Cora
Cora watched as Magneto raised his hand and she got ready for an attack that was clearly coming her way but Katie stepped in front of her and stopped the attack. Cora felt a rush of admiration and love for Katie as she stood up for her and threatened Magneto if he tried anything against the android. It was becoming clear that a fight was unavoidable when suddenly another large mutant came flying into the building and was staring at Cora quite uneasily. Cora had no idea why all these people were suddenly breaking into their tower but it started making her really mad. This was their home and she wouldn't let these strangers hurt their tower anymore than they already had. She turned toward the stranger, her fist clenched, "Who are you? And what do you think you're doing breaking into our home like this? We don't take kindly to intruders, so I suggest you just leave now." Cora said, energy starting to flow around her as a clear indication of her anger.

At the Convention
Mars had arrived at the convention that Craig had invited him too and was in awe of the company that he was currently in. He didn't speak much at the beginning of the conference, merely taking in the words and ideas of the great minds around him. He thought their conversations about war was quite fascinating, and Mars found himself wondering about whether or not they had the right to enforce rules in order to ensure peace. However he was broke out of this thought as Craig suddenly collapsed onto the ground, claiming to hear a voice. Mars looked quite concerned and stood up, wondering what was wrong with Craig and clearly worried about his new friend's health.

Nico
Nico was sure he was about to get shot when suddenly Cat grabbed the gun away from the criminal and smashed into pieces before knocking the shooter to the ground and grabbing a nearby enemy and throwing them to the ground as well. Nico was truly amazed at his sister's ability. He stared at her almost in awe. "Wow sis that was amazing. You saved my life. I'd be dead without you. Thank you." He said to her sincerely before hearing near by footsteps as it became clear that the police were finally able to breach the bank and were coming in to seize the criminals. Nico turned to Cat. "We should get going sis. We don't want to be on the news or anything." He said to her, quickly heading toward the back entrance of the bank. However on his way out Nico noticed one of the criminal's phone spilling out of his pocket. Nico paused, maybe this could be an opportunity to learn a bit more about who these robbers were. After all, they were all very well and uniformly equipped. This couldn't have been a random robbery. Nico picked up the phone and slipped it into his pocket before he ran out of the back door before the police could arrive inside the bank.

Mars
Mars gave a small bashful smile when Kiris called him dummy. That had almost become like a pet name for him by her. Normally he would be angry at being called that because he was quite sensitive about his intelligence, but with Kiris he understood it as a term of endearment. He was about to say goodbye to Kiris when she suudenly walked toward him and kissed him on the cheek. Mars flushed brightly and seemed almost frozen as Kiris ran off out of the lab. Mars wasn't even able to say goodbye as she left, but after she was gone his hand slowly went to rest on the place on his cheek where Kiris had kissed him. Now that his immediate embarrassment had begun to fade, Mars started to feel quite happy. He wasn't sure what that kiss would mean for his and Kiris' relationship, but he was excited to find outt. He felt like he had finally found a true friend in Kiris, and the rest of his team as well. Xyria, Rin, and Vera were like his family now, but with Kiris it felt different. He wondered if Kiris felt the same way about it, but had no idea how to talk to her about things like that. Because despite his incredible abilities and intellect. At the end of the day Mars was really just a shy nerdy guy who didn't really have much experience interacting with people. He had always been closer to machines than people, but Kiris and his teamates were slowly changing that, and he was struggling with how to reciprocate, with how to show them affection and how much the Young Blood family was starting to mean to him.

Disney
Roy was in awe when Sarah summoned shadows to essentially swallow up the enemy guards and then relinquish them in their unconscious state. "Wow, can you teach me that?" Roy asked sincerely. He had never met another person who could manipulate shadows before, and so never really had someone to teach him how to control his powers. Sam grinned at her sister's comment. "Never doubted you sis, now come on. I know where the bombs are." She said, leading them inside the large castle as they walked through the staging area of the theme park attraction. They were suddenly met with a large cluster of explosives lined across the wall. "Wow, that's a lot of bombs." Sam said as she placed her hand on one of them as she moved along the stream f wires to find the sight of detonation. Sam soon found it was about to disarm it when suddenly a voice interrupted her.

"Not so fast." Called a young man's voice as the heroes' attention was drawn to a nearby tv screen were thye could see the face of Anarky staring at them. Soon a number of armed thugs came running into the room, pointing their automatic weapons at Sam, Roy and Sarah. "You heroes are so predictable? Can't you realize what we're doing here is necessary? No, you just follow the law like lamb to slaughter. Well if you're not with us, you're against us. And you won't be making it out of here alive."

Mars
Mars had barely recovered from the kiss that Kiris had planted on his cheek when Rin suddenly came down to his labs to ask him a favor. He was surprised as Rin's request, and he wasn't exactly sure why it would make sense for her plan to involve screaming, but she said she needed his help so he decided it'd be best to play along. "Sure I guess. I can help." Mars said to Rin as she turned and walked away. He soon followed up and went up the stairs and headed towards Rin's room where he found her. "So, what is it you want me to do exactly?" He asked her a bit curiously. He had been helping Rin with her sound proofing project, and it seemed like it was going along pretty well based on the way the room was structured. He was starting to understand why screaming was going to be necessary, though he wasn't sure how excited he was to be right.

Disney
The guards suddenly turned around in shock when they heard the loud roar behind them. There was now a huge dragon like creature standing before them, speaking some unknown language and holding up fire balls menacingly. Roy himself was also quite shocked, not by Hannah's form but by how angry and hostile she seemed. He was a bit worried that she'd do something that she would regret. Still she gave them a perfect distraction and he wouldn't waste it. He created two spheres of dark energy around his fists and fired them at two of the guards who were knocked to the ground while the other guards began to respond with gunfire, but the bullets were blocked by a large wall of ice that was summoned by Sam. Then John came running forward behind Hannah and struck a number of the thugs with hard punches, knocking them to the ground. Once the enemies were dealt with Anarky's image reappeared on the televise screen.

"Useless henchmen, well I grow tired of this. Come to the throne room heroes. And that's where we can settle our business, and I can end your meddling in our liberation." He said before the screen went blank once more. Roy went up to Hannah and took her dragonoid hand softly, looking up at her. "Hey, are you okay? I just want to make sure you know everything is alright and we're safe." Roy said softly hoping to calm Hannah down so her beast side didn't take over fully.

Mars
Mars waited inside Rin's room as she walked outside and closed the door, wondering what exactly was about to happen. Suddenly Mars heard a harsh noise that rattled around in his brain as he winced in pain and fell to his knees as he staggered to keep on his feet. He wasn't seriously injured, just in pain when Rin came back into the room. Well... The walls still need some work." He said, still wincing a bit as he spoke to her.

Cora
Cora nodded to Katie's mental sign and was startled when she was thrown out of the window but was relieved when she heard her voice and knew she was okay. She then turned to Apocalypse and went after him at high speed, tackling outside the already broken window. She threw him toward the ground where he landed with gentle ease. He then raised his hands and sent huge blasts of blue energy Cora's way, which she returned in kind with her own yellow blasts. Cora had clearly become much stronger and was going toe to toe with the Egyptian villain. She wanted to make sure Katie was okay, but she needed to focus on her own fight and couldn't get distracted otherwise she'd put herself in danger.

Nico
Once they were far enough away from the bank Nico turned to his younger sister when she asked about the phone. "I haven't looked yet, and as to why I took it... I'm not sure. I just had a feeling is all. He then clicked the home button on the phone and was met with some serious encryption, not just your average four digit lock. "Wow, whatever is in here, that guy did not want people to find it. We have to figure out a way to get into it. Maybe we can figure out who hired them to do the job." Nico didn't say it, but he was hoping he would find a link to his parent's criminal organization, so he could finally prove to Cat that he was telling the truth.

Mars
Mars slowly stood up as Rin came rushing toward him, and he managed a small smile to let her know he wasn't upset. "It's okay Rin, I know you didn't mean to." He told her sincerely. He was a bit surprised when she then punched him softly on the arm, but he recognized as a playfully, if still a little awkward, gesture. "Sure Rin, I can help you try to fix the design a bit. Maybe we can add..." He was cut off when Rin kissed his cheek and he blushed brightly at the action. What were the odds of this happening twice in one day? Mars wasn't sure what that kiss might mean, but he was veey glad that Kiris wasn't there in that moment. "You're welcome, it was no trouble." Mars said, trying to stay as calm as possible. "Well, Vera should be back from her patrol soon. What do you say we go see how it went?" He suggested, trying to break through some of the awkwardness that was in the air.

Mars
Mars was surprised when Rin suddenly mentioned Vera having a puppy. Mars hadn't heard anything about a dog, then he realized that Rin was listening to their teammates across the tower. He now understood Rin's power much better since they had met and put his hand on Rin's shoulder when she apologized. "It's okay Rin. I know you can't control it." He said to her sincerely as they made their way toward the command center where Xyri and Vera were currently and then Mars saw the puppy walking around curiously as well. Mars had never been too comfortable around dogs, so he kept his distance from the pup as he spoke to Vera. "Hey Vera, so where did you find this guy?" Mars asked her curiously, motioning toward the small dog.

Disney
Roy was a bit surprised when Hannah pulled him into a hug, however Roy didn't pull away and leaned into her embrace, not speaking either and just standing there silently with the large were-dragon. Sam smiled brightly as she saw the pair, before freezing the igniter to the bombs and disarming the threat. She didn't want to ruin her younger sister's moment. But they had a job to do, and after that she and Roy would have plenty of time to be lovey dovey. "Alright, we should get going now. Anarky is waiting for us." John nodded, "Come on, I know the way. I saw it on the way in." John said leading them down a few hallways until they saw Anarky sitting on thrown, wielding two electric batons as about half a dozen armed guards surrounded him.

"Well, I'm glad you made it heroes. I would have liked for you to join our noble cause. But you've chosen your side and you'll pay the price for it." Her told them, jumping down from his throne and waving the baton's enticingly as the electricity sparkled from them.

Nico
Nico frowned a little at his sister's first comment, but was distracted from it when she discussed the robbers memories. Apparently when she absorbed their energy she took their memories too. That was really cool. He pulled the key off the back of the phone and looked at it in awe. "Great catch Cat! As for what we should do. Well, let's see what you think about my idea for the encryption. Have you heard about the Young Bloods Cat? They're this new superhero team made up of kids like us. I thought maybe someone there might have the equipment necessary to decrypt the phone. Maybe then we'll get some answers as to who hired them." Nico said, not sure what Cat would think about his idea. He wasn't sure she'd be very enthusiastic about approaching the Young Bloods with this.

Cora
Cora was surprised but relieved when Valancy showed up in support of her and Katie. She watched as the two earthen fists smashed into Apocalypse but then watches with alarm as they suddenly broke apart in a large energy blast.

"You'll have to do better than that to defeat me witch!" The Egyptian Pharoah shouted out to Valancy. Cora snarled at that comment. "Hey don't talk to my friend like that you walking fossil!" She shouted before heading toward Apocalypse at high speed and punching him. Apocalypse was knocked back by the punch but managed to maintain his balance. He then raised his hands and created a large energy blast that he aimed toward Cora. Cora saw a brief opening to strike but hesitated and the moment was lost. Apocalypse then launched the large energy blast at Cora and sent her flying hard into the JQ building.

However, as Cora wished in her mind that she had a another chance to get it right, she was suddenly brought back to the moment before Apocalypse had launched the strike and she didn't hesitate this time. She rushed at him at full speed before he could launched the strike and slammed into him. Knocking the large man hard into a nearby lamp post. Cora stared down at herself for a few moments, completely confused by what had happened. It was as if time had just gone in reverse, and her mistake had been totally erased from existence. How could that even be possible? What was happening to ber?

Anarky quickly jumped out of the way of Hannah's fist quite gracefully as his men began unloading their clips at her. Sam began firing blasts of dark energy at the soldiers while Roy headed after Anarky. He took out his collapsible staff and expanded it, charging at the red hooded criminal as the two engaged in battle. Anarky saw his men being taken out and knew that he wouldn't stand much of a chance with Hannah still being a problem. Therefore he needed to do something drastic to make his escape. He pulled a grenade from his vest and managed to knock Roy's feet out from under him, holding the young man by the neck and holding the grand in his hands with his fingers around the pin. "Alright, I'm leaving now. Anyone tries to stop me, and shadow boy here goes boom with me." Anarky told the others looking straight at them.

Nico
Nico have a smile at his sister. "Hey, we just stopped a bank robbery sis. If we can do that, imagine what they can do. Besides, you've seen at tower in the sky? They're clearly well funded, and maybe they have the tech we need to figure this mystery out." Nico told Cat before calling a cab and taking the short drive towards the island that held the Young Blood tower. They would normally just use their family limo, bit their parents had the driver keep records of their travels, and Nick didn't want them to know where they were going. Soon they arrived at outside the tower and headed toward the lobby door. Nick looked up at the tower, a bit in awe. He had seen large buildings before, but the fact that this one belonged to crime fighting teens made it extra cool. He then rang the front doorbell, wondering who or what would answer.

John was quite surprised by Sarah's anger. She had been quite for most of the trip and looked quite tired. It was clear she was very frustrated and angry. He frowned a bit, knowing that this vacation hadn't gone the way he had planned. He knew it wasn't exactly his fault, but he couldn't help but feel like these chain of events might have ruined his chances with Sarah. He pushed those thoughts from his mind and focused on helping Roy, though it didn't seem like he needed much help anymore. Thanks to Sarah and her frankly scary speech, Anarky seemed like he couldn't move at all. Roy realized this and carefully wiggled out of the villian's arms and after grabbing the grenade from his hand, slamming the hooded vigilante hard to the ground. Roy then turned to Sarah, clearly a little shaken up, but physically unharmed. "Thank you Sarah, you saved my life." Roy said gratefully to her. John then spoke up, a little nervous about speaking to Sarah directly in the moment so he spoke to the group as a whole. "Well, I'll call in to the police and let them know its safe to come in and secure the park. We did really good work today."

John smiled, almost in relief when Sarah grabbed his arm and wrapped it around her. He was glad to see that he still had her affection. He held her close to his chest as they stood together and smiled at her request. "Of course, there are some good restaurants around here to go to. Not anything incredibly fancy, but good food." He said before continuing. "I'm sorry if this trip hasn't been what you were hoping for so far. Tomorrow we can stay in at the hotel if you want while Sam, Hannah and Roy explore the park again. They have couple massages and stuff like that at the resort. There's also nice shops and stuff on the boardwalk. We can take a walk around there, whatever you want."John said, clearly genuinely interested in wanting Sarah to enjoy herself.

Roy smiled when Sarah ruffled his hair, unused to the behavior, but clearly appreciative of it. He quite liked Sarah, they had just met and she already felt like the older sister he never had. Well besides Kylie, who was also the older sister he never had. He was then surprised and very grateful when Sarah said she could teach him what she knew about darkness manipulation. "You can? I'd really appreciate that Sarah, thank you." Roy told her before hearing Hannah's gagging and turning toward her.

Hannah looked quite ill and Roy ran over to her in concern. "Hannah are you alright?" He asked as she gaged, putting his arm around her back to brace her. He frowned when she said it was a result of her changing form. "I'm sorry you have to go through that. You were amazing though back there. You really helped me and your sisters out." He then blushed when Hannah asked if he could come to dinner with them. He knew about dating, but had never really experienced it first hand. Though he didn't even know if this would count as a date since other people would be there, but he knew he wanted to spend more time with Hannah if he could.

"Sure" Roy said as casually as possible to try to hide his nervousness. "I don't have any plans or anything. So I'd like to come with you guys." He said, a smile finally breaking through on his face.Joh then called his driver who met them at the nearby parking lot and drove them off to a nearby restaurant. John sat with Sarah, holding her close, his fingers intertwined with hers. They soon arrived at a large steakhouse nearby. It was a pretty diverse restaurant and John usually went there when he was in Florida. It had barbeque, steaks, seafood, as well as a number of salads and an digger dishes as well. He figured this would be the perfect place for Hannah who clearly needed the pick me up. They head inside and we're seated at a Tae for five. Roy sat next to Hannah almost immideatly, and Sam couldn't but smile as she sat on Hannah's other side, picking up her menu as she browsed what the restaurant had to offer.

Nico
Nico watched cautiously as Nelli raised her knife and then suddenly made a small cut on her finger. He was startled when she suddenly stepped towards him and pressed her bloody finger against his forhead. He wanted to back away, but he was worried she might attack so he just stood there as she seemed to be in some kind of trance for a few minutes. Then he suddenly heard her speak and was shocked. "Wait, you can speak our language now?" He asked as he wiped the blood off of his forehead. "Well hi, my name is Nick and this is Cat. So are you with this Young Bloods team too?" He asked her, thinking she might be one of the people from this team, she certainly seemed strange enough to be.

Grimms
John couldn't help but smile at Sarah's very forward statement about her plans for tomorrow. "Well, how could I say no to that?" He grinned to her before kissing her on the lips as they walked toward the Limo.

Once they were at the restaurant he grinned as Sarah ordered a bunch of dessert. He ordered a steak and a soup as he wrapped his arm around his sleeping girlfriend. She was tired quite oftem, John wondered if that was a side effect of her powers.

Sam nudged Hannah when the waitress came over to hee. "Come on Hannah, you have to order." The middle sister prodded as she ordered her own salad. Roy ordered a rack of ribs for himself as he looked over at Hannah with a bit of concern, hoping that she was okay and wishing that he could make her feel better.

Grimms
Sam couldn't help but smile as Hannah shot up, and ordered nearly all the meat on the menu. She was amused to see the waiter's befuddled face as he walked away. Roy was equally surprised at how quickly Hannah seemed to gain energy. He couldn't help but smile a bit at her order. "Wow, you're really hungry huh?" He said to Hannah, joking playfully a bit with her. After about 15 minutes a few waiters came out carrying all the food of the group. Most of it was going to Hannah, but they brought a number of desserts for Sarah too. John nudged Sarah gently. "Sarah, your dessert is here. If you don't wake up... I'll give it to Hannah." He said in a teasing tone.

Nico
Nicole listened to Nellie as she rained herself and said she wasn't with the Young Bloods. "Well, we tried ringing the door bell, but no one has answered so far. Maybe they're busy or something, but we could really use their help with a problem."

Cora
Cora was snapped out of her thoughts when Valancy suddenly saved her. She chided herself mentally for getting distracted and nodded to her teammate in thanks. She then watched as Valancy trapped Apocalypse so that she could hit him. She was charging up an energy an energy blast to shoot at Apocalypse when suddenly she saw Katie out the corner of her eye. She was being strangled to death by Magneto. Cora's mind filled with rage and fury. She would not let him hurt Katie, ever.

"LET! HER! GO!" Cora shouted in absolutely fury. Creating a very concentrated blast of energy that she shot towards magneto that exploded in a huge blast of pure ki.

Grimms
John couldn't help but but chuckle at Sarah's comment about her dessert as he moved his arm off of her to eat his steak. Suddenly then though Sarah pulled him into a kiss after taking a bit of her chocolate cake. John was surprised, but certainly didn't mind. When she pulled away, he broke into a wide smile. "Well, I think I just found my new favorite way to eat cake." He said half jokingly.

Nico
Nico saw Kiris pop her head out of the door and suddenly dissappear again, before reappear wearing a red hat. She then asked them what the problem was. Nico wasn't sure why the hat was so important, but he decided not to question it and held out the cell phone to Kiris so she could see it. "I'm Nico and this is my sister Cat. We stopped a bank robbery today, and we found this on in of the thugs' pockets. We tried to look inside, but it's encrypted. Do you think someone on your team could help us access the information so we could see who hired them?" Nico asked Kiris, still holding out the phone.

Mars
Mars saw the puppy sniffing around him, and wasn't sure what exactly to do. He leaned down awkwardly so he was closer to the dogs height, "Hi" he said simply, as if the dog was a person who could respond. He gingerly reached out to pet him, as he knew dogs often liked that, though Mars didn't seem too enthusiastic about it himself.

Cora was shocked when Magneto suddenly raised massive buildings in the air and was preparing to throw them at her and Katie. Cora had no idea what they would do when suddenly Katie appeared behind Magneto and seemed to have hijacked the buildings right now under him. Katie then trapped Magneto in his own attack, and Cora couldn't help but look up in awe. Her girlfriend was amazing, and had just saved Cora's life. The android would have to thank her for that later. For now though she had to deal with Apocalypse who was still being held down by Valancy's magic. Cora smiled and flew closer to the mutant and raised her hand as a large ball of ki energy grew above it. She then shouted out and cast it towards Apocalypse and when it impacted against him it caused a large explosion, though Cora had made sure the energy would be concentrated as to not hurt civilians. The blast would surely hurt Apocalypse if not knock him out completely.

Nico smiled at Kiris' compliment, she seemed quite nice, if a bit strange. He followed her into the building and sat down in the waiting room along with Nellie, figuring it would be rude to enter the team's private living space with Kiris. He saw Nellie grab an apple and begin to peel it expertly with her knife. Nico still didn't know how he felt about Nellie, she was quite strange after all. Still, he decided it wouldn't hurt to get to know her. At least, he didn't think it'd hurt. "So Nellie, where did you say you come from exactly?" He asked her trying to learn more about the girl that pressed a bloody finger to her forehead.

Mars was with the others when Kiris suddenly came up to the room saying she needed help. "What do you need help..." Mars started to ask before suddenly Kiris yelled in glee about the puppy. Mars couldn't help but smile. He had to admit, her reaction was quite cute.

Sam
Sam was eating her salad when suddenly she felt a pair of arms wrap around her and she jumped a bit in surprise before she heard DeeDee's voice and knew who it was. Sam flushed bright red at DeeDee's words and her licking Sam's ear. DeeDee want to embarrass Sam and it was working quite well. "Uh... Hi DeeDee, what are you doing here?" She asked, stuttering a little bit before quickly adding, "Not that it isn't nice to see you or anything. I just wasn't expecting it is all." In all honesty, what Sam was really curious about was how DeeDee seemed to be able to know where she was all the tkme. Was that some kind of spell? Either way, Sam would have to worry about that later. Right now she had to do her best to not die from embarrassment.

Roy raised an eyebrow as some strange woman appeared from a ball of fire and hugged Sam. He had no idea who this woman was or what she was doing there, but she seemed to be making Sam uncomfortable me so Roy spoke up. "Hey, leave her alone." Roy said to DeeDee, looking straight at her. Sam heard him and spoke up, "It's okay Roy. DeeDee's a friend. She doesn't mean any harm. But thanks for looking out for me." Sam told Roy, not wanting to start a fight between him and DeeDee.

The Grimms
Roy blushed a little at both Sarah and DeeDee's comment before sitting down again and hearing Hannah speak to him. He had let her eat in peace because he knew that she was quite hungry, but he was glad for an opportunity to speak to her. "So you met this woman in Gotham? Well she definitely is... Eccentric, but you're right Sam can take of it. I guess I was just paranoid. I'm not very good with surprises or sudden movements. My comba..." He stopped, not sure this was the best time to talk about his more than troubled history. "Well, let's just say I've had enough of those for my life time." He said, frowning a bit before breaking it out of it when he saw Hannah pouncing on her steak. "Well I'm glad you're enjoying it. You deserve it after you wrecked those guards today?" Roy said in appreciation, Hannah had saved his life multiple times that day and he was quite grateful for that.

John couldn't help but grin and flush a bit at Sarah's flirtatious comment. She was incredibly seductive and bold, more than John was used to but he found that he enjoyed it quite a bit and found it endearing coming from Sarah."Well, I'm just glad that I have such an enthusiastic teacher. Maybe tonight you can give me my first lesson." He said flirtatiously, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Sam continued to blush furiously at DeeDee's words, burying her face in her sweatshirt to in embarrassment as DeeDee pulled up a chair. Sam's face shot up though when DeeDee spoke about her seeing Sam naked, not even recognizing the fact that she didn't even have a birthmark to begin with. "What!" Sam called out in shock, feeling like she was about to die of embarrassment.

Mars
Mars raised an eyebrow when Kiris said that a group of people gave her a phone that was "crypted" which Mars assumed meant encrypted. He listened as she explained that they had gotten it off a bank robber and wanted to know who hired him. Mars was quite curious about these people and nodded as he took the phone from Kiris' hand. "Alright, I'll look into it. This doesn't seem like it will be too hard to crack. But, we should find out more about who these people are too. Do you think you could go talk to them again Kiris? Find out who they are and what they were doing at a bank robbery?" Mars asked his friend, as he examined the phone a bit, he would head down to his lab soon to figure out what was inside that was so worth protecting.

Nico
Nico heard his sister's complaining about why she listened to him. He was starting to get annoyed by her blaming everything on him, but he tried to keep a positive attitude. "Come on sis, this is an adventure. What would you be doing otherwise laying in bed? We can actually help people now. Ya its weird, but that makes it exciting too." He told her before turning to Nellie. He truthfully didn't understand anything that she had said but he figured it would be rude to admit that. "Well... That sounds interesting. So this Hall of Descent is where you learned this blood spell thingy?" Nico asked before Nellie offered him a slice of the apple. Nico smiled and nodded. "Sure thanks" Nico said before taking the slice from her and taking a bit from it.

Cora
Cora's blast slammed Apocalypse into a crater and the android soon followed up her attack to make sure that the mutant was knocked out. Luckily he was, and soon the police and special government agents had arrived, to take Apocalypse in custody, and hopefully they had a prison that could hold him. Cora then flew over toward Katie. "Hey sweetie, we took care of Apocalypse. What should we do with metal head here?" She asked, gesturing toward Magneto.

The Grimms
John couldn't help but smile at Sarah's teasing words as she carrassed his face. It was becoming clear to him that Sarah enjoyed teasing with him, and messing with him, and he was starting to get better at recognizing it. "I don't know Sarah, you're pretty cute when you're tired." He told her with a grin on his face.

Sam blushed brightly again at Sarah's words, realizing her mistake. She had to calm down and stop letting DeeDee effect her so much. She listened as DeeDee talked more about wanting to see her naked, trying not to get frazzled anymore. Then she saw DeeDee magically summon a hamburger to her, and her eyes widened in interest. "Where'd you summon that from DeeDee?" Sam asked, her embarrassment being replaced with an eagerness to learn.

Meanwhile Roy heard Hannah's question and paused for a moment. Roy didn't honestly know the answer to that, but only because he had never met his parents nor did he know anything about the circumstance of his birth. However, he had his powers for as long as he could remember, so he supposed that was the answer. "Well, I think I was born with them. I don't ever remember not having them. I've only just recently learned to control them though... It wasn't as growing up with them." Roy admitted to Hannah but didn't elaborate futher. "So, what about you. We're you born being able to... transform?" He asked her, not really sure how else to describe Hannah's powers.

The Dark Damned Heart

Well hi everyone one. This is the first time I’ve ever written any historical document like this before so I’m not exactly sure what to say. It’s funny actually, I was always so bored in history class and now I’m making my own. Anyway, I suppose it would be best to tell you a bit about myself before I start telling my part of the story. Well, my life was pretty normal for a while, well expect for the fact that I was a mutant. You see I always struggled to find my own way in life. I never fit in with the Brotherhood or the Xavier Institute, I never wanted to be another face in the crowd. I was really a loner for a while. But that all changed one day, the day that the Justice Queens were formed.

It all started on my day off. I headed towards my favorite beauty salon when suddenly I realized that it was being held hostage by a well-dressed redheaded woman. I went in, all ready to fight a villain super-hero style, but then everything changed. It turned out that the hostage taker was an android named Cora, who really just wanted someone to talk to, and who didn’t know how to make friends. My decision to sit down and talk with her instead of fighting turned out to be the best decision I had ever made. Without it, I would have never joined the Justice Queens, and I wouldn’t be the wife of the most beautiful loving woman in the world.

Hopefully the Justice Queens have been fully restored by the time you’re reading this and you’re not asking yourself who the heck the Justice Queens are. Just in case that’s wishful thinking I’ll tell you anyway, because they are too important to me to be forgotten. The Justice Queens are… Well were a group of female superheroes who decided that they wanted to work together to help protect people in their home of New York City. It started out as just five friends who wanted to fight crime together, but then we grew into something more. We were really starting to make a difference, at least until the Demon showed up. The Justice Queens aren’t around anymore, and our tower stands as an abandoned memory, but our spirit and desire to serve justice will never die. But, I’m starting to ramble now. I should get back to telling my part of the story.

Roy was the one who introduced me and the other Justice Queens to the Grimms. Roy had met them at Disney World when he had gone on vacation. That was where he and Hannah had first met, and they were stuck together like glue ever since then. Hannah was a really sweet girl. She reminded me a lot like Cora, someone who just wanted to fit in but didn’t know how.

Anyway, the Grimm Sisters, Roy, Sarah’s boyfriend John, and Sam's kind of girlfriend DeeDee arrived at our tower late one night after their trip to Egypt. Cora and I were fast asleep in our bedroom when suddenly the roaring of a jet engine could be heard overhead. We got up and got dressed as quickly as we could before heading upstairs to see what was going on. We were soon joined on the roof by Valancy, Naja and Kylie, who were also curious about what was going on. The wind was blowing hard on a cold windy night and so as we looked up at the landing jet I wrapped my arms around Cora for warmth.

Soon the black jet’s door opened and six people came talking out onto the landing platform. I saw Roy walking out with his arm protectively around Hannah, looking a bit like he had seen a ghost. Valancy walked up and gave Roy a hug hello. Despite their relatively close ages Valancy had been like a mother figure for Roy ever since he had first come to JQ tower. The rest of the party soon came out of the jet as well, all of them looking equally distressed, except for DeeDee who was playing idly with her magic and smiling and winking at people nonchalantly.

Roy and Valancy had walked off slightly and were having a hushed but intense conversation. I didn’t hear much of what they were saying, but the bits I heard were along the line of “Possession”, “What do we do?” and then the word that stuck out the most to me, “The Demon.”

I left Cora’s side and went over to Hannah, she looked quite upset about something and Sam was standing near her, holding her hand in support. “Hannah sweetie” I said as I pulled her into a warm hug, “I thought you were staying in Egypt for a few more days?” I asked her but before she could answer Sarah spoke up. “We should go inside, we have a lot to talk about and its cold out here.” She said, wrapping John’s arms around her as the group headed into the living room together.

The three couples spent the better part of an hour explaining what had happened in Egypt, and talking about what they should do now. “He’s quite right now, but I know he’s still in there.” Hannah said grimly about the Demon. “I can’t really explain it, but I… can feel his presence.” Everyone was eerily silent for a while until Roy finally broke it. “Valancy and I were talking before. She believes that Hannah is indeed being possessed by… something. Va;ancy says she has some contacts who deal with these kind of things. In the meantime, I think we need to take a breath and figure out how to help Hannah cope with this thing being in her mind.

We continued to talk for an hour and then decided to have some food before people eventually decided it was time to go to bed. Hannah had already fallen asleep on the couch so Roy had picked her up and carried her to a spare room.

They were always such a sweet couple, and I know they loved each other very much. It was like they were destined to be together, after each of them had felt like outcasts for so long. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about that da… Well, I don’t think that’s my story to tell.

Anyway, I suppose I’ll end things here with a simple message. Please never give on people no matter how lost they seem or how many terrible things they’ve done, people can always be brought back into the light. To get out of bed each morning, I have to believe that even the darkest heart, can be made to shine again.

Katie Prince, Former(and hopefully Future) Leader of the Justice Queens

Chapter 4

After the council meetings, headquarters was filled with chatter and movement as people simultaneously prepared for the offensive tomorrow, as well as the festivities for that night. It was a bit grim and out of place to have a party before going off to war, but Sam had always insisted on it. She believed it was important for her people’s moral and gave them a chance to say goodbye that they wouldn’t have on the battlefield.

Dinner came at 6:00 PM sharp as it always did. The compound ran on a tight schedule, to assure that time and resources were not wasted. The dining hall was filled with a mixture of nervous and excited chatter as the prospect of a party and then an impending battle created a strange atmosphere.

Kiris walked along into the large cafeteria to eat, and was accompanied by Xyri, Rin, Chorus, and Verse. After a small incident where Xyri almost absorbed half of the buffet. Rin sat down nervously next to Kiris, it was clear that she had something to say. “Umm Kiris, I heard you and Mars talking today.” That didn’t surprise Kiris too much. Rin heard almost everything that happened in the compound, whether she wanted to or not. Kiris knew that Rin would be nervous about it, especially since she was going to the dance with Mars tonight. It had been Kiris’ idea in the first place. She thought it’d be good for the both of them, even though she wasn’t exactly happy with the jerk who was her genius ex-boyfriend at the moment.

“It’s okay Rin. That had nothing to do with you, or the party tonight. I still want you two to go, I think you’ll have a good time.” Kiris said, giving her best attempt of a smile. Rin looked noticeably relieved, and gave a smile of her own as she began to eat her food. Soon Craig came over to the table with a smile, his arm wrapped around his rainborn wife Elta. “Rin, Chorus, and Verse, we’ll be having a Beta team meeting after dinner, to go over the plan for tomorrow.” Craig told his team, and Elta giggled a bit.

“You know Craig, he always wants to have a plan. Don’t worry though, Sam picked the right team for the job tomorrow. Messing with the enemy’s communications will be fun!” She said to the group before her and Craig walked off hand in hand to their table where Ihra, Mars, and Cyborg were sitting.

Kiris thought about holding a team meeting, but after what had happened between her and Mars early that day, she decided it wouldn’t be a good idea. It made her terribly sad that her and Mars could barely stand to be in the same room together anymore. She fought back the feeling of tears welling in her eyes as she thought about all the happy times the two of them had had together. She gave a heavy sigh and pushed her tray away, evidently not hungry anymore. Xyri saw this and wrapped an arm around Kiris. “Don’t be sad, you have friends here.” The giant slime girl said softly, before following it up with a question. “Uh Kiris, are you gonna finish that?” She asked referring to the Hadrian’s tray of food. Kiris couldn’t help but break into a smile.

“Sure Xyri, go ahead.” Kiris said to her friend who then quickly slammed her face into the tray, absorbing the food and making her friends around her chuckle.

About two hours later, a large number of people began gathering in what was the resistance’s make shift reception hall. There was a stage at the far end, and a wooden dance floor in the center. Chorus, Verse, DeeDee, and Kiris usually took turns providing the musical entertainment. People were already dancing as DeeDee and Kiris sang a duet together.

Mars had shown up a little late and came in through the back entrance wearing a blue dress shirt and beige dress pants. His hair was combed halfheartedly, it was clear that dressing up was not his element. He was never really comfortable at these kinds of parties and hadn’t actually gone to one since he and Kiris had broken up. He made his way toward the front entrance and saw Rin standing there in a pretty black dress that matched her large headphones. She heard him before she saw him and was looking at him a bit awkwardly as he walked towards her.

“Hey Rin, sorry I’m late. You look really pretty.” Mars said a bit shyly but sincerely.

Rin smiled at that, “Thanks Mars, come on lets dance.” Rin said taking his hand and half pulling him onto the dance floor.

Meanwhile Valancy was sitting with Roy and the other former members of the Justice Queens. Valancy had managed to convince Roy to come to the party despite how angry he was earlier that day. Valancy turned to Roy with a bit of a smile, “Would you like to dance Roy?”

Roy merely shook his head, “No thanks Valancy.”

The primordial frowned, “Come on Roy, it’s a party. You need to try to have fun sometimes. You can’t put so much pressure on yourself.”

Roy merely stood up abruptly, tired of the same old speech, “I’m going to go get a drink.” He said, walking away toward the large coolers with drinks in them. Alcohol was harder to come by these days but luckily not impossible. DeeDee proved particularly good at scavenging supplies for them.

Roy grabbed a beer out of the cooler and turned to see Kiris sitting sulkily at a nearby table. He followed her gaze and saw that she staring a bit longingly at Mars and Rin who were on the dance floor together. “Not in a party mood either huh?” Roy asked as he pulled up a chair next to her.

Kiris jumped a bit as she was heard Roy’s voice but then managed a small smile as he sat down, though it was clear that she wasn’t in the greatest of moods. “I guess I’m just longing for the way things used to be is all.” Kiris told the young man who took a swig from his beer and nodded.

“I know that feeling, believe me. This world is so fucked up, sometimes you just wonder what we’re even doing here anymore.”
Kiris looked up at him. “Well we have to keep hoping, that’s all we can do. We have to hope that we can find the light again, somehow.”

Roy gave a weary smile, as if listening to the dreams of a child. “I hope you’re right Kiris. But I’ve seen too much bad to believe in the good without any proof.” He said, taking another sip of beer before continuing. “So, if you don’t mind me asking, what happened between you and Mars? I see the way you two look at each other, what came between you?”

Kiris’ eyes narrowed and she gave a deep sigh. “We lost some friends during the Demon’s invasion. I know everyone did, but Mars lost someone really close to him. When that happened, Mars just… He just changed. He lost his kind childish side, and drive for knowledge and just became obsessed with revenge. Now all it seems he thinks about is building weapons to kill demons and well… It broke my heart. He barely spent any time with me or any of our friends and I could never even talk to him to try to convince him to get help, so I just gave up and I left.” The Hadrian told the mutant, at this point tears were flowing down her cheeks.

Roy reached over and gently took her wrist to try to comfort her. “I’m sorry, didn’t mean to uncover old wounds. I know what it feels like to see someone change right before your eyes. It’s like a piece of you disappears with their old self. Maybe you should try to take your own advice though, keep looking for the light, wherever you can find it.” Roy told her, handing her a napkin to dry her tears.

Kiris took it gratefully and couldn’t but smile. “Well, I think I’m going to head to bed Roy. I’ve got a busy day tomorrow, but thanks for listening.” He told her, standing up and giving Roy a kiss on the cheek before heading off to the barracks to rest.

Roy was a little surprised at this and futilely tried to suppress the blush that rose to his cheeks. A few minutes later Kylie came walking up to the table and grabbed Roy by the hand. “Come on Roy, Valancy said you needed cheering up and I want to dance.” She said with a bright smile as she forcibly but playfully pulled him from the table and onto the dance floor.

Meanwhile one person was noticeably absent from the party, the army’s leader, Samantha Grimm. Just because she thought the parties were a good idea didn’t mean she ever went to them. She spent her nights before battle in the same place every time. It was a private room with a dirt floor and filled with fresh flowers and an unmarked grave. Sam knelt by the grave in silence, tears in her eyes. This was her ritual, and she forced herself to do it so that she never forgot what she was fighting for, or who she was fighting for. Hannah, can you hear me Hannah? She asked through the mental connection that she and her sisters had once shared. It had been silent for over two years, but that didn’t stop Sam from attempting to use it.

Hannah, if you can hear me. I need you to know… I need you to know that I love you. I always have and I always will. I’ve often wondered if we could ever come back from all this bad, or if things would just always be downhill from here. But then I remember the cute little girl clutching her teddy bear, and I remember that things weren’t always like this and they won’t always be like this. I know you’ll probably never hear this Hannah, but I’m coming for you. We’ll speak again dear sister, in this life or the next.

With that Sam clutched onto the grave and tears began to flow steadily from her eyes. The woman who held the weight of the world on her shoulders was really just a frightened girl who wanted her family back.

Nico
Nico looked up at Nelli's finger in a bit of awe. He still didn't understand most of what she was talking about, but he knew an average finger would not normally heal that fast. "Wow, that's really cool." Nico told her sincerely. "So you can do a bunch of spells with blood? What else can you do?" Nico asked curiously as Kiris came back downstairs and asked him and Cat about themselves. Cat basically covered it in her reply, and Nico wasn't sure there was too much to add. He had this nagging urge to mention his theory about their parents, but he knew that would upset Cat so he didn't bother. Though that didn't mean that he wasn't secretly hoping that what was on that phone might lead back to their parents' organization.

Cora
Cora smiled brightly at Katie's words and pulled her girlfriend into a gentle hug. It seemed silly. They had already confessed their feelings for each other, and had been dating for a little while. Of course Cora knew that Katie didn't want her to die. But something about hearing it in that moment made Cora very happy. "I didn't want you to get hurt either. When I saw Magneto choking you... All I could think about was stopping him." Cora confessed as the police came to take away Magneto as well. Cora turned back to Katie and Valancy, "Come on, we have to fix up the parts of the tower the baddies broke." Cora said with a smile before flying up to the JQ living room, entering through the hole that Apocalypse had made.

As I was talking to Sam, my tail began wandering off on it's own, I'm still not used to it so it mainly moves on instinct, it grabs what I want and considering what I want most here is Sam it began wrapping itself around her leg without me even noticing wile I was talking to Sam.

"The thing is, to get a result when using magic usually even master and student have a different route getting there, on the surface it may look identical, but there will be small deviations, sometimes so small anyone would mistake it for identical. The route I took to making this hamburger, was destruction magic. By destroying I created."

Sam listened intently to DeeDee's description of how she materialized the hamburger. 'So what did you destroy to make the hamburger?" Sam asked curiously, already thinking about what in her magical arsenal she could use to accomplish such a feat. Suddenly she felt DeeDee's tail wrapping around her and Sam shifted a bit uncomfortably. "Uh DeeDee, your tail is kind of on my leg." Sam said a little awkwardly. It didn't seem like DeeDee even really noticed, but with how much DeeDee enjoyed messing with Sam it was hard to tell.

The Angel and the Demon
Darian and Serene had made their way from Asgard and began their wandering adventures again. They didn't really have a destination, they never did, they were just trying to stay a step ahead of the demons that were constantly chasing them. That was starting to wear on them however, especially Darian who was struggling to keep the demon within him restrained.

"Well, what's next?" Darian asked as they they walked through a large forest. They were in the wilderness somewhere in northern Canada.

"Well I'm not sure brother. The angel says that she feels the demon inside you getting stronger. We need to find a way to fix you. She says she brought us here because there's some ancient guru in a nearby mountain. She says he'll be able to help us." Serene told her older brother. The Angel was a spirit of light that possessed her, but unlike Darian and the Demon the two had a much more friendly relationship.

"Why can't she just use her magic or whatever and just force the Demon out of me?" Darian asked his sister, frustration in his voice.

Serene sighed, "I told you Darian, it doesn't work that way. Angel says she cannot expel him, not without killing you at least. And even if she did that, the Demon is free from his bonds now so he'd just migrate to a new host. The original spell would have kept him sealed, but now that is broken and he's free."

Darian frowned, "So you're saying this is my fault?" He asked in a demanding tone.

"No Darian! I'm not, I'm just telling you..." Serene stopped as she heard rustling around them. They weren't alone. Suddenly they saw a number of dark figures running around them at high speeds, and soon they were surrounded by large shadow creatures that looked the Minataur from the old Greek myths. There were at least a dozen of these creatures complimented by a half a dozen me that looked like wolves, but had glowing black eyes and dark clouds of energy surrounding them. In the center of it all stood a man with long dark hair, wearing ancient looking robes that made him look like a character from a fantasy novel.

"Well well well, you two certainly get around, but you weren't hard to track. Our master's presence can be felt from almost anywhere." The man said with a cocktail smirk.

Serene's hands went to her bow, as Darian's went to his blade. "Who are you?" Serene demanded, her eyes narrowing as she prepared for a fight.

"My name is Zeritin. Now enough talk, we're here for the boy. He is the key to the resurrection of our master and the beginning of a new world, our world." Serene drew her bow and suddenly transformed into Lightbringer.

"You can't have him. Now begone foul creature." She told him, light shining bright around her as the presence of the Angel could now be clearly felt.

Zeritin scowled, "You're the fowl one. You and that abomination you harbor. You'll die and with you, the light will perish from this world!" Zeritin shouted as his followers began charging at Lightbringer.

Grimms
John was shocked at Sarah's sudden change of mood. He had no idea what she was upset about, but was quite relieved when her angry look broke and was replaced with a cute smile. John gave a relieved smile of his own and kissed the chocolate off of Sarah's cheek. "Sorry sweetie, I'll try to remember that."

Sam continued to listen to DeeDee as she explained her teaching methods. It made sense to Sam. She did struggle with creativity and self doubt, and that was definitely what she needed help with. "You're right DeeDee, that's what my problem is. I'll try to get better at being creative." Sam told the demon before realizing that DeeDee hadn't moved her tail from around Sam's leg. Sam blushed when she realized she couldn't really move without DeeDee, and was glad her sister spoke up to provide a distraction.

"Well, it's getting kind of late. Maybe we should head back to the hotel?" She said to the group before turning to John, "You think you could get rooms for Roy and DeeDee if they want stay too?"

John nodded, "Sure, I think I can manage that. The owner of the hotel is a friend of mine. He'll help me out." John said with a smile.

Nico
Nico heard Kiris ask about the cellphone and he decided to answer. "Well, as we were running out of the bank, there was one of the robbers passed out on the ground. I saw his phone in his pocket and I decided to take it. I know that might have been wrong, but it looked like a professional crime and I figured we could learn something about the people who did it." Nico told Kiris, still withholding his theory about his parents. He then turned to Nelli who he realized was being left out. "This is Nelli by the way." He told Kiris. "We met her when we got here, I suppose she can tell you about herself better than I can." Nico said before sitting down again.

After about a half an hour, Kiris heard a voice in her head. It was Mars, using the telepathic connection that Kiris had established between them. Kiris? It's Mars. You and the others should come down here. I decrypted the phone. Come down and I'll show you what I found. Mars told his friend through thought speak.

The Angel and the Demon
The large minataurs charged forward toward Lightbringer and Darian, their footsteps shaking the ground beneath them. Darian unsheathed his sword and a blast of flames suddenly surrounded him that was so strong it disintegrated two of the minataurs in front of him. Now he was the Sword Demon fire sparking off of his body and armor. "Come on! Fight me!" He shouted in almost animalistic voice. When Darian took this form, he became more aggressive and embraced part of the darkness inside him. He had to be careful not to lose control completely though, oherwise the
Demon would take control and Darian would be lost forever.

Sword Demon and Lightbringer both fought the horde of monsters that charged them. "Begone, insults to purity!" Lightbringer shouted as she fired two arrows simultaneously into one of the Minataurs. The creature let go a wicked howl as the arrows made contact with its flesh and attempted to raise it's ax in retaliation. However, the arrows suddenly began to glow in a hot flash of white light and soon exploded in a burst of energy. The minataur and two of its nearby brethren were suddenly encompassed by the blast and when the blinding light faded, no traces of the dark creatures remained.

When it became clear that his minions were no match for the siblings, Zeritin stepped forward menacingly. "You think you are strong, because you wield ancient magic? You are children playing in adult clothes. I will teach you what real power is!" Zeritin shouted before releasing huge blasts of dark energy at Darian and Serene. They were both taken by surprise and knocked down by the blast that were now holding them in place.

"Let us go you freak!" Darian demanded.

Zeritin merely chuckled. "You have no power over me mortal. You will soon be a distant memory." He said smugly as suddenly the wind began to pick up and an ominous dark cloud was swirling around the demon in wizard robes.
