It's less of that "I need another character to help" and more was a "if you want you can help with the idea".

Well, yes, I would like to. I was just saying, Adrianne's my only free character at the moment (the whole multiple avatars thing helps), but if you're fine with it, then yes, I'd like to. :P

Cool then, any way our characters may have a (bit) of a history together (either with CeeCee or DeeDee)? Because the way the Devil's Den is going to be made is by pulling in a lot of favors they both have. Tha main thing CeeCee and DeeDee lack is portal creation and someone to help DeeDee focus her magic.

Well, I don't really think so. Would either of them have ever gone into space? We're talking about a planet-sized dragon here.

Regarding portals though, yeah, she can definitely help with that. Maybe with the magic too, if you think some positive mental influencing would help.

Maybe, and no they haven't been to space yet, but maybe by asking a favor to "invented person X" they get put in to contact with your character then?

Or has one fo your Avatar's ever visited a demonic realm? Because DeeDee loves going there when she doesn't have anything good to blow up.

The demonic realm thing sounds more feasible, yeah. Maybe they could've met there.

DeeDee's used to being there alone besides the demons she has a contract with, so she'd defenatly be interested in anyone she would've meet there. (PS almost 2 AM for me so not going to happen now though ^^)

Yes. But unrestrained Alex + Nightmare is much different.

Yeah, Alex relies on his regen quite a bit. Which contributes to him not being able to fight someone equal to him at full power. He will let them hurt him so he can muster the will to let the power out.

I see. That makes a lot of sense. I guess no Nightmare powers then.

Still, will empowerment + anger empowerment. That should be interesting in fights. -nods-

Nightmare is a separate entity. It's not part of Alex's main powerset.

Yup. It would be a very interesting fight. And a destructive one at that.

Indeed.

Alright. Since I've got some free time at work. Here's my opinion on the top 5 most powerful characters from strongest to... Less powerful but still pretty powerful.

1: Transcendent Killian Roth. Given his new mental state and ability to control all forms of motion, Killian is almost unstoppable. Having taken out two galactic level beings with a minimal amount of effort, there are very few forces in the universe capable of lasting longer than he wants them to.

2: Valka Silverhand. Holy cow, Star finally got his hands on the most powerful Asgardian thingy. The Odin Force. Now called the Valka Force, she is now the All-Mother and Skyfather(mother?) of Asgard. With seemingly limitless potential and thousands of years worth of combat expertise, Valka's only weakness seems to be her lack of experience with her new powers.

3: Mad Max. The Mad God himself absorbs my number 3 slot. Capable of absorbing pretty much all forms of energy and then using it however he wants, Max is not only almost impossible to harm, he also quite intelligent and ruthless. Having killed Metron for his Mobious chair and then turning an entire city into a Multiversal life raft, tempting the Mad God is not something that should be taken lightly.

4: Alex/The Golden Guardian. Alex was an experiment spearheaded by Doctor Doom himself in creating the perfect weapon. And boy did they succeed. Alex has vast amounts of energy that he can use for flight and fight. The best part is Alex can increase his power exponentially simply by getting revved up for a fight. Powerful enough to break Galactus' Heralds like smashing bugs, and break through his shields like they were never even there. The Golden Guardian is a powerful enemy only held back by the fact that he is unskilled with his full power.

4, I count 4. And no Sentinel? Atria be trippin cuz. 8)

I wrote that on my phone and was cut off before I could get out five. People need to stop spilling shit. That and I couldn't remember a 5th character powerful enough to compete. Elta and Naja are pretty much the same as Alex so they don't count.

I understand, but strength is more than a equation for destructive capacity. You said it yourself once, even Killian was hesitate to face Daniel. And that is a Speed God vs a dude who knows how to throw a punch.

Actually he has Nightmare and they don't, so not only they're not the same, they're weaker.

Plus Etla has two abilities aside from the Sentry Core so you could argue she's stronger than Naja.

Not that it matters since she's done jack-shit with it and you appear to want feats here. :P

Also, on a completely unrelated note, I thought of a possible side-effect for Etla. You know how I've been roleplaying as if her Core's not quite sure what the hell it's doing with the Sentry Core? Well, maybe after using it and removing it she could enter a 'lagged' state of sorts where her reactions to everything are slower and her mental capacity is diminished. Just a random thought I guess.

I know. I'm just talking in raw destructive power/potential for destruction.

Everyone who's been in IJ for awhile knows that power doesn't really matter. Anyone can beat anyone if they're smart.

@Zark. That is true. Forgot about that. Also true about Elta.

That could be interesting. Her mind being used to processing greater amounts of information, is trying to process the same amount with far less RAM. Likely cause she hasn't learned that she can turn off her powers.

My thought was actually that it would happen because the whole 'phasing into a dimension of limitless energy' deal is kind of trippy and rather tricky for the Core to sustain (though it can, because it's a goddamn plot-powered machine). The hard drop in processing power would be because the Core needs to recover after all that.

Also I'm amused that you keep misspelling her name :P

I guess I should think of side effects for Liberty...
I assume her's wouldn't be a problem controling it, but perhaps she has trouble sustaining the high power for very long without causing damage to her internal systems, repairable but it would leave her in agonizing pain the more she pushed her limits, likely to the point where she simple shuts down from sensory overload. (Like how Lisa can only stay in her super Lisa form for a limited time).

Though, her ability to increase the powers of those around her and inspire them might increase. So those around her on her side will feel a greater power boost.

Also, Lula is pretty powerful, though more in a psychic sense than pure destructive power.
