Jesus.
Adrian was great with kids.
His face went to a slight worry as he watched the girl struggle against him. Luckily though, he was still stronger than her in his form.
The blows she was flailing out on him did actually cause a slight amount of annoyance, but the fact it was a child prevented him from really lashing out in his state of permanent sub-rage. The fact it looked like she couldn't breath eventually came to him and his hands easily wrapped around the child, his shoulder ones, and he began thinking of what to do.
There was no way in hell a hospital would be un-destroyed in the immediate area...
He'd have to go find one.
He jumped up with Tomia in his arms, very high in the air, and began observing his surroundings. He could make it to a hospital in reasonable time, or atleast he thought so. The child could take city destroying blasts so they could probably last long enough for him to find a hospital.
With that in mind his body began rapidly accelerating with Tomia in his arms. Occasionally landing as he would kick off again.

"Something about Namekian architecture is just so peaceful... so wonderfully serene and at one with nature." Lord Frost commented, standing in front of his hover throne, surrounded by his soldiers. The group he addressed was a group of five Namekian elders, the lone survivors on the colony. Their lips were sealed shut, knowing that any Intel they give could be used against their fellow Namekians on New Namek, when he inevitable invasion occurred.

"So," Frost continued, "One of two things will occur. You can betray your species, and take up a place in my army, giving us intel and helping us grant me my wish when the Dragon Balls are collected. Or, there is option two, which is manual intelligence extraction through surgery on your cranium. The choice is your's."

One of the elders looked up and spoke, "And you think that the Namekian people will simply roll over and die? Do you recall what happened to your nephew, Frieza? He was killed at the hands of the Saiyan Prince and an Earthling."

Frost scoffed, "My nephew was weak. An unfit ruler who brought shame to his entire clan. Besides, there will be no heroes for your people this time. I know that this colony is out of your telepathic range from New Namek, so there won't be any warning when when we attack. By the time they send out a distress signal, I will already have achieved my omnipotence at the hands of the dragon."

"Don't be so sure..." the elder said, smiling.

"What did you say..." Frost said, in noticeably aggressive tone, leaning down and grabbing the Namekian by the throat, "Is there something I should know? Be short and concise, you don't have many words left." the Arcosian continued, his hand tightening its strangulation.

The Elder coughed and wheezed as Frost's grip tightened, "This... this planet's orbit draws closer to New Namek in summer... I've already informed the Grand Elder of your actions..."

Frost's eyes suddenly widened, "You what?!" Frost yelled, his tail slamming into the ground, opening up a massive fissure behind him which expanded for miles, "You insolent slug! I'm going to kill every last one of your people, annihilate them from existence! Fortunately for you though, you're not going to be around long enough to see them be exterminated!"

The Elder grabbed for Frost's hand, attempting to loosen it, "The Grand Elder has already sent out a telepathic distress call! It will reach Earth, and even further than that!"

With those words, Frost's grip tightened further, until a distinct crack was heard, and a popping sound. The Namekian's eyes went completely white, his life force extinguished. Frost dropped the corpse and entered his hover throne, "Bring the rest of these filthy creatures to the ship and extract what you can." he said, causing the soldiers to rush to the Namekian elders and begin beating them to unconsciousness, "We now make haste to New Namek."

Oragan

The three suns were still fixed above the horizon, moving only slightly to the side. I could hear frogs crowning and leaves being blown around. It's morning, I suppose, and as always, my morning routine begins with an intense period of meditation, focusing on my mind, clearing out my conscience. Which is what I have been doing, silently hovering above Grand Elder Moori's hut, eyes closed and legs folded.

Almost two years have passed since the last invasion of Namek, and it seems that things have finally calmed down. At last, we have reached the same level of technology as before the Great Drought, thanks to trade with nearby alien races, and thus managed to create backup colonies, in the case that we are attacked again. We have built up a new generation of proud and powerful warriors, Moori's children. The Namek's Guardians, fifteen of them in total, each one of them capable of besting the Ginyu Force in power.

But I can still sense that things are not going to go our way... The balance of power in the galaxy has been destabilizing. Even stronger and far more evil forces are entering the field, and the old evils are getting stronger-

"Oragan! Come down!" It's a voice, from the hut. Moori. Your wishes are orders for me. I unfolded my legs and touched down on the blue rocky surface of our village, then immediately entered the house through the open door. The Grand Elder was looking up, concerned, almost scared. This is not good.

"What is it, Grand Elder?" I kneeled down.

"I have just received a telepathic message. It's from one of our colonies, the one to the far east. They are in grave danger."

The far east? I focused my senses to that direction. Something is not good...

Oh no...

Oh no...

"Grand Elder, I can sense the enemies. Is it... Frieza?"

"No. Far, far worse. If it were Frieza, we would have been prepared - we have you to combat such threats. But this is a power never seen before."

"What is it, then? Is it a Frieza-seijin?"

"Correct. He calls himself Frost."

"Grand Elder, we need to prepare the spaceship! I will head there right now and stop this Frost person before he ends up slaughtering everyone like his predecessor!"

"Too late. Even with our best spaceships, it would take you weeks to reach Frost, and by then, he will already be here. Even then, you'd be like a mouse trying to fight an elephant... I have already sent a distress signal to Earth - we can only hope that they come soon enough."

This... this is no good. I trained as hard as my body would let me, I've become a Super Namekian, and yet I'm still too weak to save my people. We have to rely on foreigners, like last time. And back then, we lost both Nail and Guru to them.

"You are dismissed." Moori spoke. I stood back up and replied:

"As you wish."
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Lanvin - Chicago Suburbs

Lanvin had been following a particular individual on foot for the past few hours; the man in question had abilities - obviously - but his actions and movements thus far had not eluded to just what his abilities were, in fact Lanvin associated the man's movements with someone who had excessive paranoia.

Which was good. People like that were easy to unwind, they came apart like the wooden frames of a burning building.

The man stopped walking, prompting Lanvin to duck behind a car for cover as the man spun on the spot. There was nobody around, and there hadn't been for the past 20 minutes; yet this was the third time in five minutes that this man had abruptly stopped to look around.

Lanvin knew he had the man's psyche on the ropes; now it was time to finish it.

Holding out his hand around the far side of the car he was taking cover behind - safely outside of the man's field of view - Lanvin tightened his grip in the direction of a football on the lawn of a nearby house; the ball shook slightly as it hovered just above the ground before Lanvin made a tugging motion with his extended hand.

The ball flew across the street and hit the man in the back of his head; causing him to yelp in surprise before turning on the spot to look at the clearly empty lawn.

The man shouted in the direction of the house before turning and starting to run down the street; he was panicking now. Which was even better.

People make mistakes when they're panicked.

Lanvin pushed himself out from behind the cover of the car and started to follow the man along the pavement at a brisk walking speed; always keeping the man in view.

It was at this point that the man saw Lanvin following him in the middle of the road; partially illuminated by the dim orange streetlights and wearing a suit that was stained along the arms with dry blood.

He froze; even from where he was standing, Lanvin saw the involuntary twitch of fear in the man's eyes.

"H-hello?" the man stuttered as he looked over his shoulders.

Lanvin smiled as he took another step towards the man, his fingers tapping against his thigh in anticipation, he looked the man in the eyes, "You look distressed...Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah...I'm fine, you just spooked me a little," The man replied quickly, his voice hitching on the back of his throat.

Lanvin's forehead tingled as the man spoke; bringing a smirk to Lanvin's lips, "Liar."

The man stepped back, gulping loudly before he opened his mouth, "W-what did you?"

"I said," Lanvin outstretched his hand towards the man, pinning him to the spot, "Liar..."

The man opened his mouth to respond, but Lanvin tightened his grip on his throat; resulting in nothing more than a muffled scream emerging from the man's mouth as he desperatly clutched at his throat.

"So..." Lanvin continued as he stopped walking a couple of meters in front of the man, "I'll make this quick," he started to walk around the man; keeping his arm outstretched in his direction as he spoke, "You have something I want," Lanvin lifted the man slightly higher off the ground, "So I'm here to take it."

"I...Don't..." the man chocked out as he started to plead with Lanvin, "Have...Anything...You...Want..."

Lanvin chuckled as he leveled his finger at the man's forehead and tightly wrapped his hand around the man's throat in a stranglehold as he telekinetically kept the man's limbs pinned against his sides, "Now I don't even need abilities to know that is a lie..."

Lanvin started to telekinetically cut into the man's head, using his telekinetic abilities like a buzzsaw as he started to cut clean through the man's scalp and his upper skull; the man screamed in response before muttering what sounded like a plea under his breath as he slipped into shock.

Lanvin's breath was knocked out of him as everything around him dissolved into a swirling blackness before he was violently thrown across a room and into a window. Blinked his eyes a few times, Lanvin almost threw up from the disorientation as his hands slid down the now-cracked window as he looked out onto the view below with his heavily blurring vision; he was now in a skyscraper - at least fifty three floors up - which was almost directly across from the Cryotech headquarters.

An alarm somewhere tripped and a barrage of high pitched whines assaulted his ears. Lanvin screamed in a brief fit of rage as he threw his arms around in a frenzy, forcibly removing almost all of the electric circuitry from the walls in a shower of sparks before throwing the mountain of wire at his now-recovered foe; whose face was entirely covered in the blood which was coming from the heavily bleeding cut on his forehead.

As the man took the hit from the wires and was sent flying across the room in a pile of smoke, Lanvin cracked his neck and offered a loud, almost cruel laugh in response, "Teleporation!?" the man forced himself back to his feet; visibly shaking from shock as he tried to run to the nearest stairwell, only to be telekinetically pulled off his feet by Lanvin and thrown back into the smoking pile of wires.

When the man looked up again, Lanvin was standing directly over him; a wide grin on his face - almost in giddy anticipation as he leveled his finger at the shock-filled man again, "I can't wait to try that out..."

Nakasan, Gravity Chamber

''My power has already increased several times, but I barely feel like I'm getting stronger. Is this my true limit? Is Super Saiyan Grade 6 the highest I can reach? This can't be it! I am the strongest in my-'' ''Nakasan, can you hear me?'' North Kaio shouted. ''North Kaio, from my universe? Do you know how I can get out of this place?'' Nakasan asked, hopefully. ''Well, no, but something is wrong with the New Namek in your universe! It seems they are being attacked by Frost!'' ''Let me guess, Frieza's brother? Seriously, that dumb as shit naming pun. King Cold. Frieza. Cooler. Ice. Arctic. And now Frost? Whats next, Lack of Heat?'' ''Well.. uh...'' North Kaio muttered. ''There is seriously a Ice-jin in my universe called 'lack of heat' '' ''Yes but Aesdeew managed to defeat him without even turning Super Saiyan.'' ''Thats my bro!'' Nakasan shouted, fist pumping the air. ''This is no time for jokes! New Namek might be destroyed! And Frost is his uncle, idiot.'' North Kaio sighed. Nakasan was the strongest in his universe, but sometimes he was a little bit too excited. Grabbing his pocket, Nakasan pulled out a capsule, this one contained his old Attack Pod. Putting the Gravity Chamber in the capsule, he got into the pod. ''New Namek.'' he shouted, and it quickly set off.

Summary before the events of Infinite Justice
Nakasan, after defeating Majin Buu in his universe, was classified as the strongest alive. He agreed to let the Kais be over him in name, and he travelled the galaxy, settling disputes and making sure all was alright. He wielded the legendary Z-Sword, well he used to, anyway.
How did he defeat Buu, but only be a planet buster, you may ask?
Well, Nakasan was defeated by Buu once, until he travelled to the Planet of the Kais. Pulling out the Z-Sword, he battled Buu again. Using the Z-Sword's magical propeties, it cut Buu in half again and again- negating his healing factors. After that, Nakasan fired a Omega Flasher, ending the threat to his universe, once and for all.

Construction Site, Downtown Chicago

["Teleportation?!, I can't wait to try that out"],

The devious and Diabolical voice Lanvin said those words from sounded through The Knight's commlink, he watched overhead, he'd been chasing Lanvin but was unable to stop him from killing the meta. The KNight stood up, ["Sanza is everything in place?"], [Yes sir, the Mutagen is prepped and ready, vehicular support is on the way aswell as your reinforcements]. The Knight took his hand off the commlink, "then this should go smoothly", [Sir, do you think Facing Lanvin one on one, especially now that he has teleportation, is a wise action?], "Alone, it would be near impossible, but that's why I'm matching his trump card, with a bigger one". The Knight stepped off of the floor he was on, dropping down he opened up his cape, dropping down onto his knee , the metal mouth piece sliding into place.

The Knight stood up, staring Lanvin down,
"Lanvin, still cutting humans open like an Animal I see" The Knight said getting Lanvin's attention.

Craig Thomsen
A Good Man Goes to War -- Civil War

Rage, a simmering, glowing pile of embers, rose up in his heart when anyone spoke of support for this Registration Act. He had spent a year, one long arduous year in his own personal hell. That was Registration meant to him, a scourge braided with metal bits, lacerating and laying open his back, leaving scars that would last for the rest of his life. Leaving scars, and only pain. It meant touches of pain that paralyzed him in particular limbs, making him feel as if that limb had been cut off. And it meant having his escape attempts thwarted again and again, it meant having his mind ripped open, all save for his greatest, and darkest secrets.

When someone endorsed the SRA, they endorsed, they tolerated, his torture. A year of his life had been taken from him, in support of it, and now they wanted him to submit, to lie down like a dog. They had wanted him to build weapons, death-machines that would kill a community he called family. And as he had refused to do so, now, they had gotten some other fool to do it.

Remembering that Etla had said she would make a bubble bath for him---bubble baths being her favorite way to bathe---claiming that he had been far too tense of late, he began to walk to the bathroom. After his torture, he had attempted to hide the extent of his scars, and it had hurt his relationship with Etla. But she didn't fall for it. His flinches at her touch and his no-longer bright eyes that now brewed with pain. She had put him back together, slowly, but surely, like a shattered glass case.

Standing now in their bathroom, he drew back the shower curtain, to see water still pooling in the bathtub. Evidently, Etla had either forgotten, or had not been able to create the bubble bath before she had gone off for her latest adventure. Craig didn't mind, for he had other problems. Upon seeing the basin of clear water, his heart skipped a beat, the Rainborn core in his chest beginning to beep alarmingly as his heart beat faster and faster. Craig, gripping the edge of the sink, attempted to slow his breath, but his mind's eye and concentration was already far away, recalling his experiences in an underground A.R.G.U.S. base near Henderson, Nevada....

--
"So, Craigy, good morning!" Said Vicky cheerfully as she strolled into the torture chamber, chewing voraciously some bubble gum. Craig, hanging taut on the two chains bolted to the ceiling, barely lifted his head, his hair clotted with blood, bruises and cuts all over his face.

"Well, that was rude. What do you think we should do to him?" continued Vicky, turning to Leonard, her partner-in-torture, who simply grunted. Leonard could see 5 seconds into the future, an ability that had already proved fatal to 10 previously attempted escapes.

Maya, the third torturer in the company, strolled in quietly, as she usually did, making her presence known to Craig with her usual probe towards his mind. To her surprise, she found an opening, and followed through it, only to reach the pain receptors and centers of Craig's brain, Craig flooding in all of his pain over the past 50 days, and shutting the door, Maya gripping the table browned by Craig's blood. Breathing through her teeth, she eventually managed to extricate herself from Craig's brain, striding forward and giving him a backhand slap. Craig managed a small, smirk, his voice hoarse now with screaming. He had taunted them in the beginning, his voice slick and insulting, but soon, they had solved that, and he could not remember the last time he had spoken a word.
Maya berated herself as a headache began to throb in her frontal lobe. Craig's brain, despite occupying little physical space, was vast on the psionic dimension, a vastness that she had never before encountered. There hidden realms within the man's brain, and ideas too, and the ideas was what they sought for Waller. And though the inventor had not developed mental abilities such as telepathy and telekinesis, his brain was completely under his control, and he knew how to defend it.

"Have you been hurting Maya now, Craig? There will be punishment for that," stated Vicky with a sickly sweet grin, grabbing Craig's neck, the inventor still bound by the chains. And he would have screamed, if he could, screamed at 10,000 times a man's pain threshold assaulting his throat. But his vocal cords had also been attacked, and he began to gasp for air, Vicky eventually letting him go, Leonard going to the door for the day's torture materials.
Today, unfortunately for Craig, Leonard received a large bucket of water. Carrying it with out a sound, the giant poured the water into the bath-tub, Craig mentally groaning. Next, as Vicky kept his hands on him, and Maya assaulted his brain, Leonard carefully unchained Craig, and dragged before the tub. In previous days, he would've fought, but there was little strength in him, and everything hurt and ached and stung. An escape attempt right now was futile, as he had learned in his first attempt on the first day of his capture.

And without ado, Leonard seized his head and dunked it into the frigid water, Craig being able to catch only a small breath. And there, he was kept, Vicky giggling in delight, while Maya watched with a smirk, Craig desperately trying to keep his air. But he could only hold his breath for so long, and so, he fell unconscious. But Vicky would not allow that, and with a touch of her hands, he was instantly awoken, his mouth opening to scream, his brain realizing too quickly that he had fallen for the trick. But as water flooded into his throat, he discovered the true malice of his waterboarding...it was saltwater. He sputtered on it, trying to bring his head back up, shaking his body in a desperate attempt to shake his torturer off. But Leonard was too strong, and he was too weak, and eventually, when he had consumed a 1/4th of the water, he was dragged out. And as he laid shivering on the cold, concrete floor, coughing out saltwater, Vicky beginning to select a whip from the rack, his only thought was that at least it hadn't been boiled saltwater...

--

Wrenching his brain from those beyond painful memories, Craig lay convulsing on the floor, his heartbeat growing more and more erratically, until his Craigbot came in, applying the steps needed to get the core working again. As his heart subsided back to its normal rate, he arose.

Craig and Etla, the latter using her technopathic core, had adapted a medical Craigbot to his needs, being able to locate him anyway and administer medical aid. This was the first time it had quite possibly saved his life now, and now, Craig, saying, "Lean mode," was able to lean on the Craigbot until he recovered his strength, walking to his lab, his sanctuary, the Imaginarium. Entering in after passing all of the security he had installed, he walked over to his computer, and opened a new program which he had titled, simply, "Geronimo." It was, more accurately, a simulation from the Cyberspace which he had recreated in the Imaginarium. And there, he began to look at simulations, based on formulas and previous stances, whom would join his side. In the air, the Orb of Cognition began to project a chess board, in which he carefully added the figures of Pro-Reggers and Anti-Reggers. Among his targeted list of allies were Luke Cage, Captain America, Black Panther, Batman, the Fantastic Four(or rather, three now, as Trophy had been captured), Green Arrow, Manifest and Max, among others.

On the other side of the chessboard were the figures of those for registration, and they possessed quite a few more heavy hitters, such as Wonder Woman, the Flash, Superman, Xander, along with others.

The key to any victory here would be to avoid all-out brawls. If this evolved in to fighting, they had to hit the Pro-Registration forces fast and then out of there. Their best hope of victory laid in the public. They had to make Registration seem injustifiable, to make it not worth the pain. And finally, to that holographic chessboard, he added himself. It was high time that he made his voice known.

It would take Manifest less effort than the wave of a hand to repair the damage that Otis had done to the Universal Fortress. Instead, he simply floated in place where the inhuman had left him. He stared after the wielder of the omega sanction, unmoving. Eventually, he sighed, returning to the coffin. He stared at it for a moment, and closed his eyes. "I'm sorry, Julie. I was wrong. I was so, incredibly wrong. If it hadn't been for you, I don't think I would've lasted as long as I have. But... How do I fix this?"

A few crimson tears fell onto the ground beneath him as he gritted his teeth. "You can't answer, and that's my fault. By God, it's my fault." Throughout the Universal Fortress, silence reigned as his Fragments fell, lifeless, to the ground far beneath them.

After a while of being within the JQ, Marybeth was becoming quite accustomed to life here. Having only taken on a few gigs, she wasn't really known besides being a member of the JQ, which suited her just fine for now. As long as no one finds out about the past ten years, of course. She sat in her room, music blaring quite loudly, destressing. I wonder what everyone else has been up to recently. Having seen much of them, perhaps hermit life isn't for me. Yawning, she turned off the music and went upstairs. She paused by a room, just outside of it, she wasn't sure which, and heard two voices. Cora and Jamie. Extending the sounds within her area, she listened. Something about Cora, and helping. Sweet, something to do. Peeking in, she called out. "Hey, anything I can help with?" They don't need to know I was eavesdropping.

Black Hand - Anarcho - Sony

Outskirts of Los Angeles, Old Railroad yard

Black Hand, Sony, and Anarcho walked down the concrete path, the sun was long gone and the moon had risen, coloring the entire area blue. Los Angeles was in the distance, the golden lights of the downtown were a stark contrast to the dark ghettos and suburbs. Black Hand, Sony, and Anarcho walked to a moderately sized doorway building, no structure behind it though it seemingly left enough space for a staircase. Anarcho burped into the back of his hand, carrying 2 bags full of burger king, "is this it Blacky?", Black Hand sighed as he took out a key, "I told you how wrong that name sounds". Black Hand unlocked the door and opened it, revealing a large staircase leading down into a bigger structure. As Black Hand and Anarcho entered, Sony struggled to get through the small doorframe, partly expanding the frame as he squeezed in, but ultimately got in and carefully closed the door behind him. Black Hand, Anarcho, and Sony reached the bottom of the staircase, once getting down Black hand flipped a lightswitch, revealing a crude, but large underground bunker.

Anarcho looked left, then right, "Holy sh*t this place is huge" he said, placing the 2 bags of Burger king on the table. Black Hand walked over to the table, looking down it showed an entire map of Los Angeles, Iron Mountain's Security firms, drug trade routes, installations, and other assets, including their Skyscraper headquarters right in the middle of downtown. Anarcho looked down at the map, the stared at Black hand, "You have ALOT of freetime, don't you?", Black Hand stared up at Anarcho, "Some of us have other priorities than crashing trucks through roofs". Sony sat down on the couch nearby, causing the middle to wbe weight down severely and causing it to creak slightly. Anarcho folded his arms, "So what's the plan?", "If we want an opening to be able to take a shot off at Brandon Titan in his Skyscraper Fortress, we're gonna need to carve our way through to him", "how we do that?" Sony asked from behind them.

Black Hand pointed to the red lines marked in several places of the city, "We start by cutting his Drug trafficking lines, his main source of income. We also should attack his shipping convoys, aswell as take down his personal private security army camped throughout the city". Anarcho nodded, "His army's got to have a general", Black hand took a file from a drawer on the table, tossing it infront of Anarcho who opened it, "His name's tyrannt". "This is the guy who got us both locked up", "He's an incredibly skilled, and highly equipped foe, he leads Brandon's Army as his legate, the gangs don't dare tussle with him", "Why not?". Black Hand pointed to a southeastern ghetto of Los Angeles, "right here was the head of Los Angele's most fearsome gang, 'Hells Warriors', They grew so powerful, with both money and manpower, they took a swing at Brandon Titan and attempted an attack on their Skyscraper". Anarcho looked up, "And? What the hell happened?", Black Hand shook his head slowly, "It wasn't even a week before Tyrannt cut through their entire gang empire, and ended up dragging the corpses of their gang's leaders through the streets of the ghetto".

Anarcho cracked his knuckles, "So, let's show this mothaf*cka he's not tough sh*t", Black Hand pointed to a Plaza, near the outer part of the downtown, "One of their largest drug drop of points, and the midway point of their Largest Drug route is here. We'll set up an ambush for their convoy, and take it down once it arrives". Anarcho hopped up once, before pulling a Victoria Secret shopping bag from behind his bag, "Does that mean I get to go Shopping! They have a Cutlery shop that sells custom knives!". Black Hand paused for a second, "...Where did you ge- you know what, if we're all in agreement, we'll head there in the morning and Set up our Ambush". Black hand looked around as Anarcho and Sony both nodded in agreement.

"Good, then let's get started".

Los Angeles Plaza, Outer downtown
10:57am

Black Hand, Sony, and Anarcho (who was carrying a very large dufflebag on his back), all walked into the open and sunny plaza in the morning. Looking around, Black hand looked down on his watch, then over to the road, "Alright, we don't have much time so get to your positions. Sony, go to the park across the street and take cover, Anarcho, take position behind that corner, I'll get to a roof and take point". Anarcho and Sony nodded, Sony (carefully) crossed the street and hid behind a large tree in some bushes, catching the attention of some, but they quickly went back to their buisness. Anarcho quickly raced to the building corner, across from Sony, and behind 2 dumpsters. Placing the duffelbag on the ground he set up a small harpoon turret aiming across the street. Anarcho also readied his Axes and Katana, aswell as his SMGs and other firearms as he took point behind the Corner. Black Hand hurried into the middle of the plaza, while he was running down the small side alleyway he quickly stopped and climbed the ladder, not noticing a short woman who'd been following him.

Black Hand quickly dived into cover of the small little edge of the building, quickly setting up his crossbow he quickly placed some Explosive darts in it, he also readied his pistol, aswell as his other gadgets in case he needed them. The short woman quietly climbed the ladder, thinking she was unseen by Black Hand she reached the top of the roof, once climbing and standing she looked around, not seeing then masked man. "Where the he-" she quietly gasped as she felt the barrel of a gun against the back of her head, "You have 30 seconds to tell me who you are and why you're following me". The woman put her hands up slightly, "I'm Alice Kosa, just a person who's suspicious when 3 abnormal guys come moseying around. "Snooping can get a girl into alot of trouble", Black Hand said, taking the barrel of the gun off her head, allowing her to turn around, "I'm not a girl", Black Hand raised an eyebrow under his mask, "you sure?". Alice looked mad, then seemingly grasping air and forcing it at Black hand, she pushed him back revealing he had telekinetic powers, "A Meta, I guess that's why you had the courage to snoop". Black Hand then noticed an Iron Mountain truck convoy coming down the street, "SH*T" he yelled, pushing past Alice and diving for his crossbow.

Black hand quickly used his earpiece to reach Anarcho and Sony, "Guys, the convoy is here, get ready and isolate the drug truck", Black hand yelled into his earpiece, before firing an explosive bolt, blowing up the Humvee infront of the truck.

In the skies of New Namek, a familiar sight loomed overhead. A massive PTO spaceship, making its way to the ground, landing in a small valley. However, Frost was not inside this space ship, nor was he in the hundreds of others that began to make their way to the planet's surface, pouring out troops which scattered in all directions. And, out of the hundreds of massive PTO cruisers above the planet, he still occupied none.

However, at the Grand Elder's village, something horrible had arrived, as if it teleported. "Hello." a deep sinister voice addressed the terrified Namekians in the village, "My name is Lord Frost. I regret to inform you all that I am not here on good terms, but instead, as a conqueror. As I speak my soldiers are spreading across the planet and beginning the process of conquering it. However, there is one here who is abnormally powerful."

Suddenly, the Arcosian cracked his neck and fists, "He stands in the way of I and the Dragon Balls. Therefore, he stand in the way of the omnipotence I seek. On that note..." Frost continued, looking around, "I know there is one here, and I would like it to be in my possession within the next ten minutes. While I can't speak for my men, I promise not to personally harm any who follow my orders. So... What will it be?"

Oragan

The Super Namek

Our planet is under siege. I can feel it, I can sense it... Millions of enemy soldiers are descending on our new homeland's surface, definitely with not good intent. I was still meditating, but this time inside Moori's hut. Focus, focus... !!!

That power level! It appeared out of nowhere, and it's here, in our village, as I speak! It's Frost, that's definite. If I compared this power to Frieza... it wouldn't even make sense anymore. The jump of power is one we were almost certainly unprepared for. And the Earthlings will still take time to arrive.

Frost is talking about me. He's demanding the Dragon Ball. That is it. I unfolded my legs and slowly walked out of the hut, with a menacing look, only to see an opponent that is far more threatening than I expected. Spikes, red eyes, massive height. But at least he was alone. Immediately as I walked out of the house, I sent a telepathic message to the Namekians around me - the children, the Grand Elder and the others - to get out of here as fast as possible. They listened to my plead, and started backing out, while I stared into the galactic emperor's eyes.

"The Dragon Balls were made for people that are pure of heart. Your wish would be a misuse, and we will not allow such events to happen."

I am not going to win. I am like a grain of sand compared to the Frieza-seijin's massive mountain - and even that is only a fraction of what he's capable of. But I can at least buy time.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Xander was busy monitoring things on Earth. for once, things seemed to be going rather well. The relief effort in North Korea was going along even better than he had planned. It was still going to be a few months before the country would start to get back on it's feet for real. However, just when he thought he had a day off he was hit with a telepathic message. A request for aid against... It couldn't be. Julie tore the bastard in half right after he lobotomized him. And Frost was alive and kicking? Not for long. Xander was quick to write a note to Naja saying that he was going to be away for a bit and shot off towards the source of the distress call.

The last time he and Frost fought was well over a year ago. He power was pretty much the equivalent to a Kryptonian. Since then, his power had grown exponentially, and he had learned so much about himself. But despite his urge to want to murder Frost, he was looking forward to the fight. Frost was one of the few people who was capable of withstanding his full strength. So that was something that he had to look forward to as well.

Otis

"Oh, right. My name is Otis, or Bolt if you prefer. Why send an army when you can send one dude worth like... All of the armies." He asked and shrugged. "As for how I'm this strong, It comes from the power of the Omega Effect. From my understanding, it's basically the Wrath of God. Or something like that. I didn't ask for it and it didn't come with an instruction manual, but I've been figuring it out more or less." Which was slightly true. He figured it was time that he accepted his new position and did something with it. "It's relatively new. I've only had the power for a few months. I never really didn't do anything with it because I was scared of becoming like the last guy who had it. Then I realized that the power isn't evil. It's the person behind it."

"Anyways. You're looking for your kid? Can't say that I've seen him. I mean, he can't be that hard to find, no offense intended, just look at me. But if he's anything like you, actual white skin, a tail, pointy head... He should be sticking out like a sore thumb. Though I know a few places you might want to start looking. Praetoria and Madworld. They got the most funky looking citizens. Alright. Since you seem like a cool guy, I'm gonna go. I got the craving for a slurpee. If you need help with something, just look me up. Hey! Maybe when you find him, I can go get a friend and we can all be TAIL BUDDIES!" He suggested in the most innocent way possible.

In the blink of an eye, what was supposed to be a fairly prestigious but otherwise completely mundane videogame tournament closing ceremony instead turned into the battlefield for a vicious fight between some sort of hostile alien creature and none other than her fellow finalist in the tournament, Luna. Everything happened so quickly that Jamie did not react until she had been pushed out of the way of the falling ceiling, though in her defence, she was quite distracted and unprepared to run into trouble in a place like that. Falling on her butt after being pushed away by Luna, the black-haired girl quickly stood back up and dusted herself off, looking at the battle currently going on between the strange woman and the Gentarian creature. For a moment, she frowned. She was supposed to be a superheroine, part of the Justice Queens, and there she was, watching someone else take the fight to the bad guys. Now, it wasn't that she was particularly attached to the heroic lifestyle just yet, but she still felt like she should do something, and so, glancing around to make sure no one was looking, she reached into the inner pockets of her jacket, retrieving from her inventory a pair of shades and quickly putting them on.

The second the shades were on her, she became someone else entirely, as far as the world was concerned. Though she looked pretty much the same and wore the exact same clothes, anyone looking at her would not be able to tell that they were looking at a teenage girl named Jamie Mason. Rather, they would only be able to see the fledgling heroine known as Final Boss. Even those who knew of her identity already, such as her fellow Justice Queens or Luna, were affected by the identity-concealing effect whenever it was activated, though they could still put two and two together and see it was her.

Now ready to do heroic stuff, Jamie looked at where the opponent stood and quickly decided on what to do, her gray ring softly glowing as she tapped into its power. The black-haired girl momentarily reached into the inside of her jacket with her arm, and when she pulled it back out, it had been covered by some sort of power armor, her hand turned into an advanced grey-green arm cannon. Pointing it at Jylt, she fired a volley of missiles from it while backing away, towards Luna, offering her a hand. "Let's take that thing down together." She said, intentionally trying to make her voice a little deeper than usual to keep up the facade, even though it wasn't necessary. She wasn't very good at it, either.

Luna

Awesome, she took the bait, even if she's doing a lame deep voice thing, she already got a magical cloak why bother with the fake voice, whatever, that doesn't really matter "Thank God, another super, it's not easy to keep fighting an enemy that every time you meet has gained a great deal of power. Frankly I was already wondering how I'd stand a chance against him when last time I only barely beat him. By the way, don't hit his face, I don't know if he's just holding back and he gets angry when hit in the face or something else is going on. But when his mask cracks his power grows immensely, a mistake I made the first time he attacked me."

Jylt was playing his part perfectly, the impact he took threw him down to the ground and seemingly left a mark, but he also made sure to get up fast enough to show that hit was only enough to scratch him. "Al right, next attack, I'm thinking, gravity wells." The weapon I was wielding changed shape once again this time taking the shape of some sort of bazooka with a lot of gadgets on it to take energy readings. It took a few moments to charge up allowing Jylt to begin his charge, but just before he arrived I fired the gravity bazooka as it fired a purple orb that went besides Jylt and impacted the floor a bit further. But the moment it impacted on the floor it created a bright purple light releasing energy shockwaves that after getting thrown out would be pulled back in and everything inside that area got sucked towards this glowing center.

I made sure me and Jamie were outside of the range, but Jylt was still in it, even if only just. Jylt dropped down to the floor punching holes in the floor where he tried to hold on only to be pulled back leaving a trail in the floor. "Close one, that should keep him preoccupied, and open for another attack, wanna do the honors? I'm kinda running low on energy."

Daniel Carter/Killswitch-24-Mad City, Madworld

Her mind was focused, just as her moves were precise. I am not surprised. This is after all a woman who has made the Forever Knights essentially just give up on catching her. Her shield easily cut through my grenade but the attack had no chance of hitting me, and the grenade was out of range as it tore the sky open. Flying over the sailing shield, my eyes captured the image of several of the arrows she manipulates time with. But the trajectorywas too far off for me to be the target. So, the sky was her target? Sure enough the sky itself began to change, recreating the storm from last night. Impressive, the extent of her power. It was still technically mid day, but you could never tell at this moment. Storm clouds covered the sky and thereforethe sun, as rain cascaded in a torrential downpour. But as lightning cracked the sky I landed in the darkness, ignoring the rain as the armor kept me dry as I glanced back at tne darkened sky.

Clever girl...removing my flight advantage by trusting I would ground myself in the storm.

Well, as I was careful to evade her line of sight reentering the slums, I moved myself into the shadows as I activated my night vision, opting against thermal for the sheer amount of bodies in the slums. Now, this was a time for a change of pace. Taking my time in engaging her again, I stalked slowly through the slums as I placed two C4 Knives in hidden places to activate later for a diversion.

Then, discovering a larger and very incompleted industrial building, looked like a potential factory or warehouse I stabbed five more in the cold beams supporting the structure, creating the base for a trap I could use later, keeping a single C4 knife on me, as well as my titanium katana. With the diversion and traps set, I set back out on my hunt. I have allowed Lysia a window of roughly eight minutes to prepare herself since she started the storm, as it took me that long to make the necessary preparations.

It did not take long to find her, as I stalked her from the shadows of a crowded second story of a vacated home in the slums. Empty because the occupants like many others migrated out of the immediate combat area. I was crouched on the balcony, but there was no railing. Gripping the katana, I waited as I sat hidden about as invisible as one could be without actually being the invisible girl. Anticipating the thunder to cover my approach, as the next rolling orchestra sounded, I brandished the blade and lunged at my target from behind, aiming for a slashing flesh wound in her blind spot, but rather than open up another brawl. I rolled as I landed, slickly moving into another dark crevice as I sheathed the blade.

This was result of my training with Slade. Lysia is skilled, powerful and damn good. But the true test is adaptability. A master warrior can flow like water between the changing demands of a battle. I am not only the one demensional gun slinger she met in Baravia. I can fight Lysia hand to hand, unleash a bullet storm, confront her in sword combat, place a single long distance precision strike or use the elements and environment to my own advantage. Whatever will get the job done.

Still observing her reaction to the last strike, this time I pressed a small button, detonating one of the two hidden diversion bombs. Hoping to draw her attention away as I leapt forward one more, this time going in with quick successive strikes with ninjutsu, as I struck from her left flank and targeted the lower gut and the back of her knee first, the objective being to bring her to her back or knees to set up a more devastating blow.

The Ultimate Majin

Part Twelve: The Fruits of Training

Atiala Hypernova

Breathe in. Breathe out. Close your eyes, relax your muscles. Don't feel anxious, Atiala, you are strong enough to destroy the creepy pink bubblegum monster outside. You have trained more than you ever did throughout your entire life. You have reached plateaus of power you never even dreamt of before. You have become more broken and overpowered than Meta Knight.

You can do it. I appreciate you. I appreciate myself. Okay, this is getting weird, let's move on.

I reopened my eyes, gently and slowly grabbed onto the golden handle of the massive wooden door, then started pushing forward. And what do you know - it moved. Before I could even make out what was at the other side, I stepped into the light without a second thought...

And the Lookout - the last thing I saw before entering the Chamber - looks like it hasn't changed at all. Not a single bit. In fact, the biggest change to have happened is me. My old student clothes aren't fit for fighting and training, so I just got rid of them. The hairstyle was changed to a less wild one according to The Void's liking, too. Immediately after walking out of the dimension and shutting the door, I cracked my knuckles - oh, so satisfying - and stretched my arms a bit. I'll have to get used to this planet's weak gravity now. The green slugman, whose name - if I recall correctly - was Dende, turned around, his expression immediately changing to shock and surprise.

"I'm aware that the Time Chamber is incredibly potent, but I never expected this kind of success!" he spoke. I smiled and nodded, then walked off the stairs and back on the tiled floor of the Lookout. Huh, it's windy. I haven't felt that in a long while. And no more Void! No more mental scarring!

"Thank you! Thank you very much!" I exclaimed. "This feeling... is incredible. This feeling of ascension..."

With my newly found and amped up powers... Majin Buu is dead already.

Atiala, you're late! I told you that I give you only one hour - not four!

Oh, it's the Supreme Kai again. Hello, Supreme Kai! I'm sorry about that, but I found some faults in my achieved strength that I needed to fix...

I noticed that. You certainly have improved a lot in that time.

I know, right? I didn't even expect this much of a power increase! Oh, and not with some plot device potential unlock, but through my own sweat and blood! I think I can-

However, even though you've gotten better, your strength is nothing compared to Majin Buu.

Oh, really... I smirked like I never did before.

You're definitely past any Super Saiyan 3 right now, alright, but Zen Buu is far more capable than that. You're still weaker than people like Xander or Valka, and they couldn't kill him on their own. Considering that many of Earth's strongest heroes are traveling to New Namek, you should find the remaining ones and team up on the monster and buy us a bit more time, before he-

You haven't even seen my full strength yet, how can you gauge me like that?

Does it even matter? Look, many people have tried their luck before you, don't grow cocky!

"Uh, Atiala..." Huh? It was Dende, but his voice was filled with fear and fright. I looked up, at the sky, only to see...

Oh, no. And oh, yes! Before us, above the Lookout, a familiar person was floating. Long tentacle sticking out of the head. Pink muscular body. Confident smirk. It was Zen Buu, definitely. But this time, I'm not scared of him. Supreme Kai, I will call you back. There are more urgent matters.

"Not trying to crash the party, but I was told there was free candy nearby, and it turns out they were referring to you." The Majin spoke, descending on the perfectly flat surface of the Lookout. "Well, I guess I'll just eat you up, just like that."

"Yeah, yeah, make your sex jokes while you can, Buu," I replied, stepping forward and stopping right in front of the Majin. I never noticed how tall he was - I'm only up to this chest. Huh. "But this is where you'll come down for the last time."

He frowned. There's no more turning back. It's time to see if I'm truly the hero the planet needs.

Frost stared at the Namekian, and, despite his eyes not having pupils to speak of, anyone could tell that his vision was locked with Oragan's own. His red eyes were lifeless, yet still, anyone who gazed upon them would be well aware. This was a being that lacked empathy, and was concerned with one absolute ideal. Frost spoke, his mouth still uncovered by the biological mask his fourth form could employ, "Tell me, Namekian," he said, as people began subtly leaving the village, "If a creature is weak and frail, is it unfair that it dies when confronted by the apex predator?"

As Frost spoke, a Namekian family visibly shuffled out of their house and beginning to leave the village. The Arcosian didn't lift a finger as a massive explosion suddenly engulfed the Namekian family, igniting several huts in the village. Smoke and sparks flew through the air, though Frost didn't move either his body or his gaze an inch, staring down his challenger even in the face of carnage, "Or, is it simply natural selection at work." he said, his biological mask deploying, and his voice becoming noticeably more machine like, "Now I beckon you Namekian, strike me. Show me the power of the Super Namek."

Oragan

This is getting more and more crazy by the second. Frost's dwelling power was hard to comprehend - it was clear to both of us that I stand no chance in a fight to the death. But even then, I stood calm, with a furious and tranquil demeanor, the expression changing to shock only for a moment as the emperor lit a family of my helpless brothers on fire.

"If the predator kills the helpless for no other reason than enjoyment and 'fun', like you, then it is he who is the weak and the frail. And you are not against the purging of those, I'm sure." I muttered out as I walked through the flames, towards Frost. The white and teal aura around me swelled up, rising, becoming more and more fiery and electric, even starting to have a noticeable impact on the environment. Walls and boulders around us shattered from the pressure and the dust swirled around constantly.

Even though I am at my full power, I still cannot win. Nor can I hold my own long enough for the Earthlings to arrive. But...

"Lord Frost..." I continued, now standing right in front of the pupilless Frieza-seijin. "Both of us know who will come out as the winner of the match, and I see that I cannot win. However, I am aware that you are one whose heart is filled with envy and revenge. Perhaps it would be better for you to descend to my level and test your strength that way."
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Read my RWBY fanfiction!

Finland SSR wrote:Majin Buu (Sigma Island)

Oh, at last, she decided to make a move. I swiftly turned around to see myself being endlessly bombarded with metal blades. Come on, it's just metal, I can take it! My right foot stepped forward as thousands of shards and blades charged at me and kept bouncing off, with only a few going as far as to make an instantly regenerated stab wound. It doesn't seem to be doing so well.

And then she swung her sword again. In an instant, I saw and felt the power emitted by her and the weapon to skyrocket, as the... force, or whatever it was, struck me with considerable force, blowing me away for a hundred meters or so and sending me crashing into a mountain. Well, that happened. I guess she is not nearly as mediocre and useless in this universe. I could even go so far as to put her in Xander levels of strength. Maybe a little higher. Maybe a little lower.

I cracked my neck a little, then teleported back in front of Valka and started clapping, speaking:

"Bravo! What kind of exercises have you been doing to get this much stronger?" I extended my hand forward and materialized a complete replica of the Asgardian's Oathbringer, made of the same material and everything. Valka's memories + Lucien's powers + my enhancements = success. "Last time, you couldn't even tag my fat form. Let's see if you can get a higher score this time."

As soon as I finished the phrase "this time", I vanished from view, slamming towards Valka from the side and proceeding to send a barrage of sword strikes at the Asgardian. The borders between the helmet and the body and between armor chips should be the weak points - let's target those.

She observed her attack of metal being for naught, but witnessed with some satisfaction that the Valkaforce had made an impact. She noted his teleportation abilities, but made no reply, letting her mouth uplift into a smirk. However, a frown came over her face as she witnessed her own sword. That was Oathbringer, surely, and this Buu had spoken of how she had gotten stronger. Perhaps, he was from an alternate universe? But that still did not explain his ability to summon his sword.

And then, suddenly, he teleported, Valka almost instantaneously going on guard, but she was too late to see his slash toward her flank. However, his attack was for naught, for in Hell, Valka had forged this armor, of a World-Scale, within her own fires, metals and those of hell. Her own sword would not be able to penetrate it, and so, she allowed his barrage, only ducking when this other Oathbringer swung for her head. Taking advantage of her position, she threw a punch at Buu's stomach, charged within the Valkaforce.

She then spoke her first words, curtly, saying, "That sword is not for you to wield," and with a flick of her finger, Oathbringer dissolved into liquid metal, Valka launching it, along with other liquid metal at Buu, to meld to his skin, heating the metal to thousands of degrees Fahrenheit as she did so.

Lanvin looked up as the Knight appeared; his arrival was entirely anticipated as Lanvin had heard him walking about on the above levels not that long prior to his entrance. Chuckling softly as the Knight started to speak, Lanvin closed his eyes briefly and concluded his rummaging around of the dead man's cranium.

The ability of Teleportation was now his. He could go anywhere in the blink of an eye...All he had to do was test it...That time would come soon.

He shivered slightly in a moment of euphoria as the Hunger was rewarded before standing up and looking at the Knight, he brought his hand up to his face and clenched it into a fist; looking at it intensely for a moment in thought before directing his full attention towards the Knight.

"I prefer the term 'Harvesting'..." He dead panned as he watched the Knight closely, "So much wasted potential if they squander their abilities doing nothing..."

Lanvin licked his lips, "You don't honestly expect to win this," his tone was one of bemusement as he cocked his head, "Do you?"

"The term is Murder, but then again you and your sick obsession don't seem to think ripping open an innocent's head is wrong".

"You don't honestly expect to win this,", his tone was one of bemusement as he cocked his head, "Do you?".
The Knight lifted an eyebrow under his helmet, "It's strange how you muse you're the one with the upperhand, but out of all the times we've fought so far", The Knight stepped down onto the dirt gravel level with Lanvin, "It's mostly been you who's had to run". The Knight saw Lanvin's hands slightly twitch, "But I digress, you have your trump card", The Knight gestured to Lanvin himself, obviously implying his powers.

"And so do I", as soon as The Knight said that, Titan slammed down a few feet to his right, severely cracking the ground under her, Titan stood up, giving a smirk towards Lanvin. "The thing is Derrick, you may believe yourself invincible, but there are others who can beat you". Titan cracked her knuckles, "Enough Parlaying, this is only ending one way".

"Finally..." Lanvin chuckled as he looked at Titan, he pointed at her, "A challenge..." Passing a glance at the Knight as his finger remained locked on Titan, he shrugged, "Now it looks like I'll actually have to commit to this little game we've been playing..."

Lanvin took a moment - basically a split second - to collect himself, a smile wormed onto his lips as he looked at Titan before looking back at the Knight again, "So..." Lanvin spoke loudly and resolutely, his voice menacingly echoing off the walls of the darkened room, "Shall we begin?"

Not giving his adversaries a moment longer to prepare; Lanvin went on the offensive, throwing his arms forward in a mighty thrusting motion and sending a telekinetic blast at the duo which was strong enough to rip the paint from the walls, shatter every window on the floor and blow damn near every door in the large connecting room off of their hinges with blistering speed.

The shockwave that followed the initial blast carried with it pieces of concrete, glass shards and chunks of the pulverised corpse and sparking wires which had previously been at Lanvin's feet.

Lanvin then did not give The Knight, nor Titan a moment to prepare, Lanvin on an all out offensive, thrusting his arms forward in a telekinetic blast, which sent The Knight blasting through the halfbuilt wall, and shredding it as he finished. The Knight shot his grappel, hooking onto a sturdy pole until Lanvin finished his attack. Titan however, was less so effected by the telekinetic attack, Titan braced herself as she was pushed back a few feet by the attack, Titan then used her strength to stand her ground and resist the blast, after it was finished, the few pieces of rubble dropped to the ground.

Titan cracked her arm, "Is that it?" Titan partly saw Lanvin through the dust, however being blown back towards the building it gave her a more decent view than The Knight had. Titan then jetted forward at Lanvin.

Lanvin heard Titan start her approach, while he was somewhat puzzled that she hadn't been thrown back very far as a result of the telekinetic blast, he did know that she was charging at him.

Fast.

Lanvin was about to blink when an idea struck him; he remembered that there had been a roof support column just behind him - one of approximately 12 on this section of the floor. Which he could definitely use to his advantage, mainly since it was obvious that he could in no way stand up to the punches that Titan's momentum would allow her to deliver.

Without a moment to lose, Lanvin decided that it was either now or never to give his teleportation power a test run - albeit a test run in combat conditions. He concentrated deeply on a point in the room just behind where Titan was and willed himself there; a return of the overwhelming disorientation signalled that his efforts had been successful as Lanvin vanished from where he'd been standing before staggering back from another position across the room.

He shook his head as his vision blurred slightly.

That was going to take some getting used to.

He turned to face Titan as she charged towards where he'd been standing nanoseconds before; only now she was running face first into a support column.

If he repeated this a few times then the tables would turn drastically in his favour - more so than they already were. The roof collapsing would certainly limit Titan's mobility at least and completely pin and trap her under a pile of rubble at best.

Master Shimura

Unfortunately for both Shimura and Alastir, the vision was not at it's end for as soon as the blinding light subsided and permitted the two to see once more. What they saw before them was a sight that neither wished to see, Ryuichi was on his knees, his body covered in fresh wounds from the unseen assault he had suffered at the hands of one man, a person who was physically superior to the young Masaki in every way, his name was Maddox Shatterstar, and he stared down at the injured child with contempt, before turning his head towards the only person that he respect, waiting on the decree of the Mad King, Maxwell Morningstar. Shatterstar would hear the order being spoken from Max Max, who replied with a stern expression on his face "Kill him." And it was at that point that the behemoth grabbed hold of the child's head and ripped it off entirely, the sight of watching Ryuichi's head removed from the rest of his body nearly drove the elder Shimura to tears, and caused Alastir's darkened energy to shoot out all around him in utter rage at the sight before him, the vision coming to an end.

"They'd do that to a child?!" Alastir damn near roared, his darkened energy nearly severing the mind link between himself and Shimura, there were few things that could push Alastir to seething rage, being defeated was one thing, but the murder of an innocent child who lost control of his powers?! Alastir would show no mercy or contempt to those who would simply kill children without any care of how innocent they were, to Alastir, those people were something beyond being a monster, they were downright heartless bastards "If this vision even comes close to being true, then I will find out where those two bastards live and destroy everything they've built!" Alastir practically snarled, almost allowing his rage to explode like a great typhoon, which was suppressed by the presence of Shimura's hand on his shoulder, calming the Dark God down "I'm sorry you had to see that Shimura, It's just infuriating to watch things like that..."

As soon as Alastir apologized, the mind link suddenly expired, Shimura growing so weak that he was unable to maintain his concentration to maintain such a link between the two "I-I'm out of power to maintain the Mind Link, Alastir..." Shimura tried to get up carefully, to which Alastir offered his shoulder to help his old friend up. Shimura's jade eyes stared directly into Alastir's Red-Ringed Eyes, a sad expression hidden behind the jade eyes of Master Shimura "Promise me Alastir, promise that you won't let that final vision come true, I just can't bear to see a young child have his life taken away from him." Shimura asked, a desperate expression on his face as he awaited the answer from his longtime friend.

Alasitr looked conflicted for a moment, normally desiring to not interfere in the natural order of things, including destiny itself, but this was a final wish from a dying old man, Master Shimura, the man who always had hope that he (Alastir) would one day reject his newfound power and revert back to the old Dark God that everyone knew and respected. If he could not revert, the least he could do is satisfy Shimura's last wish "I promise Master Shimura, even if it goes against everything that I've stood for, I will honor this last wish." A rare sight would grace Alastir's expression, in the combined emotions of sadness and happiness, a small smile graced Alastir's tearful face "You're one of the few people who can push me to such a state of vulnerability Shimura, It has been thousands of years since I've last shed tears."

It was by this point that Shimura's body became surrounded by the vast Cosmic Energies that he had stored up for the thousands of years that he had been alive, enough to wipe out multiple galaxies with a single gesture, the latent energy that the elder Shimura never used for offensive means "Thank you Alastir..." Shimura smiled, tears of happiness quietly streaming down his face, a massive column of this cosmic energy shooting up into the stars "At least I can die with a smile on my face... It has been a fun ride for the past two hundred thousand years, but now..." Shimura's tired eyes began to gently close "...Now I finally get to go home, where I rightfully belong..." And with those few words spoken, Shimura gracefully fell into a deep sleep in which he would never awaken to see the dawn, having died peacefully and naturally, just the way he wanted to go out.

Lord Shiveron

The Republic of Atria wrote:- Snip -

At Otis' innocent suggestion, Lord Shiveron laughed heartily at the mere mentioning of being 'Tail Buddies', he found the mere name of the suggestion both ridiculous and funny at the same time "I like your personality already Otis." Shiveron smiled gracefully, being one of the few Arcosians who actually laughed at both funny suggestions and even jokes "I've heard about the Omega Effect, and I came to the understanding at how the cosmic balance shifted that a major god had either passed away, or was killed, It looks like the latter explanation seems to be true." Shiveron brought his hand out to the Inhuman and shook the Omega God's hand with a smile on his face "You are free to leave the ship anytime you want my friend, and I also wish you good luck on your journeys my friend."
