These portals would start off just large enough for him to run through, but bigger ones would become available over time, and mini black holes would be a late game ability.

He has no friends or known relatives and used his extreme natural talent with firearms to further his position in the criminal underworld, killing those who posed a threat to his survival using precision shots with his signature sniper and his portals. He was picked up after killing a squad of military commandos when they raided a know criminal hideout.

I personally would like to have a bit more detail in your bio before I personally would accept this. I don't know about the other CO-OPs, but I definitely would like to see more detail.

For instance, did he receive any training in firearms from someplace? Otherwise, what made him so good with rifles? What kind of criminals had he involved himself in?

I wasn't going to say anything about it, but since you've mentioned it, I do think that the weakness just isn't... consequential enough. I dunno, it just seems like its not really much of a weakness in comparison to the power level.

Bio: He grew up poor in an urban environment, quickly learning to kill and steal to survive. He eventually joined a powerful gang where he learned to be an expert mArksman and practiced his powers, but was ridiculed and bullied by the others for his age and powers. Eventually he snapped, killing five gang members whiLe out on a mission. The others came after him for retribution but quickly found their numbers being witled down to the point of giving up. Salis continued as a lone wolf, stealing what he had to for a living. later on he had a run in with authorities when they raided a hideout he was staying their, ending in the death of 15 of them. The military later captured him during an intense fight that ended twenty more of their lives.
Danger level: n/a
Weakness clarification: the reduced range of his ability severely impacts its use in conjunction with allies and as an escape tool. The reduced stability of portals forces him to take more time opening them, and more concentration keeping them open therefore reducing his ability to concentrate on combat. Destabilization also makes the portals dangerous for
the user as there is an increased chance that they will not make it to the other side, possibly being dumped into the nothingness between dimensions.

I am trying to deduce exactly how many of the gang members are left. So, I dont believe an exact number was given. Just 50ish and so not including Zero, I set it at 55.

Dragon killed 4 taking it to 51.
Red Raven defeated 2 on the stairway and three more when he rescued Dexter. Making five and bringing the new total to 46.
Speed Demon killed 2 speedsters marking it at 44.
Shane killed what I believe to be around 9. Bringing the enemy down to 35.
The Ray and Brady tag team defeated/killed 4 attackers taking the score down to 31.
Alexis went all underworld and in her Vaerwolf form took out another two I believe. Giving them only 29 left.
Kelvin took out another six I believe. Knocking the total to 23.

And then Black gave permission for Red Raven to lead ten of them away in a diversion. Which would only leave 13 left and then Zero for the final battle. So, considering who is left Red Raven will be leading about 43% of the remaining forces away. Not bad at all, and it will ensure that the group can make a final stand without being outnumbered.

So, I just wanted to give everyone an idea of how many are left. So that we can make a better picture of how the battle has gone down. Just to make things a challenge, we can have the final attackers be an elite guard, saying that the ones defeated were only shock troops hoping to overwhelm the defenders.

And while the group tries to fight off the last 13 or so attackers. Red Raven will be attempting to evade ten super powered pursuers.
If I have made any mistakes in my math, let me know and edit the numbers accordingly.
