Yep. Too bad Senpai still not notice me, even though the other girls had been disposed of. I even disposed of the boys too!
Indeed. It can be somewhat frustrating being the only person at school with him but still losing to the orange-haired rival under the tree at the front.
It is kind of fun massacring everyone, though. As well as just picking them all off one by one over the course of the week.

Nice.
I continue to watch ufotable's Fate/Stay night (I really should catch up on the last couple of episodes), World Trigger (a kind of scifi/fantasy thing with unusual aliens and sometimes superpowers and awesome energy weapons), and occasionally I'll catch an episode of Fairy Tail. Not much else going on in my anime life, though I've been considering that I should start watching Bleach again, considering it recently got added to Netflix (). Not right now, though; I should wait until one of my current series ends.

I can't see it. Like the guy said, anime is too big to fail so quickly.
In other news, Shokugeki no Soma is amazing. Best thing to watch around dinnertime, and it's funny as hell IMO.

"Too big to fail" has received too many bitch slaps from reality to comfort me anymore. While I can't imagine it collapsing in 5, 50 or 500 yearsI've learned life rarely sync's with what you think.
Thanks much, I'll check it out. I've been having laughs with Golden Time, Oregairu & Nisekoi

Animation has always been hideously expensive unless you do it really cheaply and poorly, it's easy to see the anime industry transitioning into something like the Western animation industry. THe shonen and kid stuff isn't going anywhere cause there'll always be kids to watch it and buy merchandise. But long form, expensively animated adult orientated stuff could easily disappear, being replaced by shorter form stuff that relies on humour and doesn't need to be as flashy to be entertaining.
So Japanese animation in general is almost certainly not going anywhere, but the stuff that's relaly unique to anime and that makes it compelling to me is probably in a more precarious position than people think.

Atlannia wrote:It's just there's a reason there isn't really an analouge to the anime industry elsewhere, it's really hard to make profitable. I mean can you imagine if the Marvel movies were all made with the understanding that most people wouldn't carea bout them and most of the revenue would come from hardcore comicbook fans goint to multiple viewings and buying box set blue rays and merchandise adn stuff. . I'm not a buisness person by any means so I'm no doubt simplifying things a great deal. I am certain the future of the industry looks significantly different to what it is now. Maybe good different, maybe not so good different. If you're someone who watches anime but isn't really into manga and light novels and stuff it might be a good time to cultivate that stuff since it's a hell of a lot cheaper to make and is viable as an indie only thing, so that's not going aywhere for a while.
.... So uh... I finally got around to watching Durarara, really good, I loved Baccano but for some reason put this one off for ages.
