And he focused his full attention at the game, seeing as the camera zoomed in, revealing the two teams on the football team. Craig stood at the halfway line alongside a teammate with a foot on the ball. The whistle blew, the ball was tapped to Craig, and the game began. Craig immediately started by keeping possession, passing back, allowing his forwards and fellow midfielders to get forward. After about 30 seconds of this, he dropped deep from his attacking position, having the ball passed to him, followed by an Ur midfielder closing in on him. Receiving the ball, he turned sharply and began to dribble, using his speed to blitz past the midfielder. And he was off, gold cleats flashing in the sun, beginning his mazy run.

Helen Garden/Rabbit Girl

It was wonderful to watch Etla's expressions, as she marveled at humanity's wonders. However, not all of their wonders were all positive, and though some of what humanity did was brilliant, some of what they had done was horrible, unethical and as she could think of no other world, inhumane. At the base of this was war. They were so petty, so thirsty for blood, so useless. Some said war should be a last resort. Others said that war was for cowards. However, her opinion on war, could be summed up in two quotes. War makes monsters of men. And there are no winners in a war.

And that related to their future. They were so prideful, so angry, so arrogant and given to wrath. Mankind had stood by and watched as slavery endured for thousands of years and still do as slavery continues, they stood and watched as genocide occurred, and they so often resorted to their bombs. They were choking the Earth, like a vine that grows on a tree, first sharing a relationship, and then, slowly, strangling the tree, stealing the resources meant for it and selfishly taking it for themselves. Perhaps it was not war that made men monsters, perhaps they were already so. But there were good people in this world too, people who were kind and loving and gracious and polite. Honor and courage was not dead in all of humanity, and it was simple, acts of random kindness that kept the dark at bay. There was light, and there was darkness too. She prayed that the light would not be snuffed out.

"I suppose so," Helen said, eyeing her gold-trimmed white cloak and her black legwear, along with her bare feet. We'll have to get you some human clothes then," she said, checking her purse to make sure she had enough money. "Then again, I don't exact blend in either..." she said, looking down at her own costume." With that thought, she led Etla to a Land's End store, opening the door for her and walking behind her. Hangers of with shirts, sweaters, cardigans, skirts, pants, leans, polos and more were all visible. "We'll have to find you some clothes that fit you, and then, I'll pay for them." she said.

Just then, Yavanna, probably the second-cutest rabbit in the world after Rabbit Girl leaped on her shoulder, hurriedly whispering into her ear. She frowned. The Global Rabbit Network, had seen and heard that there was a powerful, malicious being, fighting several heroes. According to the various rabbits reporting, he had quite the power level, and was at god level. That wasn't good, and it seemed she would have to come to the rescue. After buying Etla's clothes, she would have to go and show another villain why attacking Earth was a very, very, very bad idea while she was here. Darkseid and Thanos apparently had shared the tale of how she and her best gal, Squirrel Girl had kicked their butts. For now, she responded, murmuring to Yavanna that the rabbits of the GRN should begin assembling there. Her rabbits had tunnels and warrens all over the world, and so they could travel quickly even underground.

As Yavanna hopped off, Helen gazing at her, she turned to Etla and explained. "Apparently, there's a bad guy invading Earth. He is dangerous and powerful, according to my rabbits around the world." She elaborated, "You see, people for some reason love to attack Earth, though it's a terrible idea. This one though, those heroes may need my help. Don't underestimate the power of rabbits," she said, sharing with Etla a secret smile. "Anyway, let's shop for some clothes and then you can either come and help me defeat this fellow, or stay behind. If you don't want to fight, that's perfectly fine. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to delay our traveling until this is finished. However, it shouldn't be long, and I'm sorry this has come up."

"- I want to be that Arcosian who never wants to give up, I'm the Arcosian who show the Universe that there is some good within our people!!!!" This statement had infuriated and even antagonized Frost to say the least, however, his nephew was trying with earnest to keep his words a promise, even when his power continued to drop exponentially to such a level that he should have been unable to even touch Frost at this point, but someway, somehow, Arctico was causing damage to Frost, although relatively minor damage, Frost was getting very annoyed with his Nephew's insistence on trying to keep fighting. "This lousy brat, I should have killed him the minute I saw him, but I won't make the same mistake again!" Frost shouted, grabbing hold of one of Arctico's hands that reached out to punch him and began to crush it with his power, causing Arctico to let out a yell of pain as he struggled against Frost's Iron-like grip "I've just about had enough of this sparse, you've had this coming Nephew, and your end will come here and now!" Frost growled.

Within moments, Frost threw Arctico into the air like a ragdoll before he teleported behind his Nephew and delivered a kick with so much power that the foot could be seen nearly going clean through Arctico's chest. This caused Arctico's eyes to widen in sheer, undeniable pain as he began to shot down to the ground. However, Frost grabbed hold of Arctico's throat and brought the young Arcosian to face Frost's gaze, Frost's eyes were as cold as ice and as lethal as venom, Frost chuckled as he punched Arctico in the stomach, causing the Arcosian to cough up blood "I've been merciful for quite some time nephew, but now sadly, you've decided to oppose me and that must not go unpunished, and death is always the case for traitors, but I'm not going to give you a quick and painless death, no, but I'm going to give you the most painful death that you can imagine!" Frost exclaimed with sadism as he then used his other hand to grab hold of Arctico's upper right arm, using his Iron Grip to literally crush the bone into fragments.

This pain was unbearable for Arctico, who let out an ear piercing scream and prepared to fire his eye beams, an attempt that was caught by Frost, who then brought his hand to cover Arctico's eyes, causing the attack to cause damage to his own eyes, Frost then dropped the semi-conscious Arcosian, letting him crash to the ground. Arctico lied unconscious in a Medium Sized Crater, Frost landing by the edge as he looked down on the apparently unconscious Arcosian, Frost then spat as he turned his back "Good riddance to bad trash." Frost said with contempt, walking away from the crater.\

Unrelentless Warrior: Arctico's Resolve

However, Arctico wasn't finished quite yet, his body began to stir, his iron clad will making it so that Arctico wouldn't fall until he died, and as Frost walked away, Arctico yelled weakly "Where do you think you're going Frost, we aren't finished yet!" Arctico rasped. The sound of Arctico's voice made Frost stop abrutly in both surprize and shock as he tried to figure out how Arctico had replied "There is no way..." Frost said inwardly as he turned and as soon as he did, he saw Arctico's bloodied hand grab hold of the edge of the crater as he struggled to get back up. This not only caused Frost to take a step back in utter shock, but the shock then turned somewhat into fear as Frost's eyes widened. Arctico had finally managed to get back up from the crater as he grasped onto his broken arm "Wh-what did you think huh?, that I was going to lay down and die from an attack like that?!" Arctico rasped weakly.

Frost stared on in utter shock as Arctico slowly limped towards him, with every intent to continue the fight "That much physical trauma should have kept him unconscious, how in the hell is he still standing?!" Frost swore inwardly before he spoke "Impossible, you surely can't be insistent on fighting me with a broken arm and your power rapidly reaching zero, what else is driving you forward!" Frost growled angrily. Frost's anger began to make Arctico laugh weakly as his purple aura sparked to life "Isn't it obvious Frost, it's just as I told you..." Arctico began, letting out a grunt as he stopped right in front of Frost "I told you before, maybe you need a little reminder, I told you that even though you may break my body into nothing but a pile of broken bones and even though my power may fall all the way down to Zero, I'll never, nor will I ever lose my resolve, even if It may take my life, I. WILL. PROVE to the Universe that our people as a whole are not killers!!!!!" Arctico roared as he flew directly towards Frost in a desperate attempt to continue the fight.

End of the Line

Frost let out an angered growl as he propelled forward and grabbed hold of Arctico's throat and brought him up to face Frost once again "Well then, It looks like you have no intentions of stopping as long as you live, so In exchange -" Frost then threw Arctico far up into the air while at the same time charging an attack "- I'll put an end to your wretched life here and now!!!" Frost exclaimed as a green orb of energy formed within his hand "Now perish!!!!!" Frost yelled as he fired the beam attack towards the young Arcosian, confident that he wouldn't survive the attack meant for him "I put enough power into that to make sure that he WON'T be coming back!" Frost chuckled inwardly.

Arctico stared at the incoming attack, knowing that he was unable to avoid the inevitable fate "Julie..." Arctico began inwardly, hoping that she could hear his voice "I'm sorry for everything that my people have put you through, I just hope that you can forgive me and my sins, farewell Green Lantern..." Arctico finished silently as the beam attack soon enveloped Arctico's now unconscious body, however amazingly, an energy barrier had been formed around Arctico's form, the attack only sending Arctico's body flying thousands of feet away, his power level having gone down so low that he could have been mistaken as dead. Frost chuckled as he could no longer sense his foolish Nephew's energy, believing that he had finally been killed "And now, good riddance to Arcosian Trash such as him..."

Alex suddenly snapped awake as his body was now fully rejuvenated and even stronger than ever thanks to a Zenkai. He shot back to Earth almost instantly and saw Frost about to Finish off Arctico. So Alex crashed into him fully force. "Sup Frosty. Not dead. Awesome right? Stronger than ever!" He said flexing. "You ain't gonna kill my team." He said and his eyes flared bright red.

"Your heat vision?" Frost said standing back up. "It didn't work the first time, and even with that power boost, you think it will be enough to actually pierce my skin?" He asked floating into the air and Alex smiled fiendishly.

"Good thing I'm not aiming at your skin..." He trailed off and for a split second Frost wondered what Alex was aiming. Then he felt an extremely painful burning inside his skull and dropped out of the sky like a rock. "Focused my heat vision through your eyes like a scalpel. BOOM. Lobotomy. You're probably going to have some memory issues and some sluggishness. Your brain is remarkably similar to that of a human's. I fried a section of your cerebellum. You're an Arcosian. I know it's going to take more than a botched lobotomy to put you down, but you are going to have a much harder time hitting stuff." Alex said and walked up to Frost casually.

Frost threw as hard as a punch as he could muster into Alex's face, but only to see that it had done pretty much nothing. "No! You worthless hu-"

"Shut up." Alex said and slapped Frost. Hard, enough where some of his teeth flew out of his mouth. Alex slapped him again, and again, and again until he was bleeding from his nose and barely standing. "Not fun when you're the victim huh? No. It's not. I almost feel bad for you... Nah. Not even close." He said and Gave some of his energy to the barely breathing Artico and Hiroshi. "Hey guys. Frost says he wants you to beat the living hell out of him and he won't even fight back, or use Ki!"

Rebecca Phillips/The Jester-20 Yrs-Gotham City

As I listened to Queen, I knew she was more experienced in these things, but I was really not liking the thought of robbing a bank. It is just sooo...typical. So damn boring. I tried to think back, to the days before becoming the Jester, as I remember hearing about a local Mafia Boss, one they say has more strength than Maroni. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea. Yes, something far more exciting. And far more fun, mostly dangerous but still will be fun. I spawned a wicked smile on my face as I eagerly informed Que en about my plan. "Ya know, I have heard rumors about a new head of the Falcone Family. They hold a lot of power in the underworld of Gotham. Perhaps-" I trailed off for a dramatic affect as I began to lick my lips in anticipation. "Rather than rob a bank and then try to purchase weapons and resources form the underground, why dont we just cut out the middle man and...take the Falcone Operation for ourselves?" I then sprung to my feet as I began to laugh. "Think of it, we would have everything we would need to do whatever we want, and not have to buy anything! Plus, taking on the Falcones will be good practice before we go up against the Bat and the Joker." I said, as I stuck my tongue out at the mention of Joker.

"After that we can use the Falcone's resources and convince the other major crime bosses to fall in line. Pretty soon, we will have an army to do our will. We could then use that army to spread joyful chaos around Gotham, while we locate the Joker. I want his recipe for that Joker gas, if I am going to make a variant of it." I informed her. "And once that is done and Joker and Harley are..." I allowed my voice to drop as I began to smash a case of stuffed prizes. "TERMINATED!" I howled as I began to exhale deeply and recollect my breath I started again. "Then we can focus on the Bat, and this city." I stated simply. I then began to strut around in front of Queen as I spoke. Making overly grand gestures.

"Ambitious, I know. But me and you babe, we have talents." I said placing a hand on her shoulder and propping my chin on her. "You have a way with knives and metal. Meaning you are never without a weapon. And I..." I then jolted up and struck a match against the bottom of my shoe and then dropped it on the ground in front of me. The match landed in a trail of kerosene which I had poured while I was just strutting around moments ago, disguising action with slide a hand. "I improvise." I smirked as the river of fire engulfed a small tent ahead of us, quickly burning ablaze as I sat down next to Queen and watched it.

Finishing the proposition, I sat back and peered over at her.

"So, what do you think my Queen? Between you and me, this will be a class performance." I stated with confidence. Feeling as if there was nothing in the world that could stop us.

Julie's eyes had widened as Artico had fell, pausing and dropping the goon she had in her hand. No... She felt partly responsible for his death, she had wound him up and she hadn't helped him in his fight, when she could have saved him. She had assumed he was like the other Arcosians. Like Frost, but he wasn't. And now his blood was as much on her hands as it was on Frosts. She felt guilt and anger and frustration, directing her rage at frost.

She mentally recited the Lantern oath to stop herself from crying, to remind herself of her duty.

In brightest day, in blackest night,

No evil shall escape my sight.

She suddenly sped towards the galactic tyrant. He's not going to kill another being if I can help it. She was now seeing red, her training and ethics went out the window as she saw only one option. Revenge. For Artico and the countless GL's that were killed going up against his damn PTO.

"let those who worship evil's might," She whispered, now an actual voice rather than a thought.

She knew her ring would not aid her in what she was about to do, so she concentrated on her martian powers. She made herself invisible, then intangible as she rocketed towards him. She passed through his body, phasing into his insides as she activated her martian heat vision. The heat ray would rupture the arcosians organs, though his head would be left intact while most of the rest of his body would just be jello inside skin.

"Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!!!" She shouted as she phased outside of his body, before hyperventilating. Oh Oa... Oh C'eridyall... forgive me... She thought, her mind racing as she processed it. She had roasted a being from the inside out, more than likely killing him. It was contrary to everything she believed in and everything she was taught… but part of her felt good, felt like he deserved it for the pain he caused, which made her even more guilty. She nearly vomited as she began to feel sick.

Frost yelled at Alex, as he recovered from the smack, "You filthy monkey! When I get my strength back, I'll burn this planet to the ground, and everything will be destroyed. You will pay for this! Do you hear me! YOU! WILL! PAY-", the tyrant screamed, suddenly unable to speak, as a searing pain entered his body. Frost suddenly screamed out in agony, "Wha- what are you doing to me?! MAKE IT STOP!", he shouted, as bio-electricity circled around him, a sign that his Ki was returning. But, soon the Arcosian was on the ground, screaming in agony as his legs began to dissipate, and his insides were melted. He was being cooked alive. Frost shut his eyes as his torso was all that was left of him, still clutching his head, which was also in searing pain, and screaming in agony.

After it went quiet, Frost's eyes opened. His body was effectively immobilized, and he was grunting in pain. He had not forseen this turn of events, and he was absolutely pissed. The part of his brain that allowed him control over his powers finally regenerated, but it was too late to use it in combat. He could barely move. But, the Arcosian was incredibly resilient in his ability to survive, and the drive of revenge only helped solidify his survival. He would come back one day, and destroy the miserable planet. But, right now, he wouldn't be able to handle the explosion.

The galactic overlord turned his head to the Earthlings, and spoke in a pained voice, as his body began to dissipate into small multicolored cubes, "You insolent little creature... don't think you've seen the last of me. Next time I come here, I will be one thousand times stronger, at least... and I will kill you all.", he said, as his body completely disappeared.

"Huh. Bye. Don't ever come here again, or you're not going to be leaving. Good job Julie!" He said and put his hand up for a high five. Frost was from his understanding, not going to be much of a threat at least for awhile. "What was that? His kidneys? Not the first thing I would have ripped out of him, but him having any parts of him at all ripped out is awesome in my book! I know it was a good idea to have you in the Ultimates! You, literally, ripped Frost a new one! Awesome job!" He said and then noticed that she wasn't exactly happy. Quite the opposite. "Hey... Don't beat yourself up over Frost. Given the chance he was going to do much worse to everyone on this planet, and likely had to many others. He's not dead, but he probably wishes he was." Alex said and offered her his hand.

Deep in an underground citadel beneath the metropolis of Springwater City, a group of men hurriedly rushed down the open corridor. They brows were covered in sweat from the heat of the magma that surrounded the tube, and hey all gasped with just as much exhaustion as fear. They knew exactly what lay at the end of the corridor, the one who awaited them, and they could do nothing but fear. As they exited the hallway they came upon the huge chamber of lava that held an island of land. The palace that lay on top of it stood forbidding and cruel in an almost beautiful way. Finnally, they entered the palace. A throne made of glowing white stone lay before them, and on that throne lay Vladkaht Jaloki, the Leader of the Akanska crime syndicate. His foreboding demeanor was matched by a calculated and merciless gaze.

All seven of the men knelt before him, and one of them spoke up. "My lord, we have returned from the task that you assigned."

The Mage raised an eyebrow unenthusiastically. "And?" He inquired.

The man on the ground licked his lips in anxious fidgeting. "The bank for Oz-Corps is heavily guarded. It is filled with every form of security imaginable. They are, my lord, an extremely advanced company."

Vladkaht leaned forward. "And?" He said louder this time.

"It is... Not possible. We cannot infiltrate this area without exposing ourselves. The security there is hired from mobsters and crime bosses. They will kill us on sight!" He looked to the leader in exasperation, then quickly looked down again. "It is not possible."

Vladkaht was silent for a moment. He considered what to do. This was such a waste of talent. These men were always so quick to give up and surrender. He hated that. Sure, this group had skills, but they were replaceable. He stood from his throne, and walked down to the man in front, who cowered in fear. "Tell me your name."

The man looked up in confusion. "T-Tyler. My name is Tyler Jackson my lord."

Vladkaht clicked slightly in his mouth, then smirked menacingly. "Well then, let me explain something to you Tyler." He gestured with his hand, and the gems embedded at every joint in his hand glowed. A glowing tentacle came up from the gems, and wrapped around his neck, holding him 15 feet in the air. He gasped and struggled for breath. "Now, when I tell you something is possible, I believe it is safe to say it is possible. You doubt my intellect even now. That is quite a shame, considering all I have done for you. But If you truly believe you are going to die, then you may die like men, or you may die like dogs. That is your choice."

As the man began to black out, he whipped his hand downwards and slammed him into the ground. He sputtered in pain. Vladkaht thought of killing the man for his insolence, but that would be to easy, he decided. He looked to another man, one all the way in the back. "Look to your companion, Tyler." He raised his glowing hand. "You have caused his death. Live with that."
