Did you read the history? They got their Turkish land in 1922, in the Greco-Turkish war. That is not unrealistic - had the Greek king at the time not died, they could have expected the full backing of the European Allies.

Did you read the history? They got their Turkish land in 1922, in the Greco-Turkish war. That is not unrealistic - had the Greek king at the time not died, they could have expected the full backing of the European Allies.

The PoD is in 1970... No time Earlier.... So you have to make a history from that point on...

Great, I now have to think of someway to make Byzantium happen after 1970 (yeah right), make a new app (which I have neither the time nor the great inclination to do), or abandon this roleplay entirely (something else I don't particularly want to do.

Just go with Greece... I've done it a many a times before in rps...

Greece would've collapsed by know without USA help, considering their current economic situation IRL, they most likely are in anarchy.

Just go with Greece... I've done it a many a times before in rps...

*sigh* if I really have to, fine. But I will just pull a Hitler, rejuvanating the economy by arming, then invading a hopefully unsuspecting Turkey (unlikely) and take Istanbul, suffeting huge casualties.

What's more likely is total anarchy due to lack of EU bailouts. Byzantium solved that problem because they had access to the former Turkish 'core' - important production and population centres, generating more income.

I know this is unrealistic but I am now incredibly grouchy and, at 11:00 pm GMT, not prepated to think of anything better at this point.

Please bear in mind that this is beyond extremely frustrating for me.

Hell no.

Israelis aren't Arabs... They're Jewish ethnics and were there before any other ethnic groups, they also had their own empire called "Judea".
