Cora arrived at the apartment with the others, and heard Naja and Katie talking about the apartment. Cora wouldn't want Katie to sleep on the coach, it was her apartment after all. Still, Cora couldn't help but notice how selfless she was. She was truly a good person. When Katie introduced herself she figured she should too, since they were to be a team and all. She realized she hadn't really told anyone her name. "And I'm Cora, it's nice to meet you all. It's amazing to be around so many other people with powers." She then thought what Katie said about equipment. "Well, I have a place where we can get advanced computers and things but..." Her face grew darker. "Well, I'd just have to back to it is all." She said, not elaborating, as she looked off to the distance a bit.

She then heard Katie and Kylie getting excited. Apparently they knew each other from before as Kylie introduced herself and took off her costume. She was glad that they were already friends, but she frowned when she heard that they were supposed to be roommates. Would that mean that Katie would kick Cora out?

Cora gave a shy smile at Kylie's compliments. She wasn't used to be praised. "Well thanks, it wasn't just me though. I couldn't have done it without Katie." Cora admitted. She was surprised when Kylie hugged her. She and Katie seemed to be quite affectionate people. "Hi Kylie, it's nice to meet you too." She then had a random question for Kylie, "What was that yoy did before, during the fight? Was thay some kind of greeting?" She asked curiously.

She then heard Katie praise her as well and began to blush, hoping the others wouldn't notice. She saw that Katie was moving quickly, she seemed to still be hyped up from the energy she had taken from Cora. Cora looked visibly relieved when Katie said that she could still stay there. Katie seemed to be able to read Cora's emotions quite well. Cora was glad she wouldn't have to leave and smiled, a little brighter than usual. "Well great, I'm glad I'll have two roommates as nice as you two." She said honestly. She really did like this new group, they were nicer to her than anyone had been in her whole life.

When Kylie didn't know what Cora was talking about she tried to figure out how to explain it. She had no idea whether or not it was a common thing, and didn't want to embarrass herself. She started to blush a little as she thought of how to say it. "Well when we were fighting the android, and you wished me good luck, you well... slapped my bottom. Is that common among friends?" She asked still blushing. It was a sincere question though, as Cora wasn't sure.

Hazzel
Hazzel saw Hiroshi's furious attacks against Broly and waited the the right moment to attack. Just when Hiroshi's attack against Broly landed Hazel raised his hands and gathered his energy. He created a large ki blast and shouted into the air slamming it down against Broly. It wouldn't be as powerful as Hiroshi's but it would still do some damage.

Cora
Cora smiled at Kylie's words, she seemed to be blushing and embarrassed. "Oh alright, it's okay. I'm not mad or anything, I was just curious." She said to Kylie. "Well, I should start thinking about maybe making a costume or something if I'm going fight crime with you guys." She turned to Kylie. "I really like your costume. It's cool how it comes out of your ring."

Cora smiled at Kylie's words and then saw Valancy come back in to the room after changing. That reminded Cora, she'd probably have to but some clothes, now that she didn't have to steal to get by anymore. She'd need money though, she figured she could make a decent amount selling some of the things in the lab that she had just asked the government for. They were to return everything from it so it would all be there. Cora just wondered if she would be able to face going back there again, she had once promised herself she never would. Valancy's words brought her out of her thoughts, and she nodded at her words, "Alright let's go." She said, heading out the door again with the group. She couldn't believe she was going to get coffee with friends, the idea was still unbelievable to her. Hopeful they wouldn't be stopped by a killer android this time.

Cora followed Valancy out of the apartment as the others chatted. She remained silent mostly, listening to the others speak. She noticed that Katie seemed to be very enamored with her boyfriend Eric, and Naja seemed to be quite experienced and knowledgeable. They walked through the street and soon made it to the small coffee shop that Valancy had led them to. They went inside and a number of new sights and smells hit Cora. She wasn't used to this environment and felt a bit overwhelmed, but it seemed like a nice place to her. When they reached the counter she looked up at the menu and saw a bunch of words she did not recognize. She was well educated in the lab before being turned in to an android and then was given a large amount of knowledge through programming, but that was all bigger concepts like coat strategies and molecular physics, not small talk and what to get at a coffee shop. She turned to the others and whispered sheepishly, "Uh, could you guys help me order? I've never been to a coffee shop before." She said, blushing in embarrassment.

Cora nodded to Kylie, surprised to hear that she happened to work there. She was glad that her new friends didn't seem to lack total knowledge about small simple things. She looked over the menu again, trying to figure out what everything was. Come on, your mind is literally part computer. You can figure this out. She chided herself, waiting for the others to order. She was probably going to copy whatever Naja or Katie ordered.

Cora gave Katie a grateful look when she ordered for her. Cora wasn't sure what hot chocolate was, since most of what she drank and at was water and basic fruits and vegetables to keep he self hydrated. She didn't necessarily need to eat, but she often did as a way to get liquids that she needed. She was glad that Katie seemed to be looking out for her. Even though they just met, Cora already trusted her, which wasn't something she did often. She smiled at her friend and shook her head at her question, "The hot chocolate is fine, thanks Katie." She said, giving her another grateful look as she had helped Cora avoid embarrassment.

Cora was listening to the others talk as the group sat down at a table together. She took a sip of her hot chocolate. She was amazed at how good it tasted, and sipped it more. She had never tasted anything that good. She heard Kylie and Naja talking about how they could build their base. "Well, I was able to get the place where I used to live back from the government when we talked to that agent. I haven't been there in years, but there are a number of advanced computers and machines there. We can use the ones we need, and sell the ones we don't." Cora said, trying to keep the bad memories from surfacing but it wasn't easy.

"Well, New York City seems like a nice place. I wouldn't mind staying here." Cora said to the others. "Well I'm not sure how we can make the money we need, I'm not very experienced with that kind of stuff. But that man in the suit said he might be able to help right? I don't trust people from the government usually, but maybe they can help us since we're doing them a favor by protecting people anyway." She to everyone sitting around the coffee table.

If we were really desperate, I would start making fruit trees and sell it, but we're not that desperate." Val said, chuckling to herself, munching on her doughnuts before taking a sip. She did wonder how far they'd go, and if they might expand, but the future looked bright at least. She looked down at her phone, seeing the name and saying to the others, "SHIELD."

Accepting the call, she said, "Hello, Director."

Cora nodded to the others as they seem to finalize their plans about their headquaters. Cora didn't know much about architecture or fashion, well she had an academic understanding of both, but not a practical one so she mostly sat in silence while the others talked. Then Valancy got a phone call and said it was Shield. Cora was curious, everyone seemed to talk about about this organization but she didn't really know what it was, however it seemed to some kind of government agency, probably one involved in defense if they were interested in their group.

Cora, A Few Weeks Later
It had been a couple of weeks since Android 22 had been defeated and locked away, but that wasn't the only thing that had happened that day. That was the day that the Justice Queens were born. Cora was happier than she could ever remember being. She finally had friends, a home, and she finally felt like she belonged. She was living with Katie, Kylie, Naja and Valancy, hee teammates and very close friends. Cora cared for all of them, as they were the first people she had met in New York and we're the first friends she had had in her entire life.

A lot had happened since then. They had been busy working on the skyscraper that would become their base, which thanks to a friend of Naja was finished rather quickly after they had gathered all the supplies. Cora thought it was pretty incredible, she had come so far from being a run away from a lab. That brought a bit of a dark thought to her mind but she pushed it aside as to not ruin her good mood. After all she had been spending her time learning about American culture and hanging out with friends. She had met Katie's boyfriend Eric about two weeks ago. He was shy but very kind, and Katie clearly adored him. She didn't see as much of her roommates as she would like but she knew they were busy with school. Cora herself had tried to get a job during her time there, but she didn't have any kind of resume and usually messed up during the interview. Luckily however the Defense department had decided to put her on their payroll covertly, as both compensation for her mistreatment as well as recognition of her abilities. She was now on call for dangerous situations that they weren't qualified to deal with, as well as smaller issues to help the local police with. Cora was reluctant to take their money but she needed it to pay bills so that she didn't mooch off Katie forever. Besides it wasn't difficult work. She mostly dealt with the occasionally robbery, or un-exploded IEDs.

Cora had been traveling for the last week and was currently on her way back to New York City. She didn't want to leave her friends but they were busy and she felt like this would be a good opportunity to travel some more. She had visited Gotham, Metropolis, and Star City. They were all amazing places, but none of them compared to New York in her eyes. She had missed her friends greatly, especially Katie and has glad that she'd get to see her and the team again but something was still nagging her. She had promised the team that she would bring back computers from the lab that she had been raised in, but she hadn't been there since she was rewarded it by the U.S. Government. Cora didn't tell anyone, but she was terrified to go back, just thinking about it made her shiver, her memories of that place were truly terrible. She didn't know if she'd ever be able to go back on her own. That's why she had a big favor to ask Katie, but she was nervous about that, was it too much to ask her?

Cora finally made it back to the team base when it was early evening. She landed on the roof of the skyscraper and made her way downstairs towards the team headquarters, wondering if anyone was there at the moment.

Cora
Cora had reached the main flow of their headquarters, and saw Valancy coming up from their lab downstairs. Cora smiled when her friend greeted her and Cora greeted her back, "Hi Valancy, it's great to see you again." She told her friend, giving her a hug since it had been over a week since she saw her. "How has everything been since I left?" Cora asked her as they stood in the main floor of their headquarters. They weren't finished decorating it and making it home, but there was still a good amount of furniture spread around the room, as well as a TV that was placed against the wall.

Cora had slowly been settling in to normal life, as her friends helped her learn the basics of fitting in in society. She even had a crime fighting name and a suit to go with it. She had finally decided on Infinity for her name. Katie helped come up with it when she made a remark about Cora's infinite energy supply. Her suit was a black cloth mixed with silver lining that had some armor plates built in for protection in a few places. Cora was really starting to like being a superhero. She enjoyed saying people and finally felt like she had a purpose.

Cora had finished chatting with Valancy and let her get back to work as she went to unpack her things. As she had unpacked she heard a voice coming from the tv room. Cora had excellent hearing and could tell it was laughter. She smiled when she recognized it as Kylie's. It had been a week since she had seen her friend and was looking forward to see her again. Cora headed down to the tv room where she saw Kylie laughing at the television. She watched her for a few moments before speaking up, "Hi Kylie, I've missed you." She said with a smile. Cora braced herself for a tight hug or any other greeting Kylie had in store for her as her friend was a very affectionate person.

Cora heard Kylie's exclamation when she heard her voice and braced herself for the hug. Luckily Cora's strength absorbed most of the force, it was still impressive. Cora smiled brightly and hugged her friend back. Listening to her excited words. "I missed you too Kylie. I'm sorry I missed the adventures. I was traveling a bit. Now that I have a place to call home I wanted to see a bit of the world. I went to Gotham, Star City, Metropolis, it was wonderful. I'm looking forward to hearing the adventures you all had." She told her friend as they hugged.

Suddenly there was a loud crash in the tower, "What was that?" She asked Kylie with alarm, preparing herself for a fight.

Cora had come by and saw a bunch of strange people on Kylie's room, they had based up the window and Kylie was very angry, more angry than Cora ha ever seen her. Katie then arrived and began yelling as well. Cora didn't even get the chance to say hello to her best friend because of all the commotion.

Cora made her way to the living room with the others when Naja came by asking what was going on. In the excitement neither Naja or Katie seemed to realize Cora was back from her trip, so she walked up to them and smiled, "Hi guys, I'm back." She said simply with a smile.

Katie was as sudden and swift in her greeting of her best friend in the world ever. She shot at speeds that made leopards look like overwheight slugs, she wrapped her arms around her friend and embraced her. "Cora! Oh my god you're back! I'm so sorry I didn't greet you!" She spoke as she let go and smiled. "I'm so glad your back! Now the whole team is together again... Well... Kylie is going to go to space, but mostly together!"

Cora watched Katie move at incredible speed to hug her. The android smiled brightly and hugged her friend back. "I'm glad I'm back too. I missed you Katie. And don't worry, there was commotion. I undestand." When they separated she spoke again, "So anything happen while I was gone? Beside that weird group of aliens breaking in to Kylie's room?" She asking with a joking smile.

Hazzel looked on grimly as Broly got up after their all out assault against him. If he could take that kind of hit and still be up and kicking, they were in serious trouble. Hazzel braced himself for their impending doom, suddenly the little girl from before began flying back toward them and attacked Broly. Then suddenly Broly aimed a devastating attack attack Hazzel. His body was filled with pain as he was sent flying backwards. He survived, but his body felt like it was on fire. He was barely able to lift his head and he was horrified when he had saw the little girl's vines being snapped by the monster. His eyes widened and he attempted to struggle to his feet but couldn't manage it.

Katie regarded Kylie. "Well it's your decision. I can take you off patrols for a bit if you want." She remarked, attempting to be supportive to her friend. She then turned to Cora. "Not really. I mean other than a few of the usual adventures..." She remarked. "Anywho, did you go back to the lab and bring back the computers? We could use a few more, plus some data on your systems should be useful."

Cora smiled as she spoke to Katie but her smile quickly faded faded when Katie mentioned the computers from her lab. Hee face visibly paled as she tried to stammer out an answer. "Well... well..." she stammered. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't lie to Katie, and she'd fond out that she was anyway, but she was embarrassed that she hadn't done what she had promised to do for the team. "I didn't go back yet." She said softly, averting her eyes from Katie a bit. "I know I said I would but... I was scared to. I'm afraid of the memories." Cora said honestly. She was on the verge of tears, she felt like a child, being scared of memories.

Cora relaxed slightly when Katie took her hands. She still didn't look up at her though. Cora was relieved that Katie didn't yell at her or chide her. She was understanding and sympathetic and that made things a lot easier for Cora. Cora felt very safe with Katie, like she was the one person she could really open up to completely, no matter what. She nodded slowly when Katie said she had to face her fears. Cora thought that was easier said than done but she knew Katie was right. If she kept letting her past control her she'd never be able to move on. Cora was very surprised at Katie's last words. She raised her head up to look at her, a few tears had welled around her eyes. She was so relieved that she wouldn't even have to ask, Katie had done it for her. "You'd do that for me?" She asked softly. Before Katie could even answer Cora was hugging her friend, "Thank you so much Katie, you're the best friend ever." Cora said sincerely as she held the other girl in her arms.

Katie suddenly felt bad as she saw Coras tears. She didn't like seeing Cora upset, as she realised for a while now. The poor android had been treated so badly that Katie couldn't help be feel bad for her. She felt guilty about the face your fears bit, wondering if it would be that easy for her were she in Coras shoes. Probably not. Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by a hug, at which she smiled. "Of course I would! That's what friends are for after all. I wouldn't say soenthing like 'face your fears' only to abandon you to face them alone. I'd be a horrible friend and teammate if I did that to you."

Cora held on to Katie a little while longer, gradually calming down thanks to Katoe's presence and her words. She eventually separated from Katie, and decided she should finally get over with what she had been dreading for weeks. With Katie at her side though, Cora felt a little less scared. "I hope I can return the favor one day Katie. I really appreciate all you've done for me. I suppose we should get it over with. You want to travel inside me?" She blushed a little at the awkward phrasing, "I mean the electricity thing you do." She added, embarrassed.

Cora saw that Katie seemed a bit excited at the idea before the excitement faded a bit, like she was hiding it. Truth be told Cora enjoyed the experience as well. Not only was it great tactically, Cora secretly enjoyed that special connection that she held with Katie. Cora nodded, "Alright let's go." She as she waited for Cora to turn into electricity and enter her body. Once she was inside Cora fly out of the window and then picked up speed as she entered the open air heading for West City. She was silent for a little while until she finally spoke so Katie could hear her. 'Katie, things might get rough in there. I don't know how I'll react. I hope you understand. The things... the things they did to me..." her voice trailed off and she was silent for a few moments before speaking up again, "Well, you'll see." She said before going silent again and speeding up a bit.

Cora didn't way anything else as they flew across the sky toward West City. She was too wrapped up in her own thoughts to say anything. Cora suddenly wondered if Katie had figured out how to read her mind yet like she said she was going to try to do. Cora hoped she hadn't, she didn't want to expose her to the dark thoughts she was having at the moment.

Soon they reached West City. It was a large city, with tall buildings and crowds on the streets. It wasn't as big as New York, but it was the largest city in the region. Cora continued flying over head until a large abandoned building came into sight. Cora tensed significantly when she saw it. She slowly landed in front of it and then spoke to Katie, "We're here. You can stay inside if you want, or come out." Cora told her friend who was currently still inside her.

Cora felt Katie take her hand and nodded at her words. She was very grateful for Katie being there. She didn't think she could do it without her. Cora led Katie into the abandoned building, still holding her hand the whole way. The building itself didn't seem like much. It was an empty building that was gathering dust. Cora knew better however as she headed toward a small door near the corner of the room. Cora pushed the old door open and revealed a stair case that led to an unlit basement.

Cora took a deep breath and led Katie down the stairs, bracing herself for facing her past. When they got about half way down the stairs the automatic lights flickered on, reveling the huge multi floor basement. Unlike the top floors the basement was in perfect condition, thanks to the deal that Cora had made.

The basement looked like a strange combination of a gym, and lab, and a hospital. In the center was a large circular machine that took up most of the room. Cora slowly approached it with Katie, and ran her free hand, which was shaking, along it. "This is a gravity chamber. It can simulate up to 300 times the eath's gravity. They made me train in here, 18 hours a day, ever since I was 5." Cora told Katie, hee voice starting shake as well.

She then headed headed down another floor with Katie. Cora was going pale now, this was the floor she was dreading. The main room looks like an operating room, with a number of tables and medical devices and machines around a central table. Cora suddenly burst into tears. "They operated on me here, everyday. They knew they couldn't kill me with operations and that I would heal almost immidealty, so they cut me open every day for their experiments. They called it the operating room, I called it the torture chamber." She said to Katie through her tears. She then headed toward another room that seemed like a smaller version of the operation room. "This is where they took me if I disbehaved. They would strap me to the table and fill me with chemicals. They made my stomach burn terribly, and my head feel like it would explode." Cora finally couldn't take it anymore and she fell to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. "17 years they had me here. I had no friends, no one to talk to, no hope." She told Katie through her tears. "They let me read. I read the bible when I was 6. I prayed every day for God's help, but it never came." She told Katie before sobbing so hard that she couldn't even speak anymore as she laid on the floor.
