Sci, you were already approved by Hark before I came to the forum. You were not included on purpose.Vengeful Queen Chryssi wrote:Anything I can do with my species?
If you are asking me... I cannot see any problems with your race. It seemed clean and original enough for my taste ^^

In terms of dying off... yes, they did. They evolved to preserve their little, starving lives as much as possible, and no one in the species were recorded to die of old age... as in everyone died of starvation. High rate of fertilization (when they can reproduce) and babies in bundle of 8 max was the only driving force keeping the race from being extinct. If Conruptios did not get domesticated, Feylins would have been archaeological dig for scientists to ponder.

I'm not denigrating you- I love creative races. My own is a mess of sand held together by magnetic flux. They just need a bit of thought as to the how, not the why. You've got a fantastic 'why'.
But, think of it like this: There exists a precursor race to your people, from which they came. One of the children of that race develops a sudden inability to interact with matter via evolutionary mutation- the start of your species. Doesn't that child starve and die before it is ever weaned? What would cause an entire race to be able to reproduce and slowly adopt this mutation? You can't outrun starvation by breeding; starving creatures are often literally incapable of pregnancy.
Like I said, more thought. How does your species reproduce if they can't touch each other? How did they ever acquire the nutrient-dense food that justifies brain growth to language and civilization? How did they eat before the Coruptios came onto the scene? How did they domesticate the symbionts in the first place if they can't interact with them? How have they developed anything resembling technology with no ability to direct interact with matter?

It was more towards something interesting to create than having actual science behind it. I wasn't considering it at the moment and I rolled with it, deciding to tackle the situation as need rose.
frekeshly electromagnetic?

Guess having something like "antigraviton" or similar theoretical physics would work. Again, if I wanted to, I can get something from theoretical physics and put it up as an excuse. However... again, I don't think it will satisfy the people who have problems with my app to begin with.
But thanks for help, Sci. I think I just need to bother Hark about it once he is done with mechanics later.

Dammit. Korea must have region-locks against that link. Google sometimes do that to prevent offensive contents from springing up in different regions. Why WAS that locked, though? Hmmm....Denmark-Hanover and Skaneland wrote:Exactly. The reason Faustian Physics was not mentioned in the app is because Mystifa was just considering it. And Mystica only labelled the Mzistiki as an empire because he saw other people doing it, so he thought it was okay. Can you have the app relabeled so it says the Mzistiki Nation?
Sure. But Mystica needs to edit that and let me know before I can change the status. If he really wants "empire," try to type it in his civ's unique language or something so that it isn't as obvious. After all, it is labeling.

Um...he's not exactly, available, at the moment. I could just find his app and quote it, then change it.

No need to rush. The main problem with it was Faust stuff. As long as it is understood that you cannot start with the concept of region-spanning empire, things are fine. Plus... we aren't exactly starting atm. So I think that's also a upside to this as well ^^
