The Grimms
When the group finished their meal, John paid the bill and walked out with everyone to the limo that was waiting for them to take them to the hotel. They all piled into the car as it drove off to the resort. John sat quite close to Sarah, his arm wrapped around her waist as he held her close. Roy sat next to Hannah but kept a respectable distance, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable or anything.

Soon they arrived at the large luxury resort, which had an incredibly spacious lounge equipped with a glass chandelier and multiple TVs. John headed up to the front desk and came back with room keys for everyone. I managed to get us to all be within a few rooms of each other. Sarah was the only one who he didn't give a room key to. "Figured you didn't need one." He said to her with a soft wink.

Sam let out a soft yawn. "Well, goodnight everyone." She said before heading up to her own room. Roy turned to Hannah, "Well I guess I'll head up to. Unless maybe you want to hang out for a little while?" Roy asked blushing a bit. "If you're tired I understand. It's just... well its been nice talking to you. I've never really had someone my age I could hang out with." Roy told the youngest Grimm sincerly.

Cora
Cora suddenly heard some explosions outside of their tower and decides to investigate. She then saw a strange woman dressed in red and white shouting fireballs at the Blob, before knocking him hard into the ground. Cora flew down to the girl's side once the fight was over. "Thanks for dealing with him. We must have forgot about him. So you seem to have some pretty unique powers, what's your name?" The cyborg asked curiously.

Young Blood Tower
Nico wondered what Kiris was smiling about, no one had said anything particularly amusing. Then she suddenly told the that her friend was waiting for them downstairs and he wondered how she had even communicated with him. Was she speaking to him with his mind or something? However he decided not to question it, especially since he was too preoccupied with the idea of finally having answers. "Alright, let's go." Nico said as he followed Kris down stairs to Mars' lab.

Mars was sitting at his computer desk when they arrived, a very large monitor sitting in front of him with a number of desktops and other hardware surrounding him. "Good you're here." Mars said as he turned to see them. "Well, I've definitely found something on the phome. Whoever it belonged to went through a lot of effort to hide it, but well... let's just say I'm better." He said with a bit of a smile.

"You see, breaking into the phone wasn't too tough. I just ran a reverse encryption program through the phone's software and it was cracked in a few minutes, the files inside though were much better protected. Most of them were diagrams or coded texts with written instructions, but there was something else too, an audio file. All the texts were from untraceable numbers and probably from burner phones so those are dead ends. The audio file however, well that's where I hit jackpot."
"The voice in the file was scrambled." Mars told them, playing the original file as the sound of a very robotic voice filled the air, giving further instructions about the robbery and what to do with the money. "I managed to unscramble it, but that wasn't enough. You see, the audio file was scrambled three separate times, someone really wanted to keep their voice a secret. But... I managed to recreate what is almost assuredly the original file. Here, take a listen."

Mars played the audio file again and the room was once again filled with a voice. This time it was the clear sound of a human woman's voice, and Nico stood there in absolute shock, his mouth hanging wide open. Filling his ears, with crystal clear likeness, was the sound of his mother's voice, giving instructions to a robbery. Mars saw his reaction and raised an eyebrow, looking a little confused. "You know this woman?"

Darian and Serene
As they were incapacitated a blonde woman with a rabbit suddenly came up to them and asked a very obvious question. "No, we're having a party here on the ground, care to join?" Sword Demon asked sarcastically.

"Don't mind him, my brother gets cranky when he takes this form." Lightbringer said to the Rainborn. Then suddenly Auia showed up as well. Was she still following them after Asgard. Still Lightbringer couldn't deny that she was grateful for her presence when she suddenly used her owners to break the siblings bonds. Zeritin however was clearly not amused.

"You two are meddling where you do not belong! Begone!" He shouted before shouting large blasts of dark energy their way. Sword Demon and Lightbringer soon shot up to their feet and continued where they left off. Shooting and cutting down every minataur like creature they saw.

Cora
Cora frowned when the girl started to yell at her about the Blob touching her. Then the girl calmed down and introduced herself as Jamie. "Well, I'm Cora. It's nice to meet you Jamie. I'm a member of the Justice Queens. We're a local team of female superheroes. We protect New York, and help people whenever we can. You know, you did a good job taking out the Blob. He wasn't a push over. Would you like to come inside with me? Two of my teammates are inside if you'd like to meet them." Cora told Jamie, silently seeing potential in the girl as a possible member.

Darian and Serene
Zeritin snarled as Etla blasted away his dark energy with a beam of light. "This is an insult to the Demon! Die!" Zeritin shouted before disappearing and reappearing nearby, the cloud above him firing sparks of lightening at Etla in retaliation. The Sword Demon soon sprung into action, sending a huge wave of fire from his blade and obliterating half the minataur creatures that were still around. Serene ran towards Etla's side and began firing arrows to block some of the blasts of lightening that Zeritin was sending Etla's way. "Come on, we can take him out together!" Serene shouted to Etla as she continued to fire light arrows at the enemy.

Sam
Sam walked into her room and before she was sueenly grabbed from behind by some random creature who's touch Sam didn't recognize. Before she could even scream in alarm she heard DeeDee's voice and suddenly everything went black. Sam then reappeared in some barren looking wasteland, that DeeDee was apparently in charge of. Sam's mind began to fill with anger as DeeDee talked about the rules of her game, and the last straw was when she called Sam her "property". Sam had finally had enough and snapped.

"I've had enough of this DeeDee! I know I asked you teach me, but you can't keep treating me like this!" Sam shouted at her teacher. "I'm sick of you treating me like your slave or your plaything. You don't respect me at all. You can't just kidnap me and force me to fight in some sick twisted game like this! Don't you care about me at all? Or am I just another girl you can fuck around with for a little while before you abandon me?" Sam asked, a tear rolling down her cheek as she was clearly wound up emotionally.

Nico
Nico was standing in shocked silence when his sister finally spoke up. He looked over at her, seeing that she was quite upset herself now that she knew the truth. He had been right all along, but that didn't even cross his mind at the moment. He took a step closer to Cat and held her two gloved hands, making sure not to touch her actually skin so that he didn't get hurt. "I didn't want to be Cat, really I didn't. It's been killing me inside since that night I found out. But we still have each other alright? We have to stick together now, and figure out the truth of all this." Nico said to his sister. Mars sat back a bit awkwardly. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but he was pretty sure that Cat had said that her mother was the voice on the recording. That meant that one of their parents was some kind of thief at a minimum. He was quite curious to figure out what exactly what was going but knew that brother and sister needed a moment here so he merely sat by in silence next to Kiris.

Roy
Roy gave a small smile when Hannah said she wanted to hangout. He listened to her speak as they headed upstairs toward his room. As they walked he saw Hannah point to her ears, saying that she had been born with them. "I'm sure that must have made it hard to fit in." Roy said, knowing how cruel children could be. When they got inside and turned on the light Roy was shocked at what he saw. It was a large room with two Queen sized beds and a walk in closet. Not to mention the huge flat screen TV hanging off the wall. This might not have seemed too incredible to others, but to Roy it was. It was the first time he had ever stayed in a hotel before.

As he sat down on the bed in a curious manner he heard Hannah's question about him. He pauses a bit, not sure what to say. He didn't want to scare Hannah away with his very troubled past and show all of the emotional and psychological trauma he had endured. Still, he knew she was genuine in her interest in him, and part of being friends was being able to open up to each other so he had to try. He decided to focus on the newer, more happy parts of his life for now.

"Well, right now I'm living in New York. With a group of friends, who are well... Kind of superheroes. They're called the Justice Queens. They took me in a few months ago, and they were really nice to me. They understand what its like to be different, so I've been with them ever since." He told her, pausing a bit before deciding to break the silence with a question of his own. "So what about you and your sisters? Have you three been traveling together for a while?" He asked his new friend. The three of them certainly seemed close, and even though Roy didn't want to pry, he couldn't help but wonder where they're parents were. Though you could easily say the same thing about him in turn.

Darian and Serene
A bunch of Zeritin's minions were wiped out by Auia's blasts, the wolves screeched as they dissolved by her searing bright light. Zeritin continued to block the others' attacks when suddenly he was hit from behind by some invisible force. He was slammed to the ground, and shouted out in rage. "ENOUGH!" He shouted out before a black energy exploded around him as his body began to shift and transform. Soon a dark figure rose up where Zeritin once was. "Now you die!" The now much larger demon said before swatting away at the invisible force that had hit him before. The Sword Demon turned to Lightbringer. "Sis cover me! I'm going try to take him head on!" He told her before jumping into the air and charging Zeritin,

The demon chuckled and created a large hammer made out of dark energy and waved it at Sword Demon, slamming him into the nearby forest. "Darian!" Serene shouted out in concern, anger building in her mind. Let me out child. I will crush this abomination. Serene shook her head. "No I can't. It's too risky, I used you too recently." Serene said seemingly to no one. She turned to the two girls around him. "I need you two to help me save my brother. We can beat this demon together. I know we can." She said to them, before turning and notching an arrow in her bow. The bright light around the arrow began to grow gradually, illuminating everything around her. "We'll hit him together. He won't be able to withstand all our attacks at once. On three, One... Two... Three!" She called out before firing the arrow that was bursting with hot bright light at Zeritin, hoping the others followed suit.

Sam
Sam was a little worried when DeeDee shooed her demon servants off. The Grimm sister was a little worried that DeeDee would be angry that she had snapped at her. However, DeeDee seemed quite reasonable and was explaining to Sam her perspective of the situation. Sam softened a little as DeeDee spoke. It became clear that DeeDee cared about Sam in her own way. It was difficult for Sam to get used to, but maybe she could after awhile. After all, she had to admit she liked DeeDee as well. She was exciting, strong and confident. Sam looked up to her and thought she a fascinating individual.

Sam was pulled out of her thoughts when DeeDee asked what Sam wanted. Sam was a little taken aback by this. This was definitely the first time that DeeDee had ever asked Sam anything like this. Usually she was either flirting or giving orders. Sam honestly wasn't sure what to say at first. What did she want? From DeeDee? From life? Sam was always haunted with insecurity, so she really didn't know the answer to this. She finally decided to just go with what her heart told her and what was on her mind at the moment.

"I want to get to know you better DeeDee. I need to know that I can trust you, and that you're genuine in your care for me. I'm grateful for everything you've done for me so far, but if I'm going to continue with your lessons, I need to know more about you." Sam told her teacher, wondering how the half demon would react.

Sam
Sam frowned a bit at DeeDee's words. She was just going to leave her here all night? How was Sam supposed to find her way back? She had no idea where the hell she was. Still, she knew that arguing with DeeDee was pointless and she'd just have to go alone with it for now. Sam let out a squeak as DeeDee slapped her butt and then disappeared. It hurt quite more than Sam had expected and she couldn't help trying to rub the pain away.

After that Sam merely sighed and began wandering through DeeDee's barren domain. She didn't know what she would find here or what it would be like. It was totally uncharted territory. She soon found what seemed to be an entrance to a large forest and she decided to head that way, to see if she could find some shelter, or maybe someone to help her find a way out of there.

Nico
Nico was a bit surprised at how tight Cat was holding his hands, but he didn't step away or anything. Cat's anger at him finally seemed to be melting away, and it seemed to now be focused on their parents. "We'll bring them to justice sis, I promise. I know it won't be easy, but we can't just let them keep on hurting people and breaking the law."

Mars listened to Cat's words and nodded, "Of course we'll help in any way we can. It's our job to protect this city, and we'll always do that when we can. We should probably alert the while team about this. If you're parents are running some kind of criminal empire, we'll need all hands on deck for this one." Mars said before hitting a button on his computer that sent an alert to each of the Young Bloods, telling them to meet in the command center for a meeting. Mars had given each one of them a private phone that he had specially made to serve as their communicators.

"Come on, let's head upstairs. The others should already be there, hanging out with Vera's new dog." He told them as he led the group up the stairs out of the lab before turning to Cat and Nico, "So, I'd there anything you know about your parents that might give us a place to start in the investigation?" Mars asked Nico and Cat.

Nico thought for a moment. "Well, they work in a really large office building, that they well... kind of own. It's a pharmaceuticals company, one of the biggest in the country actually. Maybe they have some secrets in their office there." Nico said before turning to Cat, "You have any ideas sis? Maybe if you touched Mom or Dad, or one of their associates, we could get some evidence to turn in to the police."

Roy
Roy stiffened a little when Hannah asked about his childhood. He started to panic a little as he thought about it. He hadn't shared his pst with anyone, not completely, not even Valancy. Was he ready to show someone else the scars of his past? In many cases they were actual literal scars. Under Roy's shirt were a number of cuts and wounds that were remnants of his early youth, when he literally had to fight for survival on a daily basis. Still, Hannah made a good point. She had shared a secret with him, he supposed he owed her the trust to do the same. And when Hannah said that she never met her parents, he realized that maybe they had a connection and could understand each other. He was silent for a little while until he finally spoken up.

"I never knew my parents either. I don't know where I came from or who any of my family are. I was dropped off in a small South American village, at an orphanage. Things weren't east there though. They called me 'demonio' which means demon in Spanish. You see when I was younger I couldn't control my powers, so my body often let off this dark aura that I couldn't control. The other children in the village..." He paused, his breath a little shaky. "Well they were cruel. They would take turns beating me up, and every day I had to scrap by for food." Roy started to shake a little at this point, the memories flooding back to him. "I did a lot of things I'm not proud of. And sometimes, sometimes I wonder if they were right. If I am really a monster." Roy said, a small tear falling down his cheek but he quickly wiped it away, hoping Hannah didn't see it.

"That could work. Though I can't really control what I find, I might be able to discover something we can use by sifting through their memories or something. Though I don't think I could actually just present the memories to the judge or anything." She replied, sighing. She wondered how they would be able to get into a position to do that too. It might be dangerous, but then again she doubted they knew that Nico and Cat knew of them.

Hannah
Hannah smiled comfortingly as she suddenly gave Roy a hug. "It's okay. I'm sorry I asked, I probably shouldn't have." She spoke kindly. "But... we're pretty similar you and I, I think. Like... I never knew my parents. I was too you before we left. I did a few things that I'm not proud of either." She released him and looked him in the eyes. "You're not a monster. Trust me. I've seen monsters."

Roy
Roy was a bit surprised when he felt Hannah embrace him, but he certainly welcomed it. It felt different than when she had hugged him in dragon form. Now she was soft and warm, and he couldn't help but blush a bit as he returned her embrace. He felt almost relieved after having told Hannah about that. "It's okay Hannah. You shouldn't apologize. It actually felt kind of good. I've kept that bottled in for so long, it was nice to be able to get that off my chest." Roy smiled brightly when Hannah pulled away and said he wasn't a monster. "That means a lot to me Hannah, thanks." He told her sincerely looking back into her eyes. "You know... I don't think you're a freak Hannah." He said, referencing what she had said earlier. "And well... I think you're really pretty." He told her softly, before blushing furiously and turning his head in embarrassment.

Cora
Cora was kind of confused at the look that Jamie was giving her. Had Cora said something wrong? She smiled though when Jamie accepted her invitation to come inside. She seemed almost surprised that Cora invited her to come in, but Cora just put that on the fact that they had just met and Cora had told her she was a super hero. "Awesome, follow me." Cora said as she led her new friend to the ground floor entrance. The android figured that Jamie wouldn't appreciate it if she just flew them up to the top, Katie never did. When they walked into the lobby Cora saw Kylie talking with a new girl as well. Cora broke into a wide smile when she saw her friend. "Hey Kylie! This is Jamie." She said, gesturing to the girl next to her. "She just helped us beat up a villain so I decided to show her around." She then looked over at Marybeth, "Who's this?" Cora asked curiously.

Darian and Serene
Zeritin shouted in exertion as he raised a dark energy shield to block Etla's attack but he was clearly using a lot of energy. Lightbringer began firing arrows at rapid speed adding her own light energy to the attack. She turned to Auia and Ihra, "Come on! If all four of hit him at the same time can beat him for sure!" She shouted at them as she continued to fire arrows.

Young Bloods
Nico nodded to Cat, "You're right. It might not be evidence, but their memories might lead us to evidence we can bring to the authorities. And you're right. We have the element of surprise right now, and we have to try to keep that as long as possible." Nico told his sister as they headed toward the command center.

Mars saw Kiris fumbling with her communicator but didn't laugh or smile at the amusing scene. He had forgotten that hers would go off and was glad she was able to catch the device without too much trouble. Soon they made their way upstairs where the rest of the team was waiting. Mars proceeded to tell the team what they had recently discovered and let Nico and Cat explain their personal story. When that was done Mars spoke up again, "So now we have to decide our course of action. Any suggestions on how we should go about investigating this case? We need more information about the secret operations of Cat and Nico's parents if we want to stop them from any more criminal activity." Mars told the group.

Charmera wrote:"Welcome newbies!" Spoke a voice all of a sudden, Katie had traveled through the building electrically, zipping up the structure to where cora and Kylie were. She had a smile so wide it could have made the comedy mask look subtle. She felt energize, fantastic, wonderful. "Hi Cora... Kylie." She hugged Cora from behind, wrapping her arms around the android lovingly as she addressed the others. "So sorry, I was just wrapping up a bit down there. Talking to sheild contacts... avoiding mindy... she scares me." She remarked, then sighed. "She's awesome though, badass and awesome. She'd eat a grenade and think it was too small. Anywho, I'm guessing you two want to join the illustrious ranks of the JQ, am I right?"

Cora smiled when she felt Katie's hands wrapping around her waist. The android had gotten used to her girlfriend's sudden appearance, and was elated to see what a good mood her girlfriend was in. Cora leaned into her girlfriend's embrace as she turned to Jamie and Marybeth, "This is Katie. My girlfriend and fellow member of the Justice Queens." She told the new potential members of the team. Then she turned back to Katie. "Well Marybeth has already agreed to join, I haven't really posed the question of joining to Jamie yet. She just defeated the Blob outside our tower. He was knocked unconscious. I didn't see her do it, but it must have been an impressive feat." She then turned back to Jamie. "Well I guess we might as well get it over with. Would you like to join us Jamie? I know its a big change and you might want some time to think about it. But I really hope you decide to join us. You seem like you'll fit right in here."

Young Bloods
Mars nodded at Kiris' words when she spoke up to the group. "You're right Kiris, Nico and Cat shouldn't blow their cover just yet, it might be useful for them to try to do some spying on their own. Still I think trying to get into their corporate office could be helpful, there's got to be something that proves their guilt there." Mars then frowned a bit at Nelli's words about sacrificing animals. Even though Mars was scientifically minded, he didn't believe in killing animals like that. "Well, thank you for the offer Nelli, we'll... think about that." He said to her, deciding it'd be best to not openly reject her offer, since she seemed liked she wanted to help.

Cora
Cora followed the others upstairs, smiling and nodding at the others when they encouraged Jamie to join the team, or at least hang out with them for a little while. She had already said her piece so she didn't add more, but she was glad to see the others supporting her as well. Then she felt Katie take her hand and say that she should see a medic. Cora frowned, this was the third straight time that Katie had done something like this after a fight. "Katie, I'm fine and no we don't really have a medic. You don't have to worry about me so much sweetie, I'm always careful and I would never let myself get hurt because I know how much that would hurt you. I mean, you were hurt worse than I was. Magneto almost chocked you to death." Cora told her girlfriend, wondering why Katie was so worried.

Darian and Serene
Zeritin tried to hold off the attacks, but soon it became clear that the massive amount of light energy was beginning to overwhelm him. He shouted out in pain as the light began to touch his skin and gave off a severe burning sensation. He was eventually overwhelmed and fell to the ground, reverting to his original human as he collapsed from exhaustion. However, his form suddenly disappeared and dissolved into dark energy before disappearing entirely. Serene sighed as Darian rose to his feet and began to join the others. "They always disappear when we defeat them, and they get stronger all the time." She said, weariness in her voice before she turned to the others. "Anyway, thank you all for your help. I'm not sure we could have survived if we didn't have your help." Serene told them sincerely.

Charmera wrote:Hannah blushed at that comment, she had not often been told that she was pretty, much less really pretty. Her sisters said it a few times, but it had never been said by a member of the opposite sex. Most boys were far too distracted with Sarah to notice her with anything other than confusion. She was after all odd looking. Her ears stood out for miles.

“Really…?” she asked, surprisingly shyly now.

Roy blushed a little as well, still shocked about what he had said himself. It seemed like Hannah was surprised that he had called her pretty. He realized she probably didn't hear that a lot at all, which made him feel quite said. It wasn't like he was saying it to be kind, he genuinely believed she was beautiful. "Really Hannah, you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen." Roy said earnestly, his embarrassment slowly being replaced with a desire for her to believe him. "You know, you're my first friend really. At least, the first one my age. I always wanted a friend, someone I could talk to and trust. I feel like I finally have that now. Thanks to you." Roy told Hannah, clearly becoming more willing to open up to her about his feelings.

Mars
Mars heard Nelli's uncertainty about where she would be staying and frowned a bit. He hadn't meant to make it seem like she wasn't welcome there. "Well, you could always stay here Nelli. We're always open to people who don't fit in, who need a place to call home." Mars told her sincerely. He had grown greatly on an emotional level the last few months and now saw the Young Bloods as a very important thing for people who were outcasts and didn't fit in elsewhere.

Darian and Serene
Serene thought Etla was a bit odd, but couldn't but laugh a little bit when she pulled Cloudy out of some weird dimensional portal. "He is pretty cute." Serene admitted with a smile. Meanwhile, Darian turned to Ihra, "Ya, we're okay. Just some bumps and bruises is all." He said before suddenly transforming back to his natural form in a short blast of fire. "That demon was a particularly nasty one." Serene nodded at that, "Thank you all for your help, but Darian and I should probably be going now. These attacks are unfortunately frequent things, and we wouldn't want ti put all of you in danger." Serene said the three women before her. She barely knew these women but she didn't want any harm to come to them.

Sam
Hours later, around 4 or 5 AM, Sam reappeared in her room through a brightly colored portal. She looked quite tired, and her clothes were slightly ripped and dirty, and her hair was disheveled and a bit messy. It had been quite an adventure making her way back to her room and right now all she wanted was to take a shower and fall asleep.

Mars
Mars smiled when Nelli said she'd stay, "Good I'm glad. Maybe we can figure out some way for you to help after all." He told her before turning back to the group. They then discussed a plan to infiltrate the headquarters's of Nico and Cat's parents, and after figuring out a strategy each member had a role to play in getting inside and securing information. Once that was done Mars dismissed the group and let everyone go off on their own. He personally made his way back downstairs to continue working on the numerous pet projects he had going at once.

Cora
Cora couldn't help but smile at Jamie's question and clapped twice before the far wall to which the couches and chairs were facing began to become ajar and expand away from the center, revealing a very large flat screen tv on the wall. "Nice enough for you?" Cora asked with a bit of a grin. "So I guess you really like technology right?" Cora asked Jamie trying to make conversation. "TV has been an interest thing for me to discover. Though sometimes I wonder why people need so many channels."

Mars
Mars was doing some electrical work on one of his helper bots when he heard a knock on the lab's door and heard Kiris speaking to him from the other side. She said she wanted to talk and Mars quickly turned off his small sodering iron and walked over to the door, wondering what Kiris wanted to talk about. He opened the door, and saw Kiris standing there like expected. "Hey Kiris, so what did you want to talk about?" Mars asked, his mind going back to the last time they were alone, which made him blush slightly but he pushed thoughts away hoping Kiris wouldn't notice.

Sam
Sam walked into her room through the portal and approached her bed. She suddenly blushed furiously when she realized DeeDee was laying inside it, fast asleep. To make matters worse, the pile of clothes on the side of the floor indicated that she was nude under the blankets. Sam nearly froze in shock. She had no idea what to do. She wouldn't dare get into bed with DeeDee, especially when she was naked, but she needed a place to sleep. She then had an idea, remembering that John given DeeDee a room key to her own room. Sam moved quietly and began to search through DeeDee's clothes for the key, hoping not to wake DeeDee who was sleeping on the bed next to her.

Darian and Serene
Serene paused a bit when Etla asked her to tell the story of why the demon was attacking them. Serene wasn't sure what to say, it wasn't like she could just advertise how her brother was possessed by an ancient spirit that if released would kill the entire world. "Well... I mean, its a long story. That guy was a demon, who serves an evil master who is also confusingly referred to as 'The Demon' he is a capital D demon though so that's the distinction. His followers are trying to free him, and they think we're the key to doing that." Serene explained. It was key that that wasn't the whole story but she was trying to keep her older brother out of it.

Mars
Mars sat down and listened intently as Kiris discussed what had happened to her. He sat quietly, and let her finish completely before speaking. He was quite surprised to hear that Hadrimmelis had appeared before her. He had heard of the world dragon both through the news and the many stories and tales that Kiris had told him and the rest of the team about her. He then blushed a little as Kiris began talking about their friendship, and how he was the one she trusted the most. His mind had also drifted back to that time on the jet, when they had fallen asleep in each other's arms after promising to be there for one another. "Mars reached out and took Kiris' hand, though he was more holding her wrist than her hand as to avoid her sharp claws. "Kiris, I trust you too. More than anyone I've ever met. Ever since... Ever since my parents were killed I've had a hard time trusting anyone, but for some reason its easier with you. I know it must be a burden, being afraid of hurting the people you care about. You weren't being selfish at all, in fact you were worried about the people around you. You know... The last thing I'd ever call you Kiris, is selfish."

The Next Morning for the Grimms
Sam managed to make it DeeDee's room, take a shower and get into bed. She was still fast asleep when most others would probably be waking up. Her magically abilities made it so she didn't need to sleep as much as an average human, but she was exhausted from escaping DeeDee's dimension and definitely needed a few hours to recover.

Meanwhile John was slowly awaking from his sleep. He laid in bed with arms wrapped around Sarah, their blankets covering his otherwise naked body, which was now dotted by a number of bite marks. He looked quite tired, but there was a satisfied smile on his face as he leaned down and gently kissed Sarah's neck, almost in greeting. The night had been incredibly unusual for John, and still wasn't sure how to feel about it, but he also knew it was incredibly satisfying and that he enjoyed it, even if he wasn't quite used to the new experience. He wasn't really sure where he and Sarah would go from there. He had never thought of it as a one night stand, but he wasn't sure if Sarah felt the same.

Sarah was still fast asleep as she lay on her boyfriend's arms, a playful smile present on her face even as she slumbered, her exposed flesh tucked in under the blankets. The last night had been quite tiring for her, but it had been very pleasant and satisfying as well. It was always amusing to see how her partners reacted to her very particular behavior, and this time had been no exception, though in John's defence he had been a good boy and hadn't freaked out. Feeling the kiss on her neck awakened, drawing her back from whatever dreamland she had drifted off to during the previous night and causing her to open her scarlet eyes, her smile widening as she saw John next to her. Sleepily, she sat up on the bed, the blanket falling off her body, and stretched her arms, yawning. Then, she suddenly leaned towards John and kissed him passionately, not letting him go until she found herself short of breath.

"Well?" She said after catching her breath somewhat, though she was still panting a little. "What do you think?" She asked. "Can you pay the price of being with someone like me?" She inquired, a mischievous smile still present on her face.

John was caught off guard a bit by Sarah's passionate kiss, but he certainly didn't mind it. When Sarah finally pulled away he was breathless but smiling. He heard Sarah's question and was glad that it seemed like she wanted to see him again. "Well, I've certainly made stupider decisions before." John replied playfully, before sitting up and pulling Sarah into a soft embrace. "Last night was great, I've never experienced anything like it. It was strange... But I'd like to get used to it." John told Sarah sincerely, excited to have someone so adventurous in his life.

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:Still blushing, and very much aware of it, Kirisvala had the impulse to turn away to hide it, but she kept her eyes on Mars, driven both by her curiosity and slight anxiety about what he would say in regards to what she had told him, and also simply because she enjoyed looking at him, though the thought of it turned the red tinting her cheeks into an even brighter shade. However, as she noticed that he was blushing too, and as she felt him grab her claw despite the fact that it might be dangerous for him, she felt at ease, she felt happy and a smile spread across her features once again. Said smile only grew wider as she listened to him tell her that the trust was mutual and that he felt comfortable with her as well. It meant a lot to her, and she felt her heart beating faster due to all that had happened and due to her own bliss.

However, her smile faded away when she heard him say that his parents had been killed. She was shocked to hear about it; he had not mentioned it before, not even during the time they spent together in the jet, when they had confided in each other, but it explained many things. Now with a saddened expression, the Hadrian girl walked closer to Mars, casting away her fears for a moment and wrapping her arms around the genius, pulling him into a hug, making sure that her claws did not touch him, but still embracing him, sharing her warmth with him. "So that's why you were so angry when we met." She said with a hint of sorrow in her voice, recalling their short-lived fight. "That's why you were lonely." She spoke softly. "But you don't have to be lonely again, because I promised to be there for you." She continued, before smiling.

"Your words mean a lot to me, Mars. I'm happy to know that you think I did the right thing. And I'm glad to know that you trust me too." She said, hugging Mars more tightly for a moment, carried away by the emotion she felt at the moment. "I'm just happy I can count on someone as smart and kind and, u-umm, as handsome as you." She said, before pulling away and kissing Mars' cheek again. She was still blushing brightly, just like before, but this time, she did not hurry away or avert her face, she simply continued looking at Mars with a slightly embarrassed smile, waiting.

Mars hadn't even noticed that he had mentioned his parents. He had never even told Kiris about that before. He welcomed Kiris' embrace and didn't even really notice when she tightened the hug, because he would have done the same. He felt and comfortable in her arms. He blushed brightly though when she called him handsome. No girl had ever said that to him before and just when he didn't think he could blush anymore Kiris kissed him on the cheek again.

Mars was almost frozen for a few moments, before he finally spoke up, "Thanks Kiris, You're... uh you're really pretty too. I never thought I'd have a friend like you." He told Kiris before bravely leaning in and softly kissing her cheek as well. When he pulled away he cleared his throat, feeling that the awkwardness was becoming nearly unbearable. "Well, I've got some stuff to do to prepare for the mission tonight. You can stay if you want. But if you want to get ready yourself, I understand."

Darian and Serene
Serene was a bit surprised when Etla, Ihra, and Auia all decided to join them. She was about to say no, but then she thought about it for a moment. It had been just her and Darian for a while. I'd be nice to have some new company, and it was clear that these three could take care of themselves. She was about to agree, when Darian had other ideas.

"Sorry, but it's best if we travel alone." Darian told the others. He had always been very suspicious of strangers, ever since that day they wandered into that temple in Egypt.

Serene turned back to her brother. "Darian, they want to help. And it's clear that we need it. They're getting stronger every day." Serene to her brother who was silent for a while before giving a resigned sigh.

Serene smiled and turned to their new friends, "We appreciate you guys wanting to come with us. We're on our way towards a mountain prek. Supposedly there's a guru there who can... well, help us with a problem we're having." Serene said, still unsure about telling their new companions about the truth of their predicament.

Capital Planet of the Kandar Empire
A large fleet of battleships entered the surrounding solar system of the Kandar capital. They had entered through a massive magical portal created in space by the ships themselves, thanks to the cooperation between the mages and scribes of the Yazara. In the message that they had received from the Kandar, they were told what the mission was. They had no interest in protecting any planet outside of this solar system, there was no point in bothering. The ships began to spread out in a defensive position around the solar system. Meanwhile four of the largest ships headed straight toward what they were fairly confident was the capital planet.

The Yazara were rather new to the intergalactic political game, so they would mostly likely not be known by many others, but they had certainly heard of the Kandar. Their society was similar to that of the Yazara, and they had always respected the strength of the Kandar. Thus when they heard the large civilization's desperate plea to help, King Marriac was quick to respond. On the lead ship that was preparing to enter the Capital's atmosphere was the King himself, as well as his chief general, his son Togara, commonly known as the Hammer of Asugar. Togara stood stoically on the command deck as the ship slowly descended into the atmosphere, after declaring themselves and announcing their intentions to the Kandar government. These four ships were the largest and had a large amount of empty space, and this was so that they could take as many survivors onto their ship as possible, including the Empress and her daughter.

Togara was not too fond of this mission. He wished to be out there, fighting this great threat, not saving people who were too weak to defend themselves. However his father was the Dragon King and until Togara ascended to that position himself and became the transcended dragon, he would have to obey. Soon the Capital City of Kandar came into view. Togara studied it intently, knowing it that soon, it would be wiped from existence.

Grimms
John smiled at Sarah's teasing question. "Well, that was before I met you. I couldn't arrest someone as cute as you." He told her playfully as they got out of bed together. John went to shower, and when he got out, got himself dressed and heard Sarah say that Sam had a tough night. He raised an eyebrow curiously, "How do you know that?" He asked as they went to leave the hotel room to find the others.

Sam had woken by now and got dressed, yawning a bit as she headed toward her room. She was about to open the door with her key when she paused. DeeDee was in there and who knows what she was doing. She then knocked a little hesitantly on the door. "DeeDee? You in there?" Sam called through the door to her teacher.

Roy had woken up as well and as he was getting dressed, he was thinking about the time he and Hannah had spent hanging out the night before. It was a lot of fun, and it felt so nice to be able to make a connection with someone else. It seemed like Hannah really understood him. He wasn't sure what would happen now, but he hoped he'd get to see Hannah again.

Young Bloods
Later that night, the Young Bloods had began their infiltration of Jump Tech Pharmaceuticals' corporate headquarters. Mars had built small devices that gave the user temporary invisibility and had finally unveiled them to the team to use for this mission. Using this device he headed toward the building,s security room, Vera accompanying him for back up. Meanwhile Kiris was providing cover for Nico and Cat as they headed toward their parent's office to search for evidence. Rin was acting as the eyes and ears for the team, well more ears but you know what I mean. She was also working with Xyri who was using her malleable form to search for inconsistencies in the building's infrastructure that might lead them to hide a hidden room or passageway.

Yazara
The Yazara delegation exited their main ship once they had landed on Kandar Prime's moon. King Marriac and Togara led the small group, with two men standing on either side of them, holding poles bearing the flag of Yazara, a large red dragon breathing fire. Marriac was a massive man, at least two feet taller than most tall humans. He wore heavy armor and bowed his head when they reached Soran who was representing the Empress. "We are glad to be able to help in your time of need. However, where is the Empress? Will she not be coming with us?" The king inquired, before ordering Toraga to go and greet the princess while he and Soran spoke. Togara sighed but obeyed his father's command, splitting from the delegation and heading toward the princess' location.

Charmera wrote:"The emperess is attempting to buy us time. She's commanding troops on the surface. They are weathering the first wave, though they are merely testing our defenses. Make no mistake, this is a final stand for many of us. Though I will try to see if she's aviable to talk or assist you. She very much would like to meet you" Soran remarked. "There are two other things that need to be done as well, if you do not mind of course." He spoke. "One, there is a weapon deep within this planet we believe the slimes may want. And two, we believe they may be summoning their... God. Stopping them may be in your interests as well in that case."

The princess looked up at Togara. She got up, nodding slightly. She was tall, about seven feet tall. The empress was even taller it was said, about the same height as the king. The Princess bowed. "It is an honour to meet you." She spoke with a soft and nervous voice. She was trained, but not tested in combat.

Marriac looked at Soran curiously, "Summoning their god? What exactly do you mean by that? Regardless, we will help you in the fight against these slim creatures. If you wish, I can send troops after this weapon of yours, and then the rest of my forces shall join your fight against these creatures to stop them from summoning their so called god." Marriac told him. "And do not bother the Empress if she is in battle, I was just merely wondering if she would be escaping with us. It would be a shame for her to be lost as well."

Meanwhile, Togora watched as the princess stood to greet him. She was quite beautiful, and around his height. He bowed his head slightly in respect. "My name is Togara your highness, son of King Marriac of the Yazara. We're here to protect you and take you away from the approaching invaders." He told her simply, and probably a little more calmly than was usual for this kind of situation. Togara had very little fear in death, and saw battle as just a part of life.

Cora's First Christmas
Cora sat on her(well her and Katie's bed as she folded her clothes to put them into her new draw. She was moving her stuff into Katie's room that day. Since they decided they wanted to start sharing a room and Cora didn't have nearly as much stuff as Katie, it only made sense that she would be the one to move. As anxious and excited she was about, there was something else on her mind as well, Christmas.

Cora was vaguely familiar with the holiday and had already been exposed to the decorations and the music, however... it just wasn't clicking. She didn't understand the holiday, or what it had to do with a baby being born thousands of years ago. Still Cora knew how excited Katie was about their first Christmas together so she had tried to do some research and figure out what was so important about this holiday, but nothing was clicking. She could always fake her enthusiasm, but that felt dishonest and she didn't want to lie to Katie, Sighing the cyborg went on with her task, wondering why this thing called Christmas was so difficult to understand.
