Nah; the trait is another harvesting bay per refinery that runs with only energy. Each unupgraded refinery has 3 slots, two of which are run by Crew. Upgraded, that goes up to 6 slots, four of which are run by two crew. It's not efficiency, since I still have to pay energy for them, it just makes each individual refinery more manpower efficient.
So, 2 + 1 x 2 for the upgrade x 2 due to having 2 refineries = 12 refining drones.
If I remember correctly, we decided a while back that upgrading refineries only increases capacity of resourcers.

Hmm, was that it? I can't seem to find any post specifically detailing what the conclusion was. At any rate, then, I have six drilling drones. Still probably fine for chewing up a ship

Alrighty then, what is the consensus on this? How much damage do refinery drones do? How to we fix the Munitions problem? How much damage does a kamikaze do?
1. 1 HP DMG every 24 hours, since that is their mining rate
2. Munitions are made 3 at a time.
3. Can only be used on ships of equal or greater size, 1x starting HP.

Hmm, I'd think the miners would be more devastating really. Most modules are only made out of 2-3 resources, and have 5 HP. Not to mention they aren't made solid, but rather out of small layers of fairly easy to puncture metal, after which the air leaks out and you have electrical failures, pressure damage, all that good jazz. Of course, that assumes they can reach the ship.
Munitions are a good idea- it'd probably be wiser to put it to two than three though, otherwise torpedo spam is our future.
As far as kamikazes, they'd likely do more damage than just their HP- assuming that the ships are travelling at even a decent speed, they can probably cause some catastrophic issues. Much as the real kamikazes could sink much larger ships, a space-borne fighter can likely do quite a number on its point of impact, as long as one is willing to sacrifice the crew and ship.

I agree to all of the above. Except I want to retroactively add 4 munitions then, since I actually made 2 munitions.

Go ahead, as long as the almighty Harkback approves.
I'd like to point out that drones can only do damage if they survive all 24 hours of battle, and that one production cycle can take place during this time.
@G-Tech
1. The same can be used as an argument against drones, since those elements will have been blended into tougher alloys.
2. Flak can fire as many times as you have Munitions while being only able to damage fighters and corvettes. I think we'll survive.
3. I thought of that too, but otherwise you can spam transport kamikazes to one shot sections. In the name of balance
Edit: Excidium ninja'd me with essentially the same ideas.

On the other hand, the assistance of only a single mothership would mean complete failure, since we could do the same to you.
Ex. I launch 2 transports. One kamikazes one of yours, while Ralnis destroys the other two in the same manner. It is then left as a 2v2, except Ralnis has defender's advantage and cannon fodder, while I take my remaining transport and capture one of your motherships.

Unless we have munitions, then Aidannadia's fighters take you down, and we lock our hangar doors upon departure to ensure safety, or even just scuttle our hangar.

Scuttle hanger = wat.
How did you plan to get through Ralnis' hanger doors?
The Munitions are on your ship. The fighters are on his. Transports can be killed, and so can hangers.
Even if you kill him, there's no way you two will survive. Honestly? Enough talk. Let's fight.
