"Uh huh. Joining what exactly? And was blowing Lobo's head off really necessary? I mean he did what you asked. And I'm only staying as long as I want to. At least until I figure out what you want with me. If I don't like it. I'm gone. So what's the deal? I'd rather settle this without violence, but I'm in no way opposed to it." She said and saw Alex's telepathic illusion standing behind Ronan. He waved obviously happy that he was pretty much invisible.

They can't see or hear me. I can hear your thoughts as well as theirs. They're gonna try and assimilate you into something called the Phalanx. Give your powers, you should, theoretically, be immune to it. The distance is too vast for me to teleport. At least not without a few minutes to get ready, so you're on your own. I've been doing some research on what the Kree have that could actually be a threat to you. They don't have much, but they do have a man called Genis-Vell, better known as Photon. Basically their version of me. I don't know exactly how powerful he is, but I get the feeling it's as much as I used to be. If he shows up, you either have to run, or you're going to have to go all out. Other than that you should be fine.

How long are you going to keep watching me? I can do this by myself.

I'm aware. And I probably should get out of this restroom before this line gets any bigger. And I can only take this smell for so much longer. He said and was about to leave when he saw Kylie being dropped on the floor. Isn't that Kylie?

What's she doing out here?

You may want to wake her up before you start trashing the place.

"Huh?" He said as the temperature dropped back down. "Son of a bitch..." Killian got back to his feet but it was already too late. The speed was gone and he did the only thing he could do in that situation: block. Or rather try to block. But what happened next was slightly surprising to him instead of being liquified, he was thrown back across the planet. "You call that a punch? I didn't even fe-" cutting himself off, he looked at his chest which had a massive crack in it. Not too different from stone. "No no no no no no no no... This wasn't how this was supposed to go! I had 3 years left before this is supposed to happen!" He said frantically feeling his chest, but as soon as his hands touched it, all of his skin peeled away like it was a shell leaving the bright blue form that was his Transcendent state.

He glared at Frost. "Do you know what you done you worthless lifeform?!" No longer being affected by the cold, he move so fast that he appeared before Frost a half second before he appeared to move. He was steaming with rage. "I could kill you right now! It would take no more effort than blinking!" He rose his hand to erase Frost from existence, but hesitated. After a few seconds he lowered his hand. "As easy and as much as I want to destroy you. I'm not going to." He said and then blew Frost apart before resurrecting him a second later. "I want your last experience with me, ending with you knowing that I am superior to you. Infinitely superior. I always will be. But my time is limited and I've given you more than you deserve. We will never meet again. For your sake, it would be best to pray that I'm right about that." And with that, he vanished. He knew what he had to do, but just one more day was all he needed.

She sighed. The peaceful way was certainly the boring and annoying way. It wouldn't have been hard to smash Ronan through the window, grab Kylie, and be gone before they could be, but she had to help put a stop to this. It wasn't like this ship could hold her. If she really wanted to leave, it may as well have been made of tin foil. She was about to put Ronan though the wall when she heard the name Ultron. By the way he was addressed and the history of the psychotic machine on Earth, it was obvious he was behind everything. "Alright... I'll play along. But here's how this plays out. You don't hurt my friend. And I don't show you what the power of a million exploding suns looks and feels like." She said with her arms crossed. "Final offer."

"You misunderstand our goals. The Collective does not want to hurt anyone. It desires peace -- peace that can be obtained only by joining the Collective. Free will is but a hindrance towards achieving our full potential as sentient beings. Harm will only come to those who threaten this peace."

"[Warp - drive prepared.]"

"Then, let us return home." A wormhole appeared in front of the ship and they entered it. They passed the energy barrier surrounding the Kree galaxy with no difficulty, and quickly reached Hala. Upon landing on the planet, they were transferred to holding cells in a large tower that dwarfed all of the other structures in the capital city, with the exception of Adam Warlock, who was taken to a different section of the tower.

"Oh yeah... The Everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others thing. I read books and listen to public radio too. I've also seen Terminator. Which you, and everyone else who thinks about building a sentient A.I. should watch before doing it. Remind me to kick whoever built Ultron in the nuts when this is over." They were taking her literally to the heart of everything. She complied and sat in her cell scanning the structure with her X-ray vision. After a few minutes she was cisited by the Ghost of Christmas Alex.

"You look like you're having fun. I paid for the food and put everything away in my room. By the way remind me to give you your credit card back. So how's it going?"

"Actually, don't let the prison cell fool you. This is in the heart of like everything for their little operation. I played along and they probably think I'm weaker than I actually am. The second things go awry, I'm switching to good old fashioned violence. I'm just hoping that guy you told me about earlier doesn't pop up. We just have to pop Ultron and this is over."

"Ultron? You can't just pop him. If you really tried, you could get past his chassis. But even if you break it, he has a bunch of backup bodies. You need to find a way to cut him off from them before destroying him. Otherwise you're just gonna keep going on a wild goose chase."

"How do you know so much about the Kree? And Ultron? And everything?"

"Magic." The projection sneered a bit much to the annoyance of Naja. "While yes, it is magic, it's mediation. It's nice and quiet in my apartment which allows me to focus. I become in tune with the universe and can explore virtually anything I please unhindered. So I've been going through Kree intelligence and looking up anything involving Ultron. Yes this is your first solo mission. Kind of. But just because I can't kick Ultron's ass with you, doesn't mean I can't help you. You're the muscle. I'm the brain."

"There are nicer ways to put things."

"Well. Like you said. My social skills aren't exactly up to snuff."

"Stay here? And here I was planning to go on vacation. I'm only here until they take me to that weird room and try to add me to their ranks. It will not go well for them. I played possum." She replied to Ruby and sat against the wall. "So Kylie, how are you enjoying space so far? I mean... Minus getting knocked out and kidnapped.... I promise that doesn't happen too often. But on the bright side, they literally brought us straight t their home base, and we didn't even have to fight them." Sure that probably wasn't the best way to break the news that they're stuck in a cell. Even though Naja was more than capable of breaking out, she was smart enough to wait for the best moment to strike. Like a snake.

Killian

This wasn't supposed to happen yet. The power was supposed to build up over the next few years. At least that's what the Infinity Gauntlet told him. Before it broke. He knew what had to happen next, and before it did, he wanted to say good-bye. Namely to his wife and son. He was nervous. They were not happy with him the last time they spoke. But that was over a month ago. He flew to the pair who gave him the stink eye when they saw that he was still transcendent. He explained that he had tried to get rid of it, but now it wouldn't stop. It was time for him to leave this dimension. When they heard that they would never seem him again, that hurt. They still loved him. "I'm sorry. But you know how I get when I'm like this too long. My mind tries to understand things that mortals aren't meant to understand and I go insane."

"Dad, it's okay. We can fix this. You don't have to go..." He said gripping his father. "Please don't go."

"You're growing up. I'm sorry Talak... I really am. I should have been a better father... I've made so many mistakes. If I could go back and fix them, I would." While he could time travel, he couldn't do it without completely ruining the space time continuum. Which would make things worse. "I love you. I always have and always will. You're my son. And you're growing into a man. It hurts. I know it hurts. I have to do this. I don't want to hurt anyone else. Besides. Someone has to be Speed Demon. Guess that's you."

Talak had grown a bit. A few years older thanks to his fiddling with the Phoenix against both his parent's wishes. He stayed quiet for a minute before hugging his father. "I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too. But hey. Don't be sad. One day we'll see each other again. I promise. I don't care what I have to do, I'll see you both again soon." He said and turn his attention to his wife. They both finally gave in and hugged.

"Don't do anything too stupid."

"We both know that's not going to happen." Killian said laughing a bit. "I love you both."

"Patience is a virtue." She said and smiled as the building began to shake and Ruby told them to get moving. "I'm not completely sure what the explosion is. But just point me at the biggest thing that needs a good smashing, and I'll handle the rest. I never actually used my powers more than a little. Alex kept saying how dangerous they were. Million exploding suns this and accidentally breaking a continent that. But you will noticed a distinct lack of the blonde giant whom I love to pieces, but is a moron." She was eager to finally show off what she could do. Not only to Ultron. But to the Kree.

"I'm not a moron..."

"Alex. I love you. But you're the biggest scaredy cat I've ever met. You want me to take your place as the Golden Guardian. I'll do it. But I don't want you breathing down my neck. I know what I'm doing. And I'll never learn to control that much power id I never get any practice. And a legion of Ultron flunkies should be great practice. Can't you be happy about something for once in your life? There are other emotions than moping you know."

"You should introduce him to me sometime, Naja. He sounds like so much fun." Kylie snickered as she flew, though she was serious about wanting to meet Alex. After all this time knowing Naja, Kylie had never met her BF. And he sounded really interesting; interesting enough to warrant meeting at least once.

"He's actually gotten better since he recently lost his powers. He has others, but he's not as good with them yet. And you can meet him when we're done tearing Ultron a new processor. He lives in the Tower. Since he's broke, I have him collecting rocks from space for us, and in exchange I pay for... Everything." She snickered. "I don't mind. He got me superpowers. Brand name ones too. So I'm just paying him back. He uses magic nowadays. He's not bad with it. It's kinda weird, but he knows what he's doing. I've actually been talking to him. He can like... Project himself over space. Or something. It's magic. He's been doing research on Ultron for me. It's nothing we didn't already know. Other than the fact that we need a way to seal his consciousness into one body so when we break him, he stays broke."

She snickered.

"Oh, that's too bad..." Kylie began, before hearing the rest of Naja's explanation. "Wait... the tower? Our tower? You're letting your BF live in our tower!? And never said anything about it!? Whaaat!?" Kylie quickly entered freak-out mode, worried that Alex might've used his new mystic magic powers to spy on the girls. She didn't know him, she couldn't trust him, so there was enough reason to be worried.

"Oh yay, so he could have spied on any of us in our rooms whenever. Great." Now exasperated, Kylie lost the energy to freak out anymore. "Whatever, we gotta talk about this later. But Ultron... big bad robot guy, right? I've been doing some research on a lot of bad guys recently." Kylie was proud of herself for knowing that, even if all she had to do was ask the ring. "I know this might sound dumb, but has anyone ever tried taking out his batteries? Serious question, I think it could totally work."

"Relax. He's not that kind of guy. Once you meet him it'll be fine. He's more concerned with trying to get his magic under wraps and protecting the planet. Used to be he was out twenty four, seven. So I gave him a place to stay. Besides, he's not invulnerable anymore. I catch him doing that, and I'ma smack him. That... And he said he finds human women boring, after spending so much time in space." She snickered. Ever so slight revenge for Kylie freaking out about her appearance on their first meeting. Naja looked out of the hole in the wall. "So. What needs hitting? Just let me know what needs to be stopped and I'll do that. Either that or punch Ultron."

"If you need backup, just shout my name. Be there in a flash." She said turning her attention to the soldiers that were accompanying him. "Normally, I don't do a lot of killing, but you guys are mostly cybernetic. So I really don't have any qualms about that." She said smashing through the phalanx soldiers. "I never get to fight this many guys. It's usually just one really strong one. Hopefully Grail won't show up again. Now would be an annoying time."

Killian

"Good-bye you two. I promise, I'll always remember you. Thank you for everything. All the fun we've had together. It was great. Too bad we... Had that argument. I wish I could make it go away." He said and he and his wife kissed one last time. He gave Talak a hug. "You're the man now, Talak. Take good care of your mother."

"I don't want you to go..." He said with tears streaming down his face.

"I don't want to go either." Killian replied wiping his face. "But I have to. That's what heroes do Talak. They do the things no one else wants to. Sacrifice. They don't have to have powers to do it. Anyone can be a hero. And I know you'll be a great one. It's time for me to go. Good-bye. It's been so much fun." And with one last family hug that lasted for almost 30 seconds. Killian flew into the sky and in a bright blue explosion, ascended to a higher plan of existence. He became omnipresent across the multiverse. All seeing. But he made sure that he would always be focused on his family. He was watching everything happen. Frostbite talking to his son, his family mourning him, and everything in between and beyond.

This is where I belong.

"I got glowy, sparkle guy!" Naja said flying towards Photon. She could feel the energy coming off of the man. "I really hope you're tougher than the rest of these guys." She said.

"You'll find that I'm pretty strong." He replied catching Naja, which slid him back across the ground. "Oh... I can see that. You're a strong one... A really strong one. You and the hybrid. Now I see why the Great Ultron wanted you two. You're a threat to him. So I'm going to take you two someplace where you're not a threat." He said and shrank both Naja and Atiala down to the microverse so that not only would they be a far smaller threat to Ultron, literally, so that he could gauge just how powerful they were. "Welcome to the Microverse. Those planets you see are molecules."

"So we're tiny?" She smiled. "I'm not exactly sure of the size of what a million exploding suns looks like. But your face is going to find out." She said and her red eyes glowed bright gold instead as she smashed into Photon, which sent the crashing and smashing through the Microverse. "I've never got to use this much power before! If I'm getting a bit too rough, just let me know!" She shouted letting out a massive energy wave, which Photon countered with his own equally powerful one.

"I don't think so. Not gonna lie to you, for a lower lifeform, you're pretty strong. You're a Terran, most Terrans can't do what you're doing."

"Not yet anyways. Just you wait." She said and they both intensified their energy blasts so that it was visible to those who weren't as small as them. The glow being roughly the size of a baseball.

Killian

"More or less. It's something that wasn't supposed to happen for another few years." He said, an ethereal version of him in his Speed Demon outfit. "You see me as you do, because your mind cannot perceive my true form. This form is more comfortable and pleasing to your eyes as well as simple. I am everywhere, Asumar. I know everything, and I finally have peace. I can finally slow down. It's my true calling. I'm watching a fantastic battle happening on the Kree Homeworld of Hala. Alex's lover is fighting a cosmic Kree in a universe invisible to most eyes. Arctico just learned that Frost is his father." He explained. "I don't have to do anything anymore. So I'm just going to watch things unfold as they do. Though Naja and her friend Kylie were having a conversation about whether or not he was a peeping tom. He's not. I checked."

"Thanks... I don't know your name. Sorry about that." She replied to Atalia and stopped the beam struggle with Photon.

"Okay. So you're a little stronger than I was led to believe. That's fine. It'll make you that much more useful to Ultron!" He shouted, charging at Naja.

"Like I'd serve an overgrown toaster!" She replied, charging at him. They smashed into eachother, the force pushing several molecules away from the epicenter of their impact. "Holy crap, you're a little stronger than I thought." She said as Photon began to push her back a bit.

"Thank you. Come on. I'm sure Ultron'll let you keep your free will. Most of it at least."

"I'll pass... And." He said kicking him in the gut, which had less of an impact than she hoped it would, but it was enough to knock him into one of the planet sized molecules. "Did that even hurt?" She asked.

"Not really, no. Not too many people hit me like that. Then again, most people don't live that long." Photon said, charging large amounts of his solar energies into his hands, Naja did the same with her own type of energy. "But it's nice to actually have to try once in awhile." And with that, they kept smashing into eachother, knocking the other away, only to have them come back and hit them again, their beams were blocked by eachother's midway to hitting the other. "You know that I'm gonna win eventually, right? Sure you're strong. Almost as strong as me. Which is no joke. We're outputting enough juice to fry a chunk of the galaxy. But you're not as skilled. You don't use this much power very often, do you?"

"Nope. Don't need this much more often than not. A little bit is enough to make me as strong as a Kryptonian. This much? I don't know how strong I am."

"Eh. Above average for sure. Would kill to see you beat up Thanos. Or Darkseid. He's not much better. We can probably do it once you're inside the collective."

"That is the most roundabout way of asking for a date that I've ever heard. And I've beaten Darkseid's daughter up. And for the record." She said grabbing a blow that he threw, twisting him around and slamming both her feet into his back. "I'm already in a relationship."

"It likely never will. When my son and the other Flashes pass away, I will select a new champion to wield it's power." He explained. "Asumar, I never thought of you as an enemy. If I did, you'd be dead. Such is the life of a human. Their span so short, but that just means they burn so much hotter." He said sitting cross legged in the air. "I suppose that's what happens when you gaze into infinity. You realize that everything is so... Worthless. felt the same way when I used the Infinity Gauntlet and looked to my future. I saw that I was fated to become this. I didn't want my destiny. But as I learned, even the fastest man in the universe can't out run destiny. It's a big universe out there. With powerful beings that eclipse you, I can understand how you feel. But take my word for it. Being small isn't a bad thing. I got big, and I made enemies that no one wants to have."

"Well. Let me ask you this, are your loved ones still alive?" He asked. He already knew the answer, but it was more to make a point. "The answer is yes. Your son is very much alive. As is your brother. So far, I'd say that you're doing just fine. It's a big burden, you feel small and weak. But don't make mountains out of molehills. You have friends and allies who are more than happy to help you if you need it. Everyone has a purpose Asumar. Some things just work out the way they do. But you don't need to be stronger than me. You shouldn't try to be like me, you should try to be more like you. We're different people. With different lives and parts in the universe. Besides, I'm not exactly a great role model. I've made mistakes. Lots of them that have gotten me and other people I love hurt and killed."

"You're going to make mistakes Asumar. Everyone does. I was never perfect. I've made big mistakes. Painful ones. I've been selfish, cowardly, murderous, egotistical, and downright insane. More than once." He snickered. "I'm not proud of it. Besides. So far, you've taken better care of your son than I have. I had to leave my son with his mother because I had to become this. You still have your son. You can still go over, and hug him and train with him and all that stuff. Me? I can't do that. I can't ever do that again."

"Trust me Asumar. You really don't. There are two reasons. One. More often than not, it drives that person insane. It's happened to many people. Myself included. And two, your future isn't like mine. There are so many paths you could take to decided the future, that what you see might not actually be that future. Plus it leads to paradoxes. And trust me. Those are not fun. Just let it unfold as it should. Who knows, maybe I wasn't supposed to become this, but since I saw that I was supposed to, I did. It's confusing. I know. But take my word for it when I say you're better off seeing things as they come. Time is a fickle mistress. It's complicated and so easy to break."

"I've already told most people who it's relevant. Benefit of being Omnipresent. The other Flashes know, my city knows, my wife and son know. My home city is building a statue of me. The Flashes dedicated a section of their museum to me. My son is likely to carry on the mantle. Can't say I'll be forgotten that easily. There'll always be a Speed Force Avatar. I'll make sure of that. Right now, I've given it's power to several more primitive races who are in dire need of a champion. I might not be Speed Demon anymore. But that's not going to stop me from helping people."

"Oh, oh! My turn! And err... my name's Atiala. Nice to meet you." That was a really odd conversation. Gives new meaning to the saying "shoot first, ask questions later". Well, kind of. Nomally I wouldn't even try to fight people as strong as these two, but I feel unnaturally strong at this moment, and I should use that to my advantage. I suspect the type of energy that Photon is using is an important part of it. Who knows at this point.

Naja flinged Photon away whle constantly chatting like they're buddies of some sort, and I moved into chase after the body. It didn't move that fast, maybe not even at the speed of light (though close), so I caught up almist immediately and sticked out my right knee for the foe to stop by hittibg it. Almost immediately I charged a trememdous amount of energy in my left hand, then proceeded to blast Photon with it ina volley of close-up energy blasts.

"Likewise. I'm Naja. The weird shiny guy is Photon. He's a Kree, and a huge weirdo." She said helping Atiala bombard him. "He kept calling you a hybrid, of what exactly?"

"She's part Kryptonian, part Saiyan." Photon said from behind the two women. "Has the potential to be one of the most powerful beings in the universe. You too. And you're both women. I wonder if that means something... Not in a cosmic way, I'd know. So far you both are just lucky."

"Would you mind telling me how you know all of this stuff?"

"Cause I'm almost omniscient." He replied and hit Naja across the the face with enough force to send her crashing into one of the many planet sized molecules, which sent it crashing into several others. "She's got a hard jaw. I'll give her that. Ultron would make great use of you both. So let's be civil about this and let him do his thing? Though I sense I'm going to have to knock you out first. Which is fine. Just delaying the inevitable. " He said firing a beam point blank at her.

"Son of a... Ow. Alex wasn't kidding. This guy hits like a damned Kryptonian truck." Naja muttered as Atalia smacked Photon away. "Thanks. It's cool to see someone else who can take a punch."

"I'll take that as a compliment." He replied already having recovered from the hybrid's assualt. "Yeah... I leave myself open a few times. Then again, you're not practically omniscient. So much information to process at one time-" Naja cut him off with an uppercut and a blast of her eye beams.

"Some brain damage'll fix that right up." Naja sneered and threw another blow, which Photon countered with his own blow. The force from the two striking each other with such tremendous force was causing the molecules to start cracking every so slightly. When Photon hit Naja in the face, she could feel her bones cracking and force spreading throughout her body. She hit Photon back with the same force but couldn't tell whether or not she was actually doing anything other than sending the man back a little ways. He didn't seemed to be bothered by her attacks much at all. A quick scan revealed that Photon wasn't like her with flesh and blood and all the other goodies that come with being a living being. Photon was made of pure energy.

Which was going to be a slight problem.

Alex

He decided to let Naja do her own thing. She was more than capable of taking care of herself. After all, she was every bit as strong as he used to be. Which he missed. The strength and power of a million exploding suns. "I guess it's true what they say. You never know what you have until it's gone." He pondered a moment, remembering Strange telling him about various artifacts to look out for during his (mis)adventures. The ones that stuck out the most were the Norn Stones. Asgardian Magic rocks capable of boosting magic and other powers. That would make his life far more interesting. He was scared for the first time in his life.

His magic wasn't as good as Strange's. Not by a long shot. On top of that, he wasn't invulnerable anymore, it was so easy for him to get hurt. As noted when he stubbed his toe for the first time and cursed the coffee table causing it's legs to melt whenever his feet came anywhere near it. Before he could just charge right into danger head first and get out with minimal effort.

Being human is terrifying. How do these people do it?

The two continued slugging it out, at least until Photon stopped allowing Naja to hit him against another molecule and wale on him until he grabbed both of her hands. "Alright. That's enough. We can stop now. Besides, we kept this up for much longer and we would have nuked the surface of Hala. Unlike us three, the Kree aren't immune to the effect of radiation and cancer." He let Naja go. "Ultron isn't controlling me anymore. Which means-"

"We're going to kick his ass... Assuming you grow us back to normal."

"Working on it..." He said growing himself and the two women back to normal size just in time to see something being constructed. "I thought they blew that up?" He said referring to the spire until he got a sudden realization. "Oh. That is slightly... I'm not sure. Better or worse."

Earth

Loki wanted to usurp Asgard, but tricking Valka was even harder than tricking Odin. That, and the fact that she is far less patient with him than Odin was. She was out for blood, his blood. In his mind, if blood is what she wanted, blood she shall have. Midgardians were wily and dangerous for being weaker than Asgardians. Most of them couldn't even do basic magic. Which made it all too easy for him to manipulate them. One in particular, Osborn. His mind was a mess. Supposedly reformed and on the side of good. Not for long. All it took was a little push and tug here and there and the evil part of him, the Green Goblin was back. In a way. less crazy, but just as angry.

He gathered his Dark Avengers, showing a video Loki had created of Asgardians assaulting the Earth, not just to them, but to every news media outlet that would have it. In a matter of minutes the entire United States was in an uproar about it. Norman assured them that he had his best on on the case for retaliation.

Killian

"It's a big universe Asumar." He said. "Larger than you think. There's lots of people out there. Good and bad. A word to the wise. I would stay out of Asgard for then next few hours. Trust me, with what's happening there, mortal men will falter. But it's going to be interesting to watch to be certain." He said and vanished to watch the upcoming war on Asgard. "This place just can't catch a break can it?" He asked and looked up to the sky just as Valka left. "And so it begins..."

Robert smashed into the golden city and wiped out several blocks worth. Without Valka there to defend it, there was nothing to stop the void from tearing the city apart while Osborn and the rest of his Dark Avengers made their way to Oklahoma to "help" Sentry despite most of them knowing he's more powerful than all of them put together. But Sentry was losing himself. It wouldn't be long before the much more terrifying Void took control.

Alex

Bored at his apartment, he decided to make something to eat while the TV was on. Alex made all sorts of random foods that he could store for later. Ones that the expiration date was well away from when he made it. He quickly began to realize that being human wasn't so bad. He could smell the aroma of the food he was making. Rice, chicken, pizza. Sure minor burns happened while he was cooking, but healing magic wasn't that hard when the wounds were minor. That, and he wanted to eat with Naja whenever she got back from Hala.

Thor and Sentry went at it. Sentry slamming Thor through Asgard onto the ground below. "Fiend! What has Asgard done to deserve your ire?" Thor demanded but received no answer from the Sentry. "Fine, if this is what you wish, then I will smite you with all the power at my disposal!" He shouted and clobbered Sentry in his gut with Mjolnir. Though all this did was knock him back about 20 feet. "Odin's eye..."

Alex was watch TV when all the channels began to broadcast the fight between Asgard and a group of heroes, one of whom looked just like he used to. "What the hell?" He muttered and used his magic to finish the dishes and put the food in the microwave for later. They played the video the showed Asgardians attacking various places on Earth, but upon using his magic, he found that it was merely an illusion. It wasn't real. But who would want to attack Asgard, and also has the skill to make that kind of illusion? Only one name crossed his mind.

Loki.

Sentry looked to get covered in the molten Uru, what came out of his mouth was more of an unholy screech of pain rather than a human one. Afterward, the Uru slid off and he was no worse for wear, but his already fragile mental state was push over the edge and thus began to transform into the Void.

Alex was watching this from the news. "No. No one besmirches my name except me! Plus, I don't even look like that anymore." He said and teleported to Asgard, having shielded himself beforehand. Safety first after all. He saw Valka fighting the impostor and tried to seal him off in a powerful magic barrier while floating next to her. "Valka, it's a long story, but I lost my powers and that's not me." He said having to strain himself to keep the shield off. "But who or whatever he is... He's just as strong!" Alex said just as his barrier began to crack and break apart. "I use magic now. I'm okay at it. But we need to waste this guy yesterday. Asgard was framed. Loki is responsible for this. I assume."

She turned her attention to him, regaining the mass in her metal hand. "Then you have my apologies, Alexander, I did not know. Just as strong as you? Then the two of us, together, should be able to take him. Magic? Then I might have something for you, the Norn Stones. They are in the Vault, and should enhance your magic powers. You may borrow them for this battle, and, if thou wishes to keep then, we shall talk. Loki? I was about to partake of a hunt, to slay him. He will taste my wrath, that, I swear. Too long have we forgiven him, it is time for Loki's meddling and attacks to end. Forever." Valka said fiercely.

"Go and retrieve the Norn Stones, the Destroyer will not attack thee as you have my permission. Hurry," she said, eyeing Sentry's transformation into Void, "I shall hold him to the best of my ability." she said, backing up Alex's shield with her own layer of the Valkaforce.

"Speak of the devil, right? I was just going to ask you about those. We can work out a deal later... This guy might actually be stronger than I used to be... Which is slightly concerning. Maybe I can..." He said and tried to look into the man's mind only to have black lightning arc around his head and shock the daylights out of him. "GRAH! Son of a bitch! This guy's mind is like a flaming bear trap covered in three layers of razor wire, guarded by a battalion of hydras. I'll be right back! Hold him off!" He said and used to magic to boost his running speed as much as he could and made it to the vault. The Destroyer intimidated him a bit since the one time he fought it, he wasn't doing so well.

But it wasn't after him. Valka made it so it saw him as an ally. Which was good. It let him into the vault only for him to find pretty much nothing. "Uh oh... This isn't good..." He decided to send a telepathic message to Valka to inform her. Hey! They're not here! Someone must have nabbed them. Plan B! Who looks like the one in charge?! We find him and make him call it off!

Loki already had them and was watching as the fight took place. Though the monster Osborn had brought slightly concerned him. IT was reckless, powerful and sinister to the degree where even he was wary.

Remind me to gut him when we find him. Or better yet. Since he's probably better at magic than me, you do it. He said and noticed Osborn fighting and commanding. Alex was about to rip his armor off with his magic, bit then he got clobbered by Valka's, and crashed into the ground. Alex warped himself over there, used his magic to strip Osborn of his Iron Patriot armor only for him to fall flat on his face crying and terrified. "Seriously?! You attacked ASGARD? How stupid are you? Call this crap off right now before Valka gets over here and uses your corpse for target practice."

Norman looked at Alex deathly afraid, of what he was about to unleash upon the world. "NOW ROBERT! DON'T LET THE MONSTERS WIN! BRING IT ALL DOWN!" He shouted only to have Alex hit him in the stomach. Norman grabbed his gut and watched from the ground well away from Asgard what was happening. "It's too late..."

Sentry, who was beating the snot out of Thor, dropped him and smashed through the base of Asgard at insane speeds and brought the Golden city to a pile of rubble.

I'm not going to gut him. Valka grunted. I'm going to strip him of his title, the ability to speak, and then, I'll kill him. Valka stated darkly, glaring at Osborn, already planning what she would do to him. Her eyes widening as Sentry smashed into the heart of Asgard, Valka snapping her fingers and bathing every Asgardian in the Valkaforce. Some would have severe bones, but most of them would survive. Her city however did not. She had just built it, and now, it was gone. Thanks to that Midgardian. Her body and eyes glowed as she stared into Osborn's soul. "Hold him. I shall deal with him after this Robert." She called to Thor, "Mjolnir!" the Odinson understanding and tossing her his Mjolnir. She stared at the two Mjolnirs in her hands for a moment before bellowing out to the Asgardians. "Go to the fringes of the city, Asgardians! I know not how much power this will take." Seeing Sentry/Void beginning to stand up, she dropped the two Mjolnirs, lifting Gungnir. And then she hurled Gungnir at him, knowing that her aim was true. And then she was gone in a flash, arriving just after Gungnir, slamming the Mjolnirs into the sides of his head. "You destroyed my city. And for that, I will have my vengeance," Valka snarled, blasting the Valkaforce at him and then, throwing the hammers aside, fighting him with her fists only, every punch of hers making the ground tremble and shake.

That'll work too."You're in so much trouble Osborn." He said and just as Valka went after Sentry, both the Justice League and Avengers showed up. "Better late than never I suppose." He muttered as Superman landed. "Long story, but the short version is, he and Loki started a freaking war with Asgard and..." He motioned to the city. "That."

Osborn watched as Valka smashed Robert's head with both of her hammers, seemingly killing the golden man. "No... He can't die..."

"Really?" Alex asked. "Cause that looks pretty dead to me."

"That's not what I meant..." He said quietly. "He can't be stopped. He's the Angel of Death..." Osborn then went on saying "Angel of death, we're all going to die" over and over again. Alex was about to hit him again until Superman grabbed his arm, preventing him from doing so.

"What's he talking about? Who's the Angel of Death?" Superman asked the quivering Osborn. The little frightened man looked up to the Man of Steel and then to the sky with a look of pure terror.

"That." He pointed to the black and yellow sky. "Is the Angel of Death." Sentry was supposed to have been killed by Valka, but that didn't stop the Void.

"Take him down!" Superman shouted.

"Avengers, Assemble!" Captain America shouted. Both the groups that had the ability to fly, or some form of ranged attack all converged on the Void.

"No." The Void said flatly and blasted the entire group aside seemingly without any true effort on his part.

Loki watched everything. Father... I'm sorry... He said falling to his knees at the destruction that had been caused by the Void. I... I never wanted this to happen. He said and looked at the Norn Stones. "MONSTER!" He shouted gaining the Void's attention. Not that it was a good thing. "You shall know the wrath of-" He was cut off by the Void swatting him with enough force to embed him into the ground.

"You and your magic rocks. This is your fault Loki. You and Osborn killed my wife. And now I'm going to kill everyone. Great job. You brought this on yourselves." The Void said and was about to smash the rocks into powder, but Flash grabbed them before he got the chance and force them into Alex's hands.

"Loki'stoastfigurethemoutbeforewealldie!" Barry said almost too fast for Alex to comprehend and went right back to helping fight the Void.

Alex looked at the rocks and really didn't know what he was doing. They certainly were powerful. He could feel it radiating from within the stones. He had to figure them out before the Void noticed him and did what he did to Loki. Asgardians were a lot tougher than humans. That didn't really make him confident about his chances if the Void did see him.

Alex watched hoping that Alastir would have a chance against the Void. It didn't take long to see his hopes dashed as the Void literally tore the god in half. "Yeah... I'm feeling a little outgunned here..." Turing his attention to the stones. "Please work." He said and channeled his magic into the stones, which in turn spread their power to all of the heroes fighting the Void. Boosting all of the strength substantially, as well as healing their wounds. "Yes! Hit him, smash him, crush him, kill him, now!" Alex shouted.

Thor threw Mjolnir straight through the monster, followed by Cap throwing his shield and slicing off several of his tendrils. Superman blasted him with his heat vision followed by the Flash and everyone else unloading onto Void with everything the Norn stones were giving them. "No... Something is wrong here. You're not playing fair." The Void replied having already healed from the attacks they were hitting him and turning his attention to Alex. "Magic rocks? No, we'll be having none of that nonsense." Void then sent his infini-tendrils after Alex, who put up a barrier.

He was scared. The barrier was holding, but it was draining his energy quite quickly. "Guys! Hit him now with everything! Quick! I can't hold him back forever!" He said as his barrier began to crack. Something was different though. Normally he's on the outside, fighting the big bad monster. Fearless because he was invulnerable. He was genuinely afraid for the first time in his life. Because for the first time in his life, he actually had the threat of death over his head. If he failed, or they failed, he would die.

Superman decided to use his Super Flare, Thor charged up as much lightning as he could muster and prepared to unleash it on the Void.

Naja

Naja helped finish off Ultron, hopefully once and for all with a bright blast. "Wow... That was like. Awesome. Minus the death and stuff. So..." She said and kicked a few rocks around. "Things are kinda... Broken. What do we do now? I'm sorry. This is my first real thing as a Superhero. So I'm a little lost. Do we just go home?"

Suddenly, as Valka Alastir, Superman and Thor's attacks all converged on the Void, there was blinding bright light, the tendrils retracted from Alex's barrier. At the center of the attack laid a rather sad looking man. Thor and Alex floated over to him. He looked at the two men. "Did... Did I do this?" He asked sheepishly.

Alex hesitated. "Yes. Yes you did Robert."

He looked down at the ground. "Kill me..."

"We're not going to kill you. We're going to get you help. We can fix-" Alex said only to be interrupted by Robert who eyes had gone black and red.

"Why aren't you listening to me?!" He shouted transforming back into the Void. "KILL ME!" He screeched, with his massive tendrils grabbing anyone in range, and a massive blast knocking everyone else away, but Thor got one final lightning bolt on him before he finished transforming, reducing the Sentry to a charred corpse. For good.

Alex fell to the ground and looked at the destruction caused by Loki and Osborn tampering with forces beyond their control. "That... That could've gone worse. Let's not mince words, it could've gone better." He said and looked at Sentry's body. "At the very least, he deserves a proper burial. This wasn't his fault." Alex said and was about to move when Thor stopped him.

"I shall return." The Thunderer said, wrapping the man in his cape, flying him to the sun, and letting gravity and superheated plasma take care of the rest before returning to Earth.

"I don't think anyone is going to argue with you. Any objections?" Alex asked. Both the Avengers and Justice League left Osborn to his fate without saying a word. "I'll probably keep them until I get better at Magic. Sometimes the defenders need defending Valka. If you need help. We're here to help. Don't be afraid to ask." He said putting the stones in his pockets. "Now if you'll excuse me. I'm going to go take a nap." He said and teleported himself home in a flash and collapsed on the couch. He was new to exhaustion. It used to be that he could stay up for years without needing a rest. Now he sleeps and dreams. Which wasn't a bad thing. He found himself separated from humanity, now he was very much a part of it.

Naja decided to take her leave and fly home by herself. Flying through space was so much fun for her. With her powerful senses she could see things that normal people couldn't. She was a few lightyears from Earth and decided to make a pit stop. She wanted something to remember her trip by. As is defeating Ultron wasn't a big enough memory. While flying over the planet. She found a plant the she thought looked pretty, dug it up, and put a bubble around it so keep it from getting damaged in the last leg of her journey. She finally made it to Earth, bought a flower pot, and went back to her apartment where she saw Alex asleep on the couch covered in dust, bruises, and his robe torn in many different places. "Come on Sleepyhead. Wake up." She said and shook him a bit.

He murmured and woke up to see Naja putting the plant on the window sill. "Hey Naja... I had a really interesting day. How was space?"

"Oh, so you weren't spying on me the whole time?" She teased.

"Naw. Was busy helping defend Asgard from something called the Void, and Norman Osborn."

"Cool. I helped defeat Ultron."

"Took a souvenir? I got magic rocks."

"I got a flower. Hungry?"

"Starving. By the way. We should get you a costume."

"Yeah... I'll draw up some designs after dinner."

"Cool. I can make it for you."

"Since when were you good at sewing?"

"Since I can't sew, but know magic. Which is better."
