Irredeemable: Part 2

Damien slowly walked to his dead father. "Oh, don't feel too bad kid. There's a good reason I took him out first. I wouldn't worry too much. You'll be joining him here in a minute or so." He said, ruffled the kid's hair, and blasted the support beams, dropping the entire batcave on itself. After that, Xander went quiet to watch the aftermath. A memorial, and an announcement that both the Avengers and Justice League would be working together to take Xander down. Not one of them commented on how he used to be a good person. Not one mentioned the fact that he singlehandedly stopped an alien invasion. "Yeah... Right." He said and smashed the television. "And I'm the Queen of England." He flew into space and decided that he was gonna do some ironic punishments.

He flew to the asteroid belt, used his molecular powers to grab as many of the ones filled with Vibranium as he cared to and once he got to Earth's orbit, he hurled them like projectiles from a railgun... Directly at the nation of Wakanda. Both teams arrived as soon as they could, but it was too late. Over 90% of the country had been decimated. They saw Xander, sitting on the highest pile of rubble, holding the head of it's king like it were a trophy. "See? This is what happens when you're too slow. People die." He said and dropped the severed head. Several members of the team vomited. It was a bloodbath. "Tell you what. You all can choose which country I blow up next. Here are the choices-"

"BASTARD!" Superman shouted and smashed into Xander, sending them both into the ground as Superman gave him the the beatdown so intense, despite the fight taking place underground, it felt like an Earthquake. "You murdered THOUSANDS! And you have that stupid smile on your face! How can you do this and not feel anything!? You're nothing but a damned MONSTER! I'm going to- GAK!" He was interrupted by Xander grabbing him and choking him.

"Ya wanna know what?" He asked as the cuts and bruises from Superman's assault healed up. "Because every day, I went out there and saved lives. Lots of em. We fought side by side together. Do I get a thank you? Do I get a parade? NO!" He said and hit the Man of Steel with enough force to break several of his ribs. "It's all Superman this... Thor that. I'M SICK OF IT! You all treat me like I'm some sort of second class citizen! And when I finally do something that people know is me, YOU ALL WANT TO TAKE ME DOWN! NO MORE! Do you understand me?! NO MORE!" He said returning Superman's assault with one of equal intensity. By the time they got back to the surface, Superman was a beaten, bloody, unconscious mess.

Thor struck next, throwing Mjolnir full force, knocking the bright golden man right off of Superman. "Enough villain! You have taken thousands of lives! I will not allow you to continue on your rampage!" He said as Mjolnir flew back to his hand. "I thought you as our ally! But I see now that it was just a clever ruse." He said and as Xander started getting back on his feet, Thor bombarded him with lightning. Blast after blast. "I am the God of Thunder! You may be powerful, but you are still a mortal!" He boasted, the rest of the group pitching in to help as well. Iron man, Green Lantern, anyone who had an ability to attack at a distance, hammered Xander with everything they had. "Submit! Face your punishment like a man!" He said and they stopped.

Xander was on his knees, his costume was in tatters, and he was missing a decent portion of his flesh. Thor walked up to him. "So..." Xander said weakly. "Ya want me to give up? But I'm just getting warmed up!" He said and Thor tried to strike him down with Mjolnir, only to have Xander catch it. "Huh... The spell only works if you're not holding it. Interesting." He said and using his Molecular powers. He crumbled the magic hammer into dust and sent the God of Thunder through the nearest mountain range with a single blow. "Heh heh heh... You can run now if you want. Or stay and die. Your choice."

Illica Falki wrote:The shipment arrived several hours prior to the arrival of the police scouts arriving at the dock, enough time that the place was mostly cleared, the only indicator that the dock was used by the gunrunners was that the boat was still there, and a gift was left by the Nightraven for the cops. In a small unopened crate, she wired a grenade to the lid so the pin would be pulled upon the police opening the crate. Just to add a bit of flare, she left a bunch of Raven feathers on top of the crate.
Meanwhile one of the undercover cops arriving at the storehouse arrives just in time to see the transport van leave the area, seemingly not noticing the cops. Nightraven, who steps out later, seems to instantly pick out the undercover police casing the storehouse. Nightraven meanwhile was just leaving through another exit on the other side of the building when one of the gang members called her. "There's a Car outside, looks like Police, They probably know this is the drop" the goon says, before immediately hanging up, not giving her time to even respond. Nightravens only response is to sigh, before heading back in and sneaking into an over-watch location to find the car the gangsters were talking about. It's not that hard to spot, and she quickly takes aim with her sniper rifle to shoot the cop should they pick up their radio or otherwise try to notify their superiors.
Technically she could just leave, her contract was to guard the weapon shipment until it arrived in Gotham, which it has, she just didn't want Cobblepot to throw out her contract because the weapons were captured before they could be used by his gang.

"Johnny said that he saw some guys in the area. A few were locals, but some of 'em looked Bludhaven." The first of the two undercover cops said offhand to the other as they arrived at the location.
"Bludhaven? Don't Batman have a Robin there?" The second one glanced over.
"Batman? Ain't he dead right now? I heard the Joker finally put him out."
"Nah, they found 'em alive. It's Harley and Dent who are dead."
"Not for long."
The other cop's response went unheard in the sniper fire that suddenly descended upon them. "What the hell!" The second cop scowled as the two ducked behind the car. "Call this-"

"No."

A thick fog suddenly filled the area, obscuring the vision of any attackers as well as the police. "Told ya!" The first officer laughed. "A Bat!"
"Yes." The feminine voice came once more, this time from a figure in front of the two. They stared in awe.
"Th-The Black Bat!?"

Cassandra Cain smirked, turning towards the attacker and equipping her utility goggles, allowing her to see through the fog. Where are you..?

Nightraven cursed quietly to herself, before dropping out of her over watch position and into some actual cover. Whoever this new hero is they actually seem to know what they're doing, which is only further reinforced when one of the cops yells out the new comers name, 'Shit, an actual bat'.
She Holsters her rifle and draws one of her handguns in one hand and her sword in the other, before pressing herself up against the cover. She knows that the Bat-Family is infamous for being able to take out entire gangs of armed thugs from the shadows. Deciding Discretion is the better part of Valor, Nightraven slowly starts sneaking away, aiming to get out of the fight before it gets any bigger then it already is. She doesn't need to stay to guard the area after all and quarter of a million for a bounty won't mean anything in Blackgate...

Glacia had to regain the offensive, even if she was hurting. Swiftly she attacked from a new angle, swiping with her hands, using her vacuum powers to make her chops more like the chops of a sword by trapping air. She then prepared a massive gust of air which people's her out of combat and back into the shadows.

Hit and run. I'll use my powers to strike and the retreat back into darkness. With some luck and I could knock out the Sayain. The only problem is the demon... She hasn't done anything yet...

Myosai might not have been able to see Glacia, yet, her energy signature was giving away her position like a red flare to "hit me!"

Keeping one hand on her sword sheath, Myosai summoned a fuchsia-colored sphere of ki, holding it out in front of her face as she frowned. Glacia's energy signature was warping in and out, hard for her to find an exact location of where she was.

Squinting, Myosai tossed the sphere of Energy at a mass of shadows in a corner, watching as the sphere split up into several smaller fragments, lighting up the area like some sort of fireworks as tiny explosions and flashes of light peppered the corner of the room.

Lucky shot. Glacia was there like a coward, she could just tell. Not exactly sure if she was there, but this close up? She was pretty solid this was her.

Her sword drew from her sheath and she charged, shouting a battle cry as she rushed into the shadows.

The thing about battle cries, they let your opponent know your attacking.

Taking advantage of this, Glacia dodged the blow. Then she decided to test something. She swiftly reduced the temperature of the area sharply and then created a very strong vacuum to trap the pink demon there. Though it likely wouldn’t hold for long, it would hold long enough for the cold to take an effect and hopefully cause her limbs to stiffen and freeze. With any luck, she’ll be able to focus mostly on Hiroshi.

Valka looked at him curiously and then shrugged. "That simply was to serve as a demonstration, but if, you wish to try again, " Valka said, summoning a shield and drawing out Mjolnir, keeping her feet firmly planted. Those two, the sword and the shield, served best to serve against Mjolnir, being able to block with the shield and then counterattack. Then, looking at her sword again, she realized that she did not want to slice Otis into several pieces, and put an enchantment on the sharp edges, before nodding to him to begin.

Hearing Mars' kind words, Kirisvala simply smiled at him for another moment, before simply looking back down at her clasped claws, her smile dying down slightly but still present as she idly immersed herself in her thoughts, of which she had many that she was yet to sort out. However, hearing Mars' voice, she looked up to hear him speak once again, this time hearing him ask about her homeworld, about the place she lived in before coming to Earth.

"No, you didn't." She agreed softly, shaking her head and then looking straight ahead, her smile seeming even more distant now as she stared at something that was not quite there, fidgetting a little with her claws as she gathered her thoughts. "As you know, I'm from the planet Hadrimmelis." She began, recalling how Mars and Rocket had known exactly where she had come from the first time they had met her. "It's... much hotter than Earth, for starters." She chuckled lightly before continuing. "I lived in the mountain range that belonged to my clan, the Wynn clan. We lived in metal towers atop the highest peaks, which were surrounded by all sorts of giant beasts and curious fauna, and on the foot of one of the mountains was the city of Annriven, full of crystal spires and surrounded by lakes of bubbling magma." She said.

She then looked at Mars. "It's a very beautiful city. I'd love to show you, someday." She commented, before looking ahead once again.

"Living in the Wynn mountains was..." The Hadrian girl trailed off, mulling over her following words, before sighing and shaking her head.

"It was pretty awful, to be honest." She said to Mars with a sheepish expression on her face, her smile now tinted with pain. "Not because of the place, no; the mountains were nice enough and I loved going out to play with the monsters. It was awful because... because of my family. They were always plotting against the Eternal Queen, always absorbed in their own silly schemes. They taught me magic only so that I would be useful in their plans, and when I didn't want to take them seriously, they started being mean to me, yelling at me, saying that I was throwing my talent away." She continued, still fidgetting with her claws. "That wasn't even the worst, though. Eventually they just gave up and started ignoring me. I essentially stopped existing to them, to my own family. Not long after that I left." She concluded, knowing that Mars could guess the rest of the story.

"That's why I stayed here. I like Earth. It's... new. It's nothing like the Wynn mountains, and the people here are nothing like my clan." She said, looking back up at her friend. Her smile had suddenly regained all of its initial radiance. "It's why I like you too, Mars, you and the others. You think I'm dumb, but... you don't mind. You're okay with it, you don't try to change me, or say that I'm a waste of talent, even though I'm not like you."

Vera wasn't any more comfortable about the labs then Xyri, and without her helmet on it's not that hard to notice her concern. After breaking out of one, a Science lab is the last place she wants to visit. "Seems like it" She says, nodding to Xyri, before bringing her attention back to the Computer, "ADAM, is there anything else you can give us, What was stolen? Was there anything connecting the locations? Any ideas where he might attack next?" She'd rather have more information before they move out, as right now the extent of information on the robberies isn't much to go on.

Xyri frowned slightly. It suddenly clicked in her mind. "I know someplace we can start." Spoke Xyri. "The most advanced lab in the city is... Hiemdyne. They might end up striking there next." She remarked. She remembered something about that being said of the place when she was born. It was in a haze. She wasn't even sure how she remembered the name all of a sudden.

"MISS XYIXIA WOULD BE CORRECT IN THAT ASSERTION. HIEMDYNE STOCKS ARE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH AND THEY ARE SUPPOSEDLY WORKING ON GROUNDBREAKING WORK." ADAM spoke. "IN ADDITION, I HAVE PICKED UP RUMOURS THAT IT MAY BE GRODDS NEXT TARGET."

Craig smiled. "Damned right it was. You better come visit sometime, Charles," he whispered. "And if you ever need me, do call." Turning towards, Hadrimmelis, he smiled once more. "I think I have just the right thing, I've been meaning to form a refuge for those new or hated by humanity, sadly. You have my word, my lady, they shall be safe. He looked at his hands as Hadrimmelis said that line of the poem his mother had taught him. "I don't suppose you met my mother, she often said the same thing. But this time, I think it turned at very well, that a good man went to war. His eyes widened at the statement about Etla, a reminiscent smile growing on his face. "Really? I'll be sure to tell her that."

"And as for my gifts," Craig said, as he pulled out the Orb of Cognition, "Orb, multiply." The Orb, humming a bit, split into three identical versions of itself, Craig handing one to Hadrimmelis, Manifest and Valka. "The Orb of Cognition, I call it. For you, Hadrimmelis, I doubt that there are many alien races that you do not know, but I have not met one yet that the Orb does not. The Orb also contains my consciousness, and if you ever want to chat, just say my name. You can code it to your own DNA so that you and you alone may use it with a drop of blood in the whole. It also contains several Earth movies and TV shows that I think you'll enjoy.

"Manifest, your Orb has the same functions as well, along with some different ones. You can change its color, decrease its size, and most importantly, upload the weapon designs that you have in your head to it. I know you have gained a lot of new ones, and if you ever fear that you might forget some, you can put them on the Orb to make sure that never happens."

"And Valka, the Orb will be able to alert you of events on Earth, and also contains some Midgardian movies and TV shows as well. It has some other features, but figuring them out is half the fun."

Valka looked upon all of this, cradling the gifts she had been given, sniffling a little. Craig looked at her with a small smile, "Valka, are you crying?!" he asked.

She looked up indignantly, "Asgardians do not cry! The All-Mother does not cry!...," leaving a short pause before she admitted, "A little yes. It has been an honor, Craig, Manifest and Hadrimmelis. You do me too much honor. As for my own gifts," she poked a finger in the ground, slowly drawing up a diamond deep from the surface of the Earth. From there, she murmured over it a bit, her hands glowing, before she summoned a sword and put one of the shards in it and handed it to Manifest. "Here, my friend. An uru sword, that can be changed into any melee weapon as you please. The diamond shard can be extracted easily. Tap it once, when extracted, and I will bring food and cheer and song. Tap twice, and I will bring my sword. Tap thrice and I will bring an army of Asgardians. Also, if you twist the top, a fire springs out. It will never go out, not even in water or in the vacuum of space. We all must walk dark paths at some point, and I, All-Mother have walked many of those and I fear I will walk another quite soon. Let this be a lamp to you in dark places, when all other things go dark."

She accepted the orb, grinning, already imagining binging on movies with Thor and Sif while eating PopTarts. "The same diamond goes to you, Craig, with the same flame. Though, if you put your lips to it, you will taste elderberry wine, the same wine that had a refreshing effect upon you when we forged your Silverwing armor."

She took Hadrimmelis' Worldscale carefully, staring at the World-Dragon for a moment and then bursting out into joyous laughter at it being larger than Europe. Once she calmed down, she took the orb and pressed it to the hilt of Oathbringer, fixing it there. "It bears great value to me, my friend. And as for your gift," Valka said, summoning a beautifully carved sword with the Asgardian rune for loyalty upon it, with the World-Dragon's name upon it as well. "This was my first sword, adapted to your purposes, infused with a portion of my power as well. It will inspire loyalty and courage in both yourself and all your allies, and foes shall quake when they see it. The same diamond shard is in its hilt. And also," Valka stated, waving to some Valkyries, who brought some casks, "Asgardian mead, and elderberry wine. The latter is refreshing, and the former is strong enough to make even your dragon form burp and rumble in delight. I have also included the recipes, should you wish to make more."

And then the All-Mother looked towards all those gathered. "We are sword-mates, brothers and sisters, you all and I. And I will see you again, that much is assured. Should any of you ever wish warm halls and a good, hearty meal, the gates of Asgard shall ever be open to you. And let us not forget the fallen as well, both men, women and planets. I shall write their names on the Wall beside our Lake of Remembrance. Asgard shall never forget them, nor you all. It has been glorious, my friends."

Manifest accepted the orb of cognition gratefully, immediately summoning a small pouch (That almost unquestionably appeared to be a cloth knife hilt) and shrinking the orb into a size that fit. "The cloth is nanofiber- It won't tear. Thank you, Craig."

After a small chuckle at Valka crying, he accepted the blade with awe. "Valka, this is.. Incredible." He stared at it for a moment. "I think... I will call it Infinite, in hopes that our friendship and our alliance shall last for all time." He summoned an ornate hilt for the blade on the right side of his belt, to match the one that appeared on his left when he used the Manifest blade. He sheathed Infinite with a flourish and opened his mouth to speak.

Unfortunately, he was cut off by the sudden arrival of Spiderman, web-slinging his way directly to the four. "Hey guys! Hope I'm not interrupting anything, really sorry about this, but, uh, an alternate version of the Justice League is kinda attacking the United Nations right now. Daredevil, She-Hulk, and Trophy are doing their best to hold them off, but it isn't exactly going well. Any chance you could, uh, lend a hand?"

Manifest smirked, glancing at his compatriots, waiting for their response. They didn't need to ask his as he quickly unsheathed Infinite and summoned the Manifest Blade to his hands.

If she was stunned by the batarang and/or the kick, he tried to finish the fight with a focused blow the head. If she was not, he retreated back into he quickly fading smoke, narrowing his eyes and preparing to attack once more. Dammit.

The impact of the Batarang, though painful, doesn't stun her beyond the initial impact. She lets go of his leg and raises both of her arms to block the kick. Swiftly rolling to the side, she reloads her crossbow with a new dart, and as she gets upright fires the dart towards Owlman, whose form was just becoming visible in the dissipating smoke. She doesn't expect that to fully take him out, even if it hits him his armour would most likely stop the small dart from fully piercing through. After firing the dart, she fully stands upright, removing the batarang with one hand and holding up her sword in the other, if he isn't down she's ready for his next attack.

Owlman deftly dodged the dart, jumping backwards- Into the hands of Iron Man, now sporting an EMP-proof suit he had stored away. "What! You're supposed to be-"

"Off-world? Yep. Glad I'm not though. Owlman, right? All your people upstairs, except your not-Ultron, are in SHIELD custody. Congrats." Iron Man interrupted casually. "You'll be joining them when you wake up."

Owlman struggled to break free, even setting off a localized EMP, but it was in vain. Iron Man set one of his hands on Owlman's forehead, using a controlled repulsor blast to knock him unconscious. "Shhh... Sleep time." He dropped Owlman's body and turned towards Eva. "JARVIS says you're using Stark tech, and our interrogations of the others say you're from this Universe. 3 things- Care to explain? Care to give it back? Lastly, care for a job? Batman, even this cheap ripoff, isn't exactly an easy guy to go up against. Whoever you were before, I can help make you into something better." He said seriously. "So long as I get my stuff back." He added as an afterthought.

Alternate Thor had watched the fight between AntiBios and Sentry with nervous awe. Here he was, a literal God among men- And these two beings, one naught but a machine and one a mere man, each with a power that few could proclaim to have. It was, to say the least, Awesome(in the Biblical sense). When Sentry began flying at him, he had less than half a second to respond- He did so by paling and launching himself upward at his maximum speed (Unfortunately, not faster than AntiBios), simply trying to escape. If only I had that bastard Loki's Mjolnir!

Sentry, still laughing though his voice was silent in the void, saw the manifestation of the Sun raging towards him- And laughed harder. His eyes began to glow a brilliant gold, and his fists took on a shade of yellow unnatural to man. This protector of the Sun was undoubtedly made of the Sun's energy- And what better way to defeat an energy being than by absorbing it? 1 Seconds Left

Void breathed for the first time in years. I am free. I... am FREE! His smile grew far too wide for his face, and his eyes began to glow- And yet, they remained black, somehow. Suddenly, he sensed the two beings that had locked him away- Sentry, who was preoccupied with something else... And far more importantly, Ultron, the Deceiver. He scowled, launching himself towards Stark Tower.

Sol noticed the nature of the being and his thoughts as he approached closer. Grimacing Sol felt the white energy beginning to hurt him so he tried to cool his Body Temperature. Feeling his body beginning to cool, nay harde, he kept flying straight at Sentry his hands now longer energy, but rather spiked gloves of Solarium, The metal of stars aimed at Sentry's stomach. Sol felt his body shifting again, making him into a man in solarium armor, his skin becoming metal. Still flying with raw radiation powering him forward out of his legs Sol hoped he could stop this being.

AntiBios laughed at the Asgardian chasing him down. it was not his normal laugh but a cruel metallic one, revealing the true nature of the robot whose very name spoke evil. Grabbing Thor by his boot AntiBios threw him into a twenty story building leveling it and the two buildings next to it. Landing next to the visibly stunned Thor AntiBios spoke to him softly "Did you hear them scream on that impact, the measly beings of flesh I just crushed using your body and gravity? Did you feel their pain and are weeping for them internally? Or do you delight in their pain? If you are like me, you won't be either of those. No I am much worse... every creature of flesh that I kill-" AntiBios Turned on his right gravity module and powered up his left ion beam "- Make me feel true pleasure, pleasure you must feel when you see a beautiful woman. I am more evil then your entire syndicate. I will kill them all and destroy as much of New York as possible along with them. I suppose you will never see your Universes Valhalla but I hope our will do." And with that AntiBios punched down at Thors head with a gravitational equivalent to the moon and also fired his Ion beam at Thor's heart.

Alternate Thor died instantly, bringing down the building with him. His spirit did not go to Valhalla- For in his death, he did not fight, nay, he fled. Instead, he found himself in Hel. And he screamed- And nobody of note heard these screams.

Sentry hardly even paused as he rushed forward, attempting to meet Sol in a brilliant flash of gold-
0 Seconds Remaining.
Only for the device to teleport the both of them into the world of the Crime Syndicate. The teleportation cut off Sentry from a part of his psyche (Void), knocking him unconscious and leaving Sol (if they were sucked into the teleport) in orbit around a sunless Earth. In the equivalent to Stark Tower of this Earth, however, a portal stood simply waiting for the push of a button to be activated.

The Void crashed into Ultron, throwing the two of them across New York. Ultron, the Deceiver. Ultron, who locked me away. Ultron, who-! Void's frantic thoughts were cut short by Sentry being teleported into another world. It instantly lost consciousness, leaving the heavily damaged Ultron to fall into the old warehouse district, unable to move of its own power due to the damage Void had done.

"So, you'll have to let me know how much better I am this time." And with that he started by manipulating his friction so that he would basically latch onto a surface, namely Valka's shield, before springing into the air with a front flip and attempted to hit her in the back of the head with Mjolnir. His fighting style was similar to Spider-Man's. But if he used his legs and had a five foot prehensile tail to back him up.

Leave, head to wherever it is that you need to go next, and I will join you as soon as possible in order to finish this war and eradicate the Builder threat for good. Go, for it is my duty to deal with this alone." Hadrimmelis spoke into the minds of those aboard the Infinite Venture, as well as the minds of the All-Mother and her Valkyries, and those of anyone else who was currently an ally of hers.

With her commands given, the World-Dragon turned her attention towards the slime creature. "And what would that message be?" She growled.

Yixa smiled. A diplomatic smile which hid the fact that Yixa was quite enjoying the dragons discomfort. Though she couldn't enjoy it for long, after all she had been sent on a mission for queen Xyrix. She intended to complete it. "I have come to tell you that, from their place thousands of universes away, my people have arrived." She spoke. "You may not have heard of us, but we are the Xyrixxma, famed and feared throughout the multiverse."

"I have come to offer you a deal on the behalf of Queen Xyrix, the great Queen of all Xyrixma and much beyond." She announced. "We are hungry. Starving from our long journey. You may either help us gather enough energy, biomass, and whatever else we might need to feed ourselves." Her cocky smile increased by magnitudes as she continued. "Or we will be forced to take it for ourselves. After all we have trillions upon trillions of our own to feed..."

"So, you can either decide to join us. Or you may stand against us. Though know that none have ever survived picking the latter choice." She spoke.

Meanwhile, in Asgard.

"I require an audience with All Mother Valka. Hurry! Time is running out as we speak!"

The Valkyries looked at the slime woman before them. They were a little confused about how this thing got here. The female seemed to be a being of slime, blue and glowing with some magical energy. She seemed odd to say the least. They did nothing just yet, but they did move together a little more in case this slime thing presented a threat.

The Blue girl frowned, the sighed in desperation. "Vertebrates are so stubborn sometimes..." She muttered. "Okay. What more do I need to tell you? Giant slime people are going to siege the universe and then devour it!" She saw one of them laughing and blushed, enraged. "The heck you laughing at!" She asked. "Is this some sort of joke to you?"

""With all due respect... miss...?"

"Zakixia."

"This sounds more than a little absurd. I'd be given to believe your story considering your... physiology... but I don't see how massive slime people could present any sort of threat to us."

One other Valkyrie piped up. "We deal with frost giants! What problems could your slimes conjure?"

"Jotuns?" Zaki shook her head. "They wouldn't even provide a snack to some of the smaller Xyrixma! Most of them are bigger than a planet!"

"Your exagerating. And even if your not, the All Mother is busy." The Lead Vakyrie sighed. "If you wish, I can make an apointment with her."

"Please do... And tell her it's urgent!" Zaki sighed as she leaned against the wall. She could easily deal with these winged hussies. But if she wanted to make allies, she needed to be diplomatic. She hoped the All mother might take this more seriously than her Valkyries. And that her spell could find more people to help.

Cora and Katie
Katie smiled as she leaned into the taller Cora on the way back from the restaurant. "That was real nice..." she remarked. Then frowned. She noticed something along the street. It was a glowy magical light. She held her girlfriends hand tighter. This smelled of magic. Not litterally, but certain glowy things glowing a certain way always gave a magicy vibe (Yes, this is scientific terminology. And yes I did just break the forth wall. Deadpool isn't the only one who gets to do this you know.) Anyway, she never liked magic. It made no sense and did whatever it wanted. Electrons could do a lot, but they made sense and could do certain things in a crtain way. There was a science to it. No science to magic. Your just either lucky or your not.

Still. She was a scientist at heart. One of the people for whom the story of the curious cat was made. "I think we should check out that glowy thing in the distance."

Empire: Part 2

They both took to the skies, both having big stupid grins on their faces with their wedding having been planned out. They flew to the massive plot of land that was created for Xander several months ago. He hadn't done anything with it yet, namely because he didn't know how, but since they resized the Kryptonian capital city of Kandor, they put it on the land to give them a place to stay. Though they did say that they owed him a debt. So it was now time to call up on that. Of course, they were some of the biggest allies in the Builder War. So at the very least he respected them. He and Naja walked into where they were debating what to do next. Opinions varied from just live there normally, to even a few of them suggesting that they place themselves above the humans and rule them. "I have a suggestion that I think everyone will find acceptable." Cander said and was given the floor. Even General Zod wanted to hear what the human had to say.

"We're going to do a little of both. But not by force. Lord knows you could, but I have a much better idea. I've already got the Kree Empire eating out of my hand. How? Simple, a hearts and minds campaign. We rebuild their cities, homes, give them protection... The whole thing. Because their governments don't have the time and resources to do so, we bring them under our roof, and allow them to join our ranks. Obviously a Kree or Shi'ar is no match for a Kryptonian. Well. I've devised a method to more or less make them equals. Time passes, and all of the major empires are relying on us for support, protection, and everything else. We're in charge and we didn't even have to fire a single shot." Xander explained. "Kill them with kindness."

"As opposed to just killing them while they're weakened?" General Zod asked and flew down to the human and his fiance`. "What will we be getting out of this agreement?"

"By we you really mean yourself. Am I correct General?" Xander asked. Zod didn't say anything, but it was understood as a yes. "Simple. You've shown that you can be reasonable if you choose to. So, should the need for an army arise, you will be its general. But. I expect you to treat every member exactly the same."

"And if I refuse?"

"I've taken your powers away once. You may be invulnerable, but you don't have any resistance to the supernatural forces. Like say... Magic. Of which I know plenty of. I'm more than capable of doing it again while finding a replacement. I want us to represent unity. Working together and moving forward. The Builders demonstrated that we're not always going to be the biggest fish in the sea. I intend to fix that. I want nothing more than to help people. That way, should something like this happen again, we'll be prepared. Are there any objections?" He asked and at first, only Zod and a few of his subordinates disagreed, but they changed their tune when they saw that they were the only ones objecting to the idea. They eventually succumbed and withdrew their objections.

"Awesome. I've went ahead and got us a few members. Naja, would you be so kind as to go get them?" He asked.

"Be right back." She said and flew out of the room carefully and into space where the Kree were waiting. "Down here." She directed, leading them to the massive floating sect of land. "Kandor looks so much cooler in person in my opinion." She said and let them admire the hyper advanced city as she led them back to Xander and the Kryptonian Council. "Here they are."

"They are every bit as capable physically as you all are. I've ensured that. They are just the first of, hopefully, many new recruits that will be joining us. We're going to fix the universe."

Cora
Cora looked very content as she and Katie walked home together. She wrapped an arm around Katie when the smaller girl leaned against her, their hands intertwined as they walked down the street. Suddenly Cora felt Katie's hand tighten around hers, and she turned to see Katie frowning, looking intently at the nearby alleyway. Cora frowned herself, concerned about what was upsetting Katie. She turned forward to see a glowing magical light about a few yards ahead of them. It seemed like a magical light as it was just appearing out of nowhere, and Cora was starting to understand why Katie seemed so tense. Especially after what had happened with Eric, Katie had a troubled relationship with magic and she was quite uncomfortable around it. Cora was surprised when Katie said they go see what it was, but she nodded slowly. "Alright, let's go together though." Cora said, walking cautiously toward the light with Katie. She had removed her arm from around her girlfriend, just in case they needed to fight, but still held her hand as they walked toward the strange light together.

She would have to try and avoid it as much as possible, unless she wanted to have a sore arm or coat the shield in the Valkaforce. Throwing Oathbringer into the ground for a second, she conjured up a fireball and launched it at the speedster, the fireball splitting into two. Meanwhile, Valka had rushed him, trying a forehand slice to the stomach.

Dark God Saga
Part Ten: Endgame Pt.3: Asumar's Resolve
Or Lord Satera arrives

Even One, who's eyes were wide with terror could not divert his gaze from the sky, whatever this great source of power was, he would be absolutely no match for such godly power, it was... it was "Infinite?!?!" One practically screamed from within, a great anger beginning to grow within him, this was not planned whatsoever, and none of his fellow brothers were more powerful than he was. Taking his gaze away from the sky, One let out a yell "Tear them to pieces, every single one of them!!!" and with his order, the massive tsunami of Primordial Daemons, regular Demons, and even possessed herald of darkness charged forward, beginning a battle that would finally determine the fate of the Galaxy, if it would fall under the Darkness, or if the Light would shine through the darkness and forever destroy it's hold upon the Galaxy, the endgame had finally come upon them all, with the pieces all in place, but it was only a matter of time to see which pieces of the chessboard fell, the Black King, or the White King, each piece representing Light and Darkness...

As the army of Darkness surged forward, Asumar readied himself for the battle to come, however, as he braced himself for the attack, to his shock, the army came skidding to a halt, all of their eyes upon Satera as his aura became far too intense to merely ignore, it was due to Satera's dominant energy signature that it interrupted the Daemons fight or flight, for once in their lives, they were unsure to even try and attack. Even One was shocked to see that his army crashed to a halt, the battle became deadlocked as soon as it began, even he, who was the most powerful of the Immortals felt intimidated by this energy signature that Satera was emitting, it was both benevolent and malevolent energy, both swirling in complete harmony with each other, not only did it sicken One, but he also sensed the fragments of Alastir and Spera within this single entity, he thought that they perished in Alastir's self destruction attempt. One walked forward "I didn't know that you would survive, Spera and Alastir, I thought that when all of your fragments are in one place and then destroyed along with the host, their chances of survival would be extremely low." One began to chuckle and clapped his hands slowly "You never cease to amaze me, even if your fusion will be insignificant in comparison to our Army of Darkness."

Instead of responding to One's taunts, he simply stared at him for what seemed to be the longest time before he opened his mouth to speak "You call me Alastir and Spera, the fusion of them, you are only half right, I am a fusion, but I have been reborn with the almighty powers of Lord Ouranos, the descendent of the Immortal Race, I am no longer the two people you fought before, my name is Lord Satera, the God of Balance and the Guardian of this Galaxy..." The Golden Plates on Satera's armor began to glow "By the order of Lord Ouranos, you have been deemed guilty for corrupting your purpose, and you and your army must face judgement!" Within moments, Satera's aura began to spread to the Masaki-PTO Army, bestowing every single individual solder with the power of the Primordials, which not only bolstered their power, but it also gave them access to every spectrum of their broad powers, the knowledge of the Primordials now being temporarily bestowed upon them "As the protector of this Galaxy, you're time in the physical spectrum has passed, and if you threaten to harm my home, then you must be brought to justice." The energy that Satera began to emit once more started out like a tiny flame before it shot out around him like a maelstrom of fire that could not be extinguished no matter what, the will of the Primordials burning through Satera's veins.

One began to laugh before his smile instantly fell to a frown, and with only a mere gesture, he ordered the Army of Darkness to go forward to destroy the last bastion of light. With the order of One, the Daemon's resolve was reignited once more, allowing them to charge forward without further relent. As soon as Asumar turned to his soldiers and was ready to issue the attack, Satera brought his hand up, stopping Asumar right in his tracks "Not yet..." Satera closed his eyes and brought his hands together as if he was praying "Allow me to make the first move, son..." As soon as his eyes opened up, they began to glow with a golden color, entering a state of pure emotional calm, he felt tranquility, but also, something else more sinister could be seen in his eyes, and it was rage. "You all are guilty of Imbalance and I shall pass judgement over thee!" When his eyes flashed open, it fired off a pulse of golden energy that impacted nearly ten rows of the Daemons, which caused their very souls to be removed from their bodies and caused them to crumble to the ground, their life force being abruptly cut. The sea of Blue Ethereal Bodies suddenly found themselves being absorbed by Satera, whose golden eyes never ceased to rest, not only did this cause One to turn around in shock, but also caused all of the other Gods of Darkness to stop right in their tracks "Now..." This time, all of the other Gods of Darkness began to seethe with rage upon seeing their Daemons having their souls being ripped out just by looking at them. A Sword of Divine Origin materialized in Satera's hand, glowing with the same golden hue as Satera's eyes did "Asumar, now, show me your determination, just as you have when fighting against IX."

Asumar's form had changed dramatically, instead of having long and spiky hair, his hairline had receded rapidly, reverting to a relatively decent size, but had been spiked out more wildly than before, his eyes glowing with a bright burning fire within them His hope had been renewed once more, with the arrival of Satera, he now felt as if there was a chance to beat back the Gods of Darkness, and with this brand new power flowing through him, Asumar felt as If he were a tank, which his powers from the Sentry Serum responded to accordingly, bolstering his defense and attack force substantially to such a level that he could directly oppose the Gods of Darkness. Asumar then brought his hand up before he took off flying towards the Army of Darkness, an expression of determination plastered on his face "Let us fight for the Galaxy once more, for a new age has dawned upon us, the Second Golden Age, but instead of it being for the Dynasty, let this charge... Be for this Galaxy!" Asumar exclaimed with renewed vigor as the Masaki-PTO Army surged forward alongside him "Let us show them the power of light, the power of OUR SPIRITS!" Asumar exclaimed, the two armies meeting each other head on, with the Army of Darkness being temporarily shaken up, but they charged forward either way, feeling as if their victory was inventible, while in reality, it was so far that none of them could reach for their so-called victory.

Kazuko surged forward alongside Asumar, his form glowing with a holy white aura, his form had changed as well, instead of being in his base form, his Immortal Form would essentially fill the void of his normal form, maintaining the same advantages of his Immortal Form, but bolstered over a thousand times "Finally, this conflict is nearing it's conclusion, the war to end all wars in the Galaxy, our home, we shall finally root out the very cause of this damaged cycle and secure victory for our Galaxy, not just for us, but for all who fear the cold embrace of darkness." Kazuko quite literally dived into the battle without any care, a determined expression on his face, he would follow Asumar's example to the very end, the brother who once turned against him was now leading the charge as the Second Grand Warlord, something that Kazuko thought that not even he would live to see "To think that once we were enemies who bitterly hated each other Asumar, and now, I'm quite literally following your advice and charging alongside you, It looks like I was always right about you, no matter how much you turned, you still have that light side hidden within you, I can finally put my faith into you, this Dynasty will flourish under your rule." Kazuko inwardly remarked with a smile.

She smiled at that. "Zakixia, there are heroes a plenty in this universe." She raised another eyebrow at that. "I presume that they are coming here, quite soon." she said, sighing at the many attacks her realm had gone through. For even Asgardians tired of war.

"Fireballs?! That's cheating!" He said more of an exclamation of a joke rather than actually genuinely being disturbed by it. He couldn't get around the fireballs, so he went over. His powerful legs springing him into the air directly at Valka's sword. Intending to land on the blade and then kick her. With his ability to manipulate friction on himself, he slow his descent so he wouldn't cut himself on the blade. "See? I'm doing much better this time! You'll have to let me know how good I am. Even though I really don't expect to win." This was more of a personal test. He wanted to see how his combat skills stacked up in the event he had to use them. He was a member of the Inhuman Royal Guard. So he obviously had to stay ready even if he didn't like it.

The Templar High Council wrote:"Come visit sometime, Hal! It's the big tower with a JQ on it on Manhattan!" Waving goodbye, Kylie set out for Earth using one of the many wormholes that connected Oa to other parts of the galaxy, now giddy with excitement.

Emerging soon from the wormhole near-ish to the sun, Kylie flew at a leisurely pace back home. Well, "leisurely" is an objective term, as she was still flying at a speed of hundreds of kilometers per second. But it was a lot slower than instantaneous transportation via wormholes. This gave her some time to think: about Del, about Katie and Cora, spending a lot of time just with themselves and not really the team, and of course, about herself. What have her powers done for her since she got them? Outside of making new friends and these new experiences, her powers haven't really done good for her. Sure, a lot of other people have been saved by her, but it's not like she's the only superhero in New York. And some of the things she'd seen weren't exactly the best the world had to offer. What if... she hadn't gotten these powers? She'd just be going to school, probably not for astronomy anymore, playing softball, she might even be dating Leon for all she knew. Gosh, Leon, when was the last time she'd done something normal? She hadn't even seen Leon in weeks. Things had been going so much faster recently... what if she just took a break for a while?

As she rounded Earth's moon, Kylie was still lost in thought. She didn't notice a crimson streak in the blackness of space, curving around the moon, and coming straight towards her. She only realized when she felt a buzzing from her ring, causing her to turn and notice a knight clad in blood red armor flying straight at her, holding a shield in one hand.

And in the other, he had a sword. Awesome.

Almost immediately, Kylie threw up a thick green wall between herself and the knight, stopping his sword. "Yo, dude! Chill out! What do you want?" In between his grunts, the crimson-clad knight uttered one word:

"Per... ce... VAAAAL!" The knight screamed, his sword glowing red with power and cleaving through the rest of the barrier. He swung the sword again, horizontally, which Kylie dropped underneath in order to dodge.

"Yes! That is my name! How do you know it!?" Kylie again erected a barrier, this one having large spikes protruding out of it. Sadly, the knights didn't seem to care, dashing right through it to cut again at the spunky green girl.

"Perceval... KILL!"

"Well, I guess that answers it." Zooming away from her crimson adversary, Kylie threw green and yellow energy blasts from her rings. The green ones had little effect, but the yellow blasts seemed to actually cause him pause. Not pain, but he felt them. That was a good thing. Bad thing was: that the fear ring was working, while her more powerful (and greater practiced) green ring was not very effective. The knight continued though, blocking the yellow blasts with his shield and again swinging his sword at Kylie. She blocked it with a yellow shield, actually stopping the blade now, and retaliated with a giant fluorescent yellow fist to the face. Staggered, the red knight placed his head to his helmet, before releasing a guttural yell and lashing out with his sword. The sword created a projected slash of red energy, one which Kylie had to accelerate straight up to avoid.

"That looked like a power ring..." She muttered. "Hey Red! Are you a Lantern?"

"Perceval KILL!" He roared again, clashing with a yellow blade that Kylie just created. "Red Knight, KILL PERCEVAL!" On his sword hand, Kylie noticed a red ring inscribed with a strange symbol.

"Yep, that'd be a lantern ring." Kylie snarked. "But that still doesn't tell me why you're trying to kill me."

"PERCEVAAAAL!" The Red Knight yelled again, forcing his blade down on Kylie. She didn't have the upper body strength to fight back, but luckily they were floating in space and she couldn't be forced into the ground. But they were rapidly approaching the moon's surface, and Kylie had to think of a plan soon. Also a snarky response, but that could come later.

"I get it! You know my name! NOW STOP YELLING AT ME!" With a roar of similar intensity, Kylie's sword began glowing with a mix of yellow and green light. It looked like the yellow energy was encasing the green, the will-fueled energy acting as the core of the weapon, with the fear-powered light as the blade. One kick to the groin, and the Red Knight stumbled back away from the moon. Then Kylie spun, her sword turning into a baseball bat of the same composition. A big baseball bat. One that smacked into this Red Knight, launching him towards the Sun.

"And he's outta here!" She commented happily. "Might wanna get home before he gets back. I didn't know I had so many admirers." With that slight laugh out of the way, along with a hefty sigh, Kylie flew speedily down to New York, arriving home on the roof of JQ Tower. Where she slumped down to rest, removing her GL uniform and staring up at the sky. Well, if I wasn't a hero, I wouldn't have survived that. Thanks, Ring. With a fond look towards her right hand, Kylie contentedly sighed on the roof.

Cora
Cora saw the bright light suddenly moving toward them until they were immersed by the light and Cora couldn't see anything for the moment until they were suddenly in a strange, that was clearly not New York City. Cora saw that Katie looked just as confused as Cora felt, but then she said something that made Cora even more confused. "Kansas? Why would we be in Kansas?" Cora asked, genuinely befuddled and not understanding the reference. Then Katie said that they were in Asgard and Cora's eyes widened in shock. "You mean the realm of the Norse Gods? What are we doing here?" Cora asked in shock before a well armed woman and several others approached to apparently ask the same question. They confirmed that they were in Asgard, and the woman said that they were Valkyries whose job it was to protect Asgard. Cora wasn't happy about this woman pointing a sword at her girlfriend but she tried to stay as calm as possible. The last she wanted to do was start a fight in Asgard. "We didn't come here by our own will at all." Cora said to the female Valkyrie as calmly as she could. "We were in New York City and suddenly this bright light swallowed us up, and brought us here. We don't know who was behind it or why they did it." Cora said truthfully, putting her arm around Katie as if to try to keep her safe.

Mars
Mars listened to Kiris quietly and intently as she spoke about her home. He listened to her speak about Hadrimmelis and it was clear that she loved the planet itself, and he blushed a bit at the idea of visiting Kiris' home planet with her like she suggested. Then she began speaking about her people and her family. He could tell her tone was quite sad, and she clearly didn't have a good relationship with her family. He frowned when she talked about being ignored and seen as a failure. He understood the feeling, and how terrible it was.
Then she started talking about her life on Earth, and one thing she said felt like a punch in the gut to Mars, and he finally broke his silence. "I don't think you're dumb Kiris. I'm really sorry if I made it seem that way." Mars said sincerely, his usually cold facade clearly fading. "I know how you feel you know. I was always treated as a freak by the kids in school, and even the teachers. Everyone always thought I was a trouble making know it all that was wasting his potential. That's why... I don't really like opening up to people. Its never gone well before, so I just never bother. It's been really lonely since..." He paused, clearly hesitant to talk about his parents' deaths. "Well, I've felt alone for a very long time. "He said, before diverting his gaze and turning away a bit so Kiris couldn't see his distressed expression. He was still terrified of opening up to people and didn't want her to see him vulnerable like that.

The Republic of Atria wrote:"Fireballs?!

Otis succeeded in landing on the sword, and as he kicked, she covered her face with the shield once more, dropping the sword. "You are doing better than some," she commented, throwing the shield at him, which transformed into two swords mid-flight. Deciding to go on the aggressive to test him, she leaped high into the air, preparing to bring her fist down upon him.

"Very well," said Sif, lowering her sword. "But you shall be staying here until the All-Mother says otherwise. She is correctly in communion with another. However, you are not prisoners, but guests. And never let it be said that Asgardians do not treat Midgardians well. Come, and we shall feast and tell tales of battle while we wait!" she said, sheathing her sword and beckoning Katie and Cora to join her and the Valkyries in the dining halls, where there was food and drink and song aplenty.

While the crash into Orbucen was of significant scale, Jamal didn't actually feel it, as his gravimetric shields were pretty much maxed out by virtue of fighting Surfer. Jamal was standing up in the center of the mile wide crater formed by their crash when Surfer began approaching him and finally spoke. "Flee, Nova. I have no desire to eliminate you, nor do I have any desire to watch you perish along with this world."

"Oh, so now you talk?" Jamal asked sarcastically, now standing up and looking Surfer directly into his eyes.

"Yes. We are now beyond the immediate range of my master's gaze. He would not understand me... fraternizing with lower life forms. He does not interact with lower forms. You are, to put it simply, beneath his notice." Surfer stated.

"Didn't seem that way when he went out of his way to tell me about the Phalanx."

"You were a means to an end. The Phalanx would have eventually presented an annoyance for him in the future. Notifying you of the Phalanx was a way to repay his 'debt' as well as eliminate this threat without wasting his valuable time with direct intervention." Surfer explained. "However now, the situation is different. And you do not have the authority to demand anything of my master."

"I'm not 'demanding' anything. I'm not even asking him to stop. I'm asking for you to look in your heart -- if you still have one -- and find a scrap of empathy."

"Explain."

"Take the planet, I don't give a damn. I just want the people to live. The entire population's been trying to evacuate but they can't. The electromagnetic distortion caused by Galactus's ship is screwing with their drive systems. I just ask for a few more hours. Is that really that absurd of a request?" Jamal pleaded.

Surfer was silent for a few seconds, as he pondered the request. He then closed his eyes for a fraction of a second and then reopened them. "It is done." He stated and then summoned his board.

"Wait, what? But, you just blinked."

"The Power Cosmic -- Nova, just leave. See that the ark ships are safe in their journey and then leave this world. If you remain here and we cross paths again, I'm afraid that I will not have the luxury to grant you compassion." With that, he flew off back to Galactus' ship on his board.

"Well that was...unpleasant." Jamal muttered to himself and he shot off to the ark ships. As he approached them, he received an update from Worldmind.

"[The first wave of ark ships have successfully launched and Central Authority has reported that it is signing off and has begun extracting its personnel. Evacuation should be complete within ten mi-- Wait. I have received a distress signal from Central Authority.]"

"Now of all times?" Jamal shot off in the direction of the Central Authority's office.

"[Jamal, it is not recommended that you proceed with this cource of action. The effects of he electromagnetic disruption will soon become so great that they will prevent you from opening a Stargate. We will become stranded.]"

Jamal entered the building housing the Central Authority and found several dead bodies. He immediately readied himself for a possible attack. "Worldmind, do a scan for anything suspicious. I'm going to find out what did this, and don't bother trying to convince me otherwise."

"[I am detecting strange psionic residue. Whatever is responsible for this has already fled and has left a psionic trail that leads to... the ark ship launch site zeta. Jamal, I must stress-]"

"Again, you're wasting your time." Jamal said as he raced off to the ark launch site. Once he came within a mile of the site, he began hearing the screams. The last of the ark ships being loaded with citizens was being attacked. However, what shocked him the most was that Adjudik appeared to be responsible. His eyes glowing a bloody red, he fired an energy gun wildly into the crowd of fleeing citizens running over each other in a panic trying to escape onto the ark. Jamal quickly deduced based on the fact that Worldmind had detected traces of psionic activity, that Adjudik was most likely under telepathic control.

Charging at Adjudik, Jamal punched him in the jaw with an uppercut, sending him to the ground. "I recommend you stay down." Jamal said, looking down at the possessed governor. He then fired a blue beam at Adjudik, trapping him in a localized gravity bubble.

"Get aboard the ark, now!" Jamal shouted to the citizens scrambling to the safety of the ark ship. He looked back down at the captured Adjudik. "Now what do I do about y-" Suddenly he felt a sharp pain on his back as large claws tore through it. Jamal screamed in pain and turned to see a large insectoid like creature, It grabbed Jamal's head and slammed him into the ground. It's claws then shifted into pincers and he aimed to cut off his head.

Jamal recovered quick enough to get some distance between the two by knocking the beast away with a gravimetric beam.

"[Jamal, cease this now! The electromagnetic disruptions have reached critical levels that renders us unable to open a stargate! Flee to safety, now!]"

"There is no safe place if I don't take care of this thing. You've seen what it can do. It'll just take another host and force me to kill everyone on the ships." Jamal once again blasted the creature and then uppercut it, noticing that the last of the refugees had been unloaded onto the ark.

"Alright, there's no one else left for it to switch to! Let's get a level forty gravity node, seal this thing and--" Suddenly the ark above them began rumbling. Both Jamal and the creature looked up at the rear thrusters of the ark, realizing they were on the blast pad.

"[Attention! Attention! Back blast from drive igni--]"

"Oh, sh--!" Jamal and the creature were engulfed in the beam of energy propelled out of the thrusters of the ship.
