I'm very tempted to create a character for this, if only for the possibility of aircraft combat. I'd most likely go with some variant of the Harrier (V/STOL is always fun).

I'm very tempted to request usage of either an Ho-X or a Focke-Wulf Triebflügel, but then I remember how costly, impractical and useless that would be.

I'm very tempted to request usage of either an Ho-X or a Focke-Wulf Triebflügel, but then I remember how costly, impractical and useless that would be.

I was actually going to suggest adding the Ho-229 and Me-262 to the aircraft list. I'm sure they could be upgraded to have missiles in the Ace Combat world. Same as I'm hoping muh Arrow can have a cannon instead of all missile armament like it was intended to have IRL.

The 262 wouldn't necessarily be ideal, it has simple, non-swept wings, with the engines mounted beneath the wings. Of various messerschmitt planes, I'd likely go with the Me P.1102, a vairable geometry wing design, albiet one that never reached the skies.

My character is probably most definitely going to be the adoptive father of my character from the last RP. He was the one who taugth my other character how to fly, along with his son, before he and his son were shot down and killed, leaving my last character alone.

He's probably gonna be younger, so sans family. But still.
