On a partially related note, the Italian version of Night At The Museum 2 altered the scene with Napoleon and made his dubber imply that a "famous, womanizing politician, similar in...height" was one of his descendants.

What's wrong with French?

Maybe because France is not the one who was defeated by Greece in WW2?

WW2 is one of the few conflicts where we Italians can find an empathic ground with the French, actually.

I put it now, but scores materialized on it just as it appeared.

Regarding the morbid popularity of Yanderes in the poll, I've got a chilling personal theory on the matter.

That is a fan art made by someone for the developer of Yandere Simulator.

Some people just want to be tied to a chair, blindfolded and spoon-fed love by their cute and highly huggable stalker with a crush.

It's called "crush" because that's what a yandere does to (real or perceived) competition, by the way.

What about it? AFAIK, they aren't exactly successful.

Hardly. We didn't willingly put ourselves under totalitarian rule, and we lost to Germany, not to Greece.

But let's drop the topic. This isn't the Council of the Multiverse.

I tend to like Yanderes as characters, because they're entertaining, but I voted for them mainly for laughs. IRL, there's no character archetype that I'd find attractive: tsunderes would be obnoxious, kuuderes and danderes just wouldn't attract my attention in the first place, derederes would be tiring and yanderes, obviously, dangerous and insane. A balance of characteristics would suit me better.

Regarding Corsica, you acid Frenchman, let them dream :(

And yes, let's drop it, because I actually love France. Especially your patisseries. And your cheries. As in, girls. It's just that spoken French makes the people who speak it very punchable, for some reason.

For the record, I have no patriotic values whatsoever, and indeed I completely fail to even understand them. I'm half-South African and have grown up abroad more than in France, so to me it's all the same. Whenever I defend the place, it's as a joke.

As for deres, I didn't say that I preferred real girls :geek:
If you recall my app (you probably don't), my closest-thing-to-a-waifu is Senjougahara Hitagi, who is none of the classical deres. I like characters who don't fit into archetypes -- particularly if they're smart and sassy.

Also, you didn't betray your allies and defect to the other side because things weren't looking well for you.

I'm actually kinda disappointed my ancestors sailed to Britain. Could have been French...
