The Republic of Atria wrote:"WOOOHOOO!" Otis shouted as he smashed through a ship. I haven't had this much fun in like... An hour!" One ship and compressed into a tight cube with his telekinesis, another was erased by the Omega Beams. One was literally turned into chocolate. "Hmmm... I'm running out of ways to blow up ships in an original fashion." He pondered half to Katie and half to himself. "Maybe use them as barbells... Or.. Sports' equipment!" Upon having that brilliant idea, Otis used his powers to make one of them into a novelty sized baseball bat and then used said bat to smash more ships until it broke. Then he started using ships as bowling balls. "Hey Katie! Are you having as much fun as I am?"

Seeing that earths sheild was holding true, Katie turned back to the ships. "Think on what Xander and I are saying Allie." She spoke, before speeding towards Otis, apearing next to him to shoot another ship with Boomstick. "You're right. This is pretty darn fun Otis." She remarked as she blasted more ships into nothingness. "I haven't had the chance to really see what Boomstick here can do, it heightens my powers to the point where these ships might as well be made of glass." She smiled, then blasted a few more. "So yeah, this is like duckhunt but without the stupid dog."

Supreme Demonic Dark God Alastir

Alastir chuckled as he felt the shotgun aimed up against him, he found no point of the shotgun aimed towards him, he actually welcomed it, to feel cold metal up against him, he actually took joy in it "You honestly think that I care about your so-called shotgun up against me?" Alastir's neck twisted so that while his body faced Xander, his head was facing Katie "No, I don't even care in the slightest, you still side with the people of Earth even though one of the defenders left an entire galaxy of trillions of people? You're as bad as him!" Alastir cackled before he felt a peculiar energy signature approaching very quickly, and this was an energy trail coming from the Masaki Galaxy, It was Satera and he was very much pissed off "Also 'Katie' I would suggest you turn around, right about now." Alastir replied with a knowing smirk as he turned his head away from Katie, simply deciding to stare at Xander "I've won you fool, now there are witnesses to what you just did, now the entire universe will know how the Earth rendered a Galaxy of Trillions of Innocent lives nothing but a pile of debris."

It was at this moment that Satera came to a screeching halt right behind Katie, one hand poised towards the base of her spine, his eyes burning brightly with emerald fire within them, this was the fourth time something like this happened, and now all life in the Masaki Galaxy was rendered nothing but a desolate corpse, this was something that not even he could take "Make one move, I dare you, and the last feeling that you will ever have is the feeling of your spine being torn from your back." Satera calmly replied, his eyes not once leaving Xander's own "I will put it blatantly Xander..." Satera stated, his attention turning to Xander as Satera held no regard for how powerful the Starbrand, he did not want his Galaxy being involved in the situation, but this time the God of the Masaki Galaxy was pushed to his final limit "That was an EXTREMELY stupid judgement call on your part, you of all people should know that when you damage a God's realm nearly beyond any repair, you will expect his anger." Satera calmly replied, not once removing his eyes from Xander.

"See? Did I not tell you Lord Ouranos, Spera, that the Earthlings were never to be trusted in the first place? Look at what has happened now, we are without a home, and trillions of lives are now extinguished, surely you must understand that we must wage war on the Earth." Alastir reasoned, no once removing his glance, just daring Xander to make a move "Besides, they are simply cold-blooded killers that must be taught a lesson as quickly as possible, and we must be the ones to do it, because no one else will do it, right Lord Ouranos?" Alastir stated, calling upon Lord Ouranos personally, simply sensing the brief change of energy within Satera, signifying that Lord Ouranos' personality was the one to address everyone around Earth itself "Now there is a small bit of myself within you Xander, you are quite heartless about killing trillions of lives." Alastir said with a smug smirk as he simply closed his eyes and listened to Ouranos!Satera speak to the defenders of Earth and the Demon Army at the same time.

"How dare you, Xander Smith destroy my Galaxy simply to spite Alastir." Ouranos stated, his voice being so bone chillingly cold that Alastir shuddered by it "You really think that I would allow such an action to go unnoticed?" Ouranos' cold voice stated with such held back ferocity that a small amount of his energy shot forward and delivered a brief attack upon the shield that protected the Earth "You Humans seem to always forget your boundaries when it comes to power." Satera's aura shot to life in a display of anger, his now deep blue eyes making contact with Xander "You never learn about your actions, because killing trillions of lives does not change anything, are you that willing for me to unleash my wrath upon this planet? Because I too will unleash forces of such primordial nature that will make every single continent, even your own mighty nation crumble." Ouranos warned, showing absolutely no regard for the Starbrand and it's power.

"Okay, let me make something equally balantly clear." Spoke Katie, as she traveled Sateras own body to position herself behind him. "One, I was in that mans mind. He's going to give you your Galaxy back as soon as the demon army stops trying to burn our home. And if he isn't there are people you can contact and forces you can use to bring them back. Two, as soon as you threaten to hurt my home and girlfriend on earth, I start seeing red. You're lucky it's christmas, cause if I was in a worse mood I would have rewired your brain like I did Xander here. Only I would have burned out your ability to distinguish between shitting yourself and breathing."

"Now you are going to get allie to say sorry, then Xander will remake your home and I will get back to wrapping presents before I actually get annoyed. And believe me you don't want to get between me and Christmas."

"If I may point out the obvious, this truth that your aunt speaks of might be related to what we were just talking about." Garnet remarked as she, too, followed the fox woman through the house of spirits, stepping over the bones of the skeletons that she had diligently slain moments ago. She, unlike Akari, Masami and Akihiko, was not quite as attuned to the spiritual energies lurking around, and so, though she could pick them up due to the fact that she was used to the presence of supernatural energies by now, they were perceived and affected her in a degree much smaller than the others. Akihiko, on the other hand, was grumbling unintelligible sentences that were mostly about how it bothered him having to work with the awful stench of dark spirits. Had he been less distracted with keeping his corrupted blood in check, he might've realized that such specific complaints likely would hint others towards his secret, but for now, that was not among his concerns.

"That's what concerns me. Intrigue is not something I'm that much of a fan of to be honest." She muttered as she suddenly heard a scream. Akari cocked her guns and Masami frowned.

"It's a ghost." Akari spoke. "Watch yourselves."

Suddenly a host of Icy women came from out of nowhere, floating on spiritual energies. Yuki Onna. Women who died in the cold, alone and in pain. Now they were here to make sure the girls and Aki suffered the same fate.

"Wonderful." Muttered Masami. "Frost women. Just what I wanted..."

Etla simply grinned at Ihra as she complained about being put into trouble. The golden-haired Rainborn didn't particularly care; she didn't see this quest as trouble, she simply saw it as helping out some nice people and perhaps getting the chance to have some fun battles along the way, which honestly sounded like a pretty sweet deal to her. She then looked with amusement at the weird lady called Aiua as she started saying something about the fellowship of the spectrum and assigning names to the members of the group consisting on what type of power they had. She was a little disappointed that there was no cool title for her, and glanced at Ihra's Rainbow Sword with a blank expression. She would've liked to have a cool weapon like that one, but for now, her own mundane sword, Cyclone, would have to do. Still, she wasn't about to be left out of the fun stuff.

"Hey, I tossed a bunch of bolts of light at the demon earlier, that should count for something right?" She complained, before turning to Darian and Serene as they began talking to each other, before finally accepting the help offered to them. She smiled at this and picked up Cloudy, shoving him into her dimensional storage again for safekeeping before drawing out her sword, just in case they were attacked out of the blue while on their journey or something like that. "Well, if that person can help you solve everything, what are we waiting for? Let's get going!" She urged them, excited to be on an adventure once again.

Ihra looked at how Etla was looking at the Rainbow Sword and gave her a frown. She interpreted it as if she might want the sword. "Don't look at Rainbow. You already have all the good cores. Besides, I had to earn him." She had already begun personifying the rainbow blade.

Auia nodded. "Fair enough. I was just having trouble fitting you in with the whole Light and colour theme. Not saying you didn't do anything or anything." She remarked. Then shrugged. "We should get a move on. After all we have things to do if "The Spectrum" is to prove itself."

A Disease of the Heart

Yamira's Avatar opened a portal to her sister, stepping out of it and looking around at her surroundings. She frowned, lightly disapointed. She had fully expected her sister to be out making cosmic bodies now that she was free of the bonds of sleep. Instead, she was watching anime. The room stank slightly, so Yamira theorized that her sister was eating something. Yamira sighed, walking towards Hadri. I thought older siblings were supposed ot be the more responsible ones.

"Sister. We may have a problem." Spoke the world dragon. "Or at least... I have a problem. I'm not yet sure if this concerns all of us..." She spoke. Then paused, why was it so hard to ask? It was shameful to have to admit it, but she wasn't sure if she could deal with this on her own. Her sister Hadri was the closest person to her, so she thought it best to talk to her.

"I need your help Hadri..." She finally admitted. It hurt to say. She was supposed to be the smartest of the second generation, perhaps the smartest of all of them, but this was a problem on which she was stumped. "I really don't know what to do."

Ephilia - Fallen Goddess Of Rebirth

Golden Iris' stared out into the vast void of deep space. This galaxy had met its end, and it was time to move on to the next. A fresh batch of civilizations ripe for death and destruction awaited, and very soon the darkness would cover their worlds. Sky's would be blocked out from Ephilia's hordes, and entire suns would find themselves drained of all energy. Then when the time came, that Galaxy would return to the void. All traces of its existence erased in a single fell blitz. Heroes would always line up to oppose Ephilia, and as usual, heroes would fall before her like a row of dominoes. The false gods and lesser celestials would find greater purpose serving Ephilia, now a 'Greater Ilumni' as she called herself. More importantly, she considered herself the one true Goddess of this Universe. Given time, she would erase everything and start anew with her as the grand creator.

Now, with the threat of total Annihilation looming, a great army stood to oppose the goddess. Remaining Ilumni and the false Celestials of lesser species had gathered in a single, and desperate, final stand against the growing power of this 'ultimate evil' as many termed it before their demise.

It was like a dark cloud in the vast void of space. The cries of the damned could be heard from this mass of tendrils and abominations, and upon closer inspection, one could make out the constituents of the Black Horde. Fell beasts, and creatures deformed beyond repair made up some of the largest of the 'monsters'. Some beasts could be described as 'space kraken's' to a lower species. High above, commanding the hordes were various types of succubi and Incubi. At the center of the horde was armor clad individuals, the finest warriors of numerous races were as vulnerable to temptation as any mortal.

"How...exciting," Ephilia blushed and put a hand to her cheek in anticipation. All her lovely slaughters were terribly one-sided. It'd be deliciously wonderful to actually watch these folks, who believed they actually had a chance to stop her, fight with vigor and eventually lose all hope in the end. It was that look of defeat that Ephilia sought to invoke, but furthermore, she wanted to see their fear. Their screams and their moans as they succumbed to corruption. Extending a single hand, she signaled her vast forces to move forward and begin the battle.

"She's coming this way."

"Tell me something I don't know Sora." Akura spoke, looking towards the horde. She turned back towards her army. Angels, Spirits and Superhumans. She had pheonixes, dragons and gods on her side. She had mages who wielded awesome powers. But Ephilia had an entire horde. On average, Akura's troops were better, but there was so many of Ephilia's monsters... Not to mention Ephilia herself.

"There's no way we're going to defeat her. She has us outnumbered. Our troops may be able to take on quite a few of her scum, but there's way too many of them."

"Arrogance will be her downfall Keena." Akura spoke. "She's neglected to employ any strategy, and her horde can only fight us on the front because of the magnetic fields in this system. She knows nothing of the forces we have and we know everything about hers. Her only hope is to crush us with brute force or outlast us, while we have more... interesting strategems in place."

"She's thinks might alone is enough to win a battle. And that will cost her, severly." Spoke Akura, before lifting her sword. She was annoyed as she looked at Ephilia with that stupid amused smile. She didn't like being disrespected or underestimated by her foe. It was always a gross miscalculation that she tried made them pay for. But she had to at least respect Ephilia's ambition and her power. One had to understand a foe to be able to defeat them, and in the course of doing so one gained respect for them.

"Hear that! She think's we're ants that can be crushed with a mere boot! She thinks we can be silenced with casual force! She does not even have the courage to fight her own battles!" She spoke to rile the troops. They roared in agreement. "But she is wrong. Dead wrong! We may die here today, but for every one that they kill, kill a hundred more. We may die here today, but we will make her regret her crusade. We may die here today, but not before we sever every head of every fell beast and not before we make them scream our names!"

"We may die today, but we will make the universe remember us forevermore! Don't stop killing until every bastard here is dead!" This was met with a roar of enthusiasm. Then Akura did the unexpected, and led the army into a charge. Like a spear, it narrowed, pointing strait at Ephilia. By Akura's side were the remains of the Ilumni. Sora the Shadow Goddess, Keena the Goddess of the hunt, Iretha the Goddess of Strength, Kora the Goddess of Light, Faria the Goddess of Flame, Uria the Goddess of Justice and Thora, Goddess of Blood.

The initial charge was quite devastating. Piercing through the army like a bolt as angels, giants and demigods carved a bloody swathe through their foe. however their momentum suddenly slowed as they found themselves bogged down with fell beasts and space Krakens. Akura. The goddesses were killing things with ease, but their army was being stuck. Their numbers then began dwindling. Corrupted Illumni joined the fray. Keena went down from Yuthka the Defillers mighty lance.

"Akura! We're getting Slaughtered."

"Part of the plan."

"Bullshit! What part of the plan said that we get stuck."

"You obviously didn't read the briefing." Akura quipped back. Then caught sight of her target. She let her rage empower her, giving her new killing strength. "We just need to wait."

More and more died. A horrible ammount for this early in the battle, though considering what they were up against it was optemistic to assume they would get this far. Many had already died, more on Ephilia's side than Akura's, but it was worse for Akura.

Uria went down. No one was sure what killed her in the end, the amount of corrupted wounds she had taken or the blow to her head.

"Akura!"

"Shut up Kora. They're almost here."

"Who?"

"Phase 2 Reinforcements."

Suddenly from out of nowhere, the numbers on Akura's side doubled. People had teleported in, such a mass teleport taking considerable skill to pull off considering the army now around the spear of Akura's forces. Most notable of the reinforcements were Akura's Red Angels. They were an elite that made most elites look like little girls. Their wings mired in the thousands slain needed to join their ranks.

Then Akura's Forces which had been spread thin so shortly ago suddenly compressed. Then another charge was launched, right towards Ephilia. Sora and Kora died together, their hands entwinded as the lovers shared their last moments in life together. Akura noted their death with some pasing sadness. It evaporated when the urge to kill returned.

They kept moving, this charge not loosing it's momentum. In fact it seemed to be accelerating right towards the heart of the army. Iretha was killed and Faria found her flames extinguished and she dropped. Only Thora and Akura were left.

Akura turned to Thora. "One more for old times sake?"

Thora nodded, and they made one last push, which led them strait to Ephilia. Now they were right in front of the Corrupted Goddess herself. Akura's army were busy fighting the heart of Ephilia's forces, and Akura didn't know if they were doing well or not. She was taken aback by Ephilia. Inhaling and exhaling, she looked up and gave a small smirk.

"Ephilia, I presume?"

Hadrimmelis, indeed, was watching anime instead of functioning as an architect of stars. It was not as if she had merely been goofing off, after all. She did spend some time hanging out at Otis' place, and she was currently watching Blood Blockade Battlefront inside the Temple of Kazandor in Shamra, a temple built by people who had lived far before the Shattar had been born, dedicated to the image that the Shamrans had of her brother Kazayannú, a temple which, she had found out long ago, was pretty much abandoned and thus an excellent place to claim as her own. However, all of that didn't mean that she hadn't been productive. She had helped protect Earth from the Father of Evil and had in fact made him bleed and rent an eye from him, and she had also built a couple galaxy clusters before heading back to her hideout to continue watching her series.

But she was not quite sure why she thought of all of this. Perhaps she surmissed that Yamirakkelis was judging her, but she hadn't said anything about it.

"What problem is it, Yami?" The Black Dragon asked of her sister, concerned about whatever it was that had worried her. Yamirakkelis was intelligent, even for a World-Dragon, which functionally meant that she was the kind of genius mortals could only dream to be. Even if her power was not quite as great as that of a First Generation World-Dragon, her intellect more than made up for it. Thus, if there was a problem that she couldn't solve, then it was either truly beyond her capabilities, or it was a very delicate matter which had caused the sorcerous Dragon to seek her out for advice. Neither alternative was very appealing, but she decided that more conjectures were useless, she would wait to hear it from Yamirakkelis herself.

"You are quite intelligent, something we are quite proud of, so it is strange that you cannot solve this issue. But speak to me, and I will do everything possible to help you." Hadrimmelis stated solemnly, speaking both as a proud World-Dragon and as an elder sister, before grabbing a handful of chips from her bowl and eating them, casually passing the bowl along to Yami afterwards in case she wanted some. She hadn't eaten anything but chips in weeks, but it didn't matter, a World-Dragon's digestive system had no real function and couldn't be described as anything more than a bottomless pit, so she could eat as much as she wanted without having to worry about silly things like disease or her figure (which she could shapeshift to perfection anyways, as she already had). She knew she'd eventually be so sick of them that she wouldn't touch another chip for decades, but a decade was hardly a weekend for her and until that happened she intended to enjoy herself.

But that wasn't on her mind, of course. She had to help her sister.

Yami paused. "Thank you." She replied to the compliment, pausing once more. Perhaps she shouldn't have judged her sister so harshly for sitting on her dragon ass. Maybe she was just jealous, as she often was of her big sister. It was one of the few emotions which could cloud her judgement. Ironic, considering she was a ruler of an entire world.

She was proud too, which was why asking for help was hard. But she needed new eyes and perhaps her sisters experience in this issue.

"Three hours ago, an object landed on my shell. Near the southern continent." She spoke. She telepathically transmited an image of the monolith. "I allowed it to stay out of curiousity. The thing was odd, it had no soul which I could read and it's thoughts were... indiscernible, reading it provided nothing but numbers. I was intrigued with it, the thing was like nothing I had ever seen before. Had I known what would come out..."

"An hour later several humanoids came out and made their way to the Jhasai monetary. Attempts to contact them psychically didn't work either. Their minds were similarly obtuse... like reading the mind of a computer. Attempts to influence them similarly didn't work."

"They managed to get to the monastery. Which then suddenly went dark Psychically. I knew there were souls there, but I couldn't read their minds. By the time I got there it was too late."

She paused. "You see, the androids were missionaries. They managed to convince a few Yamirans to undergo a "Conversion" which transformed them into cybernetic beings. They have some sort of way of making humanoids more pliant. These converts then converted more, until the entire monastery was worshiping some strange machine god. I used spatial magic to teleport the androids off world and then their Monolith."

"The problem is, I was unable to rid the Yamirans of this... conversion. Now they're little more than mindless beings following the orders of some other beings" She sighed. "So my problem is twofold. One, I need to find a way to heal the converted and two If I can't... I need some sort of alternative. I also need some way to contain this before it goes any further. I'm unable to control or sense anyone with this odd virus, so they could have infiltrated other monasteries by now."

She took off her glasses, rubbing her temple. "This has become a complete mess... I should have tossed them off world the second they got here. They might even come back... I hadn't even considered that." She was obviously stressed. Very stressed.

Ephilia - Fallen Goddess Of Rebirth

Since the beginning of the conflict, Ephilia had watched on with amusement as the Celestial's launched strategy after strategy against the horde. Clever perhaps, but strategy meant nothing against insurmountable odds and nigh infinite numbers. The weight of hundreds of fallen Galaxy's slammed against the Celestial's defenses, and with time, cracks would emerge that they would readily exploit. For the duration of this battle, Ephilia had delegated command of the hordes to the Greater Succubi and Incubi. In the background, Ephilia would look for the commanders of the Celestial forces and deal with them herself. She wouldn't be waiting long it seemed.

The last thing Ephilia expected was a counter charge against the horde. The zeal of the enemy was enough to almost shatter the morale of the advance legions, but it mattered not. For every fallen demon or 'fallen', seven more were ready to take their place. The Celestial's seemed to realize this as well, and while they put up a ferocious fight, they slowly began to falter against superior numbers. When cracks formed in the enemy formation, the horde would swiftly move to fill it and isolate parts of the Celestial's forces. From there, they would descend upon the enemy and crush them. It was a slow strategy, but in a battle of attrition, the horde was superior.

Despite overwhelming losses, Ephilia looked on with excitement at the carnage before her. Her fellow remaining Ilumni had aligned themselves with the defenders instead of joining her like so many had already done. While disappointing, they would prove a valuable addition to the casualty count. With luck, perhaps Ephilia would be able to add some to her collection.

Then the angelic reinforcements arrived, and Ephilia found that it was time to intervene a bit. With a bit of magic, she effortlessly opened numerous portals above the battle, and to the ire of the defenders, even more waves of of 'fallen' poured out. Dark Angels and Ilumni riding fell beasts sprang forth from their residence within Ephlilia's personal plane.

"Go forth, and deal with this interlopers who seek to disrupt my attempts at rebirth for this Universe!" She rallied her forces with such simple words, and horde found itself invigorated mainly from the magick's of their goddess. As the battle began to swing into its final phase with the reinforcements between each side clashing in a brutal engagement, Ephilia turned her gaze to the Ilumni who had managed to charge through her forces. Figures that it would take her own race to be able to confront her. The horde ignored the two Ilumni, instead focusing on decimating the remaining Celestial's that were putting up a 'glorious last stand'.

"Ephilia, I presume?"

The fallen Goddess smiled at her fellow Ilumni that stood ready to strike her down.

"My my my, how observant. Yes, that would be I. Now, since this battle is coming to a close, I recommend you yield, and perhaps you'll find yourselves content with your brethren in my new Universe." Ephilia extended her hand in welcome.

"I hope you'll accept my invitation. I'm sure you'll make wonderful additions to my new reality. Otherwise...it'd be unfortunate if I had to..." she narrowed her eyes and licked her lips in anticipation. "Get violent."

"Yield?" Akura laughed. "So, let me see if I understand this correctly. You think that we fought through your hordes, had most of our friends killed in front of us, so we could yield to you?" She asked. "Exactly, how far is your head up you own ass?"

"We choose violence of course." Spoke Thora, her whip of blood cracking by itself. "A little bloodshed never hurt anyone." She spoke. She cracked her whip at Ephalia, a whip that had seared through entire mortal armies with the same effort one gives to tearing tissue paper. Meanwhile Akura got ready to exploit an opening.

Ephilia's smile disappeared almost instantaneously following the insults projected by her fellow Ilumni. How dare they speak that way to her? She remembered when they were but little deity's, vying for control over their people. She remembered before they became full fledged goddess' of an entire people. Ephilia refused to allow this slight against her to be taken so lightly.

"I'll show little ingrates like you where they belong!" Ephilia shouted angrily. Extending her hand, she grabbed the whip and held onto it firmly. From where Ephilia was, a tendril of darkness began to slither down the whip towards Thora. It appeared as though it was consuming the whip itself and it had every intent on binding Thora in place. Using her other hand, Ephilia shot forth a bolt of pure black energy towards Akura.

Now was a good time for her training to be used.

She was not the first leader of the Ilumni last alliance. The other was a much older being, who died not to Ephilia, but to a disease. Before that though, she taught Akura "Purification." Turning corruption to purity, darkness to light. But she didn't wish for her training to be revealed. No, she had to wait before she used it on Ephilia herself.

She quickly summoned a sheild, which blocked the bolt at the cost of the sheild. She then sped towards Ephilia before she could counter attack and summoned a sword, flanking her while she had one arm occupied with Thora's whip. She slashed at her foe, imbuing her blade with some of her purification power subtly.

Make no mistake, this is a final stand for many of us. Though I will try to see if she's aviable to talk or assist you. She very much would like to meet you" Soran remarked. "There are two other things that need to be done as well, if you do not mind of course." He spoke. "One, there is a weapon deep within this planet we believe the slimes may want. And two, we believe they may be summoning their... God. Stopping them may be in your interests as well in that case."

The princess looked up at Togara. She got up, nodding slightly. She was tall, about seven feet tall. The empress was even taller it was said, about the same height as the king. The Princess bowed. "It is an honour to meet you." She spoke with a soft and nervous voice. She was trained, but not tested in combat.

Marriac looked at Soran curiously, "Summoning their god? What exactly do you mean by that? Regardless, we will help you in the fight against these slim creatures. If you wish, I can send troops after this weapon of yours, and then the rest of my forces shall join your fight against these creatures to stop them from summoning their so called god." Marriac told him. "And do not bother the Empress if she is in battle, I was just merely wondering if she would be escaping with us. It would be a shame for her to be lost as well."

Meanwhile, Togora watched as the princess stood to greet him. She was quite beautiful, and around his height. He bowed his head slightly in respect. "My name is Togara your highness, son of King Marriac of the Yazara. We're here to protect you and take you away from the approaching invaders." He told her simply, and probably a little more calmly than was usual for this kind of situation. Togara had very little fear in death, and saw battle as just a part of life.

"Sounds like a good plan. We can prepare shuttles immediately."

"I am princess... Or... soon to be empress Yura." She spoke, bowing in response. "I understand. Though the Xyrixma may not let us go that easily. In adition we need to help evacuate the other civilians..."

The Princess and the Hulk
The Fall of Kandar

The princess and the Hulk arrived in the signature flash of rainbow that signified that they had been teleported via the Bifrost Bridge. They were above the planet, and not too far below they saw the giant forms of the Xyrixma battling much smaller figures. "Mother will be most displeased to hear this. Perhaps we should have ended it all there, upon Asgard when they first came," Valveig commented, beginning to draw out her sword.

"You know that even Valka could not have ended it there, not after the queen of the Xyrixima reduced her Godblast to nothing. It will take a full alliance to defeat the Xyrixma, and perhaps this will serve as a wakeup call." Erza countered

Valveig nodded absentmindedly, cocking her head, as if listening to something. "The wind speaks of an empire, Kandar, that will soon be reduced to naught. The Xyrixma have already conquered many of their outworlds, and now, they seek to take the capital world. It is also said that the Slimes may be summoning their god, which does not bode well, but my mother will wish to know of this. The Kandarian fleet has been destroyed, and members of the Yazara have come, to evacuate as many Kandarians as possible."

"Then let us go buy them the time that they need, shall we?" Erza asked, unsheathing her own weapons.

"I thought you'd never ask," Valveig stated, chuckling, drawing out Battleborne and charging towards the slime creatures, Erza doing the same. The two Asgardians did not announce their presence by a battlecry, instead, they simply plunged their swords into the back of a Xyrixima and sliced downwards, holding on to their swords, the force of gravity pulling them and their swords down, Erza sending out a wave of Frost through her sword with a shouted word. And when they had landed, Valveig, not wanting to give the Xyrixma a chance to reform, called the Wind by its name. And the wind came, and spinning her sword , she created a vortex to disperse the sliced pieces of the Xyrixma, afterwards increasing the air pressure around the creature to hopefully crush. Meanwhile, Erza shouted another word, Force, and as her blast went out, she shifted into her Hulk form and leaped, bringing two fists down upon another slime creature, shouting, "SMASH!"

Valveig, turning her head, spotted what appeared to be the Empress, her guards being cast aside, the slime creatures steadily advancing. The Empress' cloak was trapped, and she looked upward, at the giant foot of the Xyrixima, breathing a prayer as it came down upon her. But Valveig had seen it, and with the speed of the wind she ran, reaching the empress in a half second. Pausing for a moment, she outstretched her hand and a strange symbol appeared upon the ground, Valveig then grabbing the Empress and the rest of her guards, carrying them out of harm's way before setting them down.

When the Xyrixma's foot came down, a tornado emerged, engulfing that Xyrixima, and wheeling towards the rest quickly, while Erza let loose in her hulk form. Seeming a little tired, but still joyful, Valveig gave a nod to the Kandarian Empress in respect. "That should hold them for a while. I am Valveig Silverhand, daughter of Valka Silverhand, the All-Mother of Asgard. That," she said, pointing, "is Erza Songheart, also of Asgard. We came to buy thee and thy people a little more time to evacuate."

"Thank you." Spoke the empress as she got up, groaning. She was not used to being this frail. "Ever since I gave the royal Blood to my Daughter, I have been getting weaker and weaker..." She spoke. She looked around as her troops were holding off the first wave of Xyrixma. But the Empress could already see the reinforcements. The wave was scarcely finished and there was another group.

She turned to the two of them. "There's not much time." She pointed to a structure in the distance. A massive library made from gilded gold that was forged to be superdense. "There is where the artifact they want is." She then pointed at another, the Xyrixma's foothold. There there seemed to be some sort of makeshift camp. It seemed to be glowing with light. "They want a dagerous artifact from the library and my sources tell me they're summoning their god in the camp. Whichever one you go to, I'll take the army to the other. I can spare a few units to go with you, but not many."

"You'll have to choose."

It was almost sad how badly they underestimated Ephilia. The Goddess let go of the whip, but the tendril of darkness continued along the whip as though it had a mind of its own. It sought to devour whatever was on the other end of the weapon. Ephilia's instant transmission in front of Thora came as a surprise to the young Goddess and Ephilia smiled at her before planting a kiss on her lips. Her tongue expertly dominated Thora's as she sapped the willpower from the girl, and after what felt like ages to Thora did Ephilia break their kiss.

"I can assure you, there's much more where that came from my dear," she assured and caressed Thora's cheek. The look in the Goddess' eyes was almost lifeless, as if all form of resistance that she held before had been purged from her body. Thora nodded eagerly, and Ephilia gave her another peck on the cheek.

"Now, kill your dear friend. Will you?" Ephilia asked Thora and the latter nodded in ascent. The tendril of darkness, now merged with the whip, lashed out towards Akura at Thora's command. Ephila stood behind Thora, eager to see the former comrades fight each other.

"It's not too late little Akura. I can make you more powerful than you could ever dream. There's still a place for you in my new reality." Ephilia reiterated. She didn't expect Akura to relent, but it was worth a shot. If Thora was to fall in combat, then Ephilia would simply force Akura to become her champion next. It was a continual proccess.

"I'm no one's lackey Ephilia. War is no one's servant." She replied, parying the whip and wrapping it around her blade, which suddenly shortened as she Yanked thora her way, suddenly slamming a fist into the goddess gut, then one into her face. Then kicking her repeatedly untill she simply was knocked out. She had fed on the combat and rage here, putting her above the now unconcious goddess. But was it enough for Ephilia? "And I'd hate to leave a good battle half done." She then smiled.

"Come on Ephilia. Don't you want to say that you fought war herself?" She taunted. "I might even let you win if your fun enough."

Hannah and Roy sat close together on a small private plane that John had lent them. Their hands were interlocked and they were currently fast asleep as the pilot in the front of the cabin flew them across the country. They were currently flying toward South America, to small private island that Roy had discovered during his mercenary days. However, Hannah knew none of this. She had been kept frustratingly in the dark by Roy. This was going to be his gift to her, after all, it was their 1 year anniversary of them beginning their relationship together, and Roy had wanted to do something special for it.

Suddenly Hannah felt a bump. Either landing or turbulence, so she awoke and looked around “Are we there yet?” Asked Hannah groggily. “Wherever “There” happens to be?” She squeezed Roy’s hand, wondering if he was awake. She had been quite impatient about this whole exercise, not sure what to think, plus she didn’t like waiting.

Still, it was cool to go somewhere. She had never been out of the US before, or away from her sisters, whom only let her out on this trip if she let Sam cast a new tracking spell on her. She had learned it from DeeDee, so of course it hurt.

Roy had heard Hannah's questions but hadn't opened her eyes until she squeezed his hand. He couldn't help but smile. His girlfriend was not the patient type. He looked at his phone, and the crew in front had in fact informed him that they had arrived. The windows were blocked out however. That was intentional as to not ruin the surprise.

Roy turned to Hannah, a bright smile on his face. "Yup we're here. And don't worry, you'll find out soon enough sweetie. You'll love it, I promise." He said confidently before starting to stand up, still holding Hannah's hand as they stepped out of their seats to grab their luggage.

The plane door opened and Roy slowly lead Hannah outside. It was early morning as the beautiful https://i.ytimg.com/vi/wbxGZNo-q5A/maxresdefault.jpg island came into view. Roy turned to Hannah, a smile still on his face. "Welcome to Paz Oculto, Hannah, happy anniversary."

Hannah look around, her eyes wide as she looked at the picturesque tropical island. She gasped slightly as she looked around, taken aback by what she saw. "Wow..." She spoke. She walked forward a bit as she felt the sand under her toes, she smiled. She had never been to the beach. She had never been to a place anywhere near this wonderful. She turned to Roy. "This is amazing." She laughed slightly as she looked around again.

Roy smiled brightly when he heard Hannah's small laugh, stepping on the sand next to Hannah and taking her hand gently. "I'm glad you like it. I found this place a while back, you know, before I met the Justice Queens. I called it Paz Oculto, which is 'hidden peace' in Spanish."

"I figured we could spend the weekend here together. There's a bunch forests, beachs, and even a few waterfalls." Roy said, unable to contain his smile, quite proud of his idea to bring Hannah there.

"Roy It's-"

Hannah woke and cursed as she realised she had been sleeping. She looked down to see Wolf moving forward, though he did so slowly so that Hannah would not fall to the ground during the ride. It had also been nice of him to wear a saddle, though she suspected it was partially Bear's convincing that made him do that, since he seemed very annoyed about it.

"Finally awoke pup?" Asked wolf.

"I guess. Though this all seems like a dream now that I think about it." She looked around. She now stood in a field, just about to go over a hill. A little more movement and they could get to the top.

"Hmph."

She looked to her new weapons. The Bear Sheild and Hammer. "Okay, what do these things do exactly?"

"You'll have to find out?"

"What?"

"You heard me pup. Find out for yourself. Finding yourself is part of this whole sprit journey after all."

"Ugh. Could you be any more annoying."

"I could make you walk. Remember who's back your riding on and you may find your ride more enjoyable." The wolf spoke.

They got to the top of the hill and then Wolf looked down. Then his eyes narrowed.

"Whoa." Hannah spoke.

There was a small basin in the plains from where the hill ended, allowing Hannah to see their destination: The large Jungle tree's of Panthers domain. But between them and the Jungle was what seemed to be clones of Hannah, but they had... defects. Some of their heads were cracked like eggs, while some of them had arms missing. Some were the wrong colour, while others had half beast forms. There must have been about 15 of them by hannah's count.

"What are they...?" She asked, warily she got out her hammer and shield, each indicative of the spirit of the bear.

"Shards." Spoke Wolf. "They were as much the protectors of your world as us. It was how we knew... you. But now they're broken." He frowned. "Some more were born to try and take this world back, but whenever they failed this world was plunged back into the dark."

"You yourself are a shard, but you're special somehow... Not that it matters really." Wolf spoke, then sighed. "We should be able to pass through. They don't get violent usaully..."

"Right." Wolf began to head down towards the group. Though unbeknownst to either of them, they were being watched.

In the void above Hannah's mind, there was an infinite, neverending blackness, and in that blackness was a figure. A female figure which looked a lot like Hannah, but with a cruel smile and horns singling her out.

She is no threat. A gnat. I can crush her at any time.

Still. It is amusing to see her struggle. To fight her inner self. She had given me so much grief in the beginning, it seems only fair to torture her shattered mind now.

The collosal figure extended a hand, casting an invisable shadow on the inner world of Hannah. She then watched as energy collected on the hand. Several points of light twinkled there.

SIx humanoid figure formed from the light. Each shared the beings cruel smile.

Go forth. Hound her. Kill her if you wish, but only after much suffering and anguish.

The six beings spread out, becoming white orbs which went to different places on Hannah's world.

One landed right in the middle of the shards.

Hannah suddenly noticed a white orb descend from nowhere, Hannah's eyes widened as it suddenly took a very familiar form.

"S-sam!"

Her sister looked strait and Hannah with a warm smile. But wolf knew better.

"Do not be fooled Pup! That is a Dark One! They will take the form of those you love most, warping them."

Sam laughed. "Wow. You actually fell for that. You thought I was going to come and help you." She smiled a cruel smile now. "I guess that's why we call you the stupid sister."

Hannah growled.

"No! We head for the jungle. You are not ready to fight her."

"Shut up Wolfy!" She got off Wolf and then looked at Sam. "No one uses my sister against me! No one! You hear!"

Sam just laughed, which enranged Hannah further. Suddenly she found herself leaping to her Sister. Her leap was much higher than before. Then she slammed her hammer down on Sam.

The resounding boom was quite impressive, creating cracks in the ground and triggering tremors, but her sister was no longer there.

"Huh? Where...?"

Suddenly she felt herself blasted by one of her sisters beams of darkness. She yelped as she felt it sting.

"You know, we talk behind your back all the time. About how you're so dumb. It's just so funny, don;t you think."

Hannah rubbed her back with the hammer. That blow would have killed normal her. This magic get up really helped. "Your not my sister. Just some bitter figment of my imagination or something." Perhaps she should listen to wolf.

"We also talk about how dangerous you are." She spoke. Hannah's eyes narrowed at that. "How you can't be trusted..."

"Shut up." Her voice loosing it's confidence and going higher in pitch.

"What? It's true." Sam spoke, faking a hurt voice. "You always turn into a monster when you get upset. You can't be controlled, you can even control yourself. Sarah and I have to look out for ourselves too..."

"Shut up."

"Your far more trouble than your worth. Sure you help on a bank job or two, but me and Sarah can do it on our own. After all all you do is carry the money. All I need is a levitation spell and that's your job gone."

"That was one time." Hannah spoke, her voice choking and croaking. She had to stop tears from coming to her eyes. Was this what Sam really thought. "I...I help loads."

"And how many times do you get upset and turn? Last time you lost your Teddy you burned down the hotel. And the time after that someone just bumped into you."

"That was five years ago..."

"And you haven't got any better!" Spoke Sam. "We've taken care of you for so long.

She suddenly felt horrible. Worthless. SHe gritted her teeth. Had she really been such a paraiste? Perhaps she was better off back in the darkness. Without a name. At least she didn't hurt anyone. Don't cry. Don't cry.

"We should have just left you with the house. What a shame." She spoke. "Sarah and I discussed plans. We're going to get rid of you once we leave disneyland."

Hannah's guilt turned to rage, she picked up her hammer and ran towards her sister. "LIAR"

"LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!" She shouted, then swung her hammer. But Sam stopped it with a mere finger.

"So pathetic. It will be easier to get rid of you that I though." She flicked Hannah and she fell back, grunting. But she was suddenly saved by wolf.

They then leaped into the jungle. Sam cursed. She couldn't follow them in there.

"It's all a lie pup!"

Hannah shook her head. "What?"

"You already left Florida. The Island with your mate. Remember!"

Hannah's eyes widened. "I'm such an idiot! She played me."

"Worse than that. She weakened your will. If she had done that a bit more, she would have broken you like those shards." Wolf Spoke.

"It' matters not for now though, for we should be safe here.... For now."

"I fought a queen of Darkness. So I suppose Demons can't be much worse." She spoke. She nodded to the two of them. "Plus, we don't want to leave you two alone against waves of demons."

Auia smiled. "So it's decided! We'll be the Fellowship of the Spectrum." She spoke, which earned an odd look from Ihra, if not the others. "Spectrum? Lights. Colours. We got me, living embodiment of what makes the world so lovely, hue, shade, tone and contrast!" She sped towards the two brother and sister and wrapped arms around their shoulders. "We got the contrasting duo! Light and Dark." She slid towards the two sisters, moving so smoothly she seemed like some sort of skater. "We got the one with the rainbow sword," Auia then pointed at Etla, pausing. "Um..." She thought. Then she shrugged and smiled. "Okay. I haven't got a thing for you. Maybe the name needs work. But I think we'd make an awesome team to... do whatever we're doing? Something about demons right?"

"We're fighting demons so they'll stop harasing Serene and Darian."

"Yes! That!" She spoke excitedly.

"Hiro. That's the point of love. If a person changes, you're suppose to still love them." Claudia explained. She sighed. "The problem I had was when you betrayed my trust. That's what made me upset. I hated feeling so... disrespected by the one I loved. "

She paused. "But. Though I can love you, and I think we should be together, I think we need to talk about our relationship. Work things out a little." Claudia had surprisingly thought about this. She had considered these things. It was why she was so ready to accept his apology. "Firstly, we're going to live together. Mostly for Tomia's sake. Two parents are better than one, even if one is more of a giant red nanny." She explained. "We also need to be more honest and open with one another. Tell each other everything. Got it?"

Hiroshi:

For a moment, Hiroshi almost forgot where he was. Flooded earth and dying grass being replaced by soft grass and a gentle breeze. Instead of Claudia, he stood several feet back from his uncle, both of them wearing an impassive glare. If Oniyo had made him realize one thing, it was that he wanted more than what he had. He didn't want a girlfriend and a child that he could barely call his own. He wanted a family, he wanted something to come home too.

"I want a family." He finally answered honestly, his eyes staring up at her. " I don't want something short term anymore. I want to be able to make something here, on this planet."

He didn't want to argue, or fight, the idea now. He could always deny it before, that he wanted to be anything more than a warrior, but losing Tomia and Claudia in the space of a few days had opened his eyes, and the tension building in his frame was so apparent it might have manifested itself in a physical form. When he looked back at Tomia, then back to Claudia, he could feel a wave of anxiety flush within him, the longer she waited to respond only piling more on him.

Claudia paused. Was she beeing too forgiving? She had just forgave the man who had cheated on her and now he wanted to have a family with her. She paused, then looked at Ezika and Tomia. She then nodded. "But." She frowned, slightly, not an angry one, but a stern but fair one. "Your going to have to prove to me that your serious. You're going to have to show me you're not going to go back on your word and that you will make the commitment to me and Tomia. Do you understand?"

Well that couldn't of been more anti-climatic. Thora was brutally beaten down until only Ephilia had remained to fight Akura. Ephilia wrapped her arm around her own torso and pursed her lips together as she thought about how to deal with Akura. It wasn't that Ephilia thought she couldn't defeat Akura, but there was just so many options at her disposal.

"Well, it's been a while since I've gotten my hands dirty." Ephilia was briefly consumed in a dark light that engulfed her entire figure. Upon its dissolution, the goddess was adorned in her personal battle armor. Not wasting anymore time mincing words, Ephilia charged towards Akura.

Akura managed to dodge, though it was a pretty darn close call. Only experience and skill saved her from whatever attack Ephilia was keen to unleash, since the greater Ilumni was faster than Akura. Though this did give Akura the perfect opportunity to counter. She didn't expect to do any damage, but she needed to buy time.

The Goddess of War formed a blade of the best Ilumni forging, then channeled her rage into an attack on her enemy. She swing upwards with the attack, an attack which most mortals could not hope to match, empowered by godly might.

Marriac nodded to Soran and then asked a question, "What about the Princess and the civilians we wish to evacuate? Should we leave them here while we go off to battle?"

Togora merely shrugged at the Princess' words. "These Xyrixma have not yet felt the wrath of Asugar. They would never be able to stand against my father in combat." Togara assured, having not yet been humbled by age like the king had.

"Don't worry. The princess has given herself the task of evaucation, hopefully with the help of your son. We did protest but she was quite insistent she help in that regard." Soran replied.

The Princess then frowned. "These things dismanted my mothers entire empire like it was a cake to be devoured." She replied. "Don't underestimate them please. They're very dangerous." She explained. Then moved towards the door. "Now we should get to work moving and protecting the civilians. We have a good deal of them ready to go already. We just need to find the ones trapped in the catacomb bunkers."

Valveig nodded, looking at their two choices. If the situation would've been less dire she would've inquired about this Royal Blood, as she sensed there was an interesting story behind it, but that would have to wait until they survived. If they survived, that is. Erza, finishing her demolition of the Xyrixma, joined them, and Valveig summed up their choices. "Dangerous artifact, or summoning of a Xyrixma god?" she asked, getting straight to the question. Erza thought for a moment, before responding. "I don't like the sound of a Xyrixma god? I think we have to stop that..." she mused off, not liking the look of the glowing at all.

"I think you're right," Valveig responded. "But little time for subtlety and intelligence gathering. We've got to hit that tent with everything we've got, and keep hitting them. Mother has told me of what their queen can do, I don't want to see what their god can do." And, giving their decision to the queen, taking along the few soldiers she could lend, Erza and Valveig simply charged. A haphazard strategy, one might say, but there was little time for strategy, in their opinion. Trying not to alert to their presence, again, there were no battle cries, to the disappointment of the Asgardians. And so, they rushed toward the camp, Valveig running with the speed of the wind, adrenaline keeping the soldiers close behind.

They did not meet any resistance during the charge. In fact the camp seemed surprisingly empty from their distance. Erza frowned as they ran, suddenly having a very bad feeling about this. Could this be some sort of ambush? They pushed further into the camp, now slowing down their pace.

"This is a trap... They pl" Erza muttered. Then smiled. "So, these slimes have brains after all." She remarked.

"Actually I think you'll find they don't." One soilder spoke up. "We did auto-" He suddenly stopped when he saw Erza's raised eyebrow. "Oh. Figure of speech. Got it."

She smiled. "Don't worry warriors of Kandar. If they surround us, it just means we can fight in any direction we please."

Suddenly, as if fate itself heard her words, suddenly several Xyrixma came out from the ground itself. Each was as large as two frost giants, about twenty feet each. In all there seemed to be about ten.

"You didn't lie about them being big." Erza quipped.

"These are the small ones."

"Really?!" Erza replied with surprise. "Oh this should be fun."

"HEY! Who the heck are you calling small!" Shouted one Xyrixma.

"You slimeball." Taunted Erza. She suddenly grew herself. "Your going to be even smaller when I'm done with you. Small enough to fit in a grave."

The Slime roared as she attacked Erza, who shouted some unknown words, freezing the slime in place before she slammed her fist into it, cracking goo as it was sent flying back.

"Ha! I've met women with hearts colder than this lot." Akihiko stated as he charged head first into the fray, intending to finish the battle quickly. Despite his boast, if one could even call that a boast, he found the cold quite annoying and distracting, and did not want things to drag on for too long. He simply hoped that the magical green fire engulfing Kusanagi would be enough to destroy the vengeful ice spirits. Meanwhile, Garnet gave a disinterested look at the group of Yuki Onna approaching, and then looked at her weapons, meditating for a moment before opting to discard both the sword and the gauntlet for the time being, believing that the pistol would suffice, as it would deal devastating spiritual damage to these ghosts.

"You know, I wish we could simply skip over the smaller fries and get straight to the point. Clearly only the boss of the stage is going to be any challenge at all." The blonde woman remarked casually as she began firing away at the frozen spectres.

Fire was somewhat helpful in stemming the tide of ghosts, but it seemed more and more were flooding in, like a mass of spirits. "The problem with small fries is when there are so many of them." Muttered Akari. She fired a few explosive shots, mostly trying to keep them from surrounding Aki or the group as a whole. Masami unleashed hew own foxfire on the Yuki onna, but no matter what they did, it didn't stop the tide of ghosts. In fact it seemed like they were even increasing in volume, and the room was getting colder and cold.

Akari had an idea, just when it seemed like too much to handle. "Akihiko! Masami! Quickly use your fire on the room as a whole, to warm it up! Then the ghosts will thaw!" She shouted, before she begun to get a little overwhelmed.

Julie was quiet as she watched the two of them. She looked at his mother and politely nodded. "Hello Miss... Good to meet you." She had said this perhaps a little more absently, but that's because she was trying to remember what her parents were like, it was surprisingly hard. She could remember details with stark clarity while other things remained fuzzy. She felt immediately guilty for not being more present for this rather touching moment and rather thinking of her own self. Julie then let Otis talk to his mother.

Kirisvala was, needless to say, quite surprised by the man's agility, and was too slow to react to the knife, mereely watching it approach only to be swatted away by Nico's sand-fist, saving her life. The Hadrian heroine was far too shocked to notice how one-sided the rest of the fight was, however, and instead looked intetly at the knife, which had fallen tho the ground after having been knocked aside and hitting the wall. A hand instinctively went up to her throat (it did not harm her, as Hadrians were perfectly aware of how to keep from harming themselves with their claws) as she looked at it, her face turning slightly pale. She had been a moment away from dying, and it was a rather rattling experience. However, she knew that there would be danger, and she also knew that she couldn't just freeze in the middle of a mission, so she controlled herself and walked up to the others as Nico interrogated Jordan. It was quite the sad sight, a boy so angry at being betrayed by the people close to him. Not knowing what else to do or what to say, she simply stood back as they waited for Xyri to report back.

Cat sighed, shaking her head as she touched Jordan on the temple, knocking him out. She had quite the crush on Jordan growing up. That had faded with time, but she always felt he was a friend. She bit her lip in an attempt to stop herself from crying. She rubbed her eyes. She now knew some things about swordfighting, but it was twinged with Jordans memories. Happy and bad. She couldn't yet make sense of them.

She went to nico, putting an hand on his shoulder. "Nico..." She started. Then just left it at that. She reasoned he might need a little reassurance or something.

"Right." Xyri slid through to the basement. "Still have no idea what's going on." She muttered. It was part a lack of understanding of some of the concepts underlying this whole thing. She poked her head out of an air condition at the basement, seeing several people standing around in suits. "There are a bunch of people standing around talking. Some of them have guns and there are cases of something. I can't see what's in them." She whispered.

"Oh, that is obvious my dear. How do you think I have avoided being thrown into jail for so long?" Sarah responded to John's playful statement. Once the two were dressed, Sarah opened the door of their room and walked outside, clad in a simple white shirt and black skirt combo that was nothing special, yet seemed so very stylish and attractive when worn by her, much like any other piece of clothing, a side effect of her powers that had saved her countless hours of picking out her outfits throughout her life. Why would she worry about such things when she'd look great in anything she decided to wear?

"Hm? How do I know? Oh, instinct. I have been taking care of these girls since I was ten, you know?" Sarah said in order to answer John's question, giggling a little at the thought. Time really did fly, she mused, realizing that she had been taking care of her sisters for fifteen years. "Alright, we should get Hanah first." The eldest of the Grimm sisters decided on a whim, before starting the short walk from her room to the room of the youngest of her sisters. She knew that Hanah was a total sleepyhead and that she was not going to take very kindly to her sister trying to wake her up so early (or at any time of the day, really), but still, Sarah was used to it by now, and if Hanah started complaining, she'd simply tell the wolf girl that next time she simply wouldn't bother to get her up for breakfast. That usually did the trick and got her to stop whining. With that in mind, the pale woman knocked on her sister's door.

Hannah groaned as she heard the knock on the door. She rolled slightly, though in the attempt to roll over to cover her ears from her sisters knocking she found herself falling off the bed. "Wuuu...?" She spoke before she suddenly felt herself fall with a bump on the floor. She let out a yelp like a hurt animal and suddenly stood up in alert. She then groaned as she felt her drowsiness kick in after realising it was merely her sister. She tried in vain to unmess her hair, but groaned when it refused. She got to the door and looked at Sarah. "Morning sis..." She spoke sleepily. She then looked at her watch. "Are we under attack?"

Not noticing at first, she proceeded to catch her opponents foot with her Halberd, blocking it and pushing her leg to the side. She smiled, then frowned slightly, she felt a stinging at her face. Bringing her hand up to her cheek she felt the sticky feeling of blood. The cut was shallow, but it was enough to make the girl stop.

She... touched me. She actually touched my... perfect face. Her fists clenched around her Halberd. That bitch cut me... She can't do that! She can't! She can't! I can't let her!

Her thoughts became erratic, but her movements became more precise, faster and with more force as her desperation to make sure her foe didn't have a chance to mar her perfect features further. She sped towards her foe, stabbing with her halberd forward in a strike meant to brutally skewer her foe, though she also sent a white hot burning ray of nuclear heat, death and radiation her way.

This battle was over before it began, but Elena had hoped she'd be able to skewer one of the aggressors before she was forced to leave her companions to their fate. Already, two of them had died, and the only ally she had left was demoralized and quaking at the sight of her mutilated friends. Using speed that she had been reluctant to reveal beforehand, Elena shot herself through one of the church windows in a desperate attempt to escape a grisly fate.

"THIS ISN'T OVER!" Elena shouted from a neighboring rooftop.

"I'll be back..." she muttered to herself before taking off into the night, leaving the single remaining magical girl in the church to her fate.

Said magical girl was awestruck at the sudden and brutal deaths of her compatriots. That this single girl could...kill them...with such ease was frightening. The power of these two was overwhelming, and in a panic she threw her weapon to the ground. She didn't want to die.

"P-Please....I-I'm sorry," the girl croaked as tears started to stream down her face.

"Please don't kill me....I don't want to die..." the girl then fell to her knees and started to bawl in earnest. Kika calmly approached her and placed a reassuring smile on the young magical girl's head.

"It's alright." Kika said while giving off a warm smile. The girl looked up pleadingly and with a glimmer of hope in her eye.

"I'll make it quick." Kika said with an ounce of glee in her voice. Then the young magical girl felt nothing as her world faded to black. Kika's hook blades had severed the young girls head from her body and left a trio of corpses around Kimiko's subordinate. Kika would be eager to show her best friend what she had done for her.

Kimiko frowned as she rubbed her cheek. The cut was mending itself already, being quite shallow. Lucky for the magical girl, it wouldn't scar. She was still angered by it. She looked to Kika. "None left? Shame. I wanted to cut off someones head for this indignity." She spoke. She grabbed part of one of the magical girl dresses and used it to mop up the blood on her face. She then regarded Kika. "Good job though. Their leader was surprisingly quick." She frowned as she looked at the blood and managed to incinerate the cloth in her rage. She calmed herself. This outrage was unbeffiting of her and would cloud her soul gem needlessly. "We should dispose of the bodies and then find a place to eat. Wouldn't want to be hunting down our new 'friend' on empty stomachs now would we?"

There was a flash of lightning in the new york underbelly.

"Huh. He's here..."

Katie removed her goggles and looked up slightly, as if sniffing the air for something. Her bloodshot eyes made contact with the light of the moon. She kept her eyes on it for a second. Xander was here. A hand tightened slightly on the tools which she was using. She had gained a considerable amount of knowledge about her powers, allowing their range to extend.

Besides, once you've been in a mans brain, you know when he's here...

She wanted to kill him. Make him suffer as she did. Her hands sparked with energy for a moment as rage consumed her thoughts.

"Hheeeeellllllppppp..." A voice droned out. Katie looked down. Her subject was mewling and struggling. Seems she had reactivated her brain too early while wrapped up by her anger. She sighed.

"Sorry about this..." She spoke blankly. Putting her bloody tools down. "You're not supposed to be alive. But this is as good a time as any to ask, how are you feeling?"

The subject paused. "I... I can't feel my legs. What did you do to my legs?"

"I cut them off."

"What...? Why?"

"It'd take some explaining." She moved her chair so she could now see the eyes of her patient, blue and full of fear. She had black hair, and was rather pretty. Katie tried her best to give a reasuring smile. "Again. Your not supposed to be alive. At least as the moment. But your brain-structure is just what I'm looking for..."

Katie paused. "You see, I'm trying to make an android. But the ones I make are somewhat imperfect. They don't have the full range of human emotions, or at least the ones I want them to have. So I need to use an organic base now and build off that."

"But... Why? I... I didn't do anything wrong..."

"I know. You were going to die soon anyway." Katie replied, she looked away now, looking through her tools. It was hard to look at the girl, despite the fact Katie was emotionally numb, it was hard doing this. "Lung cancer. You had very little time left." Katie didn't need to look at her to tell her eyes were wide with shock.

"Your baby is taken care of by the way. I arranged for a rich family to take her." She spoke. She then moved to the back of her.

"I... Oh god..."

"Oh yes. Last prayers. You should finish them soon. I'm not bringing you back again after this. Or at least... not as you."

"But why me?"

"I told you. Brainpatterns. Waves. Plus you were dying. Felt less guilt that way." She spoke. "You know... She didn't do anything wrong either."

"Wha-"

"Cora."

The girl had no time to ask before her brain simply was shut off. No more nueral impulses, no more anything. Then it was turned back on again, in a very reduced capacity. As if she were in a coma.

She inhaled, then exhaled. "I've got to make this right." She muttered. "No matter what it takes..."

"No matter how long it takes."

Another flash of lightning silhouetted Katie against a backdrop of tanks. Each with another human being in them.

"No matter how many it takes..."

Kika's heart fluttered at the compliment directed at her by Kimiko. The serial killer blushed a furious read and looked away. Kimiko really did like the way she killed those interlopers....and she wanted her to get rid of the bodies as well. In Kika's warped mind, this translated as Kimiko having a great deal of trust in the magical girl, and enough so that she'd give the younger magical girl the privilege of cleaning up their joint mess.

"Kimiko wants to go get something to eat.....this couldn't be...a date?!" Kika thought to herself as she smeared blood across her face in excitement.

"Don't worry! I'll have the familiars take care of it!" Kika threw one of her grief seeds in the air. As a wave of black light overtook it, a trio of familiars emerged and stood before hte magical girl duo. No words had to be exchanged as Kika telepathically ordered the drones to clean up this mess. They would oblige like the loyal servants they were.

"So!" Kika started and stared at her best friend excitedly.

"Where we gon' eat huh?"

"That works." Kimiko spoke with a smile. Quite the commendable solution to their problem. "Though we should also clean up the mess of blood on your clothes too." She remarked, being the neat freak she was she didn't like things not being tidey, much less the blood of those unworthy girls getting on her favorite magical girl friend. She smiled widely when Kika asked where they were going.

"Oh Kika we're going to eat well tonight." Spoke the magical girl. "We're going to go to one of the finest Italian restaurants in Gotham. The five star "Casa di Maria". I've never been, and I thought the eve of our victory should be a nice time to give it a visit."

"It should be quite the treat for the both of us." She spoke. "Doesn't it sound nice?"

Kika was practically melting at the sound of her superiors voice and her description of the wonderful 'date' they were going to have. At the expense of a miniscule amount of magical energy, Kika's clothes slowly began to look cleaner as the blood evaporated in what looked like extreme heat. Not quite how physics worked, but this was magic.

"Physics go fuck yourself," Kika muttered under her breath and gave a little twirl when her appearance appeared to be presentable. The familiars, meanwhile, were still in the process of cleaning the blood and corpses from the church, but they could easily handle it while the duo was gone.

"So does that mean I can get some of that Chicken Alfredo stuff? My Uncle used to make that stuff. Said it was a...limosuine...cuisine?" Kika rambled for a bit in order to entertain her favorite magical girl.

Kimiko smiled as she saw her friend and ally twirl. She really did look pretty in that dress. She then took her hand in her own as she lead the both of them towards the restaurant. She was also quite happy with this turn of events, the two of them sharing a table at fancy restaurant. She was not at all phased by the fact that just a little while ago they had killed several people in brutal and horrific fashion, and were now leaving little gremlins to clean up the mess for them. This sort of thing was a regular reality for magical girls like Kimiko and Kika.

"Sure. I see no reason why not. It's an Italian restaurant after all, they're bound to have that sort of thing." Kimiko spoke. After a little bit of walking and chatting they found themselves in front of a very fancy Italian restaurant. Not too packed, and so they were able to get a table with little trouble. Kimiko couldn't help but smile at the ambiance and how nice this place looked. She had truly made a wondrous choice, as was to be expect of her.

"So, Kika. What do you plan on having?"

The Republic of Atria wrote:"You know who else could use some tacos?" Naja asked as they returned home. She didn't need to explain who she was talking about, they both knew out of anyone, Otis could use a friend at the moment. Rather than using a motherbox to go from Praetoria to Attilan, they decided to fly and not scare him with the loud shock of a boom tube. It took a few minutes, but it was more polite. When they got to his home, the stech of something that had been burned filled the air. It was coming from his apartment. Naja knocked and heard Otis inside.

"It's open. Come in." Was the reply. They opened to find him with an Urn. "Mom said she always wanted to be cremated. I don't know about any crematoriums, so I did it myself. She hated funerals." He said without directly facing the two that entered his room. Placing the urn on a shelf he sat down on his couch and stared at the TV. Which was off. "I've had a bad day. I got into a fight... My mother died for the second time... Yeah... I've definitely seen better days." Despite all that having happened to him, he seemed surprisingly calm.

Naja sat next to him, placing her arm around him. "It's okay. We're your friends. We're gonna help you get through this. When was the last time you ate something? If there was ever a time for comfort food... It's now."

"I don't know... Suicide by ice cream sounds pretty cool..." He let out a small smile at his pun. "Mind if I call a friend? You guys know Julie, right? the Green Lantern?"

"Oh yeah. Sure. I'm sure she'd enjoy some time off." Xander said. "I know her. We were on a team awhile back. Nice girl. She your girlfriend?"

"No! Yes! Maybe! I don't know. She's really nice. And kinda cute. I know a good place where we could go. I need to get my mind off this whole thing for a few minutes. I think we should stay in Attilan. Xander, you'd be the only normal looking person if we were to go outside the city. I'm not in the mood to be stared at."

"I do miss Attilan a bit. Call Julie and we'll make it a double date."

"It's not a date, Okay." He said and grabbed his mother box. The name of the device wasn't helping him forget, but he'd be damned if it wasn't a great piece of technology. "Send a message to Julie." "Hey Julie. It's Otis. Xander and Naja are here asking if we want to go out on the town with them. I've had a rough day and I could use a friend right now. If you're busy, that's cool. Anyways, reply when or if you can." He said and sent the message to her ring.

Julie got the message, excusing herself from Manifest as soon as she was reasonably able. She took a teleported strait to Attilan. It didn't take her too long to scan for the omega energy, though she could have scanned for other signs of Otis' presence. She then flew towards him, seeing Alex and Naja, she gave them a warm smile.

"Hey Otis." She spoke. "You said you had a rough day, so I decided to put work on hold." She spoke. "Thought I'd skip the reply and head on over myself..."

She then awkwardly paused, idly figetting with her ring. "So... what's up?"

The Republic of Atria wrote:Naja put her hands on Otis's shoulders. "Otis here, has had a rough day. So, we're trying to cheer him up and he thought you'd like to come along." Se could tell Otis had a thing for Julie, and what better way to get his mind off things than hanging out with his crush? "We're gonna get some food, talk, and have a good time. Things have been tense lately and I think it's time we unwind a bit. Sound cool?" She asked. "My treat."

"Hi Julie." Otis waved nervously. "Yeah... Umm... Naja covered most of it. We're eating here in Attilan. So we don't have to worry about getting shooed out because we have a rainbow of skin colors... And half of us have tails."

"If you really want to get technical. Xander is the weird one in the group. No differing skin tone." Naja teased her husband. "No tail... No retractable claws. Just soft pink skin and a dire need for a haircut."

"So why are you picking on me all of a sudden?" He asked, crossing his arms. "And as for my hair, try finding a barber that can cut it."

"Because you're boring!" She teased before whipping her tail in front of his face. "I'm just joking you big goon. I love you and all your blandness. At least get a hair tie. Put it in a ponytail. I'll braid it."

"I draw the line at the hair tie. You're not braiding my hair."

"See what I mean? Boring. I love you, but you need to learn to unwind a bit. Have you watched any TV liked I asked you to?" She was making it a thing to try and make Xander more relaxed rather than him constantly working on his projects to get the Earth into a spaceworthy state and saving the multiverse from genocidal psychopaths. By the look she got, it was assumed that he didn't. She sighed. "Did you at least watch the first episode of One Punch Man? I even left it on for you and it's only twenty minutes long."

"Wait, you haven't seen One Punch Man? That's my jam right there. That fight with Boros? Holy crap, that was amazing. Love the Consecutive Normal Punches. Like how how normal punches are strong enough to liquefy someone strong enough to blow up planets? I know there's a comic convention in town next week. I'm thinking about going as Boros. Since he's the only character in the series with blue skin... Julie! You could be Tatsumaki!"

"I watched the first episode with Otis. It was interesting... Someone so powerful yet bored." She remarked. Julie liked the show vaguely, though she wasn't as in love with it as everyone else in her life seemed to be. She was giving it a try though, seeing where the series would go. "I found old holo projections of Martian opera and theatre I had somewhere in my trunk, as well as a few alien cartoons and comic books I read during my time traveling the galaxy. If anyone feels like watching them at some point. She then regarded Otis' idea for a comic convention and smiled.

"I guess I could. Honestly though I could be just about anyone. Martian shapeshifting is great for cosplay and halloween." She remarked.

The Silhouette of Adventure wrote:Loss breathed in deeply, meditating at the centre of his office. Soon, inside his mind's eye, scenes of the Universe were spread out before him. A war was coming.

"You are under arrest." Commander Hill narrowed her eyes.
"Put the guns down, boys, you don't want this to get ugly." The other figure in the room replied easily, cracking his knuckles.
"Take him down."

A war of change.

"With the so-called Heroes distracted, now's the perfect time to make our move." The shadowed figure slammer his fist against the table. "We go in and we destroy them, they don't know what hits them."

"No. If the public knows it was Supervillains, then more street level Heroes will just 'rise to the occasion'." A feminine voice responded. "I have a plan."

A war of death.

A war of destiny.

Loss gasped for breath, falling to the ground and gripping the floor. What... What the hell was that? I've never had a vision that clear before. He blinked slowly, gathering himself, before rising. He grabbed his coat from his desk and reached into the pocket, only to find his phone already receiving a call. "Alex? I told you not to call me while I meditate. Regardless, you need to come to my office- Something has come up and-"

"Really, Loss, is that any way to treat an old friend?" The voice on the phone was not Alex's, but rather much older. Despite this, it was full of just as much, if not more, guile. "No response? Not that surprising. It was hard to track down your personal number, my friend, but nothing is outside the reach of Madam Fang." Loss could hear the smirk over the phone.

"Now is not the best time, Ashmore." Loss finally sighed. "What do you want? Last I recall, you told me you never wanted to see me again."

"Oh, did I?" She mock questioned. "Oh yes. I recall now. I'm certain both of us have grown quite a bit since Budapest-"

"It's been three months."

"-But more to the point, I was calling in regards to the advertisement you recently placed." She continued as though she had not been interrupted. "You're looking for teachers. Who better than me?"

"Anyone." Loss frowned. "Listen, Margaret, now is not the time for our old games. I'm busy, and recent events-"

"I'm serious." She interrupted him, her voice now sombre. "I don't have anything else to do, and frankly, you're the only one who's ever had any luck with leads."

Loss didn't have to ask what leads she was talking about. After being teleported 200 years into the future, anyone would be looking for more information. "Fine. If you're serious, Ashmore, meet me at my office tomorrow afternoon. Goodbye."

"Goodbye, my old-"

Loss set his phone down, rubbing his temples. She chooses now to show up? Of any time? Blood hell. He picked it back up again, dialling Alex's number. "Alex, you there? We need to talk." He was not aware, but already the vision was fading from his memory. By the time Alex would pick up the phone, he would forget it entirely, and simply ask about Madam Fang's potential employment.

"What's up?" Asked Alex, having a feeling that perhaps Loss has seen something.

The Russian Witch was not sure why she knew that Loss had a vision. She supposed it was wizards intuition, or perhaps she could tell from his tone of voice. He didn't always call her when it came to his visions, though he did tell her some. Alex liked to think she was closer to the ancient wizard than most others. It was a privileged place, to have such a connection.

Still. His tone was different. "You sound... different." She wasn't quite sure what the difference was, but something had happened.

"Andy! Take out the trash!"

...

"Is he asleep?"

...

"Oh fine... I suppose I can give him a break for once."

A few seconds later and a door opened, shining a light in the dark of the suburban street, revealing a middle aged mother in a blue cloth shirt and her white pants. She pulled back her blonde hair to rub her cold nipped ears and groaned as the garbage bag weighed down on her slender frame. Her green eyes searched for the curb as she walked. She was careful as she walked in the darkness, not wanting to trip and end up introducing her face to the ground, especially not with these new glasses...

"That kid is so lucky he has a mother like me." She spoke, half jokingly. She groaned as she held the trash. "What's in here, a cinderblock?" She asked as she spotted the bin. She walked up to it. She then frowned slightly. She didn't remember the lid being off the bin last she checked.

"Damn Racoons." She spoke as she suddenly lifted the black garbage bag.

Then she could have sworn she saw the bin move.

Then she realized it was not the can moving, rather something in it.

Then darkness was all she could see.

"I don't care how you do it! Just do your jobs!" Shouted Armash Farar as he told his warlords to do their job. The stress of taking over the country from his father was showing. As they nodded and left, Armash's face became less red. He sighed as he turned to the window. He surveyed his city, still recovering from the attack from the anti mutant radicals and their corperate supporters. He had tried his best to make Ashmarhan a safe nation for mutants, but his countries conservative element was geared to fight him at every turn.

Father, I know you said I needed to find my own way to rule, but I wish I had your guidance...

Suddenly he felt that someone else was in the room. He turned.

"Did I not tell you not to come back until-" Then his eyes widened.

He did not have time to do much else before his arm was wrapped with something. Then he felt something on his face.

Then he felt as if he was being drained. Like water through an open plug.

"Sir. Are you alright?"

The Dictators Secretary came into his office, only to see him standing there, looking out into the glass.

"You sounded-"

"I am fine.... Mr Kadesh." He spoke, as if trying to remember his name. "I need all the files you can on the... special programs we talked about."

"Holy shit!" A voice cried out, but was not heard by anyone in the Hydra installation. He was cornered in a room with no cameras and no witnesses.
The infiltrator had been careful.

The Hydra goon looked up to see his commandant coming towards him. Only it wasn't. That thing was wearing her skin.

"C-Cut off one head and two more will grow... Cut off one head and two more will grow..." He muttered witlessly in an measly attempt at last words. He repeated them over and over as if it was going to save him.
He felt her hand on his head, and then his mantra was silenced.

"Heil Xyrix..."

Hawkman flew into a bank after hearing reports of there being a robbery as part of his usually JL patrols. Seeing that the teller and most of the staff were gone and the theif was nowhere in sight, he assumed that he had gone into the vault, and so gave chase.

There he found a single individual bank robber, male, with the stereotypical black mask.

"Surrender goon!"

He did not. Things were going to have to get rough.

As he swung his mace, it seemed as though he wasn't hitting a person, but some sort of jello. Bits of the robber went everywhere, but he was not dead. In fact, he seemed to reform into a female shape. One with more... slimelike features.

Hawkman would not have time to look a this creature though, as he found himself being converted into slime himself.

The creature paused, smiled, and took the shape of the hero. She turned to her new league communicator.

"Beam me up John."

Three forever knights sat on chairs in a large storeroom. Two initiate and one squires, concerned with the above battle but they had been given express orders to keep an eye on the room. At least, those were their last orders. Oddly enough they hadn't heard anything from their communicators for some time.

"Don't you think it's odd? We should probably do something..."

"You want to be the one who pisses off Genver. Be my guest."

Suddenly they heard a rattling and silenced themselves.

"Do they have... rats down here?" An initiate offered.

"I wouldn't think-" The squire paused. He turned to the other. "Go check it out."

He sighed, tossing his cards onto the table and walked down the alley between two rows of crates. Food he was fairly sure. He noticed a crate no longer had it's lid on. Frowning, he walked towards the crate. He walked towards the crate, looking inside. Empty.

"You sure about the rats?"

The Initiate was about to place the lid back on the box when he felt something around his neck. The last thing he heard was a snap before darkness came to his vision.

"Jan?" Asked the Squire as he heard the snap. He quickly put his helmet on. Then he looked to the initiate.

He was surprised to see instead a slime being in the initiate's armor. He blinked from surprise, getting up.

"Shit. Xyrixma." He muttered, getting up from his seat. The slime moved to attack him, but he moved faster, slamming his fist into her armor and sending her flying back. He used his coms system to contact his superiors, but all he heard was a deafening silence. He grunted and then moved forward to try and finish off the slime.

He suddenly felt a blow to the head which made him stagger and drop. He turned to face his new attacker, but found she was suddenly on top of him. He struggled, but her grip was strong. After a pause, he suddenly
felt a blow to the head, as his helmet cracked open. Another blow and his skull caved in.

"We have our spies in several major organisations on earth, as well as the Forever Knights, as you requested."

"Good. Commence phase two. With any luck we can break them down before we even get there."

The Republic of Atria wrote:"Annnnnd... Then there were two. I hope Naja's okay... So, how's life been treating you?" He asked Julie.

"I'm guessing she's more than a little okay." Julie remarked with a wry grin, though it faded a little quickly when she thought on her life. "It's been stressful, but then that isn't exactly new. I mean I complain about it enough I must sound like a broken record." She remarked. "I've taken on new responsibilities... what with my ring spontenously changing colour." She then paused, looking at the ring, and then she looked back at Otis. She frowned, and then smiled slightly.

"Though. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by life recently." She spoke. "I met a guy who's nice, funny and seems to have a good heart to him. Not to mention he is a rather nice shade of blue. And I think I really like him." Julie's smile widened as she placed a hand on Otis'. "My only question is whether or not I should go out with him or if I'm moving things ahead too soon."

"Well, what do you think?" Julie asked. "I mean, I'm sure you must have some idea of what I should do."
