The ESA will cooperate with any NASA, JAXA, or other first-rate space agencies in what will hopefully prove transcendant of terrestrial politics - at least as much as possible.

$5000 USD per capita of GDP is not a superpower regardless of the total GDP. When your average citizens make $5000 a year, you have a Brazilian shanty town, not primary global influence.

Cambria will burn! Azteca will reign in every corner of the Earth.

Influence, military, and economic power is what matters toward superpowerdom. The fact that it's 5,000 USD and growing massively is incredibly impressive, plus, if it were any higher, it would be larger than the CNA economy currently.

In truth, I don't think any of qualify as true superpowers. To be honest as well, India doesn't need to be a superpower - it's a major regional great power and could hold its own against any nation that would strike on its gone turf.

...And are you going to tell me the Soviet Union was not a superpower with a GDP per capita of 5,800USD (1982)?

Wait, France in this RP once controlled those territories? Well I didn't know that. I thought it was the same as our world where this region was split between the UK, Dutch and French.

Cambrian history thus far.

Now I need to weave into everyone else's stuff. Would folks be all right with my simply accepting what's been established already? Everyone seems to have interacted with Britain/Cambria at some point.

Agreed. Most of us could make that claim anyway, which is one reason why I think all the fighting right out of the gate is just foolish and so very overdone. Some political roleplaying would be a pleasant change.

Well France was honestly wanked to a degree here i'll admit until the 1870's at least. France really got lucky and managed to put a stronger claim on Borneo and Sumatra after buying Singapore.

Purpose or Goals of Company: Get profits (as if any company wants), as well as trying to be neutral in any wars or conflicts that happen.

History of Company: AZH Tech started as a joint military defense company sponsored by the Indonesian and Malaysian government as one of the means to further improve the relations of both countries in the 1971. The CEO of the company then is the late Hassan Budiyawan, the father of the current 30-year old CEO.

In the following year, the company under the supervision of Hassan started looking for foreign companies to partner up with them and create a joint project that would fruit military vehicles to be used by the Malaysian and Indonesian Army. One of the first companies willing to do this is the German-based Rheinmetall Defense Company. The first machine made from the partnering of these two companies is the R-AZH 75 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (RT-75 IFV). It used most of its technology from Rheinmetall, from which the AZH Company started studying it with their permission and started producing their own licensed version.

The partnering continues with another smaller Defense Company, this time from the USSR. They were interested with the RT-75 IFV and together these 3 companies started the development of an APC the next year of 1976. 3 years later, AZH and the Russian Company started manufacturing of it in small numbers for the Malaysian and Indonesian Army, as well as several other nations that were interested. Rheinmetall as the provider of the technologies gets a big chunk of money.

In 1988, the company was privatized due to an economical problem faced by Malaysia and Indonesia, and all aids by the two governments were frozen. In that year also Hassan Budiyawan died due to a heart attack at the age of 70. and Ahmad Zulkifli replaced his dad as the CEO of AZHTech Corporation.

Skipping the years until 1991, AZH has gathered an arsenal of land army machines including tanks, as well as some small arms again with the help of foreign companies.

Looks really good, like especially how it's called AZHTech Corp. reminds me of Aztec. Seems like you are going to provide PMC services yes? Either way Accepted.

Probably just in the period between 1919 and the 1960's when the Indochinese colonies started to Rebel. During that Period France and her Massive empire was probably closer to a super power. After that France is more like a very strong Great or regional power, one of the top tens for sure but not the number one.

I think this a multipolar world, in which we have a decent cast of Great Powers but no outstanding, clearly defined superpowers.

Well the Indochinese wars where kind of lost as fighting a frustrating war in the jungles of Indochina for over ten years never quite being able to fully defeat those guerrilla fighters made France eventually quit. Mostly because of Attrition, frustration and the effects it was having on the rest of the Empire. The French of course like to say that they never lost on the field.

Their population growth rate, however, is not a very good sign for superpowerdom.
