1981- South African forces march into Lesotho under the flag of equal rights and a better life, the government was forced by its people to accept annexation or face a revolution that was sure to be bloody.
1982- South African troops seize Swaziland in a coup de tal put in place by King letsie III and his chief advisors.
1984- South African troops march on the Swaziland capital but are fired upon starting a 3 month engagement ending in more than 5,000 casualties and the capitol burned to the ground.
1986- Namibia surrenders as soon as they receive reports of south African troops amassing on their border.
1986- Madagascar does the same under heavy negotiations and death threats.
1987- South Africa and her captured territories become the UAS or Union of African States.
1990- The UAS invades Mozambique launching a 7 month long conflict ending in the death of hundreds and the death of the president of Mozambique.
1991- King Letsie III and Kgalema Motlanthe are killed in a mysterious plane crash and a Colonel by the name of Kunta Kinte takes power in an almost bloodless revolution, Kunta Kinte was aided mostly by farmers and industrial workers.

History of your Nation (Please be very detailed):
-1606, settlers sailing from the Virginia Company sailing to the New World made landfall in modern day "Kingsland" They created a town called Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the Americas.

-1610, the colony had expanded across Kingsland, with conflicts with natives occurring frequently. The next twenty years where a rough time for the colonies, as many Native Attacks occurred daily. Many fell to the Indians and starvation, but the colonists expanded on.

-1635, the colony had expanded to nearly cover all of IRL Virginia, North Carolina and small parts of Tennessee. The colonies slowly expanded to cover all the lands of the IR CSA save for Texas and Louisiana by 1670.

-1687, Plot planned out for years by colonists to force out the British fails and the south is put under marshal law until the year 1700. This is known as one of the worst times in AU history as British soldiers committed horrid atrocities without reprecussions.

-Massive Time Skip as this is just rule under the British/CNA-

-1812, War with Azteca sees many Southerners sent to their deaths, and the Southern economy getting hit hard. Hatred for the British grows tenfold during this time.

-1831, When the Confederation of North America gains dominion, the South appeals to Burgoyne for autonomy, but is denied and is placed under control of the CNA. Only three months later, the "Independence Party" is founded in Richmond.

The Hundred Day War actually lasted 102 days, however many claim the first two days to not count as the American Union had not officially declared independence. On March 29th, 1833, slavery was outlawed in the Confederation of North America. At first, this seemed to be simply an event that may anger some people, but it rapidly hurdled out of country. Outside of Houston, Texas, a plantation of slaves revolted against there owners after hearing this. The next day, nearly thirty plantations where overthrown by slaves and dead bodies began litering the streets of multiple major southern cities. On the third day the plantation owners struck back, and pro-slavery groups and militias began killing the revolting slaves. On March 31st, 1833, AKA AU independence day; Texas was the first state to secede from the Confederation, blaming the CNA for the hundreds of lives lost. Georgia and Alabama where second and third respectively. Within a week all of the south save for Kentucky and California seceded. On April 18th, former CNA soldiers and Pro-slavery militias ferried themselves out too and seized Fort Sumter in Charleston harbor.

The next two weeks where quiet, with little fighting save for border skirmishes. The first major battle was at Richmond, Virgina, where nearly 21,000 Southerners faced 35,000 CNA forces. The CNA where victorious, despite taking major losses. With the AU retreat to Petersburg, AU "Greycoats" stormed the city of Vicksburg, Missouri, which was one of the largest concentrations of CNA forces in the south. The AU won their first major victory at Petersburg when they routed CNA forces. The next few weeks where quiet again, as neither side wanted to make any drastic moves. Many slaves revolted in Louisiana, and when the Greycoats turned to face this new threat the CNA struck in Kentucky, occupying much of the state. The AU gathered its forces just south in Nashville, Tennesee. When the CNA struck at Nashville, they where greeted with a massive force of nearly 60,000 Greycoats, who ran them back to Cincinnati.

With it being obvious the war was going no where, the CNA's government began questioning allowing the AU to become independent. The British where pouring money into their Dominion to aid in the war, and was seeing that it clearly wasn't helping. AU forces began moving towards Maryland, with hopes of pushing to Burgoyne, but they where defeated just south of Washington. The AU began digging in, realizing they didn't need to strike into the North. The CNA officially granted the South independence on June 26th, 1833. The AU immediately began demobilizing in the far West, but in the East they still had a fight to finish in Kentucky. Kentucky had declared independence as the Republic of Kentucky, due to the high presence the CNA held there during the war. There was no major battles, just lots of small skirmishes especially in the north near Cincinnati. Many to this day consider Kentucky as independent of the American Union, but of curse they are incorrect.

-1834, Reconstruction begins in the south, many bands of freed slaves continue to perform guerilla warfare attacks against the AU for the next decade.

-1870s, Industrial Revolution, south is much more industralized than IRL due to the need to counter the north. The AU also begins making overtures to the German Empire to counter the CNA's close relations with Britain. In 1879 the capital is changed from Richmond to Atlanta.

1890, American Union finally fully stabilizes as it approaches the 20th century. The AU begins increasing it's semi lacklustre military with German weapons and equipment, and soon make a uniform similar to the CNA one but with more of a Green color scheme. The AU also signs into an alliance with the Aztecs, hoping to gain an ally against the massive power to the north.

With massive destabilization growing in the north with all sorts of Far-Leftists rioting against the CNA government in 1905 left the American Union in a rather good position. Union generals began scheming for an invasion of their northern neighbor, however, with possible British retaliation and the lack of an Western border due to Cascadia blocking the way, AU generals realized they needed to try to bring a speedy defeat to the Confederation. AU president Thomas Woodrow Wilson appointed John J. Pershing as head of the Army of North Virginia which was spearheading the assault on two of the CNA's most important cities, Washinton and Burgoyne. The AU forces began massing above the city of Richmond, the AU's former capital. With the CNA moving to a Provisional Government, the AU seized the moment and pushed on May 4th, 1906 General Pershing's force crossed the Potomac.

AU cossacks crushed many CNA forces outside the city as the small garrison struggled to set up entrenchments just outside the city. AU forces began moving both by boat and land towards the city, seeing that it was not heavily guarded. The battle in the fields was quick and Union morale skyrocketed. As the AU forces prepared to burn the city, the forth and fifth divisions spit off from the Army of North Virginia and moved West towards West Virginia and Maryland, giving much confidence to Pershing as it seemed the war would in fact be the rapid war of conquest Wilson had hoped of him. The next target for the AONV was Baltimore, which was where majority of the Washington garrison was retreating too. After burning the Governor-Generals mansion (More as a message to Britain than the CNA) Pershing moved to Baltimore in Late August, which had similar results to D.C. It appeared to Pershing that victory was at hand and Burgoyne would soon be his.

Baltimore soon had a different problem. Militiamen from the "Workers Commitee" where attacking his troops in the urban downtown of Baltimore, where his clunky troops made easy targets as they lacked the wide open fields outside D.C. where they had given the CNA a run for their money. The stunning Union cavalry had no use in the streets of Baltimore, leaving rookies and unskilled soldiers to have to deal with constant guerilla attacks. Suddenly Burgoyne was reinforced not by the same poorly trained CNA regulars that Pershing had crushed at Washington and Baltimore. Pershing was finally shown the error of his troops ability of fighting in urban environments at Newark, Delaware, just south of Burgoyne. Pershing lost almost as many troops at Newark than he had at Washington and Baltimore combined.

Wilson, upon hearing of Pershing's first major defeat, immediately began a campaign of propaganda criticising the "Godless Communists" .(Yes I know there Socialists but to the south their is no real difference) The hyperreligious populace of the south harbored a deep hatred for the WC, especially after Newark. Many slogans such as "Better dead than red" and "The only good Commie is a dead Commie" began appearing rather frequently in the South.

In the meantime, the Union fleet set to finish off what remained of the CNA's power along the Potomac. The Fleet of Virginia moved up the Potomac and prepared to crush the Potomac Fleet at Cornfield Harbor, which was actually a rather poor decision as many later joined the WC. On the night of March 13th, 1907, a small raiding party of about 17 of Pershing's best men snuck into the harbor at which the Potomac fleet was stationed, and detonated several bombs on a dreadnaught located in the center of harbor, created mass confusion which allowed the Fleet of Virginia to crush the Potomac fleet the next morning as ships struggled to leave the small ablaze harbor while being pounded by shells from AU ships. This battle returned some morale to the Union forces after the battle of Newark, but was actually a false feeling as the WC would continue to gain victories against the AU.

While the Eastern front moved up and down for the Union, the West was slightly embarrassing. Despite early victorious against the CNA in Utah and Arizona the AU forces where hit hard in the rear by Mormon militia, supporters of Deseret. When the AU forces first saw the forces of Deseret coming down the mountain, their black coats caused many AU soldiers to refer to it as "The Angel of Death descending the mountain upon us" The AU forces near Salt Lake city where defeated by a force only around 1/3 their size because the sight and being attacked in the rear sent many AU soldiers fleeing in panic. The AU never again made a large move in the West until 1913 when a force of about 20,000 tried to take advantage of the Deseret-CNA peace treaty and move through the territory, but ended up being pushed out by fierce Mormon resistance.

By late 1915 the borders had nearly returned to pre-war. Heavy fighting was taking place in D.C. between Pershing and the WC, and the AU was constantly making moves on Deseret, but the war didn't seem to be going anywhere. At the Fourth Battle of Washington, the final major AU victory, American Union Marines fought off a force of WC nearly 2 times their size at the small sub-battle of McLean, VA where many AONV forces urged the Marines to retreat, however Marine Captain Lloyd W. Williams replied with the now famous phrase: "Retreat? Hell, we just got here!". The Marines than fought off the WC forces despite impossible odds. Sadly, Captain Williams died in battle shortly after. The skill of the AUMC who where brought in to replace the ever dwindling Army of North Virginia was first shown there, and it began the fame of the AUMC that still exists today. General Pershing later said, "The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle!" The war would later end in Status Quo ante Bellum in 1916, however the south partially achieved their goals, British influence had been removed from North America, ironically by their own enemies. However, the AU had new problems, with growing tensions in their own nation.

-1921, the Emancipation party wins their first ever election, and promises to free all slaves across the AU. This is met with direct opposition by the Freedom Party, a Racist and Fascist party that believed that Slavery was not enough for African-Americans, but complete and utter annihilation. of the black race.

-1922, Slavery is officially outlawed in the AU, and the racist terror group the "Klu Klux Klan" is founded. This group instantly declared allegiance to the Freedom Party, who is in complete uproar over the event.

-1925, With the rise of Fascist support in the AU due to the massive Socialist threat to the north, the Freedom party begins organizing the KKK into a more militarized organization. (Similar to the IRL NSDAP's S.S.) The KKK begins gathering in Nashville. In July, Federal troops are sent to Nashville, and the infamous Dixie crisis begins. Dixieland (Fascist Tennessee) declares unofficial independence from the AU. About 750 lives are claimed in the three day conflict, but many saw this as a direct attack upon Freedom of Speech and ensured a Fascist victory in the 26' election.

-1926, Freedom Party in Parliament. KKK becomes government funded to make up for the Dixie Crisis. Many African-Americans flee to the North. Military is increased to 4% population and claims are placed on several surrounding areas. (Northern Cali, Cuba, Northern Mexico) Many African-Americans who don't flee are "relocated" (If you know about the Holocaust you catch, my drift)

-1927, President Francis Braxton, Major political figure during the Great War and Fascist is assassinated along with 12 Fascist parliament members. Relocation camp in Texas is overthrown. The acting President and Prime Minister Henry Grubbard commits suicide when an angry mob surrounds Parliament. At least 20 Fascists where seized and lynched as the mob stormed the Parliament building.

-1930s, Great Depression, many still stand stubbornly attacked to the Fascists claiming they would've ended the Depression. Depression ends in 41'.

-1954, infamous Ciudad Juarez incident sees border clash between AU and Azteca, good relations held for over 50 years come crashing down.

-1956, The Union's close ally, Egypt, is attacked by the UK, France and Israel at once. The AU immediately condemns the invasion. The Union Egyptian Defense Force (the AU division in Egypt) soon finds itself fighting three strong powers. No official declaration of war is signed, but Union and British forces fight head on against one other. France, UK and Israel take a lot more losses than IRL and Israel never seizes the Sinai Peninsula. Due to the Union practically saving Egypt, the Suez Canal was lended to them until the year 2100. Egypt and the AU remain close allies to this day.

-1964, Atomic Weapons are tested in Arizona and New Mexico soon has CNA threatening war. However, the AU continues to do so in secret. AU supports Germany in it's many disputes with France over the next two decades.

-1971, First Emancipation loss in elections since 1926, Unionist party wins election, despite their heavily Conservative views, they do not discriminate against African-Americans. (They kinda do, but no where to the extent of the Fascists)

-1982, With no other choice, the AU follows in the footsteps of the CNA and begins reducing racial discrimination.

History of your Nation (Please be very detailed):
-1606, settlers sailing from the Virginia Company sailing to the New World made landfall in modern day "Kingsland" They created a town called Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the Americas.

-1610, the colony had expanded across Kingsland, with conflicts with natives occurring frequently. The next twenty years where a rough time for the colonies, as many Native Attacks occurred daily. Many fell to the Indians and starvation, but the colonists expanded on.

-1635, the colony had expanded to nearly cover all of IRL Virginia, North Carolina and small parts of Tennessee. The colonies slowly expanded to cover all the lands of the IR CSA save for Texas and Louisiana by 1670.

-1687, Plot planned out for years by colonists to force out the British fails and the south is put under marshal law until the year 1700. This is known as one of the worst times in AU history as British soldiers committed horrid atrocities without reprecussions.

-1812, War with Azteca sees many Southerners sent to their deaths, and the Southern economy getting hit hard. Hatred for the British grows tenfold during this time.

-1831, When the Confederation of North America gains dominion, the South appeals to Burgoyne for autonomy, but is denied and is placed under control of the CNA. Only three months later, the "Independence Party" is founded in Richmond.

The Hundred Day War actually lasted 102 days, however many claim the first two days to not count as the American Union had not officially declared independence. On March 29th, 1833, slavery was outlawed in the Confederation of North America. At first, this seemed to be simply an event that may anger some people, but it rapidly hurdled out of country. Outside of Houston, Texas, a plantation of slaves revolted against there owners after hearing this. The next day, nearly thirty plantations where overthrown by slaves and dead bodies began litering the streets of multiple major southern cities. On the third day the plantation owners struck back, and pro-slavery groups and militias began killing the revolting slaves. On March 31st, 1833, AKA AU independence day; Texas was the first state to secede from the Confederation, blaming the CNA for the hundreds of lives lost. Georgia and Alabama where second and third respectively. Within a week all of the south save for Kentucky and California seceded. On April 18th, former CNA soldiers and Pro-slavery militias ferried themselves out too and seized Fort Sumter in Charleston harbor.

The next two weeks where quiet, with little fighting save for border skirmishes. The first major battle was at Richmond, Virgina, where nearly 21,000 Southerners faced 35,000 CNA forces. The CNA where victorious, despite taking major losses. With the AU retreat to Petersburg, AU "Greycoats" stormed the city of Vicksburg, Missouri, which was one of the largest concentrations of CNA forces in the south. The AU won their first major victory at Petersburg when they routed CNA forces. The next few weeks where quiet again, as neither side wanted to make any drastic moves. Many slaves revolted in Louisiana, and when the Greycoats turned to face this new threat the CNA struck in Kentucky, occupying much of the state. The AU gathered its forces just south in Nashville, Tennesee. When the CNA struck at Nashville, they where greeted with a massive force of nearly 60,000 Greycoats, who ran them back to Cincinnati.

With it being obvious the war was going no where, the CNA's government began questioning allowing the AU to become independent. The British where pouring money into their Dominion to aid in the war, and was seeing that it clearly wasn't helping. AU forces began moving towards Maryland, with hopes of pushing to Burgoyne, but they where defeated just south of Washington. The AU began digging in, realizing they didn't need to strike into the North. The CNA officially granted the South independence on June 26th, 1833. The AU immediately began demobilizing in the far West, but in the East they still had a fight to finish in Kentucky. Kentucky had declared independence as the Republic of Kentucky, due to the high presence the CNA held there during the war. There was no major battles, just lots of small skirmishes especially in the north near Cincinnati. Many to this day consider Kentucky as independent of the American Union, but of curse they are incorrect.

-1834, Reconstruction begins in the south, many bands of freed slaves continue to perform guerilla warfare attacks against the AU for the next decade.

-1870s, Industrial Revolution, south is much more industralized than IRL due to the need to counter the north. The AU also begins making overtures to the German Empire to counter the CNA's close relations with Britain. In 1879 the capital is changed from Richmond to Atlanta.

1890, American Union finally fully stabilizes as it approaches the 20th century. The AU begins increasing it's semi lacklustre military with German weapons and equipment, and soon make a uniform similar to the CNA one but with more of a Green color scheme. The AU also signs into an alliance with the Aztecs, hoping to gain an ally against the massive power to the north.

With massive destabilization growing in the north with all sorts of Far-Leftists rioting against the CNA government in 1905 left the American Union in a rather good position. Union generals began scheming for an invasion of their northern neighbor, however, with possible British retaliation and the lack of an Western border due to Cascadia blocking the way, AU generals realized they needed to try to bring a speedy defeat to the Confederation. AU president Thomas Woodrow Wilson appointed John J. Pershing as head of the Army of North Virginia which was spearheading the assault on two of the CNA's most important cities, Washinton and Burgoyne. The AU forces began massing above the city of Richmond, the AU's former capital. With the CNA moving to a Provisional Government, the AU seized the moment and pushed on May 4th, 1906 General Pershing's force crossed the Potomac.

AU cossacks crushed many CNA forces outside the city as the small garrison struggled to set up entrenchments just outside the city. AU forces began moving both by boat and land towards the city, seeing that it was not heavily guarded. The battle in the fields was quick and Union morale skyrocketed. As the AU forces prepared to burn the city, the forth and fifth divisions spit off from the Army of North Virginia and moved West towards West Virginia and Maryland, giving much confidence to Pershing as it seemed the war would in fact be the rapid war of conquest Wilson had hoped of him. The next target for the AONV was Baltimore, which was where majority of the Washington garrison was retreating too. After burning the Governor-Generals mansion (More as a message to Britain than the CNA) Pershing moved to Baltimore in Late August, which had similar results to D.C. It appeared to Pershing that victory was at hand and Burgoyne would soon be his.

Baltimore soon had a different problem. Militiamen from the "Workers Commitee" where attacking his troops in the urban downtown of Baltimore, where his clunky troops made easy targets as they lacked the wide open fields outside D.C. where they had given the CNA a run for their money. The stunning Union cavalry had no use in the streets of Baltimore, leaving rookies and unskilled soldiers to have to deal with constant guerilla attacks. Suddenly Burgoyne was reinforced not by the same poorly trained CNA regulars that Pershing had crushed at Washington and Baltimore. Pershing was finally shown the error of his troops ability of fighting in urban environments at Newark, Delaware, just south of Burgoyne. Pershing lost almost as many troops at Newark than he had at Washington and Baltimore combined.

Wilson, upon hearing of Pershing's first major defeat, immediately began a campaign of propaganda criticising the "Godless Communists" .(Yes I know there Socialists but to the south their is no real difference) The hyperreligious populace of the south harbored a deep hatred for the WC, especially after Newark. Many slogans such as "Better dead than red" and "The only good Commie is a dead Commie" began appearing rather frequently in the South.

In the meantime, the Union fleet set to finish off what remained of the CNA's power along the Potomac. The Fleet of Virginia moved up the Potomac and prepared to crush the Potomac Fleet at Cornfield Harbor, which was actually a rather poor decision as many later joined the WC. On the night of March 13th, 1907, a small raiding party of about 17 of Pershing's best men snuck into the harbor at which the Potomac fleet was stationed, and detonated several bombs on a dreadnaught located in the center of harbor, created mass confusion which allowed the Fleet of Virginia to crush the Potomac fleet the next morning as ships struggled to leave the small ablaze harbor while being pounded by shells from AU ships. This battle returned some morale to the Union forces after the battle of Newark, but was actually a false feeling as the WC would continue to gain victories against the AU.

While the Eastern front moved up and down for the Union, the West was slightly embarrassing. Despite early victorious against the CNA in Utah and Arizona the AU forces where hit hard in the rear by Mormon militia, supporters of Deseret. When the AU forces first saw the forces of Deseret coming down the mountain, their black coats caused many AU soldiers to refer to it as "The Angel of Death descending the mountain upon us" The AU forces near Salt Lake city where defeated by a force only around 1/3 their size because the sight and being attacked in the rear sent many AU soldiers fleeing in panic. The AU never again made a large move in the West until 1913 when a force of about 20,000 tried to take advantage of the Deseret-CNA peace treaty and move through the territory, but ended up being pushed out by fierce Mormon resistance.

By late 1915 the borders had nearly returned to pre-war. Heavy fighting was taking place in D.C. between Pershing and the WC, and the AU was constantly making moves on Deseret, but the war didn't seem to be going anywhere. At the Fourth Battle of Washington, the final major AU victory, American Union Marines fought off a force of WC nearly 2 times their size at the small sub-battle of McLean, VA where many AONV forces urged the Marines to retreat, however Marine Captain Lloyd W. Williams replied with the now famous phrase: "Retreat? Hell, we just got here!". The Marines than fought off the WC forces despite impossible odds. Sadly, Captain Williams died in battle shortly after. The skill of the AUMC who where brought in to replace the ever dwindling Army of North Virginia was first shown there, and it began the fame of the AUMC that still exists today. General Pershing later said, "The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle!" The war would later end in Status Quo ante Bellum in 1916, however the south partially achieved their goals, British influence had been removed from North America, ironically by their own enemies. However, the AU had new problems, with growing tensions in their own nation.

-1921, the Emancipation party wins their first ever election, and promises to free all slaves across the AU. This is met with direct opposition by the Freedom Party, a Racist and Fascist party that believed that Slavery was not enough for African-Americans, but complete and utter annihilation. of the black race.

-1922, Slavery is officially outlawed in the AU, and the racist terror group the "Klu Klux Klan" is founded. This group instantly declared allegiance to the Freedom Party, who is in complete uproar over the event.

-1925, With the rise of Fascist support in the AU due to the massive Socialist threat to the north, the Freedom party begins organizing the KKK into a more militarized organization. (Similar to the IRL NSDAP's S.S.) The KKK begins gathering in Nashville. In July, Federal troops are sent to Nashville, and the infamous Dixie crisis begins. Dixieland (Fascist Tennessee) declares unofficial independence from the AU. About 750 lives are claimed in the three day conflict, but many saw this as a direct attack upon Freedom of Speech and ensured a Fascist victory in the 26' election.

-1926, Freedom Party in Parliament. KKK becomes government funded to make up for the Dixie Crisis. Many African-Americans flee to the North. Military is increased to 4% population and claims are placed on several surrounding areas. (Northern Cali, Cuba, Northern Mexico) Many African-Americans who don't flee are "relocated" (If you know about the Holocaust you catch, my drift)

-1927, President Francis Braxton, Major political figure during the Great War and Fascist is assassinated along with 12 Fascist parliament members. Relocation camp in Texas is overthrown. The acting President and Prime Minister Henry Grubbard commits suicide when an angry mob surrounds Parliament. At least 20 Fascists where seized and lynched as the mob stormed the Parliament building.

-1930s, Great Depression, many still stand stubbornly attacked to the Fascists claiming they would've ended the Depression. Depression ends in 41'.

-1954, infamous Ciudad Juarez incident sees border clash between AU and Azteca, good relations held for over 50 years come crashing down.

-1964, Atomic Weapons are tested in Arizona and New Mexico soon has CNA threatening war. However, the AU continues to do so in secret. AU supports Germany in it's many disputes with France over the next two decades.

-1971, First Emancipation loss in elections since 1926, Unionist party wins election, despite their heavily Conservative views, they do not discriminate against African-Americans. (They kinda do, but no where to the extent of the Fascists)

-1982, With no other choice, the AU follows in the footsteps of the CNA and begins reducing racial discrimination.
