Raymond went and got into a fight with some gang members, drew Salis and Red Raven into it, then Raymond went with Red Raven to get some training. Salis went after Dexter and fought Sorel or something like that and accidentally shanked Dex (Ben or Eskimos, mind giving a better summary here?). Sorel presumably sold the information about Rose's mansion that she got from Dexter, who got said information from Salis. Salis took the wounded Dexter to Rose's mansion, where Blaze and Veris started flipping out. Ophelia happened to be there, so she patched him up.

After that we timeskipped to the next week. Salis is a drunk, Ophelia's staying in Rose's mansion for the time being, and we were planning on having some Pandas kidnap Blaze and Ophelia so that the group would have to fight through the gang to get them back.

That's it, I believe.

Sorel then put him to sleep and erased any memory of being there while giving him the impulse to go to the building she was meeting Dex in. Lucifer also made Salis more violent and unstable when feeling threatened (though no one knows this IC). Salis then walked in on Dexter giving the mansion's location to Sorel. After threatening to kill Sorel, Salis was put to sleep and promptly started experiencing his reoccurring nightmare of the night he was attacked by his own gang members. At this point, thinking he was actually in the alley with the men who tried to kill him years before, he ended up stabbing Dexter accidentally. Salis then took Dexter to the mansion to be fixed up and now blames himself for what happened, leading him to go alcoholic to escape the memories of what happened. That good?

Personality:

• Augmented creativity: Has an imaginative mind and will often program weirder and weirder things within the computer. One remembers a plasma gun with a talking computer stuffed in what looked like a potato attached to the side.
• Artists can be so difficult: hard for her to get involved in conversations. She is a great thinker, but hard to communicate. The friends she does have grew to understand her shortcomings and try and involve her in whatever way she can.
• kind by design: She is smart and doesn't like getting into fights. She is a kind-natured spirit and believes in the good of everyone. For this reason she rarely holds grudges.
• Creation with a life of it's own: Her personality often changes when she uses her powers. Her eyes turn blue and she becomes bashful and courageous, more willing to jump into danger, and help others.

Weakness:

• her ability tends to be a strain on whatever computer it is calling from, Trying to activate or call more than one program would fry most computers. more complex the program, more likely you got a dead computer. This deactivates the power instantly.

Bio:
Alissa often had troubles connecting with other children. Maybe it was due to her weird quirks. She didn't like many girly thins other girls liked, so it often led to her being excluded. That wasn't to say she didn't have friends, just not many. Due to this she often found herself at the hands of the latest game, or the latest computer. She found her tie to technology grew when she got into programming, game programming to be specific. She was enthralled and fascinated. While she was not the best drawer, she could create many intricate things on a computer. Her fascination was vast and her imagination grew uncontrollable.

Unfortunately, her fascination with programming was at one point found out in school. She was barely a 3rd grader at that point and as such she was laughed and mocked by almost anyone. Few of her friends fought back in her defence, mostly scared of becoming a target themselves. Bullying became commonplace for the rest of elementary school and she was forced to move.

This all changed when came high school. She, feeling quite hesitant, joined a programming class in high school and began taking steps to become more adventurous and social. She found a group of fellow misfits and outcasts and truly felt she had found a good clique. When she wasn't playing Mazes and Monsters (D&D) she was continuing to program evermore fantastical objects.

Around this time, following a slight boost in confidence, her powers kicked in. She soon realized she could give artificial life to her programs and creations. She often created what seemed to be mechanized suits of armor. She was a big scifi buff... so iron-man like constructs were her favorite subject. Of course she only really started small.

That was until she tried to create an actual suit of armor with many intricate parts and weapons. It was a simple experiment, but it had an unfortunate effect to every computer in the computer lab, and the school servers. They, well, burst. This is what got her noticed and transported away, unknowing of what happens to superhumans.

in her bio she attempts to make an entire ironman-like suit, but destroys a computer lab. She will mostly be summoning parts like iron man-like shoulder pads which shoot miniature missiles, two techno-pistols which shoot lasers, and rocket boots. all of these one at a time. She may do miniature robotic constructs for combat, but this'd be quite limited in design. Maybe AA turrets if she feels like it.

I see. I'll accept her as a Beta, then. One thing I should point out is that her power won't be too accessible in Eden's Garden, since there are not too many computers and such around outside the Neon District.

Anyway, take a look at the first post of the IC thread if you want to know what's in store for Alissa. Since you're coming in late there won't be any PCs on the ride with you, but one of my characters is not with the rest of the group at the moment so I could use him to get you to the rest of the group, if you want. Oh boy, this'll be fun. First of all, many of the characters I'm about to describe are no longer active, because their players left. The only characters still involved in this thing are Dexter, Salis, Veris, Blaze, Raymond and Ophelia, as well as Black's characters, I suppose (not sure on that, she just came back). I'll give you the rundown of what's relevant, but this is not everything, obviously.

So, we start, right? Simple enough. A bunch of characters get to Eden's Garden on a bus, the opening scene happens. Some of them band together, forming the main group, consisting thus far of Blaze (a pyrokinetic), Veris (guy who manipulates light and shadows), Dexter (nerd with nerd superpowers), and Alexis (a vampire-werewolf woman thingy). Meanwhile this guy called Dalton (who has no powers) goes away to become a masked superhero. The main group meets a dude called Zero, who wants to recruit them for the Hysterical Pandas, one of the strongest gangs which currently rules part of Eden's Garden. They refuse, naturally, so Zero leaves promising to come back and give them hell, while the group scurries off to find a base where they can lie low and lick their wounds. They find an abandoned hotel and settle there.

Meanwhile, another group arrives in another bus, they get the same welcome treatment, then Dalton arrives, already settled into his superhero persona (Red Raven), arrives to guide this new group to the old one in hopes they'd be safer there. Among them is Raymond, one of my characters, has some trippy powers with death lines and voice commands. So they arrive, and not long after, Zero attacks with fifty men. The group proceeds to outgun, outmanuever and outsmart (mostly outsmart) them, and the few that survive run away along with Zero, who later gets killed by his superiors for failing, apparently. So, the next day, this nigga called Salis arrives and makes himself at home in the abandoned hotel, proceeding to put himself at odds with every person in the group until Raymond comes and tells him to keep his shit together if he wants to stay. Dexter splits everyone up and sends them to gather supplies, and so they split up and gather supplies. While out getting stuff, Dexter, Blaze and I think Shane (a technopath who's no longer here) meet an enigmatic woman named Sorel, who is in the employ of Lucifer (leader of the Rogue Ravens, basically the bad guys, will go into that some other time), and has powers over dreams, apparently.

Elsewhere, a healer named Ophelia, who uses the magical girl-ish persona of Zephyr when out helping people, meets the Red Raven. They do some stuff, then he gets into a fight and she leaves for the hotel after finding out about the group that fought Zero. She arrives, patches up some people, and then a woman named Rose (Alexis' sister, Ophelia's old friend, a witch basically) arrives as well. There's some controversy afterwards, which has Rose and Salis get into a fight with the latter nearly dying were it not for Ophelia's powers, but all of it ends when Raymond arrives with Alexis and restores some order. However, in the fight, Salis created a black hole which consumes the building, with the group narrowly escaping. After that, they decide to head to Rose's mansion, with Dexter splitting off from the group and finding his own base.

(I like all the ACDC references here....) anyways yes once I get finished settling into my summer schedule I will be returning. I've been semi-active elsewhere posting just enough to keep up with the story (and kind of not checking OOC there but shhhhh) though now with the extra time I'm going to have I'll be able to fan out and fun things like that. If I'll try and come up with an excuse to keep my character relevant as I rather enjoyed him. Anyway I'll return sometime tomorrow, can't wait to rp with you all again.
