Di’kllr sighed as he laid down on the base’s roof, back in his Namekian skin. He scanned the evergreen scenery surrounding him, he had thought this could be his home several months back, before the aliens landed. Even before his village was massacred, he had heard rumours of an army sacking and razing villages looking for a wish granting artefact. He had decided to bid his time, wait until the army actually arrives before leaving. This home, like his previous, is gone.
“Hey Di! Boss’ calling!”, It was Amy, Di’kllr got tired of Theresa the moment they met.
“What?!? He’s an Alien!” Theresa screamed before continuing on her whining.
Di’kllr thought the others were plenty nice. He even felt that Nathan was starting to become quite warm. He was still frustrated and confused at what happened in the room, Di’kllr instinctively clutched his chest as he replayed the memories of Nathan’s interrogation in his mind.
“Are you deaf?” Di heard Theresa remarked. Di turned over and laid on his chest as he tried to ignore the women’s shrill voice. His eyebrows twitched with frustration, he really wanted a nap.
“Di.” He heard someone else call, “Di!” It was Richard, and as far as Di’kllr knew, the leader of the team he was just inducted into.
“Whatttttt?” Di’kllr moaned as he rolled to the edge of the roof and stared down at Richard.
“Nathan wants a word with you.” Richard said sternly. Richard had been nothing but cold to him from the very start, Di’kllr thought it was ironic considering what the other mates says about his abilities. He’d at first thought that Richard acted this way to everyone, but he’d witnessed Richard teasing Nathan and the rest of the team at least several times, Di’kllr thought Richard must've had some beef with aliens.
“Alright, I’ll be down in a moment.”
