Mars
Mars was quite relieved when Kiris smiled at him and said she loved the device. He wasn't sure if she grasped it's full potential yet, but he supposed it didn't really matter, she'd find out soon enough. She seemed much more interested in it as a piece of jewelry, which made Mars blush a bit, his light cheeks tinting red. He realized jewelry swas something you gave a significant other. In his mind, Mars tried to tell himself that this wasn't that case, that he was just giving a gift to a friend, but even he didn't believe that at the moment. He then saw Kiris offer the necklace back to him. He wondered why, but then heard her request and his blush deepened. "Uh sure, no problem." He responded shyly, taking the necklace from her hands and taking a few steps behind her. He slowly and gently moved her hair out of the way, before placing the necklace around Kiris' neck. His finger tips lightly touched her skin as he secured the clasp.

Once the necklace was on he stepped back, trying to hide his blush he cleared his throat. "We should get going." He said simply, trying to hide his embrassement. Rocket stood up from his seat and the three of them headed off the jet and into the open field that they had landed in. Mars checked the small monitor on his wrist and spoke to Kiris, "The facility is nearby, just past this forest ahead. Stay sharp, we don't know what we'll encounter here." He said as they headed into the small forest.

As they walked through the trees, a soft rustling could be heard nearby. Mars stopped, and Rocket spoke up, "I detect a heartbeat on my radar. It is nearby and above us." "It's probably one of Bain's thugs... We have to be..." Suddenly an arrow was shot out of the air and landed in front of them, causing a cloud of smoke, making Mars cough. "Who are you?" A now nearby voice demanded. As the smoke began to clear the figure became visible. It was a young man seemingly a few years older that Kiris and Mars, probably in his early twenties. He had a composite bow knocked and aimed at them, wearing a red hood and eye mask. He was clearly not messing around and had an angry look to him. "Well, are you working for Bain?" He demanded of them, his bow ever at the ready.

Mars
The archer's eyes were drawn to the pebble flying in the air just as Mars was tackled to the ground by Kiris. The archer fired an arrow quite quickly, that went flying past the two members of the Young Bloods. Rocket heard Kiris' words and sprung into action. He rushed at the arched in high speed who fired three arrows in succession at the robot but they all bounced harmlessly off his armor. The archer seemed to reach for another arrow in his quiver when Rocket grabbed him by the collar, and tossed him on the ground as his bow fell off to the side.

Mars slowly untangled himself from Kiris, looking a little embarrassed at how vulnerable and helpless he had been. "Thanks" He said to Kiris as he got to his feet and headed toward the archer, pulling his small plasma gun from its holster and pointing it at him. "Who are you?" Mars demanded. "One of Sionis' thugs?" Mars demanded.

Tha archer merely scoffed, "Kid, you clearly don't recognize me." The archer said with a smug grin. "I can tell by now that you're not any of Bain's thugs, you don't fit the type. The name is Red Arrow. I'm here to stop the gangs. Now what about your two? What are you doing here? This isn't a kids game." He said to them, and Mars was starting to get mad.

"We're not kids, we're heroes too. We're members of the Young Bloods, and we're here to take out this factory too. If you're so good, then why did you just get beat by two kids?" Mars asked angrily.

Red Arrow merely shrugged, "You took me by surprise. You're girlfriend here is really smart on her feet." Mars blushed brightly at this. "She's not my girlfriend." He said indignatly.

Red Arrow smiled at that, 'Whatever kid, but the bottom line is we're all here right? So how about we work together huh? That robot of yours seems like he can come in handy."

Mars clearly didn't like the idea, even though he knew they could definitely use the Red Arrow's help. Still, his pride wouldn't let him admit that. "No thanks, we don't need help." He said, not caring that it wasn't really true.

Cora
Cora listened to Valka introduce herself. She seemed quite nice, but there was clearly a lot on her shoulders. "My name is Cora ma'am. It's nice to meet you. Whatever is threatening your home, Katie and I are willing to help." Cora said sincerely.

Suddenly there was another flash off light and a young man and woman appeared in Asgard. It was Darian and Serene Astarious, looking around appearing quite confused. "Where the hell are we?" Darian asked to no one in particular, his sword slung over his shoulder as he looked around cautiously. His sister was a little less on guard and was amazed by how beautiful Asgard seemed. "Wow!" She exclaimed. "Whatever this place is its amazing!"

Mars
Mars frowned when Kiris clearly contradicted him and told Red Arrow their names and everything. He clearly wasn't happy being contradicted, but before he could even think of something to say about it Red Arrow smiled at Kiris' response and spoke. "Well its good to meet you Dragon Mage. As for the enemy, I've been scouting their movements quite a bit. They're both locked up in a gunfight inside the factory. Black Mask's crew is controlling the warehouse, while Bain is held up in the production facility. We should go after Sionis first and then we can head inside after Bain."

"If you know where they are, then what are you doing out here?" Mars question, clearly not liking the fact that Red Hood knew so much more than him about the situation. Red Hood didn't seem fazed by it though. "I heard some of Bain's goons saying that they had some scouts here, thought UI would pick them off first. Now come on, let's get to the factory." Red Arrow said to the two of them before heading off toward the other end of the forest and expecting them to follow him.

Mars reluctantly followed behind with Rocket and Kiris, before turning to Kiris and speaking quietly. "You shouldn't trust people so easily Kiris. We have no idea who this guy is or what he's actually intending. He could be working against us for all we know." Mars said to her, still not happy about being contradicted in front of a stranger.

Mars
Mars saw the frown on Kiris' face as he chided her and started to feel a little guilty. He realized that his friend's mistake was an innocent one, and he shouldn't have been so quick to judge. "It's okay Kiris, and I'm sorry if I snapped at you a bit. I know you were just trying your best." He told her, before seeing her expression suddenly change to a look of determination. The Hadrian girl then promised to get them out safely if things went wrong with a strength and confidence that Mars hadn't seen from her yet. "I believe you." Mars said simply, before the reached the clearing and were on a small cliff, outside the forest.

Red Arrow shushed them as they looked over the entrance to the factory, Black Mask's men had made a camp right out side the entrance, with about half a dozen armed men keeping guard outside.

"Damn, they increased the guard count outside. I need to a vantage point to take out the guards, but I need a distraction. Any ideas?" Mars thought for a second, they needed something that wouldn't alert the attention of the guards outside, he then thought maybe magic might be the best answer to this problem. "Ki- I mean Dragon Mage, do you think you might know a song that could put the guards to sleep or disorient them? I can get you a bit closer if you need to." Mars said, wondering if Kiris would have an idea to take out the guards.

Asgard
Meanwhile Darian and Serene looked at the woman next to them with confused expressions. She was speaking as if they were familiar with each other, but it was clear they had never even met before. "Uh ya, who are you exactly? And why is your hair changing color if you don't mind me asking." Darian said to the woman, still quite confused about what was going on.

Cora nodded to the woman who apparently knew the most about this threat, though they hadn't really been introduced yet. Cora followed Katie to go help defend the city, she was a little nervous for the battle, as from what she had heard their goes were quite strong, but she kept up brave face as they ran forward. She needed to be strong for Katie. They would fight together, and when they were together, nothing could stop them.

Asgard
Darian and Serene looked at the woman next to them strangely when she said she was the embodiment of color itself. How was that even possible? They were even more confused when she said that she had been watching them for a while. Darian raised an eyebrow and spoke up, "So you've just been watching us from the background, isn't that weird?" Darian asked, a little creep-ed out by the situation. Serene stiffened when the color woman said that they an angel and a demon. "So you know what we are? Don't tell anyone alright? A lot of people wouldn't be as okay with it as you are." She then offered her hand out in greeting, figuring that this woman didn't seem all that bad. "I'm Serene, and this is Darian. It's nice to meet you." She said with a smile before suddenly they were being called into battle against large slim monsters. "Come on, we should help!" Serene said, before transforming transforming into Lightbringer in a flash of light. Darian transformed into the Sword Demon as a dark aura surrounded him. With his large sword in hand he followed his sister toward the others as they all began to charge into battle.

Mars
Mars listened to Kiris give all of the options she had available and he was quite impressed with the knowledge and confidence she had about her powers. Red Arrow then spoke up, "Well, if you have a way to incapacitate them without drawing their attention, that'll work too. Once you've done that then I'll get into my sniper's nest and I'll able to cover you two when you charge through the main gate." Mars nodded, though clearly reluctant to agree. "He's right, that seems like the best strategy to me." Mars said in agreement with Red Arrow. "Whenever you're ready Dragon Mage."

Mars
Mars and Red Arrow stood by silently as Kiris began to sing her song and preform they task that they had put before her. Mars listened to Kiris sing, and he seemed to just realize how beautiful beautiful her voice was. He had heard her singing voice a number of times already over the last week, but he seemed to really be hearing it for the first time now. Her voice had a soothing effect on him, and was almost hypnotizing to him. However when the soldiers in front of them began to crystallize and soon they were completely encased in them and were unable to speak or move in any way. Mars was quite impressed, it was an elegant spell and proved quite effective. He was also glad to see that his amplifier seemed to be working quite well for her.

"Great job, it worked perfectly." Mars said softly but sincerely Kiris. "No time to talk, let's do this. Give me 2 minutes then charge in." Red Arrow said before jumping down from the small ledge and firing an arrow toward the factory. The arrow was attached to a rope that pulled the archer toward the building and into a small hole in the factory window before disappearing from their view.

Mars frowned at Red Arrow giving him orders, but set a sort of mental clock as he subconsciously kept track of when two minutes would be up. As he was doing this he stepped forward to Rocket and climbed inside of the large robot as the cockpit opened up and allowed for Mars' entry. Soon the time was up and Mars turned to Kiris, his voice slightly mechanical because of Rocket's processors. "Stay close Kiris, they'll have guns so be careful." He said, concern clearly in his voice. Despite his insistence a week ago that he didn't want to get attached to anyone, that had clearly happened with Kiris. "We'll be charging in, and Arrow will be covering us from above. You ready? Let's go." He said before he and Rocket began charging down toward the factory, ripping the large doors off and using them as shields, occasionally swiping at nearby enemies.

There was about three dozen of Black Mask's troops and most of them had automatic rifles and bullet proof vests, but some of them had weapons that looked like large grenade launchers that they began to fire at Rocket. Arrows began to fly from the air and small explosions or electrical charges indicated when they hit their mark. Rocket and Mars were doing well until suddenly the enemy produced a mounted machine gun that they had set up in a nest in one of the maintenance rooms of the factory. The high caliber rounds fired away at Rocket and Mars, who raised up their shields to block the attack but were clearly pinned down and unable to move. The nest was out of range from Red Arrow as well which meant that they wouldn't have support from above to solve this problem. "Dragon Mage! You need to sing something to stop that machine gunner! These doors won't hold for ever!" Mars called, distress clear in his voice as he struggled to keep his make shift shield together under the strain of the heavy fire.

Asgard
Cora was a little jealous at the idea of Katie fusing with some stranger. She had done it with Naja before, but other than that it had just been Cora. The android felt that it was a special connection that they shared, and it felt strange to have her go through that process with someone else. Still, Cora realized that this was needed to save the world and that was much more important than Cora's petty jealousy. "Alright, I'll protect you two when you're ready." Cora said confidently and then a voice heard from nearby, "We can help too." Serene said as she and Darian step toward the group. "I"m Lightbringer and this is Sword Demon, we can help keep the slime creatures at bay too." She said, holding her bow in her left hand.

Mars
Mars and Rocket continued to attempt to hold off against the high caliber rounds being fired at them when suddenly Kiris jumped in front of them. She realized an incredibly loud high pitch roar and and the nearby enemies dropped their weapons and fell to their knees from the harsh noise. Mars' himself couldn't help but wince as the noise exploded in his ears. Rocket was able to block out some of the noise, but some of his functions were being interfered with by the noise. Still that proved to not even be the most disruptive part. Suddenly large blasts of light struck the machine gun nest, sending debris and and wounded enemies everywhere. The machine gun stopped firing and a strange silence filled the air as Mars merely looked on at Kiris in awe, amazed at how powerful she really was. Red Arrow broke the silence however, jumping down from his vantage point and rubbing his head. "Damn Dragon Mage, you really put opera signers to shame. Should have warned me to put in ear buds though." He said to her with a smile.

"So that's where that screeching came from?" They heard from other side of the loading dock. Black Mask stepped forward into view, the black shine of the metallic material on his face glowing in the light. He had a large rocket launcher on his shoulder. "Well, time squash the little birdy, I've got bigger things to deal with." He said before firing the rocket and walking off toward the manufacturing site with the rest of his remaining troops. He was getting ready for his final confrontation with Bain and he didn't need anymore distractions. "I got this! Take cover!" Mars shouted from inside Rocket as he through what remained of his makeshift shift shield. the metal collided with the missile and created an explosion in the air, sending Rocket flying back a bit. Before the impact Red Arrow had grabbed Kiris by the waist, "Come on Dragon, we're getting to cover." He said before quickly firing an arrow and pulling them to a walk way above their heads just as the door made contain with the missile.

Roy smiled a bit at Hannah. She was really nice and he was glad that she still wanted to hang out with him. He didn't really ever have any friends his own age. His adopted father had told him that friends made you weak. He didn't care what he thought anymore though, so Roy was free to do what he wanted. He looked over the map when Hannah asked what ride could top that one. He saw one that seemed like she'd really enjoy. "Well, there's something called the tower of terror, do you want to try that?" He asked, just then a girl who looked a but like Hannah, but older came rushing over to them. "Hannah! I'm sorry I left you longer than I expected. I didn't mean to ditch you sis." The girl said with a apologetic tone. She then saw that Hannah was with Roy and then looked over him curiously which made Roy feel a little uncomfortable. The girl was quite beautiful, but was older and a but intimidating for Roy. She then turned back to Hannah, "Who's this Hannah?" She asked with what seemed like a curious tone.

Hanah raised an eyebrow. She was a little annoyed now. Partially because her sister ditched her, but her coming back was a problem for some reason, she was almost interupting something. She shook her head. "Where the heck were you? You were gone for ages!" She exclaimed. Then when she asked about Roy, she binked. "Um. This is Roy Sam." She then stepped to the side. "Sam, Roy, Roy, Sam." She explained/introduced. "Roy was on his own and I thought I'd keep him company. I mean no one should be in the magic kingdom on their own."

Sam was a little surprised by Hannah's exclamation, but she understood why she was upset. "I'm sorry sis, I had to take a phone call and then DeeDee decided to test my skills and I lost my hearing for a little while... it's a long story but it'd not important. It was wrong of me to run off like that, but I'm here for you the rest of the day if you want me Hannah." Sam said, having a feeling that she might be interrupting a bit of a moment for Hannah. She didn't usually get a lot of kids her age wanting to hang out with her, so Sam didn't want to ruin Hannah's moment.

She then heard Hannah introduce her to Roy and couldn't help but smile at her very simple introduction. Sam looked kindly at Roy and offered her hand to shake. "Hi Roy, it's nice to meet you. I'm Sam, Hannah's older sister." She said politely. Roy shook Sam's hand, looking a little less nervous but still a little tense. He wasn't used to meeting new people so he was still getting used to these interactions. "Uh hi, I'm Roy. It's nice to meet you." He said to her, trying to seem as confident as possible.

Sam realized she was clearly interrupting so she decided to get out of the way, and let Hannah spend some more time alone with her new friend. "Well, it seems like you two are having a good time, so why don't you go off on some more rides and we'll all meet up soon for dinner? I'm going to go find Sarah and John and see what they're up to." Sam said to Hannah, not being able to resist giving her a hug and ruffling her hair a bit before walking off, and calling Sarah on her cell phone to see where she was. Considering how things were going between her and John she usually wouldn't have bothered, but she knew they hadn't left the park yet, so hopefully it was safe to assume they weren't engaging in non-family friendly activities just yet.

Cora
Cora smiled when Katie kissed her and kissed her back, taking her girlfriend's hands in her own. "I know Katie, don't worry about it. Just stay safe okay? I'll be watching out for you." Cora said watching as Katie fused with Otis.

Darian and Serene heard the color girl's voice coming up behind, wanting to help as well. Serene couldn't help but smile a bit, she kind of liked this girl and her playful attitude. "Well, I'm glad you're willing to help. What's your name again? I don't think you ever told us." Serene said to the strange color girl.

Mars
Rocket slammed hard into a number of large storage containers, smashing a few of them into pieces. Mars then heard Kiris running over toward them with Red Arrow following slowly behind. "I'm... fine." Mars said, which probably wasn't totally true, his left leg had hit against Rocket's steel frame, but Mars wouldn't say anything about it though the pain could be heard slightly in his voice. Besides, he wouldn't need it as long as he stayed inside Rocket. The large robot struggled to its feet and finally got on steady ground. Rocket didn't seem too damaged, which was good, at least he was in better shape than the boy inside him. "Come on, we have to go stop Black Mask." Mars said, spurring Rocket forward toward the exit that the gangster had left through.

"Black Mask will be taking on Bain now, there's going to be a lot of fighting going on." Red Arrow said as they headed into a long corridor that lead to the production chamber of the factory. "Don't worry, I have a plan." Mars said confidently. Red Arrow raised an eyebrow when Mars didn't elaborate but didn't question it. "Alright kid, I'll follow your lead then." Arrow said and soon loud explosions and the sound of gunfire could be heard which told them that they were getting close. They soon came upon a large hole in the wall that revealed the production facility.

The place looked like a war zone. broken glass and wounded and dead soldiers littered the ground. Black Mask and his troops were pinned down behind large makeshift bunkers, and Bain could be seen, smashing enemies with his large fists with ease. "I will break you!" Bain shouted in his thick Spanish accent. Mars turned to Kiris as they looked through the large hole at the scene. "That big guy, that's Bain." He told her. Then he pointed at the large containers of venom in the back corner of the factory. "Do you think you could blow those containers up? Those are the drugs we're after. Red Arrow can get you into position, I'll deal with Bain." Mars said confidently, considering he was facing a massive warrior on steroids.

Cora
Cora saw the giant slim monster attempting to attack Otis and she flew up into the air and started blasting it with ki. She knew she wouldn't be able to do too much damage but she could distract the monster away from her girlfriend and Otis. Darian and Serene joined in. The Sword Demon's blade flashed with fire and as he swung at the giant monster and launched a large fire ball at the slime creature. Serene fired half a dozen arrows that blew up in large flashes of light as they made contact with the enemy.

Mars
Mars heard Kiris begin to protest his plan but then she suddenly stopped and got quite. Kiris looked as scared as Mars felt, he was glad his expression was hidden by Rocket otherwise she would have seen how scared he was. Still, he was determined to be strong for her, and not let her now how worried he was for having to fit a giant like Bane. He placed Rocket's hand on her shoulder when she asked him to be careful. "I will, I promise." He told her sincerely.

Red Arrow then spoke up, "I'll cover you from above. Just watch out, Bane won't be playing around." The archer said sincerely looking a bit worried himself. Mars nodded in thanks before Red Arrow flew off into the air with Kiris as they went to preform their tasks.

Mars took a deep breath as he contemplated his strategy. He had come up with adaptations for Rocket, for large foes like this, he just had to hope it would be enough.

Mars and Rocket moved cautiously toward Bane, still not having drawn his attention and wanting to keep it that way for at least a little while longer. Then suddenly Kiris unleashed her roar and the large containers of venom all exploded. Bane let out a loud curse in Spanish and Black Mask and his men began firing in Kiris' direction. That worried Mars a lot but he was relieved when he saw the bullets bouncing away from her harmlessly. Red Arrow was firing arrows at the enemy at rapid speed and Mars knew he had to use this opportunity to attack.

He charged that the distracted Bane at high speed, smashing his fist into the man's head, hoping to do some damage. However, Bane merely looked annoyed, as he pushed Mars aside and cracked his neck loudly as he stretched menicaningly. "So little robot wish to play eh? Bane crush you!" He said, slamming his fists down towards Mars who was just barely able to get away before they made a huge dent in the cement floor.

Mars got to his feet quickly and attempted a number of strikes against Bane, all of which were blocked with minimal effort. Then Bane reared his fist back and slammed it into Rocket hard, throwing him across the room. Rocket landed hard against the ground. His armor was seriously dented, but his systems were luckily still intact. "Alright, here goes nothing." Mars said quietly to himself, knowing he had to do something otherwise things would get ugly fast. He pressed a button on Rockets command board and the armor plates in Rocket's back shifted to reveal two move-able containers. Both suddenly sprung to life thanks to small rocket boosters at their ends and shot forward onto Rockets arms.

The machines began to unfold as even Bane's thugs were standing around wondering what the hell was going on. Soon the containers were completely unfolded reveal two large golden blades made titanium. Suddenly they started to spark as it became clear that they were charged with voltages of electricity. Esaily enough to kill a regular person, but for someone like Bane, it'd be enough to knock him unconcious.

With his long razor sharp blades that sparked with electricity Mars knew this was his best shot to beat Bane, if he had one at all. "Alright here goes nothing." He said as he charged Bane at full speed, while the Venom infused bruiser did the same.

Nicolás "Nico" Álvarez
Nico Álvarez was on his way back from school on a typical Thursday in Jump City. The weather was breezy and generally beautiful and the city was relatively quite. Nico said goodbye to his friends and headed back home on his skate board. He had a personal driver but he rarely used him. Nico didn't like acting like some rich kid who needed to be brought everywhere. He adjusted the wrist watch on his right arm out of habit. It wasn't a usual wrist watch, and if it somehow fell off... well let's just say Nico would probably make the 5 o'clock news.

You see Nico was a mutant, and he couldn't yet control his powers so that wrist watch was the only thing keep his atoms destabilizing into sand. That wasn't the only problem he had either. He had just discovered that his parents, billionaire business people who were the Pilar of the community, we're secretly the leaders of one of the most powerful drug cartel in the country.

The only one he felt comfortable telling this too was his sister Cat, however even she didn't believe him. They had been arguing a lot lately and they weren't on the best of terms at the moment. Cat was a mutant too, and she was struggling to adapt to her powers even more than Nico was. Still, Nico desperate to convince her that he was telling the truth, and he came up with a drastic dangerous way to do it. Unfortunately he had no idea how he'd get his sister to agree to it. He headed into the front door of their beuaitufl west coast mansion and headed up toward his sister's room to say hello, wondering the whole time about how to convince her to believe him.

Nico
Nico saw his sister's door open and saw her standing there in front of him. She looked quite tired and seemed to be in her own little world. He heard her refer to her room as her "domain" and she was wearing think gloves on her hands. That just furthered his suspicion about what she was hiding and why she was so secluded recently. "Hey sis, I just wanted to check on you. You skipped school again today, I just told the teachers you weren't feeling well." Nico said, sitting down on the side of Cat's bed. "I won't bother you about mom and dad right now sis, but is there something else bothering you? You've stayed in your room a lot recently and I barely see you anymore. If you want to talk about it, you know I'm here for you." Nico said to his sister sincerely, wanting to help her get through the difficult times she was having.

Mars
As they charged toward Bane, Rocket's sword came down hard on the titan's right shoulder sending electricity coursing through his body. This caught Bane off guard and he stumbled and lost his babalnce. He pushed himself to his feet, looking quite angry.

"You die now!" Bane shouldn't angrily, pressing a button on his gear, sending venom surging through his veins as his muscles expanded and his eyes narrowed.

Mars frowned a bit. Now Bane was going to be even stronger, how was he supposed to beat him now. Suddenly though, his ears were filled with a voice that he quickly recognized as Kiris'. It was the same song that she has sung the first time they had met. The song filled him with courage and determination to defeat Bane. If he didn't Bane would hurt Kiris.

Mars' fists curled up a bit as he charged toward the hulking giant he was fighting. He slashed away at Bane with a furious energy, and managed to cut through the tube that was coursing venom through his body. Shocks were being sent through Bane's body and shouted he shouted out in pain as he struggled to stay on his feet.

Bane reached up and grabbed Rocket, throwing him back in rage. Rocket managed to stay on his feet though and it was clear that Bane had been weakened by Mars' attacks.

Mars
Mars saw that he had Bane weakened, but the brutal titan was not giving up. He charged at Mars in a fit of rage and slammed him hard against the wall. However Mars was able to recover and continued to slash at Bane with his electrified blades. Kiris' song was still giving him the determination to continue fighting despite being exhausted and injured. Sparks flew as the electricity from Rockets blades continued to zap Bane's strength. The fight went on for several more intense minutes until it was clear that Bane was losing energy. Mars moved quickly to dodge his attacks, Bane then began to shout at him, "Fight me you coward!" Bane yelled, clearly frustrated with Mars' style.

He managed to grab Rocket by the throat and began to squeeze hard, nearly crushing Mars' throat. "Now you die puny machine!" Mars began to struggle, he just needed to reach one button, but he could barely breath. He just managed to hit it and soon Rockets armor itself began to spark with electricity, shocking Bane once more forcing him to drop Rocket who landed on his feet. Mars looked up at Bane with determination and got into a fighting stance. "His name is Rocket!" He shouted, as Rocket flipped in the air, his feet slamming into Bane's face.

Bane staggered and swayed and soon his massive body fell to the floor. Mars then ejected himself from Rocket, falling to his knees and panting as he tried to catch his breath. His left leg and his neck hurt like hell, but he was not seriously injured. Soon Red Arrow came back and saw Bane on the ground. "Nice job Mars, I managed to take out Black Mask, but some of his men have scattered outside. We should probably go after them." Mars nodded weakly, "Ya... just give me a minute." Mars replied, sounding tired and out of breath.

Nico
"Hey, I care about you sis. And I want you to feel better." He raised an eyebrow when she said she felt fine. He could tell she was lying, but didn't know why. "Sis, is something bothering you? You know you can tell me if there is right?" Nico said, reaching for his sister's glove hand in an attempt to hold it.

Mars
Mars' felt Kiris' claw pressing on his shoulder. His armor prevented her from hurting him with her claws. He couldn't help but blush a bit when Kiris complimented his success. He then noticed the lost of the presence of Kiris' song. That thought made him a bit sad, as he had become quite comfortable with the presence of her music in the air. He slowly brought himself to his feet, "Uh thanks, I'm just glad it worked. And thanks for your help with the song. I... well... I couldn't have done it without you." He said sincerely, forcing himself to overcome his dislike of relying on other people for help. He then shook his head softly when Kiris asked if he wanted to stay and rest. "No, its okay, I'm fine Kiris. I can rest on the ship. The sooner we get out of here the better." He said to her as he began to walk slowly and gingerly before it got a little easier and he was able to walk a bit more normally. The three of them headed out of the factory and back toward the forest, Red Arrow was keeping an eye out for stragglers when suddenly they came upon a large group of tied up Black Mask thugs. Red Arrow quickly drew his bow and Mars raised an eyebrow, "Who could have done this? It couldn't have been Bane's men, they would have killed them, not tied them up." Mars said as he looked around for the party responsible for the capture.

Cat looked panicked and then lightly slipped her hand from her brothers grasp. Perhaps with more speed and force than she intended. “Nothing is bothering me brother… I’m fine. I’m fine. I’m fine.” She repeated, then inhaled and exhaled. “I know you care, but I don’t need help. I just need to… need to be alone…”

Nico felt Cat pull away from him forcefully, as if she was scared of him for some reason. She looked very shaken up and just kept repeating "I'm fine" over and over even though that was clearly not the case. He was about to object but his sister looked very upset and asked to be left alone. Nico pulled away willingly, though he clearly had a hurt look on his face. "Alright, I'll leave you alone." He said softly, his hurt feelings seeping into his voice as well. "I'm sorry I bothered you." And with that he turned around and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. He took a deep sigh, now his sister was afraid of him even being near her. He felt even stronger about his suspicion now. As someone who knew what it was like to be a mutant and trying to hide it, he was seeing the signs very clearly, he just didn't know how to reach out to his sister about it.

Mars
Mars was startled when a voice suddenly filled his mind. It was crystal clear in his head, but there was no one around. Just when Mars thought he was hallucinating, a man in a wheelchair came into view with a group of young adults and teenagers in costumes behind him. When he heard the man speak, he realized that he was the one whose voice was in Mars' mind just a moment ago. Mars realized the man must be a telepath and was able to read his mind as well as communicate with him. He wasn't too shocked then when the man introduce himself as Charles Xavier, leader of the X-men. Mars had done a good amount of personal research about other super heroes in his free time, and between his follower's uniforms and the and Charles' unique characteristics, it wasn't too hard for him to identify them.

"I've heard about you. Thank you for your help here, I've heard that you've done a lot of good work for mutant kind. And you're right, I'm a member of the Young Bloods, my name Is Mars, its nice to meet you. This is Dragon Mage, she's part of our team too. So you want a favor from us? What could we possibly do for the X-men?" Mars asked, genuinely wondering what Professor X could want of them. Mars then noticed a girl standing behind the Professor's chair, almost as if she was trying to hide herself. She was looking over at the three of them nervously like she was afraid they would see her. Mars wondered who this girl was, and why she seemed to be so nervous.

Cora
Cora, Darian, and Serene had been fighting off one of the slime enemies off to the side. They were holding their own until the entire army of slime warriors began to retreat from Asgard. The three of them then returned toward the center where most others had gathered. Cora saw Katie and was relieved that she was okay. She flew down right next to Katie and gave her a hug. "Katie, I'm glad you're alright. What you and Otis did was really awesome, I saw it while I was fighting one of the other slime things. I'm fine too, don't worry. So, what are we going to do now?" Cora asked, having mostly missed the conversation that had just taken place.

Mars
Mars saw a girl around his and Kiris' age step out from behind Professor X. She looked very nervous and stammered quite a bit as she told them her name. She was wearing very thick headphones that made Mars wonder if she could hear them at all. "Hi, I'm Mars it's nice to meet you." He said, trying not to frighten her anymore than she already was. He understood what is like to suffer from shyness and being afraid to talk to people. He wasn't sure if she could actually hear him, but it was worth a shot.

He then listened to Professor X explain what had happened to Rin and Mars listened intently to her story. Then Professor X was in his mind again, telling him a secret that he was not to share with Rin. "So, she can't retain any long term memories?" Mars said in his mind to Professor X in shock, he had never heard of a mutation doing something like that. "So how are we supposed to help her? Do we have to keep reminding her who is?" Mars asked, curious as to how Professor X had been taking care of her. "We'll do our best to take care of her sir. We all live together in a tower, so we'll be there for her when she needs us." Mars continued with determination. Over the last week he had grown much closer to the Young Bloods, and had started to care a lot about the team, and he was willing to take in a new member who needed their help.

At the Wedding
Cora clapped and cheered as Naja and Alex kissed at the end of the ceremony, watching as Kylie light up the sky with fireworks. She was standing by the bride and groom with her teammates, who were serving as Naja's bridesmaids. Cora was very excited to be attending a wedding with her best friends. This was the first wedding she had ever attended, and she was enjoying it a lot. She stood next to Katie, holding her girlfriend's hand as the ceremony took place. She still couldn't believe how lucky she was to have a group of friends that she could fight crime with, and a girlfriend who cared about her as much as Katie did.

Roy's military training kicked in when the loud noises from the light based fireworks that Kylie set off behind the couple. His hand instinctively went to his staff, before he calmed down and realized there wasn't a problem. He was there to celebrate with his friends in the JQ, since they were basically his family now. He liked the Justice Queens a lot, and enjoyed staying at their tower. He watched as most of his friends stood up at the front of the ceremony, and Naja and Alex kissed as they were pronounced husband and wife. He clapped for them, in Roy's own calm way. He then realized he was hungry and before saying hello to his friends, he decided to get on line for the food, which looked quite good to him.

Nico
Nicole went to his room for a little while and finished up his homework. He then got a text from his father that said that he and Nico's mother would be late that night, and that Nico and Cat would have to get dinner on their own. Nico sighed, wondering what nefarious things his parents were up to. It was almost impossible for him to be comfortable around them, now that he knew the truth about who they actually were.

Nico stepped out of his room and headed back toward his sister's room where he had been a few hours ago. He had a feeling she wouldn't be too excited to hear from him. It was hard for Nico, he didn't understand why his sister wouldn't just talk to him about what was wrong.

Nico knocked on her door again and spoke to Cat through it, "Hey Cat, mom and dad aren't coming home for dinner. So we'll have to eat by ourselves. You want to got out somewhere? You can pick the restaurant you want." He said to her, hoping she'd agree to come out with him, but doubted she'd be too enthusiastic about it.

Disney World
Sam noticed that Sarah wasn't picking up her phone, so she decided to try to find her using the mental lino that they shared. She felt Sarah's presence and followed it towards the large train satin that Sarah and John had departed from. She saw the train was beginning to pull back into the station, so she waited for it to arrive, knowing that Sarah was on the train.

John was holding Sarah close as she slept peacefully. He watched the scenery outside with quite admiration as the train slowly pulled into the station. John was a little hesitant to wake Sarah, as she seemed so comfortable and peaceful, but he knew that he had to. He gently nudged Sarah to wake her, speaking softly. "Hey, the ride's over." He said to her softly, still holding her close as they sat together.

Meanwhile Roy was walking around the park with Hannah and having a good time. However while they were near one of the carnival like game stations. Roy saw a few strange looking guys in red hoodies standing around suspiciously. Roy had a weird feeling about it, and his military training told him that something was up. He took a step closer to Hannah and looked over his shoulder to her, "Hey, do you see those guys over there?" He whispered to her, "The guys in the red hoodies." He clarified, not taking the risk of gesturing toward them. "Something seems off about them."

At the Wedding
Cora turned when she heard Katie's voice, seeing the tears in her eyes. Cora had been concerned when she saw Katie crying before and had asked if she was okay, but Katie explained that they were tears of joy not sadness. Cora was still confused by that, she didn't understand crying when you're happy. Still, she didn't question it, and was just satisfied with the knowledge that Katie was not sad at the moment. "I know, I'm really happy for them." Cora said, gently wrapping an arm around her girlfriend and holding her close. "You know, I never knew that this was what a wedding was like. I've seen them on TV and stuff, but this is the first time of been to one." Cora said to Katie as they stood together.

Asgard
Cora listened to Katie as she asked to get a chance to lift Mjolnir. Cora was slightly away of the hammer's magical capabilites, but she didn't really understand it fully. However she could tell that Katie was determined in trying to do this and she wanted to support her. She took her girlfriend's hand as they sat next to each. "Lady Valka, I know Katie would never abuse her privileges with the hammer. I promise you she is sincere with her intentions." Cora said, trying to reassure the goddess that there wasn't a danger in letting Katie try to pick up the hammer.

Nico
Nico smiled in surprise when his sister said she'd come out with him and that she wanted Italian. "Sure sis, Italian sounds great." He said to her with a smile as they headed out of the house. The crisp west coast air felt nice, combined with the setting sun in the sky. They headed out into the streets of Jump City until they reached their family's favorite Italian restaurants, it was probably one of the best restaurants in the city. The air was filled with delicious smelling Italian food as they headed inside. "I'm starving." Nicole said with a smile, glad to be out on the town with his sister, hoping the fresh air might help her feel better.

Disney World
John grinned when Sarah kissed his cheek and spoke seductively, "Well, it wasn't too bad. You looked really cute resting on my shoulder like that, so that made it better." He said to her with a smile as they walked out together. As they left the train, John saw Sam waiting for them and followed behind as Sarah ran out and hugged her younger sister. Sam smiled when she saw Sarah running towards her and she wrapped her arms around her older sister in. Then Sarah stepped back and got serious look on her face before asking about Hannah. Sam's face couldn't help but break out into a grin.

"Hannah met a friend while I was away on a phone call. He was guy who looked her age named Roy. I felt like I was a third wheel so I left them alone. He was pretty cute for his age after all." Sam said, grinning like a hyena. Sam and Sarah had often tried to get Hannah to make friends with people her age, and Sam was quite pleased that it seemed like her younger sister might have finally found a friend that she likes and can spend time with.
