" Let's hurry and get some ice cream!" Tomia giggled, urging Claudia faster by bouncing her boots on her side. For a second she could have sworn Claudia looked guilty when she mentioned how tired and worn out her Dad was, but it was gone as fast as it appeared.

" He trains all night too." She muttered. " He wants to ascend he says. He says there's a threat coming. I've also heard him talking to himself."

"He does do that." Claudia muttered absently. She walked towards the ice cream store, a small stand with lots of flavours. She smiled at the clerk and placed Tomia down on the counter. picking her off her head. "There you go, what flavour do you want?" She asked, tempted to lean on the shop but she might actually break it and a lot of other things if she did. She looked at the pictures of ice cream they could have.

"And what do you mean by... I? You just said that you're a group." She was actually quite proud of herself for picking up on that.

Jamal stared at the giant slime girl for a few seconds in silence. Clearly, she wasn't the brightest person, or slime person, rather. Or maybe she was, for all he knew. In which case he wondered how in the world such a species could function. "Those guys," Jamal pointed at the captured Ratu pirates, "are captured inside of a localized gravity field. Jamal paused, realized that she likely would simply become even more confused. "Er, that is to say..." He trailed off as he realized that he was struggling to put it in as simple terms as possible. Maybe Worldmind had rubbed off on him a little too much.

"Alright, it's... a bubble where gravity doesn't act normally because I control it." Jamal wasn't certain whether that helped at all. After all, he wasn't a teacher and explaining something in simple terms was more difficult than he expected. Jamal released a sigh when Xyri asked him why he said "I" after stating he was a part of a group. "That's even more complex. But, the cliff notes version is that everyone else is...dead. I'm the only one left." He felt a sting in his gut as he said this. No matter how many times he repeated this, he still hadn't gotten over it and therefore it never came easy to him.

Xyri frowned. She was aware of the concept of gravity. When someone jumped, they came back down. Things like that made sense to her. She wasn't quite skilled enough in social comunication to understand that Jamal didn't think she was very smart, but she did get a sense of condensention from him, even if she couldn't describe it as such. She mentally shrugged, reasoning it didn't really matter. "Gravity... so they fly, like birds or orange ships." She nodded. Then frowned slightly. "I understand. I am alone too. No one else like me around. Definitely not." She spoke, nodding. Though Jamal's situation was a little more complex than that. "I can hug you if it'll make you feel better." She sincerely suggested.

Liberty might have had a witty comeback about... five seconds ago? Heck, she was good at thinking of things on the fly and planning ahead. But... right now she really was having trouble thinking of anything to retort with. She simply looked into the eyes of the other android, their eyes meeting. She really was having a hard time thinking at all now, and she had no idea why. Why was she so... flustered? Why was she so close to someone who had tried to murder her not long ago? She knew the answer. It was just hard to admit.

She leaned her head forward and kissed the other android, her arm moving to the back of his head. If he used the opertunity to stab her in the back... well. She didn't care too much now. Now she was a little too preoccupied with Frank.

Battle! Vs. Liberty!

I was already bracing for the hit. The finishing blow. Some time ago. I was in her place... and she survived via transfomation. Was it... foolish of me to even meet her? Back there, on Battleworld, I remember already... the first move was me saving her from a Thor. And now, we are furious enemies. I thought about all this time that passed. I had already closed my eyes and was prepared t meet my fate...

And yet, that strike never happened. I was not feeling my body being vaporized, pulverized... but I felt something was going on. Should I open my eyes? Without thinking it out, I did... What? Why? With her? I had too many questions in my mind. I almost believed my mind is making this up as a pre-death hallucination... but it was real. It was in front of me, solid and clear.

We were kissing. And, unlike what I would have wanted to do... I did not move my head back and immediately stab Liberty in the chest. This was the perfect opportunity... and yet... I was wasting it. I was enjoying it. What is this feeling... I felt so... happy... powerless... and yet, seeking HER...

My previous self would be disgusted. But fuck my previous self. He's a cocky insecure brat. I embaced the kiss. I closed my eyes again. I... I'm not even me anymore...

Liberty was also surprised by the whole affair. Sure she initiated the kiss, but she still couldn't believe she had done it. Why? Frank had been such an asshole to her. Had nearly killed her multiple times just to prove his superiority, was a massive racist and... yet she couldn't deny she was attracted to him in a way that she hadn't to any of the many organics she had fucked. She felt something else for him. Too early to call love, so she just decided to call it magnetism and leave it at that.

She pulled back. Still on top of Frank. She paused, then folded her arms on his chest, supporting herself. She sighed. "So..." She started. This was awkward. "Does this... change anything? I mean..." She paused. "Honestly, this is pretty new for me. Not the whole kissing thing, but kissing someone I had been shooting and beating repeatedly with massive guns. I'm not sure..." She paused. Then leaned back in. Was she even really the same now? She felt like she was more justice than Liberty. She switched back to her Liberty form, trying to see if that would make a difference.

It didn't. Not at all. It was like using a different lense, but she still saw... Frank. And she wanted him.

"Wanna talk about this... or... we could always fuck." She suggested. "I mean, it's the most logical step forward. At least for me."

They had finally reached the large toy store that was one of those two floor stores. "Come on Jonathan. I'm sure we can find you a stuff animal you like here." Harvey said as the five of them went through the Isle of the stores, seeing various stuffed creatures as they waited for Jonathan to chose the one he liked. Samantha couldn't help but keep an eye on Hannah, as if when she looked away something bad would happen to her. She didn't envy James. He had to care for his two brothers, and he was only 16. Sometimes Samantha didn't realize how lucky she was to have Sarah there to take care of her all those years. She'd have to remember to tell Sarah how grateful she was sometime.[/quote]
Interestingly, Jon didn't get a bear. He managed to find a stuffed werewolf somwhere which was quite lovingly made. Hanah was surprised by this choice, but she had to say she approved. Henry looked at it with confusion and Hannah smiled at him. "Your brother has good taste." She quipped. Then gave a sitcom comedic shrug. Jonathan hugged the wolf, clearly very pleased with his choice. He had been competely silent the whole time.

"He doesn't talk much." Remarked Harvey. Hannah grinned slightly.

"He's been talking to me this whole time." She explained. "We had a conversation while we picked little Wolfy out."

Jonathan nodded.

"Also, you're last name is Anderson?" She asked. "That seems strangely funny for some reason.."

"You're in the clear." Fury said. "Go do whatever it is you guys like to do in your spare time." He waved his hand in a dismissing motion. "Coulson will show you the way out." By Coulson, he really meant Hernan, but Fury wasn't aware of that. Hernan escorted both of them back to the hanger and made the other SHIELD grunts leave the room.

"I suppose it is time to come clean." Hernan said and shifted back to his normal Hispanic self. "Do not worry. Agent Coulson is unharmed. In fact, I came to you because I have an offer to make. One I think you will find quite pleasing. I am aware of the loss of your planet. A terrible misfortune to be certain. But, what if I told you that I knew a way for you to get it back?" He asked. "And all I ask in return, is one of your finest personal spacecrafts. Though the journey will be... Taxing. We will be gathering fragments of the Phoenix... I apologize. I am getting ahead of myself. My name is Hernan Sanchez. I am a Half mutant, Half Skrull psionic. One of the most powerful on this planet."

Lord Alastir, Lord Spera, Asumar Masaki, & Kazuko Masaki
The Wrath of the Celestials
SHIELD Helicarrier

Asumar and Kazuko followed the man who appeared to be Phil Coulson "Now there won't be many problems any more, though I'm sure we're not going to be the most famous people around." Asumar joked, knowing that their show in New York would make them relatively hated in the United States, but It wasn't that they cared anymore, there would be no more registered heroes to go off after them, now Asumar could finally raise his child in peace, to train him further to be a better fighter than he had ever been, and speaking of Ryuichi, where in the world did he run off to? Asumar dismissed these thoughts as Hernan led them into the SHIELD Hanger and told the other Agents to leave. Okay, was there something wrong here? Asumar asked himself, he saw as Phil Coulson transformed into a Hispanic man who began to explain himself, stating that Coulsion was unharmed or something like that.

What gained Asumar's attention was that this man, known as Hernan Sanchez said that there was a possibility to restore Sigma Galli Prime to it's former glory, in exchange for their finest spacecraft that the Dynasty had in it's arsenal, was that it? Just give him a spacecraft, collect fragments of the phoenix, and then the planet would be restored, surely there was a catch to this! But Hernan sounded honest as can be, and Asumar couldn't sense any ill will coming from Hernan, so perhaps he wasn't lying "What I got from those words is that with the help of the energy from the phoenix fragments, you will be able to restore Sigma Galli Prime back to it's original state, before General Eiling destroyed it, is that right." And speaking of General Eiling...

Alastir approached the Military Base where Eiling had been located at, well, according to Akor at least, and his dragon was very a trustworthy source, the two had gained a caring bond with one another, although it seemed as if Akor would rather squish Alastir than hang around with him, but this was merely a ruse in order to make people assume that Akor and Alastir were working under a very tense relationship, but in reality, Alastir and Akor had a general bond with one another. As rockets were fired from the ground and towards Akor, the black tendrils that shot out of Alastir's back intercepted the missiles, wrapped around them and then crushed it into tiny pieces of it's former glory, Akor gave out a low growl in gratitude for his master's interception "It's nothing special you know, we've known each other for Eleven Million Years, we've established a bond you know." Alastir said with a dark chuckle.

From above them, the number of demons that had been gathering were gigantic to say the least, all of them were ready to turn the military base upside down and feast upon the succulent flesh of mankind, knowing from firsthand experience that the flesh of humans were the tastiest of all exotic meats in the Universe, even though there were divine creatures that had delicious flesh, to taste the actual blood from humans was enough to send Alastir's Demons into a blood lusted frenzy to say the least. Watching as the Dirty Humans attempted to shoot Akor out of the sky was entertaining to them, even if the missiles had shot Akor, he still would have been standing with relative ease, they watched with bated breath as Alastir continued to stare down at the Military base, the demons just waiting to swarm upon the Military Base and begin their feast.

Samantha Grimm/John Morgan
Sam was surprised as well when Jonathan came back with a stuffed werewolf, but couldn't help but smile at the choice. "It looks like you have an admirer." She quipped playfully to Hannah. She was glad that her little sister seemed to be making friends. She was usually a little anti-social and didn't get along with people well, not that Sam blamed her for that. People weren't usually very accepting of her because of her unique appearance. She led Hannah and the Andersons to the register to pay for the werewolf and once that was done they headed outside to walk back toward the Devil's Den. Then however, they saw John and Sarah walking toward them, holding hands and looking very friendly with each other. Sam raised her eyebrow a bit at that but didn't say anything.

John walked up and saw the group standing outside the store and smiled and waved to them with his free hand. He figured it would be best for Sarah to explain their plan to her sisters. He wasn't sure how they'd feel about it, though he hoped they'd be happy.

"Yes Katie... Ugh. I got to choose my height and length of my spinal column. I chose to make it as long as possible to inconvenience everyone." He said ever so sarcastically. "But, really. Thank you for that." Standing up he finally got his head on straight as the dizziness faded. "They didn't make me do anything crazy did they?"

"Umm... They made you blow up the Masakis' Homeworld..." Naja said. "So... There's that." She said and threw her arms around him. "I am so glad you're back... And I'm so sorry for making you do that. I had no idea." Once again, Naja was beginning to squeeze the life out of him.

"I... Love you... Too. Crushing... Everything." He strained to say and Naja dropped him, allowing him to catch his breath. "Thank you. Who made me go blow up that planet? I'm gonna feed him his own-"

"Don't worry about it. It's being taken care of. So how about your curb your homicidal tendencies and us three go grab some dinner?"

Hernan

"The catch is. We only really need one fragment, but it will take some time for the Phoenix to heal. And we will need to help it. We show it our love. And it will show us it's love. It could very easily reconstitute your world. The problem being that it prefers to use mutants as it's host. Of which I am. And that it can be difficult to control." He explained. "I believe I have the method for controlling it, but there is the chance that I lose control and make things worse. Given that the Phoenix has limitless power... It could blow up in our faces." He admitted. So far, the Masakis were willing to listen to him. Most people would have thought him insane for attempting to control the Phoenix, but with it, he'd be able to see all that the universe had to offer.

"You... are moving a bit too quickly with this relationship, you know?" I muttered. I could see her face right in front of me now. Still bright and lovely. "Yeah, it's... it's tough, huh?" Jamal couldn't help but feel sorry for Xyri and feeling that she had it worse in the lonely department. Truth be told, it Jamal normally didn't interact with the Nova Corpsman of the other sectors all too often, unless in the extremely rare case that all of them were called in for a Corps-wide meeting important enough that required the immediate and personal attention of the whole Corps. As such, he wasn't necessarily impacted on a personal level when the Corps was decimated, but, rather, it was the shock of being a part of something greater and suddenly having that whisked away.

Furthermore, it wasn't as though Jamal had shared much in common with the other Corpsmen. What they shared was at a mere surface level of simply being a part of the Nova Corps, whereas fundamental things such as what species they were, the planed they hailed from, their culture, etc. were all different. In reality, it wasn't necessarily that he was lonely, as of late, it was the frustration of doing the grueling work of hundreds of thousands of individuals all by himself.

On the other hand, Xyri's situation was vastly different. Not only was she not a member of the human species and living on Earth, but she was different. She wasn't like Superman where she could blend in and pass for a human. Jamal figured that she was reminded of the fact that she had no one else like her every day simply by virtue of being different. He didn't have to be an alien slime person to figure that it must feel awful. When Xyri suggested that she could give him a hug, Jamal was legitimately surprised. It wasn't everyday he was offered a hug from a slime person, though he had a feeling that at least a part of the reason Xyri offered was to make herself feel better as well. Jamal couldn't help but smile at the genuine offer and said, "Sure, why not?"
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Craig Thomsen/Silverwing
Artificer Absolute

Once arriving in Deathstroke's hideout, Craig had got to work, setting up his laptop and a few tools on a table, assembling some of his robots to fix the place up. After they successfully fixed the electricity, Internet and cooling systems, he sat down, opening up his custom Thomsen laptop, looking at a few of the drafts he had made. The young inventor had many projects, but right now, he needed to find a solution to this Civil War before it got even worse. It was already bad enough, Craig using his technopathic abilities to skim through several articles on the Web.

His mind traveled back to when he had talked with Daniel, remembering the martial artist telling him of his Earth, an alternate reality. And there it was. If he could just visit these alternate realities to see how they had solved their Civil Wars, perhaps he would be able to adapt one solution to fit their current situation. And he began, drawing up some quick sketches of what he wanted to do.

A couple of hours later, he had an orb made of the vibranium, uru and adamantium alloy Valka had used to make the Silverwing armor, a semi-sentient being made out of him, as Craig had injected some of his blood into the alloy, gifting the orb with technology-based powers and making it so only he could use it. He had called it the Orb of Cognition. It was a remarkable device, but unable to open the space-time continuum for him to access the alternate realities. Running a hand through his curly hair, he turned the lights off and went to the cot, falling into a restful slumber.

Craig dreamed of stars, all around, nearly blinding him with their radiance. He turned around, and being surprised he was able to do so within a dream, looked down to see his body. He poked himself, feeling flesh and blood. And then, he saw it, for that which he saw could not be described by gender. The entity's body was decorated with constellations and supernovas, Craig feeling desperately small besides him. "This isn't a dream," he stated, looking up at the entity.

"I am Eternity, Craig. I am the collective consciousness of all living beings throughout space and time. And I have brought you here, to another plane, so that we may speak." the cosmic entity spoke, those glowing eyes gazing down upon the human. "Speak of what?" asked the inventor, a bit confused.

"Firstly, your efforts to access alternate realities should not continue. No matter what precautions you attempt to take, you would rip holes in space and time, allowing many things to find their way into your universe. Most of them would be quite bad. You will have to solve this one on your own, Craig Thomsen, though, take heart in the fact that you will find a way."

"Humans are remarkable creatures, and you are among the most remarkable. Across the multiverse, universal constants are nearly impossible to find. One of them, is Earth, it is the center of the multiverse. Another, is myself. And yet another, is the fact that across all the alternate realities, you, Craig Thomsen, remain a good man trying to fix your world, all save one. In one reality you lost your way. But good men like you are very hard to find, especially in the trying times you find yourself in. For a long time, I believed that there were only two sides to the coin: magic and science. But after coming upon you, Craig, I have decided that there should a third side: technology. Yes, science does use technology heavily, but that is not the point, it deserves a place of its own. Magic is the impossible. Science is making the impossible possible. And technology is making the possible accessible and applicable."

Craig quirked an eyebrow, still not getting the point.

Eternity sighed to himself, muttering of how they never got the point. "Stephen Strange is Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, though that will be challenged by two others. Hank Pym is Earth's Scientist Supreme. And you, Craig Thomsen? You are Earth's Artificer Absolute." the entity stated.

"But what about Stark, or even T'Challa?" Craig asked. The reply swiftly came, "For Anthony, science is a tool he can use to shape the world and his destiny. He has lost his way, during this Civil War. And as for T'Challa, his concerns are with Wakanda, and he does not view making technology accessible as the right thing. They are good men, but I have chosen another. Your subconscious limits you, Craig. Your capacity to learn and invent is as large as Reed Richards. Do not fear your potential, but embrace it, and use it for the right things."

The young man looked up at a being millions of years older than him. "I understand now. Thank you." Eternity shook his head, "No, Craig, thank you." And reaching out a finger, the entity sent the inventor back to his dreams, from which he soon awakened. Earth's Artificer Absolute stood up, holding the Orb of Cognition in his hand, preparing to undertake a scan of the planet.

He didn't know what he would find, but that didn't matter. His story was just beginning.

Kirisvala didn't really know what to make of what Jake was saying to her, though she had the feeling that he was being just the slightest bit rude. When a bunch of gusts of wind came their way, though, and then someone arrived and Jake got distracted talking to him, she figured that she didn't really have to respond to him. Either way, she was quite pleased when she noticed that Rocket had reached out to hold her claw, grinning happily at this new development and shaking Rocket's metallic hand energetically before finally releasing it, hoping that she hadn't accidentally hurt Rocket due to her excitement, though she doubted she had, considering hers were simply scales while his hand was made of metal.

As she was still in the general vicinity of everyone else, she heard Mars address Jake's questions about Rocket, and listened in. Naturally, she couldn't make out most of what Mars was saying, but she managed to understand that he was basically saying that Rocket was rather intelligent.

"So you're very smart right?" She asked of the robot as she turned back to him, seemingly just as eager to talk to him as she had been with any other living organism. He appeared to be very receptive, for one. "Does that mean you can tell me more about this planet? Like, about the people that live here and that stuff? Or maybe about the language we're speaking right now? I assimilated it but I didn't really find out much about it from what I've seen so far. Oh! And I've noticed that you don't really talk with your body like most other people do. Why's that, if you don't mind me asking?" She prattled off excitedly, hoping to learn some new things about this place she was in. She expected that she was going to be staying here for a while, after all, what with her new friends forming a group with each other and such.

"Alright then... I can't say I've ever found myself in that very specific situation, but I'll keep that in mind, thanks." Was all that Gilbert could say in regards to Aru's comment about gold bars, not being as familiar with interplanetary travel as she was. He then frowned ever so slightly when she seemed to keep coming back to the topic of his death, hoping that she'd understand that it wasn't such a big deal for him but realizing that she didn't seem likely to do so. Of course, he couldn't exactly blame her, since death usually was a pretty big deal for most if not all living creatures, and either way he wasn't going to lose his patience about it. That would not only ruin his chances with the rather attractive blue woman, something that he'd hate, but it would also be pretty rude, something he wasn't keen on being.

His smile returned pretty soon when he noticed that she had turned to the menu instead. Looking through it himself, he listened to her ask her question, chuckling slightly at her comment about Gorn meat, whatever that was. It sure as hell didn't sound very tasty. Either way, Gilbert thought for a few moments how to answer her question, before proceeding to list off some standard dishes commonly found in the average american street cafe, along with a list of their respective pros and cons.

"So, what would you like?" He asked after giving his very helpful and detailed summary.

Akihiko frowned when he heard Akari calling him foul-mouthed, but didn't say anything, as he was too busy falling to the ground once his chains and shackles had been cut off, since he had been hanging from the wall. He muttered something that sounded vaguely like an 'Ow' after falling, and was about to get up and shout at them to be more careful next time, but decided against it. He didn't really want to make enemies of these unlikely allies he had just found, and he was especially not eager to start shouting at a group of girls... and a fox demon. But perhaps what deterred him the most, insofar as it surprised him to the degree of distracting him from his anger, was the hand that was offered to him. A bit begrudgingly, he took it and used it to support himself and get up, nodding to Akari and dusting himself off afterwards.

Hearing about the Oni that were incoming and noticing that the woman with white hair told him to go to a room in the south to take care of the remaining ones, he nodded once again. "I'll take care of them." He said, already feeling his strength returning to him. Those chains must've had something that was limiting his recovery, he reasoned, or else he would have regained his power sooner. Either way, however, now that he was back in top shape, or at least able to command as much strength as his medallion allowed him, he walked over and tore off a nearby pipe in order to use it as a makeshift weapon while he recovered Kusanagi. He did feel that he'd need something to assist him, since he was weaker than full-blooded Oni even when his strength was not suppressed by his medallion. Adding to that, he wasn't willing to take it off for this battle, much less so in the presence of other creatures that were not his enemies. He'd have to recover Kusanagi as soon as possible, he reasoned.

"Let's hurry. I need that sword back." He said bluntly, before heading through the door to where his enemy awaited.

Meanwhile, Garnet simply whistled as she made a weapons check, futile as it might've been. Agony punched perfectly, her sword cut perfectly, and everything else worked perfectly. It was even completely moot to check if Misery had ammunition inside, since the damn thing reloaded itself periodically with no apparent source for the bullets.

"Some ally we found ourselves." She idly remarked as she made sure that Longing's portals worked appropiately, which they obviously did.

Sarah was still holding hands with John when they arrived at the toy store, a wide smile on her face. It was fairly easy for her to spot her sisters, as she had a mind link with them. She figured that she could have told them the good news through it, but in the end she had decided that it would be best for her to tell them in person, if only so that she could see their faces lit up. Much like John, she waved at the group, and then moved towards her sisters, briefly turning to smile at John before arriving next to Sarah and Hanah. Before she spoke, however, she noticed the stuffed wolf that Jonathan had picked out for himself, and barely avoided a cuteness overload.

"Well isn't that just adorable?" She said, patting the boy on the head, before putting her arms around her sisters' shoulders and dragging them away a little bit.

"So girls, do you want to go to Disney World?" She asked them.

Still, at least the sandwich looked fine.

Mars and Rocket
Mars looked on curiously as Kiris spoke to Rocket. No one ever really held a conversation with him besides Mars. Most people were too freaked out to approach him. Meanwhile Rocket analyzed Kiris' questions and responded dutifully. "The language we are currently speaking is English of an American dialect. It is an Indo-European language that belongs in the Germanic family of languages. It dates back to 5th century, approximately 1600 years ago. This planet is known as Earth. It is the third planet from the Sun of the Milky Way Galaxy, and has held life for approximately 3.5 billion years and has one moon in its orbit. The planet is host to approximately 1.2 million known species, one of which being humans. Humans are life forms with developed reasoning skills who have created sophisticated societies such as the one we are in currently. However they are also prone to great violence and destruction." Rocket said, attempting to answer Kiris' question.

He then responded to her other question. "Human beings speak using their vocal cords which create vibrations that are emitted through their mouths. My voice is projected by a sound wave generator that is connected to my to thought processor. It is then emitted by a microphone, making the process of opening my mouth unnecessary."

Samantha Grimm
Sarah had come towards Samantha and Hannah and Samantha smiled when she waved to them. She suddenly then pulled them into a hug and pulled them away from the others, asking if they wanted to go to Disney World. Samantha was very surprised, they hadn't been planning a trip like that. Then again, she should have suspected it. Sarah was always quite unpredictable and often changed their plans. "Disney World? Well, we've never been there before. We'll have to pack all our stuff though. Where'd you get this idea Sarah? Sam asked curiously. She also looked over to Hannah, who she imagined would be quite excited.

Hiroshi:

" Come out and fight me cowards!" The Suoer Saiyan howled, his voice echoing across the mountain side. It was then he felt two energy signatures behind him. Spinning, he could only flinch away as he stared into what he could only describe as the sun. Raising his hand, he tried to shield his eyes so he could find out who or what was-

" You sure scream a lot." The voice came from above him, followed by two more crimson bolts of energy rocketing towards him. Sparks of golden energy wrapped around his frame, his palm snapping outwards, forcing energy into his hand. Anger boiled beneath his skin as the blasts impacted his extended appendage. Grunting, Hiroshi fleet the energy burn his hand, before his aura intensified, a mighty push sending the two bolts outwards, before they exploded on the horizon in a hail of hellish energy. He'd almost forgotten for s moment that he was holding some chick to his side, and these punks were attacking him knowing he was. How many of them were there? Two? Three? All he could rely on was energy signatures and he could feel the two who had just attacked him trying to hide their energy.

Lin's screams were still echoing in his ears, along with the eh screams of the city below him, the population watching in horror as they witnessed the same power that had wiped out Satan City, while at the same time saving them.

Descending quickly, he set the quivering female down, his emerald eyes scanning the area around them intensely.

What the hell do I-

Energy spiked only a hundred meters from him, the last of the original apartment complex exploding violently, Crimson energy exploding from every crevice. Nightmarishly, red and black energy washed over the crowd, erasing hundreds of lives from existence in a moment.b

Without a moments notice, he shoved the sobbing woman behind him roughly, his aura exploding around him as she landed on her butt.

"Stay here!" He ordered, propelling himself into the air.

The burning buildings drove a mass of fury through his veins, a vein trembling in his forehead as he floated silently. Why kill all these people? To distract him? They'd only brought more of his fury forward upon them. Tensing his body, the second stage of Super Saiyan came easily, energy whipping violently around him, his emerald eyes flashing with fury. His hair arched into the he air with another pulse of energy, before his aura exploded around him, wave after wave of force washing over the city, the lions share of his power revealed.

Tensing, his emerald eyes scanned over the city. The second he felt anything remotely powerful, was the second the poor fool died. Growling, Hiroshi whipped his head around, scanning behind him, staring silently into the ruins of his apartment complex.

But there was nothing, not a single flicker of power beyond his own.

Something snapped within him, his fingers digging violently into his palms, blood oozing past his fingers. The air around him caught fire, lightening sparking around his frame.

They'd attacked him while he was at home, then they'd disappeared without a trace and left him floating use here like a useless fucking moron? They'd threatened him in the middle of the night while he was being charitable to a neighbor then left him here entirely impotent? They had the audacity to bail out?

A wild, almost animalistic howl ripped from his throat, the city rumbling beneath him as his screams echoed out into the night, his tail thrashing violently behind him.

He said ever so sarcastically.

"They also made you fight a Saiyan too aparantly." Katie added, then sighed. "And I was refering to your height compared to mine Al. Am I just really short or are you two really tall?" She teased, then looked around. She thought Cora would have been here by now. That was odd. SHe turned back to them. "Sure. Though we would have to make it four. We could do a double date with you and Naja and me and Cora. Speaking of which..." She turned around and yelled. "Cora! Where are you?!" She xincerely hoped nothing bad happened to her.

"You... are moving a bit too quickly with this relationship, you know?" I muttered. I could see her face right in front of me now. Still bright and lovely. Wait, so this isn't just a flux in my programming? I'm not hallucinating or having a post-death dream about my hidden fantasies? Because it surely looks like it. "I mean... I wouldn't be against, but... you have to remember we've been trying to kill each other for the past hour." I was holding onto her wais and looking into her eyes. What did I see in her? What even happened with me?

My motion tracked detected... something incoming. Shut up, brain. This is not the time. We are having a moment, don't try to ruin it.

"Fair enough. It was just a suggestion." She spoke. Then paused. She dropped that surprisingly quickly. She shook her head. "I suppose it would make more sense to... have a date at which we're not fighting each other? I mean we could actually talk and shit. Getting to know each other would... help I guess? I don't know." She shrugged. "I've never been in a... "real" relationship so help me out here. What do you want to do now since sex is off the menu?" She remarked.

Charmera wrote:Xyri frowned.

Xyri smiled. She placed her hand on the roof of the building. From that a smaller Xyri apeared, steeping free from the ooze (After all she didn't want to crush him at her massive size) she was about nine feet in hieght and looked exactly the same as big xyri, who had lost a tiny bit of size. The large but small xyri walked over to Jamal, then wrapped her massive arms around him, bringing him into a huge hug. She looked down at him, smiling. "Are you feeling better?" She asked. The big Xyri also smiling at the two, so she wasn't just delegating the hug, though even if big xyri wasn't paying attention, it would stlll be as if he was getting small xyris full attention, the slime girl able to split herself among her duplicates rather easily.

"Base, this is operation Dubai calling in. Unit Delta 8256 is 10 minutes late to the rendezvous, please advise," spoke a man into his radio. The man was currently standing next to the cargo plane that Del had jumped out of earlier. It was parked on a private airstrip just outside of Dubai and was supposed to be where Del would meet them so that they could take off to Europe. As it stood, Del was supposed to be there ten minutes ago, breaking her streak of being at the extraction point right when she was supposed to on the dot. Not only was is surprising behavior, it was disturbing. Soon though, her armored figure could be seen walking towards the plane with a pistol in hand. The man quickly picked up his radio again and told them to disregard his prior statement. "What the hell took you so long?" he called out, not expecting a response and not getting one besides her continued walk towards him. The co-pilot stuck his head out to say that the plane was prepped and then hopped down to join his comrade on the tarmac. "Come on," said the pilot again once Del was close, "we don't have all da- what the?!" Suddenly the man's speech was interrupted when Del threw a punch into his face, breaking his jaw and leaving him on the ground unconscious. She quickly followed it up with a kick to the co-pilot's chest, shoving him to the ground and breaking several of his ribs. As he lay there coughing up blood, Del took aim with her pistol and stopped.

Are you any better if you kill him? she thought, Or is it justified with all the death he's caused? She stood there for a full minute, contemplating what to do. I have to start somewhere, she finally decided, and shot the man in the knee. She left him there, crying out in pain and holding his shattered joint, and climbed into the already prepped plane and took off. All of HYDRA's equipment came standard with trackers, so Del took precautions and blocked all outgoing signal's on the plane. It would cause some air traffic confusion, but she would manage. Once the plane was at a steady course, she went to the back and set up a makeshift bed before laying down and phasing off her armor. Under it she had on a hoodie and jeans that she kept on most of the time. For awhile she laid there, contemplating what had happened. She was finally doing it, breaking off from HYDRA and doing what she wanted. It felt good. Soon she would be in Spain and have to refuel to go onto America. She had already decided that New York would be a good place to go for now. Densely populated, known for having hero's associated with SHIELD, and large. It would be perfect for losing HYDRA. For now though, she had a long flight ahead of her and a good time to sleep. While she really didn't need it as an A.I., as her more human personality developed she found that she enjoyed it anyway and it had almost become a psychological necessity as she tried to imitate her biological counterparts. So she closed her eyes, let her sub-routines handle the plane, and slept.

Del walked through the street's of New York nervously. Things had not gone as she had hoped after landing in Spain. First of all, HYDRA had somehow tracked her there and almost kept her from leaving by force. She had to abandon the cargo plane when they had been waiting outside the airstrip and then thirty men with automatic rifles had somehow tracked her to a public airport and tried to shoot up a terminal. Authorities quickly reacted though and she gave covering fire as civilians evacuated. Still, lots of blood was spilled on her behalf and she was already questioning her decision. Now that she had managed to get to New York in one piece she realized the HYDRA would not be dissuaded from getting her back. Already she had spotted five different people following her in the hour since she landed and the situation was getting more dangerous by the second. She couldn't have a repeat of what happened in Spain, too many people would die. Thinking quickly, she found several abandon warehouse's on the outskirts of the city and hailed a cab. All during the ride she could tell that there were a multitude of vehicles following her. She had almost made it to her destination when the cabbies head exploded into a spray of blood and brain matter from a sniper round. Del quickly put on her armor and leapt from the vehicle, civilians already fleeing in terror of what was happening. All around, rifle's started firing off. Bullets pinged off Del's armor as she saw civilian's fall around her, the HYDRA agent's not caring who they fired at. Del quickly pulled out her rifle and started returning fire, taking out every agent she saw. They kept coming though and her armor's shielding was starting to falter from the constant barrage of bullets. It soon became clear that this was not the place for a shootout and she started to run towards her original destination as she fired. The men followed, ignoring the civilians as their quarry tried to escape. The hunt was on, and HYDRA would not let her go without a fight.

When Xyri began moving her giant hand towards Jamal, he immediately considered that maybe it wasn't a good idea to agree to the hug, as he expected her to pick him up and then essentially smother him with he giant size.

"Made me fight a Saiyan... The only Saiyan I know that wouldn't have been immediately smeared by me at full strength is Okarot. Hopefully I didn't hurt him too bad." He said and snapped his fingers, returning to his purple robes. "Much better. Six feet tall is only above average, I'm pretty sure." He snickered. "Speaking of which. I want your honest opinions on something. I've finally came up with a real superhero name to suit my new magical talents. And, it could be the drain bramage talking, but I'm going to change my name just a little bit. How does Lex sound to you guys?" He asked. "Paired with my superhero title: Hex. I'd like to think I'm pretty damn clever." He admitted with a grin.

"Well... I mean I like the Superhero one. But the other one makes me think of of Luthor."

"But according to Stark, my last name is legally Smith." He explained. "I have a social security number and... Pay taxes." He shuddered.

"Yeah. Welcome to the US." Naja said rolling her pupil-less eyes. "You're going out with Cora now, Katie? Cool."

"Can we go get something to eat? When I'm Double G, I metabolize like a damn star. If I don't get a burger in me within the next hour. I will throw such a tantrum."

"You're a loon."

"No. If I were a loon, I'd be using Chaos Magic and making the laws of physics look like mere suggestions. Also, everything would be a lot more colorful."

Cora
During the fight Cora had realized that she wouldn't be much use up against Alex and trying to fix his brain, so she decided to try to protect her city as well. She had stopped multiple buildings from falling and had rescued too many people to count. She didn't really get hurt either. Despite a few close calls, some scrapes, and her clothes ripping a bit she was fine. She looked a bit of a mess though. There was a light layer of dust on her face and her jeans were ripped a bit on the thighs. Her shirt collar had ripped as well, though it was still mostly intact.

As she finished up, she heard Katie calling after her and immediately followed her voice. When she arrived she saw she was standing with Alex and Naja and everything seemed alright. She hugged Katie in relief, ignoring the fact that she was covered in dust and her clothes were ripped. "Sorry if I scared you by wandering off. I figured I'd be of better use trying to protect civillans." Cora told her new girlfriend, hoping Katie wasn't mad at her.

She nodded as things were explained to her, nodding slowly. She still was having some trouble understanding what the food actually was, but she reasoned this had to be better than some of the food she'd tasted before. Besides, it was more about conversation than eating. She spoke, pointing towards the steak with french fries. "I'll have that. It sounds quite apetising." She remarked. Then closed her menu. She smiled, it was not often she got a break from work like this.

"So, I said I wanted to ask you questions about yourself. Get to know the person who saved the world twice." And destroyed it once. But she decided not to mention that. "So, you spoke of your memories being falsified... when did you start developing memories of your own? And which of them were you favourite?" She asked.

Vera was starting to get sick of waiting, especially since she could only see the group, she could tell they were probably friends, but apart from that there is no information to be gleamed from this distance. She had to get closer in order to learn anything. Vera, waiting for the right moment when no one is looking, quickly works her way around the rooftops for an out of view place she could grapple to the building next to them, and timing the crossing as to be less likely to be seen in the dusk light.
Upon landing she she carefully gets into position as close as she can to their roof without being immediately spotted, but she can at least hear their conversations. She much as she would rather face them to be able to see, she decides to set up so they couldn't see the glowing light on her helmet, consequently meaning she can't see them easily. As much as she would like to fight them and be done with these people, she would rather not get the negative reputation of randomly fighting a bunch of teens, she needs to know who they are before making a decision of what to do about them.

As Rocket explained the many nuances of the planet and the language spoken by its inhabitants, Kirisvala listened with rapt attention, despite the fact that her poor bases in astronomy, Earth linguistics and other such things made her miss a lot of what was said, as even though she could understand the words perfectly thanks to her linguistic assimilation, there were some things she couldn't quite make sense of. To put it simply, the nuances of language and everything it represented were not entirely clear to her, even if the words were simple enough to understand. Either way, by paying such attention, she did manage to get some things from Rocket's lecture. They were talking something called English, the planet was called Earth, the galaxy was the Milky Way and these people have been around for quite a while, though not as long as the Hadrians apparently, or so Kiris thought, though she would've had to make some conversions to account for the differences between solar revolutions here and solar revolutions back home, something for which she had neither the ability nor the interest necessary.

She also learned that humans were violent people, something that she could see easily, considering the variety of weapons they had available to defend themselves with, even if they were like comparing a rock to a firearm when placed against Rantu technology. However, she didn't think of this as a bad thing. Hadrian society was quite violent as well, but they had made lots of pretty things, as had these humans.

"That was pretty interesting." The magician girl said, pausing as if to finish assimilating all of the information she had received.

"But!" She continued afterwards. "I didn't mean 'talk with your body' as in 'move your mouth to speak'. What I meant was... um... you know how some people raise their fists in the air when they're angry? Or how they move their faces in certain ways when they feel certain emotions? Or how they hunch over when they feel bad and they stand upright when they feel good? They're talking with their bodies. But you don't do that. That's what I'm asking." She said, hoping that the robot would understand. He was pretty smart, and Kiris had no doubt of that anymore, but instead she feared that her rudimentary explanation wouldn't be sufficient for him to understand the question.

"Alright then, a steak with fries it is." Gilbert nodded. He gestured for the waiter to come over, which he did rather nervously, though the young man simply ignored it and ordered Aru's dish, along with a hamburger for himself, as saving the universe and then reconstructing the world had been rather tiring for him; he suspected he might've tapped his stomach for some extra energy while doing that, but he couldn't say for sure. At least he hadn't messed up his body in an attempt to fix everything else.

Turning back to Aru once the waiter was gone, he smiled at her comment about saving the world twice. "Technically, I didn't deal the killing blow either time." He pointed out, reminding the blue woman of the role she had played in the destruction of both the cosmic arsonist and the Time Demon, though he couldn't help but feel like something was amiss about that former enemy. However, he decided not to think about it.

"Memories, you say?" He asked. Now that was a bit of a touchy topic, if only because he had no idea what the hell he was supposed to say. "Well... my actual life began more or less when I got to Gotham. I think I had been actually here since earlier, but the point where the false memories stopped was... traumatic, so, the part between then and the moment I got here is just... noise." He explained. "But I'm getting sidetracked with gloomy stuff. You ask for any memories I like? Well, there's not much to pick from, but I don't want to sound cliché, so... You know Batman? I got to visit his cave once. That was pretty cool." He smiled, a bit sheepishly, aware that the story was a bit childish.

"You... are moving a bit too quickly with this relationship, you know?" I muttered.

"I... I..." Wait... Crap. The energy meter is at an all-time low. Even if I drop the Influx form and head back to normal at this exact moment, I'll need to recharge for a long period of time. Shut myself off to preserve energy. I held onto my head, as if I was having a migraine, and the white aura around me quickly faded. "Don't... worry... I'll get back to you later..." I lost control over my body, and quickly swirled down towards the ground, pulled by the planet's gravity.

Katie sighed in relief and hugged Cora back, feeling the dust and clothes. She smiled. "It's okay..." She frowned slightly, breaking off the hug only to check Cora to make sure that she wasn't injured. "You're not hurt? Right? You're okay right?" She asked, a twinge of fear to her voice. She could never have what happened to Eric happen ever again.

When Xyri began moving her giant hand towards Jamal, he immediately considered that maybe it wasn't a good idea to agree to the hug, as he expected her to pick him up and then essentially smother him with he giant size. He breathed an internal sigh of relief however, when her hand landed on the roof instead of grabbing him, and a smaller version of her emerged from the hand. "I hugged someone for the first time before today." She remarked with some joy, gently releasing Jamal. It was the smaller Xyri speaking now, not the larger one. She sighed slightly as she bent slightly so she could see Jamal, noting that he was about two thirds her height. She noted also that he was rather tall for a human. "I think I like it. I can understand why it brings comfort." She remarked.

Hannah gasped with joy, smiling widely. "Heck yeah!" She spoke, nearly jumping for joy, she settled for bouncing on her heels slightly from excitement. Her inner child freaking out at this point.

Harvey rolled his eyes. "You're, like, sixteen. Isn't it a little wierd-"

"Shut up Harvey." Spoke Hannah, to which Harvey did shut up. She then turned her mind back to Sarah. "How are we going to get there though? I don't think they have one in Gotham."

"Mayla taught me." Spoke the golden-haired Rainborn currently standing next to Craig, as if answering a question not yet asked. It must've sounded like a fairly simple task, but if Craig paid any attention he would notice that this wasn't the case at all, considering how Etla was wearing a rather dirty apron over her usual white top, giving some insight as to the nature of the natural disaster that had transpired in the kitchen.

Still, at least the sandwich looked fine.

"I know you humans can't just go on indefinitely without sustenance, so here. Eat before you do any of your crazy tech stuff." She insisted.

Ihra then walked in, having spent all night staring at the stars. She sighed. Feeling miserable and homesick. She had spent yesterday being beaten by a Red Man, then following her sister around as fights went on. She wanted to help, but her core made it rather impractical. Now she was just feeling rather down. She had completed one objective of coming here at least, so there was that. But in doing so she had found out it would likely have been much better if she had stayed home. Her insecurities niggled at her. Though a new urge came to her as she took out the vial of Hulks blood. She stared at it. The radioactive substance keeping her attention for some reason. Perhaps if she used this... she wouldn't be so weak anymore... and she could find that Red Man and...

She sighed and put it back, then walked over the Etla and Craig, she gave a small, weak smile. "Hello" She spoke. Then looked at the orb in Craig's hands. "What's that?"

She smiled at the clerk and placed Tomia down on the counter. picking her off her head. "There you go, what flavour do you want?" She asked, tempted to lean on the shop but she might actually break it and a lot of other things if she did. She looked at the pictures of ice cream they could have.

Meanwhile. in the distance there was a bright light in the sky, almost starlike.

Tomia continued to babble as she scanned over the list of flavors, giggling as she pointed at her favorite one.

" Chocolate!" To,is shouted, bouncing up and down as she waited for Claudia to pay. Mid jump, she paused slightly, looking off int he direction her Fathers house was. While she was a child, she could still slightly sense the different ways her Dsd powered up. When he trained he did it in a way that made it like a fire, but when he in anger or distress, it was like a massive beacon. Frowning, she tugged on Claudia's pant leg.

" Whys Daddy powering up like that? And what's that light?" She babbled

"Powering up?" Asked Claudia as she turned around, handing the chocolate ice cream to Tomia and licking her own vanilla flavour. She then looked up at the light, she paused for a moment. "I have no idea... is it getting bigger?" She asked. She was actually wrong. It wasn't getting bigger.

It was getting closer.

Suddenly a large starship apeared out of nowhere. From out of it, several squid like beings appeared. They charged Claudia and Tomia, the former of which frowned. She stepped forward. "Stay close Tomia. I'll deal with these guys." She remarked.

" M-Miss Claudia." She trembled. " What are these things?"

She wanted her Daddy, a lot. If he was here, he would have saved her and whisked her away to safety liek he always did. But he wasn't here, he was hundreds of miles away, powering up for work reason. All she had was Claudia, who was strong, but wasn't her daddy. Sobbing now, Tomia huddled under the table, gripping the support bar.
