Valka Silverhand
Ancient Spartan Ruins

Valka nodded. She had guessed that Thor either didn't have the time or didn't want to share Asgardian culture, which was fine, I suppose. "Ah, the Greeks. It was long that we spoke with them, and I am surprised to hear that only Ares still lives. I would have thought Zeus, or Athena would endure. But wisdom often fails in the face of war. Athena too was of war, but Ares was and is War. And mighty Zeus, I suppose it is possible, with lack of worship, among other factors."

"Indeed, the man speaks truly, though I shall expand upon that. Asgard is another planet, as previously stated indeed, it is no city upon this earth. It is one of the Nine Realms, those being Musphelheim, of the Fire Demons, Alfheim, of the Light Elves, Vanaheim, of the Vanir, Jotunheim, of the Frost Giants, Svartalfheim, of the Dark Elves, Asgard, of the Asgardians, and finally this earth, which we call Midgard. It has been nigh a thousand years since I last came to Midgard. Thor, who wields the hammer Mjolnir, if you know him, is also of Asgard."

"In days past, we were worshiped by the Norse, us being the Norse gods and goddess, or the Old Gods, as we were also called. But while the realms of the Norsemen faded, we remained, for we Asgardians do not depend on worship for power, as the Olympians did. I shall introduce myself fully now. "I am Valka Silverhand, Asgardian Goddess of Forging, Metal, and Architecture. I have ridden with the Valkyrie many times now, and it is pleasing to see a fellow warriormaiden. Well met, Spartan, well met, and you too, tall man." Valka said. "Though, I am curious of your study of our portals. To what extent have you come? The Convergence of the Nine Realms happened only a few years past. It happens rarely, every 5 thousand years or so, when the Nine Realms align, forming invisible portals allowing one access to the other worlds." she explained for the Spartan's benefit. "Aye, Malekith the Accursed made his move on that day, and it was a close thing, preventing him from destroying all Nine Realms."

Craig Thomsen
Game Center, Thomsen Tech HQ

"Sounds good," Craig said, stepping forward to one of the consoles. Lifting it up delicately, he handed it to Max. "Put this over your head, then speak your name and then Fifa 15. If you ever need to re-calibrate, just speak that word, and it'll do the rest. It's designed to be used with as simple commands as possible." It was like a visor, the VR console. Within the TV was a scanner, which would be constantly be scanning the player's movements and portray them on the television. There was another scanner in the wall behind them, to also note those movements, and to create a field of sight for the console to do its work.

"It's good to hear that. It's a little stifling sometimes, isn't it. Like you have to wear a cloak, or sunglasses all the time, not literally, though. It's only when you're among company of those who have similar intellects and goals to yours that you feel a sense of fulfillment, a sense of purpose. I'm sure you've heard of my dedication to making sure none of my products are weaponized, and I'm sure you've heard of how I've stayed as far away from weapons development as possible. In truth, I've done so, because, I'm scared of my potential. Not putting this as a boast, but whatever I have set my mind to, I have accomplished. If I created weapons and started to sell them, I could wreck death and destruction. I decided a few years ago that the world should not be the plaything of a 17 year old, and so I continuously rejected those pleas from the U.S. government to build weapons for them. I'm sure you know how they can get very insistent on a thing, experiencing that today and at the founding of Ur. But I had made up my mind, and I decided that it would humanitarian goals for me.

"Ah yes, the White Prince, Mr, Gedimind. Regrettable that all he has done so far with his considerable intellect is make money and get revenge on the rebels of Lithuania. But the time for royalty is mostly over. That's not a jab at you, though. Perhaps I'll try and arrange a meeting with him, get him to focus on what's truly important."

Taking his own VR headset and placing it on his head, he said "Fifa 15." and headed to the team selection screen for two-player games, flipping through until he saw the logo of Thomsen Tech. Saying, "ready," had him good to go. Now all he had to do was wait on Max.

Helen Garden/Rabbit Girl
Columbus, OH

Turning her head toward the Rainborn, she responded, "Food also has pleasurable tastes. Recently, humans have made food that is not good for our bodies, having all kinds of bad things that aren't natural in them. That has made more people fat, which is when they increase in weight and their stomachs are rounder because they eat too much. When we eat too much, our body stores the energy for later use, but if its never used, it becomes fat, which keeps on packing until someone gets fat, or loses that weight through physical activity like running and exercising. You'll see some in the city, though it'll be impolite to stare too long of course. Also, people who have big stomachs, namely woman, may be pregnant. That's when they're carrying a child, which is developing inside its mother until it's ready to be born and comes out. As you can see, there's quite a lot about our bodies, which are quite a marvel. But as you don't need to eat or sleep, yours is a marvel as well, at least to me."

And then, they stepped into the metropolis, the business of urban life. "Welcome to our cities! This is Columbus, in the state of Ohio, which is like a nation within a nation. There are 50 "nations," though we call them states, in the United States of America. As you can see, city life is quite busier than the countryside. It has some good elements, and some bad elements. I remember the first time I came here, I strained my neck by looking up at all the tall buildings, which we call skyscrapers, because they touch, or scrape the sky, so to speak. So, what do you think?" Helen said, guiding her across a road carefully.

Out of the Comic of The Fantastic Butterball...

Chapter One
Manhattan, New York City, New York, US of A

Brian wheezed silently to himself, as he pulled his massive frame through the door of the bus that he had ridden to Manhattan from his home in Staten Island, across the Bay from where he was now. Brian walked on past the dozens of people going about their own business on the busy, crowded sidewalk that ran between a busy intersection and a McDolands that had just opened up within the past month or two, part of an expansion plan by one of several businesses that had been a result of the recent population boom in one of the largest super-cities on Earth.

Brian pushed vainly against the current of oncoming pedestrians, as his wheezing became louder and he began to sweat profusely as a result of the rather rigorous challenge he had been faced with. He grew increasingly self-conscious of himself and his dark yellow suit and cape as he started receiving more and more odd looks as he made his way up the street, through the sea of people that he felt was endless.

Brian took his chubby hand and rubbed it against the latex that covered his forehead, dissipating the sweat caused by the brutal summer heat, which the likes of hadn't been seen ever this far north, something that he suspected was probably a result of corruption in the government and poor regulation of the corporate giants that dotted the country, particularly in New York City itself. He clutched his hands angrily as he imagined all the bullies that had picked on him in school to go onto successful jobs as corporate lawyers, bullying the working class man, or sharks in suits who used violence to make themselves a fortune, and the more he thought about it, the harder he grinded his teeth.

His heart continued to beat at a furious pace and he felt as if he was going to overheat, all a result of his thinking and the heat around him. That combined with the odd and angry looks a fat wanna-be-superhero received from the people who had to pay billions every year as recuperation for the damages done by his fellow superhumans. Finally, not being able to take these two elements anymore, Butterball ducked out of the main street into an alley way, thinking he would change out of the suit back itno his normal everyday clothes and he would go home, no one the wiser, at least that is what he thought.

As the superhero ducked into the alley, he sincerely wished he hadn't. Four men, far more physically fit than himself were beating on a tiny, curly headed man, obviously of Jewish descent, as a fifth sat to the side with the victim's money clip, counting out over a dozen hundred dollar bills and that he was now splitting up to be distributed among the thugs.

He gulped hard and turned to run, but apparently not fast enough as he heard the men calling after him, "Hey, what do we have here, a fat boy trying to play hero? Maybe it's time you learn what heroes get."

The man began walking towards our morbidly obese protagonist quickly, before Butterball, scared for his life, fell backs while trying to flee from the hoodlum. The man snickered as he pulled out his stereotypical stiletto and his compatriots followed suit...

Mad Max Morningstar

The Mad King listened with some interest, but was rather not in the mood to deal with the Asgardian and instead focused his attention toward the Spartan. "My study of your portals is my own endeavor, and the Great Convergence is not an absolute law that all must abide by." He stated flatly, "And I'll just leave it at that." Mad Max continued on, though, pressing some questions into Valka in the meantime. "So then, what business do you have with Corinna? I seek training, and I did not seek an Asgardian. I will respect your position and title, Goddess, but do not look for me at your feet groveling before you."

Though Mad Max sounded fairly harsh, he expected the Asgardian to either get offended or laugh in his face, both options he did not particularly care for. But, something was clear though through his mannerism and way of speaking - this was not the first nor last time Maxwell Morningstar has dealt with a God or Goddess.

The Starlight wrote:-Craig

Maxbot #7013-C

Maxwell graciously took the helmet from Craig and looked it over a few times, nodding in appreciation of the device as Mr. Thomsen explained how to work the device and Mad Max memorized it so that he wouldn't be asking needless questions halfway through the game. Soon though, Craig began to explain and expand on his intellect, and for that reason alone, Maxwell Morningstar was able to uncover so much about the man. Maxwell doesn't need to boast of his mind, his vast intellect, no, he lets it speak for itself - let his accomplishments, deeds, thoughts, words, and actions lead any who cares about a measly intelligence quotient to declare that he is smart. He cracked a smile at the young man's noble ambitions, however.

Placing the visor over his head and face, he began to respond. "A very admirable ideal, no doubt. However, there is vast differences in how you and I must use our brains, Mr. Thomsen. You can think of humanitarian plans, inventions, aid to the starving people, but that is from safety. In Ur, I must ensure the nation is afloat, protected, that each citizen goes without want. They are my priority, but that does not mean the world will suffer because of it. While you may invent a genetic seed that produces bountiful crops without water for Africa, I will be stopping the true cause of food shortages by eliminating the corruption and warlordism prevalent there." He cracked his neck, knowing that Craig and himself were working toward the same goal with different mindsets, "But I am more willing to dirty my hands and soul."

"Me and Gedimind have much history against one another. I shall not talk ill of him, but be weary, beneath his exterior lies a heart colder than my own. I am willing to get blood on my hands, but that man actively seeks it. Royalty is out as a name, it is all about power and wealth in politics, Mr. Thomsen. If not a King, than an Oligarch, if not that, then tyranny, and still no to that, then well, it is anarchy." He calmly said, as if it were everyday knowledge, "Anyways, enough politics. I had enough of that at the United Nations. Let's play."

"FIFA 15." He stated soon after, finding the Ur National Team, and finally declaring "Ready." as well.

"Very well then," Valka said, a bit curious why he was being so blunt. "Your own endeavor indeed, but involving my home and portals leading to it when access to it is restricted. Tread carefully. I shall leave it at that as well, and not give any warnings, for you have either received from another Asgardian already and ignored them, or will ignore mine. "As for my business with Corinna, I only observed her battle with the Hydra and was curious to see a Midgardian who could turn into a fiery beast and a dragon."

Hearing his next statement, she sighed audibly. "And neither did I seek a inquisitive, blunt Midgardian. I sought a warriormaiden and I found one. And I do not want to be worshiped or groveled before by anyone. I am perfectly fine with having no followers or worshipers, and have been so for many years. Neither do I want to be referred by my title as a goddess. Come, Salvistar. As it is fairly obvious that there is one among us who does not have favorable feelings of those of Asgard, or at least namely me, I shall depart. Farewell, Spartan. I am sure you will train him well, whether he is deserving of it, and what he would do with your training is something to consider. Should you ever wish to have a sparring partner, or a companion in battle, I suppose we shall find each other again. Salvistar is quite good at that. I had hoped to do one of the two, but it seems that it is not fated. I speak for too long, best for all of us that I should be gone, I think. Farewell." Valka said, offering Corinna a warrior's salute with her spear, before mounting Salvistar and bidding him fly, which he soon did, rising into the sky.

And so, the Asgardian was off once again, to see what Midgard could offer her. It was disappointing to have to ride once again, but she could not stay where she was not wanted.

Suddenly Frost shot through the air at sub relativistic speeds, appearing in front of Alex and throwing a punch powerful enough to destroy a star with relative ease, a punch bordering on the power of a supernova. He didn't want to fight at full power just yet. He wanted to get a read on Alex's true power, as it had not been revealed.

"You're slow as sin." Alex said as he ducked backwards and fired a bright golden blast aimed at Frost's gut. "Slow. Sub-par combat skills. How did you even get to where you are now?" He asked. Alex was just horsing around at 50% of his power. Testing Frost. Watching his style, techniques, and everything else in between. One thing he was sure of for the moment: He was faster than Frost by quite a bit. Which gave him an edge. "You gonna beg? I made Cooler beg. Of The Rnclave wrote:---

Garnet watched once again as the three bullets she had fired at Ginger tore through the air, hitting their marks effortlessly, her aim as accurate as that of a veteran marksman despite the fact that she had never ever touched a gun in her life before coming upon Misery, which had been... what, about two years ago? Roughly, yes, two years since she had acquired the mystic gun and had begun being chased by the shadows, though they hadn't bothered her for the last six months, they hadn't bothered her since she'd met her current boyfriend, thankfully. Either way, the point was that her unnaturally astounding aim had enabled her to cause quite a bit of damage to Ginger, making it easier for Hiroshi to do battle against the alien demon, and so, believing that her job was done, she lowered the gun, holding it with only one hand now as her other hand went to rest on her waist. She could easily see that Hiroshi was easily knocking Ginger around, with a bit of cruelty too, though she had to admit she didn't feel any pity whatsoever for the alien, enjoying the show. When Hiroshi slammed his palm into Ginger, Garnet merely nodded to herself, a grin on her face, and then turned around, letting out a bit of a sigh. The battle was over, then. Best thing to do was likely to head back home, then. She could see some TV crews on the distance, and if her boyfriend had managed to see her he was likely quite worried-

Her thoughts were stopped on their tracks as she heard a loud scream behind her. Her blue eyes went wide like saucers as her ears caught the sound, and, turning around quickly, her expression turned into one of sheer horror as she gazed upon Hiroshi, his face all red. Flesh and bone alike were exposed, one of his eyes surrounded completely by blood. It was quite the brutal scene, truly, and even as she watched Ginger get completely disintegrated by the angered Saiyan, she could not help feeling disgusted at the sight. Dropping Misery for a moment, Garnet bent down and vomited, the contents of her stomach spilling out onto the sidewalk. Needless to say, she wasn't pleased with this. It was anguishing enough to think that maybe she wouldn't be able to have breakfast at all if it weren't for the fact she could stay at a place for free, having to send back that breakfast due to a fight between aliens was simply not nice.

"Ugh... Jesus..." She said, staggering back and sitting down on the ground, reaching out with one of her feet and using it to draw Misery closer to her before snatching it from the ground. She was no longer looking at Hiroshi; in fact, she didn't really want to look at him at all right now. Sure, he had saved her life, but he looked pretty disgusting right now. Instead, she decided to let her gaze settle on the man with the strange uniform and the green thing hanging from the ceiling.

"Can either of you heal him? He sure looks like he needs it right now." He said to the two observers, hoping that they could help him out.

However, before she could say anything more, she heard sirens in the distance. Evidently, even though they wouldn't have managed to do jack shit against the alien demons, the cops were still duty-bound to at least drop by and check the aftermath. Or maybe it was some ambulance, trying to get to some poor bugger that had been injured or worse by the collateral damage caused in the battle between the Saiyan and the aliens. Hell, perhaps some bystander had the common sense and humanity to call an ambulance after seeing Hiroshi's face get bitten off by Ginger, and had received a remarkably fast response. All of these were possible, but it was also possible that it was the cops, and Garnet had a very good reason for not wanting to run into the cops while carrying Misery around.

"...Fuck! I don't have a permit!" She thought to herself as she quickly scrambled to her feet, unceremoniously tucking Misery into the back of her pants and using her black sweater to hide it. She wasn't keen on getting Misery taken away from her, especially not with this kind of shit happening around her. Looking around to see which was a good escape route, she paused to glance at Hiroshi, instantly wincing and regretting doing so.

"Hey, er, thank you for saving me there, I'd say that should make up for me helping you put down the aliens. But I gotta run now. Good luck getting a face!" She said to Hiroshi before turning on her heel and starting to run away at a remarkable speed for a human, soon leaving the area, dashing past any curious bystanders or bothersome journalists, her curly blonde hair fluttering behind her as she managed to lose herself in the concrete forest.

The Starlight wrote:---

Still walking alongside her new friend, the Rainborn continued to bask in the moonlight and the coolness that the breeze cast on her face, outstretching her arms and doing a little dance as she followed the girl and her small entourage of bunnies towards the nearest city. She was quite excited to see what these cities held for her. Already, she was vastly impressed and amazed by the sights of this Earth, and she had seen but a fraction of its beautiful immensity. The forest, a place so often associated with calm and serenity by the human race, had been quite the opposite for the Rainborn: a myriad of new sensations, all of them assaulting her at once, forcing her Power Core to work faster than ever before to assimilate all of the information, all of the stimuli, all of the data that she was receiving moment after passing moment. The hills had been slightly calmer, but still quite the experience for her. The sunset, so majestic and sublime, with its golden colors blending into the sky to form a huge display of utter beauty, as though the sun and even the skies themselves had decided to put on their best show in order to welcome the girl who had just arrived to their land. And throughout all of it, she had gained a new friend. Well, two, if she counted Dallen. Perhaps several, if the other rabbits had a good opinion of her. Truth be told, the little fuzzy creatures amused her greatly. They were cute and soft, and their antics brought a smile to her face as she followed.

Hearing Helen continue to explain the concept of food to her, she understood why the humans ate food. It was not just because it provided them with energy, though by the sound of it that was the main reason at least at first, they also ate it because they liked the sensation it produced. That was a strange thought for the Rainborn. Naturally, as she had never really had the necessity to 'eat' like the humans did, she had never had the opportunity to taste much, either. She had tasted the rain of the Skyworld, and the water of the great fountain, and the skin of the faces of her brothers and sisters, but nothing more, and so, she wondered what the 'food' of the humans tasted like. Surely, she could 'eat' some of it, even if she didn't need it? By the sound of it, they made a lot of food that wasn't even good for them and they ate more than they needed anyway, so, surely she could have a bit. She was genuinely curious about it, so she made a mental note to ask Helen about it sometime later. It likely didn't matter that her organism was different from theirs, anyway, she was fairly certain that her Core would just burn it and convert it into energy for her endless supply one way or the other.

The mention of people becoming fat, now that was an amusing thought. She envisioned human people like Helen, but with bulging tummies, walking around in a ridiculous fashion that was likely at least a tad far from the truth of fat people, but which she was greatly entertained with, giggling a bit as she thought about it, her laughter sounding as though it came straight from a delicate music box, not a far-fetched thought considering Father Sky's self-appointed profession of "toy maker". She made another mental note not to stare long at fat people, though she didn't exactly know how long was "long". She had lived without the notion of time for most of her life, so it was going to be rather difficult for her to adapt, though her observation of the movement of the astral bodies of Earth were already giving her a good idea of what time was.

Timekeeping issues aside, another thought that Etla found quite interesting was the concept of a "mother". She quietly wondered what those were. The word sounded remarkably similar to the word "father", which was what Father Sky was to her, not an astounding leap of logic judging by the name. From what Helen told her, these "mothers" sometimes bore within themselves the seed of a living creature that slowly developed into a full-fledged organism that was then somehow ejected. She found this notion quite fascinating, and also completely and utterly strange and alien and eldritch. The concept of biological birth, of sexual reproduction, it was all so strange to someone such as her, who had been born out of the light of the stars and the rain of the Skyworld, molded into a beautiful form (Etla was anything but modest in regards to her own look) by the loving hands of Father Sky. She had not been carried within his body beforehand, she had not gone through a development state before reaching her current form, and she had certainly not come out of his tummy. And still, the notion of human birth was a fascinating one. She would have to ask Helen if there was any chance she could witness such a phenomenon occur, but later. For now, the city awaited.

And oh, what a surprise it was! What sights! What sensations! It was completely different from the forest! Idly listening to Helen's speech with but a fraction of her thought process, Etla once again began taking in the hundreds of sensations that the city possessed, processing them, storing them within the memory of her Core. Her bare feet touched the cool nocturne asphalt as her eyes gorged themselves upon the sight of the enormous caves of steel that rose up into the sky in sheer defiance of gravity, attempting to touch the stars. And humans made these things? They lived within them? Oh, what a wonderful race they were! If she hadn't been before, by now Etla was utterly determined to see everything that this Earth had to offer to her. Even if Helen could indeed help her get back to the Skyworld, which she still doubted, she would stay here for a while, she didn't want to miss anything after all. Her acute, virgin nose caught the myriad scents of the city, some which were not all that pleasant, but all of which were completely new, and completely amazing. The scent of the asphalt, of the concrete, of the people, of everything around her. Such diversity was awe-inspiring, truly.

She was momentarily shaken from her delighted reverie as a sudden noise reached her ears. Turning her head, she noticed something moving in her direction from afar, twin lights heralding its arrival. It sped right past her, but the Rainborn's keen eyes took note of the object: It was some sort of metallic construct with a red coloration and four wheels on the bottom, vibrating very quickly and spewing some sort of smoke from its rear. She had also seen humans within, one of them apparently controlling the construct. Now, it was more than obvious that it was not a living organism, so the Rainborn's swift mind worked out what it was rather quickly: It was a means of transport, an object that allowed these humans to move faster than they would be able to in ordinary circumstances. Her amazement only grew as she deduced this. They were quite a clever race, these humans.

As she finally managed to gain some semblance of control over herself after her streak of childish admiration, Etla decided to stop looking at the landscape, and analyzed the people instead. They were quite a colorful bunch, the people of 'Columbus', in the nation of Ohio, in the nation of the United States of America. They moved through designated areas around their clusters of concrete caverns, sometimes crossing from one to the other through the black rivers that designated the prowling grounds of the metallic transports. Some of them seemed to be in quite a hurry for some reason, while others still were walking at a rather relaxed pace and conversing with each other in a tranquil manner. She even caught sight of several of them doing what she believed was 'eating' food, and some more still fit the criteria that Helen had provided earlier: they were 'fat'. She made sure not to stare too long at them, though she inevitably wound up doing so, her ignorance in time-related manners causing her to make more than one of them incomfortable as they found themselves being pierced by a curious, glossy and strangely unnatural emerald gaze.

One thing in particular she noticed, however, was the fact that she herself was getting more than a handful stares, many of them filled with curiosity, others still filled with fear, and more than a few filled with admiration as well, something she was quick to attribute to her beauty. Rainborn were crafted with great care, after all, they were meant to possess fair looks, and the girl with blonde hair and emerald eyes was no exception. Still, though, she looked at the humans, and then at herself, and quickly she generated a fairly accurate estimate of why they were looking at her with such confusion.

"Helen." She said to Helen with a mildly concerned expression. "Their garments look very different from my own. I do not think I am blending in very well." She stated. It was true, her gold-trimmed white cloak and her black legwear were causing her to stand out from the crowd quite a bit, and her bare feet were not helping matters at all. Of course, she had absolutely no doubt that the clothes she wore were pretty, but still, they were quite different from what humans wore.

Maskva/Moskva/Moscow, Free Republic of Lithuania

Theme - Ride Forth Victoriously

The situation wasn't the best here, unfortunately. At least, for the country.

The Free Republic of Lithuania is a new country on the European map. A republican, semi-democratic successor of the previous Empire of Lithuania, it is still one of the giants at the world stage, taking the part of OTL Russia. Because it's as big as it. Or even a bit bigger. History time! The story of this Lithuania starts all the way in the early 11th century, when, with the arrival of Saint Bruno to the lands of the Balts in 1009. Instead of heading to Prussia and getting his head crushed with a mace, he went into the more Eastern lands, today known as Aukštaitija, or the Duchy of Lithuania, and successfully converted Šventaragis, the then ruling duke (also a meta for some reason). At that time, the Balts were already experiencing a change from a tribal structure to a more sophisticated and advanced feudal structure. Slowly uniting under the catholic banner, Lithuania stayed low for a while, rather ignored by neighbours due to it's difficult landscape, making it hard to conquer. At the same time, it was rapidly developing, catching up to Western Europe, and growing to be quite an important trade member in Europe, using both it's vast resources of Baltic amber and strategic position between Novgorod and the West to gather riches.

Then came the Mongols. (I love Crash Course.) Arriving in early 13th century, these hordes of Genghis Khan's horse archers steamrolled through Asia and Eastern Europe in a medieval version of blitzkrieg. China and Persia fell, Byzantium and the Pope were pissing their pants and trying to send missionaries to convert the invaders, and Eastern Europe was there to get rolled over in Batu Khan's ambition to reach the Western ocean. Whatever was still left of Kievan Rus' back then (mainly just a few Rurikid rival states) was crushed and forced to be tributaries. Poland and Hungary's armies were also crushed, and nothing seemed to be able to save Europe now... Nope, no dramatic entrance of Lithuania either. Even the Mongols were not an exception in ignoring this Baltic state, though there were a few clashes, especially the Battle of Lida, an important event in history, because it's the oldest known time in recorded history that metas were used in combat alongside normal humans - according to the Bychowiec Chronicle, a few 'very strong soldiers' joined the battle at the very end. It was still a Pyrrhic victory to the Mongols, though.

Thankfully, Batu Khan's death prevented a Mongol conquest of Europe. In the ruins and ashes that were left of Eastern Europe, Lithuania started asserting it's dominance. Slowly gobbling up the small Belorussian and Ukrainian duchies one after another, it went on to grow greatly, even rivaling the Golden Horde. After Casimir III's death in the nearby Kingdom of Poland with no son, Louis the Great, King of Hungary was coronated. But the Polish were unhappy with his rule, and as soon as the poor guy died, they decided to separate themselves from their rule and placed Hedwig, Louis's daughter and sister to the new Queen of Hungary, Mary. Lithuania's king, Jogaila, took advantage of the situation, and eventually, with the Union of Kreva and the nobles' support, wed the then 12 year old Hedwig (Jadwiga). Don't be weirded out, it was the Middle Ages. This union eventually led to a personal union, with Lithuania leading it.

With a united Poland-Lithuania, it's main rival, the Grand Duchy of Muscovy, was soon crushed, and the endless plains and forests of Russia were open to the titan of the East. The two countries were eventually united in 1667 with the Union of Trakai, where the Empire of Lithuania was formed. Yeah, the Polish lords were unhappy with the naming, but at that point a lot of them were already Lithuanized, though still saw themselves as Poles. The empire continued to grow for the next three hundred years - colonizing Siberia and Central Asia and extracting their vast resources, getting rid of the Golden Horde, fighting Sweden many times and so on... Even fighting against Germany in the World Wars. However, it didn't try to innovate in the political spectrum. The nation was still an absolute monarchy, led by an Emperor. Any other political parties were banned - communists, fascists, libertarians. The royals were highly conservative. And they managed to get like that into the 21st century.

But the waves of democracy eventually reached it. Six years ago, after an arrest of several ecologist and liberal sympathizers in Vilnius, the nation was flooded by mass demonstrations, strikes and violent action. Support from USA and the EU also followed. Major parts of the army and the police turned against the Royal Family, and we know what happened there. Hanging and Augustin being pissed. And getting some money. Luckily, no nukes were fired - after all, Lithuania has a massive nuclear arsenal. But the rebels soon realized - it's not that simple to simply do a revolution and become a free liberal paradise. The people just didn't know how to live democratically - they were under a monarchy and a single dynasty for an entire millenium, or more. The Free Republic of Lithuania soon devolved into a nationalist dictatorship, led by some Marius Vilktaitis, and oppressing the minorities even harder than before. That was not what they wanted. The monarchists are already planning a return.

And now, in Moscow, the people have snapped. Moscow has always been the ideological center for the Russian and Slavic population. Ever since the 13th century, they have fought for a free and united state for their population, and so far their efforts were not effective. The Lithuanian Revolution was the perfect opportunity! But no. An even worse regime followed. Major riots are already breaking out again in the country. However, the Nationalist army is keeping things under control, and this will not be an easy struggle. All the people need is a strong leader... Someone to promise them great things, and later lead them to a better future.

Guess who that guy's gonna be, huh?

Augustin Gediminid/White Prince

LSS Deus didn't take long to reach it's destination - Earth. After all, it's a warp drive, being fast is it's purpose in general. Slowing down, it quickly turned off it's warp drive module after reaching Earth's orbit, going back into more traditional oxygen fuel thrusters, moving head-on towards the landing pods outside of London. How come nobody has not noticed them yet? Plot fog? Throughout the entire journey, Augustin was sitting next to Lisa, watching her, as if hoping a miracle will happen and she will stand up in front of him with no injuries or negative side-effects. But nope, that didn't happen. Lucien was already fine and had already left the healing tank, mourning over the injured Lisa a bit, then heading back to his room. It was a sad atmosphere.

But finally, Earth has finally been reached. Augustin mentally pledged to himself to not leave Earth for a while - he has already seen some shit. Right now, he has important stuff to take care of - fixing up Lisa, upgrading her, giving her a transformation, maybe asking her out someday if he feels like it. And Lucien. Screw deadly injections, Lucien is his son. He has seen his bravery back on Cayori, against Lyhn. He couldn't believe that a test subject could be so emotional, so... likable. And through all this time, he kind of got attached to him. Maybe he should also start dealing with the formalities and work on sending him to school once summer is over? That's also a possibility.

Anyway, LSS Deus, after the main shuttle doors opened, slowly descended down, gently landing and touching the surface of Augustin's secret laboratory. This time, there was no questioning. Everyone here was already used to these constant expeditions to various planets - the command center merely released the landing bridge and opened the main door.

"Lucien, you should go home and rest for a while. I know this battle has been very hard for you, so I'll let you have your time off for some time." He won't really need Lucien's help anymore. The testing was complete, results are great, so they don't even need to travel anywhere. That is going to change fairly soon thanks to the last post, but so far it has been pretty good. The boy ran off back to his room, a few kilometers or a few teleporting seconds away, so Augustin, carrying a damaged Lisa, strolled off to his own personal laboratory.

It's time to work. One more post and you'll see a new Lisa, Charm.

"No much different from you I see." He muttered darting side to side avoiding the beam. "Why don't we settle this like men and just beat the hell out of eachother? Not that you can hit me. From what I've seen, I'm not impressed." He says and floats in front of him with his arms crossed, attempting to goad Frost into attacking him. "Or you can try and hit me with your really bad aim. But if you do that, It's gonna hurt a lot more." This was mostly due to the fact that Alex was far faster than Frost by his own admission. Fighting him Hand to Hand would give him an edge. "I mean if you're scared, that's fine. Just let me know and I'll stay sway and let you try and blast me."

"Goodbye." Outworlder said said pleasantly, watching the girl run away at an almost comic pace. He then turned to the saiyan, whose facial features were much more than slightly distorted by the amount of blood on his face. He slipped toward him quietly, or at least quiet enough not to be heard over his groans of agony. "Oh dear, that does look painful." His alien mind analysed the wound with computational accuracy. Every muscle, section of skin and clump of veins was under strict comprehensive identification. The creature was glad the saiyan was blinded by his own blood to where he could not see him. Otherwise he may attack at seeing his gruesome appearance. Lúxvälik-Taerr spoke to the saiyan softly, "you do not know me, but I can help you if you let me. Just be still." His voice was soothing and soft. He projected calming thoughts onto his psyche in order to keep him from hurting himself further.

Nathaniel continued his hike through the forbidding mountainside, taking a fresh sniff of the sweet smell of pine that filled his nostrils. The forest bustled with its usual wildlife. Birds chirped softly in the treetops while a small woodland animal shifted through the underbrush. Small patches of snow left over from the last winter chill dotted the grass, which crunched under his foot. The path that he was on was a less taken route, but Nathaniel preferred it over the more heavily beaten path. He was not entirely fond of being discovered or questioned by anyone in these woods. Besides, being alone gave him time to relax and recollect himself. The wilderness of Canada was a perfect place to become closer to oneself and nature.

He steadied himself on his staff as he walked. It did seem to work perfectly as a walking stick. The smooth metal surface was cold under his hand, though the air itself seemed more cool than chilly. The complicated technological engravings on the sides brushed under his fingers. He had grown to know every crevice and nook over the years, as if the rod had become an extension of his being. Truly, it was one of the only things truly constant in his life. After all that had happened... He could feel it seizing him again. The grief. It gripped him in its throes once again. He could feel his throat tense up, and he began to sweat. "clear your mind. Focus on the present. The past is gone to you now; it has no hold on you anymore. Learn from it and go on." He repeated the words of Charles Xavier once again as he took a deep breath. Then he began to continue his walk.

-Threat imminent. Large. Coming at exactly 117 mph at 37 degrees. Evade. Consider retaliation options. Target possesses heavy momentum. Direct attack results in trampling, causing disadvantage. Use weight as leverage and follow with blow to midsection. - Nathaniel leapt to the side as a huge paw like hand grasped for him out of no where. A bloodcurdling screech echoed across the forest.

"WEN-DI-GO!!!" It cried, and swatted at him once again. It's white fur ran rank with a foul odor of rotting meat, and It's infernal growling vibrated the ground. Nathaniel saw the blow coming at him in a surreal state of slow motion. He grabbed one monstrous finger pulled it over his shoulder, flipping the creature and sending him crashing down to the earth. It bellowed once more into the cold Canadian air. Nathaniel raised his staff, and it began to flow with ethereal light and energy, which he brought down with a vengeance into the stomach of the creature. A small explosion burst from the rod onto the beast, who howled in pain.

It slashed outwards in a fury as Nathaniel nimbly dodged its claws. After climbing to its feet, the beast grabbed a nearby tree that had been uprooted and swung it like a club. "WEN-DI-GO!!!" It bellowed. Nathaniel parried the attack with his staff, causing the tree to explode and splinter everywhere. In the confusion of the explosion, Nathaniel barely saw the claw coming at him. -Evade. Avoid range of claws. Wait for an opening in defenses. Counter current situation with energized blow to forearm. -

The two traded blows for what seemed like hours. Each time he had a chance to end the fight the monster would slash with its claws, forcing him to retreat. A trickle of blood came down Nathaniel's chest from a point where he had not been quick enough. Finally, just as he dodged yet another blow, he found an opening. -target nervous system exposed on left side. Pivot mid jump. Focus energy on vulnerable area. Target immobilized. Take advantage of stun. Advance. Dodge attacks from claws. Finish with blow to head.-

Nathaniel turned mid air, and focused on the spot left vulnerable by the lunge forward Wendigo had taken. With a cry, he unleashed a torrent of energy that arched into its left side, right where the leg met the hip. The creature fell with a thud. It attempted to rise, but could not get up from its knees. It looked down at its limp and paralyzed leg. "WEN-di-go?!" It whined. He charged forward as his staff glowed in radiance. It clawed desperately at him, but he easily dodged its attacks. He spun to gain momentum, and with a sound like cracking thunder struck the monster on the temple with a burst of blinding light.

He stood over the unconscious beast and caught his breath. The forest around him was decimated. It was charred and splintered in odd positions in a hundred yard radius. It pained him to have caused such damage, but it was, after all, necessary. The beast stirred slightly with a slight groggy moan, and he decided that it was time to go. Staff in hand, he began running. Slowly at first, then increasing to speeds that caused the trees to the side blur beside him. As he sprinted across the forest landscape, a thought made him grin slightly. -wait until Logan heard about this.-

Seems like Alex has the frost guy handled... lets deal with the grunts shall we? Julie thought, speeding towards a cluster of weaker members. The last two aimed at her, firing their energy attacks and hitting nothing but air as she phased through them. She used her ring to create a hammer, tossing it into the minion so he hit his buddy and sent them both to the floor. She noted that this was just a few of the stragglers of the main force, and they seemed quite a bit stronger. She frowned, quickly putting on some green energy shackles onto the unconscious PTO members she had left.

She looked over to the Frost fight, noticing Artico standing in dazed shock. "By Oa's fucking light what the hell are you doing?" She telepathically said, before noticing a good amount of Frosts men had noticed her and were now converging on her position. "Hoo boy. Thats a lot of people..." She muttered. Frost's eye suddenly began to twitch, and it quickly became clear that Alex struck a nerve, "Alright then, let's.", he said, as his body suddenly began deconstructing into multicolored cubes, disappearing completely. It was all quiet for a moment, when suddenly, Frost's arm rematerialized behind Alex, and, as the rest of his body followed, he began throwing a barrage of punches and kicks, each at least 3/4 the speed of light, which was around Frost's maximum combat speed, and a much higher speed than he was using before. He hoped it would catch the Earthling off guard.

"The slowest teleport of all time... Yawn." Alex's Kryptonian senses quickly picked up Frost as he began to re materialize. "Bonus points for originality though. Will give you that." He said. Frost was still moving slower than him. He was capable of moving at Lightpseed. Frost was still a ways off. "Still... Too..." He said, banked to the left dodging one of Frost's fists and threw an elbow at the speed of Light at the side of Frost's face. "Slow." He said and then went on the offensive, returning Frost's blows, but at a much great speed. "I'm gonna enjoy watching you squirm and beg! Just like the rest of your pitiful kind!" Alex spat not nearing about 70% of his full power.

Augustin Gediminid/White Prince

The first thing that Augustin noticed after entering his laboratory was a notice in his armor that someone was calling on his front door, back in his main estate in London. Oh, of course. Unfortunately, he hasn't yet placed security cameras there, so he couldn't see who was there. So, he simply pushed a button on the wall and told his house to send a recorded message to the people there. "Excuse me, but I am currently either not at home or busy. Please come again or call me sometime later" would be told to them in Augustin's voice. He was busy right now, after all. And he needed to work on Lisa, with zero distractions.

The Prince placed the android's still functioning, but non-responsive body on the main, glass-like workbench, and it started shining in a light blue color, indicating that it was scanning the body and searching for what to fix. Soon, it brought a hologram with a complete analysis of the subject. It showed some interesting details, actually. The design was what caught his attention, though... It was a distinct one, and one he felt like he recognized a bit... Maybe it's just his mind deja-vuing or something. Well, someday he'll find out. I hope.

Slowly removing the plating from the back, Augustin took a deeper look at the insides, and what was damaged, since the scan didn't say much. After some checking, it could be concluded that, luckily, the damage was not that big. It's mainly her programming itself that shut her off, most likely. Thankfully, the energy modules were still intact, just disconnected from the system and fairly damaged. It won't take that long to fix it, so at the same time, he placed his hand on a button at the side of the workbench and spoke out:

"Lab, bring me the VAR module." We'll need it. It was a base module for power armor, much like his own. He already had a certain degree of experience in making outside armor, let's see if he can engineer it to work in the inside. He already had a plan on how this upgrade will work - taking quite a lot of inspiration from the Super Saiyan transformation - no, Lisa won't become a blonde super-ape with a tendency for shouting, though that would be kinda sexy, I guess - more around the whole turning it on and off thing. After all, he doesn't want to ruin her looks.

At this time, he had already finished fixing what had been broken, though he did not mend back the last wire - he didn't want to wake her up just yet. After all, it won't be as easy to dissect and upgrade her while she is there with her eyes open. Suddenly, a large swarm of nano-bots quickly walked out of a tube in his workbench and formed a set of armor next to Lisa. Augustin immediately pushed a button and it disassembled. He needed to form what he wanted by himself. And possibly add some new abilities as well. Lisa's a spatial manipulator, right? We should add something that supplements that...

It took quite a few hours to assemble everything, but soon, it was all finished. He even added some programming to Lisa's brain to work as a switch. If she thinks about powering up or entering the super form, the nanobots inside of her will come out and form her super form. I guess that's basically it. Lisa is fixed up and even better than before. Now to mend the last wire and voila - everything is complete.

"Lisa, can you hear me?" Augustin said to the android girl and waved his hand in front of her eyes, hoping that the sensors will pick it up. "If you're okay, say something!" If this fails, he'll get to pinching.

Petrification by Fear

Falling to his knees, Arctico watched as Alexander continued to engage Frost without heed or relent, something that caused Arctico to question Alexander's sanity "Why does he continue to fight, Frost can't be defeated by any means, his power is incalculable, and I know Frost is holding back a decent part of his energy, when he goes to full power, we'll all be killed either way..." Arctico said within his mind, his will to fight having been diminished by the sheer fear of Frost's rage and anger towards the people of Earth, himself, and even Alexander "His power is too much, he's the most powerful Arcosian that anyone could ever face, no one has defeated him before nor will he be defeated here, we are going to die!"

Alex hit Frost with all of his might and sent the Arcosian bounding across the rocky wasteland. "Come on Frosty! Show me what you got!" Alex said and flew at the Frost demon like a golden bullet.

"As you wish Earthling." Frost replied and as Alex got closer and closer. Frost fired a bright purple beam which completely engulfed Alex into the blast and, literally, glassed the sand around the blast. It sent Alex into a large crater and ripped off a portion of his costume that covered his chest and caused his cape to fly away in the wind. Alex staggered to his feet, and yet again flew directly at Frost. "My, for an Earthling, you really are a glutton for punishment, aren't you? But I am more than happy to oblidge." He said and readied yet another beam and fired, but this time he missed.

Alex had tunneled through the rocky ground, and literally lifted a mountain's worth of rock with Frost still standing on it. Alex flipped it over and Frost dropped to the ground as Alex dropped the mountain on him. "Not so tough now that you're flatter than a pan-" Two red beams shot through the rock, this sent Alex into the Sky and the beams exploded which sent the smoking warrior down to the ground before Frost shattered the mountain apart with little more than brute strength.

Jamal flew over the rather beautiful landscape of Virginia as he traveled back to Miami. He was kind of disappointed that his assistance wasn't really needed in New York, as the Saiyan boy had dispatched of the final enemy before Jamal had any chance or need to step in. To be honest, while he was enjoying this break, he sort of wanted some action.

"Why are you flying so slow? Could you not fly as fast as you did when you rushed from home to New York?" D'Vorah, who was flying next to him, asked. He had came across her while she was halfway across Pennsylvania and on her way to New York to join him.

"Yeah, but sometimes I prefer to take things slow and take in the scenery. I rarely get the chance to do that on interstellar missions. Besides, it'd be kinda rude to have you fly back home by yourself ag-" Jamal was then interrupted by Worldmind.

"[Jamal, I detect something entering the atmosphere near us. At its current velocity it will land in roughly 30 seconds and approximately 50 km West.]"

"Huh. Looks like this trip won't be a complete waste after all. Come on, D'Vorah." Jamal said and he banked a right heading West with D'Vorah following behind him. The two quickly covered the 50 km, though they could see the trail of smoke in the air, towering above the trees that obscuring the object, caused by the impact from kilometers away. Upon getting close enough, they saw a crater roughly six kilometers wide, the trees that had previously filled up the area utterly destroyed. In the middle of the crater was a rectangular space pod about the size of a human. "Worldmind, do a quick scan o-" Jamal began as he and D'Vorah floated to the ground.

Suddenly the door of the pod opened and a woman stepped out of it. She stood in front of Jamal and D'Vorah in silence for about 10 seconds before Jamal broke the silence and began approaching her. "Uh... hey. What brings you to Ear-" Jamal was cut off, something that seemed to be happening a lot today, by the woman raising her hands above her shoulders, palms facing up, and revealing a red gem inside of each of her palms. A swirling pool of energy appeared above each of her palms and they descended down her arm until they formed two large gauntlets.

The woman charged at Jamal at a speed that, while it surprised him, wasn't anything he couldn't deal with. Still, D'Vorah jumped in front of him to intercept the woman, and one of the pincers emerged out of her back to stab her. However, the woman easily caught the pincer and then punched D'Vorah in the face, sending her flying backwards. Jamal caught her but wasn't expecting the amount of force she was hit with, and he was sent backwards as well.

The woman jumped into the air and dived at the two, right arm outstretched, just as Jamal grounded himself and stopped moving backwards. He raised his hand and fired a powerful blast strong enough to destroy a medium sized country. However she emerged from the smoke caused by the blast completely unfazed. Jamal's eyes widened and he muttered "Oh shi-."

BOOM!

The woman emerged from the dust and debris flung into the air by the impact and began heading back to the pod from which she emerged, with D'Vorah laying sprawled over Jamal in the center of a large crater, both seemingly unconscious. The woman reached the pod and dematerialized her gauntlets. She then proceeded to place her hand on a spot next to the door.

"[GEM RECOGNIZED. SUBJECT: RUBY.]" a robotic voice called out. A panel opened revealing a small keyboard, onto which Ruby began typing. Suddenly she turned around and spread her arms out in front of her as if to push something. A fraction of a second later an energy blast engulfed her.

Jamal and D'Vorah both emerged out of the crater as the smoke cleared and revealed Ruby to be yet again unharmed by the attack. Jamal's uniform began repairing itself and he cracked his knuckles. "Alright. Let's try that again."

"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Elias and the Search for the Energems Part I

Elias had entered a new world, a world of humans and metas, mutants and Saiyans. He hadn't left the estate yet, but he knew that this would be interesting. There was something else, though. Elias always remembered a faint connection to something calling him, but now that he was on Earth, it was almost as if it was screaming at him! He had to find them, he had to figure out what was going on and what these things were. Eli soon became deter-

"Elias Stark." came voice, hissing behind him, "Welcome back to Earth."

Elias turned around to see a reptilian being staring at him.

"Who are you?" Elias asked, confused.
"I am Mercer," the creature replied, "I'm what happened after you were taken. They grafted the powers of the Dino Gems to my DNA. And now, I'm here to bring you back to the United Nations."
"No!" Elias yelled, flicking his wrist to the red gem.

He took off, running as fast as he could as he tried get away from the reptile man. It wasn't long before Elias realized that the man was beside him, running just as fast. Mercer smirked, his arm swinging and clothes-lining Elias. Eli fell with a thud, pain racking his body. His years on Namek had made him tough, and soon Elias was back on his feet, ready to fight. With a flick of the wrist the red gem was replaced with the yellow.

"Let's see if you can match this!" he yelled, before letting out a ptera scream.

Mercer was able to match it, however, with visible telepathic blasts. Elias knew what this meant, Mercer would be able to think longer than he could scream, but that wouldn't stop Tyrannus from trying. Alas, after about five minutes of no air intake, Elias collapsed.

"Excellent." Mercer said simply.

Battle of the Scorpions

Rinshi had traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina in an attempt to explore the world. Reports of the invasion began pouring in. Rinshi prepared to go join the battle when he appeared, someone that he thought only existed in the legends of the Yishu. He smirked as he walked towards Rinshi, evil radiating from his very being. Rinshi's human form shattered.

"I thought I smelled the stench of the Yishu." Lothor scoffed, "I may as well end you as long as you're here!"
"Lothor," Rinshi began, "So you ARE real."
"I am very real," the masked man laughed, "More than I can say for you, my friend."

Rinshi extended his right hand, the centipede animal totem appearing in his hand. He placed it on his forehead and assumed the Yishu Master Form.

"Ah, so you're a centipede, huh?" Lothor said, laughing evilly, "No match for the Scorpion, especially one with the power of the Wind, Thunder and Samurai Ninjas!"

With that, Lothor leaped into the air, flying through it towards Rinshi, riding on the wind. As he neared, Lothor struck with enough power to crack a diamond, though he was no match for the speed of the centipede. Rinshi delivered the famed Thousand Billion Palms, delivering palm strikes at a blinding speed. With that, the animal totem changed to that of a scorpion.

"A Dai Shi?" Lothor said, realization dawning on him, "Of course!"

Lothor staggered back, smirking as he saw what needed to be done.

"Crimson Thunder!" he yelled, his right arm becoming engulfed in crimson colored, electricity, "Navy Thunder!"

Rinshi watched as Lothor's left arm was engufled in navy colored electricity. Stomping on the ground, Lothor was launched into the air by the earth, using the wind to push him higher.

"Scorpion Strike!" Lothor yelled, preparing to strike as he flew through the air.
"Scorpion Strike!" Rinshi declared as he delivered his own move.

The two struck each other, their hands meeting as they pushed against each other.

The thing about a Yishu master, if they are fighting someone with the same animal spirit, and they are powerful enough, then they can reverse and amplify an attack. The unfortunate thing was that they were both masters, powerful enough to do this. They reverse and amplified the attack continuously, continuing until it became to dangerous for one to let up.

"If we keep this up," Lothor groaned, "All of Raleigh will be wiped out! Is it really worth it?"
"The Yishu believe..." Rinshi said, pushing into the attack, "That any damage and death is deemed necessary when defeating you!"

Lothor smirked, laughing evilly as he the attack grew to dangerous levels. Soon it happened, the energy from the Scorpion Strikes erupted in the equivalence of a nuclear blast. Buildings and people were wiped out instantly as Lothor and Rinshi stared at each other.

"And that wasn't even my final form." Lothor said, winking at the readers.

Rinshi collapsed, and although he would survive, he would be useless until he awoke.
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

Alex shook his head trying to shake off the shell shock. Frost wasn't messing around. Which meant he needed to end this as soon as he could. He flew at Frost with speed that made him impossible for Frost to see and slammed into him and smashed them both against the ground, only ot have what would look like to an outside observer as a tornado. Alex was moving with such speed and force, spinning around Frost and throwing literally hundreds of blows at his face as he could. Lightning struck the surrounding area, the winds knocked over poorly held up rock formations and it sounded akin to a bunch of jets getting ready to take off.

To top it all off, Alex was firing rapid bursts of his heat vision while circling Frost, burning him over every part of his body. Frost however was in quite a bit of pain, and Alex was moving quite quickly, but that sure wasn't going to stop him. He bit his teeth and with as much effort as he could muster, grabbed Alex by his throat. His mask was beaten off, he was covered in burn lines from Alex's heat vision and was bleeding, but other than that, he was pretty much fine. "I would be lying if I said I expected this. You are one of the most powerful warriors I have ever faced. Take solace in that fact to your grave." Frost said and hit Alex with an uppercut that sent him into the sky, before following it up with a powerful blast that seemingly not only knocked Alex well away from Earth, but towards the sun. A fitting demise in Frost's mind as it was how Alex claimed to kill Cooler. To top it off, Alex's power level was, effectively, zero.

However this wasn't the case. Alex had been in his healing coma before, and being close to the sun would only amplify the speed needed to recover. "Now then. Is there anyone else left to fight before I destroy this mudball of a planet?" He asked and floated up into the air.

Hiroshi tired to sit still for the outlander, bit the longer he sat there and felt the battle to the west, he couldn't sit still and allow whoever was fighting to do this all alone. Finally, Hiroshi could sit no longer, and stood up quickly, beginning to gain speed as he jogged, his jog becoming a sprint as he turned to the Outlander.

"I'm sorry, but I've got a Acrosian to fight, even in this shape, you've seemed to replenish my energy enough, and healed the whole in my forearm, that's gonna have to do for now." He said, summoning his aira, golden flames lapping at the cracked cement before he rocketed off into the sky.

////////////

'Am I ready to face down this guy? I've never fought anyone of this magnitude before.' Unconsciously he tucked his pinky beneath his thumb. He'd always used the Jade Talon to cut anything from paper to granite, and had never questioned its origins. This technique was meant to kill people, rip them to shreds before him. Sighing deeply, he set his jaw, streaking off towards the battlefield. Canceling his aira, the Saiyan dropped down in front of the Acrosian.

"Leave. I don't want to kill you, but if I must, I won't regret doing it in the name of protecting this planet." Sliding his left foot back, he stuck his hand out, forming a claw with his right, and keeping his left hand by his hip so he could use the Jade Talon when he needed it, tensing his muscles, he readied his body for use of the Kaioken at a moments notice, steadying his breathing before the demon. His tattered Gi fluttered gently in the wind, his raven locks flowing with the push and pull of the wind, his Violet eyes set defiantly before his foe. A Saiyan ready to face his death.

Frost chuckled, covering his smirk with a hand. This boy was in shambles. Torn clothing, burns, lacerations and bruises dotted his lean form, and a bite mark? It was as if someone had taken a chunk out of his face, he'd applaud the boys pain tolerance, but Frost wanted to test just how much the boy could handle before he handed out simple compliments.

"And who are you to challenge me? The one before you was mcuh stronger, and yet you seem confident enough to face me down? Is it a Saiyan thing to face your death so openly."

"I know I can beat you. Your nothing but a murderer, who kills and tortures for his own amusement! A selfish child with power you don't even deserve! No matter what happens here today, there will always be another ready to face you down! BECAUSE YOU CANNOT KILL WAHT I AM!" A massive shock wave shook the landscape as Hiroshi pushed his Kaioken to tenfold, a blood red aira sorrounding his form, burning away the grass around him, the ground cratering beneath him.

" Hmm, your just like any other hero I've faced, and I'll enjoy destroying your precious hope little by little. Either way, your much weaker then my previous opponent, What do you intend to do hmm?'

Golden energies swirled around him as Hiroshi tensed himself. Mixed in with his anger, anger and grief at himself from his own failures, and fury for the monster before him who had so carelessly killed many before, and would gladly do the same to this planet , Hiroshi felt something rise up from the depths of his power. He'd been near death so many times, it'd never occurred to him that his body would harness that suffering and transform it into something else.

Immediately lightning rolled over his body before the ground beneath him cratered outward, spreading across the floor. Golden fire lit through the air, washing away the flames smothering burning around him. Rocky spires buckled, and the dust around them washed up into the air, before being blasted away. The sky grew black as lighting crackled across it, striking close to the pair. A golden light shone in all directions, bursting out of Hiroshi's body itself, piercing through the blackening clouds.

There was something just beyond his power, something Hiroshi wanted to reach out and grab, but at the last moment, he couldn't. It felt as if something was beyond just being an Super Saiyan, but he couldn't reach it. It slipped from his fingers just before he could grasp it, if only because his mind was pulled from all the power swirling around him, to the apparent power gap between Frost and himself. Cursing himself, but none the less ready to face down the beast, he tensed himself.

What do I intend to do?

"Try."

Emerald eyes steeled, Hiroshi burst off, his knuckles smashing across the Acrosians face, the flesh of his cheek being shoved violently agaisnt his cheek, Hiroshi's midn not registering his knuckles splitting open as he burst off after the flying Acrosian.

Phasing behind the Frost demon, he speared out his heel driving it home, flipping away as a beams filled his previous location, a afterimage fading before him. Rocketing at the Acrosian, Hiroshi drove a palm home against Frost's abdomen, the pressure exerted folding the beats over, sending the beats skidding, but no far enough for Hiroshis liking. Hiroshi followed after him, blows smacking agaisnt each other as they danced across the battlefield, the Halfing using several fighting techniques to throw off his opponent, bounding over a kick to spear his boot into the demons stomach, following with a backhand and several lesser blows against the Frost demons bruised and abused midsection.

"Impressive, you've managed a few blows, I can honestly say it's more than I expected from you Saiyan."

He said nothing, never leaving his fighting stance, giving no response as he slid his foot back, extending his clawed hand, golden flames lapping at the ground. Growling, the Frost demon burst off, the Halflign pirouetteing around his claws, bicycle kicking Frost away, sliding low to release a azure blast at his chest, an explosion rocking their rocky area, smoke obscuring Hiroshi's vision. But both knew where the other was, both keeping a conscious marker of where their opponent was.

"Getting cold- ACK!" bile filled the Halfling south as he stumbled forward, a knee waiting for him, striking his chin and sending him stumbling, Hiroshi's vision filled with stars as a fist whipped his face around, sending him skidding with its power. Hiroshi spit a wad of blood and spitlre form his mouth as he dove at the demon, swiping an elbow across his jaw, dodging a fist and driving home a fist agaisnt the biogem on Frosts chest, An elbow smashed across his chin as the demon gave a small wheeze. Hiroshi back flipped away, landing in a crouch, unable to stop the smile that spread across his features.

"What was that boy? You don't seriously think you've already won do you? Oh no no no, we've yet to begin your end." Hiroshi's aira grew wider as he cupped his hands agaisnt his forehead. Frost raised an eyebrow quizzically, just what was this boy doing?

"MASENKOOOOOO-HA!" Any unanswered questions were answered as a freight train fo golden energy shot forth from the Halflings hands, gritting his teeth, the Frost demon clasped his hads together, swinging hard, smacking the beam away into the horizon, the subsequent explosion and shockwaves mattering little to the dueling warriors.

The smoke did better then Hiroshi expected to hide his attack, three long emerald claws swiping through the cloud, ripping across Frosts chest, exploding as they slid into a spire, obsecuring his opponent.

Howling, the Saiyan charged forward, a Ki charged hand cocked back as he sprinted through the cloud, only to recieve one of the biggest shocks of the day. Frost sat there with an almost bored expression on his face, three thin almost paper cut lines across his chest, a stray trickle of blood dripping from the middle one.

"Are you done? Because I know I am!" Hiroshi barely saw the blur of motion, not knowing if it was a fist, an elbow, or a knee that shattered his nose, a resounding crack echoing across the battlefield, the follow up blow shattering his jaw and several teeth like a child would break a twig. Spinning around drunkenly, he threw several powerful blasts, blindly guessing where the blur of a Frost demon was. Azure blast detonated against the landscape, scarring its already cracked and broken surface. Frost smirked as he whipped his tail across the Sayans face, sending the disoriented Halfling into his own little crater.

'Have… to get up… must keep fighting!" Hiroshi growled as he shakily stood, a crimson tinted aura burning around his body, he could already feel the insurmountable pain coursing through his veins, what was a little more?

Howling loudly, the flames around him burst to a deep blood red color. Incredible energy burned around him, but then the wall of aging washed over him like a tsunami. Millions of tiny cuts burst up over his skin, his flesh blistered benath the heat, his eardrums burst and blood poured freely from his ears. Collapsing to his knees, he also let the agony overcome him, but at the last moment he felt it, it was as though a crack appeared in the wall holding back the energy he needed, screaming like a banshee, his body glowing almost completely, gold, he let loose a wild blast of azure energy, the beam washing over the Frost demon, it was as though the whole planet shook with the force exerted.

But the knee that sent the Halfling flying away answered his darkest fears, the demon stilled lived.

Corinna Erastos-2,187 Yrs-Spartan Ruins

The presence of the Asgardian did not last long as she left once trading words with Max. I kept out of it, while I found her interesting, I did have an accord with the King. After she was away I turned to the king. "Well, we should get started then." I stated as I gripped my spear in hand, the Hydra's blood still clinging to it. However, the rain still falling and no signs of it letting up I began to wonder if we should relocate before we began. I then voiced the opinion to the King. "Of course, there must be a more suitable place to start your training. Someplace secluded where you will be free of distractions." I recommended, but not for the cause of the poor weather. Every time I glance around these ruins, I see the destruction as if it was yesterday. I would not have come back here today had Ares not commanded it. As I awaited a response I did my best to block out the memories of that day. The burning fires, the screaming families and the rivers of blood down the streets. I then turned to Max. "So, do you have a place that fits the description?" I asked eager to escape this place.

Courtney Dawes/Scarlet Archer-19 Yrs-Gotham City

I had left the man with his own thoughts. As I was found by Oliver Queen and began my training the next day, he led me through the halls of a large warehouse he owned in Gotham, as he was going to equip me with the weapons I need in my training. There were large cases stacked all around, I was not really sure how they were organized, but we were not dressed in our 'uniforms' per se and were instead dressed in civilian clothes. "You will need a lot more than the arrows you have if you plan to be successful. Me and you, we dont have the advantages of someone like Superman or Wonder Woman. We must make do with agility, stealth and some...improvising. We cannot afford to hesitate or make mistakes." He explained, as he uncovered a case and revealed the arrows within. "We have EMP arrows, Rope arrows, Boxing Glove arrows, explosive arrows, taser arrows and smoke screen arrows. Anything you could ever need." I picked up a famous boxing glove arrow and held it between my fingers. I actually did not see the boxing glove and all that was at the end of it was a round cylinder which popped off after I shook it from which erupted a boxing glove.

"Amusing isn't it?" Oliver asked me with a chuckle. "It is." I said in some admiration. He then told me to collect an arsenal of arrows and after I did so he closed the case and escorted me to a large room with an obstacle course. He then turned to me as I let the sight of the course hit me like a truck. "You will use what you have to complete this course in less than five minutes and wont stop until you do." As I contnued to gawk at the course, I asked why we were not starting with something simpler. "Why not begin with marksmanship or something?" I questioned. He then sharpened his tone.

"Normally I would start that way, but you do not need it. You are already an expert marksman and so that is not your problem. Your problem is maintaining composure under stress, simple inexperience. But inexperience cannot be allowed in the real world. And so, you will gain that experience here. Understood." I nodded. "Of course." I said, as I began placing the bows in the quiver across my back. Then preparing the bow I held in my hands, it's warm red cherry surface was satisfying to hold. Almost comforting.

I moved over to the start of the course, as I looked ahead at what obstacles awaited me. There was a long and narrow 'bridge' over a rapidly shifting array of platforms as well as a high wall on the other side with boxing gloves randomly jabbing out of it to foil any attempts to scale it and beyond that I cannot see what lies in store.I dashed on to the course armed with my bow and desire as I set about proving that I could become more.

Hector Gage/Dragoon-28 Yrs-Gotham city

The school day was finally wrapping up and I was on my way up the steps of the learning facility as I opened the door crowds of kids began to file out into the hallways as I scanned the sea of faces for my own two kids. Now dressed in my for now clean garbage man uniform I finally found there room and their teacher. Once they saw me I could see on their faces that they could not believe I actually brought the work truck to pick them up. "Relax, I did not bring the truck." I informed them both to their relief. The teacher, a woman in her mid thirties about approached me. "So, you must be Mr. Gage." I shook her hand. "I am." I confirmed as we exchanged formalities. I then looked over at Michael and Melody as she sat me down. "Go wait outside the classroom. This will only take a minute." I assured them, as the shuffled out of the room.

The teacher was a rosy lady with red cheeks and pale skin. Her red hair was quite curly and her face decorated with freckles. "Mr. Gage, I do have some concerns for your children." She started off saying. It was easy to see I was displeased already, as I would now actually have to convince her I know what the hell I am doing.

"Your kids are very bright." She predictably began. Great, the standard crap. Bright kids but pains in the ass, at least I am not the only one. I thought as she continued. "But they are already displaying some behavioral concerns which can really hurt them. Michael has a problem disrupting the class and does not seem to take authority very well. He has seen the Principal today and it is only the first day. He was using...foul language and was written up. Has he picked this up from home?" She asked as her eyes narrowed. And then she looked around. "I am sorry, but could there mother not attend?" I shuffled in my seat.

"There mother is, gone. I am there sole caretaker now and I work two jobs. To be honest, I dont have the time to oversee all they watch on TV or who exactly they associate with. But, I will speak to him about his language and I assure you this wont be a problem in the future." She did not seem convinced, as she seemed to be reminded of a student of hers giving an expected answer to avoid being here longer. In a way.

That is just what it was.

"Ok...about Melody, her issue is not the same, but she seems entirely uninterested in doing her work. She has not even put her name on a piece of paper today. Also, she has drawn this in class, I would like you to tell me what you see here." She handed me a very well drawn picture, and I was very surprised at the skill of the drawing. But the picture was disturbing.

It was of her falling from a cliff.

"Needless to say you need to talk to her. And Michael." She then rose from her seat. "These are two very bright kids, a couple years ago they were much different in the lower grades. I knew there mother back then, and she did the best she could. They were all happy. I dont know who you are or what happened to their mother, but if I dont see a change in their behavior soon, and if I feel like they are not being properly cared for. I will ensure that they are moved to a safe location by notifying the authorities. I have never seen you with these kids before, but if you actually are their dad. You need to start doing your job." I was about to say something when she made clear the meeting was over. And so I left the room and she closed the door behind me. Looking down at Michael and Melody, I nodded and signaled that we were leaving, the halls now empty.

"Come on, we can talk when we get home." I said as I tried to convince myself that I was a better option for these kids than the system was.

Gotham City

Well, the way Len read it. It's a G-O-T-H-A-M. Gotham. Gotham? Sounds weird. He laughed for a bit at this weird name. Nonetheless he's at the outskirts of the city. Lies a bridge on his front view. This blocky things with wheels?

He made a few adjustments regarding the way he should go there. He looked for awhile, before pressing on his foot down to the road, making a crater on the ground, a big one. Not huge, not large, big. He launched himself after that, flew himself to the city. Perhaps some people watched him. But...he didn't cared.

While he was flew, of course, he recalled what he did from his crash on this planet to the Gotham. Atoning his guilty and sins, he has to be good, but well, it's a bit....

"CRASH!"

He crashed into a building in front of him. Damn, he should learn not to thinking while flying. When he woke up, he saw people in front of him, men, women, frantically screaming to him. Some pulled their phone? Frantically calling, obviously.

The Mad King watched as the Asgardian left like a hawk, his eyes never leaving her as the Goddess rode away, going to the point of physically turning himself to watch her depart. The words were rude and abrasive, but this was not a time for letting his guard down. Maxwell had not only tangled with Gods previously, he had fought them, and despite their major advantages in physical power and ability, many have a favored tactic of attacking when their opponents back is drawn. No matter, though, he did not feel like Valka was too much of a threat, and more importantly, Mad Max believed he most likely offended her and made the Asgardian feel bad.

Sighing and shaking his head, knowing he could have chosen a more tactile approach, he listened to Corinna speak. "Oh yes," He began, turning his attention to the Spartan but flashing his eyes upwards as he thought briefly. "Usually when I train, I do it inside of my head in the form of meditation. The pure amount of concentration and willpower allows me to push my body beyond human limits and lets me think and plan more concisely." However, the glaring issue being that Corinna would not be able to join him inside of his own mind, so another option must be considered.

"Since we can't share a mind-space, the next best thing would be my meditation chamber in Ur. It is large and suitable for training for days and even weeks at a time, and with the most advanced technologies at my disposal, there is no chance of disturbance from the outside world." He stated flatly, rummaging through his pockets and finding a circular device, approaching Corinna and towering over her. "This is a teleporter...and it may be the kind I copied from the Asgardians...but it will take us to my castle beneath Ur. Just grab ahold of me and we'll be off." He dictated, awaiting the Spartan.
