She could fly, but flying was finicky and teleporting worked just fine until she could figure out flight. Even though she could only teleport where she could see, it was still quite effective. She teleported to what could be considered the bad part of town. Next was an invisibility spell. Quite easy. One of the first tricks she figured out when the stranger gave her the powers.
She walked a few blocks undetectable to normal humans, and she saw a pair of little boys probably around her age walking alone. There was something about them that she couldn't quite figure out. They simply felt different. Different other than the fact that the kid was also alone in the bad part of town. Being the social butterfly that is any 9 year old girl, she teleported in front of him with a bright pink flash making herself plainly visible, though only to then. "Hey! Watcha doin'?" She asked. "And by that, I mean what are you doing alone down here?"

After an encounter with some strange aliens, his day was definitely taking an interesting turn. He had kicked their asses into next week, and after only a few questions, had figured out that they were just henchmen. And, based on the massive amounts of power being exerted in one particular area, it wasn't hard to guess where the guy was. But, his power dropped massively in but a moment, seemingly for no reason. Nothing indicated that the fight was leaned against him, and, what baffled Mason even more was the fact that this Frost guy was not incapacitated or dead at that point. His power was still relatively large, it just wasn't that large. And after that, he just disappeared all together.
The group that he was after was now on the move, flying somewhat fast, so, Mason flew in that direction, pushing it to lightspeed. As if he had teleported, he suddenly appeared next to the one he would come to know as Alex, and the highest power level in the group. Mason smiled as he spoke to Alex in his normal voice, knowing he'd be able to hear him as he sensed some Kryptonian in the golden haired warrior's powerset, "So, did you defeat the Frost guy? I ran into some of his henchmen, and was actually on my way to take care of it myself when his power just disappeared all together.", he said, before suddenly recognizing the man, "Wait a minute, aren't you the guy who fought those Saiyans a while back? You're the one who messed up that big one right?"
Alex stopped for a moment slightly surprised by the new man's arrival. "Not me, I helped though. Lobotomized him. Messed with his motor control and muscle memory. The martian girl liberated his top and bottom halves. Yeah, I fought them. The big guy was easy. It was short stack that gave me problems. But I've gotten quite literally a million times more powerful since then. He shows up again and he's in for a rude awakening. But enough about that. I pulled some guy out of some rubble who could not remember the last four years of his life. Then he started manifesting superhuman abilities. We're going to New Attilan to see if they can help us figure out what's going on with him. Plus, I just want to sit on my ass for a little bit. I've had it with cosmic entities and God knows what."
Alex was tired. Not physically as that wouldn't happen anytime soon. Mentally. Since he left the government to do his own thing, it wound up being the same thing as if he would have stayed. He needed a break. Somewhere he could just sit and talk with people who wouldn't look at him like he was about to snap and break the planet in half.

Mason chuckled inwardly. Unlike Alex, he quite enjoyed meeting powerful beings. The more he met, the more powerful he himself became. But, he did always get a feeling of loss each time he replicated a new power. He would lose a little bit of himself each time took on the abilities of somebody else. But it wasn't something he thought about too often, as, he had little control over his power. He spoke in a slightly more relaxed voice, knowing that the problem was taken care of, "So, you must be pretty tough then, to survive against the power I was sensing from that Frost guy. While I was on my way, I was actually questioning if I could beat him myself.", he said, trying to get a read on Alex's powers.
But, something was strange. Just like when he saw Alex on the TV, he couldn't get a read on his powers. This guy seemed to be pretty powerful, and it gave him a slightly insecure feeling that he couldn't figure out his powers or where they came from. So, he decided to stick with them for longer, "Anyways, I don't have much else to do, so I guess I'll head to New Attilan as well.", he said, suddenly channeling his Kryptonian abilities, "But, you guys are moving like snails, so, I'm gonna go ahead and speed up. See you there.", he said, suddenly firing off at speeds faster than light, and arriving in New Attilan in almost literally no time.
"He was definitely the second toughest person I ever fought. I do not want to talk about the first, do not ask. That wasn't even a fight." He shuddered remembering his first encounter with Nightmare. Even with his new found strength, he was still psyched out by the creature. "I'm only going this slow to give the guy directions. He just discovered his powers and I want to make sure he doesn't hurt himself or someone else." He said and rolled his eyes. "Show off. I can do that too." He muttered and a few minutes later arrived at New Attilan. "I swear, if you say what took you so long, I will sigh so heavily it will either be so sad that it is actually laughable, or won't."
