Seeing how the conversation between Kylie and Cora progressed, Jamie smiled a little, her fears being somewhat pushed back by how everything seemed to be fine so far. She was still a bit scared of everything that had happened, but she relaxed a little for now. That was, of course, until she saw Kylie's lips moving in a way that spelled out a rather ominous message. The sight of that caused the girl to pale again and shake slightly. She was completely silent as she traveled back home with the others, not feeling up for conversation in the least, hiding behind Kylie's trail of light as she did not want to be seen by the people flying around without her shades on.
When eventually they arrived back at the tower, she walked to the elevator alongside the others, directing a shy glance towards Mindy before turning her gaze away, feeling uncomfortable with having had to lie to her. The elevator ride to the apartment felt eternal and was excruciating for her, but she remained silent, not really able to work up the courage to say anything at all.
However, when the doors of the elevator opened up, Jamie took her opportunity and used the powers of her current Archetype to stop time, much like she had done when she had evaded arrest earlier in order to get Kylie's help. Then, with time frozen in place, she rushed over to her room and shut herself in, locking doors and windows. From the others' perspective it would be as if she had randomly disappeared, or perhaps teleported, though it wasn't particularly hard to guess where a girl like Jamie might have gone to hide.

Then she remembered most people weren't like her. Shrugging, she let her eyes wander with her thoughts until she saw Kylie mouth "your next". Wait...does, does she think I'll cry and hug her too? How about no.... When offered the ring, she declined with a wave of her hand. How in hell did everyone forget she could fly? She occasioally smirked for the pictures, enjoying the attention. They probably are cheering for someone else, but hey, I'm part of this.
Once home, Marybeth sighed, stretching her back. "Alright, that was fun. I guess I'll go hit the showers now. I'm pretty sure I got blood on my leg, so I wouldn't want that staying there."
Kylie was going to give Jamie and MB a stern talking to, but all that changed when they got home. Katie wasn't mad, and Kylie didn't think that causing more problems at home would help the situation. "Go on," She said to Marybeth. "We can talk about this tomorrow... once we all get over our emotions now." Before leaving the room, Kylie walked up to Katie, placed her hand on the electrical girl's shoulder, and looked her straight in the eye. Quietly, so that Cora couldn't hear (MB could hear everything, soooo...), Kylie whispered, "Try not to be mad... her heart was in the right place." She then walked away to the kitchen, hungry after all that had happened. "Green, go tell Jamie to get some shut eye or come down and eat. No one's going to be mad tonight."
The emerald jewelry complied, flying from Kylie's hand to Jamie's door. "Ms. Mason, Ms. Perceval instructed me to inform you that no punishment will be dealt tonight, and to travel downstairs to the kitchen if you are hungry." With that out of the way, Green returned as Kylie turned on the over. Can't go wrong with chicken tenders at 11 o'clock at night.
