The good news was Okarot got Superman to the sun, and it seemed to be working with burning off the Doomsday virus. The bad news was that there was some sinister energy on him and he still had to deal with Naja. "I didn't want to do this, but I don't have the time." He said and Naja flew straight at him. He turned his shield into a portal and sent them to where the unconscious Superman and injured Okarot were. Though Alex had opened Naja's portal inside the sun to buy himself some time while he found out what was going on with Okarot. "I just sent my girlfriend into the heart of the sun. So please don't die on me yet."
Alex created a bubble around Okarot, meant to be a potent healing spell. "Okay... This should take care of your wounds, but that energy is something else. I don't know too much about Saiyans. So you're going to have to explain what it is before I act. And you don't want to know what my version of act is. I'll give you a hint. You're losing the arm if we can't fix it."
Okarot gave a weak chuckle before grunting in pain, "To be honest, I didn't even know this form existed. Superman just made me mad, and I transformed. I'm as lost as you... But I do have a plan to fix it.", he said, looking over at Superman, who was already almost back to normal, "Fortunately, we have one of the strongest beings in the universe right here. If I go unconscious, I should revert back to my base form, and this energy will probably disappear.". the Saiyan continued, a portal opening up on his right side. He stuck his arm in it, along with all the dangerous energy, "This portal leads to a dimension where time moves at an enormously decelerated rate. It should buy some time.
He breathed out in relief, able to release some of the energy subduing the power, before speaking to Alex once more, "Oh, and if I were you, I wouldn't touch it. This energy burns my skin, so I'd hate to imagine what would happen to your own."
"I wouldn't worry too much about me. I have enough defensive spells to resist most anything. But fortunately I don't have to touch it. With the amount coming off of it, it's easy enough to sample. I honestly don't have a great answer, but my guess is since we just spent two years training together, and the fact that you've likely never fought a sorcerer of my caliber for such an extended period, it's possible your Ki has mutated. Into what is beyond me." He explained as Superman regained consciousness and Naja finally made her way out of the sun. "Welcome back to sanity. Hopefully you'll stay this time."
"One can only hope..." Superman replied, examining his innards as well as Naja's with his microscopic vision. "Whatever spores Doomsday infected us with, we're clean as far as I can tell. Thank you. Both of you. If you didn't step in, there's no telling how much damage would have been caused. Okarot, right?" He asked. "If you want we can examine what's going on with your arm back at the Watchtower."
Naja floated over to Alex. "Was teleporting me into the core of the sun completely necessary?" She asked seeming slightly annoyed.
"Uhhh... Actually, kind of. Okarot was hurt and you were still-"
"I know you loon. I'm just messing with you." She said. "Thank you. I don't think I've ever been that angry in my life."
"Promise me you won't get infected again."
"I don't think I'll ever let it happen willingly."
