There are lots of Area 88 references in AC 0. The Knight Paint Scheme for the F-20 is practically an exact copy of Shins F-5E that he gets later in the show.
Also why is the P-51K on the list but not aircraft like the late model F4U Corsairs or F-82 Twin Mustangs.

Corsairs and Twin Mustangs didn't serve into the 1980s.
