The Templar High Council wrote:"You got along at first, kind of." Rikki replied, landing on the roof and turning her skin back to a human shade. It was somewhat pale, but Rikki didn't actually care about that. "I think... I think most of us would rather have you stay than go. Because you're smart, and you helped organize us to stop Xyri, and you did all that cool stuff against the aliens.

"What about you, Rocket-but-not-a-Rocket?" Rikki asked, seeing Mars's creation nearby. "Do you want to stay? You get as much say as Mars does."

Mars seemed quite surprised when Rikki said that they wanted him to stay. Most people were usually alienated by his intelligence and just wanted him to go away, and didn't want to deal with him. Then she suddenly asked Rocket what he wanted, and Rocket was silent for a little while, contemplating the question. "I would like to stay."he finally said in his robotic voice. Mars was surprised at this, and looked almost stunned. Even more stunning was when Kiris gave him back the flask and said her tears had healing powers and was a gift of their friendship. "Uh... thanks." He said, though he was clearly grateful, if still shocked as he took the flask back from her.

Finally, he decided not to fight it anymore. "Fine, we'll stay for now. But no promises for the future." He said to the group. He sounded reluctant, but there was clearly some hope there that he was trying to hide.

John Morgan
John smiled when he heard Sarah giggle, she had quite a beautiful laugh. He felt a little embarrassed at her comment about her suggestion, but was happy when she said she loved the idea. He felt her take his hand, and then grinned as she whispered in his ear. He had a feeling that this would be a better day than he could have originally hoped for. "I'm glad you like it. I'm excited too. Your sister said something about going to a toy store? I think I know the one she was talking about. I'll lead the way." He said, walking closely to Sarah as they still had their hands interlocked with each other.

Samantha Grimm
They had finally reached the large toy store that was one of those two floor stores. "Come on Jonathan. I'm sure we can find you a stuff animal you like here." Harvey said as the five of them went through the Isle of the stores, seeing various stuffed creatures as they waited for Jonathan to chose the one he liked. Samantha couldn't help but keep an eye on Hannah, as if when she looked away something bad would happen to her. She didn't envy James. He had to care for his two brothers, and he was only 16. Sometimes Samantha didn't realize how lucky she was to have Sarah there to take care of her all those years. She'd have to remember to tell Sarah how grateful she was sometime.

Mars and Rocket
Mars was surprised when Kiris suddenly pulled him into a hug, which was not very comfortable but at least his armor blunted the worst of it. Still, he was relieved when she pulled away and turned and offered Rocket her hand to shake. Rocket looked at her for a second before extending his hand as well, and shaking her claws without much any pain.

Mars then heard Jake ask him what Rocket was and if he had a brain. "Well, I guess it depends what you mean by brain. He has the most state of the art operating system in the world, and his computer can link to any government data base in the world. He also has a fully functioning processor that allows him to replicate and 'feel' emotion. Though nothing about him is actually organic, but I've been trying to work up plans where I might be able to change that." He explained to Jake, not considering that he was speaking to an 11 year old who might not understanding what he was saying.

Samantha Grimm/John Morgan
Sam was surprised as well when Jonathan came back with a stuffed werewolf, but couldn't help but smile at the choice. "It looks like you have an admirer." She quipped playfully to Hannah. She was glad that her little sister seemed to be making friends. She was usually a little anti-social and didn't get along with people well, not that Sam blamed her for that. People weren't usually very accepting of her because of her unique appearance. She led Hannah and the Andersons to the register to pay for the werewolf and once that was done they headed outside to walk back toward the Devil's Den. Then however, they saw John and Sarah walking toward them, holding hands and looking very friendly with each other. Sam raised her eyebrow a bit at that but didn't say anything.

John walked up and saw the group standing outside the store and smiled and waved to them with his free hand. He figured it would be best for Sarah to explain their plan to her sisters. He wasn't sure how they'd feel about it, though he hoped they'd be happy.

Mars and Rocket
Mars looked on curiously as Kiris spoke to Rocket. No one ever really held a conversation with him besides Mars. Most people were too freaked out to approach him. Meanwhile Rocket analyzed Kiris' questions and responded dutifully. "The language we are currently speaking is English of an American dialect. It is an Indo-European language that belongs in the Germanic family of languages. It dates back to 5th century, approximately 1600 years ago. This planet is known as Earth. It is the third planet from the Sun of the Milky Way Galaxy, and has held life for approximately 3.5 billion years and has one moon in its orbit. The planet is host to approximately 1.2 million known species, one of which being humans. Humans are life forms with developed reasoning skills who have created sophisticated societies such as the one we are in currently. However they are also prone to great violence and destruction." Rocket said, attempting to answer Kiris' question.

He then responded to her other question. "Human beings speak using their vocal cords which create vibrations that are emitted through their mouths. My voice is projected by a sound wave generator that is connected to my to thought processor. It is then emitted by a microphone, making the process of opening my mouth unnecessary."

Samantha Grimm
Sarah had come towards Samantha and Hannah and Samantha smiled when she waved to them. She suddenly then pulled them into a hug and pulled them away from the others, asking if they wanted to go to Disney World. Samantha was very surprised, they hadn't been planning a trip like that. Then again, she should have suspected it. Sarah was always quite unpredictable and often changed their plans. "Disney World? Well, we've never been there before. We'll have to pack all our stuff though. Where'd you get this idea Sarah? Sam asked curiously. She also looked over to Hannah, who she imagined would be quite excited.

Cora
During the fight Cora had realized that she wouldn't be much use up against Alex and trying to fix his brain, so she decided to try to protect her city as well. She had stopped multiple buildings from falling and had rescued too many people to count. She didn't really get hurt either. Despite a few close calls, some scrapes, and her clothes ripping a bit she was fine. She looked a bit of a mess though. There was a light layer of dust on her face and her jeans were ripped a bit on the thighs. Her shirt collar had ripped as well, though it was still mostly intact.

As she finished up, she heard Katie calling after her and immediately followed her voice. When she arrived she saw she was standing with Alex and Naja and everything seemed alright. She hugged Katie in relief, ignoring the fact that she was covered in dust and her clothes were ripped. "Sorry if I scared you by wandering off. I figured I'd be of better use trying to protect civillans." Cora told her new girlfriend, hoping Katie wasn't mad at her.

Cora
Cora saw Katie looking over her and frowned when she heard the scared tone in Katie's voice. She knew she must have been fearing the worst, especially after what had happened to Eric. Cora took Katie's hands and gently looked into her eyes. "I'm fine Katie, I promise." She said sincerely. She decided that was all she needed to say. It wouldn't have helped anything to tell Katie not to worry. Cora knew she would anyway. "So you all saved the city? I didn't get to watch much of it, but the fight seemed awesome." She then turned to Katie and smiled, "I'm so proud of you." She said, grinning a bit.

Rocket
"You ask why I do not show typical displays of emotion common to American culture such as arm waving, smiling, or other such movements? My internal systems can replicate and process emotion, but unlike sentient life, I do not feel things as it is commonly understood. Rather my emotions are based on logical and cultural responses that I have been programmed with. Though I feel things in a philisopical sense, I don't actually have physical reactions to emotions like organic life forms would."

John Morgan
John heard Hannah's question about how they'd get there and gave a small smile. "Well, I figure walking to Florida won't much fun. So I decided to call for my private jet. It'll get us there in an hour or two. Now, we should back to where ever you all are staying to get your stuff. I'll probably need to stop home as well if we're going to stay the night."

Mars and Rocket
Mars and Rocket followed Elena to the abandoned warehouse, though he was still a little weary about the idea of joining this team. Mars had never worked well with others and he had serious trust issues, so he was very skeptical about whether or not this would actually work out. The abandoned warehouse wasn't too bad at least, it reminded him of his secret lab below a parking garage.

When they started introducing themselves Mars didn't say much, not giving people a lot of information about him. After some prodding he had ruffianly given them his last name, but hadn't said anything about his past or of his special ability to control machines. He listened intently to the others speak however. Despite his flaws, Mars was a very quick listener and thanks to his superhuman intelligence he absorbed the information instantly. The only one who he had seemed to warm up to was Kiris, but even to her he wasn't very talkative but he was more responsive to her questions than the others.

Then Elena led them to the second floor and had apparently set up some kind of trust exercise for them. When Elena explained what it was Mars took a step back. "There's no way I'm doing this." He said firmly. It wasn't rational, but in his mind this was some kind of trick where he was going to fall then no one would catch him and everyone would stand around laughing at the idiot who fell on the mattress. If he thought about it rationally it didn't make much sense, but trust was the one area where Mars didn't seem to consider rationality. He genuinely believed that no one would actually want to be his friend and had to have kind of ulterior motive when they interacted with him.

Mars
Suddenly Jake went up to the railing and jumped off, telling Mars to cat catch him. What the hell was he doing? He wasn't even standing over the mattress. Luckily, Mars had his rocket propelled boots in and sprung into action. Jake may have been annoying and childish, but Mars couldn't just let him fall. He just off the railing and nosedived, propelling himself faster to catch up to Jake, before grabbing him from under his arms and bringing him down gently to the ground. "What was that Jake? You could have gotten killed! This isn't a game. And you shouldn't treat it like one!" He said to the younger boy angrily.

Mars
Mars just rolled his eyes and scoffed at Jake's demonstration of his powers. "It's that kind of attitude that's going to get you killed. Keep thinking nothing is going to be able to hurt you, and we'll be looking for a replacement soon enough." Mars said angrily, mad at how Jake didn't seem to be taking this seriously. "Grow up, life isn't a game." He said seriously. Mars was never really childish and rarely joked around which was one reason he didn't have any friends his age.

Mars stepped toward Jake as well and was about to take him up on his offer when Elena shouted at them to stop arguing. Then she told him catch Xyri. He didn't like taking orders at all, but finally pellet his eyes from Jake. "Fine, let's just get this ridiculous exercise over with." He grumbled, as he moved toward the mattress beneath Xyri.

Mars
Mars saw Xyria fall from the railing and she was moving away from the mattress. He doubted she'd be hurt if she fell, but he was still expected to catch her. So he ran a few steps and tried to grab Xyria but she was far too heavy for Mars who was as strong as an average human. He fell down under Xyria's wait and even though he broke her fall. He hit the ground hard, landing face first on the ground.

Mars
Mars felt himself being lifted up by Xyri, he wasn't hurt too badly just bruised and would probably be sore tomorrow. His pride was hurt more than anything, and he then heard Xyri call him Scarface. "I'm fine, and don't call me that. It's not funny." He told her seriously, forcing himself out of her grip. He had gotten the scar from a workshop accident when he was 5. It wasn't too bad, but he was self conscious about it. He walked off to the side in a huff. "I told you this exercise is stupid. This isn't helping us at all." He said indignantly to Elena.

John Morgan
John winced a little at Hannah's harsh scream, but was happy that she seemed to be happy. "Well, we should probably head by your place first, then we can have the plane meet us at my penthouse." He then remembered the brothers standing behind Hannah and he turned back to the Grimm sisters. "Should we invite the boys over there? It's up to you all, because you seem to know them a bit better than I do." He said to them, awaiting their decision.

Mars
Mars was starting to get a bit annoyed as Xyri continued to give him less than flattering nicknames. "Just call me Mars alright?" He said to her, a little annoyance in his voice as he walked off to side. He was already sick of this exercise and was looking forward to it being over. He didn't need anyone else's help, never had. Even if they had convinced him to join them, that didn't mean he trusted them. He didn't trust anyone really, not since his parents had been killed. He only trusted machines at this point. They never lied to you or pretended to care about you.

Samantha Grimm and John Morgan
Samantha walked with Sarah to the cab as her older sister wrapped her arm around her shoulder. John got into the cab with them as they headed toward a very nice hotel on the outskirts of the city. John knew how they most likely paid for their room, but he tried not to let it bother him too much. When they got to the girls' suite he paused a bit, realizing the money was no doubt in this room. His training kicked in for a moment and his eyes couldn't help but scan the room for where the money might be. However he pushed those thoughts from his mind. He had made a promise to Sarah, and even if he was having second thoughts about enforcing the law, he was no liar and wouldn't go back on his word. Besides, he really did like Sarah, and he didn't want to screw things up. He looked deep in thought when Sarah spoke to him but her words pulled him out of it and he nodded to her, sitting on the couch and waiting for the girls to get ready.

Samantha packed the small amount of things that she had pretty quickly and then remembered the money. It wouldn't be any problem to carry it, she'd just put it in her small enchanted bag that could hold an impressive amount of mass that seemingly wouldn't fit in the bag if it were normal. The problem was that John was right there and would see her take the money out. She didn't fully trust John yet and was afraid to let him see where the money was. She walked over to Sarah's room while she packed. "Hey Sarah, could you do me a favor? Could you distract John for a minute or two while I take the money out of the closet?" She didn't think her sister would mind the favor, and was very confident that she could do it.

Sam smiled at Sarah's enthusiastic request to her smile and rolled her eyes playfully as her sister headed out of the room. She would wait until John was thoroughly distracted before going toward the closet, though she knew that wouldn't take long.

John smiled when he saw Sarah coming toward him and watched her sit down next to him. She then took his hand and asked a suggestive question, looking into his eyes in a way that forced his attention being on her. John was a little unsettled by Sarah's supernatural ability to demand his attention, but he was so fascinated by it and attracted to her that he pushed the thought from his mind. He smiled and leaned a bi closer to her as he answered her question. "Well they have a few rides that take you slowly through dark tunnels. I'm sure we could find ways to pass the time in there." He said to her, Sarah still being the focus of his attention.

Meanwhile Samantha had made her way to closet and open the door, grabbing hold of the large bag of money and gold, she pulled it into her enchanted bag and closed the bag tight. Once she was done she stepped away from the closet and pretended to be just walking in and seeing Sarah and John. She cleared her throat to get their attention. "Well, let's get going then. I'm all packed." She said with a grin, mischievously aware that she had interrupted their flirtations. She then turned her head towards Hannah's room. "Hannah? You ready to go?" She called out to her younger sister to get her attention.

Samantha Grimm and John Morgan
Samantha couldn't help but grin a bit at Hannah's comment about Sarah. "Ya probably" she admitted, not denying it. "But don't worry, I'll stick with you Hannah." She said, wrapping her arm around her younger sister.

Meanwhile John was finally released from Sarah's grasp and noticed that they were all ready to leave. "Alright, let's get going. My plane will be waiting for us on the roof of my penthouse." He told them before walking off with them to the cab which led them to his large tower in the heart of the city. He owned the whole tower, but most of it was offices while the top floor was his penthouse. He brought them into the lavishly decorated lobby and led them to the private elevator that would take them to the penthouse. Soon they arrived and stepped out of the elevator into John's living room and had a large couch and three love seats all facing an enormous television that sat over a fire place. The best part however was the clear windows that gave a beautiful view of the Gotham shore line. It was a simple but nice design. "You girls can make yourselves comfortable on the couch. I'll just be a few minutes." He told them before going into his room to pack. He packed a few days worth of clothes and toiletries, not knowing how long they might stay. When he came out the sound of engines could be heard above and be gave a smile. "There's our ride." He told the girls as he led them upstairs to the roof where a luxurious silver jet was waiting for them.

Cora
Cora and Katie made their way through the streets of New York together. As they walked towards a dinner to get something to eat, Cora slowly reached out to take Katie's hand. She wasn't too sure about how relationships worked, but she had seen couples hold hands before so she thought it was a good idea. They walked hand in hand to the nearby dinner where they were seated at a small corner table. Cora sat across from Katie, and took a sip of her water. She was a little unsure what to talk about, she was very nervous about saying something wrong. She decided it'd be best to avoid any serious topics and ask about what had happened that day since Cora was genuinely curious about it.

"So, what happened out there with Alex? I mean I heard loud fighting noises, but I couldn't really see any of the battle." Cora said to Katie, wanting to hear about the fight.

John Morgan
John smiled at Hannah's question as they began to board the plane, John waving to his pilot as they entered. "Well, after I joined the military, I got very interested in energy technology. I went to school, read a lot of books, and soon I started my own company building machines that could harness and convert various forms of energy into pure kinetic energy. You see, because I have that ability ability myself. I made a lot of money off off those machines so I decided to keep building things. Now my company is focusing more on renewable energy systems for cities and towns to use. Hopefully we'll find a way to replicate my design on a massive scale so that we can provide affordable clean energy for people who need it." Heexplained to Hannah and her sisters. He then sat down in one of the seats toward the front of the plane. There weren't traditional air plane seats but rather a small collection of recliners that were arranged in a living room like fashion. There was also a small television and a bar filled with both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and some snacks.

"Oh, well I didn't really see much either." She explained. She smiled. "I didn't really check his visuals until the very end to see how Naja was doing, and since my job was to rewire his brain from the inside, I didn't really do much fighting." She akwardly rubbed the back of her head, "From what I could tell it was pretty destructive. All the fighting was rather impressive. Naja did a good job of keeping things together." She remarked. "I'm glad Alex and Naja are both on our side, I mean they're both pretty darn strong." She remarked. The paused. "What about you?"

Cora listened to Katie speak quitely, taking in everything she was saying. When Katie finished Cora finally spoke up. "Wow Katie that's amazing. You actually operated on Alex's brain from inside him?" She asked in awe. She then recovered from her impressed state and continued. "Alex and Naja are pretty strong, though I haven't seen much of what Alex can do." She said, seeing that Katie a little nervous herself which made Cora relax a little. "I didn't see much of the fight either. I knew I wouldn't be much help against Alex so I tried to keep civilians as safe as possible. I stopped a few buildings from falling, and help some people escape fires. I wish I could have done more though, I couldn't help everyone." She said with a little regret creeping into her voice. A few minutes later the waitress came over to take their orders, asking Katie what she wanted.

Cora felt Katie take her hand, and looked up into her eyes, grinning as widely as Katie was to her. She felt Katie pull away when the waitress came and while she wished they could continue she understood. The waitress wrote down Katie's order and looked over to Cora, "Uh, water is fine for me.' Cora told her a bit awkwardly. She didn't really need to eat but needed water to survive. She was still a little self concicious about it. The waitress gave her a strange look but luckily didn't day anything about it and went to put the order in. When she was gone, Cora reached back out for Katie's hand, taking it gently in her own. "You're right Katie, and I'm really glad for all the good we can do. Meeting you, joining the team, it was... it was the best thing that could ever have happened to me." Cora said sincerely to her new girlfriend.

Cora
Cora was very touched by Katie's words and looked into her eyes as she spoke. Her mind went back to that day as well. A lot had changed since then but she still remembered it like it as yesterday. "I think it was fate too, but it could only happen because of how kind and compassionate you were Katie. Everyone else would have attacked me, but you realized what I needed was a friend. After that, it was only a matter of time until I started to have feelings for you." Cora said sincerely. She really cared about Katie a lot and wanted to make sure she knew it. Soon Katie's burger and fries came and the waitress placed it down on the table for her.

Cora
Cora blushed a little when Katie said she had feelings for her too, but smiled brightly as Katie pulled her hand back to eat. Cora took a sip of water and then heard Katie's question and paused. She knew it was common for couples to sleep in the same room, but still it would be a change and that made Cora a little nervous, but she knew it was necessary to try new things. Also, she could tell that Katie was worried about losing her like she had Eric, and Cora didn't want to make her worry anymore than she already did.

"Well, it does make me a little nervous, but only because all of this is so new to me. I have to start embracing new things, so I think we should do it." Cora said trying to sound confident. She knew her greatest challenge would be adjusting to all the things that changed now that she and Katie were in a relationship.

Cora
Cora was glad to see Katie smiling so brightly. She was glad she had made her happy. She also felt less nervous when Katie said she had more experience and could help her adjust to being in a relationship. She didn't see the underlined motive behind Katie's actions and was quite oblivious to it. "Thanks for being so understanding Katie, and of course I'm comfortable with you. You've been so great to me since we met." Cora said sincerely to her girlfriend. She then heard Katie ask if Cora wanted to know about her relationship past. Katie seemed to hesitate a bit when she asked, though Cora wasn't sure why. "Well, I'm curious. But if you're not comfortable enough it's okay. I won't judge you or think any less of you whatever you tell me though." Cora said sincerely. In her mind there wasn't much that Katie could say to change the way Cora thought about her.

Cora
Cora could tell that Katie was quite embarrassed by the fact that she had had a lot of relationships. Cora didn't really understand, not being too aware of cultural standards and norms. She reached for Katie's hand when she laughed nervously. "Katie, I really don't mind. You're a loving and caring person, so I can understand why you would have felt that way for a lot of people." Cora told her understandingly.

She then saw Katie wink and her and pull two thin pieces of paper out of her purse. She was surprised when she said that they had tickets to go to a movie theatre. Cora had only really started to live a (somewhat)normal life just a few weeks ago so she hadn't actuy been to a movie theatre yet, though she had watched movies with her friends at their tower. "That sounds great Katie, you know I haven't been to a movie theater yet, but I'd really like to go with you." Cora said with a bright smile, looking forward to spending time alone with Katie.

Samantha Grimm and John Morgan
After around two hours or so the plane arrived at a small landing pad in Florida. John led Sarah and her sisters off the plane and they walked out from the airfield and headed toward Disney World which was nearby. Soon they arrived at the gates of the large amusement park. There were sounds of happy crowds and a large number of costumed characters walking around and greeting people. John had his pilot bring his luggage to the hotel that he had reserved rooms in as John had reserved a room for him too. "So, where do you all want to go first? There's a bunch of different parks. Magic Kingdom has a bunch of Disney characters and rides, and the Animal Kingdom has this cool Safari too." He told the sisters, knowing more about disney world then most men his age usually might. He of course was looking forward to spending time alone with Sarah, but he felt it'd be rude to just take her away from her sisters so quickly. They had as much time as they liked their anyway so there wasn't any rush.
