The Munitions are on your ship. The fighters are on his. Transports can be killed, and so can hangers.

Even if you kill him, there's no way you two will survive. Honestly? Enough talk. Let's fight.

1)Ralnis said his doors were open:

2) First hour, Aidannadia's fighters are on my ship.

So, will you both be coming in the first hour?

My transport was sent when we saw the Excelsior's transport leave its hangar. I'd say 15-20 minutes behind his landing will be when I land.

Well, most of that was made when Ralnis was "derelict", and I figured we would secure the Storage section and loot while our other team assaulted the bridge.

Mining drones only have a range of... almost none. They are slow and weak too. Realistically, They cannot suicide into anything but other nearby mining drones (that are not docked with motherships). I guess It would make sense if Mining drones could attempt to attack nearby motherships but said motherships can dispatch drones of their own to counter them, resulting in everyone losing drones which probably won't be a good trade and would also mess up the battle mechanics.

2. I think I did mention once that Fighters, transports and fuel-consuming spacecraft can attempt to kamikaze with ships. In these cases, the units must first survive a battle phase and they must also be faster then the target spacecraft. They deal damage equal to their remaining HP divided by their ship class (fighters divide by one, Corvettes by 2, frigates by 3). In my opinion, this is a seriously bad Idea unless the enemy ship is very low on HP.

3. I agree munitions production is a little messed up so here is what I suggest:
1 munitions would cost only 0.5 HE. Also, You could use LE and RE to make munitions (0.5 for one munitions in all cases). If you produced munitions so far (which I doubt), you get refund in HE.

Okay, I guess Ralnis could close his hangar doors which would mean that the attacking ships have to force their way in. I would say that 2 crew with space tools should be able to dig a hole in the ship's hull in let's say, 12 hours.

Ralnis hasn't indicated any desire to close his doors; realistically, his crew will probably be a bit confused by unannounced transports approaching, but might not think to close the doors immediately.

Most of this makes sense, except for the Munitions part. Why not just make them come in packs of 2? It'd make things a lot easier, without having to worry about half measures.

Additionally, I propose that Flak cannons be made unable to damage Frigates and above, and gain the ability to shoot twice every hour.

Also this, from a while ago.

Armor Plating: Costs 4 HE, adds 10 Hp to the mothership without counting towards the shield and weight values. It must also be targeted first in a battle.

Realistically, it doesn't make sense for Flak to only be able to fire once. Otherwise, the aforementioned torpedo spam will take place. The armor is simply an alternative to the shields, for those who don't want to burn energy, can plan ahead, or have greater knowledge of the tech tree.

Torpedoes can only fire once too, and Flak cannons are easier to build and operate than torpedo launchers.

But if you make Flak fire twice, it should be able to target ships for .5 damage per shot.

Why, exactly? Flak is purpose built to hard counter fighters. If you're worried about fighters becoming obsolete, they aren't, not yet. They simply just aren't suited for this role. Any number of fighters in Homeworld will find it extremely difficult to even scratch a mothership, and a single Flak Frigate can take out somewhere around 5-6 squadrons on its own. Where they really shine is fighting other small ships, most notably the suspiciously absent bombers that Frigates and Capital Ships fear.

I was going to add "Engineering bay" as a free tech next sector, which allows building engineering bays which adds 10 HP to 5 modules of your choice. I guess both could work. Lets vote.

2 Munitions per day would make production too fast. Make more Production plants!
