Jenny had made a run from Cyberlantern's task force once they tracked her to Metropolis. She had made it all the way to Jump City. The Riddler had found a good hiding place to resume-whatever it is he does. Now her quest was to find Superman, Deathstroke, and Loki. However, something was attacking the city. A big green monster was rampaging the city. She felt it her duty to help, something that didn't feel natural to her. She ran to where the monster was, then fired her heat vision at it.
Metropolis
"The girl is clever," Darren said, shaking his head, "I've chased her here, and now she's vanished again."

"Actually, no," his assistant replied.

"What do you mean?"

"One of our Jump City informants saw her not long ago."

"Looks like the operation is headed to Metropolis," Darren said, smiling.

"What is this? Lemme go!" He shouted and shook his arm at several hundred miles per hour attempting to get it free of the green goo. When he tried to use his other hand to free the trapped hand, it got stuck as well. He wasn't nearly as good at phasing through through matter like his father was, when he tried it, he kept blowing things up. He once did it in water and it boiled. He hoped that whatever was gripping would release him. So he vibrated both his arms as fast as he could in order to get them free of the goo.

Jenny succceeded in pissing the giant thing off. While it had been mostly calm when she was attacked earlier, these little things were actually starting to hurt her. Xyri groaned in pain, some of her shredded biomass from the assault of laser reformed back into two lions, who scampered off in fear. She lots about 10 feet of hight. She grunted in frustration. All she wanted to do was eat. She then felt the speedsters struggles, though was strong enough to resist them at this point. They irritated her though, as everyone began attacking her. She grunted in frustration. "Leave me alone!" She shouted, then looked around. Survival was her first priority. "Need to get bigger..." She muttered, though some of them would be able to hear that. She had fear in her eyes, and seemed just about ready to panic.

She forced the speedster up her leg and to her hands. "Fine! You want to get out! Here!" She tossed him away, slime coating him as he flew away, likely sticking him to whatever place he ended up.

Then the roar came and Xyri found herself stunned. She turned around, spears cutting her. She made her own primal cry of anger. "Need to get BIGGER!" She said once more, looking around for her assailant, she had little time before she was suddenly attacked once more.

The Templar High Council wrote:As she watched Kiris, Rikki leaned into Mars's ear and shouted above the noise. "I think Rocket is right! We can help! I can try to stop the big green lady right now!" Rikki floated up over Kiris, her hair beginning to change hue as patches of sky blue and rosy pink flowed through her white locks. From her hair, what looked to be colored wind flowed around Xyrixia, eventually coalescing into a translucent barrier of auroras. It wouldn't hold Xyrixia for very long, but at least it would slow her down.

Xyri saw this translucent barrier. She was begining to be scared. She couldn't slip out. Fear strengthened her as she slammed on the cage with considerable force, cracking it open as she hopped out of the cage again. When he landed she was closer to the whales and the ground shook as she landed. Then she began running, bounding towards the aquarium with more speed... Getting closer to the big whales...

A quick scan of the person in front of me yielded some interesting results. She was not an Earthling, nor seemed to be built by one. You know, one could get this information by rationally analyzing the fact that she came here in an asteroid. Or a spaceship, or whatever is the cool thing nowadays. But I digress. The nanorobotic regeneration she used also picked up my attention. Self-repair. Why don't I have that?

All in all, she looked like she was of mechanical origin, and especially following her direct and nigh-program wording. "You know, that's not the nicest thing to say to someone you've just met. I tried it, got slapped." I replied to the command. "I'm a Celestial Android, built by gods in a human's image. Class X. If you're wondering how you're still alive with this information at hand - I'm not with the others. A bit of a loner, though. Can I ask questions now?"

Idiot. That's not how you do a good first impression to a woman.

Eldara
Eldara analysed the so-called celestial android for a moment as her database extracted and stored what data it could from his introduction. She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned the danger posed by his species and smirked,
"Yet I'm the one who needs to work on their introductions? At least I didn't tell you I am a threat to your life."
She said as her social and emotional programming worked in tandem, producing a mimicked blend of sarcasm and condescendance. Her cyber mind has eased up the restrictions on her synth now that the important data had been gathered.
"Sure, ask if you must. But I probably won't be able to answer a lot of your questions."
She said and turned back to the ship tearing off the control that had once been used to open the ship's door. She bit into the metal, her own jaws slicing through it easily as it dropped into her nanite production area. She continued to munch on the door control like a biscuit as she waited for Frank to begin his questions.

Frank Mayhem

"Alright, in order - remember it:

What?

The hell?

How?

Why?

Who?

Is this real life?

What's your problem?

Sequence over. You can see that I'm confused, and alien androids falling to my backyard in a comet is not as common as stereotypes about Earth may lead you to believe." I frowned, then continued. "Oh, and if any of those is answered with 'to destroy' or 'to kill', I'm sick of this and I'll immediately return the favor."

The Starlight wrote:"And what did these gods offer?" she asked, a bit surprised that the Vokoronians, at their levels of power, had worshiped other beings. She turned, looking upon the Duke, eyebrow raised. "Welcome to Asgard, Duke Meloku," she said. "How long have the Vokoronians been split into separate collectives, and what is the difference between them?" she questioned both of them.

Valancy grasped her neck as Cora took him on, grateful for the intervention. "Now that really was impolite, she commented to no one in particular. Raising an eyebrow as Floyd ripped off his armor and charged, "Thanks for making my job easier," she said with a smile, waving a hand, vines wrapping around him and dragging him back. She had apparently unlocked the full power of chlorokinesis, so that was nice. The vines pulled his arms back, tying them tightly, and then Valancy had them tie his body to a pillar. Knocking him out with a swift punch, she turned to Katie and Cora, oblivious to what had happened between them. "Well then. I'll call the authorities and then we can go home," she said. "Good work guys."

"Going rogue?" Elena scoffed. "You were already that. Go ahead, I really have no time for this. But a hint of trouble from you two and I will bring you down hard." she firmly said, turning her back in a dismissive manner. "Now, where were we?" she asked the Commissioner.

"I'd rather we continue this in private, away from self proclaimed rogue aspects." The Commissioner scowled pointedly. "Our next ferry to Blackgate leaves in four minutes. Care to finish our discussion on the way there?" He turned towards the Reclaimer and Boxer. "Reclaimer, take your squad and escort our visitors out. Boxer, you're relieved from Dispatch. Your replacement is already there. I want a tally of our munitions capability. Once you finish with that, oversee the Officer list. We have many names to add from Recruitment and..." He paused for a moment, clenching his fists. "A lot of good names to remove."
"Yes Sir." Boxer replied somberly.
"I'll try, Sir." Reclaimer replied, waving an arm towards a nearby group of men. The six officers, who looked more like soldiers than police, formed up around him. He looked at the two visitors expectantly, motioning slightly towards the civilian exit.

Lazarus looked at the Commissioner, then to the Bat. He was annoyed that the Bat would choose to work with a bunch of allied gangs yet have a bias against a company known to be capable of dealing with the current problem.

"Fucking moral high grounds, hm?" Lazarus quipped, finally breaking his silence. "The Bat would turn down Knightstone because everyone thinks the problem was made worse with Vannis' death. I get that. Now, though, the same guys are offering to help clean up the mess that you think they made. Besides, what makes you think the GCD is what they say they are?" Lazarus continued with a slightly irritated tone.

"In fact, lets set the record straight." Lazarus said as he looked to the Commissioner. The Butcher's eyes turned red beneath blank white mask - something the people in the room did not see due to the mask appearing to have no eye holes. If this..thing really does work, now's the time to test it Lazarus thought to himself as he prepared to use the Word of God.

"Tell me, Commissioner. Once all this is cleared up, do you intend on ending the GCD? Would you join the GCPD, or would you try and replace them? What's your true intention? Who's to say you won't just control Gotham after all this is said and done? Tell us your plans." Lazarus said, his voice projecting unlike anything the Commissioner has ever heard; but to the other people in the room, he was using his normal voice. The Word was working. The Commissioner felt compelled to tell the absolute truth - to answer the question with utmost honesty. As he finished speaking, Lazarus' eyes reverted back to the original color.

Eldara
Eldara sighed in minor annoyance as Frank interrogated her. Luckily she had time though. Rayertech would not have left the planet yet, they had other things to worry about in the mean time. She looked at Frank irritably as she began answering his questions in order.
"An android crashing to earth in a wrecked escape shuttle.
Not an actual question.
With an escape shuttle capable of traveling through a vacuum.
Because a company known as Rayertech on my original planet is trying to get hold of my blueprints. You may or may not have noticed, but I'm incomplete, I'm a prototype, and they want my tech, I don't want them to have it.
The X-27 Executioner prototype otherwise known as Eldara.
Probably, unless you're capable of dreams or delusions . . . Wouldn't be surprising."
She muttered in response to his second last question. When she was about to answer his last question she entered the ship and returned holding an ancient, scorched satellite.
"My problem is how much space debris your planet has. Seriously not okay."
She replied and tossed the satellite back into the ship before rolling her eyes,
"I don't know any stereotypes of this planet, I wasn't supposed to leave my homeworld. And seriously? You're going to hope that you're talking to an Android that wasn't made to kill or destroy? People only make androids as weapons or for pleasure, they never make us for peaceful means. You ever heard of an android built for space exploration alone? Because where I come from Rayertech and Cratora are currently locked in an arms race. Each building more weaponised androids and vehicles than the other."
She retorted feeling rather annoyed with this android for threatening her twice now. He hardly seemed to be trying to foster peaceful relations.
"And I'm not an alien, I'm just not from around here okay? I doubt you are either so just back off sunshine. If you're done threatening me and accusing me of wanting to crash into this planet with out a single clue about it, would you kindly tell me where we are?"
She asked traipsing back through the snow to the ship as she inspected it, there was still a lot of good tech for her to use, could be helpful once she figured out what she wanted to do.

He suddenly unholstered a pistol, aiming it at Lazarus. "How?!"

Boxer and Reclaimer, seeing their boss in this state, both immediately unholstered their weaponry. Reclaimer's men did as well.

Oh boy. This will be a tough nut to crack.

"Well, at least you're right about all of us being made for destruction. But being made for killing doesn't always mean you're actually bent on killing. A gun is made for murder, but I usually don't worry that any passersby with a pistol is going to try and shoot me. You know, I was just making sure you're not one of those 'DESTROY EVERYTHING, TERMINATOR STYLE' types of androids."

This conversation just isn't going the way I want to. Wait, what way do I want it to go to... None, really. I usually don't bother talking with strangers, so my social skills aren't perfect. "Anyway, 'Eldara', since you asked so 'nicely', you have crash landed on the third rock next to Sol, which the locals call 'Earth'. To be fair, it's a nice place to live, if you like fighting." I raised my right hand to be around in the same height as my chest, and opened my outer hologram GUI. "Currently, we are 70 degrees north and 110 degrees west, in northern Canadian wilderness, but I assume you don't need this specific information. The species here, on this planet, like politeness, by the way, so I recommend shaping up just a little."

Eldara would have sighed if she could, instead she rested her forehead in the palm of her hand while a soft static noise left her mouth. When she looked up at Frank she had a tense smile pasted on her face,
"Threatening someone is not conducive to a friendly polite atmosphere so I don't think you fit in very well with the locals either then. Besides, they're more likely to ask me 20 questions and then try dismantle me to figure out what makes me tick."
She replied tersely, her emotional synth making her feel exceptional annoyance towards this android.
"So, what exactly do you do on this third rock from the sun?"
She asked, letting her stress go for a bit.
"Seeing as I'm kinda stuck here for now."

He'd be lying if he said the first several strikes hurt. The first strike had knocked the wind out of him, and the second and third had forced him to retreat. Dancing around the strikes, Hiroshi sneered as he batted away a strike, drifting under her extended arm. She'd made the unfortunate mistake of telegraphing her strikes after the first few.

Jabbing his fist into her abdomen, he struck again and again, paying her back for every hit she'd landed so far. Sliding back to his full height, a sneer spread across his features as he snapped his head forward, aiming to headbutt her away.

" Those strikes hurt, I'm going to get a nasty bruise from that hit to the gut. But there's one mistake you've made that has hurt you. You're too predictable." The Super Saiyan said, shifting his weight back to left foot and sliding into a defensive stance.

Itaku

Well, sad. Sad for him. I tried to put a witty joke here, didn't work out so well. Hiroshi's revenge punches were tough to take, but I managed to slide back after the first few and avoided most of them. Huh. This isn't going as well as I had expected. But I'm still holding my own.

"I'm predictable, you say? Easy talk when not even 10 seconds have passed. You, however..." I raised my hand, pointing my index finger at the Saiyan. It then immediately flashed in a white color, and started firing a wave of green energy shards. Attack trademarked. Each one flies at hypersonic, or even faster, speeds, and are in the thousands.

If one hits, at best, it'd end up as a bad bruise. At worst... pulverization.

Hiroshi:

The slightest tick, a glance, even a muscle tightening, was a clue for Hiroshi. When she extended her hand and raised her ki, he immedietly knew what she was planning. At first he was confident he could block the attack, until the bolt shattered, hundreds of shards rocketing at him. Bounding upwards he weaved under a few, batting sevwral away with his palm. Twisting like a pretzel in the air, maneuvering his arms and legs to dodge them.

" Kami! We're using ki attacks now? Let me show you mine then!" The Super Saiyan howled, golden energy bursting around his frame, his hands cupped at his core. Lightening rolled off his frame as his muscles bulged, tightening down seconds later as he thrust both hands forward, his form wreathed in golden fire.

"God's Judgement!"

It was almost it possible to hold his ground, his marshaled energy exploding outwards. The tiles beneath his feet fissured, warping and snapping beneath the tremendous power. As his boots skidded back agaisnt the tile, the once clear sky burst aflame with golden light. He could hardly see Itaku as the world warped around his attack.

She wasn't keen on learning an entirely new language just to navigate a strange city that she didn't expect to stay in for a long time anyway.

Hearing Taro's comment, she chuckled some more, his voice amusing her. After composing herself, she replied to the comment with a simple shrug and a confident smile. She said, before looking around for a bit. "Anyway, when do we get going?" She asked.

Lazarus smirked under his white visage. He looked to the Bat. "There you have it, ma'am. When it all comes down to it, this is about the control of Gotham. Call me a cynic, but what I say is the truth, you just heard it from Mr. Commissioner himself. Pick your poison, Bat. Both are willing to help. The Butcher looked at the three men aiming guns at him. "I simply asked you a question, Commissioner. I don't know why you feel compelled to point your guns at me after answering. It hardly mattered, considering that she was probably not going to go into any of the aforementioned locales, and in the unlikely event that she did, she hoped Akari, Masami or at least Taro would be able to translate for her.

"I have no reason to listen to anything that I don't find satisfactory, do I? But anyway, my name's Garnet, Garnet Greyson, monster hunter extraordinaire I suppose." She said, before looking around for a bit. "Anyway, when do we get going?" She asked.

Taro
Taro's smile widened when he heard the news. This human was interesting, that much he had determined from the fight, but to meet another monster hunter was strangely pleasing.
"Ah, a fellow hunter. It is good to meet you Garnet-sama. I have met quite a few brave human warriors along my time, but very few were equipped to deal with the supernatural world."
He said and chuckled to himself,
"A thousand years and suddenly my profession is not so unique. It would seem Azami found herself the perfect bunch of strangers to deal with her problems."
The fox replied with a warm smile, his nose having finally adjusted to the urban smell.
"How did you stumble into the world of monster-hunting? It doesn't seem there are clans of demon hunters anymore. Some things of my time have faded, but this new world is interesting."
He said cheerfully as he returned to the edge of the roof, watching over the city.

Eldara

Frank Mayhem

"I don't think it was much of a threat as much as it was a warning. Also, you should try to not eat your ship in front of people, it's weird." I spoke, then folded my arms and leaned back a bit. I noticed that Eldara was getting more and more annoyed, but I didn't take it into heart, really. To be fair, it's not my fault she's angry, it was just a miscommunication. Maybe I should try a different approach...

"What I do here? Not much. I don't need to eat, sleep or have fun to survive, so most of my day is quite open. Though, aside from training my abilities and just strolling around, I don't happen to do much in my spare time. Sometimes, when there's a crisis on Earth or an invasion, I help the more... flamboyant heroes in protecting their homes. Also, there are some people that I would rather see pounded into mud than alive and happy, so preparation for kicking their ass also takes up time." I coughed. Like that other android girl...

Itaku

Well. This isn't going well. Apparently, Hiroshi is one of those people. The ones who use their power for constipation to the maximum and always name their attacks, however small. 'God's Judgement'. Certainly not the most humble name for an energy beam. You have to be a god for that name to make sense though. I stood in a defensive position and raised my left hand, moving it back a little and thus pointing my shoulder at the incoming golden blast. I braced for the hit, but I already had a plan in mind.

Just before the blast reached me, I moved some of my energy to the shoulder and shielded it. Nigh-immediately afterward, the beam struck it, and they both clashed in a flashy fashion. I couldn't even look at what was happening - blinding hazard - but I felt that they were ramming each other. And now... the catch. Literally. During the more primitive days of our race, when we were a planet with never-ending battles between foreign factions, the Herans developed a technique that would allow them to combat and defeat any kind of superpowered enemy. It was later proven to be extremely effective, and worked against pretty much anyone. While it was developed to be used on living beings, I will see if it can be used on energy attacks too.

It's Psycho Threads. You know it. I threw my free right hand forward and released a wave of tiny energy strings. They quickly waved themselves around the God's Judgement Blast and started sucking out it's energy. Whew! I already feel refreshed. There's a lot of power in there-

BOOM!

The Threads did not hold, and the blast, though somewhat weakened, exploded in a spectacular fashion. I was flinged away, and crashed on the tiled ground, next to the edge of the island. Clothes burned... large wounds all over... but I don't feel weak. In fact, the damage did not stop me. I even felt somewhat stronger. With a quick leap, I jumped out of the crater and back into my position, now a lot more dusty and foggy.

"A nice attack, but don't think you'll get away so easily!" I cupped my hands in front of my chest and created a large blue energy ball. I immediately squeezed it between my palms and lifted my hands above my head. Light radiated heavily from the focused energy, and it felt like I was trying to hold the Sun between my hands. They won't hold long.

"BURST MISSILE!" I shouted for no reason and threw the compact energy blast to the air. It immediately turned into a missible shape and flew right towards the Saiyan. It's a somewhat homing attack, but still really powerful.

Masami smiled lightly as she watched the two converce, and Akari had pouted characteristically at Garnet's response. The cat looked forward at Masami, and the fox shrugged. "We have to kill five Oni." She pointed in the distance. "There are five Oni."

Akari sighed and then shrugged. Her two pistols manifesting in her hands. She walked to the edge of the building. "Fine. Let's just get this over with." She muttered. "Oni are such brutes after all..." She remarked, before hopping the distance between the current building and the next.

Masami looked to the others. "We can meet you there if you want, though it might be best if we went in force." She explained, and then followed her sister.

Taro
Taro looked up at Garnet as she explained her situation. It was indeed an odd way to find the world of the supernatural. He nodded in agreement when she spoke of being pursued by the demons.
"Demon hunters have the unfortunate luck of having the only prey which is convinced it can hunt the predator. Some of us choose the life and some are stuck with it. My family has long been a clan of demon hunters, so it was a good thing that I happen to enjoy demon hunting. Well, if you need help with your quest to finish it, I have little else to do in this world than wander, so my blade is up for hire after this job."
He said turning to watch Akari leap over the gap.
"Yes, let's do this. The bakeneko weren't much fun to hunt."
He replied as he hopped away from the ledge and took a run up, leaping the gap in his small fox form and landing next to Akari as his true kitsune form. His glyph glowed as he entered his astral predator mode, looking for the smell of the oni and the magical signature.

Jenny chased after the slimy monster, then whacked its foot with her Riddle cane, and then froze it with her frost breath, then stabbed at it with her trident. "Hey, you!" she yelled, trying to get the thing's attention. She was trying to get the creature to look into her eyes so she could trick her.

Crossing his arms in an X, Hiroshi steeled himself as the bolt impacted his frame, deep gouges being dug in the tiles as it has used him back. Flesh burned on his forearms as he roared, golden fire burning around him as he uncrossed his arms, firmly planting his hands against the bolt. Channeling power into his palms, azure energy exploded from his hands, destabilizing the bolt. It was breathtaking to see, the azure energy shining from beneath and everywhere around Hiroshi, the bolts loosed from the Saiayns palms tearing through the blast, before it detonated, shockwaves rolling off of it and shaking the lookout.

Appearing in front of Itaku, Hiroshi crossed his arms dangerously, a glare leveled at her, his hair no longer wavy and light, now standing stiff and pointing skywards, with a single bang hanging down over his face, lightening rolling off his frame, the shriek of his aura offset by the crackling electricity.

" You're trying to make me waste energy." Hiroshi said, staring seriously into Itaku's eyes.

Itaku

"Well, Mr. Captain Obvious, simply exclaiming the fact won't help you much with countering it." I spoke, smiled as innocently as possible, then slammed my fist towards Hiroshi's abdomen. I didn't bother to check if I hit. Such breaks to look can cost a life. At least, I saw a shockwave appear and rip off most of the leaves off the trees on the Lookout. So that's something.

I immediately moved back my fist and leaped away, while at the same time putting both my hands in front of me and unleashing a barrage of golden high velocity energy blasts. That should keep him away for a while.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Eldara
Eldara perused the surface of the space shuttle while listening to Frank's explanations. She shrugged and turned away from the vessel to the celestial android,
"I eat when I need to. There just happened to be something worth eating nearby. Not to mention this pile of scrap isn't going to be flying anytime soon."
She said indifferently and looked around the snowy wilderness.
"Perhaps you could introduce me to some of the natives? I'd like to learn a bit about the planet I'll be staying on in the mean time. And I'm not really in the mood for an alien invasion right now. Nor do I feel like spending all of my time training."
She said with a chuckle and a shake of her head. Training was pointless for her, she already knew the current capabilities of her frame. She would need to find something new to assimilate if she were to improve herself.
"There isn't some sort of planetary database of knowledge is there? That might be quite useful to access."
She said with a smile, dropping the previous subject of threats and manners. It seemed futile and pointless to argue with the celestial android, he seemed firmly set in his own beliefs. Much to El's annoyance.

"I know the locals about as much as you do, so I can't help much in that department. When I say 'I spend my days training', I mean it." I spoke, then turned my head down and kicked the ground a bit. I guess sometimes having social interaction would be beneficial... Maybe then I wouldn't end upso punch-happy and confident. "I'm pretty sure the Earthlings have that. Just the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarriers and the Watchtower are more than enough information you need. But they are under high security, and I wouldn't bother trying to break into them for someone else. Though, then again, I don't need to eat my ship either..."

"Anyway, say... you said about some company chasing you to here, right? Rayertech, if my short-term memory banks recall correctly?"

" Huh. That attack usually kills people. I killed Garlic Jr. several times with that one." Hiroshi said, crossing his arms and standing still. Taking a few calming breaths, Hiroshi sikently raised his power, his frame obscured for a moment as golden energy rolled off his frame, lightening sparking around him. Staring silently at Itaku, his golden hair waved lightly in the wind, power pulsing through his muscles.

Shes stronger then I thought. If this keeps up, I'll need Ascended Saiyan.

Crossing his arms in an X, Hiroshi steeled himself as the bolt impacted his frame, deep gouges being dug in the tiles as it has used him back. " What's a Captain Obvious?" Hiroshi deadpaned, his gaze losing its seriousness as he cocked his head and stared at Itaku. This fight was quickly becoming a boring affair. He would strike her, she'd get hurt, raise her power strike him, rinse and repeat. He had only needed to power up to Ascended Saiyan for a moment, which was surprising to say the least. Having powered down to Super Saiyan, Hiroshi was sure he could handle anything she threw at him. Even if she did have a small advantage in power.

But Hiroshi had already made two huge mistakes, the first was getting lost in thought, and the second was lowering his guard, making the fist that struck his abdomen more painful than he'd care admit, a bruise exploding across the skin as he nearly folded over. When one of several bolts of energy impacted his frame, the response was immediate, the golden bolts carrying the green clad warrior off into the distance, the bolts exploding in a burst of gold, clouds swirling and dispersing from the shockwave.

" Dont be too excited. This fight isn't over yet! I'm just getting started." Hiroshi said evenly, his form having appeared silently before Itaku, his gaze leveled on Itaku. Before any words could leave Itaku's mouth, Hiroshi disappeared, a small blur of gold being left where he stood. An enormous rang out as Hiroshis boot impacted the back of her skull, the Saiyan flipping over her in a smooth flip. Striking out, Hiroshi struck out at her core with his left hand, while he swung an elbow at her cheek.
