Ummm..... Ents, now would be a good time to make first contact. SECP, put the Dormier in the rainlands. Segmentia just backed out, so I'm the only rainlands civ.
And no Halo lore is going to the IC. The only Halo related thing other than the races is the language and culture of the Sangheilli. No Holy Covenant, no plasma weapons(yet), no believing in the Great Journey. So calm down.

I've calmed down (drank lots of iced tea and slept) so now I've decided that if I see anything that is remotely Halo in the IC, except for races, I will completely go ape shit in real life but will not in the RP.so I can see them all burn.

I just think that whatever story Halo has is generic and bland, of course that goes to most FPS titles. Halo is just the one that everyone is using at the moment for the RP. Also, I hate the blatant Copying and Paste everyone is doing for them.

Well. Someone's a Grumpy McGrumperton. (Chrissi will know what that means). Let lose, man! Just stay calm and let the waves carry you. Don't worry, man. No Halo stuff in IC. Except, of course, the language, species, and code of Sangheilli honor. Just slow down, enjoy life. Breath in through the mouth, and out through the nose. Cross your legs monk style, and just take a moment to reflect on life in general. Listen to the people around you. Let yourself go, just let life go on at its fast pace around you as you take it slow. When you are done, come back to the tribe and share your experiences on life. Enlighten us, oh great one, for we have not yet reflected on life.
