"You piss me off" He groaned again, just his voice. He smiled and his other hand clenched in response. "I like it, I hate it"
"Who was that fuck with the strange hair? Wheres the fuck that I came here for? Why do you complicate this so much!" Well there went the liking part, it was kinda infuriating. He came here so he could get really strong, and go punch space aliens that would eventually try and take over the earth and probably hurt the rest of his family.
Instead he got a really big piece of gum that was murdering these weird strong people near him and spouting a bunch of weird things. It wasn't an ideal day.

He decided they could probably talk while he tried to murder him and vice versa and zoomed forward, one of his fists outstretched for the Pink thing.

Asumar Masaki | Kazuko Masaki

Remaining relatively unaware about the new presence that just graced Sigma Island, Asumar and Kazuko watched the progress of the Nanobots through Asumar's Command Gauntlet and so far they weren't disappointed. The Nanobots were almost finished with outlining the entire structure of the city they would be tasked with creating, and after that point it would be smooth sailing "I didn't know that you were working on this project under my nose, when were you going to tell me you were creating Nanobots?" Kazuko asked his brother, who simply turned towards Kazuko and stated "Well I was supposed to tell you earlier on, but considering Alastir destroyed our work, I even thought that the Nanobots were all but destroyed, but looks like I was mistaken." Asumar replied with an entertained smile on his face, the two brothers remaining relatively unaware about what was to unfold...

Nelli missed Kylie staring at her as she started carefreely juggling her knife, the supposedly sharp edge seemingly unable to cut into her skin whenever she fumbled a little, instead sliding past her hands harmlessly. Only when the Hybrid Lantern began talking again did Nelli turn her attention back to her. "Oooh." The girl mouthed, her face lighting up with realization as she understood what Kylie meant. She didn't know a lot about Earth culture yet, but she at least knew what superheroes were and that they went by false names when they were out doing superhero-y stuff. Her only reference so far was Kiris, who went by Dragon Mage, but that was enough to help her understand, and so, she nodded to show that she got it. In any case, it was nice to know her real name. Kylie rolled off the tongue much more easily than Lady Lantern.

"Red Knight?" The winged girl asked, curious, as she stood next to the now unmasked heroine, expecting her to begin leading the way to the castle, which she assumed was the large stone hill in the distance. Still toying with her knife, she wondered how hard Kylie's mission would be, and how long it would take. She heard the voices of approaching people, but paid them little mind. After all, if the people around her didn't seem particularly fazed by her wings or anything, then surely it was fine if she didn't bother hiding them.

Suddenly, from the rubble that was the only thing left of East City, and, more specifically, from the remains of Hiroshi's apartment, a lone figure rose, debris and dust falling off in cascades as the being pulled free from the ground, coming to stand completely still in the middle of the city's ruins. The figure in question appeared to be a young blonde woman at first glance, but her metallic arms and legs, along with the bladed wings and the rest of the armor, quickly gave away the fact that she was not a human being, or at least, not an ordinary one. Her headpiece was glowing a bright red as she simply stood there, almost as if in the middle of a death-like trance.

"SYSTEM REBOOT COMPLETE." A voice that was more mechanical than humanlike suddenly came from the cyborg, her headpiece's red lights beginning to blink rapidly. "SELF-REPAIR PROCEDURE SUCCESSFUL. UPGRADE DETECTED. RE-SYNC PROTOCOL INITIATED." The voice continued, the headpiece turning black with a red vertical line periodically sweeping through it, indicating that the upgrade in question was being processed. Suddenly, a massive ammount of electricity began surging from her, arcing through her blade wings and occasionally shooting away, vaporizing large slabs of shattered concrete. "INITIATING TEST RUN. POWER RELEASE SEQUENCE IN PROGRESS. SUPERNOVA MODE ACTIVATED. The voice stated, but even then, the energy continued to build up, until it was at the point where it could easily outshine the sun, the area immediately around her completely devoid of rubble by now, only the broken earth remaining. Eventually, however, all of that power was reabsobed into the cyborg's body. "POWER RELEASE SEQUENCE COMPLETE. SUPERNOVA MODE CORRECTED. UPGRADE SUCCESSFUL." The voice said.

Then, finally, Black Nova moved, looking around, seeing nothing but ruin, a sky very different from the one she knew, and two strangers fighting each other. "The fuck is this place?" She disdainfully wondered out loud, her voice now far less mechanical and more lifelike than before.

Lanvin's only response to the Knight's demands was a loud and belly aching laugh as he slowly clapped his hands at the Knight.
"Give up?" Lanvin asked as he scoffed; he looked over the Knight's armour and quickly discerned that it had received an upgrade since their last encounter, "I'll admit..." He walked around the room, putting a table between himself and the Knight as he spoke, "Asking me to fold when I have all the cards...That," he poked a finger at the Knight, "That takes balls..."

Lanvin's finger point shot into a telekinetic push as he flicked his wrist in the Knight's direction; hitting the armoured man with enough force to knock him off his feet, "Although," Lanvin continued speaking as he readied his other hand for an attack, "I'm glad to see you finally decided to invest in common sense..." He chuckled, referring to the Knight's new armoured mouth protection.

"You talk about holding all of the Cards, but where I'm standing, I've got the upperhand", The Knight was then thrown back by a telekinetic strike, smashing him through a glass panel, spinning him, and him landing on his Stomach. The Knight stood up, taking a knee he quickly fired his grapple, shooting between Lanvin's legs and grabbing the handle of one of the large metal drawers on a rolling cart. The Knight then hit the retract on the gun, pulling the large rolling container forward smashing into Lanvin. if Lanvin would've thrown the Cart off of him, The Knight would then duck behind a counter stating, "You've gone in too far Lanvin", the sudible of the footsteps of armored Security guards, twice the previous amount, "You should probably give up".

Lanvin staggered forward, grunting as he wrestled his foot from underneath the cart, from the cart's impact. He looked at the Knight and held up his left hand; grimacing as it became enthralled by a golden rotating ball of radioactive particles.

Without so much as a second thought, Lanvin sent a stream of radioactive particles at the Knight; forcing him to remain behind his cover.
Glancing over his shoulder as he started to fire bursts of flame from his right hand at the door behind him - setting fire to the frame and the wall to delay the security guards that were approaching; Lanvin could only smirk at the Knight's words.

"Gone too far?" He asked aloud, turning back in the Knight's direction as he stopped throwing a stream of flames with his right hand and clenched it into a fist, "No...No...I haven't gone far enough..."

As Lanvin shot up a burst of flames, setting the frame on fire and melting it, the frame half collapsed closing the doorway partway, delaying the Security guards stuck outside.

"Gone too far?", The Knight saw Lanvin clench his fist, steam pouring out, "No...No...I haven't gone far enough...", The Knight took out a small, ball sized concussion detonator. Sliding it under the counter as it rolled, Lanvin would've took one look at it before it detonated at close range, catching him off guard and stunning him. The Knight then took this advantage to leap over the counter, dropping off he then threw a flurry of punches right at Lanvin's head, face, torso, beating on him as he was stunned. The Knight then moved back a few steps, as Lanvin would've thrown some sort of flame attack at hgim, The Knight then wound up and charged at Lanvin, Drop kicking him with enough force, sending Lanvin through the cracked and smoldering frame blocking the doorway, out into the hallway full of security guards.

As the Security took aim at Lanvin, Shields, assault weaponry, durable flak jackets and Body Armor, helmets and other equipment. The Knight stood in view of the hole of the blocked doorway,
"I've think you've done quite enough, Best to give up now".

All he remembered was falling.

And then landing, but that part wasn’t as fun. The ever-active hero, Rip Valentine, had been chasing some nondescript thugs across the roof-tops of some city on the East Coast, in violation of the Registration Acts. After all, Rip had an attitude and a reputation, and no one was going to tell him when to stop being a hero. He wasn’t just any hero, either, he was Jump Man. Still, Jump Man spat out the black dirt and rose to his feet, a bit wobbly from the unexpected departure. “Who the fuck -” He began, looking around at the lovable cast of misfits.

“Oh sweet jesus…” He muttered, looking at some faces he knew from the hero community, and his own internet searches. Rather than speak up, he just listened in on their own conversations as he took in the surroundings of wherever he had been transported. Camelot, was it? That meant he was in the past, somehow. He smirked, mouthing to himself, “The man who jumped through time.”

The Parahuman walked over to the group, standing in their semi-circle, listening to Lady Lantern, and turning to look at the castle as she pointed it out in the distance. Also coming within earshot was the rabble of peasants and commoners who had came to see what the commotion on the hill was all about. To Jump Man, they were something else… “Ah! My loyal fans, they’re coming to see what has become of their futuristic, devilishly handsome hero.” He declared, leaving the circle and walking towards a gathering of people coming over another hill.

“Hello! Hello!” Jump Man cried, “Everyone, please, single file! I have enough papers for everyone to get an autograph, and maybe if I’m generous, everyone might get a handshake, too!” He continued with a warm, inviting smile. “I know you’ve all come to see the Mighty Jump Man and his... “ He said, turning to look at the others who had came through time with him, “Less than lackluster groupies! It was more of a lynch mob.

Salis listened to Lady Lantern with a raised eyebrow. What she was saying made very little sense to him. Merlin, Camelot, time travel, it was so different and strange, and that was when she was talking to a man who could make inter-dimensional portals on demand. Not only that, but she was apparently part of the Justice Queens, a group he had heard plenty about during his ventures. If she found out who he was then thing could get very ugly very fast. The best course would be to help her on whatever mission she was on, especially if she was telling the truth about having the way back. And then there was the problem of the brown haired man that was with them. Something about him was very familiar, but he just couldn't place where he'd seen him before. So far he didn't seem to recognize him at all, and it would be good to keep it that way until he could be identified as an ally or not.

Salis was broken from this train though when a small butterfly fluttered past, catching his eye as he started to take another look at his surroundings. Everything was so clear, pristine, and he could actually see the sky for the first time in months. A small smile started to creep into his face as he took a deep breath of fresh air. It was definitely not an ideal scenario, but it was freedom. Looking down at his cuffs, he decided it was time to start exercising the one muscle he couldn't while in jail. Focusing on his handcuffs he managed to create portals through the ring's off each cuff, splitting them by redirecting part of the ring to somewhere else. An audible snap could be heard as the metal rings fell from his wrists. His grin widened as he rubbed his somewhat raw wrists. It had taken more effort than he would have liked, but his powers were back, and he truly felt unstoppable.

After enjoying himself for a bit, he turned his attention back to the group that had come through with him. Their friend Lady Lantern decided to formerly introduce herself as Kylie, and interesting move considering their rather strange company. She continued to tell them that her apparent mission was to stop some red knight from doing... something. At this point Salis was less than impressed by her first impression. He was about to break in with further questions when he noticed that some peasants were approaching, and they didn't look all to happy about strangers flashing into existence near them. His next move would have been to open a portal towards the castle, but some wack-job pretty boy decided to greet the coming mob like they were his personal fan-base. As the man gloated, reveled, and generally acted like a narcissistic jackass, Salis was sorely tempted to just kill him then and there. The coming mob was a bigger problem though, and dragging him on his ass would have to do for now.

"Stop being and idiot and move before they hang you," he growled as he grabbed the man by his collar and threw him back towards a portal he created. "Everyone get inside, it'll take us closer to the castle and away from the not so peaceful masses."

Lawbringer: Homefront Attack

5:30pm
Glenmore High School, Basketball Practice

Anna was passed the ball from one of her teammates, quickly dribbling and moving a few steps before taking a shot. The shot missed (though just barely), bouncing off and being rebounded by one of her teammates. Beyond Anna's Vigilante life, in Aiding her friend "Marcus Branston" also Known as The Knight, Anna was an Honor student at her school. So far Anna's school Life had gone exceptionally well, she was getting As and Bs in all classes, aswell as making ground on her School's basket ball team. Moving down court near their Basket, Anna was quick to guard her position as a point guard, the opponents took a shot, bouncing off the backboard and landing in the hands of one of Anna's teammates. They were interrupted by a Whistle, "Alright, that's good for now, take a water break and we'll meet back in 2", They broke up, many heading to the benches to get a quick drink of water.

Anna sat down on the bench, taking a quick drink of water before breathing and rubbing her forehead, One of Anna's friends sat down next to her. "Nice work Ann" she said sitting back, "Thanks Shelby" Anna said leaning forward in her seat. "What're you doin' this weekend?", 'Dunno, Studying for the history test, after that who knows", "Wanna get together with some of my friends", Anna paused, though she'd made friends with many of the other students, being asked over was something that'd never happen before. Anna sat backwards, meeting Shelby's eyes lever with her own, "Sure, I'd be okay with that" she said with a half smile, "Cool with me"- They were interrupted when they heard a whistle blow. "Alright girls let's meet up", The coach said, gesturing to join him by the insignia in the center of the gym, the team complied meeting them at the center.

The Coach held a black, more durable looking basketball as he dribbled it, "The next form we're working on is advanced dribble tactics, some you can shoot through an opponent's guard, under them, we'll be working on form". The coach then decided to spin the ball on his finger, a trick he said he'd show the girls at the end of the season, though the trick was short lived when a bullet shot through the ball, causing the coach and everyone to stare in shock. "As much as you guys are enjoying this little shindig" a Gang Member said as he gestured to another Gang Member who stopped aiming his rifle, "We've come to crash the party", The Gang leader moved in, followed by 12 others. The Coach and several others were shocked, and most afraid, however Anna was firm in her stance, not showing fear. A Familiar gang member noticed this, walked over to Anna carrying a pistol he stated, "Hey, I remember you, you're that little resistant runt from Christmas Eve".

Anna simply scowled at the Gang Member, who took a swipe at Anna, only to have her twist his arm and throw him off, "Oh, Ho, Ho, feisty are we, Well we are gonna have fun with you". The Gang Member moved towards Anna, a Gang Mmeber behind her put a firm hand on her shoulder, Anna grabbed it and twisted it off, the other one tried to Pistol Whip Anna, only to have her quickly take hold and disarm him of the Pistol. "that's Enough", the Leader said, as a large brute like member moved on Anna, grabbing her half by her neck, Anna attempted to break free, however his sheer roided up strength was too much, as he slammed her down onto the hard floor, then punching her across her head knocking her out. "Anna!' One of her members shouted, the leader fired his rifle into the air, "Enough dramatics, jinks, tro, escort our little, MVPs, into a locker, and keep them in there". The brute like gang member nodded, hraving Anna over his shoulder as he escorted them to an empty equipment locker.

The Team Members were forced in there, with the brute tossing Anna, luckily being catched by the coach and another team member. The Coach then angrily watched as they closed the door, locking them inside the locker. "What do we do?" Shelby asked with sheer fear in her voice, Anna's head resting in her lap, the Coach shook his head, "We wait. We'll be saved, Janice get some of the towels from the back, we need to stop Lawson's bleeding". A taller girl nodded as she and another ran to the back, The Coach peered down at Anna, 'Hang On, He'll be here soon'.

But that might have happened later in time, which is still our past... well, you get the idea? He wears all red, that's his thing." Kylie was about to shoo everyone away from the approaching mob, but even she couldn't have anticipated what happened next.

Kylie stared, awkwardly, as this... Jump Man engaged with the native people. "What the..?" She murmured, watching him proudly introduce himself to the peasants before him.

"What's 'e talkin' about?" One of the men shouted, not understanding 90% of what Rip was saying.
"Did I 'ear 'im say 'devil'?" One of the women commented, retreating at the mere sight of Jump Man and the strange folk behind him.
"What's a 'dollars'?" Another man croaked, leveling a shoddily made pitchfork at Rip's chest.

"Oh, this isn't going to be good." Kylie realized, as the group of poorly-armed, but definitely angry, peasants began to surround Jump Man and level "weapons" at him.

How r00d.

On the other side of the portal, Kylie tumbled to the ground in the dust. Note to self: don't dive through portals. Momentum carries. It's not like flying head-first into a wormhole; out there in space, physics are weird. With Rip tethered to her arm, he would come tumbling through after her soon enough. Kylie was going to get out of the way, until she looked around and realized they were portaling right outside the castle walls. That would make getting inside a lot easier, as soon as everyone was here with her. But since she didn't move out of the way, well, the next person to cross the portal was probably going to get a face-full of plot.

Valka tilted her head, partially in confusion, and then in comprehension as, through the Valkaforce, she observed Shimura's incurable condition. She was now in the inenviable position of having to kill Alastir now, an insult to Shimura's memory, or allow her oath to pass unfulfilled, an dishonor to herself. Drawing herself out of her deliberations, she spoke to Shimura. "I am sorry to see your end, Master Shimura. You shall be missed, yet not forgotten. Our interactions were not many, nevertheless, it will be a lesser universe for thy loss."

She turned her attention to the advancing Alastir now, raising an eyebrow, her wrath slowly cooling down to embers. "Your repeated actions on and against Midgard were foolish, and you most certainly broke your oath, Supreme Demonic Dark God," she said with a smirk as to the pompous title. "I swore an oath against thee, and I do not take my oaths lightly, but however, in light of Shimura's oncoming passing, a fulfillment of my oath would violate the memory of the God of Peace. And let it not be said Valka Silverhand is unreasonable. Oaths do not possess a timetable, and so, I shall let this occasion pass without the spilling of thy blood, Alastir. Do not mistake my mercy for forgiveness, for that is a whole other road, and a much longer one. If further actions are taken against Asgard and its allies, the oath will be fulfilled, make no mistake of that. What say you?"

"Today I see the passing of a friend, and an ally. If thou wouldst have me, Shimura, I shall stay with you until the end. Death, though is not the end of our journey, as I have learned." And so, she planted herself there, like a tree by a river, her sword sheathed again, as she looked upon the passing of Peace Incarnate.

Serene
Serene smiled at Etla's comment, feeling like the two of them could really become friends at some point. Etla was quite sweet, if a bit goofy sometimes. She wasn't sure how to answer Etla's question however. It took her a bit off guard. She had been so worried about losing her brother she didn't even think about what they'd do next. "Well, I don't really know to be honest. But... I have this feeling. This feeling that we should return to Egypt. It's where this all started. There must be something we could learn there, something we've missed." She said, pausing before continuing:

"You know, you could come with us if you want. I understand if you're busy, but the offer stands if you want it." Serene said a little shyly, not used to speaking to new people like this. She didn't know what Etla said, but Serene imagined she might want to get back to her boyfriend Craig. Serene couldn't help but wonder what he must be like.

Cora
Cora frowned a little bit when Jamie asked how important her issue was, not wanting to shout it through the door. However she then saw Jamie open the door, asking what was going on. "Hi Jamie, sorry to interrupt." She said walking into the room and standing nearby Jamie's bed. The room was filled with video games and televisions. Cora didn't have many possessions herself, so she always marveled at how much stuff people seemed to own. When Jamie closed the door behind her Cora spoke again. "I never told you how I came to be did I?" She asked softly before continuing, "I was kidnapped at a young age, though I don't remember anything before that. The people who kidnapped me put me in this underground lab. They kept me there for years, forcing me to learn to fight, running tests on me. They... tortured me, until they finally turned me into a cyborg. Soon after that I managed to escape after the lab was shut down." Cora paused taking a deep breath trying not to cry.

"Now though, the same people that stole me from my family are doing it again. They're stealing children from juvenile prisons and turning them into super soldiers for the government. I just... I just can't sit back and let them get away with it. Let them put kids through the same hell I went through. I'm going after them, and I'm going to stop them. I want your help Jamie. I know I'm asking a lot. It'll be dangerous. But I really need your help."

Jump Man put his hands up at the unexpectedly rowdy crowd. "Fellas, fellas, c'mon now, no need to be hasty, everyone can have a piece of the Jump Man pie." He said in a failed attempt to appease the mob. He was saved at the last minute by Kylie grabbing onto him, yanking the Parahuman away from danger and sending him rolling through a portal the Lady Lantern had made. Getting his mouth full of dirt for the second time within a ten-minute time span royally pissed off the hero, who rolled and jumped to his feet immediately, his eyes locking onto Kylie immediately. "What the fuck, lady?!" He protested, trailing his eyes up her body and onto the castle walls.

"Oh hey! We're at the castle. Good job. Now, as team leader, I think we should enter this castle and find it's wizard, and see if he knows anything about this Red Knight I've been hearing so much about. No clue what he wants with me, but as heroes, we should find him and bring him to justice! Perhaps he's an old archenemy of mine, trying to trap me in the past..." Rip thought aloud, placing his finger on his chin in deep thought, blissfully ignorant to the earfuls he was probably receiving from Kylie and the rest of the time travelers.

Majin Buu (East City)

Wombocombo wrote:"You piss me off" He groaned again, just his voice.

Ugh. I know that I usually don't get this emotion, but I'm bored. Seriously. Bored out my this little heroic type who's still thinking that he can overpower me, even though I recently ate someone over a thousand times stronger than him and he almost died just a few seconds before this moment. Not to mention that someone, or something, far more interesting is increasing it's power level right behind me, so there's quite literally no reason for me to waste my time with him any longer.

"Just... go away, please." I spoke as I caught Adrian's speeding fist. "I don't want to see you anymore."

And then, I tossed the poor Earthling to the skies with enough force to send him across a continent. Now, what was that I just heard behind my back...

I turned around, looking down on the ground while still floating in the air. What my eyes witnessed was a woman, a blonde one, in fact, though definitely not an Earthling. The energy emitted by her body was not ki based, and while I could still feel it, it wasn't hard to notice that it was mechanical in nature - the wings and the metallic limbs gave that away, too. So, what we're seeing is a cyborg, right? And she is rising from where Hiroshi's little apartment used to be... My best guess is that this newcomer is one of the poor Saiyan's friends who visited him for the birthday.

It's too bad that I had to thrash it. I folded my arms and descended down from the skies, landing in front of the new challenger as she muttered out random computing phrases until finishing it off with a strongly worded version of "Where am I?". Not the most ladylike presentation of yourself.

I stood calmly, inspecting the woman, and muttered out:

"Oh, this? This is what a road to perfection feels like."

Nelli nodded at Kylie, feeling that, despite having been given a lengthy explanation, she hadn't actually learned anything about the red knight beyond the fact that he wore red armor, wich was rather intuitive. That was fine, though. At least she had confirmed something about the red knight. After all, she would've hated to end up cutting someone believing that he was the red knight just because he wore red armor, when 'red knight' could've been indicative of anything going from hair color to skin color. But now she knew something for certain, even if it was a borderline useless tidbit of information. Truth be told, she wasn't sure if Kylie would want her to cut the red knight, anyway.

However, before long, the whole situation degraded, as soon enough one of the people who had arrived, a young man who seemed more extravagant than normal for their small group of misfits, walked up to the encroaching masses and apparently riling them up with several words that even she didn't quite understand, despite the translation spell she had used to learn English, which had been far from perfect. Regardless, the point was that the villagers surrounding the group swiftly turned hostile towards them, raising makeshift weapons that looked pitiable to the Star Demon, but would nonetheless likely hurt if they hit her. Nelli saw one of the odd men near her open up some sort of hole in space which supposedly led elsewhere, and watched Kylie jump through with Jump Man, before turning back to the crowds, figuring she could try to reason one more time.

"We're not here to hurt you." The girl said, raising her hands in an appeasing gesture, though the fact that she was still clutching her black knife did not help matters at all, and as she heard the peasants shout at her, accusing her of being a witch, Nelli sighed deeply, before turning around and jumping through the portal.

What she did not expect was to crash head-first into Kylie's generous chest. Tumbling to the ground along with the other girl, Nelli lost her grip on her knife, which collided with her arm harmlessly, as if it was only a toy. The dark-haired girl let out some sort of muffled attempt at speech, before finally pushing herself off of Kylie and backing away a little. "That was supposed to be a 'thank you', for breaking my fall. I'm glad it was not the other way around; I don't think I could've done the same for you." She said, evidently aware of her lack of front-bumpers, though she still had a good few years of development ahead of her, anyway. Pausing, she frowned. "You don't look verey comfortable. Are you alright?"

Looking to the side, she noticed the self-proclaimed Jump Man looking up at the castle walls and speaking some more. As usual, she did not understand much of what he said, but he did remind her that Kylie said they should start at the castle. Looking back to the girl whose boobies had saved her from a face full of dirt, she spoke. "Do you need me to cut that or sneak in?" She asked, pointing at the castle walls with her knife.

The girl with golden hair listened attentively as Serene stated that she had a feeling she and her brother could find a solution to their problem in Egypt, simply nodding along. She didn't really know why she suspected that, but if it worked for her, then all the better; Etla was certainly happy that she had at least found the drive to continue looking for an exit, rather than resign herself to cry over a brother she had not yet lost.

Hearing Serene's offer, the Rainborn perked up a little. "You want me to come with you?" She asked, placing a finger on her chin as she thoughtfully looked at the sky, wondering if she had anything to do back home. Ihra got accustomed to the human world fairly quickly, so it was unlikely that she'd need her for anything, and Craig was probably busy working on one of his projects on Travenios, as he usually was. She didn't mind, having grown quite fond of the genius mutant's lifestyle, though staying on the island all the time could get a tad dull; she had a phone, anyways, so he could call her if he needed her. With that in mind, she figured that there was nothing wrong if she helped her new friends out for a bit longer.

"I'll go." She decided at last. "It might be fun. And this way I can make sure you don't start crying again." She said, light-heartedly teasing the other girl.

Jamie allowed Cora in without an issue, simply shaking her head and forcing a little smile when the cyborg apologized. Noting the place where her friend had elected to stand, she walked over to her bed and sat down on the edge, looking up at Cora, suddenly feeling rather self-conscious as she sat next to the much taller redhead. Nonetheless, she said nothing about that and instead paid attention to what Cora had to say, wondering what exactly was the issue. She certainly didn't expect to receive what was essentially a story on shady government projects and human experiments, but, briefly looking at her ring and remembering what an incredibly crazy world they lived in, she could only believe in Cora's words. The cyborg continued her sad tale, telling Jamie the story of how she had been tortured and cruelly experimented on until she wound up becoming what she was today, escaping from her makers, and for the better it seemed, as she had become a prominent hero.

Seeing her friend begin to tear up, Jamie seized up a little, feeling that she should comfort her and wanting to do so, but having no idea of how to do that, especially with a matter as serious as this one. When eventually Cora continued, she breathed a nearly imperceptible sigh of relief and continued listening, finally understanding what the redhead needed her help for.

"That sounds just like-" The hooded girl began, but immediately stopped upon realizing that she was about to casually reference a videogame in regards to one of her teammates' tragic story. "Um, I-I meant, that sounds... re-really serious." She stuttered slightly, blushing furiously at her awkward fumbling with words. The black-haired girl took a deep breath to calm herself down before continuing. "A-anyway... I'll help you, Cora. I mean, that's the kind of thing I joined this group for, anyway. I think." She said, not being entirely sincere as she had joined for the plasma TV privileges and free lodging, though she had since accepted and even become a little proud of her duty with New York and the world as Final Boss. "But... have you told any of the others about this? We're supposed to be a team aren't we? Is Katie coming with you?" She asked curiously.

Still looking around and trying to gather information from her surroundings, Black Nova eventually noticed the pink being that had landed not too far from where she stood. She stood by, analyzing him, her visor once again turning black with a red vertical line cycling through it, as if she was scanning Buu. In the end, the information she received was inconclusive, though she did see that he was a very powerful creature; unfortunately, she did not have any knowledge on the nature of Majins, as this was the first time she had ever seen one, and so, she was dangerously unarmed against him in terms of information.

Hearing Buu's answer to her question, which she hadn't expected to have answered in the first place, the Artisan Cyborg did yet another full sweep of the landscape with her visor, scanning the entire area and periodically looking back to Buu, eventually ascertaining that there was nothing but ruin around her. With that confirmed, Black Nova's visor went black though two red dashes with a red period inbetween them appeared on it, signifying the blonde woman's annoyance.

"Surely, you must be joking. Even a scatterbrained monkey would realize that a place like this could only lead to misery and boredom." The cyborg spoke with disdain, before seemingly frowning at Buu, her visor being wiped clean from all symbols. Behind her body, her bladed wings were charged with enough power to level a city and were all trained on the Majin. "Now begone. I have a score to settle." She stated, firing off two of her wings towards him as a warning shot of sorts.

Well, this is definitely off to a rough start. Obviously, being a machine, her first move was to scan me and everything around me, then send a few insults and finally attack. Alright, but if I'm fighting yet another robot, I need someone to assure me that this one doesn't go out by blowing itself up like the last one. What a waste of an absorption opportunity that was...

"Correct." I replied as the wings slammed into my chest, piercing through and getting stuck inside, with the ends sticking out, but with seemingly no affect on my ability to stand or talk. I wasn't even phased. "A scatterbrained monkey did realize that it would lead to misery and boredom, but it didn't help him any bit when fighting against me." The tentacle on my head elongated and grabbed onto the ends of the wings, pulling them out and throwing them back with double the force.

"Oh, and by the way - this may sound like an innuendo, but you look delicious. I think you would make a good bar of chocolate."

"Cool story, bro."

These were the first words I muttered out to alert the two hybrid Masaki brothers, Kazuko and Asumar, of my presence. As I spoke out that line, I was sitting on a large boulder a few dozen feet away, my tentacle sweeping around the ground and me gazing at them like a Saiyan would gaze at a bunch of weaklings. I've never thought of this before, but the Universe is full of arrogant pricks, and that heavily affects my personality. After all, I gain traits from every singly person I absorb, and in my time, I collected trillions.

Literal trillions.

"So, I know you two are always about one-upping someone, but this is just outright plagiarism. I mean, Praetoria is not that far away, Xander could be filing a lawsuit as we speak, and if there's one thing that got carried over from my universe to this one, it's the fact that you're leagues weaker than him. My name is Majin Buu, and I am here for your bodies."

I sat there, in that room for almost two hours as I tried to wrap my head around everything. The fight with that Blue Chick had really taken a toll on me, to the point that my left arm was paralysed without the use of cybernetics. Hence the smattering of wires and metal embedded into my inner wrist. I'd been out for three weeks, two days. A lot had happened in that time. The Merc vanished, and they didn't know exactly what happened to the Blue Babe. For the movement, things had gone well. Pressure from the UN and further attacks had meant that the movement were now in talks with the government. Either way, my assistance was no longer required. They gave me back my stuff, and even got me a little parting gift: a new suit. Dark grey rubbery material with blue accents and a few yellow stripes, made to help stop bullets and general nasty things. They even had the old hardpoint thing I had, though this time with lightweight kevlar. It was very similar to my old shitty wetsuit, but... Not shit. The biggest difference I found was my new helmet. Gone was my weird motorcycle helmet, and it's replacement was excellent. Something I could actually fight in.

After a quick medical check-up, I was good to leave. There weren't many people around, so it was strangely quiet as I left the complex. I was getting ready to set off when a short man in fatigues called out, sprinting up to me. He stopped, panting.

"What's up?"

He gasped in another breath and straightened up.

"The mercenary you fight, he left this." he handed me a set of dog tags.

"D-A-N-I-E-L-C-A-R-T-E-R" I muttered. "Maybe I can find this guy. Stop him before he hurts anybody else. He didn't seem like an overly bad guy. Maybe I can stop him from doing anything drastic. Thank you so much. And uh, good luck. I need to get home, but I swear if anything goes wrong here, you can count on me. Thanks."

With that, I took off.

ONE ACTION-FILLED WEEK LATER

Forty-Seventh time's the charm. That's how many different Daniel Carter's I'd been to. I was now at the home of one Rebbeca Carter. With any luck, she'd know the Daniel I was looking for. I pushed the doorbell, putting my hands into my pockets.

Lysia
Madworld, the refugee slums

Rain was pouring from the sky as if there was holding up an ocean above us and suddenly let it all go, thunder cracking down lighting up the surroundings like they were trying to fill in for the sun's light illuminating the night. Everyone was inside during weather like this, it was night to begin with so many were simply trying to sleep. And anyone else who wasn't was inside to hide from the storm, even the criminals couldn't be seen during nights like these. Which was the perfect moment to make a powerful strike at the heart of the criminal organization that was manipulating Sinkley. I've already made a name, that part isn't needed any longer, now it's time to simply cut off the head from this beast by any means necessary.

Part of me found it unfortunate I couldn't first wait for Sinkley to heal up, something like this would be a nice place for training, and I'd keep him out of harms way. It would allow me to see his raw abilities, where he was at right now in every aspect. He has a lot of potential, considering he has several tons of force and that was with 0 training who knows where his full potential lies, and I'm not going to stay here forever it would be nice to make sure I not only make a difference but manage to make sure the difference stays in effect for a long time. But that's all problems for the future, right now let's actually make the entire change happen. My next target is the one leading the worst of the worst in this area. I had already forced him to retreat from this place but he hasn't left completely yet and the moment he'd see a chance I'm sure he'd return completely.

Besides that rumors are this is a corrupt knight that is ruling that gang, 2 birds with one stone, I completely disassemble a criminal organization and expose a knight. And even if most of the knights are seemingly good people with good intentions, the people here don't like them so much to begin with so exposing one will weaken their influence in this area as a whole. Before you know it this community will be completely self sustaining, exactly how they like it. It took a bit of tracking but a building just outside the area seemed to be their main base, it seems like a legitimate factory but I've seen enough to know it's the base of operations of the gang I'm tracking.

And right now the factory was full as they were all staying out of the rain, time to take them all out, every single one of them. Through the torrential rain and thunder I simply walked to the factory entrance, there was no reason to be stealthy about it, nobody was looking outside, nobody would be expecting anyone to be outside. And besides that, sometimes you just prefer a hands on approach. Arriving at the door I created a shield and spear and simply kicked down the metal door in a single kick sending it flying through the room hitting several opponents before they even realized what was going on. And taking advantage of that shock I quickly threw my spear to an opponent at the far end skewering him and pinning his corpse against the wall wile slamming a nearby target with my shield hard enough to splinter his skull and send his corpse flying across the room.

At this point the rest in here began to react off course. They all pulled out guns and began opening fire, I ducked and held my shield in front of me, covering most of my body and deflecting most of the bullets. Some bullets managed to scrape my skin but no real damage yet. Considering how many there were of them they wouldn't run out of bullets fast so staying here wasn't going to do much good. Time to test out a new trick I've been working on. I take these jobs to get rid of temporal energy so I don't build up a critical mass and explode like before. But let's test out a controlled explosion. I began collecting energy I had build up so far, the more I was harvesting the more of a blue glow began surrounding me and soon my direct surroundings were already begin displaying symptoms. Bullets stopping in mid air, some reversing and other speeding up.

Once I felt like I had enough to affect the entire room I let it all go with a loud roar as I stood up and threw out all the energy I had. The entire room began warping through time in random directions. Some off my enemies began to age at such a speed they instantly grew old, died and rotted until even their bones showed signs of decomposing. Others began turning younger and younger until they simply ceased to exist. Others completely froze in time. And some had it worst off all where different parts of their bodies underwent a mixture off those 3 effects. The same thing happened to the machinery, walls, floor, everything inside this entry room. Some off the machines in this building began to look like they were made yesterday, still in mint condition wile others had rusted and wore down so much they looked as if they had been standing here unattended for, for centuries.

Carbon dating would probably even claim the same thing. Regardless that took care of the entire room, now to move on to other sections off the building. This is an evil lair so there has to be a basement, what evil lair does not have an evil underground lab after all. I ran through the building, which was on high alert at this point, taking down anyone who I ran in to along the way. Some died some simply got knocked out with some bad injuries, I didn't really care what happened to which. It took a good amount of fighting but I eventually reached a room which seemed to be a control center. It had video feeds from all over the building, including the place where I warped time. Seems some off the cameras survived my blast, probably were affected by the freezing effect or rejuvenation effect.

Looking on the cameras I noticed where the leader his room might be, but it looked empty, and I couldn't really find any place left on these cameras I didn't have everyone wiped out or still had people left in it. I guess those that I didn't run in to yet ran off. Considering that I walked towards the room that was clearly used by the knight I was after and once arriving there I noticed one of the closets was in a weird position. I walked over and pulled it away from the wall revealing a giant metal door which I brook down with ease. Secret tunnel, no secret lab though just a tunnel, looks like an escape tunnel so the bastard probably ran off as his men got slaughtered. Oh well, him running away is also a good thing, my name will spread through the underworld now that someone like him is on the run from me.

Let him run, as long as he doesn't come back to my area I don't care all that much. That said, let's make sure he has no reason to come back here. I created a two-handed flail with carrying a weight of several tons and began hitting everything in the room with it at full force, destroying everything, even the walls and floor in case a safe was hidden somewhere in here. I even used it to cave in the secret runnel he had. Wherever he ran off to, he shouldn't have any reason, or will, left to come back here. Another successful mission, plus I expended a good amount of temporal energy here so win win for me. Time to leave this place and check for future targets.

He hated to admit it, but he was too weak. Even after ascending, Buu more then dwarfed his power. And he was the strongest in his universe! If he was going to get stronger, he had to train. 'Thank you, Bulma' he muttered, then grabbed a small capsule out of his pocket and threw it at the ground. 'I've never actually had to use this for a few months, but Buu is a serious threat. Maybe I should hit the time chamber after this.' Nakasan walked inside the state of the art room. Inside was a full set of buttons, with a fully stocked kitchen. 'Gravity- 100x Planet Vegeta, training simulator X' Around 50 robots appeared, firing energy blasts. He dodged, faster and faster, before finally firing a energy blast, destroying the robots with sheer power.

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:Nelli nodded at Kylie, feeling that, despite having been given a lengthy explanation, she hadn't actually learned anything about the red knight beyond the fact that he wore red armor, which was rather intuitive.

"You don't look very comfortable.

Kylie was about to yell at Jump Man for his showboating, when Nelli dove through the portal... into Kylie's chest. "Oof!" She exclaimed, tumbling back from the force. Nelli's knife went flying as she went face-first into Kylie's bosom. She heard Nelli's attempt at a thank you, then the actual voicing of the thank you, and chuckled slightly. "No problem, yeah, I don't think it would have worked the other way. Do you think you could... get off me?"

If Nelli were to notice, she was now sitting atop Kylie as she lay on her back, in the grass. Kind of hard to get up without throwing her off, so Kylie waited until she moved before standing up. Then she turned her attention back to Rip, as the other time travelers came through the portal. "What is your problem? And who made you leader? I'm the one who got us sent here, and I have the way back!" Quickly, Kylie checked that the coin was still in her suit's pocket. Thankfully, it was, and she continued to berate him. "I pulled you through so you wouldn't get us killed. We may be superheroes, but we don't need to mess up history. The butterfly effect and all that, you know?"

Nelli spoke up, something about being able to cut into the castle. "You want to... cut the walls?" Kylie stared at her blankly. "Uh, yeah. Go for it." Kylie watched and waited as Nelli "worked her magic" in the stone walls of Castle Camelot. Simultaneously, she was thinking about how much she regretted this at the moment. I probably could've done it alone. Jump Man over here might be more of a problem than he's worth...

Adrian went flying through the air.
The blow didn't break anything, his body took it. The force did, however, launch him far away from the area. He yelled as he flew, audible until he was sufficiently out of range.
For some reason he was having trouble catching himself, and the arms faded. His form went into a less rage'd form, but it didn't cease. Maybe he was stuck like that?

His clothes, excluding his pants, were fucked to all hell. His skin was a strange black/orange and his arms were more so, even glowing. His pupils had apparently faded at one point. His hair was still a cool looking brown though, we can't copy Asura too hard.
Though in this form he realized something...he couldn't just float or fly or anything.

He started screaming, stopping half way close to the ground as he realized the fall wouldn't do much.
where he landed though was on a strange large capsul, denting the top of it with his body as he let out a loud "UGH!"

Xander hit the Elder in it's gut and was about to follow it up with an uppercut, when he felt his entire body go numb and then fall over limp. Despite that, he was clearly the angriest limp man to ever exist. "Human... Please listen. We had no intentions of you remembering any of this. I have shut down the motor control functions of your brain. If you would just let me erase those memories, we can both be on our way." He was trying to do that regardless, but Xander's rage was keeping him from digging any deeper. And that didn't stop Xander from blasting the Elder, point blank with a powerful pair of beams from his eyes, straight into the chest of the Elder. The shock caused the Elder to release his control of Xander's mind. Elder bounded across the surface of the red planet and looked as the rather nasty wound on his chest. And then as it rapidly healed. "Even better than we imagined..."

"Do you have any idea what you took from me?! Everything was perfect!" Xander hissed. "Everything was peaceful! We were going to have children!" Nevermind how biologically impossible that was. "Those idiots were finally dead! The world was united!" Life was good. "I had control over my powers! Everyone was safe and happy! And now it's ALL GONE! How dare you take my body?! After what you bastards did, you don't!" Xander wound up a punch, but then fell to the ground again. The other Elders having caught up and their combined might was more than enough to restrain the raving human.

"Enough. Human. We've read your mind. Where you in the same position, you would have done the same thing. With or without consent. This is not about whether or not we were kind in our approach. We asked you. You denied us. We are not letting our kind die because of one stubborn man. We made a very generous offer." He explained. "We have what we came for. If you refuse to let us finish our task, then so be it. We never had any intention to harm you. The memories you experienced would have been forgotten and you would have moved on with your life without ever knowing the truth." They released their hold on the man and flew into the air. "There is no malice here. We are simply doing what we must to survive. You would do the same thing in our position. Xander wasn't moving. Just lying there. They saw no more reason to stay and took their leave.

They didn't have anything against him. Survival was what they were trying to do. Xander was hurt. His regeneration wasn't going to be able to fix a wound like this. After a few minutes, he flew back to Earth and sat on top of a skyscraper, finally giving into his emotions and crying. For the first time in his life, He was actually crying.

His hand rested on the gun at his waist, and he shook his head and muttered whimsically. "Time travel and magic. Just another regular day for a Gotham cop, huh?" He chuckled to himself.

Salis waited for everyone to go through the portal before following himself, keeping an eye on the mob that now surrounded him. Lucky for them the group moved quickly and he managed to jump through and close the portal behind him before any of them forced him to kill them. When he came through he was greeted with an unusual sight, the butterfly girl straddling their Green Lantern friend. Sails raised an eyebrow before turning away as he shook his his head in confusion. He could already tell it would be a long day. Meanwhile pretty boy was continuing to be a self absorbed asshole, to which he decided to start ignoring. Maybe if he moved quickly enough the man would be too busy checking himself out to follow and they'd lose him. It was then that he heard the familiar looking man say that he was a cop from Gotham. His face twitched into an expression of recognition for a second before returning to normal.

That's it then, he thought, he must have been there during the Gotham incident. Definitely not a friendly. Things would have to be handled carefully if he didn't want to reveal who he was. Hopefully the man's forgetfulness would hold.

Turning his attention back to the frisky pair of girls, Salis heard Nelli's suggestion of cutting the wall. He wasn't sure how she planned on doing it, and he didn't see why the had to. "Just use another portal," he said bluntly as he opened a new one that went through the wall. "And try not to get us attacked this time," he called out to Jump Man over his shoulder as he moved through the new opening to the courtyard within. A quick survey of his surroundings revealed a rather luxurious are in side. The cobble was smooth and well kept, a small fountain decorating near the center along with other decor. Everything was well kept, easy on the eyes, and practical for use. His observations were cut short though when an armed guard drew a sword when he noticed the strange individuals now inhabiting area.

"Halt! Who goes there?" called out the man as he moved up to the group with his sword out and at the ready. Salis scanned him over and noticed the confident air that the man held his sword in. Obviously not a novice to fighting, though he doubted the man was anywhere near his equal.

"Let us through," replied Salis, unfazed by the blade that now was being pointed at him. The guard raised an eyebrow at this, confused on his behavior.

"I cannot allow strangers to pass through Castle Camelot. Now state your name and purpose before I'm forced to-" He was quickly cut off as Salis moved forwards at an unnerving speed, grabbing him by the forearm and ramming his elbow into the man's gut. As he keeled over, Salis' hand moved to join it's partner at the guards forearm before slamming it down on his knee, breaking it with a loud crack. The man cried out as his sword fell from his hand. Salis quickly caught the weapon by it's hilt before reversing the blade and plunging it into the man's chest, sheathing it up to the hilt. A silent scream seemed to escape the man's lips as the light left his eyes, death settling on him within seconds.

"Let's move before more men show up," he said as he removed the sword and started cleaning the blade on the dead man's sleeve, "Someone will have heard that and I'm not in the mood for mass killings."
