Divided between Kantai Collection, Girls Und Panzer, Nisekoi, and RWBY*.
*fuck you to those who say RWBY is not an anime just because it wasn't made in Japan.![]()

Pretty good so far. It's kind of enjoyable to watch an old classic (really like the animation) and it was refreshing how they had a straightforward beginning instead of something complex. Only thing I'm dreading is fanservice.
Rei has gotten little screentime, but she is already best character.

I will stand by my puritanical definition to the death, even if Monty himself returns from his conquest of hell to force otherwise. Otherwise, a good show. I won't dispute that.

I used to lean towards the if it looks, sounds and smells like anime then it is regardless of geography but lately I find myself going the other way. I mean you wouldn't call something Russian literature if it was heavily inspired by Tolstoy but written in America by a British person or whatever.

Granted, the original word for 'anime' in Japanese is literally just short form for 'animation'. So, if you're going to call anime-inspired shows as 'anime', you technically would have to call all cartoons 'anime' as well. I understand that some people refer to anime with regards to arts style, but for me, it's just really jarring to apply it to non-Japanese shows, no matter how animeesque, simply because the geography just doesn't sit well with me.

Two episodes in and her opinion is already wrong.
She's growing up so fast.

World Trigger and the third season of Drrr are the things I'm enjoying the most at the moment though.
