The Starlight wrote:Craig was about to fly up and have his Orb scan the entire planet when he received multiple alerts from various satellites and the Internet that a massive ship had just landed outside of New York City. Using his psionic link with his armor, Craig sip united up, and informed Etla and Ihra, inviting them to join him.

When he arrived, several heroes were already on the scene but he figured with such a large ship, the more, the better. After his orb, absorbed within his armor had told him it was of Kree origin, Craig accessing the Internet and various databases of Earth to learn everything he could of the Kree while he helped lift debris off Kree soldiers.

With his 100% brain capacity Craig was very skilled at multitasking, as he did here. He was simultaneously helping the rescue mission, listening to his AI inform him of the Kree and having his Orb examine the interior tech of the ship, it being downloaded into his brain for further study at a later time.

The Quinjet arrived at the crash site, and Manifest parachuted down beside Craig. "Thomsen, right? I'm with SHIELD. What're we dealing with here?" He summoned a rather oversized set of what appeared to be boxing gloves, which he used to assist moving debris and Kree, despite apparently being just a human. "The habit of aliens to crash land in New York gets less appealing every month." He remarked. Above them, the Quinjet turned and automatically landed nearby, locking to any non-SWORD signature.

Empire of the Siberian Flaming Eskimos wrote:Del: I am a former robot of Hydra. Valancy Stirling identified. Threat assessment: Kill on sight. BEEP BOOP.

Valance raised an eyebrow at Del's assessment of her, both impressed and unsettled that HYDRA had a file on her. When hearing of her powers and abilities, she looked up with a small grin. "Damn right I am."

She frowned as the woman actually got shot, that wasn't the plan. Stepping out from behind the tree, she waved to them, putting a shield of wood thick enough to block bullets around the woman, the bullets aimed at her pinging off her wooden exoskeleton. "Now normally," she began, "I wouldn't do this but you're HYDRA and you just hurt several civilians. Plus I learned that you have a file on me. So, say hello to my big friend, " she said, stepping to the side to let the agents see a huge mama bear charging at them with eyes promising severe pain, the bear garbed with another wooden exoskeleton. Needless to say, none of them got away, and after Valancy had ridden them of their weapons, she called SHIELD to cleanup and take them into custody. Disengaging the wooden shield, she helped the woman up. "There we go," she said. "You know my name, but what's yours?" She asked. "Call me Val."

"I'm actually SWORD, as you've probably figured by now. At any rate, want me to radio home base and see if they have anything?" He grunts as he tries to lift a particularly large piece, before pulling back his arms and dispelling the gloves. He quickly summoned a modified version of SHIELD's Cape Killer armor they had developed during the Civil War. Putting the gloves on over it, he easily lifted the debris, as well as dispelled his helmet. "Oh, and somehow I doubt Brand would like knowing you go around telling people about SWORD. We aren't exactly public, eh?" He shrugged.

"I'm with our smart guy here. You guys are like... One of the most powerful empires out there. What did this?" She asked.

"Where is the Terran representative?" Ronan asked.

"We have a representative?"

"Yes. The Nova. His name I believe is Jamal." Ronan said slightly annoyed with the fact that Naja seemed oblivious to what he was talking about. How this planet housed a Kryptonian and several gods, yet knew so little of galactic affairs was beyond him. Perhaps it was for the best. "He is the only Nova left of the Corp. He is also the only one on this planet who would understand what I am talking about. Bring him to me."

"Okay. First off. You're being a rude guest. Second of all. I have no idea what a Nova looks like, or what Jamal looks like-"

She was interrupted by Xander. "Novas? Think really big bees. Yellow and black. They have a bucket on their heads. You'll know it by the big red star on the forehead. Usually blast with yellow or blue energy. They are... Excuse me, were. Pretty much space cops. They don't exist anymore and the Lanterns are pulling double duty. They got fucked up by a tyrannical superbug from another dimension. That is, if my magic isn't inaccurate. Which, it rarely is." He said reattaching a Kree's arms. "Hold still... I've put my own arms back on before... If I can do it... Start Talking Ronan. I do my homework."

"Enough. While you are more informed of events that have transpired in the past years than I previously believed. You are not the representative of this world."

"Naja, you're right. He is being rude. But we should be good hosts and find him who he's looking for so we can unfuck another situation as we always have to."

"Are you mocking me, human?"

"Nah. If I was making fun of you. I would have given you a real bad case of the runs. I'm a fan of insult to injury." He said and turned to the other magic user. A young one. "Not really. Healing spells are relatively basic. If you lack the energy, they can be. But this isn't exactly a healing spell. This many injured, it's actually much more efficient to use a time spell. I reset their physical bodies to moments before they sustained the damage. Some of it is too severe for standard healing spells. It would take too much time." He explained. "It's rare to run into another sorcerer that isn't Fate or Strange."

"Hmm…that explains it." Simon said, nodding. It was actually rather intelligent, and he was kind of embarrassed that he hadn't thought of that.

That's cause you're just a stupid little bitch, Simon, Blackburn hissed in the back of Simon's mind. Simon, ignoring him, turned with a smile to Alex. "I know. I've trained with a great deal of sorcerers, but eventually they all just pointed me to those two. I guess it's a good sign for them, being that good"

"Anyway," he continued, floating to rest on the ground, "I suppose I can help out." And with that, Simon raised a hand. The wreckage of the Kree ship floated upward, as did all the Kree, who were gently deposited on the ground, as Alex's spell continued to hea them. From their own positions moving the wreckage, the powerhouses glowered at him, particularly Superman.

"Dammit." Aaron hissed, and Superman shot him a glance.

"What? I hate being superfluous." Aaron said, and Supes grinned. "I like your attitude, kid. You should sign on with the JLA later, huh? And what'd you say your name was?"

"You really think so? Wow, thanks! And, it's, uh, it's…Aaron." he said, sounding lame.

Meanwhile, Simon was surveying the floating Kree ship, which he was suspending in the air. When suddenly, the malevolent voice of his grandfather hissed in his mind.

DON'T YOU IGNORE ME, CHILD. RESPECT YOUR ELDERS.

Simon bent at the waist, his eyes suddenly turning black. "Goddamnit!" he shouted, falling to the ground and clutching his head. "Ohh…god motherfucking dammit…"

And above, the ship began to wobble in midair…

For a split second, a loud and rumbling boom rang out, as though a space shuttle had taken off. A yellow streak descended down from the sky and stopped midair. "Yo, Ronan, I got your signal." Jamal said as he floated down and landed in front of the Accuser. "Sorry I'm late, I came as fast as I could. Worldmind just barely picked up your signal. I dunno what the hell's going on, but all of a sudden I started getting thousands more distress calls than I've been getting for the past few months. The Shi'ar, the Badoon, even the damn Skrulls -- and they never ask for outside help." Jamal said, approaching Ronan. "I'm guessing it's connected to why you've ended up here on Earth, though."

"I've grow quite fond of the arcane arts. I've run into many situations were they are more useful than my previous skill set. Like that time I made the entire planet think Naja killed those loons. Remember that Naja?"

"You even had me scared a bit there. If I didn't know what was happening, I would have believed it." She said and listened as Jamal rattled off most major races in the area. And they asking for help was extremely rare among them. "So. Whatever this is, it's big."

"It is indeed." He said and looked towards Jamal. "We are in desperate times. The Builders have decided that no life in the universe is worth keeping alive. So they are wiping out everything. I mean everything. They are slaughtering everything in their path."

"The Builders? Jesus. Things suddenly make a bit more sense. The ride never ends. Can't even get off of mind control for 5 minutes without the universe going extinct. AGAIN." He mutters half to himself and half to whoever bothered to listen. "Alright. Well. We are obviously going to have to go to space. I could use some time off Earth."

"It will not make a difference you should stay- We would be grateful for your help." His tone suddenly changed, welcoming their help. Xander looked to see a Hispanic man floating and walking through the ship. None other than the telepath, Hernan Sanchez.

"We will be more than happy to assist you in this conflict." Hernan said. There was a number of reasons for his bothering to assist. NAmely the fact that he was not going to be driven to extinction without a tooth and nail fight. That, and he had an opportunity to leave Earth and finally go meet the Skrulls. Not something he was just going to let go to waste. "I believe the man Craig Thomsen can repair your ship. He is one of the foremost me on this planet when it comes to technology. It is like he can speak to it."

Charmera wrote:“Well, I haven’t had anyone to hug yet. Most people seem to run away when they see me or give me strange looks. Even when I’m not big” She remarked. “That makes sense. I don’t think about my own death much so I have little reason to actively seek them out.” She paused. “But… it’s nice. I like that it makes other people happy and not… want to throw fire at me.” She shuddered. “I don’t like fire…” She commented.

"Really?" Jamal said, cocking his head slightly. "You don't seem scary at all. Well, when it comes to your giant sized body, I could understand others being threatened, but a smaller size really isn't a big deal. I'd think that a person with a gelatinous texture would actually seem less threatening. I could see you being especially popular with kids." Jamal chuckled when she mentioned that she didn't like fire. "Yeah, I think that's a common sentiment.

"[Jamal. I hate to interrupt, but I have located another Rantu.]"

"Rantu?" Jamal asked

"[Yes. That is the name of the race of beings you came here to combat. Remember?]"

"Y-yeah. Where are they?"

"[The city known as Gotham.]"

"...Gotham? That's... odd. Alright then, let's go confront them." Jamal turned his attention back to Xyri. "Well, I gotta go deal with some Nova stuff. I had fun talking with you." Jamal floated off of the roof and waved. "See ya around." With that, he shot off to Gotham

"Seriously...? The Builders?" Jamal said in disbelief. "To be honest, I'd always hoped that they'd just been a myth -- a fairy tale that some races believed in in an attempt to explain the reason for their existence. Then again, it all makes sense. A race that old would definitely be powerful enough to do this type of damage."

When Ronan began protesting the offer that Earth provide assistance by stating they wouldn't make a difference, that bothered Jamal even more. He had never seen Ronan so broken before. It bothered him even more than when he was under the control of the Phalanx. At least then Jamal knew that his free will was simply taken away. Here, he entirely had the option to fight back, and he chose not.

But then he appeared to change his mind mid-sentence. Another individual made himself known, and from the way he was speaking, Jamal concluded that he was a telepath and had influenced Ronan. While he disagreed with his friend being used like that, he also didn't agree with Ronan simply giving up. "What about the Galactic Council?" Jamal asked Ronan.

Meanwhile she had something else to do. After getting back into her armor, she starts moving across the city, planning to scout some areas in hope to find leads or information she can use. She'll get to the area first, and then decide what to do from there.

What the hell? The scout-Madrox narrowed his eyes as he turned a third corner, only to see that the strange albino was still trailing him. Alright. Doesn't match any of the Boss' descriptions, but it's definitely someone. He walked into the store and doubled back, watching the entrance. Seeing that he wasn't followed into the store, he left it, just in time to see the albino get into a suit of armor and begin a patrol. Bloody knew it. He got out his cell phone.
"Hey, me? Yeah, We've got a sighting. Don't know their name, but they tried to tail me- Badly. What do I say to do?"
"I should follow." The main him replied, thinking. "Get a picture for the Boss."
"Got it." The scout-Multiple Man cancelled the call, and began sneaking (with far more effectiveness than Vera did) and trying to take some pictures of his former follower.

After a brief pause, Manifest smiled broadly. "Thomsen, any chance you could get me the schematics for all those weapons, and any you add? I'm a living army when well rested, and a damn fine soldier when not." He dispelled his armor (and the oversized gloves) with a hand wave. Suddenly, his communicator began beeping. "Oh hell, forgot I had this thing." He mused, then tapped it, activating it.
I've been listening to everything, Manifest. Let Thomsen know we appreciate it, and he's welcome on the Peak any time- Honorary member status. Not like we could stop him if we tried. At any rate, congratulations, you just broke a record. Your first day hasn't even ended yet, and the entire Universe is about to die. The Builders are an Omega level threat- We've got distress signals from Kree, from Skrulls, I think I even detected some god damn Tamaranian signals. Until this threat has ended, SWORD is taking martial control of all UN based defences, under SHIELD charter who the fuck knows. You've been transferred directly to Thomsen's command, despite the fact that he isn't actually a member of SWORD. Now get out there and kill them all.
"Affirmative." Manifest tapped the button again. "I just got confirmation someone called the "Tamaranians" are sending out distress signals. Assuming that's bad? At any rate, my organization is taking martial control of the entire military might of Earth, obviously acting with SHIELD's name, under SHIELD's UN charter. "Alright then, a steak with fries it is." Gilbert nodded. He gestured for the waiter to come over, which he did rather nervously, though the young man simply ignored it and ordered Aru's dish, along with a hamburger for himself, as saving the universe and then reconstructing the world had been rather tiring for him; he suspected he might've tapped his stomach for some extra energy while doing that, but he couldn't say for sure. At least he hadn't messed up his body in an attempt to fix everything else.

Turning back to Aru once the waiter was gone, he smiled at her comment about saving the world twice. "Technically, I didn't deal the killing blow either time." He pointed out, reminding the blue woman of the role she had played in the destruction of both the cosmic arsonist and the Time Demon, though he couldn't help but feel like something was amiss about that former enemy. However, he decided not to think about it.

"Memories, you say?" He asked. Now that was a bit of a touchy topic, if only because he had no idea what the hell he was supposed to say. "Well... my actual life began more or less when I got to Gotham. I think I had been actually here since earlier, but the point where the false memories stopped was... traumatic, so, the part between then and the moment I got here is just... noise." He explained. "But I'm getting sidetracked with gloomy stuff. You ask for any memories I like? Well, there's not much to pick from, but I don't want to sound cliché, so... You know Batman? I got to visit his cave once. That was pretty cool." He smiled, a bit sheepishly, aware that the story was a bit childish.

“Batman? He’s a member of the Justice league, so yes.” She asked, “I know of him to an extent. I did have the privilege of meeting Wonder Woman once, who I have to say I quite respect.” She smiled. “Getting that close to Batman though, that’s quite impressive. Did you get to meet him? What was he like?” She asked.

When their food came, Aru did not use her knife and fork. After all Rantu ate all their food with their hands. She picked up the steak and began taking chucks out of it, like it was a burger. That drew some odd looks, but no one was willing to call her out on it. She looked up at Gilbert. “So, did your powers change when you came back Chrono?” She asked.

Aru frowned in the middle of a bite. She got up and looked at a part of her suit. “Huh…” She muttered. There was a strong energy signal coming towards them. She tracked it’s trajectory and it seemed to be making a bee line to her. “We… may have some company soon.” She remarked. She stood up, turning to face the door, expecting someone to come through there. Her mind ready to bring out her plasma cannons.

Jake, being eleven, stuck his tongue out at Mars as soon as he was reasonably sure that Elena wasn't looking at him. Then, with another leap, he propelled himself to the railing, landing near Kiris. He leaned over to her, whispering "Ten bucks says that when Xyri knocks Mars down, the stick up his butt'll come outta his mouth."

Then, Jake leaned against the railing, his thoughts boiling. How could Mars act so superior, he wondered, when he just…just used Optimus freaking Prime! That was his only power! The stupid idiot.

Xyri peered down at all the people down below. She frowned slightly. Then mounted the railings. She had fallen before, and it had never hurt her. Most of the time she merely changed her body so she would simply bounce from the force, and even if she didn’t he body couldn’t be hurt by something as measly as a fall. She supposed doing that now would defeat the point of the exercise, something about trust? She had no idea. Though while she was musing she lost her balance and then immediately fell, further from Mars’ arms than was planned. Her eyes widened as she did so, hurtling towards the ground.

Where two archons bond together and work in perfect harmony. But the fusion had been imperfect. It had been unstable, and nearly led to some bad things. She looked up as Ember adress her, blinking slightly and then she sighed. "I... I'm Tina." She then paused. "I know who you are. You don't remember, but we met before." She explained. She wasn't too sure when, but they had. Then she smiled. "And yes. Moving in would be a good idea... us being close together, as potentially destructive as it sounds, will be for the greater good.... Ember

She knows me? And she wants to try something again sometime? Looks like I made another weird buddy. "Erm, sure, I" A moments pause occurred and a smile became visible. Of course this person knows who I am, I'm obviously famous by now. "Ooh, you must be a fan to know who I am. You'll have so much fun living around my volcanoes, Aqua lives there to, she likes water. I always preferred fire, but to each their own. Oh also, that person over there" I pointed at Azure "is my adopted son Azure, I'd ask him to say hi to you but he's in a kinda grumpy mood since I made him clean up his room. In any case follow me to your new home, my island, the Ember isles, with the volcano Ember at the Ember sea. I'm Ember by the way."

And just like that I took off heading towards the Ember isles, never stopping to talk really, regardless of checking if she could be heard or not. "By the by,what do you mean with do that again? Or are you talking about watching me? Because I can understand if people want to see more of me, which makes you really lucky because you'll be living close to me. I'm so jealous of you, you can actually watch me, I actually have to be me, and when you're you then it's hard to admire yourself without seeming vain, and I am not vain, just massively important and better than everyone."

Tine cocked her head. “Fan? I said I met you before…” She remarked. Then shook her head. “It’s not… like that… It’s like I recognise you from another life. One I can barely remember.” She commented. Frowning. She had never had trouble remembering something before. She could recall things in exact clarity. She knew how many clouds were in the sky when she was born, she remembered every earthquake since and she could even remember the position of the sun exactly when she met xephy. But she couldn’t remember anything about when she met Ember. “Never mind, not important.” She remarked.

Kirisvala frowned ever so slightly, more disappointed than upset, looking at Rocket. "That's not what I meant, either..."

Kirisvala was quite happy that his new friends had formed a group, quite happy that Mars had decided to stay with them, and quite happy that Elena had found them a place to stay at so quickly. The point was that she was rather pleased with how these past few days had turned out. No longer she was the odd one out, shunned because of her refusal to conjure nefarious plots against the laws of her world and berated because she didn't want to use her magical gift for the gain of her family. No, she was no longer the odd one out here. Here, she felt right at home, something she had never felt in Hadrimmelis except while out playing with the monsters of the wild, so often misunderstood. She felt kinship with them, and something similar happened here, with everyone around her, her new friends. Among them, she was happy.

So, it was no surprise that she wore a radiant smile when she arrived at the second floor. The metal armor was gone completely, stowed away in whatever place the pinkish-haired girl had claimed as her abode. Instead, she wore what at first glance appeared to be a frilly black dress, though with some key differences that set it apart from usual Earth clothing. For starters, the piece was sleeveless, which was not entirely strange by itself until one noticed that the cloth did not connect on the shoulders, but rather was tied up over them, clearly a measure to circumvent the obviously troublesome claws of the Hadrian species while still keeping them covered. It seemed simple enough, but many centuries had been required for them to figure out how to dress. The dress reached her knees, and there was a hole in it through which her bony tail poked out, spinning rapidly in the air even as it followed her as she walked, further betraying her apparent bliss, as if her graceful smile weren't enough. The dress also had silvery markings in the Hadrian language, which ammounted to a few blessings from the Dragon Deity. Needless to say, the young Hadrian was quite fond of this dress.

Once she was in the second floor, she had patiently waited for her turn to speak, and once it came, she did so with little inhibition. She told them her full name, Kirisvala Az Ranwynn, and explained to them what it meant, 'Little Flame of the Sage Clan'. She went on to tell them about what Hadrians could usually do, and about all the spellsongs she could use at the moment, expressing her hopes that she would learn more in time, though it was unlikely for her to be able to learn more for the time being, as she was separated from her family and had little intention of going back (she was uncharacteristically vague on that point). Of all of these things she had spoken with much naturality, smiling all the while before finally falling silent when someone else's turn came along, with her listening quietly to everyone, a bit disappointed that Mars didn't speak a lot, but understanding that he needed time to get used to them.

"This sounds fun!" She said with quiet excitement after listening to the trust exercise that Elena had set up for them. It sounded like an entertaining way for the group to show each other that they could be trusted, something that Kirisvala naturally had complete faith in. After all, why would they not trust each other? They had helped each other kick some Rantu butts the other day, after all. Hell, she herself had already shown just how much she trusted her new friends, having kept her eyes closed the whole time as she sang her Hymn of Valor to empower her newfound allies, making sure that they would have the strength to fight off the invaders and simply hoping that they would keep her safe. She'd had a few close calls that day and she still didn't stop. If that wasn't trust, then someone needed to tell her what was.

Either way, the magician girl simply stood off to the side as she watched, waiting for her turn to jump down, slightly disappointed that she had to wait. She frowned ever so slightly when Mars expressed that he didn't want to participate in the exercise when it sounded like such a fun thing to do, and was about to try to see if she could convince him to change his mind, when suddenly Jake shouted at him and then jumped off of the building, towards the mattress. She gasped in shock, not exactly worried about him as she was by now well aware of his abilities as a Kryptonian, but still surprised by the rashness of his action. Now, the Hadrian singer was pleasantly surprised when Mars did jump off to catch him in mid-air, but the fight that came afterwards didn't please her. She was a little sad that they fought, believing that such things didn't help the group as a whole.

Her smile having faded slightly, Kirisvala simply watched on as Elena broke the fight and caused the exercise to resume. She looked at Jake in confusion as he made a strange remark about Mars. "...Bucks? Stick? What?" She replied confusedly before looking back at the people below. "Don't say mean stuff, he needs to warm up to us..." She added quietly, watching as Xyri fell to the ground in a less than voluntary manner, though it hardly changed the exercise. Truth be told, she was a little disappointed. She'd have liked to be the one to jump down and be caught by Mars, though she didn't really know why.

Hearing the voice of the fox demon speaking to him, Akihiko turned towards the creature, eyeing him warily. He was fairly reluctant to completely trust these people, even though he had to admit that they did free him, and the animosity that he could feel coming from Taro didn't help matters at all. Plus, he looked like some sort of creepy fox demon, as his mind was fond of remarking at every moment, and he had been taught not to trust demons if he ever met one. Reluctantly, he reached out for the blade, still observing Taro very carefully.

Only to swat it aside after hearing his last remark.

"And who are you to know about humans?!" He growled at the male Kitsune, grabbing his pipe and going through the door that led to two of the five Oni that he had been trying to fight. Not only was he angry about Taro's remark, but he also felt threatened. He had thought that they wouldn't really figure it out, but apparently he was wrong, and he didn't want them to find out that he was part Oni. Nobody was supposed to know except for his mother. He had been told very clearly that he had to avoid having it discovered at all costs, so he was understandably on edge at the moment.

Gilbert shrugged and smiled sheepishly at Aru's question. "Actually... No, I didn't get to meet him. I was brought to his cave by someone who seemed like she knew about Ku, after a run-in with some gangsters, but Batman wasn't there and I never saw that woman again. Instead, I got to meet Batman's apprentice, Batgirl. Nice woman, though I knew her for a whooping five minutes, at most." He shrugged again, before looking up as he noticed that their order had been delivered. Looking at the hamburger hungrily, as though he was famished, he immediately took it into his hands and bit a large chunk of it. He chewed quickly and then swallowed before finally letting out a sigh of satisfaction. He really had needed that, he realized, but now that there was something on his stomach again he could take his time and enjoy his meal.

He did give Aru a bit of an odd look when he noticed her eating the steak with her bare hands, but then gave a mental shrug. Different races, different customs he reasoned, and decided not to pay any further mind to the matter. He was eating with his bare hands as well, after all, even if the bread supposedly cancelled that out.

Hearing Aru ask about his powers, he would have answered, had he not been in the middle of a bite. By the time he was done, however, Aru had stood up, stating that they might get some company soon. The young man cursed silently as he put the hamburger back down. Just when he thought he could come back from the dead to a nice and quiet date with an attractive alien, something came along to interrupt it. Sighing, he stood up facing the door as well, a frown firmly plastered on his face.

"To answer your question," He started. "yes, they did change, a bit. Dragons are pretty powerful psychics, and one of them made me, so apparently there's a bit of that in me."

Though the latter is more likely in her mind, she tails one of them from a distance to see where they go, relying on this person ignores her. upon seeing he's just going to get grocery's Vera decides to just make a note of their existence, there is no way this isn't important, even if it is her just going crazy.

Even though Vera isn't aware of this, it is not that easy to get a clear photo with how much she's moving, and with how dark it is. But eventually she arrives in the area she was planning on scouting, She slows down,
just enough that the guy following her may actually be able to get some clear pictures, and surveys the area, mostly keeping an eye on an old foreclosed construction site which, after scoping out that it's not being watched, she heads down to examine. She's mostly searching for anything that might say that it has been used for a gang meet point in the past, and it doesn't take long to find tire tracks, definitely not from Construction Equipment. She marks this off on a small notepad, and leaves to go to the next site she wants to examine tonight. She again starts moving quick enough that taking photo's will be difficult, wanting both clear out from that area before being spotted, and get to the next area before dawn.

It was getting closer.

Suddenly a large starship apeared out of nowhere. From out of it, several squid like beings appeared. They charged Claudia and Tomia, the former of which frowned. She stepped forward. "Stay close Tomia. I'll deal with these guys." She remarked.

Tomia yelped loudly as she backed away from the aliens, tripping and forcefully landing on her butt. She hardly even noticed that she dropped her ice cream. Trembling, Tomia put her hands over her head and waited for Claudia to deal with them.

" M-Miss Claudia." She trembled. " What are these things?"

She wanted her Daddy, a lot. If he was here, he would have saved her and whisked her away to safety liek he always did. But he wasn't here, he was hundreds of miles away, powering up for work reason. All she had was Claudia, who was strong, but wasn't her daddy. Sobbing now, Tomia huddled under the table, gripping the support bar.

Claudia looked back at Tomia. She frowned. "Don't worry." She said to the little girl. Only to get punched in the face by one of the squid people. She frowned. "You know, you made that little girl drop her ice cream..." She spoke. Then grabbed the squid man. "That makes me mad." Her momma bear insticts kicked in as she toss him into his comrades, hard. The fact he survived and was merely knocked unconcious told Claudia these guys were tougher than the regular schmoe.

Another one came at her, but she lazily batted him away, sending him into a building on the other side of street. The next one she simply puched in the gut and he caved, bending over, she lightly tapped him, sending him forcefully to the ground. When two came at once, she bashed their heads together and then slammed them into the ground. The very last squid man seemed reluctant to attack her, so she simpy ran up to him and kicked him into his ship, destroying it.

"She seems to have done well with the entrance exam."

"True. Perhaps she is what we're looking for..."

Claudia walked over to Tomia, tearing the table away like it was nothing. And then grabbed and craddled Tomia. "Shhh. It's okay. They won't hurt you." She remarked. "I told you I'd take care of them."

"Interesting... someone to fight for?"

"That could be a good angle. The Titaness with a heart..."

"Should I bring her in?"

"Yes, bring the little girl too. She seems marketable..."

The purple sand dunes of Cyris glistened in the light of it's blue moon under the gaze of the Nebula sky. Rocky spires rose as if to touch the cosmos, and below a shadow quickly passed over the sands- a serpentine winged entity was outlined. The dragon was close to it's prey now, and with a deep breath it let out a screech that caused it's prey to be disoriented, and plummet into the sands below.

With the chase done the dragon circled the skys above the fallen. Gradually dragoness glided down in a coil about it's fallen prey, and stuck it's head down to feast.

Unaware that it was being watched- high upon a near by plateau a figure uncloaked; he wore a mask, his armor was brown and covered in carvings, and trophies from game he'd gathered across the cosmos- and today the great hunter of the Ckiestilian dunes would be the prey of, the predator. With a pres of a button several others decloaked and the trap was sprung. A force chain connected to two metallic balls was flung from a balista like device as the feather serpent dragoness lifted her head, the object clasping her jaws together. She began to uncoil, and spread her wings only for a packaged net which had followed the previous projectile to surround her- the five predators rushed on hover bikes to secure the net. Leaping out with their bladed weapons- she thrashed, her tail free but the rest of her body pinned as the net was secured- she had never seen alloy of such strength, and with her sonic powers nullified her only hope was to break out- the net would be too heavy for her other form to handle.

Emotion and Physicality. Most notably however were her four arms, held tensely at her sisde a she aproached the group. She unsung a metal Bo Staff, her eyes squarely on the group. "[I hacked into the systems of every major government and peacekeeping organization, including SHIELD, SWORD, SPEAR, etc. while you were busy flirting with the female gelatinous creature.]"

"I wasn't-- Forget it. Just tell me where they are, specifically."

"[Uploading the location now.]"

On Jamal's visor appeared a holographic circular point overlayed over the city. He turned to face the captured "Alright, I'll leave you guys here for now." They shouted back angrily something in their native language.

"[They said-]"

"I don't need a translation for that. I got the gist of it." Jamal flew off towards the dot and found himself in front a cafe. Naturally the first thought that popped into his mind was why a Rantu would be inside of a cafe. He shrugged it off as a good sign that maybe this Rantu was indeed nonhostile after all. He walked into the cafe and immediately identified the Rantu, standing and facing him, indicating that she was expecting him. "Hello. Could I talk with you for a sec?" Jamal said, approaching Aru.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

"The Council is arguing and bickering about what should be done about this. It matter not. This about survival. We cannot win this war. The Builders have technology even the Shi'ar do not understand."

"No chance of survival against an all powerful enemy skullfucking all that we know and love. Is it Wednesday already?" Xander asked slightly annoyed that he had to deal with this nonsense again. "Craig. Uru is the best metal for holding enchantments and Adamantium takes too long to make. A Vibranium, Uru alloy is our best bet. I suppose combining magic and science is our best bet." Xander said, taking charge of the situation. It wasn't like Ronan was.

"It will not help. You do not understand-"

"Blah blah blah. We've had better luck at handling Thanos and Darkseid than you have. I bet we'll handle this better too." His boast was half arrogance and half to keep hopes up. "We've got a Kryptonian. A woman with the power of a million exploding suns. Me. A powerful telepath. A very smart technopath, and once we get Valka on the line, a handful of gods. I swear. We will pull a victory out of someone's ass. I have a handful of contingency plans if shit goes fanwards, but they are risky. So we'll discuss those if we have to. Naja. Head to Asgard and get the biggest gun we have. Craig, you already know what you're doing. Don't stop. You. New guy." He pointed to Hernan. "Get the Justice League, Avengers, and literally anyone with any sort of power that might come in handy. I'm not letting the universe die AGAIN. I was created to keep this planet safe. And I'll be damned if I let any of these Builder fucks get anywhere close to it."

"Aye aye Cap." Naja said and took off flying to the floating Golden City to enlist the aid of the Gods of old. Once again, she thought making an abrupt entrance, but once again, she chickened out and decided to knock on Valka's door rather than knock it down. Considering how many times Asgard got blown up. She figured this was the best way.

"Ronan. Your job is to stop whining and get back in gear. You're a goddamned Kree Accuser! You don't stop serving the empire until you're dead! I expect nothing less out of you. You can cry when you're dead. Same goes for everyone. We're all up shit creek without paddle. So quit whining and use your hands."

Ashes slides to a stop near the crash site of the Kree ship, having seen the crash from a distance away. She walks into the area, looking for whosoever in charge to see what she can do to help, while remember what she, or at least the suit, knew about the Kree. Though it isn't much, she does get the idea from the information that whoever downed this ship was Very, Very, powerful. She quickly forgets about trying to find who’s in charge, and instead helps some of the other heroes efforts in moving the Debris and helping the wounded Kree. She'd rather help the wounded then help someone who may rather recover data or technology from this wreck

Mars
Mars saw Xyria fall from the railing and she was moving away from the mattress. He doubted she'd be hurt if she fell, but he was still expected to catch her. So he ran a few steps and tried to grab Xyria but she was far too heavy for Mars who was as strong as an average human. He fell down under Xyria's wait and even though he broke her fall. He hit the ground hard, landing face first on the ground.

Hiroshi: Hell ( Four Months Prior )

" Where are we even going?" He finally asked, sighing as Oniyo looked past him in that glassy eyed stupor he kept falling into. They'd been traveling over the nightmarish landscape for days.

" Paitence."

Oh fuck this

As if Oniyo had ever learned patience. Even before he'd rushed to confront his Father on coronation day, he'd been pushy. He was beginning to think all this talk was nothing more than Oniyo punishing him for his failure on Earth. So far all he'd been told was to be patient and stop being pushy. The only information he'd gotten out of him so far was him saying something 'beyond' just ascending.

" Where are we even going Uncle?"

" Where I found myself." Oniyo muttered, before turning his tired onyx eyes to him. " Or more correctly, found it. It's hard to describe. It's not just as ending, it's something beyond that, a power far more potent then... There!"

Pointing into the distance, Hiroshi squinted at a small crater. The normally gray dirt was scarred by something. Even as they touched down, he could sense it was different then regular glass, it was black and it was as if the energy had been sucked out of it. This wouldn't have been entirely hard on Earth, but he'd never seen anything permanently scar the landscape down here.

Slowly Hiroshi circled the black blemish in the landscape. This was made by Oniyo, he decided. This technique he'd been speaking of had allowed him to I nreade his power far beyond what he'd ever achieved before. Was this what was supposed to happen to him when he felt his power overflow against Garlic? Turning his head upwards, he stared at the older Saiyan.

" You did this." Hiroshi spoke, an immediate grin forming on his elders face.

" I'd spent years in this hell, taunted by my failures." He muttered, staring off into the distance. " Taunted by my failure to defeat him. For years, Beasts like King Cold and the likes tore me limb from limb. It was here I found the power to challenge the Kai's themselves."

Descending slowly, Oniyo stood in the center of the blemish. " I'd again been torn limb for limb by the likes of Dabura the demon king. They'd left me here while they went onto to raze another encampment of Saiyans. I always hit a barrier, no matter how much power I amassed, I always fell short. Laying here in a pool of blood, just as those hellish fire storms washed over me, I reached out and felt that barrier for what it truly was." Oniy commented, unable to keep the bitterness out of his voice.

It was abstract, but with these things it always was.

" The barrier is more than a wall the Super Saiyan power can propel you over. It's the failure of our race. It's the failures I faced throughout my entire life. As the storms burned my skin away, and I raged beneath that storm, there was no way to force myself past it. I lay in this spot for hours, hoping the pain would drive me over the edge, but it never came." Oniyo said, almost in a trance. " I failed once again."

With every word, his muscles became more and more pronounced, the bitterness in his voice peaking as a Super Saiyan aura bursting to life, his hair peaking as golden energy washed over him.

It brought back terrible memories. Memories of broken cities, a Father and a monster dueling for his future.

" You're making it sound like you failed." Hiroshi sighed, his golden eyes meeting his Uncles. " If there is a barrier, we must be able to somehow overcome it."

" Ignorant." Oniyo snapped. " Once you realize the barrier exists, all you want to do is call at it viciously, and you'll still fail."

Staring at him, Oniyo sighed as he placed a hand on Hiroshi's shoulder, golden energy trailing off his frame.

" What do you see?" His Uncle asked, staring last him.

" I don't get it." Hiroshi snapped, shaking the hand off. " Don't be vague, you know I hate these riddles Uncle."

A sneer covered the Saiyans features as his hair sharpened again, his emerald eyes flashing.

" You know I don't mean that. When you see this form, what do you see? I can't be the Oniyo one who saw it in my own reflection."

The purple sand dunes of Cyris glistened in the light of it's blue moon under the gaze of the Nebula sky. Rocky spires rose as if to touch the cosmos, and below a shadow quickly passed over the sands- a serpentine winged entity was outlined. The form was that of a Cyris Dragon as it sped between the spires in pursuit of a smaller winged reptile- the dragon's form twisted as it's feathered wings and the humming sound waves from it's jaw propelled it forward causing the sand below to scatter.

"Leave her alone!" Shouted a voice from nearby, a surprising aura of importance and command to it, If the bladed men turned around, they would see a cloaked figure, robed in white training clothes with a white hood. her skin was blue as midnight, but her eyes, visable for their glow under the hood, were orange and red. Emotion and Physicality. Most notably however were her four arms, held tensely at her sisde a she aproached the group. She unsung a metal Bo Staff, her eyes squarely on the group. "You are not to harm this creature. Not while I still draw breath!" She declared simply. She was Rama, of the Yamira's, who found things like trapping animals extremely distasteful, especially when their aura suggested... more. Rama was not going to sit by and let an injustice unfold. She may have left her home planet, but she did not leave behind the lessons taught by her masters.

A technological noise came from the individual closest to Rama as it moved forward with blades in a fighter's poise. Two of the five who where on either side of the main figure who now approached Rama cloaked- their vague outlines and sandy footprints showed as they approached ready to flank Rama. Meanwhile the winged serpent dragoness continued to thresh with her free tail- her wings preventing her from slithering back- yet even then she could do some harm as the wait of her tail came down upon one of hunters who was away from the three who prepared to attack Rama. At this the fifth cloaked, and prepared to use a force pike upon the captive.
