Daxam's native son cleared his mind and focused on his goals with stunning accuracy and brutal effectiveness when he trained - Mir not the type of person to hold himself back or be weak. Though, it was for more for himself than for others, as the only real person Mir had to surpass in his own mind was himself. Even with his exceptional physiology, he could only get stronger, even more so than a regular Daxamite or Kryptonian under a yellow sun. Mir prided himself on being above and beyond for his own sake rather than the admiration and flattery of others, but attention never hurt.

The tremendous gravitational strain would make a normal person slam their face to the floor and cry to cut the machine off, but to those with supernatural condition, it was like taking a trip into a normal person's physique. Despite that, his endurance and power was incredible to behold as he clutched two sides of an adamantium-laced pull-up bar and heaved himself up and partially over it in a wide grip - every muscle on his arms and back on full display while his casual gym shorts seemed a bit strange compared to his normal wear, but hey, whatever worked.

He didn't break motion or concentration as Ashy walked in, his mind set in stone on his training, but the sweet rhythm and melody in her voice was like nectar to Mir's ears, shattering his steadfast attention. With a smile, he continued on, answering her as he went. "I don't count. I go until I can't anymore." He said quietly, a soft grunt escaping his throat as he pulled himself up once more, down, and then again in a slow, steady, controlled form of precision. Signs of weakness were taking hold, though, his muscles quaked and his movements became slow, and Mir's repetitions became fewer and fewer until, finally, he pulled himself upward, but could no go no further.

He dropped down from the bar and breathed heavily, sweat coating his muscular form and sticking to it like a thin sheet, highlighting every toned and sculpted curve on his body. He grabbed a near-by towel and started at his face to wipe off the sweat, slowly working his way down his chest, finally back towards his visitor - who he found suspiciously close...and more suspiciously, nude. "I - uh..." He stammered, quickly glowing red, "I'm sorry!" He shouted, turning back around as if he committed some taboo by seeing a beautiful, naked woman in the flesh.

"Th-there's an extra pair of women's workout clothes...Other there..." He said, motioning to a series of lockers without name or number. "They're clean..." He said, fumbling with his words as his face grew even redder.

Ash, rather than be offended that Mir had seen her naked form as he expected, merely laughed. "Oh your reaction is even better than Max's... You need not feel so embarased." She circled around him, a smile on her face as she saw him blush. "It's been so long since I last had a body, I thought I would show it off." She smiled as she invaded his space ever so slightly, just enough that it wasn't uncomofrtable. "Honestly it's rather cute. Sex is such a taboo to you younger species, an aspect of yourselves you revel in yet find uncomfortable. Fascinating. Simply fascinating." She spoke. She walked over to the locker.

Ash accidentally pulled the door offers hinges, internally cursing. She would have to get used to this strength. She grabbed the clothes and put them on. "Us on the other hand. We embraced it. We had all sorts of fun." She then paused. "Of course not all of us approved of our hedonism. And in hindsight we did take it rather far... But, with bodies like these... How could you not become at least partially a slave to your own sensations, your libido, it's all so... Overwhelming.

She then came back to Mir, smiling at him. "I may sound a bit condesending, though do please forgive me for that. I realise it may be a little annoying for me to fault our advances..."

Garnet grunted as she ducked and rolled under the vicious charge of one of the winged, halberd-wielding demons, taking her opportunity to pump his back full of Misery's teeth, causing him to fall to the ground, fading away in red lines as his body was seemingly deconstructed in thin air. The arcane pistol had succeeded in bringing down that foe, but even so, Garnet tucked it away for the time being. She doubted it would be that useful in the upcoming battle if she had to spend and entire clip on a single enemy, as even if Misery reloaded itself when given time, using the pistol to fight would be too slow in getting rid of her enemies. Thus, the blonde woman decided she would rely on Agony and her crystalline sword instead.

"They're resistant to my bullets, for one." She said in response to Masami's query as she watched Shadow reappear in front of a nearby demon and kick it into a wall, charging away afterwards and trampling several others before disappearing once more, all of it happening too quickly for the demons to be able to take action against the Phantom Horse. Seeing it fight like this, Garnet was quite glad she had taken a trip to the Far Fields.

Meanwhile, the wave of fox fire that Masami released was enough to destroy the demon in front of her, as well as a couple more behind him, though the others who were reached by it were not affected very strongly.

"It looks like we can overpower them. Just be careful of their weapons and aim for the gaps in their armor." Garnet stated, quickly slashing through the waist of an approaching sword-wielding demon to demonstrate, neatly slashing him in two, before noticing a winged one approaching her from behind. Swiftly summoning Agony, she turned around and sent forth her fist, which collided against the metal of the demon's armor with a burst of red light. Shortly afterwards, shattered pieces of armor fell to the ground with loud clanks, and the fire that lurked within dissipated in the air.

"...Or make new ones." The blonde woman reasoned, before returning to the battle, fighting along Masami and Shadow. They were thinning down the enemy's numbers, and no more seemed to be appearing, so the battle would be over soon.

Gilbert listened quietly as Verse explained the situation to him, telling him about the theft of Chorus' voice, his murder of the only lead towards the shadowy organization that took it, and the fact that his soul was apparently five times over just a few moments ago, all of this explained by a talking sword.

After listening, he raised a hand with a finger outstretched, as if he had an idea and was about to speak, but instead of that, he paused and lowered it.

He then raised it again, only to drop it once more.

Eventually, he held up a finger, now gesturing for Chorus and company to wait, and sat down on the ground for a moment, fists balled up and under his chin, giving the impression that he was meditating as he sat, mulling over what had just been said to him.

Finally, he stood up again.

"Alright, alright, so, I'm very sorry for attacking you, and messing with your lead. I'll help out to make up for it." He said. Then, holding out a hand towards where the half-disintegrated corpse of Tobias was, Gilbert focused, exerting his power over time and rewinding the damage caused to the old man, bringing him back to life, though apparently his memories remained, since he stared at Gilbert in disbelief and terror after awakening from his deathly slumber. Glaring at Tobias for a moment, Gilbert turned to Chorus. "He's all yours." He nodded.

Well, in all honesty I'm not entirely pleased with how this turned out, especially since I could be the one out there shaking hands with Chorus instead of being stuck in her sword's brain, but hey, there's not much any of us can do about it now is there? I'm not going to spend the rest of my time in this place moping about it. There must be a better way to use my time, and you lot would likely get tired of it quickly anyways.

By the time Craig had reached the reception in his elevator, Etla had placed the donuts on the counter and put both bracelets on her arms in order to carry them more comfortably. So when the man arrived, the blonde girl threw her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug which made it very fortunate that she was not using any of her Cores at the moment. "Craig~!" She shouted back in delight, before releasing the embrace and pulling back, merely smiling as she listened to the human speak.

Now, the Rainborn was understandably confused when Craig told her that she shouldn't have brought donuts, only to subsequently pick one up and eat it. Etla was utterly puzzled after being witness to this string of actions. Why did he say that she shouldn't have brought them? Was it because he didn't like them anymore? Had his tastes changed so quickly? It hadn't been that long since they'd last been together and he seemed to like donuts well enough back then, so that was probably not it. What, then? Did it have anything to do with how Helen said that people who ate too much got chubby? She doubted it was that. She quickly looked Craig up and down and he didn't look bad to her, not at all, his clothes were not entirely to her tastes but barring that he looked pretty good. Then again, perhaps he didn't think so. She would have to convince him of it later, then. But either way, if that was the case, why did he pick up the donut? Was he truly that weak-willed? Unlikely, as she had witnessed him work tirelessly in the Asgardian forges. Was it some sort of human courtesy, then? That was the most likely answer, but it still left the Rainborn unsatisfied, and she frowned slightly at the comment.

The rest of what Craig said, she didn't completely understand. She could grasp the concept of a shield generator just fine, as her technological nature had the useful side effect of making her somewhat versed in things of technological nature, and she could understand the scope of the shield quite well, too. But all the talk about wars, about bombings, that was not something she was familiar with. Regardless, she kept on smiling. She may not understand entirely, but from what she had seen of humans, this shield was something quite advanced, and Craig appeared very enthusiastic about his project, so it would be very rude not to acknowledge his accomplishment, especially considering she was his friend.

"That's great, Craig." She said, still beaming, before noticing him pointing at the bracelets. Her smile quickly turned to a grin.

"Oh, these? They're entry passes to a fun place I found a bit ago. I got one for you too!" She said excitedly, taking off one of the bracelets and handing it to him. "It's not too far off from here. I was hoping you'd come with me." She stated, smiling up at him as she clasped his hand with both of hers.

Masami
Masami nodded. It seems even Garnet was not sure about the foe they faced. A lack of information could often lead to death, however Masami decided not to let that bother her as she noticed another of the demons coming towards her. She decided to test one of her techniques, learned years ago yet she had not been able to master it until the two tail form provided her with the brain space and understanding required. She mused on how wonderful she felt at her new full power as she flash stepped behind a demon and plunged her blade into its back.

Picking up tempo, she roasted two more while she received her blade and suddenly ran on the walls to jump onto another, whom she killed by stabbing into the brain through its eye. The blade was left in as she manifested another, using it to skillfully decapitated another charging demon.

"They seem without fear and are perfectly willing to die in battle. Commendable." She commented as she roasted a few that got too close. "But their tactics are... Questionable."

Probably not worth the calories... Although I'm not sure if Martians can get fat. "But yeah. I really should have tried to do this ages ago... I mean shouldn't superhero types like me be trying to search for more peaceful solutions rather than just bashing heads in? It comes off a tad hypocritical when our first response is to punch people when were trying to promote peace after all..."

"You're a shapeshifter. I don't think it matters too much. Given the inherent martian abilities, I would assume your people would have a much higher metabolic rate than humans so you should be fine." He said taking a stick of the butter and eating it. "It's amazing... If I had a heart, I'd be dead. Some people just can't be talked down. I happened to be one who could. Humans do what they do because they're afraid and they need what they're going after. In most cases at least, there are some who are just insane. When I was inside Alex's brain, he and Naja had this plan to give the entirety of humanity, the same powers he has. In his mind, it'll eliminate the need for the average humans things like food and whatnot. Therefor ending many of the world's problems. But I personally think he's a bit naive."

Julie paused, then paid for both their bitter and grabbed one. She ate it, "Hmm buttery..." She muttered, then turned back to Nightmare "True. Very true actually. Some people just want to watch the world burn it seems." She remarked. "Though it is practically insane to try that with so many superheroes..." She then shrugged when she heard Alexs plan. "It probably is. I mean what about us alien folk? What's to stop some crazy human vaporising our planet just because he can?" She remarked. Then paused.

"Hey... Before we leave this place... I kinda want to show you something." She spoke, smiling as she saw the sunset. Perfect timing. They had been here for a while so after she showed him this she might have to move onto the next stop in their tour... Mount Everest maybe? She looked towards a hill in the distance with a nice ciff outcropping which allowed a view of most of the countryside. "Want to do anything else in particular?"

"I think his reasoning is he's trying to eliminate fear. Superman is an alien. He's pretty damn powerful. People love him. Even though he's on the good side, people are scared that one day he'll snap. It's why Goldilocks and I were made. He wants to take away their fear of the unknown. On the surface, it seems like a good thing to do. Unite the humans like literally every other race in the universe. Take away any need and want for material things and hope that solves things. And, as always, there are people who are completely crazy and will kill people for the sole purpose of because it's fun or they're just crazy. Speaking from experience. I see it working out in one of two ways. It either works and humans become an advanced society of whatever Blondie is supposed to be. The epitome of Superhumans I suppose. World peace is achieved and humans make their way into the stars. Or the more likely scenario that a lot of people die."

"Not sure... Waxing philosophical with friends is fun. Contemplating the hypocrisies of humanity while watching the sun go down. Just like Tarantino. Only things we're missing is some mean words and someone spilling an unusual amount of blood. Did I mention he's my favorite director?"

"I think that your right. It could end up going either way..." Julie replied. "While the idea of putting every human on the same level is admirable, it may create problems... Especially as I imagine Alex's power could be quite hard to control..." She shrugged. "Either way it would change a lot."

"It is. Though were all hypocrites in some way or another. Julie remarked, then smiled. She began to gently guide the two of them to the hill. "Friends. So you consider me a friend now?" She giggled slightly. "A week ago I thought you were evil and you likely thought of me as nothing more than an insect." She remarked. Then continued to smile as he related his famous director. "That actually doesn't surprise me one bit." She then had a thoughtful look on her face. "My favourite would have to be... Spielberg."

Mir found himself suddenly comfortable, and smiling at Ash. "Don't worry about it, Ashy." He said casually, "It doesn't help that I'm from Daxam, whose xenophobia and misogynist courting practices were off the charts." He scanned Ashy over with wide, expectant, and longing eyes as the tight fitting exercise wear clung to every curve of her body like second skin. He shook his head, trying to dispel his primal thoughts. "So, uh, tell me about how it feels in this new body." He smiled, remembering how he came to Madworld. "You know, I was reborn once, too. Not to take away what you're feeling!" He said quickly, blushing slightly.

"Just trying to find some more common ground, I guess."

At that moment, the double doors of the gym flew open and almost off of their hinges as a a powerful, angry force rushed into the room. It was Val, whose eyes were held tightly shut with a scowl on her face, her mouth muttering some incoherent strings of curses and insults as her head bobbed up and down to mimic the motion of talking. She opened her eyes and had them glued to the floor, walking briskly into the workout area and grabbing a pair of training gloves. She hadn't noticed Mir or Ashy there, but the Daxamite turned his head to look at the enraged mistress of Max, looking back at Ashy to see her reaction.

Val began to pummel a dense, weighted bag designed to tank earth-busting blows, her grunts and heaves striking the bag with precision and skill. "Stupid...ugly...bitch..." She muttered, slamming her fists into the bag, adding in a few kicks to the equation and just bleeding off all of her issues into training for a little while. Mir had a look of concern, so he walked over to Val and motioned for Ashy to follow. Standing a sizable distance behind her, he let out a short, audible cough to get her attention.

"Ah, hey, Val," He said quietly, "Something bothering you?"

She whipped around with a dirty look on her face, preparing to properly inform Mir, but her eyes instantly went to Ashy. With toxin and venom, she asked, "What is she doing here?"

Siliarba wrote:-Balance

Max agreed, he had misunderstood her initial intentions. However, none of that mattered as the Goddess of Balance herself dropped to the ground with blood spilling her eyes before him. He rushed over to her, ignoring the vibrant energies of her cosmic items. He realized that she was right - too many things happen here on Madworld, but his first concern was helping Balance. Lifting her head up gently, asking quickly, "Balance, are you there? Listen to me - I'll help you, don't worry." He said over her unconscious form, scooping the Goddess up in his arms and rushing back to his palace.

"Get the medical team, prep for diagnostic." He ordered to a passing servant, who then ran to get help. "Someone find Otto, he knows more about Gods than I do." For a moment, Max found a long, soft chair to place Balance on as he watched over her, wondering what event could have happened to set off enough power to knock the Goddess out cold. He waved his hand over her forehead, channeling his own divine energy into hers - feeling if the wounds were physical, but found them to be something else entirely. Something even he couldn't understand. "...What did I do?" Max said to himself, wondering what Balance meant by that before collapsing.

A voice caressed the nape of his neck, sending him chills instantly. "You haven't done anything yet, but you will soon enough."

Max whipped around and formed a fist, not recognizing the voice at all, unknowing if it was friend or foe. He saw a middle-aged, yet finely built man leaning against the wall opposite of Max and Balance. He snapped back, but was quiet about it, "Who the hell are you?" He demanded, the old man smirking with a smug face. This only served to piss Max off even more, growing more irate, he repeated himself. "Well, who are you? What are doing in my palace?"

Continuing with the smile, the old man politely answered, "I'm just the man you need to see right now. I am Fatherstar, and I represent the Star Clan."

"Star Clan?" Max repeated in a mocking tone.

"Yes, Morningstar." Fatherstar said, his implication very apparent, "The only reason you're seeing me now is because our prophecy is becoming reality. We much to tell you in so little time, but what must be said will decide the fate of the universe and all of existence." He said calmly, sharply, with full purpose and honesty. Max had no reason to distrust him yet, and perhaps he was related to what happened to Balance. "I know what you're thinking - And yes, it does have something to do with the Goddess of Balance. I don't read minds, but I can see it on your face."

Max looked at Balance for a moment and back to Fatherstar. "Fine. Tell me what I need to know."

"Oh, you see, I can't do it here. I have the rest of the Star Clan to inform as well."

Maxwell sighed, "Ugh, alright. Let me make sure Balance is getting the proper help, and we'll be off." He said, a team of medical professionals racing down the corridor just as he spoke.

"It feels good. I've spent years upon years stuck in a metal shell of a body. No feeling or sensation, just numb emptiness..." She remarked. "It's like I'm seeing everything for the first time again. Better than I did before. It's wonderous. A little overwhelming and this power is hard to control, but it is well worth it." She smiled. Then ash heard he was reborn too. "Really?! You must tell me more about it."

Then she saw Val coming in and sighed. Ash remembered what happened earlier on. She followed Mir, and heard that the anger was worse than she could have thought. She didn't need to even try to read her mind to feel her rage.

She then frowned. Sure she had been a little inappropriate but she didn't deserve this sort of flak. "What did I do?" She asked, shrugging. "It's not like I fucked him." She said quite bluntly. "Look. I know a naked woman being around your boyfriend looks bad, but I mostly did that for shits and giggles. I have no interest in seducing your boyfriend." She folded her arms, upset.

"I see his issue though. He's spent so much time in space and saw that all of the other people have their big boy pants on and they all have the same opinion of humans. They could be great if they would just get their shit together. Plus he wants to help people in a way that's more than just hitting the monsters that pop up. I can't blame the poor guy. He can't read mind to develop social skills. And he doesn't watch television. What a freak, right? Who doesn't watch TV?" He joked. "It would change things. It could work if he got a team of psychics to help him out. Maybe."

"You're not wrong. But our mistakes show that we're not perfect. I've made plenty. And I'm going to make more. Though this time I'll have someone to help me. Of course we're friends. We ate fried butter on a stick together. Evil is a relative term I've found. Sure there are people who are completely psychotic. Like that clown who lives in Gotham. I'm pretty sure Blondie would never gas him up. Unless he really is crazy. He's not bad. A nice balanced story everyone can enjoy. Michael Bay needs to learn that explosions are not a story telling medium. Truth be told, I'm not really sure what side I'm on for Blondie's plot. On one hand, he's just doing his job. Protecting the Earth. On the other. People are crazy."

"True. He could really use some TV." She remarked. She led nightmare up the hill, picking up the pace slightly. "Plus I can understand that desire. I too wish I could do more to help people other than beating villains senseless." She remarked. "And yeah. He's going to need help if he's going to make this work. Luckily he's the type that would accept it..."

Julie smiled as they reached the top. "That's sweet... I'd be glad to help you. In fact that's part of why we're doing this whole tour the Galaxy thing." She remarked. "And I consider you a friend too." She remarked, creating a bench for them to sit on. "Sorry if we took a little detour. I just always love spots like this. Especially at this time of day." She turned to see the sun still setting. "But like you said, people are crazy..." She remarked. "Isn't it beautiful?" She asked. She took nightmares hand in her own.

She couldn't lie to Katie, and she'd fond out that she was anyway, but she was embarrassed that she hadn't done what she had promised to do for the team. "I didn't go back yet." She said softly, averting her eyes from Katie a bit. "I know I said I would but... I was scared to. I'm afraid of the memories." Cora said honestly. She was on the verge of tears, she felt like a child, being scared of memories.

Katie frowbed with concern. She took Cora by the hands. "It's okay Cora. I understand." She spoke. If she was being purely professional she should have scolded her for not bringing the assets she promised. But that would be the wrong thing to do for a friend. "But... I mean you can't be afraid forever." She replied "you'll need to face your fears at some point." She said as she smiled. "How about... If your having trouble going there on your own... Would you want me to come with you?"

She nodded slowly when Katie said she had to face her fears. Cora thought that was easier said than done but she knew Katie was right. If she kept letting her past control her she'd never be able to move on. Cora was very surprised at Katie's last words. She raised her head up to look at her, a few tears had welled around her eyes. She was so relieved that she wouldn't even have to ask, Katie had done it for her. "You'd do that for me?" She asked softly. Before Katie could even answer Cora was hugging her friend, "Thank you so much Katie, you're the best friend ever." Cora said sincerely as she held the other girl in her arms.

Katie suddenly felt bad as she saw Coras tears. She didn't like seeing Cora upset, as she realised for a while now. The poor android had been treated so badly that Katie couldn't help be feel bad for her. She felt guilty about the face your fears bit, wondering if it would be that easy for her were she in Coras shoes. Probably not. Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by a hug, at which she smiled. "Of course I would! That's what friends are for after all. I wouldn't say soenthing like 'face your fears' only to abandon you to face them alone. I'd be a horrible friend and teammate if I did that to you."

Cora held on to Katie a little while longer, gradually calming down thanks to Katoe's presence and her words. She eventually separated from Katie, and decided she should finally get over with what she had been dreading for weeks. With Katie at her side though, Cora felt a little less scared. "I hope I can return the favor one day Katie. I really appreciate all you've done for me. I suppose we should get it over with. You want to travel inside me?" She blushed a little at the awkward phrasing, "I mean the electricity thing you do." She added, embarrassed.

"Yeah! Sure. I mean I'm not sure where the building is so your going to have to guide me." She faked apathy, but in reality she always liked the little fusion thing they could do. It was pretty awesome as power boosts go as it increased both their powers. Plus if Katie was feeling lazy she could always hop into Cora. She wasn't sure how much the other members of the group like her doing that, so most of the time she used it with Cora.

Not only was it great tactically, Cora secretly enjoyed that special connection that she held with Katie. Cora nodded, "Alright let's go." She as she waited for Cora to turn into electricity and enter her body. Once she was inside Cora fly out of the window and then picked up speed as she entered the open air heading for West City. She was silent for a little while until she finally spoke so Katie could hear her. 'Katie, things might get rough in there. I don't know how I'll react. I hope you understand. The things... the things they did to me..." her voice trailed off and she was silent for a few moments before speaking up again, "Well, you'll see." She said before going silent again and speeding up a bit.

Katie, within Cora, could not frown. But she would have had she been able. She fed off Coras energy, not nrarly enough to effect her, but she was getting a lot of energy within her. Gathering it and storing it. "I... I'll try my best to help. It sounds horrible... The things they did to you must have been really quite... Bad." She paused. "I guess I will see then..."

Turmenista wrote:"End of the line, Super 13!
Myosai's full power Vaporizer Cannon awaits you!
"

"Well, ain't this sweet?" Super 13 said, licking the blood off of his lips. "Hey, Pinkie. We both seem to have the same power levels, around a couple billion, it seems.” The android chuckled. “I guess we’re in a little stalemate, hmm, Pink Girl?” The Android folded his arms, chuckling as he relaxed. He seemed much less damaged than Myosai did, but both of the fighters seemed worn out. “Huh? You still pissed at me?” He asked, grinning. “No matter how angrier you get, it won’t change the fact that I’ll still be stronger!"

“You cannot be serious.” Magnus said, his voice sounding much more mature and serious than usual. “You dumb ass motherfucker!” He suddenly called up at Super 13. “You do realize she gets more powerful the angrier she gets?! Just look at how pissed off she looked! You dug your own grave, stupid robot!”

It was true. Myosai’s power had leaped tremendously after 13’s rude threat. Though the two were flying above the buildings, the intense power let off by the Majn was enough to send even the largest of the worn down, abandoned buildings, to the floor.

Through the following dust cloud, Myosai could be seen rushing fourth suddenly like a bull, sending her fist right into Android 13’s chest. Blood and saliva flew from the Android’s mouth as a bulge appeared on his back from the force of the blow. It all seemed kind of funny to Magnus, Myosai effortlessly beating the hell out of the much larger Super Android 13.

“Go, Myosai!” Odysseus yelled. “Kick that Blanka-looking motherfucker’s ass!”

Myosai sent her leg up in the air, launching the pitiful Android into the sky. After soaring up to meet him, Myosai sent one of her fists out, being met with the android’s Gigantic fist. She used instant transmission, sending herself behind the Android, where she proceeded to grab his brightly-colored hair by the ends. Like a child, Myosai yanked the Android’s head back, and, despite his pleadings to stop and expletive-throwing, spun around at least ten times.

Even this was getting hard to watch for Magnus.

Myosai lobbed the Android not at a nearby building, but out into the open sands, where she then lobbed a small, but explosive ki sphere right into his chest. The resulting explosion sent hurricane-force winds through the desert, while the sand brushed around the buildings at very high speeds.

And she wasn’t done yet. Super 13 had survived this combo, barely. He crawled out of the sandy pit, wounded and damaged. A small fire from the ki blast was on his shoulder. “God damn Pinkie!” He cursed. “When I get my hands on you-“

Myosai cupped her hands above her head, combining two small ki spheres to form a much larger, more powerful one. Placing her hands in front of her body, she prepared for her Ultimate Attack: the Vaporizer Cannon.

“End of the line, bub!” She called, bringing a lava tear to Magnus’s eye. “Atta girl, she used my line! I’m so proud of her..”

Magnus quickly shushed Magnus. “We’ve got to get out of here. In a couple of seconds this city is going to be rubble!”

Magnus quickly raised himself, Tina, and Odysseus up onto a gigantic floating Rock, which they could safely view the battle from. “Popcorn? This is gonna be good.”

The Majin’s energy spiked once more, this time, MASSIVELY. Her energy reserves were broken and quickly refilled, as she began ascending to her next, final level. She had unlocked 10/10 of her hidden potential. A white light surrounded her whole body as she began rapidly changing.

By now, Myosai would have been a tad bit smaller than Odysseus. Much more wiser and much more mature-looking, she had a stern look on her face as the sphere became larger, and larger. Odysseus could not help but note out that, when she was angry, she looked cute. “She’s not cute anymore.” Magnus said, like a father. “You wouldn’t call a lady on a date cute, would you? You’d call her beautiful. But, you get the point- get back to the fight!”

Myosai held the ball in front of her with on hand, ready to obliterate the everlasting SHIT out of Android 13. The Super Android cupped his hands in front of himself in preparation, for he knew by the size of this attack, it’d be foolish to dodge it.

He only saw a white flash in the distance, before a pure white beam of ki energy flew from the abandoned City. Curving upwards once it hit the ground, it scored a direct hit on the Android, trapping him inside the sphere of Energy that the beam created once it reached a far enough distance into the sky.

As the sphere kept slowly ascending into the sky, Myosai quickly unsheathed her Ki-powered dimensional sword, slashing at nothing, but overall in the sphere’s direction. This caused a crescent moon-shaped blast of ki to fly off into the trap ball, causing it to detonate. More hurricane-force winds were sent through the desert, kicking up dust clouds rivaling the size of the tallest buildings in the abandoned city. The explosion itself was bright, very bright, and white, almost a blinding white. Once the whining and the bright light disappeared, there remained a massive crater the size of a large town in that section of the desert.

Super 17’s Theme

Even those who halfway across the Arabian Peninsula could see this blast. Those in Dubai saw it firsthand, being a couple miles away from the abandoned city, but were relatively unaffected it..

Myosai panted, lowering her arms and calming down. “I dealt with the Android.” She panted, lowering herself onto a nearby building close to the floating rock. “Hi guys.”

“You don’t use third person anymore.” Odysseus noticed. Myosai nodded slowly. “Give her rest, that move required a lot of energy.” Magnus spoke as well.

Suddenly, clapping was heard behind the four. Behind Magnus, the rock and Rollers could see a Myosai-sized, black haired man lower himself to their level, Clapping. Magnus could not sense his power level either, nor could Myosai, so they immediately assumed that he was an Android as well. “Very well done.” The Android, 17, calmly said, straightening his jacket. “You managed to destroy 13 thanks to your immense anger and brute force.” He grinned, chuckling. “But, it won’t be enough to defeat us once we fuse.” Another, Identical voice came from behind them.

Seemingly a clone of the man in the jacket, without the jacket, the other Android, Hell Fighter 17, lowered himself down to their level as well. On the ground, the charred remains of Agent Hades could be seen moving, cackling at them. “You fools!” It telepathically spoke to them all. "When these two androids merge, they shall become the most perfect being ever created! Each incomplete part of one shall fill in the incomplete part of the other! His machine parts will become organic, essentially making him a Cyborg… It will mutate.. to become more efficient! Behold: Super Android 17!”

A M32 Grenade Launcher Materialized in Odysseus’s hands. He aimed it down at Hades, firing off a single grenade, and killing off the charred hellish super soldier for good. “Shouldnt you be dead? You’re in little pieces.”

“We are but one, split in two.” One of the androids said. “But that’s about to change.” The other said.

“What are they planning..” Magnus said, clenching his fists.

A bright, gold outlining light surrounded the two androids, as they slowly hovered into each other. This produced a bright light, not allowing them to see what was going on. “I can’t see shit!” Odysseus whined. Merging into one, complete being, the two’s silhouettes became one, bright gold one. A shimmering flurry of energy and golden light came from the area, as the two- or, one being, was surrounded in a veil of gold light. Once the light dimmed, for a second, the new, complete body of the fusion could be seen floating there, head down, but not for long. Another explosion of energy once again blocked out most visible light, before fading to show the Complete form in all of his glory. He looked much taller and more mature than the two other androids, with larger muscles, longer hair, a more sinister grin. He raised his head, parting the hair in front of his face, then stared straight down at the Rock and Rollers.

“Just try and destroy me now.” The android boasted, his overconfidence beating even Cell’s. “I have the combined power to take on all of you. At once.” He grinned. “So, just try me.”

An explosion of energy came from the Android, producing a crater in the sand and sending electricity bolts everywhere. Myosai could now faintly sense this being’s power and, she had to say…

This was going to be a tough fight..

Tina frowned. Ever since she met Magnus and Pinkie she had been fighting things cockier than Ember if she was fighting on a sun. Again she summoned the earth to her. Increasing her size exponentially, till her chest was equal in height to the elevation of the android. "We'll see about that tin man." She replied. Then grabbed her opponent with her increased size, intending to exert incredible ammounts of force in crushing her foe. She also focused on the metal of the android, mentally forcing the metal to crunch inwards as well.

Cora hoped she hadn't, she didn't want to expose her to the dark thoughts she was having at the moment.

Soon they reached West City. It was a large city, with tall buildings and crowds on the streets. It wasn't as big as New York, but it was the largest city in the region. Cora continued flying over head until a large abandoned building came into sight. Cora tensed significantly when she saw it. She slowly landed in front of it and then spoke to Katie, "We're here. You can stay inside if you want, or come out." Cora told her friend who was currently still inside her.

Katie came out. She gave her friend a smile, putting her hand into hers hand holding it tightly. In truth, she was nervous too. She wasn't sure what she was going to see in there, or how Cora would react to it. She might go crazy and start attacking her for all she knew. She really had no idea. She could tell that Cora was thinking had from the regions of her anatomy being stimulated. Katie had begun mapping her insides, using her electron form to work out more about her friend a while ago.

"If You feel scared, sad or like repressed memories are coming out, let me know." She remarked, then smiled. "I'll try my best to help, but you may have to do the heavy lifting..."

Tomia wrote:Cora felt Katie take her hand and nodded at her words. She was very grateful for Katie being there. She didn't think she could do it without her. Cora led Katie into the abandoned building, still holding her hand the whole way. The building itself didn't seem like much. It was an empty building that was gathering dust. Cora knew better however as she headed toward a small door near the corner of the room. Cora pushed the old door open and revealed a stair case that led to an unlit basement.

Cora took a deep breath and led Katie down the stairs, bracing herself for facing her past. When they got about half way down the stairs the automatic lights flickered on, reveling the huge multi floor basement. Unlike the top floors the basement was in perfect condition, thanks to the deal that Cora had made.

The basement looked like a strange combination of a gym, and lab, and a hospital. In the center was a large circular machine that took up most of the room. Cora slowly approached it with Katie, and ran her free hand, which was shaking, along it. "This is a gravity chamber. It can simulate up to 300 times the eath's gravity. They made me train in here, 18 hours a day, ever since I was 5." Cora told Katie, hee voice starting shake as well.

She then headed headed down another floor with Katie. Cora was going pale now, this was the floor she was dreading. The main room looks like an operating room, with a number of tables and medical devices and machines around a central table. Cora suddenly burst into tears. "They operated on me here, everyday. They knew they couldn't kill me with operations and that I would heal almost immidealty, so they cut me open every day for their experiments. They called it the operating room, I called it the torture chamber." She said to Katie through her tears. She then headed toward another room that seemed like a smaller version of the operation room. "This is where they took me if I disbehaved. They would strap me to the table and fill me with chemicals. They made my stomach burn terribly, and my head feel like it would explode." Cora finally couldn't take it anymore and she fell to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. "17 years they had me here. I had no friends, no one to talk to, no hope." She told Katie through her tears. "They let me read. I read the bible when I was 6. I prayed every day for God's help, but it never came." She told Katie before sobbing so hard that she couldn't even speak anymore as she laid on the floor.

Katie felt herself tearing up too. This was all horrible. How could they be so cruel to Cora? It was insane.. Like they didn't even care about her at all. "That's..." She paused. She moved towards Cora on the floor. She wrapped her arms around her. She gave her a tight embrace. "I'm so sorry. That's awful. How could they do that to you? What did they think it would achieve?" She asked. "You don't have to worry about that any more though. I... We... All of us will look out for each other. We'll make sure this never happens to you again. I promise." She spoke.

She frowned. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have made you come here..." She spoke. "We can leave if you want, or keep going. It's your choice."

See, you know how there's a ton of nothing in space but darkness right? Dead space. Well. I can manipulate darkness. I could become all of that darkness and become the universe. In theory. Was going to tried it, but had a change of heart."

He looked at the sunset and sat on Julie's construct bench. "Yeah... It's hard to help people who are scared. And the sunset isn't bad. I've grown to like it." Julie was grabbing his hand. "And well..." It was time for him to use all those TV shows he watched. "...It's the second mos beautiful thing at the moment."

"Eh. Still could go wrong." Julie replied. "Someone finding out the truth could be pretty bad... She remarked, then heard Nightmares explanation of his 'trick' "Interesting... So why didn't you do it?"

"It is hard to help people when they're scared... Or angry. Especially if it's with you." She related, then paused when Nightmare made that comment about the sun being the second most beautiful thing. She then mentally looked around for what he might be referring to, until she realised what he meant. She blushed red and then looked towards Nightmare, into his eyes. Her human disguise was now gone. "So... What's the most beautiful thing then?"

She listened to Katie but couldn't respond, she just had to get her emotions out. After a few more minutes of crying Cora began to calm down. She wiped her eyes, which her red and irritated. She got to her feet and hugged Katie tightly, resting her head on her shoulder. "Thank you so much Katie, I needed you here. Maybe God did answer me after all, he sent me you." She said softly, her voice a little hoarse from crying. "I'll look after you too, no matter what. We might as well get what we came here for, come on." Cora said, taking Katie's hand and leading her down a hallway toward a large room in the corner, "This is the control room. They kept all their computers and cameras here." She told Katie. The room was filled with military grade computers and cameras. They were all surrounding a large TV screen in the center of the room. Cora went to work carefully piling the computers into a large that she found near by, making sure they all still worked. She decided to come back for the tv, since they had a lot of those at the headquaters. Cora jumped up and broke the roof enough to make an opening for her to fly through, making sure that none of the debris hit the computers. "Come on Katie, get inside. I'll bring us home." She said to her friend, looming forward to getting out of that place.

Katie smiled. She was glad that he friend was now feeling better. She hoped that this chance to face her past helped her. "Sure thing Cora." She replied, suddenly going into electron form and going inside of Cora. "I'm glad I met you Cora. Really glad. " she said. "I'm also glad I tried talking to you when we first met rather than fighting or soenthing stupid like that..."

At least, that was the original idea. But as you saw. Things changed just a little bit. Yeah... Humans are fickle as it is. I'm just at a loss. All their conflicts stem either from land, ideology, or resources. We could remove the need for land and resources." He sighed. "I hate people sometimes."

"I know. As powerful as we are, why cant we help them in a way that doesn't involve wrecking half a city to save it from an attacking madman? Or God as it was last time?" He said and watched her change back. "Well... I'll give you a hint... She loves the color green..."

"I guess. I'm not sure though. Humans are wierd. That's pretty much a galactic truth that every race acknowledges. "Yeah. Fighting should be a last resort but it seems we have to use it all the time..." She remarked, "God? That sounds interesting..." Super 17 knew he was screwed. Judging by this new female fighter's power and Earth abilities, her powers had to be related to the golem on the ground's. Eartly-based, and, seemingly, she could control metal.

This could be a problem. Parts of the android's internals were made of metal.

Slowly, and painfully inching his palm forth, the Android pressed on the giant rock lady's chest, without hesitation. "You are a big problem to me, rock lady." He said. "I can't allow you or your friends to live. You're just.. obstacles that need to be removed. You're hindering the process of my main goal."

"Hey, ugly android!" Magnus called. Odysseus raised an Anti-Materiel rifle round, firing straight into the android's neck. He then looked in shock as the Android held up the bullet. "This yours?" He asked, plucking the round at an even faster speed at the Super Soldier's direction. Odysseus, luckily, rolled out of the way, the bullet only grazing his shoulder.

Magnus clenched his fist. "Hey, ugly! You have right to treat my team members like shit, like you just did! That's my job when they fuck up!" He growled. "You better get your robotic hands off of Tina right now, or that hands going all the way up your shiny metal ass!"

17 glared at Magnus, extending one of his arms, and fired off a precise, thin energy wave right into Magnus's chest. The golem fell over, in pain, screaming his lungs out. "God fuck! That hurts!"

"Can't you regenerate or something?" Odysseus asked. Magnus slowly shook his head. "These types of moves- they fuck with my regeneration.. Badly.." He said, wincing in pain.

Super 17 chuckled at the sight of the idiot Odysseus, trying to Drag Magnus out of this. "Fools." He turned to the ladies. "As I was saying.."

His hand suddenly clenched itself around Myosai's neck, as Super 17 kept his palm over the Gigantic Tina, still. "You feel that, you two? That's the feeling of your energy being sucked up by me. Once I'm through with you two, I'm going to obliterate your entire half-ass team. Nothing's going to stop me from finishing my final goal, even if it means destroying this entire place.."

Myosai spat at the ground. "You're dangerously overconfident..." She rasped.

"And you have a dangerously sharp tongue." 17 replied, lobbing the weakened Myosai into a nearby building. "I hope you understand." The android said, looking off into the distance. "Someday, you will."

Two more spheres of energy appeared in his palms, one aimed point blank at Tina, and the other ready to fire at her friends.

Suddenly out of the giant Tina came a smaller Tina, small enough to avoid the blast, blasting out and creating a dust storm. She was still large enough to grab her foe. Still exerting considerable amount of pressure, she grabbed her opponent again and slammed him into the ground after grabbing him. "Don't you DARE hurt my friends tin man." She snapped angry she began slamming the android into the ground repeatedly. "I'm going to bury you like the scrap you are!" She shouted, each slam creating earthquakes.

Cora was silent for most of the ride back as she carried the large bin in her hands. Finally though, when they were getting close to New York she finally spoke up. "You asked me before, how the scientist could do that to me. They told me you know. They said I wasn't humam, so they could do what they want with me." Cora told Katie sadly. "You were my first friend, did you know that? I never had one before you. I always wanted one though. I had no one to talk to in the lab. It was so lonely. You're everything I could have hoped for." She told her. Cora rarely opened up like this, she hadn't told Katie anything about her past before. It was a sign that she truly trusted her. Soon their tower came into sight and Cora slowed down to land on the roof.

"... Thanks Cora. I..." She paused. "That really means a lot to me." She said honestly, quite emotionally overwhelmed at the moment. She felt so warm and fuzzy inside as she unfused from Cora. She seemed to be tearing up slightly as she looked Cora in the eye. A small smile was on her lips as she wrapped her arms around her best friend. "Thanks for coming into my life buddy... You helped me too. Helped me realise-"

She suddenly paused. A frown on her face as she realised something was wrong. She felt a sense, a wave of... Something.... Like something was causing a tremor... Through her soul. Anyone else could feel it. The sudden shake of their hearts almost in Time with footsteps.

Katie could see a female figure in the street. Her face was covered in a ski mask and she seemed to have wings sprouting from her back. Following her were a crowd of small little creatures that moved around her like schopla of fish, looking like pink goblins with sharp claws.

The woman herself walked in a strait line on he street, effortlessly pushing away cars that got in her way. She stood in front of the tower. A smile on her face.

"Looks like trouble..." She paused. "Want to see what she wants?" Her green hood and full costume materilized around her, part of what she had asked sheild for was something that helped her dress quickly. The other thing was still a work in progress unfortunatly.

"Yeah. Fighting should be a last resort but it seems we have to use it all the time..." She remarked, "God? That sounds interesting..." She smiled, then blushed again, she placed a hand on Nightmares cheek. "Is it the Martian girl on the green bench next to the hottest experiment ever?" She smiled as she looked into Noghtmares eyes.

"They fear the most powerful, slimey, and heartless creatures the humans have: Lawyers. A force to be feared throughout the universe!" He snickered. "They are. On the same notes, they've beaten back the Kree and Skrulls more than once. Held their own against Galactus. Ended the threat of a Zombie God... Or God of Zombies. Remind me to talk to Blondie and his girlfriend about the Kree. I learned something about them that he's going to want to hear."

"If you want my opinion, I think the good guys could be a little more... Lethal. Now I'm not saying we put a bullet between Paste Pot Pete's eyes. But let's be honest here. Some of these monsters would be better off dead. Most of them are just stupid, petty thugs, but some are straight up murderers. Joker for example. There is no reason why he should be allowed to live. Right... I never told you about Cul. Some Asgardian Jackass. Blondie and I found out something cool. We can like... Fuse our bodies into one guy. Who kicks so much ass his foot continually smells of ass. We shared a brain. It's how I know so much about him." He said and put his hand over hers. "Maybe... Yeah... It is. Let's be honest here. You're hot."

"Hinestly it's not even all humans. Most of them aren't so thick. It's just a few of them holding back progress..." She replied. "Though, then again, it might be the smart ones that cause problems too. The ones that are... Monsterous, like you said. People who are too smart and too evil."

"You might be sort of right. But then they're not nessecarily the good guys. Sure they're technically making the planet safer, but they're not exactly as morally right. I agree death might be nessecary. It might be the only way sometimes, painful as it is to say. But I think it should be a last resort at best, and not a first judgement. I'd consider myself a good hero of I didn't kill a single being in the course of my career, as I haven't yet and the very thought of breaking that streak makes me deeply uncomfortable."

She then paused. She smiled and brought their faces close together. "You are too. "The best guy a girl could ask for." She replied. Then brought their lips together into a kiss. She then moved their faces away and blushed, smiling. "Sorry. Couldn't resist."

New Rnclave wrote:Hiroshi:

They were all doomed.

There was a green flash as the inky black smoke parted, revealing the massive warrior, confidently striding towards the three of them.

" You think just because there are three of you, you could defeat me? Did two on one do any good? What makes you think one more of this planets pathetic warriors will give you the strength to stand up to me?"

He was right. Hiroshi knew that, there was no denying the facts.

" But that doesn't mean we'll give up!"

Before anymore words could be trded, The beast howled, before the Earth parted below him. It cracked and gave way as he charged, scattering the warriors, none having time to respond. A huge uppercut blew Hazzel away, a strong kick folded over Claudia and sent her flying through several buildings. Hiroshi himself was blasted away by the pure force the beats exerted, Hiroshi attempting to flip through the air for a counter-strike.

But it was too late. Before he could move a muscle, even manage a frantic flip, The Super Saiyan collided with him. A giant fist slammed into his abdomen, violently twisting his organs and bruising the tissue badly. His feet left the ground in a impossibly quick motion, the Giant swinging him into the air like a weapon, before batting the ground and several buildings with his helpless form, tossing him into the ground with ease. Struggling to breath over the blood clogging in his throat, Hiroshi shakily looked up to see a boot looming above him.

Tomia:

She'd been flying for hours it seemed, from the broken coffee shop her father had left her in. The destruction and the brutal beating of her father and even... Claudia, had been to painful to watch, the way they looked on in horror as that thing tanked ever blast and attack her Father could dish out, was unbearable.

" C-come on Daddy... You can do this!" Nodding, her eyes filled with determination, Tomia pushed herself as fast as she could, her body, as new to flying as it was, rubbed raw from continuous friction. Slowly, everything came into view, Her Daddy was on his back, the Beast confidently speaking to him whilst he raised his boot, preparing to stomp on him, the other man who had saved her was half sticking out of rubble, and Claudia was standing, if just barely.

" Leave my Daddy alone you big bully!"

Diving her leg out, arching towards the Titans neck, she drove a kick into his traps, pain exploding throughout her body as she crumpled, helplessly flipping over the monster and rolling through dust.

" I hate children." The Beast responded, before grinning like a madman.

Blinding pain followed, it was so intense that Tomia felt as if the entire right side of her face had simply vanished. Whatever hit her, did so with such strength that she couldn't see out of her right eye, her jaw ached with pain, and holding it shut was a struggle in it's own right. Something warm was leaking down the right side of her face, and dripped onto her clothes. Turning her one good eye, she spied the hand that smacked her away, sending her careening helplessly away. Colors swirled in her vision, two of the monsters stalking towards her as she lost the will to hold Super Saiyan.

" Who do you belong to little one?" it cackled, gripping her by the hair. " Let's just see who responds when I kill you."

As the monster pulled her up brutally, the world swam, an image of her Father, shakily standing to his feet, Claudia of all people behind him, squaring off against the monster as he gathered energy in his free hand.

The man was going to die.

Pointing his hand at Hazzel, it cackled as it released a large green orb, the area quaking as it detonated. In a terrible explosion, Tomia saw the man disappear in a terrible cloud of smoke.

" Leave he rout of this! She's just a child!" Hiroshi shouted before a horrific cackle filled the air.

" Tell me Boy. How much do you love your daughter?"

The words sent chills down Tomia's spine as he was tossed away, a strangled cry escaping her Father as he charged the Beast. it was almost impossible to move, let alone stand, and being tossed away so quickly was to much for her weak stomach, a violent expulsion from her stomach led to her getting vomit all over her dogi.

Looking up in a fit of dizziness again, she saw the golden form of her Dad lock arms with the beats again, struggling valiantly before folding beneath the monster in seconds. For the first time, Tomia saw her Father fight, and lose.

Tossed into the air, Hiroshi was simply batted aside as if he were a fly, slamming brutally into the ground and left unmoving as if he was nothing. Looking ahead again, she saw Claudia land several strikes before being kicked aside, bashed painfully into a building. When Tomia looked at her Father again, she saw his mouth open slowly in a desperate cry.

"RUN!"

Ice ran through her blood as she looked into her Fathers eyes. It was just like Garlic all over again, and he was gonna die for her, again. Staggering to her feet, she managed five steps before collapsing into a pile, coughing blood into her hands. Struggling to push herself to her feet again, a massive hand gripped the back of her dogi, before the other gripped her neck, before pulling her into the air. Holding her in the air, her legs dangling helplessly, a evil laugh filled the air.

" Look at how pathetic you all are You're all a waste of flesh and blood!"

Slowly the grip on her neck began to tighten like a noose. Every second the monster grip closed that much tighter, Even as pressure on his neck built, and red liquid ran over the Beasts hands, Tomia glanced over the battlefield with her one good eye. In her blurred vision, she saw Hazzel begin to rise, only partially concealed by smoke. Turning her eye away, she clenched them shut, willing the day, and this monster away.

With her eyes shut, she felt the hand close even tighter. Her lungs began to panic for air as her throat closed on her, tears welling up in her eyes.

Claudia. Claudia was getting up, and so was her Dad. They'd save her, they had too. Her Daddy would save her, he always did, he never gave up on her.

Suddenly, there was a popping noise in her neck, and pain exploded throughout her frame.

There was no hiding it anymore. There was no concealing the tears, no concealing the pain.

Everything in her mind screamed at her to fight back. A scream of absolute agony ripped from her throat before her neck tightened to far. Choking, pain howls escaped her as she shakily moved her hands up, gripping the hands and attempting to pry them away. With another pop, her hands fell away, her entire lower body falling limp.

All she could hear was the bones in her neck shifting under massive pressure.

Help. Someone please. Daddy!

" TOMIA!!

The last voice she heard was her Fathers as he sprinted towards her. For a brief moment, a smile grew on her lips, even amongst insurmountable pain and fear. Her daddy was coming.

It was quickly followed, not by the sounds of bones popping, but the brutal crack of them breaking. For a split second, pain tore through her, before her everything disappeared. She couldn't hear her breathing anymore, she couldn't feel a thing. She plainly couldn't hear.

In the final seconds, all she saw was her Father sprinting towards her, his arm outstretched, reaching for her.

And then she couldn't hear.

No she had though when Tomia was in the monsters arms. She was just about to move. The temperature went up to incredible levels. Then she heard the crack, and her heart skipped a beat. Tears came out of her eyes, quickly evaporated yet they had come out. No no no no no no.

"NO!" she screamed, tearing through her throat as if she vomited forth a thousand knives. The volume of it was enough to deafen people, like an explosion. She looked blankly for a second, wit nothing but dispair in her eyes.

Then her eyes lit up. Like someone had put a lot flame to gasoline they lit up brightly. Then in the next few moments Claudia charged the Saiyan. The temperature around her now enough to melt titanium like butter. It was hard to look in her direction, the fire so bright it would blind normal humans.

She screamed. She didn't stop even as she slammed into her foe, her fist rising to pummel Broly. Claudias fists rhythmically slammed down onto him like hammers, encircled by blue fire and powered by nothing but the purest of anger. She picked up in speed, completely whaling all her rage out into her foe.

"Also true. But like I said. Some of these guys don't need a bullet in the head. Some do just simply because they're making life harder and have a body count bigger than mine. Which shouldn't be true." He explained. "Some are just too twisted. It's just like pruning. We take out the nasty parts. Like that dumb clown. Batman has been fighting him for years. With how many people he's killed, we should just put him out of his misery. Most of these loons are just desperate to get ahead in life. The rest are just psychos. Don't worry about breaking that streak. We can do it good cop, bad cop style. You'll be good cop and I'll be bad cop."

"You're the only girl who didn't run screaming in the opposite direction. I try..." He said and almost went in for a kiss, with her until she backed away. "Awe... Come on... It would've been just like those cheesy romance flicks."

"Good cop and bad cop. That sounds kinda interesting. Rather unorthadox for a green Lantern." She remarked. "It could work. Still I'd ideally like to avoid causing too much death and destruction." She remarked. "Though, were probably not going to go after the Joker. I feel like that would be kinda overkill."

She giggled in response to his disappointment. Then went in for the real kiss. She placed her hands on his cheeks as she kissed him, their lips touching together before she moved off ever so slightly, still close to him. "That cheesy enough for you?"

"It could work. You be the nice one, I be the mean one. If it worked on TV, and for Batman, Why can't it work for us?" He asks. "I can keep things... Not blown up. He was merely an example." He was going to explain more but then Julie kissed him. "Yeah... Yeah... It was." There was never a moment in his life when he was this happy. "We should be the power couple! Screw Superman and Wonder Woman! Though I really should find a name better than Nightmare. Cause that doesn't exactly sound like a good Superhero name..."

"I suppose it could work... Still uncomfortable about killing, but alright... though I'm also quite interested in the power couple idea..." Julie replied. Then blushed. "So, you want to... Give us a try?" She asked, she smiled. She had gotten to know Nighty over the week and had to say she really liked his company. When he asked she gave thought to a name. "Well, I'm going to keep calling you Nighty..." She remarked. "I'm not sure. Shadow Knight could work because of your umbrakenisis, but it sounds a little corny..."

Tomia wrote:Cora was very much enjoying the moment she and Katie were sharing and hugged her best friend back. She saw Katie was tearing up a bit but decided not to bring it up. She returned Katie's smile and then listened to her speak. She wondered what she was going to say when she was suddenly interrupted by something. Cora could feel that something was off as well. She looked down the street and saw a woman with wings, it was very strange. She nodded when Katie asked if she wanted to see what was going on. She ran over to the corner of the roof and pressed a button beneath one of the railings. When she pressed it a large container that held her red infinity suit. It was designed liked Katie's but had an infinity sign in the center and had plate armor in the vulnerable places. When she stepped inside the containing closed and a few moments later Cora came out as Infinity. "Alright, lead the way Katie." She said her best friend. This seemed like trouble, but she was sure she and Katie could handle it.

The woman below smiled up at the two of them as Katie traveled through the wires in the building to arrive down at the street. The woman was tall, at least eight feet tall, which made the short Katie feel even more short. She frowned self consciously. "Can we help you?"

The demon looking woman laughed and flexed her wings. She looked intimidating, yet extreemely attractive at the same time despite her more demonic features.

"I have come to challenge you "Justice Queens" to see who the real queen of the city is!" She spoke. "I, Queen Jasmine of the Daemons from the abyss, have come to claim this city-"

"Look. I know you have a whole speech prepared, but this is New York. Not Middle Earth. You can skip the fantasy stuff and just get to the point." Jasmine? wondered Katie, before she reasoned this probably wasn't the same Jasmine. Hopefully.

Then she realised this demon queen looked really familiar, and sounded pretty familiar too. Of course she was much prettier and had a melodic voice that Jasmine didn't, a lack of glasses and quite a few feet of height-

Oh dear god no... It's her.

"Very well..." Spoke the deamon queen. "I wish to fight you all."

"All of us? The others are busy. You got me and Infinity. That should be more than enough."

I don't think she's here for any of that demon crap... We're not the most well known at the moment. Then why is she here?

The deamon laughed. "You underestimate me! It will hardly be a challenge to deal with you two worms!" She then smiled Emily. "I'll make you all my slaves! And I'll have a special purpose for you Katie..."

Fuck... she knows... How does she know? Katie suddenly felt something and quickly dodged one of her minions that had been thrown at her with speeds that would make a bullet jealous.

Cora followed Katie down to the street where the came face to face with a very tall demon woman with wings. When she said she wanted to defeat the Justice Queens Cora frowned and got angry. "Ya? Well you don't seem that tough. We don't need the others to beat you. We can handle this ourselves." She looked over to Katie who seemed disturbed, like something about this demon was very wrong. She suddenly heard Jasmine call Katie by her real name and Cora was shocked. Did Katie know this crazy woman? "How does this freak know who you..." Cora was suddenly cut off by the monster throwing two of her small minions at Katie at incredible speeds. Cora was shocked and relieved that Katie was able to dodge them. Angry filled in Cora's mind. No one threatened her best friend, no one. "You like throwing stuff huh? Well let's see how you like this!" Cora shouted to her, raising a large energy blast and throwing it at Jasmine.

Suddenly Jasmine countered with a wall of hellfire, one which would engulf the Ki ball and defend her from its effects.

"I think not Infinity. I think you'll be begging for mercy before this is over."

Katie rolled after the dodge, then sped toward her foe. She sent out a blast of electricity at her, which she grunted at. The demon fell back, only to grab her foe by the arm. Katie's eyes widened as she was lifted up. She struggled and Jasmine smiled.

"Just like old times Katie?" She spoke. "I don't want to hurt you really Kate." She spoke, tightening her grasp proving she was lying. Katie bit back a scream of pain. Jasmine frowned. "We can be together Katie. You and I. Like before."

Eleven months ago

Jasmine, short, unnatractive and nerdy was balling her eyes out after yet another rejection. Her blonde hair tied in pigtails and her massive glasses giving her the classic nerd look. She was going to be all alone. No one to hold and love her. No one she could love back. No one even likes her, she was just so hopeless and pathetic.

Suddenly she heard a sound. The sound of footsteps, she looked up to see someone. Someone with a warm and welcoming smile.

"Hey there! Katie. We know each other from class." She spoke. Still smiling she took a seat. "Look. I know why your upset. I saw that Harold guy and you talking and then... Well I decided to follow you in here." She explained. Then put a hand on hers. "You don't need to worry. You'll find the perfect person eventually."

Jasmines eyes widened. No one has ever been this nice to her. No one had ever said such nice things. She felt much better.

"Umm... Okay."

"So... Yeah. Just hold on till you find the person who will accept you alright. He or she has to be out there somewhere!" She spoke. She gave the thumbs up. Then looked at the time. "Crap! I have to go to a lecture."

"Wait! Just before you go..."

Katie frowned. "Um. Yeah. What?"

"Um... Well... Can... We be friends?"

Katie paused. Then smiled. "Sure. Of course!" She replied. It astonished the other girl. She blinked, though by the time she did Katie had ran out the door. "We can talk more about it later after my class!"

"Wait!" She shouted. But then frowbed, sighed, her head hittig the desk. "I would have asked a lot more if I knew you were going to accept so quickly..." She said to herself.

Present day
"I'm pretty! Powerful! You should want me! That's why you broke up with me isn't it? I wasn't pretty enough!"

Katie groaned, in pain. She still squirmed. Her arm wasn't damaged yet, but much worse might happen if she didn't escape quick.

Daniel Carter/NightBlade-32 Yrs-Devil's Den

As Mia went off on her own to gather information. I myself allowed myself to place some distance from us as I went off on my own. After all, it may do her some good to get away from me for a while. I moved about the club as I took in the lights, music, costumed staff and dancers but most interesting was the large crowds of heroes, villains and all in between. One could throw a rock and find someone guilty enough to warrant death in most cases, but I know better than to try anything here. For the most part, I ignored most of the random murmurs around me. But something had captured my attention, a woman, who looks as if she had been through a rough time lately, was speaking about Gotham and the mess it is currently in. She had several bruises on her face and a set of dirty asylum clothes, so the assumption that she was an escaped asylum inmate, was not a hard one. She spoke while constantly brushing her bands away from her eyes. "Gotham is shit, too dangerous for even some of the most powerful masked villains to move freely, not just from Batman, the man is missing, but from other killers." The man she was speaking too, appeared far cleaner, and wore some type of uniform. "What about Batgirl, I hear she is still in the city..." The crazed woman cut him off in frantic ramblings. "Are you joking? Things are worse than ever, that side kick has not helped at all. Why do you think I am holed up here? But just wait, as soon as I hear things have calmed down a bit, I'll go back. I'll show em, show em all..."

I walked past the couple, as I had made my decision. Even in this Earth, Gotham is still the icon of corruption, failure and greed. That is fine, as I will cleanse it.

Tonight.

As I glided around the various rooms, eventually making my way to the Arena, I discovered that the Joker, had not been spotted in some time. Neither had his offshoots, Harley Quinn and Jester. Not to mention Silver Queen. I have found my targets. Gotham's cleaning will begin with the symbol of it's torment. The Joker will go first, and everyone close to him. Including the Jester and Silver Queen as well. Not only that, it must be made somehow public, for the world to witness.

My mind traced back to Deathstroke, and when he televised our own battle. A tactic I can borrow to show the masses, disease will no longer be tolerated in this world. After all, crime is like a cancer and must be eradicated swiftly.

As I was just about to leave the Arena and go search for Mia. A man, obviously dressed the part of a hero began to walk towards me. At first I had the instinct to ignore him, but he seemed...similar. To me. Well, more precisely to Sentinel. His armor, had more than a convenient resemblance to my own in many ways. The armor was bulky and colored in red, white and black. Had a black visor and the helmet resembled the visage of a....dinosaur? As the man drew ever closer I realized that he was not walking past me, but he was walking to me. Finally, the man stopped in front of me, and as soon as he spoke, it was obvious he had a voice converter.

"I need to speak with you, before you go wherever you are going." The man stated, presenting himself like a wall to my progress.

"Sorry, I just came to chat, but not with you." I then tried to move past him, but he placed his hand on my chest and modestly shoved me back.

"I am not asking."

I breathed deeply, gaining my own composure. The man is adamant, but stupid. I cocked my head in his direction, both of us analyzing the other through our own masks.

"What do you have in mind?" I quizzed him, to which he simply answered by nodding in the direction of the Arena. I smirked beneath my mask.

Of course, just a brawler. Well, It would do him well to learn from his mistakes. I allowed him to lead me to the arena. Where the rules were explained to us. Neither of us really needed it, they were simple enough to understand, and we seemed about the same level of power regardless. The cheering crowds around us each began to place bets as the battle was gonna be showcased, and when the match began, we both dove right in at peak human speeds. I threw in several fast paced flurries and he deftly managed to block them all. As I made a sweeping leg kick at his lower legs, he managed to do a backflip to evade, only he traveled far higher than even a olympic champion would have been able to. Hell, even further than I could.

"You know what you are doing. I can see that, but how is your blade work?" I asked, drawing my own sword. As this unknown hero drew his blade, his alias revealed to be 'Ranger' from the announcer for the Arena. Our blades glanced off of each other as he circled the ring, each one of us delivering blows and avoiding or blocking the other one. But as we fought, I could not shake the sense of deja vu, his stance, moves and stature all seemed to mirror my own.

And the mystery only served frustrate me to no end.

I locked his own blade between my own and a wall as I managed to place a high kick right into his helmet. Knocking the mask off and revealing the face of my adversary. One that was aged into his mid twenties. Short cut brown hair, and deep coffee colored eyes. Features matching my own deceased son.

I then violently took hold of his sword and slammed my arm into his, forcing him to drop the weapon and allowing me to take hold of it. Using both blades to pin him to the wall, but not actually puncturing him, I gave a deep growl.

"Who...are you?" He then pressed his palm to my chest and released what would have been a powerful ki blast which launched me across the arena. I slammed into the opposite wall on my back as I fell over, recovering, I still wielded both of our swords as he approached me, this time hovering slightly in the air. But not from any in built feature of his armor, no...he was flying.

"I am the son of a man who used to be called the greatest hero there ever was. A man who has lost his own way, blinded by tragedy. My name is...August Carter." This was not amusing. This...man. Looks like my son, he fights like me, he has the powers of his mother, and he claims to be...someone he could not be. I squeezed the handle of my blade, so desiring to make him confess his lies. But, it is possible that this man, is from another timeline. Or future or dimension or anything else of a million possibilities.

He could very well be a August Carter. But no, he is not mine.

I stood up, and raised a single hand as I voiced my own forfeit. "I give up." I no longer had any interest in fighting this man.

As I collected myself and sheathed my blade, I turned my back on the young man. He took a couple steps after me.

"Dad, I still need to speak to you-" I cut him off, by raising a single hand. And spoke while never turning to face him.

"You may indeed be the son of Daniel in some timeline....but I only have one son. And he is dead." And with that, I left and made my way over to the VIP Lounge, not taking long at all to spot Ceecee and Mia alone, with Mia as pink as the dress she is wearing. I made my way over to the both of them, and closed the launge door behind me, so it was just the three of us.

I had a feeling that Ceecee would be willing to help me, but just in case, I needed her to trust me. So, I removed my mask as NightBlade and stood as I faced her.

"Ceecee, I am sure you remember me. We were both at Arkham Asylum some time ago. I am here because I need some information. I have picked up rumors of Jester trying to locate the Joker. I want to find them both, along with their accomplices, and start with cleaning Gotham up with them. Joker is the face of the disease destroying Gotham. Mia here, has offered to help me restore order in Gotham." I then took a seat next to Mia.

"I know you are likely aware that I do not use...lethal means, to achieve a goal. But things have...changed. People like us, we are professionals. We have the capabilities to enter into this mess and eradicate the disease crippling Gotham without collateral damage. So, what I am asking is...Do you know where the Joker is? If we find him, Jester and Silver Queen will also find us. Then we can deal with all of them in a single swoop." I finished explaining.

As I leaned back, I tried to push the thoughts of the August I met out of my mind. As I tried to extract the information I needed from Ceecee. August had relocated to the Hero's Cafe to unwind from our fight.

Walking into the Devils den came another super powered celebrity, and the only one who was a pop singer. And the only one with a massive blade.

Nice place... Asked Verse.

About an hour or so ago.
She had nodded to Gilbert in thanks, and walked towards the man she intended to interrogate. Crowe had ties to each of the big five. And though Verse didn't know it, him too.

"Crowe. Tell us what you know. Where is Janice."

"Janice? Verse I don't know where she is."

"What?"

"They cut all ties with me and went underground. I have no idea where they are. I'm sorry."

Chorus scowled, sorely tempted to chop his head off. This had been a disappointing day.

"But.. There might be one way to find them. Janice always liked bars. She kept talking about this new one that had popped up called..."

Present.
The Devils den...

She walked around, looking for someone who matched Crowes description of her. She was supposed to be a fighter aparantly.

He said she doesn't usually come to these sorts of places till later."

"Fine. I'll wait." she replied, finding a chair and sitting down in it next to a table. Then she sighed. Or at least tried to, but nothing came out.

Charmera wrote:No she had though when Tomia was in the monsters arms.

She looked blankly for a second, with nothing but despair in her eyes.

Then her eyes lit up. Like someone had put a lit flame to gasoline they lit up brightly.

Hiroshi:

Why?

All he did was try. All he could do was try. That's all he ever did, and somehow everything would work itself out. But they never did. Even when he put everything he ha into his efforts, everything always fell apart. He should be able to protect the ones he loved, he should've been able to save her! The one person that always pushed him forward, that left him hopeful that something would always be alright, was gone. And all that was left in Hiroshi's chest was an empty void, a swirling pool of sadness and despair.

Al that he could think of was the face of his child, the one thing he loved more than anything else, as she died in that Monsters arms, the smile she'd given him. She'd believed in him, and hoped he was coming to save her. And he failed. This couldn't be happening. Not on the same day he was wished back to life. It was impossible to believe it had all happened. It was impossible... He was never fast enough, strong enough, smart enough. He was the first Saiyan to achieve this level of power in a thousand years, he was an Ascended Saiyan, the pinnacle of Saiyan power, yet, It wasn't enough.

He'd failed Tomia, he'd sworn to protect her and achieved unparalleled levels of power to do so, yet it was never enough, he couldn't save her. He failed Tomia, his Mother, Oniyo and the entire Namekian race because he wasn't strong enough. Shakily looking at Claudia, he realized he'd failed her too, He'd sworn he loved her yet had allowed her to fight this beast, and had left her alone to handle Tomia. He never gave up hope, but what did that do for Tomia?

What had it done for his Mother? Or Ariel?

What had it ever done for him in his life? How much time had he wasted training? Could he have been a better father? Struggling to stand, Hiroshi wondered what Claudia would be like if they'd never met.

Uncontrollably, tears streamed down Hiroshi's face, his knees giving out as he fell, his eyes locked on the body of a little girl who thought she could swoop in and save the day as he had, a little girl who deserved better then him.

Sobs racked his body as he stared. Why wouldn't she just get up? Why was she hanging there in that monsters grip? The right side of her face was mangled, her eye crushed, the socket a bleeding mess. Ariel would be so mad. Maybe he could get her a sensu and everything would be okay...

But Ariel hated him.

And his daughter was dead.

"T-Tomia." Hiroshi choked, even the name shaking him to the core.

"NO!" Claudia screamed, the sudden wave of force sending Hiroshi sprawling. Everything was to surreal, but Hiroshi understood what was happening, the second wave forcing Hiroshi to raise his power. It was the same power he witnessed against Garlic, an incredible power born of godly rage. Looking over to Broly, he felt his grief and self loathing transform into something greater.

This bastard was just standing there, laughing. He was laughing that he killed his daughter.

Summoning his remaining power, Hiroshi shook with fury, fire flooding his veins, golden energy flickering around him violently. Even if he couldn't defeat this thing, he was going to get his daughter back.

" Well, you two are angry, Perhaps you wont be so disappointing this time!"

It wasn't Hiroshi who struck him, it was a red blur, strikes hammering into his form like a jackhammer. Energy pulsed off of Claudia, as if he was exerting the power of the sun. It wasn't him who would avenge his daughter, it was a girl who wouldn't know him if he didn't have PTSD. A girl who he was in love with, yet he didn't know if she shared the feelings.

For the first time since his transformation, Hiroshi saw pain burst across the beasts features. It was so shocking Hiroshi almost missed his chance, Steeling himself, he rocketed from his position, the earth cratering beneath him.

Flipping around the giant, Hiroshi cracked his knuckles across the Beasts jaw, blood and saliva mixing as they Super Saiyan stumbled. Sliding beneath a flailing fist, he grasped his daughters dogi, bursting off in a blur of motion, clutching the mangled body of a 5 year old.

There was another massive thunderclap behind him. And this time it wasn't Claudia striking the Giant.

Rage returned openly to Hiroshi's features as he set his daughter down, a familiar golden fire burning to life around him. So much of his hate had already been tapped in too. And there wasn't enough stamina left in him to release his power fully. The air around him sizzled with power, Hiroshi steadying himself as the beast approached.

The look of pure ragehad returned to Broly as well, the Monster taking several deep furious breaths.

" No one strikes me."

" And I'm sure no one lives to tell the tale either! Get on with it you son of a bitch! I'm still standing!"

The strike came so quickly, Hiroshi couldn't follow it. It was so incredibly powerful, even as it cracked across his jaw, that the impact resonated through his frame. Sparks of Super Saiyan energy bled off of him as his body lifted into the air, before falling backwards. His body barely traveled any distance before a meaty fist gripped his ankle. Immediately, his body snapped like a whip, the force of the blow traveling through his upper body.

Then he experienced real agony.

Pulled violently backwards, Hiroshi was impaled on Broly's knee, back first. His entire being blistered in pain, and his legs went numb within seconds. Something severed with the impact, and only for a moment could he fill the sharp pain within his back, just above where the knee landed. A pained grasp barely left his lips before a fist doubled him over, an elbow colliding with his head as he was slammed into the ground. Ribs broke and splintered under the force while blood spewed from his throat.

It was impossible to breath, impossible to think, and ran over the left side of his vision as Broly pulled him in close, fingers digging into the flesh of his throat.

" What a waste you are." Broly cackled as he tossed him down, raising his boot.

This was it, he was going to join his daughter.

"BROLY!"

Everything froze in time, a angered shout echoing across the landscape as Claudia sped towards them.

Get out of here! Go! Grab Tomia and Leave!

The words caught in his throat, blood vomiting past his lips, dripping off his chin and onto he torn remains of his dogi.

" Well, Bitch. Are you going to save this one?" The Monster cackled. " You're so pathetic!"

By the time Hiroshi recognized the words, the huge boot slammed down on his back, before grinding into it.

Unable to resist or hold back, Hiroshi screamed for all he was worth, despite the blood in his throat and lungs.

Suddenly Claudia picked up the leg that was pushing down on her boyfriend, her eyes were alight with rage as she litterally picked Broly up and used him as a club. She slammed his body down on to the ground repeatedly, like a she was swinging a toy arouns or using his face to beat the ground. She then tossed him into the ground, she then jumped into the air and slammed down onto her foe, her hand pushing his head into the ground, which she slammed repeatedly into the ground.

Tomia wrote:Cora's eyes widened when her attack was absorbed. Jasmine was clearly powerful, this wouldn't be as easy as Cora had thought. She saw Katie attack the monster but suddenly she was grabbed and Cora could tell she was in trouble. She had to do something quick.
She turned over to the demon minions, and began firing dozens of small blasts at them. Cora hoped this would distract Jasmine because the next second she was flying toward her at high speeds, aiming a kick at her shoulder to force her to release Katie.

Jasmine was distracted, which meant she ended up dropping Katie. She growled, whirling around to face her assailant. "You!" she shouted, she charged Cora, attempting to grab her and slam her against a sign post. "You're not her real friend. I'm the only one she needs! Me!" she shouted.

Tomia wrote:Cora was glad when she saw Jasmine drop Katie, but then Jasmine came after her. Cora was faster than Jasmine so she was able to dodge her attacks easier, but if she was caught, it wouldn't be good for her. She dodged Jasmine's grab as she crushed the sign post behind her. Cora then sent a number of quick jabs and kicks to Jasmine's stomach, rolling away to try to stop Jasmine from grabbing her. "Friends don't break arms Jasmine. You may be beautiful on the outside, but you're ugly on the inside." Cora said to her, trying to keep her attention away from Katie.

Jasmine got mad. "Shut up! I didn't break her arm! I.. " she paused, looking at Katie, who was rubbing her arm. She stepped back having a moment of clarity with a look of guilt on her face. "What... Have I done..?" before the magic pills she had been taking regularly for so long now drowned out clarity. "You! You forced us to fight! Your fault!" She shouted near incoherently as she suddenly let out a torrent of hellfire from her mouth in a flamethrower style.

Katie saw this. "No Jasmine!" She shouted and ran up to her. "Listen! This isn't what you need what you... Need-"

"This is for your own good Katie." She spoke, letting the fire dire down and bashing Katie away, dazing her for a little while. She then followed up her flames by charging Cora again, trying to punch her.
