Well, since we've arrived in Amirabad and enemy forces are coming. I don't think my MiG is good enough for air-to-ground combats. I'll prolly volunteer to take out enemy fighters or bombers since my fighter is best suited for.

Anyone else?

You sure you want Bullpups though? They were shown to suck at destroying bridges in Vietnam.

Two could at least render a bridge unusable by vehicles. I think the problem was less that they were bad at causing damage and more pilots had a hard time guiding them to the right places.

Right, but it looks like I would be flying top cover for the people actually destroying the bridges.

Correct. And you may also go after AA guns and SAMs if the opportunity arises.

What kind of bridges are we looking at?

Suspension bridge, Truss, regular old concrete? And also what kind of damage would a barrage of unguided 135mm rocket do to them?

A mix of truss and concrete. And I highly doubt rockets would do much.

An AGM12C with a 1,000 lbs semi armor piercing warhead would screw up a bridge quite handily though.
