not to rock the boat... but seriously... we all know that the so-called "halo creatures" are not actual halo creatures in IC, right?

I am going to throw a tantrum to OP if this halo lore stuff gets into IC. OOC rant... i love halo as the next guy. But I dont want my IC to be tainted with fanboy filth.

Spiderman vs Superman?
Eh, they're all great.

Do you guys mind if I put up an app anyways?

I'd like to do a race of isolated mountain warrior-monks, but if you think there are too many people, I'd rather not waste my time putting together an application.

Eh, isolated positions should still be plenty in existence. It's just the main continent that is crowded, from what I understood.

The point is that it is unoriginal and kills the mood. If we are RPing, there is no need for halo. Sure, it is great ball-o-fun in OOC, but it makes no sense and completely noobish to use generic game terms for anything.

... I think the logic of using Edward (Twilight) as your vampire RPC in vampire RP. It is silly and downright rude to those who want to actually roleplay.

Species name:Dormier’s
Species starting climate: (due to over crowding I'll let the OP decide)
Species characteristics:
Image
They are mainly full of a natural made gas which fills it’s body and causes it to float (but not very high)
They are extremely smart and very good at building tech from their kind or other species
Very social to their kind or others
They can adapt to difficult situations quickly
Has no physical way to combat anything

Civilization name: The Dormier’s
Civilization characteristics:(Mostly like the species characteristics)BUT,
They live in/on high areas such as steep mountain sides to keep out of reach to any that may be hostile and has no military at all.
Name of starting settlement and its short history: Their city is called “Ort”.
Image(Example of how the city is built like.)

Ort is a hanging city, an abounded city, a city that was built on the side of a very large mountain. The origins of Ort is unknown for the Dormier’s did not build the city they inherited it. The Dormier’s were once nomadic people that were threaten and killed were ever they went, they were rumored to have gone across every landscape on the know world. One they they came across this spectacle of a city…The Dormiers heaven. Thanks to the Dormiers ability to float they were able to reach the city fairly quickly, but they noticed that the city has been abounded for which seems for some time. There was no evidence of who previously lived here so the Dormier’s settled down and begin to start their lives living in Ort, but they still wait to see if the previous owners will return.

Species name: Tellkill
Species starting climate: Highlands
Species characteristics: A race of humanoid warrior-monks, the Tellkill avoid building cities; instead, they can be found in secluded monasteries on the tops of mountains, where thirty to forty Tellkill will study together under one guru. At the outset of the game there are only a couple monasteries, probably half a dozen, and Denshu.
Appearance

Civilization name: variegated Temples, Dojos, and Shrines(most notably the Denshu Temple and the Taijic Shrine)
Civilization characteristics: Each mountaintop temple has its own customs, laws, signature fighting style, and traditional weapon. They grow enough food in gardens to feed their small populations, but they must trade with outsiders for metal, spices, and other luxuries. It is not rare for a monastery to sell very high-quality weapons to neighboring countries in exchange for basic necessities.
Name of starting settlement and its short history: The first settlement of the Tellkill, the Denshu Temple, was carved out of a mountain peak by the original Tellkill, and remains the largest building ever built by the species by far. It is massive, and can support dozens of families in its interior, which over time has expanded as an underground labyrinth developed beneath the compound. Denshu is the closest to an actual city that the Tellkill have; merchants come to sell wares, unnamed offer their services as mercenaries, and most research projects are commissioned from within its depths. The ruling family, also named Denshu, has controlled the monastery since its construction, and is widely regarded by other nations as the ruling class of the Tellkill. They manage most foreign relations from their mountain-palace, and are responsible for most of the Tellkill's widespread projects, such as commissioning new monasteries, managing conflicts between monasteries, and interspecies declarations of war.

Ummm..... Ents, now would be a good time to make first contact. SECP, put the Dormier in the rainlands. Segmentia just backed out, so I'm the only rainlands civ.
And no Halo lore is going to the IC. The only Halo related thing other than the races is the language and culture of the Sangheilli. No Holy Covenant, no plasma weapons(yet), no believing in the Great Journey. So calm down.

Hello fellow alien civilizations.

I shall be posting something tonight.
I'm a mysterious, sp00ky pink ghost traveling around the NS world. I've visited many regions, and there's a chance I shall visit yours.
