The next few seconds are still rather unclear in my memory. The Saiyan stood up, powered up to the point where I felt actually threatened and then proceeded to lay the smackdown. I found myself on the ground with a lot of pain all over. I hope these seconds don't end up to actually have been hours and this planet is not as innocent as I thought.

What am I talking about? This planet was never innocent to begin with. I stood up, still with some pain in my chin and knee, but nothing scary. "Good one..." I muttered, then clenched my fists. Well, if he powers up, so should I. I have alreade seen what he can do. Punch, fly, shoot lasers, move fast and spew out random phrases from time to time. The aura around me became visible, then bursted outward and increased massively. The ground crumbled as always. Poor flying island, having to take this.

I did not wait or stop to drop a remark or few. That is what he wants. I vanished from my position, then appeared right in front of the Saiyan. Without a moment wasted, I proceeded to unleash a barrage of rapid palm and fist strikes right towards the foe's chest and stomach. I don't think a normal spectator's eye from the side would even be able to process the speed.

Hiroshi:

He'd be lying if he said the first several strikes hurt. The first strike had knocked the wind out of him, and the second and third had forced him to retreat. Dancing around the strikes, Hiroshi sneered as he batted away a strike, drifting under her extended arm. She'd made the unfortunate mistake of telegraphing her strikes after the first few.

Jabbing his fist into her abdomen, he struck again and again, paying her back for every hit she'd landed so far. Sliding back to his full height, a sneer spread across his features as he snapped his head forward, aiming to headbutt her away.

" Those strikes hurt, I'm going to get a nasty bruise from that hit to the gut. But there's one mistake you've made that has hurt you. You're too predictable." The Super Saiyan said, shifting his weight back to left foot and sliding into a defensive stance.

Itaku

Well, sad. Sad for him. I tried to put a witty joke here, didn't work out so well. Hiroshi's revenge punches were tough to take, but I managed to slide back after the first few and avoided most of them. Huh. This isn't going as well as I had expected. But I'm still holding my own.

"I'm predictable, you say? Easy talk when not even 10 seconds have passed. You, however..." I raised my hand, pointing my index finger at the Saiyan. It then immediately flashed in a white color, and started firing a wave of green energy shards. Attack trademarked. Each one flies at hypersonic, or even faster, speeds, and are in the thousands.

If one hits, at best, it'd end up as a bad bruise. At worst... pulverization.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Rikki was spending one of her first days in Jump City at the zoo. Right now, she was staring at a group of penguins on an iceberg, watching them slide and swim around as she laughed. She had some people stop and stare at her, specifically her ears, but for the most part it was just Rikki at the penguin exhibit. Suddenly, she heard yelling from another part of the zoo. A giant green thing was walking towards her on the way to the aquarium. Rikki barely dodged getting stepped on, instead jumping into the air and flying up to the metal person floating around the blob.

"Is this supposed to be at a zoo?" Rikki asked, her hair beginning to glow and her skin turning blue. "I've never seen this kind of animal in a book before, are they only in America?"

Van Zant

"You're scum." The woman spat with venom, absolute hatred and sheer displeasure at ever having known the man that sat lazily next to her on the bench in her words and tone. "You're nothing and you never will be anything, Van. You just...you just need to grow the fuck up." The girl continued, laying it on heavy, the muscled man smiling awkwardly and turning his head side to side, almost in disbelief. "Oh what?! You upset that I'm making a scene?!" The girl further demanded, "You brought me all the way out here to tell me to hit the bricks. I thought we had something, Van. A connection!" She said, angry tears falling from her eyes, but she gathered her things together, slamming them in her purse and abruptly standing up from the zoo's bench. "I hope I never see you again." She sobbed, beginning her walk away from the park bench.

Van replied quickly, though, "Nice to know you, Mandy."

"Burn in hell, scumbag." The girl - Mandy - said furiously, turning back to give Van Zant an outstretched middle finger. The young man exhaled deeply, lowering his head back and letting his face soak up the sun's rays as he thought about all he did today. He and Mandy just weren't working out, and he ended it before it got either of them in too deep or hurt anymore than what it should have. Though, Van was partly amused at her choice of words, but partly upset as well. He dwelt on the things she said, wondering just how much was true. A small voice in the back of his mind called out for him to chase Mandy down, and tell her he made a mistake. Van ignored it altogether as he narrowed his eyebrows, his eyes themselves closed as his face was bombarded by the sun's warmth.

"Grahh..." He said to himself, "Just...gotta have a look around, I don't know." Van continued with his personal dialogue, raising himself from his bench and stretching out his lean, muscular body. It suddenly occurred to him that virtually no one was at the Jump City Zoo anymore - maybe scared off by his break up? Regardless, Van stuck his hands to his sides and began to walk toward the reptile exhibit. Van Zant was a simple man, and the perfect way to keep his interest was to sleep for fourteen hours a day have an impressive set a scales - because the young hero managed to stay in the reptile exhibit for nearly an hour. He watched a Burmese Python sleep on between the branches of a tree longingly, wondering if he should go sleep sometime. "My day off and I decide to go to the Zoo." He noted sourly. But he began to perk up, looking around cautiously, noticing that he was truly alone with the reptiles. Not even a handler or staff member in sight - something was wrong.

Van used his powers in the most subtle and at times ingenious of ways - since his tactile telekinetic manipulation shield extended to anything he was in contact with it, the floor can serve as a locator for others in contact with the ground. Not only that, but even the slightest vibrations in the air that was unknown to any human at such distances could be heard as the air vibrated on his personal force field, giving the illusion of super hearing. Despite that, all he heard was gurgling and squishy sounds, like someone was mixing a giant bowl of jell-o in the zoo, and few if any people at all left in the area, those that were happened to be near the jell-o sounding source. Van needed to investigate, and flung the doors of the reptile exhibit open and flooded the exit with glorious sunlight.

"Well...that explains the sounds." Van noted, confronted with a giant slime monster several feet tall and on the other side of the zoo. Slowly, he could make out other people talking near the monster, but he didn't focus in on the chatter just yet - he lifted himself off of the ground and fly at a moderate pace to where the slime beast was, getting a good view of her path of destruction and absorption from that height. "Even the elephants?! You monster..." Van said harshly, narrowing his eyes and setting his face on serious mode. He appeared in front of the slime girl as she hovered precariously close to the blue whale enclosure.

Rather than attack or belittle the poor thing, Van noticed that the beast wasn't too much of an amorphous blob at all, but more feminine in appearance and shape. Huh. He re-thought his plan, instead of going in and punching all wild, he needed to take a page from the Hero Handbook and try to most underutilized step in it: Ask Questions. So, he cleared his throat and spoke up, "Excuse me," Van yelled softly, "Hey, excuse me!" He repeated, "What're you doing?" He finally asked, holding his hands up to appear less threatening, actually wanting to talk to the girl before rocking her world as Paragon, Hero Extraordinaire.

Etla, too, was eating donuts along with Craig and Ihra. Well, 'eating' was a bit of an understatement, all things considered, since she was in fact devouring them, one after the other, her hunger for donuts bordering on ravenous even though the Rainborn couldn't truly feel "hunger" as such, since they had no necessity for worldly sustenance and thus never truly had to eat. Even then, the blonde girl had been in love with them ever since she had tasted the first one, all that time ago, somewhere in Craig's laboratories. Chocolate, she believed the flavor was called, and it was her favorite by far, so it was no wonder she ate so many of those donuts, her Core burning away the matter ingested almost as soon as it entered her body, the donuts disappearing after going down her throat. Since Rainborn had an infinite energy supply, any strange matter was obsolete, so it was simply destroyed.

After devouring a dozen or so, she leaned back on her chair, letting out a satisfied sigh before turning to Ihra. "They're pretty wonderful aren't they?" She asked.

"Yes, the magic involved in this place is pretty amazing. Even I can feel it, and I've never been the more magically inclined of us." Sarah commented as they stepped into the building, referring to how Samantha was the actual magician of the three sisters. More of a witch, the elder Grimm thought as she chuckled lightly, though of course she didn't mean that derogatorily. Sam was no green-skinned pointy-hatted cauldron-stirring witch after all, she was Sarah's beautiful younger sister and a talented magician. Still, though, the magic involved in the creation of the Devil's Den was intriguing, she'd give it that much.

Arriving at the table, Sarah noticed the superhero cosplayers, but didn't pay them much mind. She was smart enough to know that they weren't the real deal (after all, why would they be there if they were?), but hopefully Hanah would buy into the fantasy and have a good time. Smiling faintly at the idea, the pale woman idly picked up the menu on the table and began flipping through it. "What are you guys going to order?" She asked absent-mindedly.

"Now? Now you're free to do as you wish, Aru'va Kell of the Rantu." Hadrimmelis said while still holding Gilbert in her embrace, though the next moment she finally pulled away, content with having finally met and spent some time with... her son? Was Gilbert her son? She supposed he was, though it was strange to think of a specific creature as having been descended from her. Technically, the entirety of the Hadrian race, not to mention countless other lifeforms and even entire species, were descended from her, as she had been the one to create them, but Gilbert... the World-Dragon reasoned that she thought of him in a particular way because the process through which he had been created her had been more intimate and had gotten her more involved than the creation of any other lifeform, and found the explanation satisfactory for the time being.

"Well, actually, I lie. You're not free, not just yet. There's one more thing to be done first." The scarlet lady spoke, before looking back towards Gilbert.

Catching the red-eyed woman's stare, Gilbert nodded at her, and absorbed the rest of the Time Demon's lingering temporal mist into himself. He knew exactly what his... mother... had meant, and so, he focused, transporting everyone back in their respective timelines, achieving an effect akin to simple teleportation. Suddenly, everyone stood in the dead Earth once again, and there, the Demon Slayer focused once again. Spending all of the stored up time inside himself, he began turning back everything. Slowly, but surely, the world around them twisted and shifted, everything falling back into place until, finally, Earth was alive once more. Yet again he and his alien acquaintances stood in the soil of Gotham, now untouched by Asra's flames and unmarred by the Time Demon's all-consuming rampage. The world was whole once more.

Gilbert then fell to one knee, and Hadrimmelis automatically took a step towards him. Was this what 'motherly instincts' were like?

"I'm fine, m-... dragon. I'm fine." Gilbert said, weakly smiling up at the blonde woman, though he avoided calling her 'mother'. It just felt awkward, even if it was, somehow, true. They'd probably have to sit down and talk that through sometime, but not now, he hoped.

Hadrimmelis let out a sigh and nodded. "Very well." She stated, and then turned towards Aru. "Now then, allow me to backtrack slightly." She said, coughing a bit as though she were clearing her throat, even though that was not necessary at all, before continuing. "Aru'va Kell of the Rantu, you have done a great service to the universe and to us, the World-Dragons, by assisting in our battle against the Time Demon, Ku. As such, I see it fit to give you a reward in return." She said. With a wave of her hand, she called forth the shattered black scale shards that had fallen from her during the battle, and with a simple movement of the wrist, she fashioned them into armor pieces in front of her, before flicking her wrist forward and sending them towards Aru.

"These will guard you. They have a fragment of my power within them, and as long as you wear at least one of them, then light will never bring you harm." She explained, and then patiently waited for Aru to take them.

"Now, I have much to inform, so I will be taking my leave. But I would like to thank you all once again for your assistance." She said, not just to Aru and Gilbert now, but also to Yamirakkelis, Tarasekannú and Ashyandra. "I will be going, so if any of you wishes to follow, feel free to do so. Otherwise, this will be a momentary farewell." She stated, before creating a Serpent Hole and walking into it, though she left it open for several moments after she had walked through, in case Ashy, Yami or Taras wanted to tag along. She wasn't planning on anything in particular, after all, as a separate avatar had already been dispatched to inform Kazayannú of the recent developments.

Still on Earth, Gilbert turned to Aru. "If you'll excuse me, I have to check something real quick." He stated, before pulling away the neck of his shirt to look inside. Much to his wonder, the symbol on his chest was gone. Ku had left his life for good now, and he was incredibly glad about it.

Letting out a sigh of relief, he looked back up. "Alright, so..." He paused, wondering what to say. "...I like your hair." He mentally facepalmed.

Garnet stepped out on the other side of the portal, looking over the city of Tokyo. She was perfectly aware that she was still somewhere in Japan (she had never been to Tokyo before, that was true, but it was unlikely that they'd be out hunting rogue Yokai somewhere else anyway), and yet, the contrast surprised her quite a bit. After all, she had moments earlier been in a rural village somewhere in Japan, surrounded by a forest and close to a temple, but now she was in a bustling city, with lots of movement in its streets. She paused to take in all the sights; it was not often that she had the opportunity to sightsee, and yet, she couldn't shake a creeping feeling of apathy about it all. Something related to her real mission, she supposed.

Nearly unable to resist the urge to roll her eyes at Akari's comment about the dirt, Garnet turned towards her when she asked if they could go towards the least foul-smelling Oni and shrugged. "If that's what you want I don't see the harm. I mean, we were told to go after five Oni, and there's a group of five Oni somewhere around here, but if you want to check what the least stinky one is up to I won't object." She stated.

In a shady, abandoned-looking old back alley, a group of children were rounded up by several gangsters, led by what appeared to be five monstruous creatures whose malice could be felt from miles away. Clearly, they were up to no good, but the children had nowhere to run to, surrounded as they were by armed thugs, and even then, it was unlikely that they'd be able to escape. Crying for their mommies and resigning themselves to their fate, they almost didn't notice at first when a strange sound seemed to fill the air, slowly but surely, distant yet steadily approaching.

<<What the fuck?>> Thought in his native language one of the kids, who was clearly old enough to swear. <<Is that... metal?>>

And indeed, eventually, it became crystal clear to everyone present that what they were hearing was nothing more than the wailing of an electric guitar, screaming out in fury as a solo was played upon it. Eventually, however, it stopped, and as the fading notes reverberated in the air, a voice spoke.

"Kusanagi, activate! Waking World!"

And down from the rooftops came salvation in the form of a disheveled teenager. Though the blood of the supernatural flowed through his veins as much as the blood of a genius, he looked entirely human at the moment. A guitar case rested upon his back, and in his hand, he held a large, ornate sword, lightning crackling all throughout the blade as the blade itself was engulfed by emerald flames, constantly burning and yet seeming to cause no harm to the powerful blade or to its young wielder, who began spinning the sword in his hand for no reason other than to show off.

<<Leave these children alone, knaves, and I will be merciful.>> The young swordsman spoke with much ham, his comment invoking the laughter of every single bad guy in the vicinity, of course with the exception of the five monsters, who stood impassible at the front of the thug forces.

<<Listen here, kid, we don't want to hurt you so why don't you just scram before you get yourself killed?>> One of the gangsters said. Of course, perhaps the presence of a sword with the power of fire and lightning could have been enough to deter them, had they been common troublemakers, but they were in the service of the Red Fang, and they were with the five masters themselves! Plus, they were all armed with firearms. That was always a bonus.

However, no ammount of weaponry could have possibly prepared them for what came next. Suddenly, the most feral instincts of every thug in the vicinity was flooded with alarm and warnings, and though the boy had done nothing but frown slightly at the comment, they could feel the sheer murderous instinct rolling off of him in waves, and this killing intent made them freeze in sheer terror, and then drop their weapons, and then run away from the place as fast as they could, their minds no longer working rationally, but rather simply acting on the fight-or-flight instinct that the boy's murderous intent had triggered inside them. Only he, the five monsters, and the children remained in the alley, the latter because they were not targets for the boy's psychological attack.

<<You're pretty brave, I'll give you that, but I'm afraid I can't let you take these children.>> The boy said to the five monsters who remained behind. Pointing his blade towards one of them, he had the sword discharge the lightning through the tip of the blade, sending it towards the enemy.

He barely had the chance to blink as he noticed the lightning being fired back at him and slamming into the wall next to him. "Crap." Was the only thing he could think of as he stood there, the children running away after being scared by the lightning. "This'll be a tough fight. I didn't expect this."

Suddenly, a noise interrupted the standoff, and the boy held up a finger, as if telling the five monsters to pause for a bit as he fished a cellphone out of his pocket and putting it to his ear. He frowned even further as he listened to the words being spoken on the other side.

"Now is not a good time, mom!" Akihiko complained.

Walking through the streets of Jump City was a teenage girl that made for a very peculiar sight. She was of fair skin, her eyes a scarlet shade and her hair of a pinkish red hue, most of it reaching a bit past her shoulders, though she had a long braid that went all the way down to her hips. She wore a metal armor the likes of which most people in the city had likely never seen before, except in medieval-themed videogames and the like; the point was that it was something completely anachronistic and out of place there. Over this armor, she wore a scarlet cloak, giving her an air of regality.

However, that wasn't what was weird about her.

What was weird about her was something else entirely. To begin with, she had two sets of horns, the first pair protruding from the sides of her head and bending slightly inwards halfway through, while the second pair, growing below the first, was significantly smaller and didn't even reach half the height of the first. Her hands, and indeed most of her forearms, instead of being human-like in nature, were massive claws like hands of dragons, giving the otherwise innocent-looking girl a fearsome air. Finally, a long bone tail protruded from her lower back and found its way outside through a specific hole in the armor, the appendage's length almost equivalent to the girl's full height.

Anyone who looked at her would likely think that she was some sort of particularly warped mutant, or worse yet, an experiment gone wrong; any beauty she had was likely obfuscated by the fearsome claws and horns and tail. Whoever assumed she was a mutant or an experiment subject, however, would be dead wrong, as the girl was, in fact, a Hadrian, an inhabitant of the planet Hadrimmelis and what's more, a member of its dominant species. To her, the humans walking around (or in some cases, running away) were just as alien to her as she was alien to them, but even then, though she might have been the focus of a handful of them, they were not her focus at all. Rather, the world around her as a whole was what fascinated her. Enormous stone monoliths were present everywhere around her, and it even seemed like people lived inside of them! She had never seen that before in her time on the mountain range of the Wynn clan, or in the crystal city of Annriven. This was, in fact, the girl's first visit to Jump City and to Earth as a whole, and it had only been possible due to her finding of a strange machine and a portal in the middle of Annriven, which allowed her to access some sort of portal nexus. The "Devil's Den" it was called, though it didn't seem much like a den to her, and in fact, she didn't know what kind of animal a Devil was.

Either way, she was here now, and she intended to make the most of this experience. During her childhood she had rarely been allowed to leave the mountain range after all, and even when her freedom steadily began increasing, she had never really ventured beyond the bubbling lava fields that surrounded Annriven, but now, now she had the opportunity to explore a whole new world! The girl was quite excited about it, barely able to contain it. She was bubbly alright, much like the lava pits that had claimed many of her siblings, though she was significantly more benevolent.

Walking around the city, she heard all the human chatter around her, her Hadrian mind instantly picking up on the English language and assimilating it completely, enabling her to understand it perfectly. The same happened with a couple other languages that were being spoken in her vicinity, most notably thanks to an old Chinese couple that was arguing on the streets about how Jump City wasn't such a good spot for tourists. At the same time, she saw all the signs, and became able to read and write English as well as a result. Truly, it was quite simple for one such as her to communicate with complete strangers, even when she was in a completely different world, all thanks to the gifts of her race, but even then, she had no interest in communicating, not just yet. She wanted to have a little fun in this place, but she wasn't quite sure where to go.

Suddenly, however, something piqued her interest. Namely, the enormous green woman thing that was above the zoo. Well, that was it at first, anyways. Wanting to get a closer look, the alien girl, Kirisvala, decided that walking and running would be too slow. Thus, she began moving with her claws, using them as if they were massive feet, which allowed her to move far faster than she would have been able to move otherwise, her body simply floating gently in the air as it was dragged along by her claws. Crawling in this manner, she was closer to the scene in no time, and it was then that she noticed something far more fascinating that the giant green woman, something that was right there, floating in the air.

"Flying people!" Kirisvala beamed, her eyes gleaming as she noticed them. Barely able to contain her giddiness, she looked around and noticed a nearby stone monolith that was tall enough for her to use to get closer to them. Running up to it, she began climbing up the building, accidentally shattering a few windows in the process, though she meant no harm to the people inside. Reaching the top in no time, she turned to look at the flying people again, noticing that she was much closer to them than before, likely within earshot now.

"Heeeey! Flying people!" She called out to them, jumping up and down and flailing her massive claws around in order to try to catch their attention.

Overmind paused while still relatively far from the scene of action. Jump City is home to quite a few so-called Heroes, isn't it? She scoffed. So much for recruiting the beast. Regardless, this is a prime opportunity to observe these Heroes. The recording may come to be quite useful when I kill them.

With that, she accelerated once more. Instead of directly at the creature, however, she flew above it, out of the sight of most of the Heroes. If any could see her- Well, they were busy at the moment.

Mats and Rocket were kicked aside by a massive gooey foot, and Mars was barely able to stabilize themselves. His attacks weren't doing nay good, and the creature was still aproaching the blue whales. He needed to figure out how to stop her and fast. He thought about the properties of gelatin. He knew it destabilized in extreme heat, and extreme cold as well, but where could he find a source of either?

Suddenly Mars' thoughts were interrupted when suddenly someone spoek to him, they didnt look human, and clearly they weren't familar with zoos. She noticed the girl was pretty though, despite her non human like ears. "No, this thing isn't supposed to be here. I have no idea what it's doing here. Who are you anyway? You don't seem like you're from around here." He said to Rikki. He was surprised she could fly too, and she didnt seem to have boasters on her shoes. Who was this girl?

Suddenly someone else began shouting out to him, calling him "flying people". He turned toward the rooftop where the noise was coming from and saw a humanoid creature with large claws and a bone like tail. "Rocket, do a physiology scan" Mars ordered.

Rocket's eyes lit up again as the scan was conducted. "The subject is of the Hadrian species, native to the planet Hadrimmelis." Rocket said, narrating the analysis. Mars nodded, and approached the rooftop to see what this Hadrian wanted. He had to admit, their physiology was impressive, and looked quite helpful in battle. Mars hoped he wouldn't have another fight on his hands while he still had to deal with the walking bowl of jello.

"Hi, is there something I can help you with?" Mars said to Kirisvala. "You're long way from home, you know that right? Hadrimmelis is light years away from Earth."

Xyri continued forwards, though she suddenly paused when she was confronted with a floating figure. The giant blob girl squinted at the figure. She stopped then... and surprisingly decided to answer the question. After all she saw no reason not to. She looked around and then spoke, her voice magnified by size. She briefly looked to the side of him at the Whales. "I'm hungry." She explained, then paused. "I'm not eating any humans. At least I think I haven't." She explained. Then she frowned. "Your in my way. I want to go to the big blue fishy things." She lazily swatted at Van, though with more force than she intended, in order to get him out of the way.

Talak, since his father left this mortal realm, decided to take up the mantle of Speed Demon. He was from a primitive world so many of the modern things were still shocking and interesting to him. The concept of a "Superhero" was something that he was still grasping. His dad often told the stories of all the villains he fought and defeated. Yet he hadn't seen a single villain any worse than Batroc the Leaper. Whom he almost let get away simply because he couldn't stop laughing at him. If that was what passed for a super villain nowadays, it was going to get old and boring very fast. He was about to just give up and go home when he saw what looked to be a blob attacking a zoo.

He blinked a few times to make sure it was real. It looked like it was, but there were plenty of Earth customs that he didn't fully understand. Like cos-play. He almost hurt someone who he thought was a super villain, but really was just a man in costume. It did don on him that something was up when he saw a bunch of people wearing a similar outfit to his father, but didn't actually have any powers, that maybe it was some sort of tradition to celebrate heroes. Then why the villains too? It didn't make sense to him. When he finally snapped out of his train of thought. He decided to see what the blob was doing. He zipped into the zoo to see that most of the animals were gone. It was eating.

It was clearly a bad guy. Or so he hoped. People were yelling and running away, so he had every right to think it was. "Hey! Um..." He started but really didn't know what to say. So he did what came natural: He tried punching the goo at hundreds of times per second.

Alex and Naja

"Hold on..." Alex said and put a barrier around Okarot. "It works just like the one I used on myself. Any energy you vent will be used to make the barrier stronger. Any excess is sent to another dimension." He explained as Superman already took off towards the Watchtower. By the time he got there, Alex had just teleported the three of them into it. Alex escorted Okarot to a containment unit designed for high levels of energy. "Now. Provided you don't explode within then next minute. I can try to see what's going on with your body. The League will be doing their thing too." He said and floated just in front of the barrier and closed his eyes to meditate.

Naja sat down from the outside, with Superman, using her powerful eyesight to scan Okarot for strange anomalies as well as running various scans with extremely powerful computers. "His cells in that glowing arm are just bloated with energy..."

"It's too much for his body to handle at one time." Superman agreed.

Alex used his potent universal awareness to try to discern what was happening to him. There wasn't anything exact, but he had a rough idea of what was happening to him. "Saiyans are, typically, emotionally dry. They are relatively static in terms of their personality. Okarot however, has had many changes of heart. Saiyans are also empowered by strong emotions. No matter what they are. It appears that the fight with Superman caused some conflicting ideals in your mind. You did things in the fight you never did before. Asking for help, admitting defeat. The easy version is, your emotions created a new transformation. Sort of. It was created by your negative ones. Which are typically much more unstable. Hence your body unleashing more power than it's capable of actually of withstanding."

With his arm suppressed Alex's shield, the fire like energy began to recede, until it was gone. But, as it disappeared, and his hair returned to normal, the Saiyan let out a sigh of relief. Despite his armor being burnt off on his torso and right arm, and his skin being blackened where the energy had been, he felt better almost immediately. But, in his mind, he was still distressed. Not simply by the pain, but by this new power as a whole. It was not voluntary choice of his, but a mere reflex to transform. And, the energy that he was emitting was simply unreal. It had only taken over his hand and forearm when he used it, and he was able to incapacitate Superdoom with a single punch.

Returned back to normal, he once more had use of his normal Ki restored, and channeled it to his burn wounds, allowing them to heal. But, something ailed him much more than his injuries at the moment. The energy burnoff caused by the transformation had left him absolutely starving. He suddenly pounded his fist against the door of the chamber which contained him, "Alex!", he yelled, "Let me out of this thing! I need something to eat!"

Talak

"What is this? Lemme go!" He shouted and shook his arm at several hundred miles per hour attempting to get it free of the green goo. When he tried to use his other hand to free the trapped hand, it got stuck as well. He wasn't nearly as good at phasing through through matter like his father was, when he tried it, he kept blowing things up. He once did it in water and it boiled. He hoped that whatever was gripping would release him. So he vibrated both his arms as fast as he could in order to get them free of the goo.

Alex and Naja

"I would suggest getting that arm and leg looked at first..." He said and opened the room anyways. "And I would try to keep your head on straight. If this gets any worse when we're not around, you could kill yourself." Was it pointless to warn a Saiyan of something potentially life threatening? Yes, but at the very least he had to say it.

"He seems healthy. For the most part. Just pain from the burns. We have a mess hall, feel free to take what you need. It's the least I can do since you helped me out." Superman offered grossly unaware of the appetites of Saiyans.

"Speaking of which. Now that muscles is feeling better, you owe me." Naja said pulling Alex aside at first looking rather serious, but then her expression softening to a more playful one. "But... You did save my life too. So we're almost even."

"Almost?" He asked. "Hey Okarot, catch you later. I've got some... Stuff to do." It had technically only been two days since Naja saw him, but it had been over two years to Alex. And he did owe her an explanation at the very least, but given what she was doing, it seemed that what he was doing for the last two days was not what she was after at the moment.

A quick scan of the person in front of me yielded some interesting results. She was not an Earthling, nor seemed to be built by one. You know, one could get this information by rationally analyzing the fact that she came here in an asteroid. Or a spaceship, or whatever is the cool thing nowadays. But I digress. The nanorobotic regeneration she used also picked up my attention. Self-repair. Why don't I have that?

All in all, she looked like she was of mechanical origin, and especially following her direct and nigh-program wording. "You know, that's not the nicest thing to say to someone you've just met. I tried it, got slapped." I replied to the command. "I'm a Celestial Android, built by gods in a human's image. Class X. If you're wondering how you're still alive with this information at hand - I'm not with the others. A bit of a loner, though. Can I ask questions now?"

Idiot. That's not how you do a good first impression to a woman.

Eldara
Eldara analysed the so-called celestial android for a moment as her database extracted and stored what data it could from his introduction. She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned the danger posed by his species and smirked,
"Yet I'm the one who needs to work on their introductions? At least I didn't tell you I am a threat to your life."
She said as her social and emotional programming worked in tandem, producing a mimicked blend of sarcasm and condescendance. Her cyber mind has eased up the restrictions on her synth now that the important data had been gathered.
"Sure, ask if you must. But I probably won't be able to answer a lot of your questions."
She said and turned back to the ship tearing off the control that had once been used to open the ship's door. She bit into the metal, her own jaws slicing through it easily as it dropped into her nanite production area. She continued to munch on the door control like a biscuit as she waited for Frank to begin his questions.

Charmera wrote:"Yeah. That would be bad." The Kitsune spoke, smiling a she saw tokyo in all it's glory from atop an old building. She actually quite liked this city, despite the fact that most Kitsune weren't fond of cities, being the nature lovers they were. She sighed. "Akari, did Auntie Azami say anything about where we could find them?"

Akari got up, sighing as she dusted herself off. "Ugh. All this dust is clinging to my suit! And I just had this one dry cleaned!" She whined. Then paused. "Well, she did say you could sniff them out. Do you smell anything?"

Masami sighed. Sniffing the air briefly. She sniffed, and then stopped. Then made a face. "Stupid Oni. They stink like crazy..." She complained. "I smell..." She sniffed, gagging again. "Six nearby. One seems to be away from the others. Though I remember Azami said there were only supposed to be five..." She muttered. "And one of them smells slightly less bad than the others."

"Can we go to the less foul smelling one please? If that's okay with all of you?"

Taro
Taro walked to the edge of the building, sitting with his paws up on the edge as he gazed out across the city of Tokyo.
"I . . . Have never seen anything like it . . . "
He murmured aloud, astounded by what he saw. In his fox-form his deep voice was softer, a side effect of the shapeshifting magic. He had been in the modern world for about 4 years and those had been spent in the wilderness or around small, rural villages. Thus he had to witness the full extent of technology on the world, although he had had a rather nasty run in with a particularly vengeful waffle iron. He coughed and sneezed as smells of urban life and pollution assailed his nostrils, causing the lean black fox to go reeling back, pawing at his nose.
"What in Ancestors' names is that horrid smell?!"
He asked as he gagged,
"It is like somebody threw a pot of vegetables on the fire and then covered it in raw fish entrails!"
He muttered as he sat with his forepaws clasped over his nose.
"Well, better smelling would be a good thing right now I'm inclined to agree. Though I don't think it will make much difference. Like our human friend here says, we have to hunt down 5 yokai. Regardless of which we start with."
He said and looked to Garnet with his paws still covering his nose.
"By the way, what might your name be? I don't think it is particularly satisfying to be called human the entire time."
He said affably, his voice sounding slightly off due to his covered snout.

Still waving her large claws around and jumping up and down on the rooftop, Kirisvala's enthusiasm only grew when she noticed one of the flying people turning and heading towards her, as if to talk to her. She ceased to jump around and flail her arms, now that she had finally been noticed by the flying people, and simply stood by and looked on as she waited patiently for the boy in the mechanical suit until he arrived next to her on the rooftop.

Hearing the human ask her if there was anything he could help her with, the Hadrian shook her head energetically before looking back up, a smile present on her face, as it had been all along since she arrived on Earth. "I just wanted to meet a flying person. I had never seen a flying person before! It's amazing!" She said excitedly, raising her balled up claws to her face and jumping up and down again, her large bone tail beginning to rapidly draw circles in the air. She only stopped once several moments had passed, and a light flush appeared on her cheeks.

"Um, sorry, I'm just really happy. I told everyone there were flying people, but they never believed me. 'Kirisvala, stop saying nonesense!' 'Kirisvala, get back to your training!' They'd say all that stuff to me whenever I mentioned it." She said sheepishly, her tail still spinning behind her. "Anyway! I know I'm far from home. I got here through some portals from a place called the Devil's Den, whatever a devil is. But Earth looks like a fun place." She beamed, staying like that for several moments before suddenly dropping the smile, as if she had only just remembered something.

"By the way, what's that big green thing?" The Hadrian asked, pointing a giant clawed finger at Xyri.

"My name's Rikki, I came here from Canada." Rikki stated proudly, beaming at Mars and Rocket. When Mars talked to Rocket and Rocket talked back, Rikki was amazed. "He's made of metal, but he can talk? And why is his name 'Rocket?' I thought rockets were... different?" Rikki had so many immediate questions, she began to forget about the big green thing. Len-El

Gotham is no longer a safe place for the citizens, yet they still stay here. Stupid, or desperate? Who knows? He may never knows the reason. Currently, Len is atop the clock tower, overlooking part of the city, probably, he is bad at geography, and locations. Now he waits, he waits in case something happens for him to jump and finish it off. Sure, there are citizens in dangerous places, but hey, it's not his problem in the first place for them to stay and be dangerous.

Ralph the Rat-16 Yrs-Central City, Earth

Passing through the portal, leaving our new world and the Master Emerald behind, I arrived in a city which was a lot like Station Square on Mobius. There were tall and large skyscrapers around us, streets of grey pavement and vehicles of various colors and sizes speeding and stopping up and down the streets. The Sun's heat was reflected off of the hot pavement as we stepped around a couple small groups of humans who had turned and gave us a more than strange look. Eyeing us as if we were an abnormal sight on their world. As if they have not seen sentient rats and hedgehogs before. I looked to my left, seeing a four way intersection which appeared to be a shopping center. I am sure that Ashley would not mind heading in that direction. And then I glanced to my right. A wide avenue where it lead to the outskirts of the city, as per the street signs revealed.

The problem was, I had no idea where I was. Apart from being on a planet or world somewhere near Max. As the portal would have brought us our somewhere near him. 'Near' is a term used very loosely here.

That being said, I have no real sense of direction to follow. We could either attempt to leave immediately. Or spend some time to get our bearings. I contemplated the question for a moment, leaving Ashley in a awkward silence for a moment. Before I opened my eyes and began to walk ahead of her in the direction of the shopping center. Even without currency for this civilization, we can look around and see exactly where we are. That would be wise.

"I imagine you would like to take a look around here. Lets see if we cannot find out where we are Ashley."

August Carter-13 Yrs-Gotham City

This woman....I could not believe her. I mean, who would want to fight Chorus? Well, to be fair, it seems as if Chorus wants to return the favor. I cannot blame her though, I mean...this lady in the hoodie is acting like such a....that 'B' word I am not allowed to say. Although Sabrina says it pretty often, just not within earshot of our parents. Following Chorus' lead, I was led out of the club along with the others and we exited some type of Portal and ended up in Gotham.

They mentioned we could not fight inside of Devil's Den, and so when we left, that strange hoodie girl led us all to a series of alley ways and eventually inside a large and empty storage building. She then turned to both me and Chorus.

"We can settle the score here if you like. No holds barred, just what any girl could want. So, what will it be? Will I be crushing your wind pipes or stepping on a little boys dreams first?" My face began to turn santa claus red with anger. I responded by turning to Chorus.

"I am your body guard, but...." I tried to explain the situation to her. "Mommy and daddy say I cannot hit a girl though." I for a instant, sounded disappointed, before I thrust a finger into her direction in a threatening manner as I yelled.

"But SHE does not count!" I growled as my eyes squinted off in her direction waiting for the fight or battle or whatever we call it to begin.

Sabrina Carter-18 Yrs-Xavier's Institute

the girl I had found was now lying on a table in front of the legendary Professor Xavier. As he looked her over, as if contemplating, trying to remember something from a distant past. But we both knew that he recognized her. What he was thinking about was if she would recognize him. He...contacted, me after he sensed her awaken in Metropolis. And while I had a good mind to drop her from the top of the Daily Planet after her little outburst, I relented and brought her here. After all, trying to be reasonable, waking up after what could have been years would be hard to absorb. As he went about his work, attempting to restore her own memories which for some reason, was proving a challenge even for him. And that, astonished me. He then obviously read my own thoughts, or I assumed he did, but he revealed that my facial expression was more than enough to deduce my inner feelings for his...guest.

"You dont like her much...do you?"

"You read my mind?" I asked passively.

"Of course not. The scowl is more than enough to get a reading." I gave a deep exhale and shrugged my shoulders.

"Just a rough start I suppose. She nearly split Siberia and when I finally get her conscience and not screaming, she insults me and calls me a idiot. You can say we dont exactly see eye to eye." He then leaned back in his chair, seemingly finished.

"Well, it was a big risk." I had to defend myself, despite knowing he was right.

"I knew what I was doing. So, is she...OK?" I was going to say normal but then realized the word did not really apply to her, or Xavier...or me for that matter.

"She is medically fine. But her memories are...complicated. When she wakes up, she may remember her time with the X-Men, but even back then, she had no real idea of who she was. I am curious though, what was your back up plan in case she reacted as she did in Siberia?"

I took a step back as I crossed my arms and shifted my weight to one hip as if to defend myself.

"Put her back to sleep....roughly." But I then tried to dance around the issue verbally. "But I had gathered enough clues in Siberia to make...what I believed, was a safe assumption on how to wake her up safely. You know the blanks so we can leave it there. What is your plan to get her up?" I asked, deflecting by changing the subject.

"Well, she responds to music. So, as you did, I will supply her with a personal headset, but I will use telekinetic barriers to block her other senses. Ensure that she does not get bombarded with too much sensory information, and only has the music. It is a very curious ability, without music she is in suspended animation, but with it, she needs to be careful not to receive any other types of'input' so to speak. So, starting her off slowly with only the music, and my own voice to focus on. She will only sense what I want her to, for now at least." As the Professor began his procedure, I stood in the back of the room, keeping a minimal distance from the girl who was about to wake up.

Although if it was for her own protection or mine, I was not sure yet. As I awaited to see what the third wake up call would turn out like.

"And what did these gods offer?" she asked, a bit surprised that the Vokoronians, at their levels of power, had worshiped other beings. She turned, looking upon the Duke, eyebrow raised. "Welcome to Asgard, Duke Meloku," she said. "How long have the Vokoronians been split into separate collectives, and what is the difference between them?" she questioned both of them.

Finally she slammed his helmet down, and he growled in frustration. "Enough!" He shouted, putting his hand to his chest that held the power core of the suit and blasted it with energy. It was incredibly dangerous, but the suit came back to life, as he ripped his helmet off and charged Valancy with renewed speed, grabbing her by the throat and lifting her up. "Now you die bitch!" He said to her, about to end her life. Suddenly a fist smashed into his face, and Cora was seen right by him. "No one hurts my friends, no one." She told him sternly, before reaching into his suit and ripping the power core out of his chest.

"Finish him off Valancy!" Cora shouted to her. Floyd had fallen to his knees, and without the power core, his suit was weighing heavy on him. He stumbled to his feet, and began to rip the armor off himself. "I don't need it. I'm strong enough to beat you on my own!" He said to Valancy, raising up his arms again to blast them with kinetic energy.

Valancy grasped her neck as Cora took him on, grateful for the intervention. "Now that really was impolite, she commented to no one in particular. Raising an eyebrow as Floyd ripped off his armor and charged, "Thanks for making my job easier," she said with a smile, waving a hand, vines wrapping around him and dragging him back. She had apparently unlocked the full power of chlorokinesis, so that was nice. The vines pulled his arms back, tying them tightly, and then Valancy had them tie his body to a pillar. Knocking him out with a swift punch, she turned to Katie and Cora, oblivious to what had happened between them. "Well then. I'll call the authorities and then we can go home," she said. "Good work guys."

"Going rogue?" Elena scoffed. "You were already that. Go ahead, I really have no time for this. But a hint of trouble from you two and I will bring you down hard." she firmly said, turning her back in a dismissive manner. "Now, where were we?" she asked the Commissioner.

"I'd rather we continue this in private, away from self proclaimed rogue aspects." The Commissioner scowled pointedly. "Our next ferry to Blackgate leaves in four minutes. Care to finish our discussion on the way there?" He turned towards the Reclaimer and Boxer. "Reclaimer, take your squad and escort our visitors out. Boxer, you're relieved from Dispatch. Your replacement is already there. I want a tally of our munitions capability. Once you finish with that, oversee the Officer list. We have many names to add from Recruitment and..." He paused for a moment, clenching his fists. "A lot of good names to remove."
"Yes Sir." Boxer replied somberly.
"I'll try, Sir." Reclaimer replied, waving an arm towards a nearby group of men. The six officers, who looked more like soldiers than police, formed up around him. He looked at the two visitors expectantly, motioning slightly towards the civilian exit.

Jump City
Jenny had made a run from Cyberlantern's task force once they tracked her to Metropolis. She had made it all the way to Jump City. The Riddler had found a good hiding place to resume-whatever it is he does. Now her quest was to find Superman, Deathstroke, and Loki. However, something was attacking the city. A big green monster was rampaging the city. She felt it her duty to help, something that didn't feel natural to her. She ran to where the monster was, then fired her heat vision at it.
Metropolis
"The girl is clever," Darren said, shaking his head, "I've chased her here, and now she's vanished again."

"Actually, no," his assistant replied.

"What do you mean?"

"One of our Jump City informants saw her not long ago."

"Looks like the operation is headed to Metropolis," Darren said, smiling.

Mars
Mars looked over at Rikki when she said she was from Canada. He didn't remember hearing about anyone with strange ears who could fly in Canada. "I'm Mars," He told her, and then heard her question about Rocket. "He's a sentient cybornetic android, I built him two years ago. His central computer is connected to all the major government databases across the planet, and his armor is duel weave titanium." Mars said to Rikki, pride creeping into his voice. Rocket was a dear friend of his and his greatest accomplishment. He frowned a bit when she asked about his name. "It's personal." He told her simply, not sharing more than that. "But he isn't an actual rocket, at least not yet anyway." Then he turned to Kirisvala who was talking about a number of things that he didn't really understand.

When Kirisvala stopped rambling she asked about the giant blob and Rikki seemed curious about it as well. He raised his eyebrow when Rikki said where she was from it was normal to fly. "I didn't realize there were a bunch of people flying around Canada." He said to her flalty, but didn't harp on the subject. "Anyway, don't worry about the giant blob thing. I'll deal with it. You two should head somewhere you'll be safe." He told them, he didn't want them getting in his way.

"They could be of help to us Mars. Besides, you appear to be at a lose for solutions." Rocket pointed out matter of factly. Mars seemed to fume a bit, he hated not knowing the answer to something.

He turned to the two girls, "Fine, you can help. We need to find a way to slow this thing down and stop it from absorbing anymore organic material. It seems like that's her food source and the reason she keeps growing. Gelatin will destabilize from heat or cold, you two have any ideas where we could find either of those?"

Cora
Floyd struggled against the vines as they restrained him and tied him to the pole, but the strength the mechanism suit gave him was gone, and he was no match for them. "I'll kill you a..." He started to threaten before he was knocked out by Valancy. "Finally he stopped talking." Cora said absently, when suddenly Kylie arrived, bag guys and explosives in tow. "Good job Kylie," Cora smiled, and couldn't help but chuckle at Kylie's attitude about the guns. Cora very much enjoyed talking to Kylie, she had such a fresh and excited attitude about her. "One of you should get Roy, I think Katie took him to one of the rooftops. He'll need some medical attention for sure." She then walked over to Katie, blushing a little and avert her eyes as she did. All she could think about was how pretty Katie was, and her thoughts seemed so loud that she was afraid the others could hear them. She leaned down, and forced herself to look into Katie's eyes. They were about eye level and close to each other, but not as close as before. "I'm glad you're okay Katie, I was really worried something might happen to you. I don't know what I'd do..." Cora'a voice broke off a bit, and was full of emotion. Her true feelings for Katie were rushing to the surface and Cora knew she couldn't deny them anymore.

"You come from a place where everybody can fly?!" Kirisvala shouted after hearing Rikki out. "THAT'S AWESOME! I would love to go there someday!" She said. She was rather giddy by now, and in fact it was pretty much a miracle that she hadn't stumbled and fallen down from the edge of the rooftop by now, though she wouldn't have hurt herself much at all if she had. Hadrians were quite a bit sturdier than most humans were, after all, so it hardly mattered. Either way, even though she was quite excited about meeting the flying people and hearing about a place where there were a lot more of them, somewhere deep inside Kirisvala remembered that she hadn't properly introduced herself yet. She was from the Wynn clan of the mountains, whose only goal for centuries had been to depose the Eternal Ruler of Hadrimmelis, sure, but that didn't mean that her clan didn't value manners, and so, the Hadrian stopped jumping up and down, though her tail continued rapidly drawing circles in the air even though she wasn't consciously controlling it, leaving her happiness manifest to anyone who knew how to interpret Hadrian body language.

"Oh, and yes, my name is Kirisvala, Kirisvala Az Ranwynn, though you can call me Kiris if you want. Nice to meet you, Rikki!" The pinkish-red-haired girl said, sticking out one of her enormous clawed hands as if to have Rikki shake it, not for a single moment stopping to think that humans and human-like creatures would likely find a Hadrian's handshake very, very painful. However, she dropped that as she listened to Mars speak.

Hearing him out, she turned her attention to the giant green blob monster creature thingy. Truth be told, she didn't really understand most of what Mars had just said, about gelatin and such, but she could understand that he wanted her and Rikki to try to stop her, and she was fairly certain that her new friends most likely had a good reason to want to stop her. Thus, she turned back to Mars and nodded at him resolutely.

"Alright! I'll help! I'm sure my magic can do something useful!" She said, before leaning forward ever so slightly and planting her claws on the edge of the rooftop, their sheer size allowing her to reach the ground without bending or kneeling like regular humans would have to. She slowly took in a deep breath, and concentrated, her attention fully devoted to the green monster in front of her, the green giant that was Xyrixia.

However, she then paused, blinked, and exhaled harmlessly, turning towards Mars and Rikki. "Oh, you two might want to move away a little bit. This is going to be a bit loud." She said with a sheepish smile, before turning back to Xyri. She took in another deep breath, and concentrated. And then, she released a massive, powerful beast-like roar that caused the entire building she was on to shake violently, and likely deafened the denizens of the top floors at least temporarily, if there were any people there by that point, anyway. The soundwave was such that it also affected the surrounding buildings, and if Kirisvala had been on the ground at the moment of roaring, she would most likely have caused a miniature earthquake affecting several blocks all around, though of course, it wouldn't be anything too destructive. As the air around her reverberated with the sheer force of the roar, suddenly several rainbow-colored shimmering magical spears of light manifested all around her, shooting forth towards Xyrixia at full speed, homing in towards their target as Kiris continued roaring. She couldn't sustain it forever, but she had one hell of a pair of lungs.

"On the roof? I'll go get him." Kylie floated back out the pane-less window, high above the surrounding 10-story buildings. After a bit of scanning with her ring, she found someone asleep on a roof. "Must be him," she said to herself, flying down to check on him.

Fast asleep, this kid didn't look like so much trouble. Actually, if he weren't so young looking, Kylie might have found him attractive. As he was, he looked like a little brother that Kylie never had. "Hey, kid." She said, grabbing his shoulder to wake him. "Roy? I'm here to pick you up. I think you want to be awake to say thanks to Katie and them."

Roy
Roy's eyes opened slowly as he began to regain conciousness. His head hurt like he'd been hit with a bag of bricks, but he saw a girl standing above him and heard her speak to him. She looked around Katie and Cora's age, and she was quite attractive as well. He had no idea who she was but his memory started to come back to him when she mentioned Katie. "Valancy, Katie, Cora, are they alright? The last thing I remember was Floyd using me like a punching bag." He said to the girl who apparently knew the Justice Queens. He tried to sit up, but his battered and bruised body refused as he winced in pain. They rescued me? What about Floyd? He didn't hurt them did he?" He asked with concern, so many questions were running through his mind. He would be torn with guilt if anything had happened to them because of him.

"That... sounds complicated." Rikki said, staring flatly at Mars. "I just see him as a metal person, not all that fancy stuff you said.

"Oh, not everywhere in Canada. Just barely south of the Arctic Circle, maybe as far as Newfoundland. I'm not human, if you can't tell." She gestured to her blue skin, which turned to such a shade after she started flying. "Yes, Kiris, everyone like me can fly. Not all the humans though, just the Saanas. And the birds. Like pelicans. They're funny birds." Rikki chuckled for a second, remembering some of the pelicans she flew alongside over the Hudson Bay. She shook Kiris's hand, noting that they were bony and could hurt if Kiris wanted them to. Kiris then told them to stand back, and then unleashed a loud roar that she said was magic.

As she watched Kiris, Rikki leaned into Mars's ear and shouted above the noise. "I think Rocket is right! We can help! I can try to stop the big green lady right now!" Rikki floated up over Kiris, her hair beginning to change hue as patches of sky blue and rosy pink flowed through her white locks. From her hair, what looked to be colored wind flowed around Xyrixia, eventually coalescing into a translucent barrier of auroras. It wouldn't hold Xyrixia for very long, but at least it would slow her down.
