The Flame Guard
John Morgan was busy taking out every thug that he saw when he heard Batgirl's words resonating across the city. She had told him that these Vannis' men earlier and now she said she was going after their boss. He assumed that Vannis' private mansion in the city would be his strong hold so Morgan raced over there to provide help in the fight. Whatever monster could order his men to kill civillans needed to be stopped.

He arrived having seen the batmobile firing missiles into the mansion. He was becoming more and more impressed with Batgirl's skills. He made his way to the rooftop and smashed a whole into into, landing in the middle of the floor near Batgirl. "Thought you could use the help." He said to her, firing his non lethal semi automatic rounds at the numerous enemies. Once his clips were empty he dropped the guns and switched to hand to hand combat, bringing down foes with brutal speed and strength.

Floyd Martin
Floyd was watching Valancy through the security cameras in the bank. He studied her fighting style as he had already for days. She fought with none lethal tactics, which would make things easier, however she had an extaordinary relationship with plants and could move at high speeds. When she arrived on the top floor he smiled, he had been waiting on the roof for a moment just like this.

He soon fired a blast into the ground and the part of the roof below him gave way so that he landed a few feet in front of Valancy. He was in full black body armor, so that only his face was uncovered. A double sided spear rest on his back and two sub machine guns hung from his belt, as well as a few grenades. Right now though the weapons he held out were his arms themselves. They were not covered by the armor and were a Metalocalypse silver. The middle of his plans glowed brightly.

"You heroes are so predictable. All that's needed to get you to fight is rob one simple bank." He said to Valancy, holding up his hands which glowed brighter as he fired two energy blasts at her.

Cora was surprised, but releaved at Katie's words. She did seem to be better. Then Katie asked about how Cora had been doing. "I'm fine Katie. These past few days haven't been easy on any of us, but you needed my help and there was no way I wouldn't be there for you."
Cora then blushed a bit when Katie hugged her. She wasn't sure why, it's not like Katie hadn't hugged her before, but this felt different. "You're welcome Katie. You did the same for me. I'll always be there for you." She told Katie as they hugged.

Katie looked up at Cora. She often had to do this as she was the shorter of the two and prone to hugging. She flash a big smile. Though there were still tears. "Thank you. Thank you so much. You're the best best friend anyone could ask for Cora. I... I l-" The word caught in her throat. "I like you a lot." She spoke. Nodding. She let go of Cora, wiping her tears away. She then smiled again. "I promise, I'll always be there for you too."

Cora tried not to blush again when Katie said she liked her, but Cora couldn't help it. "I like you too Katie. You're my best friend. I don't know where I would be without you." She said when Katie pulled away. Cora couldn't help but notice how beautiful Katie's smile was in that moment, it was almost distracting. "So I was thinking about going on patrol tonight. We haven't done it in a few days. Would you... wanna come with me? I understand if it's too soon Katie, I just thought I'd offer." Cora said, hoping Katie wouldn't get upset by her words. Comforting someone through a lose was not something she was used to, but she hoped that she was doing a good job.

Floyd Martin
Martin snatched the wooden spear just as it neared his head, it even scratched the mask he wore. "Nice try, but I'm just faster." He said to her arrogantly until the giant tree came rising up from the ground, knocking him hard to the ground. Valancy then moved at a quick pace and landed a hard hit to his stomach while he was down. His armor absorbed some of the impact, but he still felt it plainly.

"Not bad, you're smart. I can see why he's stayed with you." Floyd said absently to Valnacy, quickly doing a back flip from the ground and landing on his feet. "But unfortunately for you, I don't lose." He told her, he fired an energy blast at her feet to distract her and then jumped in the air with his fist raised, hopping to land a hard blow to knock her unconcious.

The Flame Guard
Morgan returned Batgirl's nod as they continued to fight together. When he took a respite after her he responded to her thank you. "You're welcome." He told her before returning to the fight.

Once all the thugs were taken out, he listened to Batgirl's plan. "That will work. I follow behind, throw one of those smoke grenades when you're ready for me to come in. Now we should go, he probably won't stick around long when sees his house destroyed." The Flame Dawn said to her before using his remaining energy reserve to blast up out of the ceiling. He then ran across the rooftops, staying close to follow Batgirl.

Cora
Cora was amazed at how much better Katie had seemed. Just this morning she had been devesated and now she didn't stop smiling. Katie had left and came back at such speed that Cora barely had time to react. She smiled brightly at her enthusiastic friend. "Well, I'll need a few minutes Katie, I can't change at the speed of light like you." She teased her friend before heading down to their changing room herself. She came back in her costume as well, and checked the police scanner that she had connected to headset. "Well, there's a fire about 6 blocks from here, and there's also a bank robbery near by. Do you want to split up and handle them both?" Cora asked her friend.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha smiled and shook her head at Hannah's words. "Don't worry Hannah, you can always order more if you want." She said to her little sister. There were people staring at them but they ignored them as always. Then Hannah asked what they wanted to do with them money. "Well, I've always wanted to buy a house somewhere. It'd be nice to have a place that was our own, where we can keep our stuff and go to whenever we want." Samantha said. She doubted her sisters shared her dream, but Samantha had always dreamed of settling down one day with a family, and leaving the life of wandering behind.

Cora
Cora nodded to Katie, she knew it might take a little while for her to adjust again. "It's okay Katie. You take the bank, and I'll take the burning building. Remember to keep your headset on, and check in if something seems suspicious." Cora said, a little worried. "We'll meet back here when we're done." She said, before flying off toward the direction of the burning building.

Cora soon arrived at the large apartment building that was on fire. The fire was spread across the building. Cora dropped down to speak to the fire fighters who said that there were still people trapped inside. Cora nodded and shot up immediately smashing through one of the windows to search for one of the trapped civillans.

Floyd Martin
Martin saw the wooden shield wrap around Valancy and his metal hand smashed into it and it shattered, a number of the pieces cutting into his armor. He was becoming frustrated, she was stronger and more resilant than he had thought, more noticeable was her intelligence in battle.

He smiled however when he landed, and she asked how he knew Roy. "So he hasn't told you? How interesting, he must be embarrassed. Children have no loyalty these days. Now enough games, time to finish this." He told her taking his double ended spear in both hands and he chopped the two spears she had thrown in half, chopping at the branches. He then detattached the two half of the spear and held them in each hand, throwing them both at Valancy with incredible speed.

The Flame Guard
the Flame Guard followed behind the Batmobile across the roof tops, running at high speeds. He watched Batgirl chase the three vans and kept a close eye on them, determined not to lose sight of them.

Floyd Martin
Suddenly Martin saw someone moving at incredible speeds intercept his spear. Things were getting crowded now and the odds weren't in his favor. "I'm not here to rob any bank. I'm here to settle scores." He said to Katie before turning to Valancy. "This isn't over. Not by a Longshot." He said to her, pressing the button of a communicator on his belt and soon the rope of a helicopter dropped down from the hole that Martin HD created in his attacked. He climbed up the rope and half way up he dropped a grenade down to where Valancy and Katie were. He doubted it would kill them, but it would keep them distracted while he escaped.

Cora
Cora made her way through the burning building, blasting apart debris when necessary. She rescued a little girl and her older brother who hadn't been able to make it out and then went back as apparently there was another family still inside. Cora made her way back inside but a beam suddenly fell from the ceiling and fell on Cora. Cora winced as her hands were burned by the flames. She pushed it off of herself quickly however and headed toward the family. She had to move quickly as the building was very dangerous. She found the two people who were trapped and broke down their door before grabbing them and flying out the window just before an explosion sent flames through out the building.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha's smile faded at her sister's words. She knew that Sarah was right. They couldn't settle down, not now. Not with this murderous wizard after them. Maybe they would never be able to. Maybe they were destined to wander for the entirety of their lives.

"Ya, you're right Sarah. I guess it's just a silly dream." Sam said, a little crestfallen, playing with her fork aimlessly. "Come on, we should pay our bill and leave. The sooner we get to Gotham the better off we'll be. If you're still hungry Hannah, you can take some more food to go." Sam said to her younger sister.

Cora
Cora had finally rescued all the people from from the burning building, and helped the fire fighters snuff out the flames. When the job was done she headed off to some applause. It was a job well done, with the exception of some burns on her hands. She flew back to the JQ headquarters and frowned when she arrived and Katie wasn't there. Had there been a complication at the bank? Panic started to set in a bit but then Cora forced herself to relax. It was probably nothing.

Cora
Cora heard a knock from the door below and wondered why Katie and Valancy came that way. Then suddenly she heard Kylie's voice and her eyes widened. She rushed across the rooftop and opened the door. "Kylie?" She said in shock. A flood of relief filled Cora's mind. She was glad she had made it home from space, they didn't need to lose another close friend after all. Then she realized that Kylie didn't even know what happened to Eric.

She tried to push those thoughts from her mind and just be happy that she was back. She hugged her friend warmly, since she knew she would have gotten one anyway. "Kylie! I'm so glad you're safe. I missed you these last few days." Cora said to her friend, not even noticing the two girls behind her in the commotion.

The Flame Guard
The Flame Guard had been about to come to Batgirl's aid when Vannis was killed. He shook his head, knowing this was not what Batgirl had planned. He continued to follow the batmobile and dropped down when she came out to fight the remnants of Vannis' thugs. He fought alongside her again until eh group was finished. He noticed that the GCD as they called themselves was there too. He still wasn't sure about them, and had a feeling they might be fighting them in the near future as well.

Cora smiled brightly at Kylie's hug. The Green Lantern hugged more than anyone human she had met before. She listened to Kylie speak in her usual cheery voice. Cora had certainly missed that around here. "Well I sounds really exciting Kylie. I'm just glad you're back. We really missed you around here. Things have been pretty wild around here too." She said and then saw the two people standing behind Kylie.

Cora was surprised when Kylie said that she had invited them into their team. They hadn't really discussed adding members, o even how they would go about it. But Kylie seemed to trust them and that was good enough for Cora. Cora smiled at both of them, "Hi Ruby," she said shaking her hand and then turning to Atiala, "Hi Atiala, it's great to meet both of you. I'm glad to hear that Kylie had friends out there. We certainly have plenty of room here, and you're welcome to stay." Cora said in a friendly voice.

For that matter, how long was she gone? It only felt like a day or two, but then again Kylie was knocked out right after they got there...

No matter. The part that's important is that she got home safe, brought new friends, and it looks like the tower still exists. Good enough for her!

"KATIE!" Kylie flashed over to her best friend as soon as she had human form, nearly tackling her to the ground. "I am back, yes I am! How ya been? What's been going on? Cora said stuff's been pretty wild, and I need the deets."

Releasing Katie from the attack hug she put her in, Kylie pointed again to Ruby and Atiala. "This is Ruby, and Atiala. I invited them to join the Justice Queens. That's alright, right? I just realized I probably shoulda asked." Kylie chuckled and knocked her own head. "Little busy not thinking about permission in space, ya know?"

"What's been going on?" Echoed Katie, pausing. Her smile turned to a frown. A sad look was on her face. A pause happened as she opened her mouth to explain, but then she sighed. "A lot of things have happened. I don't want to talk about it now." She replied simply, evading the question. She then forced a smile on her face. "New members? That's good. We really should expand our roster. We have the resources and room to do that after all." Katie waved to Ruby and Atiala. "Welcome to the JQ guys!"

Cora frowned a bit at Katoe's words. She was a little worried about how this would go down, and she knew that she would have to be the one to tell Kylie the news. She didn't want Katie to have to go through that. Then something strange happened for Cora, she felt a twinge of annoyance when Kylie hugged Katie as she had her. Cora had no idea why, it wasn't like Kylie hadn't done that a hundred time before. She shook that thought out of her head as they greed their potential new members and Kylie.

Cora
Cora turned to Ruby, who seemed like she was going to say something but didn't. "You can take any empty room you'd like. We have plenty of them on our floors of the building. We keep the top floors for ourselves and then Valancy rents out the ones on the lower floors for revenue." She explained to Ruby before turning to Valancy.

"Hey Valancy, what's up? You were with Katie? Did something happen? She mentioned something about Roy, is something wrong?"

Samantha Grimm
Samantha led her sisters back to the van to head towards Gotham. When they arrived she planned on crashing on a bed immediately. Finally after what seemed like forever but ended up only being about an hour and a half they finally arrived at what seemed to be a very expensive hotel just outside of Gotham. There didn't seem to be much foot traffic going on, so there were plenty of rooms avaliable, so they rented the best suite avaliable that had three bedrooms and a living room. That seemed perfect for them and Samantha gave her sisters the room keys and headed staight toward their suite which was on the 5th floor. Samantha looked exhausted, and even though she was interested in exploring Gotham, that would have to wait until tomorrow for her.

Cora
Cora was surprised when she heard that Valancy was specifically targeted by a villain, and apparently it was over Roy. "Well, he was downstairs in his room the last time I saw him." She wondered what Roy could have to do with this. He seemed like a kind enough boy after all. "I wonder what this guy could want with Roy. I mean he doesn't even have powers, at least not that he's told us." She said as she pondered the situation.

Roy was meanwhile in fact in his room, wondering how Valancy was doing in her search for Jasmine. He hoped nothing went wrong with her, she was very kind after all. He would have offered to help her, but hee was still afraid to tell her about his powers.

Roy
Roy was sitting on his bed when Valancy came into his room after knocking. He was relieved that she was safe, but his eyes widened in shock when she said she was attacked by a man with metals arms. He had finally found him. Roy should have known this would happen, why would he think that escape would be that easy.

He was furious at himself for putting Valancy in danger like that. Now he knew he would have to tell her the truth. He owed her that much now. Still, he was quite nervous about how she might react. He took a deep breath and answered her question. "His name is Floyd Martin. He's a deadly mercenary and murder, and he's... my adopted father." He told her softly. "I'm not like him though, I swear! He tried to make me a killer, and that's why I ran away. I'm sorry Valancy, it was selfish of me to come here when I knew he'd be chasing me."

Roy then took a shaky breath and stood up. "There's something else I've hid from you too." He told Valancy, not able to look her in the eyes. He clenched his fists and concentrated and soon the lights went out in the apartment. Two balls of shadow energy formed in Roy's hands, and swirled around as if they were alive. Roy then unclenched his fists and the energy disintegrated as the light returned to the light bulbs in the apartment. Roy still didn't look at Valancy, ashamed of what he was and scared that she would reject him like the others had before her.

Tarmithéil, of the Starkindlers
Tarmithéil, the 4th of the Starkindlers, was traveling through space, appearing most likely as a shooting star to the people below on the world-dragon Hadrimmelis. He was traveling toward the star of Varda, though he was also in any other places at the same time. For in that moment Tarmithéil had a number of avatars walking across the surface of the planet Earth, to explore and learn about its people. Tarmithéil had been the most vocal advocate for exploration and was glad when his siblings finally agreed to it.

Soon he arrived inside of Varda, and saw his sister Elentáríel inside. He expected her to be there, as this was her first creation and served as her home more often than not. He always enjoyed how his sister decorated her star, with all her creation displayed around. However, Tarmithéil was more interested in interaction and experience rather than art, though he did see the beauty in his sister's creation.

Tarmithéil had arrived to visit his sister because he had sensed what she had no doubt sensed as well. One of her stars was dying and the Starfall ceremony would need to be preformed. She would do this of course as this was her creation, but Tarmithéil thought he should visit her to try to comfort her if he could. They had always been very close to each other as they were rather close in age and rank within the order.

"Hello Elentáríel, it is nice to see you again." The stark inker said to her when she came in to view. Tarmithéil wore deep red robes that were laced with gold. He often dressed extravagantly as he enjoyed exploration with colors and fabrics.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha woke up later than her older sister older sister and stumbled out of her room wearing a black t-shirt and shorts that she slept in. Her eyes were barely open as she walked sluggishly into the bathroom to shower. Samantha was not a fan of the morning time, mainly because the sun was shining so damn brightly. Samantha didn't even seem to notice Sarah sitting on the couch as she headed into the bathroom.

Once inside the bathroom Sarah undressed and stepped inside the shower, the warm water feeling very refreshing against her cold skin. She spent a decent amount of time in the shower before turning off the water and drying herself off. Once she was completely dry she began to dress herself with the clothes she had brought from her room. She wore a black skirt top that was laced with silver across the seems, and dark blue jeans beneath it. She wore golden earrings in the shape of small broomsticks. They were gifts from her sisters that were poking fun at Samantha's witch like personally. Despite this Samantha had become quite taken with them and wore then often.

She came into the living room where she saw Sarah watching TV and Samantha sat down next to her. "Good morning sis, seems you've gotten comfortable here already." She saod as she sat down, resting her head on the soft cushion of the couch. "We probably won't stay long. We're just here to lay low for a little while, then we can move on to somewhere safer and more desirable. Maybe New York, or something." Samantha said to her older sister. Samantha had always been the plan maker of the group of sisters. She liked to make sure she knew exactly what her next move was. "I'm sure there are some fun things we can do her in the meantime though. There seems to be trouble on the streets, but we've never had problems taking care of ourselves."

John Morgan
the Flame Guard had patrolled the streets into the late night, taking out large numbers of gang members, destroying huge loads of weapons and leaving the thugs tied up and incapacitated. There was still more work to be done, but things had started to calm on the streets a bit as the gangs were retreating to try to reorganize. When he returned to his penthouse late at night he was exhausted, but didn't go to sleep just yet. He showered and caught up on the news across the country. Apparently there was a huge bank robbery in Starling, in which millions of dollars were stolen. He read that the perpetrators were said to be three women, one who had almost fur like ears and the other who witnesses said was a vampire. Morgan scoffed, the witness reports seemed laughable so he decided to head off to bed.

He woke up late the next morning, some small bruises on his forearms were the only signs of his escapades the night before. The Flame Guard didn't do patrols during the day, so Morgan decided he'd take a walk around the wealthy part of Gotham where his penthouse was, and see how things were on the streets.

Samantha Grimm
Sam couldn't help but give a sleepy grin at her older sister's words as she snuggled into Sarah's embrace, resting her head on the older girl's shoulder. Samantha never had real parents in her life, but Sarah had always been her parental figure. Sarah had raised both her and Hannah, and Samantha had always felt that Sarah was her mother, older sister, and best friend wrapped up into one person.

"I slept well sis, I was exhausted last night. I still can't believe we got away with all that money. I'll have to cast a spell to see how much it is." She said to her, before yawning against Sarah's shoulder. She then heard her speak about Hannah and going out on the town. "I'd like to explore the city too, there's sure to be plenty of interesting stuff. We should let Hannah sleep though. Her wolf form always tires her out, and we don't want her to be cranky." Samantha said to her older sister with a smile. She was only half joking as Hannah was not a pleasent person without her sleep.

Samantha
Samantha smiled when she saw Hannah come into the room, as Sarah had stared to brush the youngest Grimm's hair. She continued to sit snuggled in her sister's embrace and giggled when Hannah's stomach growled quite loudly. They all seemed to be in very good moods. "Well, I'm ready to leave whenever you two are. I'll just go get some of the cash for us to use." She said to them, Heading over to the large walk in closet they had where the money was being stored. Of course, it wasn't just any closet, Samantha had enchanted it so only her or her sisters could open it, and only the three of them would be able to actually see the money inside. Everyone else would just see an empty closet, but wouldn't even be able to open the door to it in the first place. She grabbed one of the stacks of bills and divided it into three piles before returning to her sisters, handing each of them share of the money to bring around town.

Roy
Roy was quite surprised at Valancy's words. No one had really ever reassured or comforted him before. He had expected her to calm him a killer or a criminal, but she didn't seem to judge him at all. Roy reluctantly looked at Valancy when she forced his chin forward. Once again her words shocked him. No one had ever accepted his powers or what he was, except Floyd who had tried to turn him into a killing machine.

He gave her a very grateful look, and nodded against her hand that still head his chin. "I understand, and thank you Valancy, no one has ever said anything like that to me." He said to her softly. He felt terrible now about the situation that he had put her in. He was determined now to protect her at all costs, Floyd would not harm her. It was time for him to finally put his powers to good use.

"I want to come with you. When you fight him next I want to help. He's here for me, and I should help you stop him." He told her. He didn't know if she'd agree, but he was determined to go after Floyd one way or another.

Tarmithéil
Tarmithéil smiled at his sister as well, "It is always nice to visit you sister." He told Elentáríel, and then frowned slightly when she mentioned her dying star. "Yes, I came to offer my condolences dear sister. I know this is never a pleasant time, it is a shame that our creations are not eternal. Their light always fades eventually."

He was then surprised when Elentáríel went off to visit the star, something seemed to be wrong. He was then shocked when he heard heard her messages, she had been captured? And the Void lords were back? The 4th Starkindler's mind filled with fury. How dare those abominations capture his sister? He immediately recalled his avatars from Earth, and scattered them across space to his many stars. Hundreds of people suddenly disappeared from the earth in a flash of light as they returned to protect the stars of Tarmithéil.

Brother, sisters, the Voidlords have returned. We must go to war. They have taken Elentáríel. Meet me at her star of Varda, we must plan a rescue for her. He called to his siblings minds, hoping they would heed his call and come quickly.

Arenténniel heard the call from her brother and sister, right in the middle of Dreamwalking. Sensing that she was needed, Aren withdrew a number of avatars from exploring Earth to gain more power. At the same time, she began inputting the coordinates into the stargate, quickly travelling to Elentáríel's home of Varda, where she saw Tarmithéil in deep thought.

"Tarmithéil," Aren said, her childish voice quivering. "What happened to Elentáríel? They... are back..?" Her bright eyes shined, but not with happiness. They were glistening with potential tears. The death of a star is never a happy time, but Starfalls made it worth it. Black holes... were a tragedy that no one deserved.

Tarmithéil's youngest sister Arenténniel was the first to answer the call of his summons. He saw the fear in her eyes and her voice, it wouldn't do for her to be terrified before the fight even began, but she was the youngest, and Tarmithéil had always been sympathetic to her fears. "Yes dear sister, I fear it is true. Don't fear though Aren, we will rescue Elentáríel I promise. With the combined power of all of us, we will defeat the Voidlords and protect our stars." He told her confidently. "You should summon all your avatars, send some to protect your stars, and then have the rest ready to follow us into battle." Tarmithéil said to his youngest sister, instructing her to do what he had already done as he waited for the others to arrive.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha smiled at her sister's eagerness. Sarah had always been the leader of group. Being the eldest she had always been in charge, but Samantha didn't mind. Sarah seemed like a natural leader and had never steered them wrong in her opinion.

"Yup, there's plenty more where this came from." Samantha said as Sarah counted the money. "So where should we go first?" Samantha asked as she followed Sarah out of their hotel suite. "We could check out the stores if you want..." She then got an idea. "Hold on, I have an idea. I can find out what's interesting around this city." She told her sisters confidently. She took out a ceremonial mat from her bag and headed back into the room for a second. She then took out a bunch of strange materials from her bag. Some crushed up powder, bright red leaves from a strange plants, and something that looked like a frozen frog's leg. She then took out a small bowl and mixed the ingredients and burned them, casting a small verbal spell to prevent the smoke from going anywhere.

She chanted some words in Latin and closed her eyes. She was silent for over two minutes. She was seeing images from across the town in a birds eye view, and heard the voices of people from across the city. Her eyes opened after a short time and she turned to her sisters. Well, I've hearx a bunch of people talking, in why looked like a club or something, but it wasn't just a club... it's hard to explain. The people there seem to enjoy it though. I think I know where it is, do you want to go?" He asked her two sisters.

Samantha Grimm
Samantha nodded when both her sisters said they wanted to go to the Devil's Den. She cleaned up her spell and then headed out the door with them when she heard Hannah's exclamation. Samantha gave an incredulous smile, her sister was so weird sometimes. She hoped she was joking about hitting someone with a chair, the last thing they needed was to wind up on the evening news.

Then Hannah asked about alcohol, and Samantha paused. Sarah and Samantha had been decently strict with Hannah throughout her life. They had especially been strict about alcohol. They didn't know how that would effect her as a werewolf, and they weren't too eager to find out.

"Look Hannah, I don't that's a good idea just yet. You're only 16, and we don't want anything to... well happen." Samantha told her, looking to Sarah for support. Sarah had always been the more parental figure of the two of them and was better at yelling Hannah no.

Tarmithéil
Tarmithéil was attempting to comfort his youngest sister when Yavanniel showed up. Yavanniel was their leader and immediately took charge when she arrived. She was right, they needed to think this through before they went to save Elentáríel. He thought for a moment when she posed the question as to how they could destroy a black hole. "I don't know sister, this was always Elentáríel's field of interest. Perhaps if we overwhelm it with light? The Voidlords always seemed to fear light, like it hurt them somehow." Tarmithéil said in reply.
