The Doors of Stone?
Is that what the third book of The Kingkiller Chronicle is called or is it another thing entirely? I haven't been keeping up that much, to be honest (though I loved the two first books).

It is what the third one is called! Most people believe it will be the doors of stone in the Archives!

Patrick Rothfuss is the author of The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear, both of them from a fantasy saga called The Kingkiller Chronicle. They're pretty good books, and the worldbuilding is amazing.
I personally have been reading Darksiders: The Abomination Vault as of late. It's also based on a videogame franchise and I've liked it a lot so far.

You would probably enjoy the Halo novel's then. All of them are really well written, though the Forerunner books can be menotinous and confusing at times. It's one of the reasons I love the franchise. The lore is really deep and there's so much to discover from the origins of the Flood, to the culture of the Forerunners and covenant, to the deception and subterfuge of ONI. I highly recommend them.

I don't think they'd be able to attack the mansion itself when they can't even see it. I was thinking they'd keep a tight watch on the area though, and kidnap Blaze and Ophelia when they go out. Salis would probably avoid capture, if he's with them in the first place. And I haven't seen Equalsun around lately so I don't count him much, but if he were there he'd probably avoid capture as well.
I'll probably have Raymond return after the kidnapping.

Salis won't be going out for a bit, you'll see why soon. As for Equalsun, he's still in Germany. He should be back soon.

Salis won't be going out for a bit, you'll see why soon. As for Equalsun, he's still in Germany. He should be back soon.
