When arriving at Vera with Mars, the puppy was instantly noticeable. But Rin was actually more surprised to see Xyri here. Not because it's weird for her to be hear, but no organs no blood vessels, no sounds you expect from a living organism in general. Xyri is probably one of the few people who could surprise me as my power doesn't register most of what she does, even sound passes through her, to a degree, making her a kind of an amplifier. To soft for anyone without my powers to actually notice, but for me, I hear the sounds that surround her as if they are coming from her making it really hard for me to know where she is unless I focus. And focusing is the last thing I want to do because right now I'm unintentionally spying, if I'd focus, it'd become intentional.

It was fascinating though in a way, to have someone that can surprise you when you usually know everything you will find before even getting close. I usually avoided her a bit, I wasn't sure how to react to her, but I have been trying to mimic social activity so I guess I should actually stop avoiding her. She likes hugs, I should hug her. When I walked up to her, fully planning to hug her, curiosity took over, if I hug her to hard, will my arms go through her? Will I get stuck inside of her?
Before even realizing what I was doing I found myself poking her jelly softly "Erm, sorry, I, erm ..." I was at a loss for words, I shouldn't have done this, I don't know what to do now. Common Rin, think of something, a distraction? "Erm, Rin was curious what would happen if Rin poked you." My face instantly turned red, Why did I start talking like the hulk, I'm smarter than him, I know how to talk in the first person! "I'm being stupid, sorry!" I somehow managed to shout and whimper at the same time, I should've just hugged her, now I'm just digging a hole for myself, a social pit of quicksand made from jelly, ..., quickjelly. That kinda sounds delicious. And now I just transitioned in to thinking how she tastes, even in your own mind you're being awkward Rin.

Knighthunt: Firefly

The Knight was sitting on the large Stone structure in the middle of Chicago's Central Park, currently he was discussing the recently learned Information with lawbringer.
["Anarky was an Imposter?"],
["Yeah, We've gotten reports he's elsewhere. The guy you unmasked has Brown hair, Anarky, also known as Lonnie Machin, has Blonde hair"],
The Knight nodded ["I'll track down the Real Anarky and deal with him at a later date, for now We still have 3 more Assassins to deal with"]
.
["Alright, Me and Sanza have pulled up a list. The people who have been hired to kill you are Killer Frost, Anarky, Copperhead, Firefly, Deadshot, and Deathstroke"].
"send me the Files"] The Knight said, Lawbringer sent him the files, and he began to survey the profiles.
["this is strange"],
["what?"],
["Copperhead's Files report a Male, but the most recent Report is of a Female"].
Before Lawbringer could comment, The Knight dodged out of the way of a large Blast of fire, which burnt the rock of the Stone structure he was on. The Knight looked, "firefly". "I'll Burn you in your armor, and Turn it into an OVEN!" Firefly yelled as he hovered just infront of The Knight. Firefly then attempted to douse The Knight in flames. The Knight dodged out of the way, sliding down the structure. ["Anna I need to go"] The Knight said as he readied himself to fight Firefly. The Knight looked around, trying to spot Firefly, Firefly found him as he doused The Knight with flames from his Flamethrower. The Knight dodged out of the way, as he used the fireproofing on his cape to protect himself against the flames.

The Knight rolled out of the way, into a clearer section of the park, the Scorch marks left on The Knight's armor gave a stark contrast to the rest of his armor. The Knight looked up at Firefly, "GIve up now Firefly, You don't stand a chance". Firefly cackled, "Says the man who's armor has currently been burned quite badly, let's see how you'll stand when i TURN IT UP A NOTCH". Firefly unlocked the lock on the flamethrower and began firing a high amount of fire per second at The Knight, The Knight ducked behind a large oak tree to attempt to escape the flames. Firefly cackled, The Knight rolled out from behind the tree, firing an electrical charge Knight Dart at Firefly. Firefly evaded the dart, then fired a blast of Flames At The Knight. The Knight dodged out of the way, though a small part of his armor was lightly burned in the process. The Knight quickly dived into the large water fountain in the center of the part, using the water to allow him some protection, The Knight grappled onto firefly and pulled himself towards him. before Firefly could react, The Knight quickly grabbed one of Firefly's large gasoline tanks, ripping it out and jumping off. Firefly grunted, "YOU'LL pay for that!". Before firefly could fire anymore flames, a blast of Ice hit Firefly, then a woman jumped i the air, kicking firefly, cracking the ice but sending him crashing into a tree.

The Knight paid little attention to the woman, as he pulled out his retractable sword, lunging towards firefly. Firefly attempted to fire more flames, but The Knight cut off the front nozzle of Fireflys flame thrower, then put his sword to firefly's neck. "kill me, do it" Firefly said. "no, not even you" The Knight said, retracting the sword to it's compact form, then heading butting Firefly so hard his head smashign into the tree behidn him, breaking off a chunk of the bark. The Knight handcuffed firefly, then tipped him over onto Firefly's side, The Knight turned to the woman who'd given him some help. The Knight recognized the woman as he approached her, "you're Ic, from the JLA", "yeah, something like that". The Knight gave a slightly confused glance, "why are you all the way out here in the midwest?", "The JLA hasn't been as blind to the million dolalr bounty like other ones have, I recommended I come and give some backup". The Knight nodded slightly in response, "I'm The Knight, based here in Chicago", The Knight extended a hand. Ice returned the handshake, "I'm Ice", The Knight nodded and handed Ice and earpiece. "looks like we'll be partnered up for the night, take this. if either of us find one of the assassin's we'll contact the other so we'll attack coordinated". Ice nodded as she walked off, then started to create an ice bridge where she traveled much faster. The Knight gave a glance at the knocked out Firefly, slumped against a tree, The Knight heard the police sirens in the distance so he took the initiative, and grappled off.

Xyri suddenly stopped hugging Vera and the turned to see someone poking her, her firm jelly skin resisting the poke. It was Rin, Xyri had not seen a lot of Rin, and knew very little about her. She knew her powers had something to do with sound. She seemed shy, but Xyri thought she was quite nice. Though she wasn’t able to really tell since she seemed to be avoiding the large slime being. She was at first confused as to why she was being poked. It wasn’t enough to hurt her, and she was sure Rin knew that, so she wasn’t sure what intent was being the action.

When Rin explained her actions, Xyri understood. She was a green, strange thing to these people after all. To anyone really, there was no being quite like Xyri it seemed. Though she was confused as to why she seemed to be turning red. “It’s okay… You didn’t hurt me or anything.” She replied, altogether very confused with what was happening. “You’re turning red… Are you ill? Or is that just part of your power?” She asked innocently. “I mean… I don’t know much about humans.”

"Wha-why-how..." Kirisvala babbled incoherently due to her sheer surprise, as she stood on shaking knees, looking up at the one creature in the world that she revered. She would've recognized her voice anywhere, though she hadn't expected to hear it there on the rooftop of the Tower of Youth, and now that she had turned around, she could see the unmistakable regal crimson attire, the golden crown on golden hair, and the red eyes on the face of the progenitor of the Hadrian race, protector of the universe and creator of countless worlds. The young Hadrian had been told now and then that her own eyes were a sign that she was destined for greatness, as they took after the eyes of the Goddess herself; indeed, red eyes like hers were rare among Hadrians, with most of them having duller shades of pink at most, and more often than not sporting gold or silver instead. She never did put much stock in such superstitions, however, and she discarded them completely after a while, at around the same time her family started treating her like a failure because she wouldn't conspire against the Goddess. Now, however, standing in front of her, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe the superstitions had some truth to them after all.

Either way, Kirisvala had absolutely no idea of why Hadrimmelis would suddenly show herself there, but she felt quite fortunate nonetheless, believing that she had finally had the honor of meeting the World-Dragon who had created everything that she had ever known before traveling to Earth. For just a moment, however, she also felt nostalgic. She would have loved to return to her home one day, even if it was not to see her family. She would have loved to see the metal spires of the Wynn mountains once again, to run past the bubbling magma pits and into the crystal city of Anriven, to play with the beasts of the wilderness once again. But she knew that such things were not possible anymore. The world of Hadrimmelis didn't exist anymore, and though the Hadrian race lived on, there were many things that she wouldn't see again.

Of course, she didn't hold it against the Goddess. She had done what was necessary to protect her people and the universe, after all. Kirisvala had heard all about it: Hadrimmelis had been crucial in driving back a bunch of people that threatened every living thing, the same people who had tried to attack the planet. She had done it all for a noble cause, and yet, despite knowing it, Kirisvala couldn't help feeling a wave of nostalgia washing over her.

She was taken away from that train of thought when something strange happened. Hadrimmelis, who had up until then simply observed the Hadrian girl, suddenly reached out and embraced her, surprising the girl even more than she had been before. After the initial shock, though, she felt herself relaxing. In the arms of her Goddess, Kirisvala felt safe, warm, unafraid. Her embrace was remarkably... motherly, and the girl's panic vanished altogether.

"I'm sorry my child. I did not mean to take your home from you, but there was no other way." Hadrimmelis spoke with sorrow. Kirisvala's eyes went wide.

"How... how did you know...?" The Hadrian girl wondered, uncertain of how Hadrimmelis had known about her thoughts just like that, though after a moment she reasoned that such things were hardly surprising, coming from a true Goddess, and so, she simply threw her doubts away, as she raised her own arms and surrounded Hadrimmelis with them, returning the gesture and burying her face in the Goddess' tall shoulder. She nodded at her. "I understand. I don't blame you for it. I know you did it for us." She stated, sincerity in her voice. She gripped the Goddess more tightly, though she was careful nonetheless. After several moments of silence, she finally spoke again. "...My lady, I'm scared..." She murmured very softly.

"I know. But you mustn't be. I am here to help you." Hadrimmelis stated, before pulling away from the hug, ignoring the gold stains on her shoulder and the small cuts on her cape. She then held a finger to Kirisvala's forehead. "Now, close your eyes and stay calm. You will not feel a thing, I promise." She said, and, trusting her wholeheartedly, the young magician complied, closing her red eyes and taking a deep breath in anticipation for... whatever was about to come. However, though she awaited patiently, nothing seemed to happen, not for several minutes at the least.

Eventually, she finally heard the voice of the Goddess again, but this time, it was inside of her head, rather than in her ears. "Your powers are now sealed, child of magic. They will come to you when you need them, but they will stay away when not." She stated. Her promise, evidently, had been kept.

Smiling widely, Kirisvala opened her eyes. But there was no one there.

Still concealed from sight by the shroud of darkness that she wore around her shoulders, which answered to her will and magically hid her from anyone who would look at her, Nelli continued walking through the streets of Jump City. The crowds, thankfully, had died down by now, and though the beasts of shining rock still rode upon the stone paths and plenty of pedestrians still walked through the streets, it was nothing compared to how things had been some time ago, which she was quite thankful for. As she walked, the hot asphalt burned her bare feet, but the Star Demon ignored the pain as though she didn't feel it at all, never once grimacing or anything of the sort. She simply weaved her way through the streams of walking flesh and crossed the rivers of black rock and metal boats, always moving towards the place that the butterfly had told her about before.

Eventually, the dark-skinned girl reached her destination. It was a massive building, larger than any of the ones she had seen earlier, and was in the shape of an unknown symbol. As she approached it though, she noticed that two other people were already there, standing outside as they seemingly waited for something to happen, and, believing that it might not be such a bad idea to try to interact with the humans for once, Nelli addressed them.

<<Hello there.>> She spoke to them, though of course, they wouldn't understand, as she was speaking in an entirely different language, using a dialect that was only used by those who inhabited the Hall of Descent. As she spoke, Nelli had also finally revealed herself: she was certainly prettier than the average human, but she wore only a plain white dress, was barefoot, and seemed to be holding a black knife in her hand, though she showed no intent of using it. Her black-edged, colorful butterfly wings remained concealed by the power of the shroud of darkness for the moment.

Garnet, however, rather than being alert and attentive towards Azami's words, stood next to Masami with her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes closed, her face looking as if she was somewhere between meditating and dozing off. Several moments after being addressed by the royal Nekomata, Garnet finally opened her left eye, noticing Azami looking straight towards her. She opened both eyes at that moment and stared back.

"Oh, whoops, sorry. Did you say something important for once? I think I must've missed it." She said with a grin, before turning to Masami, walking up to the Kitsune and putting a hand on her shoulder, looking straight into her eyes.

"Hey, Masami. Hand that sword over to her. You started acting weird ever since you picked up the damn thing and if there's anything I know something about, it's mindfucks and cursed weapons." The blonde woman said, evidently concerned with her friend's well-being, though her voice was stern more than anything. "I need you to trust me on this. Even if you think it's nothing. Just hand the weapon over and it'll all get sorted out." She requested. "Even if you don't trust your annoying aunt over there, surely you can trust me? If you think Azami's up to no good with the sword, then just give it to me, but I need you to let the sword go one way or the other." She said.

Both Akihiko and his mother were distracted by the sudden appearance of a small cat inside the house. Akihiko seemed more surprised than anything else, but the wheelchair-bound woman had a slight frown on her face as she glanced at the cat and then looked straight towards her son.

"Akihiko, did you leave the door open again? I told you that is dangerous. I'm not always at the counter." She chided him, but he shook his head.

"No, of course I didn't leave it open. Stop thinking I do everything wrong, mom." The young man complained, before kneeling next to the cat, petting it softly. "But mom's right, you know? Where did you come from, little guy?" He asked, though he obviously didn't think the cat could understand him.

"You know that's not what I'm doing." Akihiko's mother responded to him, sighing. She loved her child very much, but she was also convinced he was the reason her hair was paling more and more each day. "I'll go get her some food." She added as she turned the wheelchair around and rolled herself into another room. Akihiko glanced at her with mild confusion for several moments, before turning his attention back to the kitty.

"So, you're a girl huh?" He asked. "Well, it doesn't matter. You're welcome to come here whenever." He said, smiling as he continued petting the cat.

Sarah offered a weak smile to Roy and ruffled his hair in response to the gratitude he expressed. "No need to thank me. I'm the big sister, it's my job to keep you safe and well as long as you make my Hanah happy." She stated. Of course, the opposite was also true, and Roy would be really unlucky if he ended up hurting Hanah instead, but for the time being, Sarah said nothing like that, having no reason to suspect that such a thing would happen. Instead, she simply continued smiling at both him and Hanah, relieved that this whole mess that had ruined her family's vacation had not caused any harm to her boyfriend, Hanah's friend or her sisters in the end. However, she did snatch the grenade from Roy's hands, not wanting to take chances.

"I'll be taking this, though." She said, pulling the pin and then dropping it by her feet. Instantly, shadows engulfed the area around the explosive, completely surrounding it, allowing nothing to escape from their curtain. After several moments, she allowed the shadows to fade, and there, on the ground, she could see little more than scorch marks and inert shrapnel. Satisfied with this, she glanced at Roy once again, remembering something the boy had asked her earlier. "I'll teach you what I know if you really want me to, but not today. I'm exhausted." She said.

After she was done speaking to Roy, Sarah looked around and spotted John, walking up to him just as he was finishing talking to the police on the phone. When that was over, she grabbed his arm and pulled it around her shoulders before snuggling into his embrace. "Think you can take us somewhere nice for dinner? I just want to relax. That was enough adventuring for a day." She said with a small sigh, though she smiled at John as she looked up at him.

Uriel turned to see the rapidly approaching energy signature that was Kazuko, the God of Nature. He didn't know what to think of this person exactly, other than a degree of admiration and curiosity for restoring some of the planets vitality below them. Uriel was an admirer of life and a glance over Kazuko revealed the God's nature to him down to the genetic level. There was obviously something unique and special about Kazuko that Uriel could sense, as was the case with almost all living beings, but nothing that he could replicate from his genetic structure. That didn't bother him either; the avatar of Otis had been the same, not all abilities here were connected to their users genetic make-up.

He offered his own hand in response, shaking it briefly with Kazuko. "Yes, I am Uriel, I saw the job you were doing to the planets biosphere."

Uriel listened a little while longer to Kazuko, but before the God left, Uriel raised up a hand in warning and said; "Be on your guard Kazuko, I sensed a presence in this area recently that was so distant and so cold I could not identify it. Something of great power and malice is pressing itself against the surface of reality nearby; at least within this solar system. I am looking out for it myself, but I caution you to do the same in case it makes another appearance."

"I'm sorry...?" Asked Cat, wondering what the heck Nelli was saying, or whom this person was. Or where she came from, the language not meaning anything to her. She paused... she remembered she could look into peoples memories, so maybe if she touched her she could learn her language. She considered it for a moment, she reasoned it might be best not to do that as she might take that as a threat. She then looked to the black knife and wondered if this person was going to hurt her. "You're not going to try and use that...?" She pointed at the knife. "Are you?"

Masami looked at Garnet, and suddenly a thought, a horrible bestial thought crossed her mind. A violent one, and she actually entertained it for a second. She was tempted to attack Garnet, then use the blade to kill her aunt. Then- No... No no no. That's not me at all. She looked at Garnet's face, her expression turning to one of guilt, where before one might see a beastial rage within. She took a hand and placed it onto Garents arm, removing it.

She pulled out the sword from it's scabbard. The thing screaming at her to cut down her friend and her aunt, but she ignored it as best she could and then tossed the blade to the side. "I'm sorry Garnet..." She spoke, then sighed. Looking at Azami. "I don't care what happens to the sword. But if you want some advice, put it into the darkest and deepest hole you can find."

Azami shrugged. "That was what I was going to do anyway." She saw a surprised look from Masami. "What? You assumed I was going to use it to my own ends? I'm not heartless Masami. No, the sword will be kept safe. As for you two, your next mission lies in a hidden castle in the city of tokyo. Finding it will be part of the mission, seeing as I missplaced the map." A yokai servant passed her a note. "On there is the clue you must use. Find the castle. Then either kill or help the spirit on the grounds."

"I never had you pegged for the type who lives with his mom." She spoke. "Don't worry. I won't tease you or anything. I honestly think it's really sweet. I mean I technically live with my mother, but she's not nearly as nice as yours." She spoke. She then winked before Aki's mother came back, meowing a little and turning expectantly to the door when she thought of the prospect of food.

Hannah groaned as she returned to her normal form, suddenly becoming even more pale than Sarah as she bent over. She gagged, nearly hurling. "Ugh- Gak-" She sputtered, then coughed, getting up slowly and looking like she had spent a week getting sick. "Ugh. I'm okay... why do I even bother coming out of form? It sucks so much. Especially with dragon form..," She muttered. "Can we go somewhere with lots of food? I think that will help me... recover." She turned to Roy specifically. "Think you can come with us or something?"

"Part of my powers? No, no, I am blushing" I giggled a bit uncomfortably and before I knew it I began rambling "Blushing is the reddening of a person's face due to psychological reasons. It is normally involuntary and triggered by emotional stress, such as that associated with embarrassment, anger, or romantic stimulation. Severe blushing is common in people who suffer social anxiety in which the person experiences extreme and persistent anxiety in social and performance situations." I breathed a bit heavily, bordering hyperventilating before I started to calm down again. Hiroshi:

The moment he had the chance, Hiroshi was going to end this fight. His fight with Oniyo had tired him more than he'd have liked, and the longer he fought, the more taxing this whole thing became. Above all, he wanted to be home with his daughter right now, away from all of this pain and suffering. He was tired of fighting for his, and other beings, lives. Concentrating the fiery power rushing through him, the Halflings aura burst back to life around him. It was time to end their fight and go home, and that meant destroying this Demon God.

With a dark chuckle, Demigra charged through the air at the Saiyan, a hellish whirlwind of black power coming after Hiroshi like a freight train. Steeling himself, the Golden Saiyan felt muscle memory take over as his arms snapped up, a blue fist slamming into his guard for the briefest moment, before both warriors phased from sight. What followed was a whirlwind of punches, kicks and elbows, as Hiroshi pushed his offensive against the Demon God. Each strike was met with a perfect counter. Fists and boots were batted away in perfect tandem, any attack that landed having an immediate effect on the victim. Flesh was bruised and weathered. Strike, strike, strike, strike, block. The motion of battle shifted hundreds of times as each combatant pushed an opening or followed up a previous strike, the flurry of blows lasting a couple seconds at best. After blocking a haymaker, Demigra swung under Hiroshi, his entire frame shifting powerfully through the first damaging blow of the clash. Flesh slammed violently against the Hybrids teeth, blood spattering against the opposite side of his mouth, his entire form folding from the force. Time slowed as the viscousness of the blow reverberating through the air, Hiroshi having responded without quite realizing it.

A blossoming corona of gold made itself known, the Saiyan responsible having been carried at least a mile back by the force of the strike. Propelling himself faster, Hiroshi saw the gore left from his attack. As foolish a plan it was, the Halfling had succeeded in eliminating any threat the demon might have offered. The floating demon almost seemed lost for a moment, what remained of his legs floating in a crimson cloud of gore. Appearing before him, Hiroshi let a small breath out, his eyes fading to onyx as his hair fell, matted by weeks of sweat and dirt.

"It's over." The Saiyan remarked coolly. " You'll more then likely die out here, but I'm guessing you knew that already."

Shield HQ, New York
Sony

Sony stood at the doorway, with a tough grimace on his face, as the red dot sights of the soldier's rifles trained on his center of mass. Nick Fury continued, "I knew you'd be here at some point". "Then you should know I'm bulletproof" Sony noticed some of the soldier's rifles shook ever so slightly. "I'm here to confront you Fury, But I'm not here for a fight", Nick Fury nodded, "and thats why your tore your way out of the facility you were kept at?". "they assumed i was a mindless monster, exactly the opposite of what i am". Nick Fury nods in response, reaching in his pocket for a cigarette, "then I'm sure you're sane enough to come back into custody, where we can properly discuss". "not gonna happen", "suit yourself. fire". The soldiers took stance and opened fire on Sony, Sony was knocked slightly off focus, but regained himself, as the bullets from the soldiers. Sony lunged forward, knocking 2 of the soldiers back with one large swing, Fury ducked out of the way, as Sony kicked one soldier into a computer monitor, Sony then grabbed the two other soldiers and heaved them off the balcony and onto the terminals and computers below. Sony looked back at Fury, Fury stood up. "hehe, you've done it now Sony, attacking Shield Operatives" Fury pressed a button on his glove requesting for reinforcements. Sony then jumped form the balcony to the lower floor below, Sony then aimed and jumped out of the windows with the shield insignia in them. Sony propelled himself over to the roof of an apartment building on the other side of the street. while running, Sony kept thinking to himself, 'Fury didn't have any answers, i could tell by his demeanor, if not fury, then who?"

Knighthunt: Copperhead

The Knight grappled up to a Large crane, overlooking the Chicago Pier shipping yard. The Knight had been informed by Ice, that Copperhead was seen here, The Knight Told ice to keep looking for Deadshot and Deathstroke, He'd handle Copperhead. The Knight glided down, landing on one of the many stacks of shipping containers, The Knight peered around, Turning on his Infrared sight. The Knight caught a glimpse of a heat target on the ground below him, trying to get a better look, The Knight was caught off guard when he heard footsteps running towards him. The Knight turned, only to have Copperhead flip and Kick him off of the Stack of Containers, The Knight shoot his Grapple pulling him up onto the opposite stack of containers. The Knight turned and looked at Copperhead, "You're Copperhead?", Copperhead gave a menacing smile, "and You are The Knight". "The Criminal Database said you were a Male, not a Female". Copperhead chuckled, "as aparências podem enganar". Copperhead then jumped over the large gap and lunged at The Knight, The knight was not quick enough to stop as Copperhead slid under him, jumping on his back, Copperhead readied oen of her poisoned tipped gauntlets and attempted to strike at The Knight.

The Knight blocked copperhead's strike, grabbing her wrist and throwing her off his back, The Knight grabbed Copperhead's forearm and twisted it behind her back. Copperhead grunted, kicking The Knight off and going back into her fighting stance. "um cadáver. when I'm done with you, There'll be nothing left but a Corpse!" Copperhead yelled as she ran At The Knight, The Knight attempted to throw a punch at Copperhead while she was running, however she ducked under just before it connected. Copperhead slinked around The Knight's back, striking with her poison tipped gauntlet and this time, getting a connected strike at the Knight. The Knight grunted as Copperhead jumped off, The Knight touched the stabbed area and saw blood on his fingers. "what did you do to me?" The Knight said, his voice ever so slightly cracked from the poison's effects. "Killed you" copperhead said walking to the end of the container stack, "though in the next few minutes, your body will realize it" she said jumping off. The Knight took a knee under pressure from the poison,

Communications Engaged...
[*cough* "Lawson.."]
["jesus Marcus are you alright?, Your Vitals are off the charts"]
["Copperhead... *hack*..."struck me with a Toxin, Hyperlethal cobra venom....Have Sanza send an anti-toxin"]
["Alright, Get to the Crane, I'll have a drop-pod land there"]
Communications ended.......

The Knight stumbled, the Poison was potent, if he stopped the Poison could quickly overtake him. The Knight took a breath, then got back to his feet, as he walked forward his walking wasn't as solid and intimidating as it was beforehand. The Knight stumbled once more, taking a knee, he saw a pair of legs, The Knight looked up questioningly to see his mother. "M-Mom?" The Knight said as his voice cracked a bit. "son, why are you wasting your life doing this. Youre not avenging my name you're destroying it". Before The Knight could respond his mother dissapeared in a could of black smoke. The Knight knew he wouldn't be able to grapple his way up, so he walked to the edge of the stack of containers and dropped down to a lower container, Landing with a loud thud. The Knight bit down the pain, not showing any of it, The Knight stood up to be face to face with Anna. "anna what are yo-", "You're dragging me down into your pit of Grief Marcus,. Why WHY?!" Anna dissapeared in the same could of smoke like The Knight's mother did. The Knight shook off the halucinations and dropped to the ground. The Knight walked over to the crane elevator, having to lean on the containers and slide along to regain strength.

The Knight half stumbled into the Elevator, half stumbling to the back and pushing the button, The Knight turned around. The Knight turned around to see Black Mask, Black Mask chuckled, "you never stood a chance" Sionis said as he pulled out his 500 magnum revolver and aimed it at The Knight's head. just as he pulled the Trigger, Black Mask dissapeared in the same cloud of black smoke. The elevator reached the top, The Knight stumbling out and leaning on the railing, The Knight walked up the stairs to the top of the Crane, The Knight jumped, grippign the edge of the crane box and pulling himself up. The Knight took a deep breath, taking a knee, then pushed a button on his gauntlet, "sanza, drop in the Anti-toxin", [Already there sir] Sanza said as a drop-pod dropped in, landing just infront of The Knight. The Knight placed his hand on the hand scanner, causing it to flash green and opening it. The Knight quickly took out the syringe and injected the Anti-toxin into his neck, causing the effects of the Poison to wear off. The Knight took a breath and stood up, "NO, estúpida veneno porra , You should be DEAD!". The Knight turned around to see Copperhead standing ontop of the crane arm just above him.

"Now, Let's fight, Man to Scum!" The Knight said readying himself, "homem estúpido" Copperhead said lunging forward at The Knight. The Knight prepared himself, moving just to the left and knocking Copperhead head first into the ground. Copperhead regained herself, standing up, she then delivered a large horizontal kick straight to The Knight's abdomen, The Knight caught Copperhead's leg, bringing his knee down breakign her keecap. "ARUGH!" Copperhread screamed falling back gripping her knee. he Knight then grabbed Copperhead by the collar of her jacket, and Headbutted her, Knocking her unconcious. copperhead fell to the ground. The Knight then grabbed copperhead and heaved her over her shoulder and dropped down onto the crane walkway, heading for the elevator.

2 minutes later....

Copperhead woke up, finding her Leg in a brace with gauze and a splint, and her hands cuffed behind her back to a laege crate. Copperhead looked and saw she was at the back of a Shipping container, with The Knight standing infront of her staring down. Copperhead growled, "você idiota porra , você quebrou minha perna !", "If you didn't want to broken, you shouldn't have picked a fight with me". Copperhead gave a confused look, "você fala brasileira ?", "Yes, aswell as over 25 Different Languages". The Knight stared at copperhead, "you're not the male copperhead the national criminal database knows, so who are you?", Copperhead scoffed, "go to hell". "I guess I'll just lock you in this container and wait for the police to take care of you" The Knight turned to walk out of the container. "My father was the original copperhead, he retired and ended up getting killed by crimelord in south america". The Knight stopped, he recognized the accent, South American. The Knight turned around and took a few steps forward, "and you took up the mantle for him? killing, butchering", "parafuso fora , eu nunca matei, Only mained". The Knight nodded, "I'm guessing this county thats on my head was your big score?", "my sister, os senhores do crime veio à nossa casa e vencê-la para perto da morte, We didn't have enough money to stop her internal bleeding, I joined the criminal ranks to help pay for her treatment to keep her alive". The Knight nodded slightly in response, The Knight tossed a set of keys which Copperhead caught. Copperhead looked confused, "wait, Aonde você está indo?". The Knight stooed at the entrance to the container, "Giving you a chance. Find me when this is all over and I'll help your sister" The Knight said, then grapple away.

Hadrimmelis smiled at Manifest's last remark, and then pulled the recently ascended New God into an embrace.

"I don't believe you at all." She spoke, her tone not quite somber and yet full of stern skepticism. She let go shortly after, her smile still present.

"However, I do admire your determination and the resolve with which you speak these words that I find so absurd. You have convinced me that, in any case, your intentions are not corrupted, and so, I will gladly give you this 'blessing' that you ask for in this endeavor of yours. Continue doing what you do best, Charles. And if, despite it being entirely impossible, you do still manage to create this utopian realm you speak of so fondly and hopefully, then on that day, my friend, I will gladly swallow my words. In the mean time, you will have to content yourself with my blessing." The World-Dragon stated, before turning around, her red cape and cloak both billowing behind her despite the obvious lack of wind in that place.

"Now then," She spoke. "if that is all, I do believe that I have fixed approximately ninety percent of the total damage caused by the Builder War by now, so, instead of continuing that I believe I will return to my exploration of human culture through the use of the Orb of Cognition. This 'One Punch Man' animation in particular is rather amusing. Farewell, Manifest. We will meet again soon I suspect." She stated, before flying off the Universal Fortress.

Manifest watched his friend leave, expressionless. Internally, however, he was a whirlwind of conflict- She gave her blessing, yet what she said... It would not do to think on this now. There was too much work.

Later, then, he would consider what she said. Perhaps when he was less sure that doing so would make him doubt himself. He returned to his meditations at the centre of the facility.

The fragment glowed crimson for a moment before the blobs solidified. Each formed a perfect cube. "One of these is hollow. On top of it is a black marking. Leave it intact, but destroy the others." About half of the metal blobs streamed into the walls, leaving around 200 targets throughout the room, with the marked cube placed randomly throughout it. The cubes themselves were each moderately difficult (for the average GL) to destroy, and, after they were, the metal would stream into the walls.

Julie nodded, and then set about quickly finding the one with the black marking. And then she turned to a nearby box and aimed at it with her ring. She frowned as the ring had trouble blasting the box apart, but managed to do it after some time. She looked at it frowning. One by one... that's going to take too long. And I'm guessing that part of the test is going to be the speed at which I demolish these things. She thought. And then she grabbed the marked box and moved it to the side of the room and protected it with GL shielding. She picked up one of the boxes telekinetically and had an idea. She both used her martian powers and her ring powers in concert, increasing the amount of force she could use dramatically. She aimed her box at a northern cluster of boxes and then sent the missile hurtling towards the group with railgun like force, the explosion obliterated the boxes around the projectile box. She repeated this a few times with those areas not so close to the marked box. And then she used both her martian powers and her Gl powers to tear apart those boxes that were near her box. She had cleared out all the boxes with quite efficient speed.

"Good." The fragment was beside her once more. "That test was not about your strength, for all Green Lanterns are powerful beyond measure, nor was it about your speed, for you have already proven that. That was about your ingenuity. For now, we are done. You have passed my preliminary tests- Nothing further can be done without observation of your actions in the field. As for that, when the need arises-" It suddenly visibly winced, rapidly turning its head.

The Silhouette of Adventure wrote:Manifest was meditating in the centre of the Throne when he felt it. His eyes opened wide and flashed crimson. "Shit." He reached out, grasping the Manifest Blade and activated the Orb of Cognition. "Call Valka," he muttered with a scowl. "Tell her that I feel a presence similar to Darkseid's on Apokolips. I don't know how this is possible, but I am going to find out."

The fragment continued to stare for a moment. "We may get it sooner than expected."

"Leave to Earth. The Prime fragment is in Praetoria. Meet with Superman and the League on board their Watchtower, let them know Manifest sent you. Tell them..." The fragment hesitated for a moment as it received information from the main Manifest. "Tell him Yuga Khan, the father of Darkseid and manipulator of the Source, plans on destroying it. There is a warp gate-" It suddenly sped directly in front of her, pressing its finger to her forehead. She received a psychic map of the facility- At least, the path to the warp gate. "There. It leads to the Builders' War Memorial when it is set to Earth. Tell the League to contact Naja- She will be directing the physical defence." It melted, leaving her alone with this sudden revelation.

The Republic of Atria wrote:"Don't have to. He wants Khan dead just as much we do." Xander replied. "Namely for using him an ICBM. Honestly, Otis and Thanos know more about this than I do." He said waving his hand for them to come over. "Information. Anything and everything that could be of any help. And as for your new powers, that's great. We'll needed every bit of help we can get. Though I'm slightly peeved I didn't get any god powers..." He said and shook his head. "Start talking, both of you."

"He's strong as hell. Like, he was smacking me around like I was a ragdoll, and me and Thanos were beating the tar out of each other on mostly even ground. He's not a fan of pants. Has a horned helmet, stupid mustache, and is a huge ball of rage. His normal face looked like some veins were gonna pop. That's about all I gathered from the fight I had. Oh, and he somehow redirected my Omega beams. Never seen anyone do that before. Didn't even know it was possible." He said counting on his fingers thinking for a moment. "Yeah. That's all I know."

"He is the father of Darkseid. The child speaks true. From my brief encounter, he seems to be superior to Darkseid in every physical way. I believe he has the ability to alter the fabric of reality. Likely due to his potent connection to the Source. A physical confrontation would be disastrous, even for your champions." Thanos explained. "You must first devise a way to disrupt his connection to the Source. If he were to invade this planet, it would take him no more than the twitch of a finger to destroy it."

Xander sighed. "Alright. Thanos. I have some of the best technology in the galaxy right here. You've got the brains. We need to make this work. In the event you can't..."

"You do not need to remind me, human. Yuga Khan is every bit a threat to me as he is to you." He said and then noticed Xander had a backup plan. "Human. If you believe you have a way to stop Yuga Khan. Now is not the time to withhold ideas."

"Alright, who knows what spoils of war are? Everyone I assume. Well. I took some shit from the Builders that looked important. And you're going to help me figure it out. Namely because I can't decipher the language."

"Builder Technology is superior to any technology in this universe. Let us not waste time. We will start immediately."

"Great. Thanos and I will go work on this. Manifest, see if you can contact Hadri and Valka. I want all hands on deck. Stop him if you can, barring that, stall him. I have half an idea that just might work, but we need time. So keep Khan busy."

The Republic of Atria wrote:"Thanos and I will work on our little project. I'll have Naja meet up with you guys. She'll take my place while I'm working." Xander said. "Form a perimeter, lure Khan, and keep him busy. Hell, beat him if you can. Then maybe we won't even have to bother. Let's get to work Thanos." Xander said and left the room with Thanos behind him.

Manifest nodded, unsheathing his Uru sword, the Infinite and taking out the shard at its core. He tapped it twice, signalling for Valka to come with her sword. His eyes flashed as he unscrewed the top of it, lighting the eternal fire and replacing it in the sword. As he placed it in, the Asgardian fire began to spread along the length of the blade, augmented by the power of a New God to, hopefully, be fit for fighting an Old. "Valka, my friend- War is coming."

Next, he took out his Orb of Cognition, calling for Hadrimmelis. "I am sorry for interrupting your leisure time, my friend. Darkseid's father comes bearing the tidings of oblivion. Will you help us defeat Yuga Khan?"

Lastly, he turned towards Otis. "Valka, I presume you've met. Hadrimmelis is an immortal World-Dragon, who fought half the Builders' War single-handedly. Tell me, kid- You ever fought simply to not die? It's damn exhilarating. Been a long while since I've had the honour." He gave the New God a small smile, his crimson eyes gleaming with determination. His helmet reappeared and the Manifest Blade appeared in his hand. The sheer amount of power coming off of the New God was enough to give the Parasite a headache- The mostly unlocked Manifest Blade, the power of a New God, and the Asgardian eternal flame augmented by the God of Fragments. "Darkseid was always one of the most powerful beings in the Universe. Guess that means you're leading the charge, eh? You ready?"

"The battles never seem to end, do they?" Valka noted, speaking with Manifest through the Blade. "But I will be there to fight alongside Midgard," she promised, soon appearing besides Otis and Manifest, her sword unsheathed, and so it would remain until the battle was won or she was slain. "Yuga Khan," she mused, nodding in greeting to the two heroes. "It has been several centuries since I last heard that name, and from what I heard of it, we shall not win through the might of our arms alone."

She then took a second, longer look at Manifest, her eyes seeming to penetrate into him. "You have grown, my friend, not in stature, though there is an aura around you. An aura of a god. I assume you were supplemented by Darkseid's death as Otis was." she said, before speaking to both of them. "The Old Gods are in uproar over this surge of New Gods. Some of the Godheads wish to declare war, proclaiming that humanity was not meant for godhood. And perhaps they are right in the latter regard, as I know not whether Darkseid's death was for good or ill, no offense meant to thee, Otis. But what I do know is that you, and all Midgardians are friends. And possessing considerable power and influence over the Godheads, with the help of Athena, I have convinced them to stay their swords, and let the New Gods be. But there are factions within the Old Gods grumbling, thirsting for war, and so, tread carefully, and do not enter into the bastions of pantheons upon Earth, save that of the Olympians." she said solemnly.

Valancy, seeing the danger, intercepted the oncoming mutant, her fist covered again with rocks as she delivered a uppercut, sending him flying. "I know Valka. I had Mjolnir for a few days. And as for fighting just for survival? Man, I killed Darkseid. If you saw the video, it was mostly him kicking my ass up and down the street until I got a lucky shot. So... Yes. I'm not a fan of fighting to be honest. Doesn't mean I don't know how, but I just don't like it." He explained. "And why do I have to lead the charge?! Yogi kicked my ass up, down, sideways, and invented a new direction, which he proceeded to kick me in. Isn't charging into battle Valka's thing? And I have no idea who that is. I will call her Hadri because I can't be bothered to pronounce the rest of that." He muttered. "Alright. I'm not even legally old enough to drink booze. And I have to defend the planet from the father of the god I killed. Tell me. You look older than me. IS that bullshit of the highest degree, because I think it's bullshit of the highest degree."

Sure, there wasn't anything anyone could do to stop him from drinking alcohol, but it was the principal. He was just about to turn twenty years old. He should not be fighting space deities. He should be working at a minimum wage job trying to get his life started. A minute or so as he continued bitching, Naja walked in. "Sorry. I was making sure Zod didn't choke the life out of the new recruits. What's this about an invasion."

"Long story short. Darkseid's daddy is a little bit absolutely livid that we exist and he wants to make us not exist. He's also more powerful than both me and Thanos. We know. He kicked my ass, hard. He and Xander put their differences aside because Yogi bear is a bigger asshole than everyone else in here combined... He also doesn't like pants... I think that about covers it."

"We can't go twenty minutes without pissing off some god with our mere existence, can we?" She asked. "Alright. I can't believe it's Tuesday already. Since he's coming to us. Let's lure him some place where we can hit him without endangering everyone who lives there. Like say... Here. Everyone's indestructible and the city is self repairing."

"Guys..." Xander called out from his workshop. "Got a report about something big headed this way. Get everyone assembled and kick his ass."

"God of Fragments." Manifest acknowledged. "Thank you for halting their blades, Valka. I don't believe that fight would've gone well for either side." He sighed. "The Godheads are a fickle bunch, aren't they?"
The Republic of Atria wrote:"I know Valka.

"Guys..." Xander called out from his workshop. "Got a report about something big headed this way. Get everyone assembled and kick his ass."

"Welcome to the Superhero world, kid." Manifest chuckled darkly. "Bullshit odds are the name of the game." He nodded towards Naja as she walked in. "The JL, the Avengers, Fury, and Brand are all gathering their forces, but it'll take them a bit to get here. For now, it's us." He stretched his arms within his armour. "All right. You want to lure him in? I can do that. I made pissing off people stronger than I am into an art back when I was a SHIELD grunt." He tilted his head for a moment, considering. "Just how much damage can this place take? Say... A Moon? More, less?" He turned towards Naja, completely serious with this question. "Some of my attacks are a bit more... Explosive than others. I almost levelled Asgard a while back."

Demon God Alastir

As Alastir's Illusion and Arctico continued fighting against each other, Alastir could feel it, the fading life force of Demigra, he was nearly dead from the head-first assault provided by the Saiyan-Kaioshin Halfling and Alastir expected every moment of this, he planned everything to his specifications, he knew that the Halfling would not be able to successfully kill Demigra due to the lack of energy, but now the chance was his and Alastir would not let this go to waste "Finally!" Alastir exclaimed in satisfaction as he shot forward into the heavens, Demigra's darkened signature was fading quickly, but Alastir was confident that he would be able to absorb Demigra's power now, he was in a weakened state with no bit of resistance left in the Makaioshin of the Demon Realm "I could take my time reaching him, but I don't want this opportunity to slip past me, I've planned this for so long!" Alastir cackled inwardly, his energy signature being so great that it could have been sensed from within the system.

As Demigra floated aimlessly, his energy waning into non existence, his eyes still very much wide open with life evident within them, how could he, the God of Time lose to such a lowly Saiyan?! How was it possible?! He was the God of Time, he had control of the timeline, HIM and HIM alone. In a last act of defiance, Demigra called upon what power remained from within him, the energy sparking in his left hand, he was intent on bringing the Saiyan-Kaioshin Hybrid with him, but to his shock, all he could see was a shroud of darkness approach him at such a rapid rate that he could not respond to it, with his eyes wide open in fear, Demigra attempted to flee, but to no avail as the shroud of darkness enveloped his very body and began to tear him to pieces, his blood curdling scream being heard from the Demon Realm as well as Hell itself "You're power..." Alastir's voice echoed in restrained joy, absorbing the Demon God's power in quick succession "IS MINE!" Alastir cackled, Demigra's physical body fading away, his darkened essence entering Alastir's body, empowering him with all the energy of Demigra, the Demon Realm, and even the very essence of Hell.

Within moments the stars around the very fabric of space began to darken, their light being extinguished by the darkness caused by the sudden shift of power, a purple-reddish hue began to descend all around the large orb of darkness that was Alastir's ethereal body, a dark chuckle resonating from deep within it's core, the voice being downright evil and demonic to say the least "Finally..." The darkened orb stated, it's very foundations beginning to crack as Alastir's new body began to take form once more, the cracks becoming bigger and bigger with each passing second before suddenly and abruptly shattering in all directions, followed by a hellish aura shooting out in all directions, causing a chilling darkness to expand to the ends of the Universe itself "After long last..." Out of the darkness that was Alastir's new body, a being of pure darkness, with lines of pure light that was the trapped energy of the now extinguished stars surrounding this being, eyes as red as blood themselves, and unruly hair with a saiyan-like tail emerged from this frightening display of negative energy "I FEEL ALIVE ONCE MORE!" Alastir cackled, his dark, baritone voice echoing throughout the void, now the New Demon God, the mighty Alastir had been born, the Makaioshin of the Demon Realm had been reborn once more.

John smiled, almost in relief when Sarah grabbed his arm and wrapped it around her. He was glad to see that he still had her affection. He held her close to his chest as they stood together and smiled at her request. "Of course, there are some good restaurants around here to go to. Not anything incredibly fancy, but good food." He said before continuing. "I'm sorry if this trip hasn't been what you were hoping for so far. Tomorrow we can stay in at the hotel if you want while Sam, Hannah and Roy explore the park again. They have couple massages and stuff like that at the resort. There's also nice shops and stuff on the boardwalk. We can take a walk around there, whatever you want."John said, clearly genuinely interested in wanting Sarah to enjoy herself.

Roy smiled when Sarah ruffled his hair, unused to the behavior, but clearly appreciative of it. He quite liked Sarah, they had just met and she already felt like the older sister he never had. Well besides Kylie, who was also the older sister he never had. He was then surprised and very grateful when Sarah said she could teach him what she knew about darkness manipulation. "You can? I'd really appreciate that Sarah, thank you." Roy told her before hearing Hannah's gagging and turning toward her.

Hannah looked quite ill and Roy ran over to her in concern. "Hannah are you alright?" He asked as she gaged, putting his arm around her back to brace her. He frowned when she said it was a result of her changing form. "I'm sorry you have to go through that. You were amazing though back there. You really helped me and your sisters out." He then blushed when Hannah asked if he could come to dinner with them. He knew about dating, but had never really experienced it first hand. Though he didn't even know if this would count as a date since other people would be there, but he knew he wanted to spend more time with Hannah if he could.

"Sure" Roy said as casually as possible to try to hide his nervousness. "I don't have any plans or anything. So I'd like to come with you guys." He said, a smile finally breaking through on his face.Joh then called his driver who met them at the nearby parking lot and drove them off to a nearby restaurant. John sat with Sarah, holding her close, his fingers intertwined with hers. They soon arrived at a large steakhouse nearby. It was a pretty diverse restaurant and John usually went there when he was in Florida. It had barbeque, steaks, seafood, as well as a number of salads and an digger dishes as well. He figured this would be the perfect place for Hannah who clearly needed the pick me up. They head inside and we're seated at a Tae for five. Roy sat next to Hannah almost immideatly, and Sam couldn't but smile as she sat on Hannah's other side, picking up her menu as she browsed what the restaurant had to offer.

"Black Nova!" The shout echoed through the barren cityscape. "Show yourself!"

The Hadrian huntress was walking through what appeared to be little more than an abandoned urban settlement, littered with half-ruined fully grey skyscrapers and run-down houses. In fact, everything seemed grey around her. The earth from before had been no different, but at least there was some authenticity to it, there were signs that indicated that such was the true color of the land that surrounded her, and even if this soil was so desecrated that no life could possibly bloom on it, she respected it. This ruined city, on the other hand? This bastion of monochrome desolation in the midst of nothingness? There was nothing to respect about it. Clearly whatever cowards had built such a thing had long since left, unable or unwilling to stand the ground and face whatever odds were stacked against them like any real warrior should. The stone on the ground was the same color of the soil before, but this time it was well and truly dead, not even a real part of the planet it belonged to. The buildings themselves, which even now populated the destroyed city, were probably discolored by the tests of time, and not intrinsically colorless, as there signs of the brightness that they had once possessed, motes of colorful dust flying around in that windswept land.

There where she walked, a trail of crimson drops inevitably followed, dripping slowly but steadily from the myriad small cuts and shallow wounds around her body. The small areas close to her shoulders where her arms were not completely enveloped in scales stronger than steel had not fared too well, and though they were devoid of burn marks thanks to her natural immunity to nearly any kind of flame, there were several red lines in her soft flesh where she had been struck by the burning shrapnel from the crashed ship, all of which leaked drops of blood which formed small trails that slowly travelled down her arms and through the black scales before falling off her claws and onto the ground. Her legs and torso had not fared much better, and many rips were visible in the loose-fitting red pants that covered her legs, as well as in the worn white bandages which were the only things she wore over her chest, both items now partially stained with blood as well. There were a couple of cuts on her cheeks, too, and one running diagonally across her nose. But despite all of this, she did not seem impaired at all, marching forward as though she felt no pain whatsoever, the blood loss completely ignored by the indomitable huntress on a warpath.

Another thing she ignored as well was the utter desolation of the city. Superficially, it would seem impossible for anyone to remain there, but Seriskira did not seem swayed by this notion in the slightest, her step slow and steady but never stopping, making it seem as though she was utterly convinced that there was someone left in this city which happened to have the flag of the Sunstorm Pirates flying over it in the lifeless wind. Sure enough, she was swiftly proven right when, all of the sudden (or so it would appear to an observer), an enemy, a pirate, jumped out from the shadows.

"Stop right there, wench!" The pirate shouted, pointing an enormous shoulder-mounted weapon at her. "I don't know who you are or where the heck you came from, and I honestly don't care that you don't seem to be able to pilot shit. We've surrounded you without you noticing and-"

"Wrong." Seriskira stated with what could only be described as a bored voice. She lifted her massive claws to nonchalantly point at her sides before speaking again. "I know you have me surrounded. I've known that you were gathering around me all along; you're noisy. But I don't care, because you're all just bugs to me and squashing you would be a needless distraction. Now tell me before I lose the last of my patience: where is Black Nova?"

"What the he-" The pirate began, but he was unable to say anything more. The answer that was being given did not satisfy the Champion of Adai in the slightest, and so, she leapt forward with the energy that she had been secretly building up in her muscles and sent her enormous clawed fist straight into her opponent's gut, shattering all of his ribs in one go and sending him flying away, shooting like a bullet towards one of the few skyscrapers that still retained some of their former height and smashing right into it, causing most of the remaining structure to collapse miserably on top of him.

"Who else wants to try something funny? BECAUSE YOU'RE ALL GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME IF YOU DON'T TELL ME WHERE BLACK NOVA IS THIS INSTANT!" She shouted at all of the pirates hiding amongst the grey buildings, her powerful voice reverberating through the air and filling the entire city with her enraged shout. One by one, the pirates showed themselves, but said nothing. However, soon a voice came, a voice from above.

"Why should I tell you anything when you're going to die anyway?"

Looking up, Seriskira's ferocious smile returned.

Nelli tilted her head in confusion as she heard the utterances coming from the strange girl's mouth. They, naturally, meant absolutely nothing to her, and it was then that she realized one of the fatal mistakes she had made in coming to visit the mortal world unprepared, second only to not bringing sandals of course: she had neglected to wonder if perhaps the language they used would be any different from the tongue in which she spoke during the time she spent in the Hall of Descent and the immediacies of the Flowered Tree. In all honesty, she should have expected it, she should have planned for it, but in her excitement to flee from the land to which she had been confined during her whole life and explore this other world, she had forgotten about it. Really, it was a miracle that she'd had the foresight and planning to at least steal the shroud of darkness from her mother.

Noticing that the other girl now was looking nervously at her knife and pointing at it, Nelli looked from her black knife, to the girl, and back again. She suspected what was in the girl's mind, though she couldn't say for sure as she couldn't understand her, and she wished she could have assured her that she had no intention of using the weapon to harm them as long as they didn't attempt to harm her first, but unfortunately, she did not know how to say it in a manner that the girl would understand, as they spoke different tongues. Only one solution occured to her when faced with this dilemma.

Taking her knife, she pricked herself in the thumb with its tip, a tiny bit of blood pooling up in the hole. She then walked forward and pressed her thumb against the boy's forehead, assuming that, even though he had said nothing thus far, the two of them spoke the same tongue, as it was only logical that two people who lived in the same area and were apparently traveling together would understand each other. Entirely oblivious to the strange event that was having someone stain one's forehead with blood, Nelli then licked what blood remained off of her thumb, and closed her eyes afterwards, appearing as if she was in deep meditation for several moments. When she opened them again, she nodded to herself.

"My apologies. I did not anticipate that people from this world would speak in a different tongue than the people of mine, a dumb error now that I think about it." She stated in a neutral, quiet, vaguely dull voice. "As for your question, this is my tool, but I will not use it on you unless you give me a reason, if that is what you were concerned about." She continued, now addressing Cat, unaware that her words could be interpreted as a threat of sorts, even though everything she said, she said factually and with no intent other than to inform. "Oh, and I said 'hello' earlier, but evidently we could not understand each other back then, so it would not hurt to reiterate. Hello." She greeted them casually.

"More stuff to kill? Sounds like another dull errand. I do wonder if this old woman will one day give us something interesting to do." Garnet remarked before looking at Masami and patting her on the back. "Anyway, I'm happy to see that you did the right thing. Things that have a mind of their own sure can be scary, eh?" She flashed the Kitsune a grin, as if trying to make light of the tense situation that she had just gone through, before looking forward and raising the hand that bore the bracelet with the blue and orange gemstone, exerting its power and causing the gemstone to glow. After a moment, a blue portal appeared in front of them, a portal that led back to Tokyo. Garnet gestured towards it.

"So, let's get going. Your sister said she'd catch up with us soon." The blonde woman said before walking through.

Akihiko's smile disappeared instantly when he heard the cat begin talking, taken completely by surprise by this occurence. He, of course, was well aware of the supernatural world, not just because of the encounter with the Kitsunes and the Nekomata earlier, but also because of his very origin, and so, it did not confuse him too much that something such as a talking cat could exist... but what was it doing here? He had been told that they were meant to keep their distance from the human world, from the most part. By far the most unsettling part, though, was that he vaguely recognized the voice with which this cat spoke. Frowning, he continued listening, his eyes growing wider. Now he knew why the voice seemed familiar, and he wasn't happy with the implication at all, though at least she refrained from saying anything about what she had just seen.

The young man remained silent, not knowing what to say or how to retort, but the silence, either way, didn't last long, as soon Akihiko's mother rolled herself back into the room. She was empty-handed, but trailing behind her was a machine that was entirely capable of moving autonomously, with a fully articulate mechanical arm that at the moment seemed to be holding a small bowl of tuna, which it set next to the small cat.

"I hope this will suffice." The blonde woman in the wheelchair said. "Now then, care to tell us who you are?" She asked afterwards. There was now a smile on her face. "I have microphones all around the place, you know? After the last robbery attempt, Aki and I began turning this into what you could call a fortress. My sincere apologies if your intent was not to be discovered, but now I am quite curious." The woman stated calmly.

Suddenly a voice spoke into the room that Manifest, Valka, Otis and the others were in. It seemed not to speak physically, though, but into their minds.

"I will merely state that this is not quite what I had in mind when I said that we would meet each other again soon, Manifest." The voice of Hadrimmelis spoke, though she was careful enough not to call Manifest 'Charles' in the presence of others, knowing that he preferred to keep his name hidden.

After those words were spoken, a Serpent Hole opened right in the middle of the room, and out of the gateway to the Dragon Force Dimension stepped the Black Dragon herself in her human form, her golden circlet present on her head as always, her red cape and cloak billowing behind her as she walked into the room. She looked around out of habit, though merely by stepping into the room she already knew exactly who was present and why, along with the general situation, thanks to the passive aspect of her psionic power that constantly scanned the minds around her. She smiled.

"Do not think, however, that it is not good to see you again, even if the reason does not appear to be a very favorable one." She stated as she looked towards Manifest, before turning to Valka instead. "And it is good to see you again as well, Valka. It seems that war seems to follow wherever you go, but one has to see the light in the sky, regardless of the darkness surrounding us, no? I do hope that the young Valveig is doing well." She said and turned to Xander and Naja this time. "The Praetorian couple. You have my most sincere condolences; I cannot imagine that it must be very pleasant to have such a crisis appear so soon after your wedding and the establishment of your empire."

Lastly, she turned towards Otis. "I recognize your mental signature. You are Otis, correct? You were present at the wedding of Xander and Naja. You are also the one who killed Darkseid, apparently, which is no small feat. It is nice to see that we have someone powerful like you as an ally, even if you claim to have been utterly devastated by our common foe." She stated, being quite respectful even while mentioning the bad time that he had as a result of fighting against Yuga Khan. She then paused, before continuing. "I understand that you intend to pronounce only half of my name. If that is what results simpler for you, then by all means, go ahead." She nodded.

With all greetings and introductions finally over, she addressed the room as a whole. "Now then, this Yoga King that you all seem to be thinking about appears to be quite a threat. Is there any plan in the works here? I mean beyond attempting to overpower him with our combined might and using Builder technology if that fails, of course." The World-Dragon inquired as she continued to stand in the middle of the room.

Sarah simply giggled at John's attempt to please her and shook her head. "Oh, dear John, if we truly were to do whatever I wanted, you would be futilely attempting to crawl out of the bedroom before the day was over." She said, flashing her boyfriend a most charming, disarming smile and saying nothing more on the matter, simply allowing him to lead her to his limousine and then going inside with the rest of the group, content to note once more that it had grown with the addition of Hanah's new friend. Once inside the car, she simply snuggled close to John, holding his hand as she slowly drifted off to sleep, content to finally have the opportunity to rest a little after the frantic day that she had just ended with her vicious threat. The last thoughts she had before finally napping to recover some energy were of how nice it was to meet someone who was genuinely interested in her, not merely attracted to her due to how she looked. And she had to admit to herself that she was starting to feel the same way.

When they finally arrived at the steakhouse after a relatively short trip, Sarah woke up quite quickly, requiring minimal nudging maneuvers from John. She left and walked into the restaurant with the others, still holding onto John's arm as they moved towards their table. Sarah smiled when she noticed that there was quite a lot of meat on the menu. "Very thoughtful." She commented and superficially flipped through most of the menu just to make sure that there was nothing on it that she would not like her sisters to ingest, as she had been in charge of making sure that they ate well during most of their life, though it was only until her powers developed further that she actually had the chance to choose food that was nutritious and not whatever junk they could scavenge.

Moving on from those unpleasant thoughts about the past, she skipped straight to the desserts section and began ordering quite a few of them, as usual. With that done, she leaned onto John's shoulder, looking up at him. "Hey, if I fall asleep again, wake me up when they bring my food, alright? Otherwise, Hanah might eat it all." She joked, before closing her eyes. By this point she was not willing to pass up any chance to recover her energy, and restaurants didn't usually serve too quickly, especially when there were a lot of customers present, though she didn't expect them to take too long either. Regardless, though her eyes were closed, she was not quite asleep yet, still listening to what was happening around her.

The Silhouette of Adventure wrote:He watched Yuga Kahn divert the power of the Omega Beams in his fight with Otis. That... That's impossible..! Otis fled, and Manifest quickly followed the rapidly fading path of Otis' energy to Earth, more specifically Praetoria.

Julie frowned, sighing. She was surprised by the quickness of the tests. She expected more trials. She briefly wondered why she was joining this whole mad enterprise, but she supposed it made sense. It was why she was a Green Lantern, to end as much suffering as possible and save lives. If Manifest had a chance of doing it, she wasn't going to stand idly by. But it seemed like she wouldn't be taking part in the way she would have thought. Sending a green lantern to give a message was like taking a tank down to get groceries. He could always send one of his fragments or something to that effect. She wondered if this would become a trend. However, now was not the time to complain. She had something to do, and manifest was likely counting on her.

It didn't take her long to get to the league from the warp gate, and convincing them to come was also easy enough. Superman was on board without much reservation, Bat's and Wonder Woman were skeptical at first, Hal and John trusted Ju'lee, and the Flash seemed similarly accepting. She then telepathically contacted Manifest.

"Right, JL should be headed to Naja, and I told them to bring out the big guns." She telepathically spoke. "Anything else you want me to do? I got Tony on speedial, I can also see if Zaki and the other two are available. Shouldn't be too hard to find them, though the android might be tricky."

"Right..." She paused. "Hello to you too." Cat spoke, not sure what to make of the person in front of her. "Any particular reason why you've decided to say hello to us? I'm sorry, but I have no idea what planet you come from, but here when someone comes up to you brandishing a knife, speaking of how she'll use said blade on me if I give her a reason, oh and cutting herself and placing the blood on my brothers forehead before licking it off... Yeah none of that is really what one would consider normal, polite or sane." She remarked. Then tried to get her bearings, experiencing what was likely culture shock.

"KIll? I certainly hope we don't have to kill the spirit." She spoke. "The being may be corrupted, or just angry, or entirely malevolent. Either way this won't be the most simple of tasks. We don't want to jump the gun, lest we offend the spirit..." She then paused. "Thank you... I let myself become clouded from my goal. I allowed the blade to corrupt me and steal my mind. I... was weak." She spoke, sighing. "I am entirely unworthy of a friend as loyal and inteligent and..." She looked at Garnet. She wanted to say something. "Skilled. Skilled as you. My sincere apologies..."

"Of course. First some tuna." She spoke. Akari had a small bite of the tuna and then sat back up. "Mmmmmh. This is good stuff! Not the kind of stuff that comes out of a can... Thank you very much!" She spoke. "Anywho, enough stalling. I am Akari. A Nekomata." Akari replied. "I helped your son in saving those children, though I had a different form then. He seemed a tad grumpy, which got on my nerves. But I feel like I'm growing to like him. Especially if his mother is so nice... he must have inherited some of that niceness." She paused. Looking up at the mother. "As for my intent. I was merely curious as you are. I wondered what convinced Akihiko to stand up for those children, and I wondered what someone like that might be like at home."

She then began eating more tuna.

"Honestly, I could go for a nap myself right now. If I wasn't afraid of missing the food." Spoke Hanah. And she smiled at Roy. "Don't worry. I should be fine. This kind of things is pretty common for me." She spoke. resting her head on the table, still feeling a little under the weather. "Well, at least Disneyland wasn't boring..." She joked.

Nico
Nico watched cautiously as Nelli raised her knife and then suddenly made a small cut on her finger. He was startled when she suddenly stepped towards him and pressed her bloody finger against his forhead. He wanted to back away, but he was worried she might attack so he just stood there as she seemed to be in some kind of trance for a few minutes. Then he suddenly heard her speak and was shocked. "Wait, you can speak our language now?" He asked as he wiped the blood off of his forehead. "Well hi, my name is Nick and this is Cat. So are you with this Young Bloods team too?" He asked her, thinking she might be one of the people from this team, she certainly seemed strange enough to be.

Cora nodded to Katie's mental sign and was startled when she was thrown out of the window but was relieved when she heard her voice and knew she was okay. She then turned to Apocalypse and went after him at high speed, tackling outside the already broken window. She threw him toward the ground where he landed with gentle ease. He then raised his hands and sent huge blasts of blue energy Cora's way, which she returned in kind with her own yellow blasts. Cora had clearly become much stronger and was going toe to toe with the Egyptian villain. She wanted to make sure Katie was okay, but she needed to focus on her own fight and couldn't get distracted otherwise she'd put herself in danger.

Katie looked at Eric now, seeing that Cora could handle herself she turned to focus on her fight. She suddenly grabbed the wooden shotgun from her back, aiming it at Eric. She pulled the trigger, squeezing off a buckshot round accelerated by magic and electricity, with considerable force and energy behind it. It was suddenly stopped by the mutant, who simply held out his hand and the bullets froze in mid air as if suspended by wires. Magneto sent them back towards KatIe, but by then she had already disapeared, charging the leader of the brotherhood from the side. She slammed her shotgun into his face, which resisted the force with a magnetic shield. But was then exposed to a massive energy blast from the same shotgun, sending Magneto flying. He recovered in time to see Katie hurtling to him once more, magnetism lifting him up. He quickly bent a street lamp and reformed it into a sheild. it broke against Katies attack, but then he sent the pieces into her face to send her flying now. She quickly regained her footing and saw many more shards of metal coming towards her. She then sent out a burst of electrons, the negative charge leaving his delicate magnetic manipulation foiled. But Katie failed to take into acount the wrecking ball bound for her face. The Mutant grunted as it hit her with full force, her new god physilogy giving her the ability to resist injury, but it still hurt like hell.

Magneto did not let up, but Katie had a plan. She quickly used her electron form to outflank the mutant as he charged her, sifting through his physical form like water around a pole. She then reformed behind him and then aimed her shotgun at his back. Blasting the mutant backwards, magnetic shield and all. He grunted as he was sent flying, before he managed to get his balance and magnetically hover himself back up. Then he unleashed a wave of charged particles and Katie responded with her own, both the same charge, they repelled one another, so the beams would resist one another. Locked in a deadly game of tug and war.

Magneto and Katie pushed back and forth for a bit, but then Katie released a ball of particles of the reverse charge which pulled the beams towards it. Magneto was about to adjust when suddenly Katie closed the distanced and smacked him over the head with the shotgun, sending him reeling.

The master of magnetism stood, clicking his jaw and rubbing his head. He had underestimated the electric mutant, and it seemed she had potential still untapped. If she did fall into the hands of enemies then that would be problematic indeed. All the more reason to fight.

Magneto sent out a ripple of force which sent Katie flying, and then followed that up by slamming a magnetically charged fist into her abdomen, causing her to keel over. "This is why you need to come with us. You have great power, but it is so raw and unrefined. You seem intent on doing things your own half assed way, and that might have been acceptable before, but you are much more now. Your power could be used to wipe us out if it fell into the wrong hands." He grabbed a metal ball. "So again. Death or submission?"

Suddenly Magneto found himself the target of a facefirst blast of electrons. He groaned as he saw Katie, holding her wooden shotgun. She blasted him again, but this time he managed to dodge out of the way. He looked at her. "I told you. Not going to happen." She spoke. "I don't need anything from you or you group." She spoke. "If I am truly as powerful as you say now, I can't afford to attach myself to an ideology. Least of all one that promotes Genocide!"

Magneto gnashed his teeth and suddenly tightened an electromagnetic metal noose around Katie's neck, causing her to be lifted into the air and cut off her air. He was the visage of rage. "You don't have any idea what that word means! You band it about without any thought of what a genocide looks like. I'll tell you! It's-" He caught himself, then tightened the noose. "Fine. You have chosen annihilation, not I. I have been more than forgiving and patient with you. Now I must prevent you from being used against our race. I am sorry."

Rin Tarla

"Part of my powers? No, no, I am blushing" I giggled a bit uncomfortably and before I knew it I began rambling "Blushing is the reddening of a person's face due to psychological reasons. It is normally involuntary and triggered by emotional stress, such as that associated with embarrassment, anger, or romantic stimulation. Severe blushing is common in people who suffer social anxiety in which the person experiences extreme and persistent anxiety in social and performance situations." I breathed a bit heavily, bordering hyperventilating before I started to calm down again. "Sorry, I'm rambling, rambling stuff like I'm a science book, I'm not even sure how I managed to get so much in detail I'm not an expert on bodily functions."

"Sorry for the poking, you're nothing like anyone or thing I've ever seen or heard. You're a question mark to me and that's intriguing." I smiled awkwardly but some sincerity could be seen in there.

"It's okay... I think I understand. You do it because you're embarrassed. When I'm embarrassed I sometimes shrink." She replied, now smiling a little, and then she was surprised by her next point. Someone was intrigued by her? "Really? Most people are scared of me or freaked out... Not many of them are... well... intrigued or interested. I guess apart from you guys at the young bloods..." She paused. "It can be lonely being different..." She spoke.

"I think you're also... interesting to me." She spoke. "I don't know much about you. But I know you can do things with sound."

"Yes, sounds, vibrations, I can do a lot with it. Most of the things I do are automatic though, can't turn it off or on. For example I got a permanent sound barrier around me protecting me. I can't turn that off nor make it stronger. Every bit of sound from an amazing distance reaches me whether I want it to or not. It's kind off a drag, feels like my head is exploding sometimes." I smiled a bit, I was getting relaxed again, which was a good thing because who knew what I would've begun to ramble about if this continued. "You kind off have sound powers to. Not in the way I have but whatever you're made off it absorbs sound and sends it back out amplified. It's on such a low scale that unless you're me, it's inaudible though."

Hmm, maybe whatever she's made off can help me with sound related things. Would it be weird to ask what she's made off so I can try to use that substance for sound experiments? Hug her first before asking? "Erm, not sure if this is appropriate to ask, but what kind of jelly are you? Because I'm really curious at its sound related properties. I hope that didn't sound creepy. Hug?"

Hiroshi:

When the weird guy from earlier reappeared, Hiroshi hadn't acted, not exactly considering the man a threat, that, and being too confused in the happenings to act out.

"Finally."

The burst of light seconds later was overwhelming. It was like the world around him disappeared, replaced by a hellish cocktail of light and pure noise. The fabric of his dogi burst into flames as he tumbled helplessly through space. Raising his arms, he felt the first shockwave impact his guard, muscle sizzling in the wake of the power, Hiroshi grimacing as home was revealed on his forearms. The edge of his hair caught fire as he felt his arms trembling, struggling to keep his guard up.

Showing his first signs of resistance, Hiroshi propelled himself out of the scalding beam, rolling in a heap, disoriented and confused. As it stood, the Saiyan-Kaioshin knew two things. One, he was exhausted. This day had been nothing but back to back fights, first between him and several denizens of Hell, then with Oniyo and Demigra. Now, he was fighting this thing. Secondly, whoever this was, was beyond his power output, but that couldn't stop him.

'Well, got yourself in quite the pickle. As things are, you need a plan. Maybe you can pair up with Arctico and try and defeat him as a pair, or you or him can charge up a powerful attack and try to hit him head on, either way you need to take a moment and consider-'

" I have a plan." Hiroshi spoke aloud gruffly. " Attack."

With those words, the Halfling narrowed his eyes, an aura exploding around his frame as he blitzed Alstair. Already attempting to calculate the demons avenues of attack, Hiroshi focused directly on the mans energy instead of whatever afterimage he may have left behind, putting his training to the test for the first time. Throwing his fist out in a golden blur, he attempted to backhand the bastard away, before pirouetting through the air, throwing the full might of his left hand into the mans face.

"Why should I tell you anything when you're going to die anyway?" The voice from above said, a strange, vaguely mechanical-sounding voice, and as she looked up, the Champion of Adai was greeted by a sight that she did not expect. When she had been told by Glast that the mighty Captain Black Nova was to him as a god was to an ant, she had been expecting something different. A titan so great and powerful that it could destroy entire worlds, or perhaps a warrior whose sole presence was able to make her instincts go haywire. Something imposing. Someone all-powerful. But this... this was fine too. Seriskira did not fail to be impressed, if only because a foe rumored to be so powerful had surprised her like that. Surprises were always nice every once in a while, as they were a source of thrill, and, in any case, she smiled viciously because, despite everything, there was no doubt that Black Nova was now before her.

"Come down here so I can beat you up better! What did you think you were doing, sending your sorry troops to my planet when the only thing they were useful for was to pick my teeth with their bones!" She said. Her legs were already flexed slightly, and her muscles were building up all the energy they could without tearing themselves apart in anticipation of the fight that was yet to come. She did not know how powerful this new enemy was, but if anything of what she heard was true, then it would be a most thrilling and challenging fight. She found that possibility quite exciting.

Black Nova yawned. "Your planet? Please, you put too much value on your pathetic rock. I don't even have an idea of where you might have come from." She stated nonchalantly, crossing her arms before her as she stared despectively at the Hadrian from beneath the red visor. "My lieutenants handle the small jobs on my behalf, silly lizard. There are more important things for me to do, I can't concern myself with some backwater planet nobody has even heard about." She continued, shrugging her shoulders. However, none of these comments wiped the grin from the Hadrian's face.

"You talk too much, pirate. Aren't you going to come down and play? You don't want to make me go up there instead." Seriskira warned. Black Nova hmphed and sent a spherical blast of energy shooting straight towards the Hadrian warrior. She, however, didn't even bother moving, simply standing still. When the blast was close enough, Seriskira's tail shot forward, going around her waist and smacking the energy projectile away from her, sending it into a nearby building instead. The building was leveled completely, and many of the pirates in there either died or were badly injured, but neither the Champion of Adai nor the Captain of the Sunstorm Pirates seemed too terribly concerned with their lives. Annoyed by Seriskira's persistence, Black Nova decided to fire a beam of energy at the Hadrian instead, blasting her with a huge beam of energy that she kept up for about a minute before letting up the attack. However, when the light from the energy beam faded, she saw that the huntress was still there, holding up one of her claws, which now sported scorch marks on it, but little damage aside from that.

"Is that it? That tickled!" She teased with a chuckle and then, finally, she jumped high into the sky, her black wings unfurling and beating in order to further boost her speed as she raced towards Black Nova. "My turn!" She shouted, before sending her massive clawed fist crashing against the pirate lady. However, this time, it was the captain's turn to display her indifference, and so, she simply threw up an energy shield in order to block the powerful fist that was coming towards her, all while staring at the Hadrian with what one could call a bored expression, though it was, evidently, partially obscured by the red visor on her face. Once Seriskira's muscles had depleted the built-up energy, Black Nova dissipated the shield and then threw a punch that struck her enemy squarely in the face, sending her shooting down towards the ground with such force that the impact left a huge crater in the earth, kicking up an enormous cloud of dust and blinding everyone nearby.

As the dust settled, Seriskira was seen standing, looking at the sky, blood obscuring the left side of her face as it ran down from her wounds.

She was grinning madly. "This will be fun."

Once Cat was done speaking, Nelli raised her hand as if to object. "Allow me to correct you, I was not brandishing my ritual knife, I was merely holding it. She stated, not seeming angry or indignated or anything of the sort, merely trying to clarify what she deemed a misunderstanding. Thinking that the matter was settled, she continued. "I do not know what a planet is, but the place I come from is called the Hall of Descent. You probably have not heard about it. It does not belong in this world. And what I meant when I said that I would not use my knife unless I was given a reason - something that you have, by the way, misconstrued - was that I would, for the most part, refrain from using it in self defense. As you do not seem like you have any intention of attacking me, there is no reason for you to be concerned about it." She explained patiently.

Afterwards, she turned towards Nico, listening to him as well, content with the fact that he seemed far less unnecessarily suspicious of her than Cat was. Upon hearing the name of the superhero team that was based on that enormous Y-shaped tower, however, she started giggling, something strange going off of the relatively serious demeanor she had displayed earlier. After calming down, she shook her head. "No, I am not one of them, though I came here to find out more about them. The people of this city seem to revere them, and a spirit told me to come here, so here I am." She told the boy. "And yes, I can speak your language now. That is what the blood was for. A magic ritual to grant me that ability."

Akihiko said, still not entirely pleased with how the Nekomata had treated him earlier, though even then his tone was only slightly annoyed, and decidedly less aggressive than it had been before.

"Quiet, Akihiko. You're being rude to our guest." Akihiko's mother admonished him, making him fall silent immediately and then turn away in embarrassment. She then turned back to Akari, her affable smile still on her face. "My son can certainly be grumpy at times, but I assure you he has a good heart. If that is because of my genes or his own convictions, I could not possibly tell." She stated. Akihiko made a grunt as if to object to the first comment, but said nothing. "Regardless, it is nice to meet you, Akari. My name is Alice. Not the name you would have expected from Aki's mother, I suppose?" She chuckled. "I came to Japan as a scientist, but as you can see, I am retired now." She explained.

At that point, Akihiko finally bothered to chime in again, looking around with mild confusion. "Say, did you come here alone? Where are the others?" She asked Akari. Hearing the word 'others', his mother looked at him with a raised eyebrow, and he was quick to clarify. "Oh, there were others besides Akari and me. There was a Kitsune, a blonde woman and some sort of fox-monster." He explained. She seemed thoughtful, but merely nodded and said nothing at all. Akihiko turned back to Akari. "Did they leave you behind, or...?"

Grimms
John couldn't help but smile at Sarah's very forward statement about her plans for tomorrow. "Well, how could I say no to that?" He grinned to her before kissing her on the lips as they walked toward the Limo.

Once they were at the restaurant he grinned as Sarah ordered a bunch of dessert. He ordered a steak and a soup as he wrapped his arm around his sleeping girlfriend. She was tired quite oftem, John wondered if that was a side effect of her powers.

Sam nudged Hannah when the waitress came over to hee. "Come on Hannah, you have to order." The middle sister prodded as she ordered her own salad. Roy ordered a rack of ribs for himself as he looked over at Hannah with a bit of concern, hoping that she was okay and wishing that he could make her feel better.

She grabbed a hoodie from the side of the road and put it on and started walking. "This way. I have both their scents. We'll meet them and then see what this clue is." Spoke the Kitsune as she walked through the crowd, the hoodie covering her ears from view. Her tails were no longer activated. The truth was she was afraid of failing Garnet again, someone she had come to greatly respect and admire throughout their adventures.

"Well, I'm very grateful to hear that you have a positive opinion of me. It would have been nice if you had decided that you liked me before you decided to smack me in the head with my own scabbard, but I suppose I'm grateful nonetheless." Akihiko said, still not entirely pleased with how the Nekomata had treated him earlier, though even then his tone was only slightly annoyed, and decidedly less aggressive than it had been before.

"Masami was never as good at stealth as me. I'm not sure about the other two, so I decided to come alone. The others went off to Azami to drop off the sword. Though I am worried about Masami... The sword seemed to have quite the effect on her and you. Although I'm no stranger to dark magic, so I was relatively unaffected." She spoke. "Masami can sniff me out if necessary, so I told them I would go off on my own." She proceeded to finish off the Tuna. "Speaking of the scabbard I hit you with... that sword is very interesting." She remarked. "Could you tell me anything about it?"

Hug?"

Xyri paused. "Well... The scientist said I was made of something called primordial Ooze... Or Primordial Jelly. It's very rare from what I've heard, but I grow bigger by turning other things into more of me." She explained. "I'd rather not get experimented on... though I could always fine a way to absorb something and then regurgitate a bit for you or something." She explained. "As for the hug... Of course!" The nine foot Xyrixma completely encircled Rin in a warm and gentle embrace. Of course the situation was a little pecarious, because now Rin my be able to leave the hug completely dry, but if the warmth went on for too long, the Xyrixma could start to secrete liquidy slime.

Hanah got up with almost frightening speed, the prospect of food seeming to have given her an almost unholy burst of energy as she smiled. Then she fired off a bunch of orders. "I would like the steak, the lamb, the pork.... oh and some of your fish items would be nice too. And that will be for starters." She remarked. Then smiled at the rest. "What? Girl's got to eat after turning into a dragon." She smiled to the waiter as she passed her menu.

"You're serious?"

"Quite serious." Spoke the little teenager, nodding. "Especially the dragon part..."
