John Morgan and Samantha Grimm
John wasn't sure what to think about Hannah calling him Sarah's boyfriend. They had just met after all, and he wasn't sure what Sarah would think of that. Still, it was certainly a kind compliment. He smiled at her words. "Well Magic Kingdom it is then. There's a bus that'll take us there. It should only take a few minutes." He told then as he led the four of them towards the bus stop which would take them to the Magic Kingdom.

They arrived in about 10 minutes and stepped off the bus, heading towards the large gates of Magic Kingdom. There were a number of people dressed like Mickey and other characters walking around and taking pictures with people. The giant castle, the Mickey Hat, and the Tower of Terror could all be seen in the near distance. "So what ride do you want to go on first Hannah? Space Mountain is pretty cool, so is Spalsh Mountain if you want to go on one of those. We don't have to wait on lines either. I have one of those passes that let's you go right away." He told Sarah's younger sister as they walked through the entrance of the park.

Roy Damon
With the help of Valancy and the of the members of the JQ, Roy had managed to recover from his injuries after a few days. He decided that now that he wasn't on the run from his father anymore that he needed to take a few days to relax and figure things out. He decided rather impulsively that he wanted to go to Disney World. He had Heard about it, but had never been able to go there when he was yoynger. He never really had a childhood like most other kids, and he thought it might be good to experience that. Valancy agreed to pay for his airplane ticket and hotel room, which Roy was very grateful for. He had a feeling though that she might have thought he wouldn't really come back. However he did genuinely plan to come back, at least for a little while. Valancy and her friends had been very nice to him, and some stability would do him some good. Roy still hadn't figured his life at all, but now he was a little more hopeful and a little less discouraged.

After a bit a four hour flight and checking into his hotel room he finally arrived at the park himself. It was a very crowded and loud atmosphere with a lot of laughter and music. Roy wasn't used to this at all and felt a little uncomfortable. He made his way to the magic kingdom and was sort of people watching as he sat down on a bench. He wasn't really sure how to have fun, which is why he had come there in the first place.

The Giant Monkey Man
Ona random planet in a random galaxy, a giant hole was ripped through space as a large creature from another dimension, roaring as it looked for foes to fight. It was the giant monkey man, who's sole purpose was to travel across the dimensions and absorb all life sources that he could find. The large beast let out a challenging roar as he landed hard on the planet's surface. He looked around and did not see any life around him. Angry about this, he began to storm of wildly, shouting and braking rock formations as he looked for something to kill.

The Giant Monkey Man
The Giant Monkey Man paused from his violent outburst when he heard movement behind him. Some strange creature he did not recognize was standing behind him. It mattered not though, to him it was just more prey to fall before him. He roared violently and banged his chest assertively, charging towards his foe and smashing his fist forward and releasing a blast of kinetic energy toward his foe.

John Morgan and Samantha Grimm
John felt a little bad at Hannah's disappointed tone of voice, he realized that he was kind of taking her big sister away from her. Still, he knew that Sarah wouldn't be too interested in rides, so he figured it would be best for them to meet up later for dinner latter. "Well, that's very considerate of you Hannah. Don't worry, I'll keep your sister company, and we can meet for dinner. They have a restaurant where you get served by your favorite Disney characters, I'm sure you'll love it." He told her with a smile, before handing her his pass for the rides. He then went off with Sarah to find something fun to do. He was sure they could think of some ideas.

Samantha saw that Hannah was a little disappointed and wrapped an arm around her little sister. "Don't worry sis, We'll have a great time together. Come on, let's find Splash Mountain." She said with a smile before walking off with Hannah to find the ride. Soon they found it and they were about to enter it when Sam's phone rang. It was DeeDee, the girl who offered to teach Sam magic at the club. Sam immediately knew she should answer the phone, and she turned to Hannah, "I'll be right back sis, just have to take this call." Sam told her before walking off a it to speak to DeeDee.

Roy
Roy was walking around with a map looking very lost. He had no idea how to read the thing. It was like no map he had ever seen before. He was so consumed in the map that he had lost track of what was in front of him. After Sam had walked off he accidentally bumped into Hannah, walking right into her back, and dropping his map in the process. "Roy blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry, I should have been looking where I was going. I hope I didn't hurt you." He said sincerely as he leaned down to pick up his map that he had dropped in the collision.

John Morgan
John smiled when Sarah held on to his arm as they walked, having said goodbye to Sam and Hannah. She then began to speak about how she was more frail than most people, and that her supernatural powers were the cause of it. She seemed to be opening up more than she had before, which made John happy. She seemed to be getting more comfortable him. She then asked where he wanted to go, and he gave it a thought for a second. He personally thought it would be crude to suggest going to the hotel room right away, though it was certainly on his mind. He decided that that could wait, and it would probably make it even better.

"Well, there's this para-sailing thing you can do, it brings you all around Magic Kingdom. I haven't done it yet but I've heard it's fun. There's also this train that will bring you all around the park and show you the cool sights. We could get our own cabin, and we'd have some privacy too." He said to her, wondering what she'd think of his ideas.

Roy
Roy blushed a little at Hannah's words, but smiled in relief that she didn't seem mad. He couldn't help but notice when she turned around that she was quite pretty. Her ears were covered by some kind of fur, and while Roy had never seen that before he didn't react outwardly. He knew from experience what a terrible feeling it was to be judged by others for being different so he refused to do it himself. She then introduced herself as Hannah, and Roy nodded in reply. 'I'm Roy, it's nice to meet you. So are you by yourself?" He asked, seeing no one else around Hannah. He didn't know how common or uncommon it was for people to go to Disney World by themselves, though most people there seemed to be families or groups of freinds.

Monkey Man
The explosion that the collision of fists caused sent the Monkey Man flying back far, as extreme heat raged through the planet. It grunted loudly in pain when it was thrown into a nearby rock formation, collapsing it in on itself. He forced himself to his feet, bruised, and most likely with a few cracked ribs. The Monkey man didn't care however, as now rage was the only thing that filled his mind. He smashed the ground hard in rage, creating a small crater, before jumping up into the sky and landing near the ashbringer, bringing down enough force to put a dent in the surface of the dead planet. Rocks and dust flew everywhere as he landed violently. The Money Man then saw the Ashbringer and lifted a nearby rock formation off the ground, tossing the large mass of rock at his opponent, hoping to crush him with it.

Samantha
Sam blushed brightly when DeeDee called her "Shirtless". "Hi DeeDee, its nice to hear from you again." Sam said, trying to hide the nervousness in her voice. She then heard DeeDee continue to flirt with her, her voice was sweet and very seductive. Sam blushed even harder when DeeDee spoke of them having sex. Sam was attracted to DeeDee, but she definitely wasn't anywhere near that step yet. Despite her worries, Sam was a little memorized DeeDee's voice but then a sharp distorted buzzing noise began to fill her ears and pulled her from her thoughts. "DeeDee, what's going on?" Sam asked in an unsure tone but then the noise was suddenly gone, and so was DeeDee, so was all the sound around her. Sam began to panic, looking around in shock. Had she just lost her hearing, would this be permanent? She then realized this was one of DeeDee's test and she needed to calm down. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to calm her body down so that she could focus on solving the problem at hand.

John Morgan
John returned Sarah's smile when she said she wanted to go to the train. He noticed she wasn't using her charm nearly as much as before. He wasn't sure what that might mean, but he was glad that she seemed to be dropping her guard around him a bit. "Great, let's go then." He said, leading her toward the train station and soon a large decorative red train pulled up into the station. The crowd for the train was rather small which John was glad about. They got inside and John walked them toward one of the back cabin where they were completely alone. He sat by the window with Sarah, softly wrapping his arm around her as they sat down.

The Giant Monkey Man
the Monkey man watched as the rock he had thrown was cut to pieces before his eyes. He then watched as a huge wall of fire came hurling towards him. The monkey man roared in defiance and held up his hands, fire a huge blast go kinetic energy at the fire, the two forces collided and created another huge explosion sending the monkey man flying backwards once again. He staggered to his feet, his fur scorched and burned, but he was still in the fight. He charged again at high speed and jumped into the air, bringing both of his fists down upon the ashbringer at full force, hoping to crush the annoying creature once and for all.

Roy
Roy was a little surprised when Hannah asked him if he wanted to accompany her around the park. Kids his age almost always avoided him, but he remembered that she had yet to discover his secret. He had a feeling this was a bad idea, surely when she found out what he was she'd be freaked out. But Hannah seemed so nice and he couldn't help but laugh a bit at her last comment. "Well, alright that sounds okay. This is my first time at an amusement park, so having someone to help me not bump into strangers will be good." He said, trying to make a joke himself. "So, what do you want to do first?" He asked her, not really knowing how to have fun like a normal kid, he was hoping she had some ideas.

"So, what do you want to do first?" He asked her, not really knowing how to have fun like a normal kid, he was hoping she had some ideas.

Hannah paused, then smiled and simply shrugged. She didn't really mind, and assumed she would have fun either way. "I mean, you are the one with the map, perhaps you should choose what we go to, cause I don't really know the rides here that well to be honest." She remarked, then set off in a random direction anyway, hoping Roy would lead her on course. "So, what brings you to the happiest place on earth? Not many people our age go, at least not alone..." She remarked.

"Well... alright, I'll see if I can find something that looks interesting." Roy said, looking down at the map to try to figure out where they were and what was nearby. They were close to Splash Mountain which unknown to Roy was where Sam and Hannah were going in the first place. "Well, I guess we could go to this Splash Mountain thing..." He said before looking up and seeing that Hannah was already walking aimlessly. He ran to catch up with her and did so just in time to hear her question. "Well, a lots been going on with me lately and... I just needed to clear my head I guess. I heard that this place was really fun for kids, and I thought it'd be nice to experience that." He told her, not elaborating on his rather grim history. "As for why I'm alone, well... I just didn't have anyone else to come with." He said, clearly eager to stop talking about himself. "Well, what about you? Did you come here with your family or something?" He asked her, assuming she had the normal family that he had always heard about but never experienced.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha finally managed to calm herself down and a noise finally became clear in her mind. It was DeeDee saying the word "one" over and over again. It started off quite faint, but the more Samantha concentrated on it the clearer it became. Sam realized that her physical ability to hear hadn't been lost, which was a great relief to her. She thought about it and realized DeeDee had somehow frozen her hearing in time so that she only heard what DeeDee had been saying when the moment the spell had been cast. Now Sam knew what the problem was, now she just had to figure out how the hell she was supposed to fix it.

Darian and Serene Astarious
The North Pole sucked. That's what Darian thought about as he and his younger sister Serene trudged through a snow storm in the desolate northern territory. They were seeking temporary isolation and solace from society. Because of the cursed objects they had both touched last year, Serene now embodied ultimate good, while Darian embodied the ultimate evil. The Demon within him was constantly stirring, waiting for its opportunity to awake fully. To make matters worse, demons were constantly following them, trying to awake their dormant master. On Darian's back rested the Demon Sword, which was the source of his incredible power. With it, he was one of the most powerful swordsmen in the world. It was the only upside to what was otherwise a giant pain in the ass and he hoped he could at least do some good with it.

Darian marched through the snow storm, wearing a thick scarf around his face, covering his whole head except the top of his wavy brown hair. His sister stood next to him, her long blonde hair alps peaking out of her thick scarves. She wore the bow of light on her back as well, which was the weapon that embodied Angel, who often spoke to and guided Serene. Unlike Darian and the Demon the two of them had a positive relationship and were actually quite close.

Off in the near distance they saw some kind of large rock formation, with two women in armor standing around it. They were both curious as to who these people might be. "Let's check it out!" Darian shouted through the wind. Serene merely nodded and the two made their way toward the large rock as quietly as they could, just in case these two people turned out to be trouble.

Roy
Roy frowned a bit when Hannah said that her sisters had left her alone, and that she didn't get to spend time with them. He knew the feeling of what is was like to be alone, and longing for a family. "I'm sorry about that. I know what it's like to be alone, it sucks. I always wished for siblings, or anyone really, just someone to be there for me." Roy said frowning himself before he shook those those thoughts from his mind. "I'm sorry, I'm making things sad. This is supposed to be a fun trip." He said, before giving his best attempt at a charming smile. "Let's go see what Splash Mountain is like." He said before leading Hannah towards the large tower like ride that stood above them. There was a decently long line, and Roy was content to wait on it, since they didn't really have a choice. He wasn't aware of the VIP pass that John had given Hannah that would get them onto the rides immediately.

Roy was surprised when Hannah suddenly took his hand and pulled him along toward the VIP line. He smiled as he wondered how she had gotten those tickets. "You're just full of surprises huh?" He asked her with a bit of a playful smile.

They got into the car and Roy put his seat belt on like instructed. He had no idea what this would be like, but he was quite fascinated by the music and images around him. Roy knew a lot about the world, but mostly the political parts of it, and the parts that went "bang". He was quite unfamiliar with this playful and childish side of it.

Soon the ride began and the car moved slowly through the log flume, as a narrator's voice suddenly came to life. He began telling the story of Br'er Rabbit who was being chased by the evil Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear. Suddenly things went dark and they moved onto a roller coaster track in pitch black. Roy had no idea what was going on, but his training started to kick in and he got a little parinoid. Soon however the light returned and the story of Br'er Rabbit continued. They were then suddenly sent down a plummeting track as water splashed around them, even getting Roy wet a bit as the water splashed into their car. This was totally knew to Roy, and though it was quite exciting, he was a little overwhelmed. He found himself reaching for Hannah's hand for comfort without thinking about it.

The ride continued and three drops on the log flume later Br'er Rabbit had saved himself from his enemies and returned to his village and the ride had come to its conclusion. Roy pulled himself to his feet, looking around in awe. That was a lot of fun, and he had honestly never really experienced fun in his life, so it was totally new experience for him.

Samantha Grimm
Sam had spent the last 20 minutes or so trying to break this curse that DeeDee had placed on her. She had thought of every command regarding hearing that she could think of until she finally realized that her spell should involve time, that was what she needed to fix. She took a deep breath and thought hard on what to say. "Tempus Regelo" She said softly and suddenly time unfroze and the sounds around her finally returned. Relieved, Sam turned back to the phone "DeeDee? Can you hear me? What did you do? And how much time has passed?" Sam asked, a little disoriented and trying to figure out what exactly happened while her hearing was frozen in time.

Samantha Grimm
Sam noticed that DeeDee wasn't answering from the phone and suddenly she heard a voice behind her, telling her she thought too much. Suddenly she felt a flick against the back head and she turned around, and saw DeeDee standing behind her. She was shocked, but listened to what DeeDee was telling her. "You're right DeeDee, I'm thinking too much. I'm sorry, it's just hard for me to not try to plan things out before hand. That's always how I've gone about things. It's hard for me to just do things spontaneously." She admitted to her teacher. Then she suddenly realized that DeeDee said the test had lasted 20 minutes. "20 minutes? I have to go find my sister DeeDee. I totally ditched her." Sam said, running off to try to find Hannah hoping she wasn't too upset.

Roy
Roy nodded with a small smile to Hannah, she was clearly very enthusiastic about ride she seemed to like it a lot. "Ya, I liked it too. I'm glad you enjoyed it." Roy said as they got out of the car and headed out of the ride. "So, do you want to go on another one? I'm sure there are some other cool rides we could go on." He said to her, he hadn't really noticed her blushing when he took her hand. He was glad she hadn't said anything about because he would have been really embarrassed himself.

Roy
Roy smiled a bit at Hannah. She was really nice and he was glad that she still wanted to hang out with him. He didn't really ever have any friends his own age. His adopted father had told him that friends made you weak. He didn't care what he thought anymore though, so Roy was free to do what he wanted. He looked over the map when Hannah asked what ride could top that one. He saw one that seemed like she'd really enjoy. "Well, there's something called the tower of terror, do you want to try that?" He asked, just then a girl who looked a but like Hannah, but older came rushing over to them. "Hannah! I'm sorry I left you longer than I expected. I didn't mean to ditch you sis." The girl said with a apologetic tone. She then saw that Hannah was with Roy and then looked over him curiously which made Roy feel a little uncomfortable. The girl was quite beautiful, but was older and a but intimidating for Roy. She then turned back to Hannah, "Who's this Hannah?" She asked with what seemed like a curious tone.

Darian and Serene Astarious
Brother and Sister made their way toward the large meteor like rock when suddenly a large creature came out from the rock, sending ice particals everywhere as he stepped forward. He bellowed something about being the White King, and Darian and Serene were quite confused, what the hell was this thing and who were those two women that were by the meteor? Darian stepped forward and spoke. "I am Darian, and this is my sister Serene. What are you exactly? And where did you come from?" Darian asked, hoping that they could avoid a fight, but that seemed unlikely.

John Morgan
John noticed Sarah getting sleepy and couldn't help but smile softly when she fell asleep against him. He didn't mind, in fact he thought it was quite cute. He was really happy with how comfortable Sarah seemed around him, and he wondered if maybe there was something real between them. They lived in such different worlds, but maybe John could help her and her sisters,so they didn't have to roam around anymore and break the law. He decided to think about it later and just enjoy the moment that he was in. He wrapped his arms around Sarah gently and held her so she'd be comfortable as he looked out the window at the view the Magic Kingdom had to offer.

Mars
Sparks were flying softly in the large basement of the Young Blood's tower. Mars had claimed it as his workshop and it was working quite nicely. He had spent a lot of time there the past week, working on a number of upgrades for Rocket, as well as upgrades for his team members. Mars wouldn't admit it, but they were starting to grow on him.

Suddenly an alarm started blaring and the building's AI system began calling out about an incoming mission. Mars turned off his sodering iron and listened. If this was an actual mission, it would be their first one together since the Rantu attack. "Come on Rocket, let's get going." Mars said as the two of them took the elevator that took them to the main floor. Mars had given Rocket a paint job and the machine was now solid red with lightening strips across his arms and legs.

Mars got to the command center, basically what they were calling their living room and saw Kiris twirling around in the command chair, singing a pop song. He had to admit, she had a very beautiful voice. It was melodic and soothing. She was wearing a very strange outfit, and Mars was quite confused about it. He knew nothing about fashion, but he knew that wasn't normal. "Hi" He said to her, giving her a short wave before sitting down on the coach. Rocket stopped in front of her, "Hello Kiris, good afternoon." Rocket said to her in his typical robotic voice.

Mars
Mars watched as Kiris spun around, clearly wanting their opinion on her outfit. She did look pretty, in a strange sort of way. Even though her outfit wasn't normal it did seem to suit her. He didn't know or care much about fashion, but even Mars knew that she really wanted a compliment. He wasn't that much of a jerk to ignore her. "Well.. you look pretty Kiris." Mars said awkwardly but sincerely. Talking to girls was not at all his strong suit. He much preferred machines. Rocket looked over Kiris, "You look aesthetically pleasing by human standards." He told her mechanically. Mars shook his head, "That means he thinks you look nice." Mars said to her. As they waited for Xyri Rocket turned toward ADAM's monitor, "Hello friend ADAM." Rocket said in turn to his fellow AI.

Mars
Mars saw Kiris blushing at his compliment and raised his eyebrow a bit, confused by her reaction. He assumed he had said something lame or unappealing, but second guessed himself when he saw her smile. Before he could think about it further Xyri came into the room, wearing what seemed to be a new outfit as well. She then said she was having weird dreams, but before Mars could question that, he was interrupted again. This time by ADAM.

"THERE ARE TWO MISSIONS AT HAND." The AI told the team. "THE FIRST IS FOR MISS RANWYNN AND MISTER ASARIN. THERE ARE REPORTS OF A ROUGE CHEMICAL FACILITY ON SMALL SOUTH AMERICAN ISLAND. THE FACILITY IS NOTORIOUS FOR PRODUCING THE DANGEROUS CHEMICAL VENOM. TWO KNOWN GANG LEADERS ARE FIGHTING FOR THE FACILITY, ROMAN SIONIS AND THE CRIMINAL KNOWN AS BAIN." Mars pulled out a flash drive and downloaded the information onto the small computer device that he wore on his wrist, he also uploaded it onto Rocket's computer. "Well, let's get ready to Kiris. We'll have to take one of Elena's jets." He told her, not sue how working with another person on a mission, but it wasn't like he had a choice. ADAM then continued,

"FOR MISS XYRIA AND MISS MORROW, THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF A NUMBER OF ROBBERIES OF LOCAL SCIENCE LABS AND UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS. IT IS BELIEVED THAT GORILLA GRODD IS RESPONSIBLE, DUE TO THE DAMAGE TO THE WALLS AND THE GORILLA FUR DISCOVERED AT THE SCENE." ADAM continued briefing the group until all their questions had been answers and it was time for the group to begin their first missions as members of the Young Bloods.

Mars
Mars headed down to the aircraft hanger with Kiris and Rocket. As he walked he heard Kiris ask him questions about the mission, she was clearly nervous and unsure. 'Well I've heard about them, but they usually operate in Gotham so I haven't done a lot of research about them. This file should give us all we need though." He said, gesturing to the small computer on his wrist. He was silent for a little while as he was reading the document before finally speaking up. "Well, Roman Sionis is a Gotham crime lord who used to be one of the most powerful gang leaders in the city before he was overthrown and maimed by the joker. Now he's trying to get back on top it seems. It doesn't seem like there's much known about Bane. He was born in a South American prison, and there's not much records about his past, but he has a real hatred for Batman. This venom seems to be his creation, or at least he uses it a lot. It's a chemical that does a lot of damage to your body, but it gives you incredible temporary strength. That's why we're trying to keep it out of both of their hands."
By this time they had already made it to one of the ships, and Rocket had taken the front seat, as he was able to program the computer so that it flew on auto pilot. Mars realized that Kiris was clearly nervous and he figured he had to try to comfort her or something. He gave a small sigh and turned to her as he sat down on the plane. "Look, I know you probably dint understand most of what I said. Basically there's two bad guys who are fighting over a chemical, and we want to stop both of them." he slowly and a bit awkwardly put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, they'll be so preoccupied with each other, That we'll be able to take them out when they're not looking." He told Kiris, trying to comfort her as the airplane took off into the sky toward their destination in South America.

Mars and Rocket
Mars saw Kiris frown and scowl a bit and he worried that something might be wrong. He was relieved though when she smiled and thanked him. "Uh, you're welcome." Mars said, realizing his hand was still on her shoulder he felt awkward and moved it slowly. He realized they hadn't really talked about much more than superficial things over the past week. That was Mars' fault for the most part. He never liked deep personal talks, and he never liked sharing things about his past. Still, he and Kiris were about to put their lives in each other's hands. It only seemed right that he try to open up a little before that. "So.. What was your home planet like? Where did you live? I realized I never really asked you before."

Cora
Cora looked very content as she and Katie walked home together. She wrapped an arm around Katie when the smaller girl leaned against her, their hands intertwined as they walked down the street. Suddenly Cora felt Katie's hand tighten around hers, and she turned to see Katie frowning, looking intently at the nearby alleyway. Cora frowned herself, concerned about what was upsetting Katie. She turned forward to see a glowing magical light about a few yards ahead of them. It seemed like a magical light as it was just appearing out of nowhere, and Cora was starting to understand why Katie seemed so tense. Especially after what had happened with Eric, Katie had a troubled relationship with magic and she was quite uncomfortable around it. Cora was surprised when Katie said they go see what it was, but she nodded slowly. "Alright, let's go together though." Cora said, walking cautiously toward the light with Katie. She had removed her arm from around her girlfriend, just in case they needed to fight, but still held her hand as they walked toward the strange light together.

Cora
Cora saw the bright light suddenly moving toward them until they were immersed by the light and Cora couldn't see anything for the moment until they were suddenly in a strange, that was clearly not New York City. Cora saw that Katie looked just as confused as Cora felt, but then she said something that made Cora even more confused. "Kansas? Why would we be in Kansas?" Cora asked, genuinely befuddled and not understanding the reference. Then Katie said that they were in Asgard and Cora's eyes widened in shock. "You mean the realm of the Norse Gods? What are we doing here?" Cora asked in shock before a well armed woman and several others approached to apparently ask the same question. They confirmed that they were in Asgard, and the woman said that they were Valkyries whose job it was to protect Asgard. Cora wasn't happy about this woman pointing a sword at her girlfriend but she tried to stay as calm as possible. The last she wanted to do was start a fight in Asgard. "We didn't come here by our own will at all." Cora said to the female Valkyrie as calmly as she could. "We were in New York City and suddenly this bright light swallowed us up, and brought us here. We don't know who was behind it or why they did it." Cora said truthfully, putting her arm around Katie as if to try to keep her safe.

Mars
Mars listened to Kiris quietly and intently as she spoke about her home. He listened to her speak about Hadrimmelis and it was clear that she loved the planet itself, and he blushed a bit at the idea of visiting Kiris' home planet with her like she suggested. Then she began speaking about her people and her family. He could tell her tone was quite sad, and she clearly didn't have a good relationship with her family. He frowned when she talked about being ignored and seen as a failure. He understood the feeling, and how terrible it was.
Then she started talking about her life on Earth, and one thing she said felt like a punch in the gut to Mars, and he finally broke his silence. "I don't think you're dumb Kiris. I'm really sorry if I made it seem that way." Mars said sincerely, his usually cold facade clearly fading. "I know how you feel you know. I was always treated as a freak by the kids in school, and even the teachers. Everyone always thought I was a trouble making know it all that was wasting his potential. That's why... I don't really like opening up to people. Its never gone well before, so I just never bother. It's been really lonely since..." He paused, clearly hesitant to talk about his parents' deaths. "Well, I've felt alone for a very long time. "He said, before diverting his gaze and turning away a bit so Kiris couldn't see his distressed expression. He was still terrified of opening up to people and didn't want her to see him vulnerable like that.

Mars was sitting in silence when suddenly he felt Kiris' tail around his leg, patting it softly and gently. He looked over and Kiris smiling brightly. He noticed she smiled a lot, even when she was sad and things were tough. He wondered how she could manage to do that, and knew that most take its own kind of strength.

He was surprised when Kiris rested her head on his shoulder. He was blushing brightly. He had never been in a situation like this with a girl before, at least not when they were alone like they were now. However Kiris' words seemed to make Mars less worried about his embarrassment, and just fixated on what she said. The prise that he wouldn't have to be alone anymore, sounded almost too good to be tre. His insecurities and fears began to kick in at first, but then when he saw Kirisloing at him he knew she meant it sincerely. Mars felt like a tight knot was being untangled in his stomach. Someone finally said what he been desperate to hear for a very long time.

"Okay, I believe you." He said softly, gratitude and surprise were clear on his face. He slowly wrapped his arm around Kiris and again forgot about his embarrassment as he pulled her a bit closer to him. His awkwardness was being outweighed by a desire to be close to her. "I promise you won't be alone either, not while I'm around." Mars said sincerely, wanting Kiris to know that he had her back too.

Cora
Cora relaxed when Sif lowered her sword, but tensed a little when she said they couldn't leave. Sif said they weren't prisoners, but that sounded like being imprisoned to her. Still, Cora understood that they needed to protect their city. Besides Sif seemed nice, and Katie seemed quite interested in Asgard. Cora had to admit, the city was quite spectacular. She followed along with Katie and Sig as they spoke about Thor's hammer. She walked along silently, holding Katie's hand as she looked at at the city and the large dinning hall ahead of them. Cora couldn't help but still wonder who could have brought them there. The Asgardians clearly weren't expecting them, so who could it have been?

Mars
Mars' felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as Kiris' pink hair softly touched the tip of his spine. He was still clearly a bit flustered, having absolutely no experience with things like this. He saw Kiris smile though, and that couldn't help but relax him. He was glad she didn't seem upset by him putting his arm around her. On the contrary she seemed to enjoy it. He nodded when she said thank you, feeling like words would ruin the moment they were having. Instead he held his friend close, and couldn't help but close his eyes too as he felt quite comfortable and safe. He just sat there with Kiris, slowly drifting off as he thought about how nice being there with her felt.

Mars awoke as the Jet slowly thudded against the ground, clearly landing. "We have arrived at our destination." Rocket announced in his mechanical voice. Mars sat up and rubbed his eyes, nudging Kiris softly. "Kiris, we're here." He said to her, grabbing his equipment, armor and helmet. He then suddenly remembered something. "Hey, I have something for you." He said to Kiris, before going into his bag and pulling out what seemed like some kind of necklace. It has a thing leather chain, and the pendant was a decently sized silver coin like object with the letters, YB engraved on them. Mars handed it to Kiris and explained what it was. "It's for your voice, when you're in battle. It'll pick up the wave lengths your voice emits and will retransmit them. So it'll strengthen every spell you cast." Mars said, "I hope you like it." He added a little awkwardly, not sure how she would react to the gift.
