I remember that match up list! Max and Augustin were supposed to have an epic brawl in the War of Kings, but Finland died.
Off the top of my head, Max and Alex are one. Those two powerhouses have yet to actually meet in the IC - it's crazy, they just run in completely different circles despite being in the same arcs and plotlines. It's implied that Max spies on and knows quite a bit about Alex (also from Max's time as Doom's protege, perhaps) yet Alex probably has only a faint clue who Max was, and that was probably from seeing him on the TV now and again.

Gonna be honest here. With Prep time, Daniel wins easy. But without it, which is normally how these match ups work, it is more even but I still kinda feel like Sentinel has the general edge.
Craig has some comic book worthy amazing tech. Said it, but he is not experienced in combat.
Even without prep, Daniel is a veteran. He has faced monsters, criminals, psychos, titans and demons. That is just a Monday. He also has some worthy tech on his side, arguably little more than Batman. But he trumps instincts, experience and skill. While Craig really only has tech from my view.
I say Daniel wins.

I have a few, but not so sure that they have not been done yet.Zarkenis Ultima wrote:

If you want a hint, and I hope I'm not giving it away too badly here, it's from Smash Bros.
Thats why, I actually own Smash Bros for Wii U but I am actually not a big fan of the franchise. I know it is good, but when it comes to Fighting Games, Street Fighter is my one true love.

Charmera wrote:Yeah! That should work.
Liberty VS Etla too.

Nightmare can't even touch Lula if she doesn't want him to, and even then she can only die with the death of every sentient being. Including herself and Nightmare.
Depending on Nightmare's telepathic resistance, it just amounts to waiting for the apocalypse.

Ah, well then. Damn it, I wanted someone to guess.
I've never been one for fighting games myself, I actually like Smash because it deviates enough from the genre with its platformer elements.Charmera wrote:Yeah! That should work.

The Star Core would be a good match to Liberty, I'd say.
See, this is why Cores are great. They're the perfect excuse for a justified variable power level.Charmera wrote:Balance for whom?

Well I was just saying because he kinda has Multiversal+ as his Durability.

I'm wondering, I turned it into a Core, what's your excuse?
But anyway, I think her with just her current powers versus the Star Core would actually be a better match-up. Not sure if you plan the Sentry Serum change to be permanent, but yeah.

Her programming is advanced enough to analyze the serum, then use the power from it to synthesize it's effect. Though she won't be able to reproduce it due to the sheer power needed.
She's biologically surprisingly close to human (merely her parts are made of metal), so there's that too. (Remember how I mentioned how her reproductive system... works?)![]()
I feel that would work best, I plan for her to have the Sentry power level and her normal power level.
I mostly plan for it to be used for her going crazy and starting to take down every government in existence until she's stopped.
. And, if she does go and do that, it might be a good opportunity for them to face off.

Ah, makes sense. I was just poking fun,. And, if she does go and do that, it might be a good opportunity for them to face off.
Also, I think a fully equipped Garnet armed with the awakened forms of her artifacts could very well match some of the stronger characters here, but it'll be a while before we get to see that.
I think a Gilbert versus Chorus might be interesting too.

Sure. Though it's less that time is stopping in Chorus' case, but her brain is being sped up to incomprehensible speeds for a time.

Well in Garnet's case it would be a bunch of pieces of equipment with different abilities rather than sheer power either, though the awakened artifacts do pack a punch (they're based off of the Grand Abominations I've mentioned several times by now, each of which could supposedly end armies on its own).
As for the match-up, well, I wasn't saying it because of the time-stopping, really. I mostly just thought it would be interesting, though then again, it might not be so fun given Gilbert's indefinite Rewinding, unless we count the first death as a loss.

I'd imagine so.
Chorus will likely have a decent amount of raw power herself, though most of it will be speed.
That does bring up an interesting question. What power would Chorus gain on his death if he were to die? Or even be wounded? It'd have something to do with his soul...
I'm now kinda imagining a Madoka scenario where the more times he rewinds the more powerful whatever ability he grants gets.
Likely an impossible scenario but kinda cool.
. She likely wouldn't gain time powers, though. Those come from the Time Demon, and she's not hurting the Time Demon. She'd gain something else, but spoilers.

Well, I dunno. My thought is that the rewind would technically remove his death at her hands from the timeline, negating any power gain. Same with wounds.
Now, that's my thought, and if you wanted we could arrange something different. It would be pretty cool if she gained stronger powers the more she killed him, like she was stacking Gilbert souls or something, though she'd have to have one hell of a grudge against him or something. She likely wouldn't gain time powers, though. Those come from the Time Demon, and she's not hurting the Time Demon. She'd gain something else, but spoilers.

Well, she'd likely forget that she had done so. Until Gilbert does something that changes the time stream, she keeps attacking.
This could be a good idea for an arc or side plot or something maybe... We should develop this over TG or something soon.

Well that's not how it works. If you read his intro, the crook knows that he was supposed to be dead.
But yeah that would be fun. Feel free to fire a TG whenever.
On that note did you get the next part of the TKaG post?

Hmmm... We'll have to see what we can do about that.
Sure. We could perhaps flesh this out into something.
I think I did though it may be best if you sent it again.
